Walls seem a bit thin Heard a lot of people coming and going between 10pm-1am in the hallway Also, could hear the television and conversations right next door loudly at 8am

Window coolers have a thermostat and go on and off all night during this heatwave Kind of funny as these were popular coolers in the 1960s Nice room and bathroom with microwave and a refrigerator and coffee maker Breakfast was adequate with a waffle maker, cereals, juices bread and coffee Although, help needs to do a much better job of watching food supplies Both days we ran out of coffee and had to ask multiple times for replacement coffee Wait, wait, wait Ran out of coffee, waffle batter, yogurt, milk and cereal bowls the first morning by 8:00am Two of those were never replenished an entire hour later when the kitchen closed Several of the visitors were unhappy about the lack of any attention to our needs at breakfast Overall, an okay property The noise from dogs barking in the hallways (pet friendly) was also a mild irritation Best assets were proximity to the nearby lake and nice rooms, beds and shower

Room was clean and bathroom was very clean and nice At first I thought there was no closet but it was behind a giant full length mirror Our particular room was supposed to have 2 queen beds but only had one plus a fold out couch bed

Another small annoyance was there was no regular coffee packs in our room or coffee cups There was only decaf and regular thin plastic cups in the bathroom

The place is dirty for starters Open pet policy means they don’t have any pet free rooms The toilet was broken in the ground and the smell of urine came strongly through the floor constantly

Surfaces were dirty The breakfast consisted of bread you had to toast yourself on a convection oven that was never plugged in, during a 3 night stay Eggs bland and overcooked Sausage links Waffles you have to make yourself and they were out of batter every time I went That’s it No other meat no gluten free options, cereal but only room temp water No cups other than small water cups It was so dirty Couldn’t eat there due to how dirty it was Disorganized and sloppy Multiple people complaining Terrible smelling carpets and unit was overwhelming My husband has an asthma attack, my son and i had allergic reactions to the heavy dog dander in the room It was so unpleasant They did nothing to rectify the situation They charged me for an extra 2 nights and didn’t return that money until 3 days post returning to my home state Then after I complained I reviewed email stating I was being refunded and that housekeeping came by and offered a new room And that we declined That infuriates me because it never happened This place was awful I would not stay here again if my life depended on it I stay in Texas sometimes 10 times a year and it’s my home state I received no refund as of yet, and I don’t expect I will I feel totally sad that this place looks and sounds great, especially the free breakfast but it turns out to be terrible Oh also the trash bin on the 3rd floor by the elevator was piled high with trash all three days No housekeeping was done on that floor And the elevator smelled of urine Just all around don’t go here

This place is immaculate Room was extremely clean and so was the bathroom Jack in the Box was extremely close and so were other restaurants

The pool was heated and felt really good The front desk rep was busy on the phone because another potential customer was working her nerves so I had a to wait a bit to get checked in but I enjoyed my stay and would come back

Beautifully kept hotel We were greeted by Jerry who was SO friendly and went above and beyond to inform us about places to eat and best way to navigate to the concert we were going to! Even took our picture as we left to the concert He made this review! We were sad to miss him when we checked out

The room was bigger and more cozy than we expected! Breakfast was great, fresh and tasty! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Very nice place Great value Very clean and the staff is nice

Appears to be a fairly new building Plenty of shopping and food in this vicinity We are 10 minutes from Dos Equis Pavilion Free parking Our last trip to Dallas we stayed downtown where we paid $18 every time we left and returned to park, so free parking is very nice I just finished the included breakfast with a waffle and there are muffins and other things available Good enough

The beds & pillows are sooo soft & comfy, I had to book another night Staff did EVERYTHING they could to satisfy me, & that’s what counts My room & bathroom was clean in all my rooms, no bed bugs, gnats, roaches and etcThe Wi-Fi works splendid The area is quiet and near convenient stores The atmosphere doesn’t stink, and even though there was some guest who broke the rules of smoking, Management did all he could to correct the problem with kindness You can’t control people, & sometimes you can’t control or something doesn’t work like your room card going out during your stay, but when you have a manager that cares deeply about their guest satisfaction and does what he can to correct issues with Kindness, then that is what builds customer loyalty You have developed a loyal customer!!! I got a room 2 nights in a row, 1st night came to this location and was happy about room being cleaned, no smell, available at 12 am, and comfortable bed and pillows The only thing could’ve been better is the breakfast I went 1 hour after it’ opened and they ran out of eggs lol but the choices was many

