Really quiet hotel and actually is pretty comfortable The rooms are decent sized and the hotel is in a good area as well However the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint

Literally the walls had some chipping and spots were paint was missing But regardless of that the room was very clean and the pool area was great as was the free breakfast

Rick Martinez

Always come here and never had an issue But this time it was bad The room we got, 325 was dirty

Mold in the bathtub and the water was cold until the raised the heater temp Spots that looked like boogers on the wall and the doors where dirty and dusty and i took pics of everything Let’s see if management cares or not Also we don’t like the part that they tell us now that we can’t take any of the breakfast to the room!? Really!! Why not!! For $120 a night I expect better service for sure!!!

The rooms were spotless and very nice Service was amazing, though one guy did kind of come in to drop something off I’d requested without checking, caught my wife unawares He didn’t know I wasn’t staying alone

But they provide pots and pans and a hot plate for free if you ask Other than the outdoor pool needing a good cleaning, everything was fantastic

Edgar Hernandez

I was greeted with a “yes” by the front desk person The location is great and close to restaurants Clean rooms, breakfast was also good

Loved the app, it function as a key to be able to open doors Pools was Ok, needed some cleaning Again, 2 stars for the service, front desk needs to learn some customer service and manners Other than than it was great

Planned an overnight shopping spree to La Plaza mall and this hotel/motel is literally next door to Macy’s Quiet and old-school, I appreciated their price and the convenience of walking to the mall Nice trees

A pool that was not filled Check-in was fairly smooth although the clerk made us wait for a ground floor room when it was clear the motel was hardly filled

Amanda Munoz

TERRIBLE!!!!! Horrible customer service!!! DO NOT STAY HERE, I booked this hotel for my mother who is attending a funeral for my father and upon leaving the hotel she was charged an ADDITIONAL $60 for towels that cannot be replaced? (Very confused at this point) I spoke with a younger woman named Carolina who said she was the General Manager, she had absolutely no explanation for what happened, only that she had spoken with the “head housekeeper” about the towels there were NO photos of “said towels” that they claimed were destroyed and I had to ask her 5 seperate times before sending an itemised receipt to my email

This is absolutely the worst customer service I have received in my life, Not only was Carolina extremely rude and very unsympathetic towards our situation she could not provide any explanation for how these towels were “destroyed” during the stay or could not provide any photo evidence or pictures of the addition $60 damage fees to the towels All she said was “If I have them, I will send them” I can guarantee you I will have my husband reach out to American Express to dispute these additional charges and that we will never stay or mention this hotel to anybody! They are obviously looking for an easy unethical way to increase revenue and when I mentioned staying in a cheaper hotel to save money she got very defensive saying this is NOT a cheap motel, you could’ve stayed at Motel 6 The only reason I gave this place 1 star was because I had too but from my experience here I have never felt so unsatisfied and even more unwelcome

danielle arizmendi

Horrible the room was facing macys at la plaza mall, the room smelled, was very outdated and the door was not working properly so we had bugs and mosquitoes flying in So i go to attempt to talk to a manager and they said you can’t get a refund but we can switch you rooms i said no I want a refund She said I’m sorry the manager won’t be in till Monday

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all theses reviews are very misleading and this hotel is like a room you would rent by the hour

To start off, we had booked an ADA room but were placed in a regular room When we brought it to their attention, we were told that we would have to wait until the next day Surprise, they never gave us the ADA room

My mother-in-law (quadruple amputee) had to take a rag bath on the toilet because she could not access the showerWhat upsets me us that on their website they say the hotel is “Accessible” friendly, but it truly isn’t, it’s just somewhat “convenient”The elevators are so small and narrow, we barely could fit my mother-in-law with her wheelchairThe website says that their staff is “trained to service guests with disabilities” but they obviously weren’t Any question I had about the “accessible” amenities, the staff didn’t know how to answer me or did not know the answerFor example, I asked about the accessible pool and none of the staff knew if the equipment worked properly “It should work” “I don’t know” “you can check yourself”I’m not going to wheel my mother-in-law all the way down to the pool and transfer her into the pool lift and then find out it doesn’t workLoud construction was right outside during our stay, hotel was musty and humidFood was nothing special but very expensive2 stars is for the historic site

jesse patterson

First room had major issue with mold surrounding the A/C vent in the ceiling, and no towels in the room, second room offered had mold on in the bathroom ceiling, didn’t feel like moving to a third room since the mold was contained in the bathroom Does this hotel understand that the safety concerns of breathing in mold? I only wish I could add my photos to this review so you could understand!!

Matt Shannon

Great stay at Casa de Palmas hotel! Check-in was super easy! Rates were on-par Room was very clean and comfortable! Room was a little small, however, it’s an older historic hotel that has been expertly modernized! It just took a minute to figure out where to put the luggage foldout where it wouldn’t be in the way LOL

Not really a problem Plenty of electrical outlets New TV Can be controlled via your phone and/or the remote in the room Great pool! Nice bar Awesome location!!! Close to everything!

