Arrived on our day and the check-in went smoothly Harold was our go to guy and he was awesomeHotel room was clean and the hotel was light with customers so it was a quiet night

Harold was excellent on referring us to a local food place other than the touristy ones Great call and thank you HaroldOverall a great stay

$5000 pet fee (cash only)! Was initially told that it was a deposit, but when I asked for clarification was told it was the pet fee That is double what I am used to paying for a pet

We asked for a late checkout to see Avery Island in the morning but were told absolutely no late checkout Despite this we reluctantly went to our room to find that it had not been cleaned At this point we left, but were able to get our pet fee back after much arguing We went across the street to the Ramada They were very accommodating, allowed a late checkout and charge a $25 pet feeI would suggest any hotel in New Iberia rather than La Quinta, and if this is the only option, then buy a coffee and drive to the next town

The hotel was good for sleeping only, but it definitely needs to upgrade the rooms carpets and bathrooms!! Some of the online amenities don’t reflect what is offered once you check in!! The pool is not working, there is no continental breakfast!!The reason it has 2 stars is cause of the front desk staff, they were nice

I liked the layout of the rooms Overall, wasn’t the worst experience but if I can help it I won’t return Both times I’ve stayed I’ve had bad allergy attacks, and the air units/filters were not clean at all

Very filthy actually The mattress on the sleeper sofa was stained 🤮 and the first time staying there my bathroom toilet wasn’t cleaned One of my face towels looked as if someone had scrubbed their dirty shoes with it then half washed it TV remote didn’t work Front desk staff was very nice, though Not a big fan of hotels for this very reason The hallway going to the rooms smelled as well Big red flag I should not have ignored No point in telling management because it would just remain the same

Just don’t come here… I mean if your okay with switching rooms 3 times because they are all gross then go ahead The bathroom toilet seats had piss all over them, the bathroom sink had toothpaste and spit and razor hair all in it

Just gross We were suppose to stay 3 nights but we only stayed one and left early that morning and went to the Holdiay inn instead Just go to the holiday inn y’all! The front desk where nice about it, it wasn’t their fault and we did get a good discount on our ihg app for points But still spend the extra $ and go to holiday inn!

This is one of the best La Quinta properties that I have stayed in the last 10 years since I have been using the hotel chain The property seems new or recently refurbished Every corner of the property is shining

The staff and manager are extremely hands on and responsive to any issues or concerns Totally worth the tariff And the cherry on top is the excellent breakfast that they offer It is not just a coffee/ juice / cereal breakfast but many more options I hope the staff keeps up their attention to detail and the management supports them

The young lady who helped me on Saturday (2/26/22 around 4pm) afternoon was excellent She was under staff had a lot of check ins The hotel was over book

she had to go n clean room Front desk was busy I feel the morning people didn’t make sure that rooms was ready for afternoon Was given a room and it look like the people decided to stay another night for free Morning workers drop the ball for the afternoon shift N left her alone to deal with the mishaps

My husband and I traveled from Texas to the La Quinta Inn Broussard We got in around 9:30 pm

When we got to our room, the light was on, the bed was unmade, and there were towels on the bathroom floor When we went back downstairs, the nice lady at the front desk was apologetic and told us she’d call her general manager and have everything rectified as soon as possible They found us a room shortly and up we went While the bed was made and we had fresh towels, the room hadn’t been cleaned It hadn’t been vacuumed, the sink and shower were dirty, and that toilet! There were feces remnants in the bowl and urine down the front of the toilet and under the seat We were tired and didn’t want to do another room change which would likely mean a hotel change because this was the last “clean” room I called the front desk The nice lady who helped us earlier was very apologetic I told her it was unacceptable, and she told me she’d leave a note for her GM When we checked out the next morning, I asked to speak to the GM While she was apologetic and explained they’re short staffed, it was clear she had bigger fish to fry I thought this whole experience deserved a rate reduction Get it together, La Quinta! I’m guessing we aren’t the only people who’ve experienced this issue No paying customer wants to clean the feces and urine of someone they don’t know It was disgusting!PS Thank you to the accommodating lady at the front desk I’m sorry I don’t know your name

I have been here for over 30 days The cleaning staff is PERFECT Front desk does the best they can

The pool and hot tub are dirty and so is the furniture in the lobby Some of the staff smoke cigarettes at the front door which you basically walk through to get in The breakfast is horrible! This is not a staff issue, but the quality sucks and they have the same three things every other day I don’t see that any of the rules are enforced The pool is open late, and since the people out there have not respect for anyone staying in the hotel, they are loud and obnoxious The family staying above my room sound like they are moving furniture until 3amno lie They have been asked to please keep it down but simply refuse out of ignorance This is by far the worst Marriott I have stayed in