Went to the Dallas East location very next day and by far Wayyy worst than this 1 Rooms are molded, gnat infested, breakfast horrible only had waffles and cereal literally, Wi-Fi don’t work, fitness center closed Basically I’m saying if you value , cleanliness, and want breakfast option than come to this location I will NEVER go back to the one on 635 Choose this LocAtion to get your money’s worth and a cleaner environment

This was the cheapest hotel I have ever saw1 The hair dryer was missing

2 Iron was missing3 The bathroom door was broken4 The bed sheet was burnt Someone may have smoked before in that room5 Also found a black spotSo, please whenever you check in to your room please make sure all of those things are all good If not then please report to the manager of that hotel otherwise you never know you could be responsible for those damages6 WORST BREAKFAST!!The breakfast was the worst!Their contemporary breakfast time starts from 6:00 am to 9:00amAnd I went to have my breakfast around 7:00am or 7:30amI was so surprised when I saw the breakfast menu!!They just had corn fleks, milk, sweet buns, cupcakes & apple juiceThe machine for orange juice was out of orderThere were 3 empty traysI went to the front desk and ask about the breakfast So I asked, ” Good morning ma’am, are those for the breakfast??”And she was busy with her phone and replied like “Yeah!”As if they are maintaining standard quality for contemporary breakfast! That employee was busy with her phone while she was responding to me! So rude!!Honestly speaking I stayed some other hotels before but this was the worst experience in my life Also, I don’t know about other locations but the hotel at this location 3424 Sorrento Dr, Mesquite, TX 75150 is just the worst!!

This is the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed at My room phone did not work and my toilet would not flush I called the front desk from my cell phone and was informed they would move me to a new room once one was clean

Two minutes after the call, someone beats on my door saying they’re “Maintenance” and here to fix my toilet I informed him I was already told by the front desk that I was being moved and he could gladly come fix toilet after my move is complete He then screams I can let him fix the toilet or leave because I’m not getting moved due to having no rooms This was completely contradictory to what I was told by Laura at the front desk I later find out that the maintenance man was also the head manager named Henry Please stay away from this property as they are rude, unprofessional, and clearly racist The night staff was great but the day time staff was the total opposite Don’t spend your money here

Dareyon gray-davison

the lady at the desk when checking in was on her phone playing a game the door was loud when we came in she heard us but i had to wait about a minute and then say hello can you help me! there was also a toddler being babysat both mornings when we were there she was a cute little kid but they mentioned they were babysitting while her mother slept? not sure what that was about but the hotel smelled so bad in the halls and in the room they were sold out so we could not move to another one, it was very loud and someone drumming in the wall next to us around 5am in the morning! i would not recommend this hotel unless you really need one and i wont be back!

Watch out! I don’t feel safe ! I lost 2 vantage necklaces ! Just one hour after I checked out, I found I left 2 necklaces on the desk and called the reception, they couldn’t find them and very rude to hand up the phone while I was talking The facility is very old, mirrors door can’t close properly! The worst experience I ever had all over the world!

Hyatt Park in Rockwall, Texas – 1600 La Jolla Dr, Rockwall, TX 75087 – This is a super hotel I stayed there two nights and loved the bright lighting throughout the room and particularly in the bathroom where there was a make-up mirror with under lighting

