Not worth the money Room was not clean properly it was hair in tub They advertise breakfast they have a bag with an orange and water

False advertisement Would not have stayed Our toilet leaked all night woke up to wet bathroom floor We cut our trip short We had 2 police officers knocking on our door woke us up at 4am with front desk representative Never gave a real reason why they were there I would not stay here I was so happy I had my husband with me This was a very freighting thing to experience

Shane Terracio

I am writing this review at 345 am because that is what time the people above us woke up I don’t think they are doing their morning exercises it is just that there is zero soundproofing While I can’t make out their conversation, I can hear

them talkingIf you don’t mind hearing the people above you, everything else about this place is fine I will never be back, there is no reason to be woken at 345 amLooks like the elevator inspection is overdue as well

Only feedback would be for deep clean of room (dust on bathroom fan, heater) Nice quality bedding and good room size for two Be sure to request room service and restock for coffee supplies (room coffee great)

Quiet location (residential on backside, church to right side) just on the town outskirts, quick drive into city centre Fair size pool (no hot tub)Fantastic breakfast! Lots of options and clean large dining room

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times before and it seems like it is getting better They have done a wonderful job on renovating the lobby and dining area I will definitely use this hotel again

This is an update on this hotel and I guess it includes any Hilton hotel I just tried to make a one night reservation, after trying various websites and finally contacting the actual hotel was informed that there is a 2 night minimum stay on the weekends This does not change my opinion of the hotel but about Hilton in general Guess I’ll be looking at other places to stay which is a shame

Kevin Harvell

We discovered there was blood on the quilt we were sleeping with When we contacted the host, he originally asked us to bring the quilt to the front desk As we’re coming out our room, he had decided to come deal with it personally

My girlfriend tried to show the stain but the host refused to look at it or address it saying “ma’am I don’t need to see it” Then he went into the room next to ours and grabbed a quilt from there to replace our bloodied one I understand it was about 1 am but his attitude was really off-putting and dismissive I would not come back again

My husband and I stayed here for three beautiful nights, and we could not be more pleased Jan and Joey were such generous and friendly hosts, it is so clear how much they love the house and grounds Everywhere you turn is like a visual feast; they have decorated every inch of the property with beautiful and interesting objects

The food was excellent, the company was exquisite, our every need was anticipated Walking through the gardens feels like being in a fairy tale! We will be regulars here, no doubt I cannot wait to go back

Jason Morton

This is by far one of the most interesting places I’ve ever stayed, and run by some of the friendliest people It was a quiet weekend and it felt more like visiting family or friends than lodgingBeautiful grounds attended to by two vigilant pups and an interior that’s a combination art gallery, history museum and library

So good you could spend your entire stay admiring!

Sandy Wilkerson

Our stay at the Causey Mansion was great! The owners Jan and Joey and their sweet little dogs’ Piper and Lucy made us feel at home the moment we arrived The mansion and gardens are beautiful and obviously loved Vast and impressive antique collections but still a warm and comfortable feel

Breakfast was delicious and gluten free as requested thank you Joey!Looking forward to visiting again Lovely place in a very friendly town

Our weekend at Mansion Farm Inn was by far the most relaxing get-a-way we have ever taken The house, outdoor space and all amenities were absolutely perfect From the location you can easily get to multiple beaches, quaint little historic towns and excellent dining

We enjoyed a lot of quiet time at the b&b by the pool, on the porch or in any of the other outdoor spaces Will was a gracious and kind in keeper who made sure we always has everything we needed and had an enjoyable time And Breakfast was DELISH everyday!!! We can’t wait to go back again sometime

Laura Bartolo

We had an excellent recent stay at Mansion Farm Inn The Holly Room is spacious, well appointed with spectacular sunsets The salt-water outdoor pool was a great way to end a day and the grounds around the house and pool are lovely

Because of a commitment we had, we only were able to have the yogurt and fresh fruit which were both delicious and generous; next time we’ll be sure to have the savory breakfast & we look forward to our next stay — thank you, Will, for your gracious hospitality!

Jeffrey Tucker

What a perfect, relaxing, and welcoming retreat!!! Throughout our stay, the owner, Will, was enormously and authentically kind, attentive, flexible, and engaging Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and beyond comfortable Our breakfasts were superbly done each morning

The inn, itself, was very charming and accommodating– including a wonderfully landscaped back yard and incredible outdoor in-ground pool The inn was very close to Lewes, Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, and Cape Henlopen State Park Nearby Milton was a great place for a meal and a walk about town I cannot say enough good things about Will and his fabulous inn My wife and I will return here over and over again in the future What a find and what a treasure!!!!

Clean Spartan Friendly

No hassles Found the place around midnight Check in is through a bullet proof window under the car port Convenient restaurant next door emphasizes flavor over health! Grocery store and many fast food places a short drive away Only fresh fruit is at the grocery store Use it to buy apples or plums to balance off your diet against all the fast food places!