Friendly staff and the rooms have a good layout for extended travel I will say that I was not recognized as an elite member or offered my complimentary water/snack upon arrival This has been an ongoing issue since the pandemic, and is certainly not limited to this location

I did have to notify staff of several issues with my room (broken toilet, burned out bulb, shower curtain rod loose, etc but they were attended to immediatelyAs far as the breakfast goes…like all hotels that had a great spread in the morning pre-pandemic, they’ve cut back heavily and the offerings included cereal, microwaved items in small baggies (gross), juice, yogurt, oatmeal, and some fruit I wish they had a toaster and some bread out It is what it is and I’ve stopped making my hotel choices based on complimentary food offerings, as it’s usually a huge let-downWould I stay here again…sure The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location was good

E Crockett

I stayed in a two bed/bath suite with a family member Both bathrooms had hair on the shower walls My bathroom had long strands of hair on the tile floor

I complained to the front desk and housekeeping I asked not to have the room cleaned since I always clean my rooms with disinfectant wipes and spray I only asked to have garbage emptied and the floors vacuumed When I returned to the room in the evening, I noticed that the garbage was emptied but I still saw long strands of blond hair on the tile floor I spoke with the front desk person again but this time the general manager was there However, all they offered were apologies I will never stay at another Residence Inn again!

I never write reviews but this was one of the most miserable stays we’ve ever experienced The air never got below 78! I know it’s hot outside but that’s no reason for the air to not work right The pool was murky and the keys kept deactivating

Got locked out of the building several times For $170 I expected more out of the stay

Angel Serigne

Far from the interstate The free breakfast had little variety – eggs, yogurt, oatmeal or grits, bagels which could be toasted and bread which could not, coffee, and juice When an employee was there, they were usually on their phone and did not interact with guests

For the Wednesday happy hour, there was wine, cheese and soup The cheese was good Service was the same as breakfast

My first time staying here and we have been to New Iberia several times to visit family I decided to stay here since it was newly remodeled because the other hotels in New Iberia are old and needs remodeling as well The new look is nice and beds are comfortable

They were only doing remodeling on the first floor rooms, so it didn’t impact our stay Our stay was pleasant and the staff members was so friendly Our room was by the elevator and I don’t like to be by the elevator due to noise, but I was surprised it was not noisy The breakfast and coffee was nice as well I definitely will stay again our next time visiting

Michelle Masters

Called to see if we could check in early since we made good timing getting to our destination, I was told no early check in available at that time Checked out the local sites and tried to check in at 3:30pm and was told our room was not ready 2 hours later we finally got into our room

Housekeeping did a rush job on the room as they are short staffed and were behind Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was snippy, rude, and provided the worst customer service I have ever witnessed It seems it wasn’t just a bad day either as her poor attitude continued throughout our whole stayThe hotel is under construction, so you have to walk through demo areas just to get to your room Breakfast is very basic selection and not kept warm properly, and served in a poorly lit room Not a kid friendly hotel as the staff make up rules on just about everything and with the Pool closed there’s nothing for them to do If you are traveling with friends or a group, like we were there is no spots available to sit and visit And don’t even think about asking the lady at the front unless you want a snide, rude comment Apparently you have to be 21 or older to use the weight room according to the rude lady, but no where is that posted and due to her lack of customer service and being informative, this was never shared with us until she decided to yell at my daughter I am so upset I spent my money here Hopefully others will read this review and spend their money elsewhere I know not all Holiday Inn hotels are like this, but this one needs some serious attention

What a beautiful home! I came here for a bridal shower, so I was initially limited to the first floor Still, what a spacious and lovely place! Everything was so clean, beautifully decorated, and wonderful Later on, when cleaning up, the owner came by and chatted with us before she began cleaning up herself

She was so nice, and she let a few of us view the upstairs bridal suite, which was also quite lovely I am unsure of the cost, but I would recommend for sure if you’re looking for a beautiful place for a bridal shower!

Cindy Rogers

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Le Rosier!!! Mrs Barbara is very welcoming and has created a wonderful retreat for the weary traveler The rooms were very comfortable

Clean, bright and cheerful A gift bag of Louisiana treats and welcome letter greeted us as we walked in Coffee and breakfast in the main house (Mrs Dodi is a great cook) started our mornings off right Just a couple blocks from our event venue Shadows on the Teche museum right across the street, Meches Donuts around the corner, Victor’s up main and Bayou Teche snaking it’s way through a town full of sprawling, moss draped oaks made our time there seem magical But the highlight of our time was being in a place with an owner who warmly welcomed our family and made us feel like we were at home Great for business or pleasure Maison Le Rosier is a great place to stay!