The bathroom was supplied with large towels and had instant hot water in the shower which had a safety rail and an easy-to-operate-one-handle faucet The room had a full-length mirror, comfortable chair, L-shaped couch, good refrigerator, big-screen TV, and a nice closet with lots of hangers, a safe, an iron, and extra bedding The bed was comfortable with numerous huge/soft pillows and a beautiful white comforter; and the double-curtains made it possible to keep out the sunlight when needed The heat and air conditioning were easily adjustable and worked efficientlyThe entrance, lobby, lounging areas, TV’s, cafeteria tables/chairs, and food choices were more than adequate with a market to purchase salads, sandwiches, candies, and drinks 24/7 I enjoyed two full breakfasts while there – eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes, cereals, fruits, juices, waffles, bagels, and a choice of delicious varieties of coffeeThe amenities included good parking, luggage carts, workout room, swimming pool, conference rooms, and washer/dryer/microwaves on various floorsMost importantly, each and every staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful They went out of their way to help me when I accidentally misplaced my iPhone Nothing makes travelers feel any better than to know that they are surrounded with staffers who care about them as individuals I am grateful to be able to recommend Hyatt Place Rockwall, Texas to any and all

Karmyn Ward

This is a great place to stay, and is not too much to pay either The rooms are a little bigger, beds are very comfy, nice showers, nice bathroom, TVs are really nice, and the service is great Every worker here is very friendly, and will help you right away

It’s in a very nice, pretty quiet, private location too It’s not right by the interstate, or right next to another building

David Lewis

The hotel is nice, breakfast is pretty much the same thing of eggs and sausage almost every morning But it is included The lobby is nice and spacious, with plenty of people willing to assist you

The location is great, but the rooms do not have any cooking place in them It’s the only extended stay I have seen where there is no place to cook They have 1 microwave for the entire hotel in the only laundromat as well The fridge is super small and is just a fridge no freezer The service is great, but the rooms lack of food preparation don’t make it quite as niceEditThey say one is the loneliest number, but this place has also taught me it is the worst as well One washer, one dryer, one microwave, one elevator for ONE ENTIRE hotel As my buddy I lived here with quite often says What a joke If you plan on staying here longer than a day probably find somewhere else to stay The staff are very nice though

First let me start off by saying that the rooms are so nice and cozy, The beds and sheets are always clean, neat and comfortable The staff and manager are all so kind and helpful, they created me every morning I was there and would do everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable for the time I was staying there! They also have a great selection of drinks, snacks, and hygiene care available in the lobby which made it so convenient instead of having to leave every-time I needed something! Will definitely be staying here again

This was by far the worst hotel stay I have ever had I should have read the reviews before booking There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee

Bench in the shower broke No toiletries Breakfast was lacking No waffles Had to eat eggs with a spoon and knife because they didn’t have forks They were out of trash bag and the trash was piled up Overall was not a good experience

Clayton Evans

Do not, should not, would not 6/12/2022Got in late get the keys to the room Walk in room dirty bedding on the floor floor stained with God’s knows what me being so tired I went to the front desk young lady did everything she possibly could even went to clean a room for us to stay in

Wasn’t perfect but she’s tried, wake up 7 the next morning to take my daughter to breakfast absolutely nothing of worth for breakfast all the containers empty My guess this place needs new management house keeping worthless walking around all morning drinking coffee Cook I guess doesn’t have to cook probably one of the worst stays I have ever had and trust me I have had better services at a Crack motel in the middle of Mexico

This was honestly one of the cleanest and well maintained hotels we’ve stayed in The front desk staff was excellent and super friendly and helpful! They made you feel at home! Breakfast was great, not bland like most hotel breakfasts We stayed 3 nights and each morning there was a great variety of food

We also had different choices each morning Will definitely stay again

The hotel staff was friendly and inviting The cleaning crew did a great job and kept the place tidy and towels well stocked The best part was the breakfast! You could see the gentleman in the kitchen chopping fresh vegetables making us the most delicious salsa

He kept such an organized kitchen and clean serving station all while making sure we all had what we needed

I stayed here for a month and the room was comfortable but I did find roaches Although they clean the rooms once a week, it was when they got cleaned where I’d find roaches in my room Also felt that the kitchen wasn’t stocked properly, but this was never resolved when I called

I checked out last week and got charged the $75 deposit even though I didn’t do anything to be charged the deposit The deposit I feel is an issue with any hotel at times so I am still trying to resolve thisUpdate: never gave me back my deposit and never got a reason or response for it

Emaline Lynn

I would absolutely give this zero stars if I could Toilet constantly running and eventually overflowing onto the bathroom floor Musty smell from floor to ceiling, sticky floors and grimy surfaces throughout