Great location near tons of shopping and restaurants Definitely had everything we needed on our little Business trip Super clean and great staff our only complaint was the water pressure was below par

It was definitely Disappointing especially since it was over a 100° each day of our visit Better shower would have got them five stars

Nice place, the front desk staff was very friendly and respectful, although it was undergoing exterior remodeling, the room is large and the bed comfortable Just two observations about my stay… *there are two photos of owls that make you feel very uncomfortable… *and in the bathtub had facial hair on it, as if someone had shaved in the bathtub I had to wash it as I would be bathing my baby

Nelva Salazar

Room very nice and cleanRequested a rollaway bed and wasn’t sure what to expect but it was comfortable and fit perfectly beside one of the beds and wallNo issues or complaints with the hotel room;includes a nice size TV, microwave, keurig and fridge

I Have Stayed Here Before Years Ago And I Have No Complaints About That Stay That Time Yesterday I Booked On Bookingcom And Just Because My License Is Under The Name I’m In The Process Of Changing, Just The First Name, And My Card That I Paid With With The Other Name I’m Legally Changing It To, The Worker There, Or I Don’t Know If She’s The Manager Or Not, Didn’t Process My Stay

In Bookingcom It Just Mentions To Show A VALID ID And A Card Doesn’t Mention Anything About Them Having to HAVE To Be Under The Same Name The Room Was Paid And I Was Completely Exhausted, Irritated, Aggravated, Sleepless, Back Aching So Much I Just Couldn’t Deal With But I Think Was Pretty Petty And Not So Cooperative Or Understanding Whatsoever I Do Not Have Issues Anywhere Else; Not Mentioning Other Hotels, In General, With This I Think They Could’ve Handled It Differently Or At Least Somehow Transferred My ONLY funds I Had At That moment To My Brothers Name If That Was Te Issue

No toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, lotionToilet was tiltedNo fan in the bathroomNo coffee maker, no hair dryer, no iron

Drew Smith

First issue I had was when I got to the room it was dirty I had to request a broom and some towels to clean the room, plus the fridge because they didn’t have anyone to do it As I was sleeping I noticed dead roaches throughout the room and under the cabinet

Second there was shaved hair in the shower and long hair on the toilet seat and pillow cases There were never any extra towels to shower with or pillows to use The pillows were SO FLAT I woke up with a crook in my neck I checked in Sunday and by Thursday night I was ready to go I called downstairs abd Anthony said I would be able to get the remainder of my money back, but I called this morning to get checked out and Elizabeth said I wouldn’t be able to get a refund Mind you the advertise rate is 4600 per night but they said that’s for a weekly rate, the nightly rate is really 60 or 70 something When I saw a live roach i called and got another room at a different hotel and left at 330 AM it was that bad

Upon check-in, we noticed there were a lot of fans running constantly in the lobby, I am assuming it was due to some flooding We were told checking in would take longer since there were still cleaning the room; this took an extra 45 minutes of waiting in the lobby with those load fans When we arrived to the room, it was very humid

yet cold which is interesting The carpeted floors were very damp and it became apparent at night since a very dank smell started to take over the room other minor issues were that the extra sheets had some stains on them so I assumed they were dirty and could not use them The tap water did not look too good and had a murky off-white color to it The continental breakfast was supposed to run until 9:30am but when we arrived at 9am, everything was gone None of us really got to try that out which was disappointing We called front desk and our complaints were “noted” but no action taken Overall I would say my experience here was disappointing and not a good look for Marriott

Israel Morales

Average place, all the people I needed to interact to was not kind at all, seemed to be not comfortable with the job or something Found about 3 hairs on the tub, manageable but disgusting Also felt bad when having breakfast, there is a person serving, only got a small plate, I’ve asked for a little bit more but she told me the breakfast was for all the guests, she offered me a bagel instead

Leslie Von Der Ahe

I can’t express how much I enjoyed staying at Townsuites by Marriott, off Trenton The staff are like family The Border Patrol also stays there and I met so many wonderful people and hung out by the pool, bar and outside patio

Casey’s food truck was so convenient The guys did fish fries, crawfish boils and potluck! I lol go back just to hang out in the bar with Cody who is a superstar Alex, Leroy, Corbin and so many other staff members are amazing!!! Thank you for all your support!!!