They only had a two bedroom left according to the attendant so I had to pay $95 a night for my room I could have gone elsewhere, but I was too tired to continue driving that night Room was a nice size with a little table with 2 chairs to sit at, and a single arm chair

The room had not been properly cleaned (see the photos), One towel was so stained that it didn’t come out even with heavy bleach (which I could smell) and the ottoman was stained as well When I drew the shower curtain across there was a hand towel draped across the top of it that had been neglected There were black hairs in the tub I guess the room had not been used for a while, because there was a cobweb with a tiny spider on the toilet tank! When I rearranged the position of the table, I realized the rug had not been vacuumed particularly well eitherThe window does not open, so if you prefer fresh air to the stale air conditioned air, you’re out of luck Even on low, the fan for the air conditioner was a bit loud

ask man the owner when he showed me the room before I gave him the cash they only except cash by the way on because he didn’t want to give a refund to me if I didn’t like the room which I thought was odd so I said yes it looks fine there’s something wrong with it is the AC not work he said no no I’m just tired of giving refunds I said OK well is there any bedbugs he said no bugs no bedbugs or any type of any type of creature in here no nothing no bugs no bedbugs exam two kids no bedbugs he saidI have uploaded the photos for y’all to say within 15 minutes of lights off… BOOM bedbugs bedbugs

Dawna Cameron

You can’t make a reservation over the phone You have to pay a 5$ fee for the room key, without a refund The room was disgustingly dirty, and the door barely closed

There was a fly catcher strip in the bathroom So full of dead fries I thought I was going to vomit, mold on the shower curtain Severe water damage under the faucet floor I wasnt brave enough to venture any further and look at the toilet Several car deodorizer hang in random places throughout the room The curtain on the window was held up my thumbtacks, black mold spot on the ceiling And if all this want enough to make you run screaming into the night, I saw a cockroach come out of the TVOMG I have the key back and left with no refund This rating should be a – 100

I have so much to say about this place but I think I should just leave it at this photo of the rabid groundhog that tried to attack me when I attempted to check in also tried to attack another gentleman who was staying there the manager said there was nothing he could do when I asked him to call animal control and within 30 minutes someone ran it over in the parking lot it remained there for at least 8 hours this is an extremely classy place

just bring plenty of hand sanitizer

We stayed May 31 to June 3 during that stay the the toilet had pee stains all over it the white sheets had black makes on then when we checked in , when down stairs and informed the yound man that was working and he gave me a bottle with bleach to use to clean it because housekeeping was not available i think we stayed in room 208 I know its right next to room 207 the door was hard to close and made so much noise u have to push it was your body to close the doorThe reason for both stays is because we wanted the kids to finish the last 2 weeks of school before me move out of state The next stay was June 6-10 , when we checked in room 207 the bed had white stains all over it I went to the front desk to let them know, i was told housekeeping is not available but she can give me a change of sheet absolutely thing was done no apology from management the next day nothing

And to top if off check my credit card today June 11, I see that they charged me for a missing pillow $20 these people are disgusting and I know they did that because I called Choice Hotel and informed the situationI took pics upon entering the room of that I saw on the bed AND I WILL BE POSTING THEM

When I drove up to the hotel I was not wanting to stay here It did not look inviting at all I was in the parking lot looking for another hotel because I knew this place was not somewhere I wanted to stay

I wanted to see how the room looked, so I checked in and they allowed me to check in early To my surprise the room was clean and comfortable The staff was very friendly and polite It was great for a one night stay Thank you for an amazing stay!!!! 🧡🧡

Noah Pehowic

Despite the dingy exterior and lack of signage for the office, the rooms themselves are quite nice for being a budget place Updated and fairly clean; liked the hard vinyl flooring instead of carpet, which traps dirt and bacteria The bathroom was quite clean, too

Only complaints are that the service wasn’t great; the woman at the front desk was not exactly helpful, but alas, it was 9pm when we checked in Also, I was unaware of the $50 incidental fee I had to pay upon check-in despite having paid online, so keep that in mind when booking Might have seen what could’ve been a bed bug, though I’m no entomologistI don’t understand why many complain of the noise; it was quiet for us, and the loudness of other guests isn’t exactly something the staff can control It’s sandwiched between a highway and a main road And the walls are thin, sure — but it’s a budget hotel that was built in the last 50 years or so, what do you expect? Overall, great experience for a budget hotel Would be back if I was in the area again

Amy Thomas

From the outside this hotel looks like a dump It should be $50/night I paid $200! It was not worth the money

The room itself was newly remodeled It smelt like weed when we walked into our non-smoking room The worst part was the noises all night Traffic, people, music Looks like a place for rift raft to hand out Will not be back Staff was pleasant

This hotel is one of the BEST Holiday Inn Express I have been in It’s Very clean! Not a speck of dust, hair or dirt in the rooms (I booked 2 rooms for our stay) The employees are very friendly! We had no issues! The only thing I wish would of been different is a rotating breakfast schedule Both days it was the same items available, but hey, it’s free can’t really complain about that! All in All was a perfect stay! I’d definitely book there again if I was in the area!

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on March 6th The staff was absolutely amazing, but one of the staff members in particular went out of her way to make the stay amazing I was there to referee the Delaware Thunder ice hockey game and after a long drive to the hotel and an even later game I missed breakfast but Jessica made sure I got something and was very accommodating to the needs of the guest

Her hospitality is on point and that takes a lot for me to say since I’m from the hospitality capital Las Vegas She is the main reason I will be back to your hotel very soon if I could give 10 stars I would

Paul Kline

Stayed for 3 nights, and the room was never serviced Had to ask for towels and other toiletries $500 for 3 night stay with no servicing is ridiculous

The beds were very uncomfortable, and I found garbage from a previous customer behind the bed The one comforter had what looked to be blood stains This was not what I’d ever expect from a Holiday Inn Express

This is a rare review, only because my girlfriend and I were able to experience this incredible Victorian home, with zero other guests I pray someday one of you will get to experience a cocktail by the fire, with the candelabra lit atop the grand piano, with Ella Fitzgerald playing in the background Then a candlelight breakfast for 2 by the other fireplace

Dan brought out the eggs Benedict, with the perfect little dash of nutmeg, after a lovely little strawberry parfait It was on par with any $$$ Brunch, and included with the stay I can’t say enough wonderful things about the experience Worth every penny