I booked the hotel for two nights and couldn’t even bare staying through my reservation There is an infestation bed bugs and/or fleas Misleading reviews on a third party website are the reason took a chance on this place I’d have to say the largest problem is the staff The lady working the front desk was not only of the coldest woman in hospitality I’ve ever seen, automatically going into autopilot instisting we were lying about any and every problem She even explained to us after coming into our room with a camera that she was trained to find them and left the original paperwork I signed when I first arrived and walked out of room like she had done this her entire career SLEEP IN A WALMART PARKING LOT, A HOMELESS SHELTERNOTHING IS WORSE THAN paying a company to infest your own house with bed bugs, feel so dirty you cant get clean, and being treated like a liar or/and some entitled guest that is looking for an easy way to get a free stay I’m going to sleep in my car now and then call the general manager in the morning At this point it looks like the hotel has got ripping people of down to a science and is used to keeping themselves out of legal troubleDisgraceful to Dallas!!!!

Kitambra Jeffries

It was a pleasure arriving to a friendly staff and clean room after traveling across three states in a couple of days I made the reservation via priceline and didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised I would definitely recommend to colleagues and will be staying here when in town

The construction is the only down side but it shall soon be completed

I want to personally thank the two Valets and the text customer service Also the bar was a great way to relax I can not wait until it warms up, I will be back! Awesome Hotel!

Used Resort Pass to book a cabana for a Monday Worth it! We got to the hotel at 10:30am and did their self park Super easy

The lobby of the hotel is so pretty Checked in at the desk and went out to the pool to claim our cabana! Bar opened at 11am so we got settled in and waited Our cabana waiter brought our chef’s welcome plate (fruit, good fruit) and mini waters Had to wait for the frozen machine to freeze (it was 110 that day, so yeah, we get it!) but had mixed cocktails to get us through Enjoyed the pool, the cool breezes off the lake, and the shade in our cabana Things to be aware of: prices are high (it’s a hotel, that’s how it works), lots of kids (summer time, that’s how it works), not super attentive staff (it’s 2022, that’s how it works) But overall it was a great time! We will be back for sure!!

Accommodations are great, breakfast was very satisfactory and my son enjoyed the pool with friends However, every staff we interacted with did not seem happy to be helping guests and requesting a late check out was almost denied due to housekeeping

but we were checking out on a Sunday and it didn’t appear that they had an influx of check ins happening while we had to sit in the lobby for the next 5 hours We stayed here because our event was hosted at the adjoining convention center but not the best place to stay if you are passing through or would like a friendly staff

Diana Ramirez

I come to Dallas at least once a month and almost always stay here Usually I have no problem The location is great and it’s a clean hotel

However, the night of April 14, 2022 was an unpleasant experience I checked in kind of late that night between 10-11 pm with my boyfriend (who I added as a guest when I booked the room on the Hilton app early that day) As I approached the front desk a black woman working that night demanded she had to see my id and my card, also stating I hadn’t reserved the room and that I had to pay Keep in mind I am a Diamond Hilton member, I know how to properly book a room online I was only going to the front desk for a physical card for my boyfriend I even let her know I already had a room number and my digital key was working so why would I need to pay again? She completely ignored me and proceeded to tell the other woman who she appeared to be training that we were “irresponsible” for not bringing my id and card and that it was our fault (they were in the car which my boyfriend went to go get) When she charged me AGAIN for the room I also noticed the price was higher than what I originally paid for when I booked online NOT including yet another $50 incidental charge At that point I wasn’t going to argue with her or even ask her why the price was higher I was already sleepy and annoyed of her impolite attitude The day after checkout (April 18, 2022) I received my folio and noticed the charge was exactly what I had booked the room for myself THROUGH THE APP I proceeded to call the hotel and asked them why was my bank account showing a different amount charged The woman who answered claimed to work with billing and said she couldn’t understand why the woman had charged me more and that there was nothing she could do about it because it was 7am Monday morning after Easter and that maybe the bank hadn’t caught up to what the hotel actually charged Eventually this was sorted out but I still don’t understand why the woman at the front desk even charged me more that night? She also didn’t offer me the free water and snack Diamond members get Even my boyfriend mentioned how unnecessarily rude she was to us I usually don’t bother writing reviews but this is one I had to complain about Getting treated badly by staff for no reason definitely ruined my go to hotel for me