Nice hotel with so much potential When I first walked in and saw the layout I was amazed Rooms were clean and sanitized

Front desk staff were friendly and professional Parking can be a little tight, so use the parking structure next to the hotel The restaurant inside the hotel has a small menu for the evening crowd, however the service is extremely lacking I would like to give Crystal a big shout out of gratitude for guest first service attitude Thanks Crystal

Mother’s day brunch

My husband and I went to the Christmas buffet back in 2017 It was delicious with plenty of food! When the buffet re-opened after covid, we brought 2 other couples to your Mothers day brunch on 5/8/22 We were so disappointed Not only was the food supply low in the dishes, it wasn’t the quality we had had in the past All main dishes were only a quarter way full Our waitress, although friendly and trying to be helpful, you could tell they were seriously understaffed The desert table was sloppy and ran out of different items without being refilled Your famous cookies were delicious although for a 2 pm seating, we had to wait till 3:30 for them to be served We had to wait over a half hour for the bacon and sausage to be refilled and even then, it was rubbery Sad experience for $3995 per person Never again

Valerie Gulsby

Service was really amazing, some of the nicest staff I’ve ever engaged with I loved all the Amenities Bar, Restaurant etc Hotel however does need a lot of upgrades

Outside of the pool smelled fishy and near the bar it smelled like a backed up Sewage line most of the elevators were out and stain’s on the carpet was a little unpleasant Overall because of the such great service I give it a thumbs up

I can’t give zero stars Let me preface this by saying the property did offer me a different room, but since the room I was offered also smelled of mold, I declined I was hoping maintenance would do something about the smell the following morning

It was the following morning I found the cockroachFront desk clerk Robert was extremely rude And the manager could not care less I did tell her that I would write a review, she found my comment amusing and told me to do what I needed to do So here’s the review

daniel espino

Robert, the person ant the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful we were traveling with our kid with autism and after we checked in we were listening to him laughing with someone else about Kyle our Son, we decided to cancel our reservation and stay somewhere else, really disappointed about Marriott and their employees I will never stay again at this property that makes fun of kids with mental disabilities

This is my 3rd time staying here and overall have enjoyed it very much The breakfast is always amazing Although could do a better job at ensuring tables are cleaned

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the parking Every single time I have stayed here, there is only one entrance and exit All other areas are blocked off by a metal fencing barrier It is extremely annoying having to drive around trying to find the entrance Which is always at the back of the hotel and not at the front I know it also isn’t a thing they only do at night because we arrived for check in 3pm and all areas were blocked off except an area in the back of the hotel I don’t know if they have a towing policy in place, but I assume they do this in order to prevent people, who are not guests, from parking there However, it is such an inconvenience for your guests If that is the case, why not implement a parking policy where guest are given a paper to put on the dash and others can be towed I don’t understand why else the entrances would be blocked off Also seems like a safety risk if there were to be an emergency! Overall my stays are always great and quiet This is the only issue

BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! Highly recommend this place The front desk staff were amazing, breakfast was outstanding and free happy hour was great! Who doesn’t like free beverages and snacks!?? I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling for business or pleasure The staff are so friendly and helpful, they really made my stay extra special Juan, Robert, Ricky, Paola, Gabby, Desma, Shelly, and the breakfast grill chefs always have a smile and always ready to serve you

The happy hour in the lobby from 5-7:30 is FANTASTIC!!!! I can’t say enough about this place, and will never stay anywhere else while I’m traveling

My family and I were visiting from out of town and booked rooms at a neighboring motel It was horrible! Desperate to find last minute rooms at another hotel, we were saved by a wonderful man named Eric (the manager) I called and was greeted by a very friendly young lady who assisted us with our reservations

The price was about what I expected it to be We stayed in the beautiful suites It was incredibly clean, smelled so fresh, and my family was so comfortable We slept great and woke up to find hot fresh breakfast waiting downstairs The pool was beautiful and clean (however we did not partake) A must stay for anyone wanting great service and great pillows 😉

Very impressed by the level of service rendered by the dining hall and housekeepers on a busy Spring Break weekend The rooms were impeccable and the breakfast area was well-stocked and clean in spite of there being dozens of demanding guestsUnfortunately, these were the only posts at which we spotted female personnel and they were severely understaffed

In spite of being IHG Spire Elite card members, they only gave us one hour late check-out; most usually allow threeA few hours after arriving, I asked about complimentary points we usually receive, but Erik said we wouldn’t be receiving any because we were using points for our stayLater in the evening, when we called the overnight front desk receptionist, he kept us on hold for an extremely long time and then wouldn’t answer When we went downstairs to ask for utensils, he quickly showed us his cell phone and said he was talking to the manager It wasn’t rude necessarily, just a little strangeI finally received an email letting us know points had been added to our account, but they are nowhere near the amount we used to receive for stays before the pandemicAgain, we were very happy with the impeccable rooms and common areas and the clean and well-stocked breakfast during our stay

This hotel needs a major renovation Only 1 elevator which is extremely slow Walls were super thin – our neighbor arrived to their room at 1am and proceeded to have a long and loud phone call, so we did not get a great nights sleep

Shuttle is not 24 hour – our flight arrived after 11pm, so we had to get a taxi We booked this hotel BECAUSE it had an airport shuttle