Jermaine Layton

I was visiting to enjoy a banquet located in Ballroom A The front desk hostess could have been more welcoming She wasn’t super rude, but she was very direct and unwelcoming

The ballroom where the event was located was stuffy and warm and needed the AC on The hotel room my boss had reserved for me to change clothes in had a stuffy smell in it as well, but I can say that everything in the room seemed clean I’m not sure how long their 2nd elevator has been out of service, but my hope is that it will swiftly get fixed due to long waits and the elevator stopping on each floor and the concern of social distancing (pandemic protocols)The servers that catered the food were friendly and accommodating which may have been the best of the experience For the purpose of the event, we did enjoy ourselves, but realizing the experience as a consumer, this hosting hotel could improve more with the small things

Main reason we chose this hotel was for the pool and when we got there The pool smelled bad enough for me to not want to go in it with the kids Other than that the breakfast was the best! And the breakfast lady that goes by chicken was very kind and helpful as well as the most of the staff , plus AC was the perfect temp! The night before we left, some men were out drinking in the parking lot all afternoon and evening by their vehicles, asked me to shut off MY vehicle while my kids were IN it Being 102° out no

Its hot If they want to drink in peace they could go to there rooms! I did not feel safe coming in while they were out there

Robert Allen

This hotel is very good and overall a good choice but the light out front in the driveway keeps flickering like were in a dang horror movie Also occasionally some real weirdos will stay here and there’s a lot of construction going on at the freeway Luckily it’s not that loud since the walls seem sufficiently insulated

Overall I think this is a great holiday inn to stay at Just wish they had biscuits regularly for breakfast

Tonya Swonger

Staff very nice and helpful Manager is super sweet and anything needed, she did her best to make it happen Seems like the staff works together and I stayed here 1 week exactly and not once did I hear another staff member complaining about another

Positive atmosphere Clean Quiet They didn’t gripe if I had company like most motels Beds so comfortable I don’t have one complaint on this location Now I saved the best for last—- the little black lady in the kitchen can cook!!! Her Biscuits and Gravy are the BEST The gravy had such a good flavor, perfect amount of seasonings The cinnamon rolls OMG-melt in my mouth This young lady knows what she is doing and is a go getter She kept everything clean and filled I will definitely be coming back to this location My job requires 90% of my time staying in morels around the DFW area and I just found my second home Thank you to all the staff for making me feel welcomed and getting my belly full before I crashed(Daytime Sleeper)😘😘😘

Keep in mind this is a new location That said, the front desk staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was on the soft side but comfortable enough, and everything seemed to be in working order The website states “Truck Parking”, but there is limited space for a bobtail, or straight truck, and absolutely no room for a tractor/trailer

I initially liked it here very much, after my house burned down and losing absolutely everything

the people were friendly and the room was cozyBut then after a few days I realized that my room had bedbugs I had never seen one before so at first I thought it was just something I was picking up sitting outside After a week I realized that they were coming from the bed It wasn’t until then that I started to see the bites showing up It has been 2 weeks and my right side is still so bad that I have to wear long sleeves and long pants in this heat I’ve seen the Dr Antibiotics and steroids can’t get rid of the bite marks They’re almost all only on my right side and I was sleeping on my right side so it couldn’t be anything elseThe worst part is that I was moved to another room for one day but then they decided I must have brought them into that room and they need to fumigate the room I moved to And I had to goI have never had or even seen bedbugs in my life but I get kicked out of a hotel after getting annihilated by bedbugs when I am already displacedIt’s the worst insult to injury I have ever experienced AND it was on my birthdayAnd just saying about the picturesthe bug on the sheet did not come out of the burned out shell of my home

Excellent hotel! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit It was clean, the front desk staff was polite, the breakfast variety was good, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and they even allow pets! Huge bonus!! Good location with easy access to the highway and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe Only minor downside was because it was right off the highway it was noisy but our room was located on the backside of the hotel and it was very quiet

All in all, great experience We were very happy!

I travel for business 10 months out of the year I am a diamond member with Hilton and I’ve never had an issue before this stay I checked in late after driving 12 hours, ate my dinner and went to sleep

When I woke there were bugs on my cup, which sits next to the bed and in which I drink from all night When I went into the bathroom there was feces on the towel rack This was very unnerving! I took video and pictures of the feces, I showed them to the morning staff and ask for the manager to call me as I was starting another 12 hour drive The manager never called so I had to call corporate and file a complaint Corporate was wonderful One of the general managers from the Hampton Inn called, let’s message informing me he has put 20,000 points on my account and they hoped that that would make me happy There were bugs and fences, 20,000 points is not even equivalent to a one night stay at that hotel, needless to say I felt insulted I returned their call and they never called me back I do not recommend that particular Hampton Inn nor will I ever ever stay there again!

This hotel was very clean and the location was great Very close to the North Park Center shops/mall One small thing I wish we had known in advance- the bathroom doors are a barn door style and do not close completely or offer much in the way of privacy

This is probably fine if you’re staying in a room with family, but with non-family you might prefer to be able to shut the door completely There is a large gap on each side of the door so others can see/hear/smell directly into the bathroom Thankfully no one in our room was super modest, but it was a bit awkward

Avoid this hotel or it will cost you I booked a stay here when my father and I flew into Dallas to visit my son When we arrived we were abruptly told they didn’t have a room for us because of a known system glitch and we needed to go to the Hampton Inn next door

I was charged a no show fee of $19781 the next day This was on 6/25 It’s now 8/12 and I still haven’t received a refund for the cancellation fee Additionally the Hampton Inn cost me over $310 additional to what my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn would have been I attempted to email the hotel manager and have not received a response I contacted Hilton Corporate and they failed to respond as well Here I am out over $500 because of their known system glitch and I can’t get a response or my money back This is not how you treat your guests period!

DO NOT STAY HERE!My catalytic converter was stolen while parked at their front door They cannot protect your property even with a security guard The GM even admitted this was not the first time this has happened at the property

There is a reason why all their doors require key card access This is not a good area to stay for the aforementionedAs a Diamond Member, I stay often with Hilton properties This was my most expensive stay! While empathetic, they do NOT take responsibility for a repeated problem This trip cost me over $5k Skip this property and find a safer option

I stayed here recently in conjunction with a training class that I was conducting It was my first stay and this hotel and the first in a long time at any HIE It’s a nice hotel; modern and comfortable

The hot breakfast (it was actually hot) was the best I’ve had at any comparable hotel in a long time No frozen pastries! The room decor is not what you would expect in a hotel Colorful but not too bright and plenty of lighting Bathroom lighting still leaves something to be desired That’s no big deal for me but could be a problem for anyone trying to do their hair and makeupOverall, the staff and facilities were excellent and I’d have no qualms about staying here again

Had a great stayLove the food options with in walking distanceEasy on and off the freewayStaff was very fun and friendlyAs a former maintenance director in building engineer, I do nitpick everything about a building

I feel that they should spend a little bit more time and effort in a few more dollars to pick some of the repairs in the rooms in common areasThere are a series of things that could be done that cost a few dollars but in the long term saves money and has a happier customer returnPool was clean which is kind of rare these daysThe breakfast options aren’t that bad You get some pancakes, biscuits and gravy sausage and things of that natureTo be honest with the location that it’s at, you’re a few minutes from downtown close to Rockwall with all some great shops and things to do You’re right there at the lake with great ample parking By the way, The dollar you spend is worth spending it there You’re going to get your money’s worth out of your stayWe will stay there again

Had to cut my stay short Originally it was three nights, I stayed one only The drain in the bathroom was broken, I had to manually lift it up for the water to drain

The night time employee at the front desk couldn’t leave his post so it had to be resolved the next day The A/C was at 81 degrees all night long Some elevator buttons were broken The mini fridge had an ice cream from the last guest and wasn’t cooling properly To wrap up, the hotel is way too overpriced for what it is The next day, the daytime front desk employee was very courteous and gave me a discount for the troubles The maintenance employee was very nice and helpful as well
