Lovely hotel! Staff was friendly and genuine…front desk printed a paper needed for an interview without a fee or hesitation The room was up to date, smelled fresh, floor was clean, towels were perfect, and the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were fabulous Extra pillows were provided and the mattress was very comfortable

The breakfast choices were outstanding…fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, 3 cereal choices, bagels, oatmeal, waffles, juices, coffee, muffins, coffee, WOW! We didn’t use the pool but looked nice Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at Marriott properties before that were short-staffed They asked us if we would be okay with skipping a day or two of room-cleaning service in exchange for some Marriott points No problem – we understand

But this Oshkosh location simply posts this sign (see attached) and expects you to understand that you need to REQUEST room-cleaning service, or else it won’t happen No reduction in rate, no offer of points, no advance warning through the app, and most importantly, no one at check-in called my attention to the sign and/ or explained that we needed to request the service Was it a big deal to come back to our room at 10:00 pm with a pile of wet towels still on the bathroom floor? No; we survived just fine But that level of service without any recognition or offer of compensation seems less professional than what I’ve come to expect from this brand I’ve been a member of the loyalty program for years, and this is the first time I’ve regretted it

Great staff, however the rooms are really worn down and the wifi had security issues I was unable to connect via my VPN due to an SSL proxy issue I checked into the room and was literally there for 10 minutes before I had to leave due to the wifi problem

As a titanium elite member with over 75 nights last year, this is the first Marriott wifi security issue I’ve had Staff was great and didn’t charge me for the stay Just really disappointed in the condition of the property The rooms need a serious rehab Desk chair was worn through the cushion, the carpet was worn out and the room air conditioner was about 10 years past it’s prime (musty smell coming out of it)The Springhill Suites on the other side of town is brand new with far superior rooms

Had a reservation to stay here setup by my job, when I got there the lady ask for my credit card to bill the room? When I told her it was paid for she paused for literally a minute I asked how can I have a reservation if you didn’t get a credit card 🤔 then she got terribly upset with me! I told the company I work for to never put me in a days inn again This lady doesn’t need this job I believe she was going to double charge for the room! I found a room 6 minutes away at Doubletree the staff was extremely friendly very nice room and pool area

If your in Neenah area and need a room skip right over this place and call Doubletree they know how to take care of customer’s unlike Days inn! My reservation date was 7/23

Coming from someone who worked here for a year, don’t stay here Everything is questionable and done as cheap as possible if at all Guests are not a priority here, it’s all about money and overcharging as much as possible while offering slim to none amenities and mediocre customer service

Hoping to stay here? You’re sized up and judged based on your looks as soon as you walk up to the hotel entrance Random fees will apply Local? Forget it You’re purposely heavily up charged on the actual rate of the day If you are of any different ethnicity or race other than Indian, you are referred to as “those people” and “not good people” behind your back Breakfast is not limited due to “the covid-19”, it’s limited because the manager does not want to spend the money to offer more options Waffles? Might want to think twice about that, as the dispenser is constantly moldy I was even asked to not take it apart to wash it so often as it was “difficult” to put back together Milk is recycled and poured back into the gallon after breakfast hours Yogurt is constantly expired Bread is put out with no gloves Bedbugs? Yep But no worries, a homemade concoction in a lawn sprayer took care of them Only two rooms were professionally treated, 115 and 207 as they were being repeatedly complained about Speaking of, if you complain about anything, you will simply be put on the do not rent list for future reference Linens? Scrubbed with the used soap bars from the rooms that check out Construction workers? You’re “vip” automatically meaning if your room is refreshed at all, you get the towels that have been set aside as too stained There’s not enough room for all that I could share, but I will say spend a little more and go somewhere your business is actually appreciated, you won’t be under surveillance like a criminal, cleanliness/food safety are enforced and where you won’t be gossipped about your entire stay PS: no, I was not fired I quit on my own terms as I no longer wanted to be a part of the circus this hotel is and feel that people deserve to know what really goes on in this place especially if considering staying here

We are staying in a suite overlooking the river It’s the most beautiful room ever with a huge hot tub and fireplace This place is super clean and well cared for

The whole hotel is so cool with a skywalk, a wonderful restaurant inside, and a really nice fitness room There are really old classic pictures throughout the halls that are fun to look at We didn’t swim, but walked past the pool and it looked huge! We loved staying here! Thank you for a great experience!!!

Amy S.

The location of this hotel is nice It’s right along the river and right by all the little downtown shops The lobby is nice

Our room was spacious and clean and you could see the river from our window The windows also open a bit for a breeze This hotel has a pool and hot tub The pool was pretty warm so you didn’t freeze when you got in The hot rub could have been cleaner They either need to get a better filter or hire someone to do maintenance or both There’s about 5 pounds of sand in the bottom of the hot tub There is also a small arcade off of the pool The fitness room is spacious and has quite a few treadmills, a bike, and a couple elliptical The have dumbbells, but they only go up to 25 pounds, and they have a sad corner cable machine with has seen better days There are also some yoga mats and medicine balls All in all, I’d stay here again

Debrra Hanson

We stayed at the Best Western Premier for three nights the weekend of our son’s June wedding The wedding reception was held at the adjacent convention center We had many friends and family from out of town staying at the hotel as well

Everyone’s experience in our group was very positive The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the rooms and arrangements all worked out well The hotel is nicely located, enabling the first-time visitors to the area to enjoy the river front and the downtown by walking My husband and I hosted a breakfast buffet in one of the meeting rooms Sunday morning after the wedding, which worked out very nicely with good food and helpful staff We were all happy with our experience at the hotel and definitely recommend it

It was a good hotel to stay at on a hot day, and the rooms were perfect, for me and my little family, conjoined room for my sister and her little family, enough space and perfectly cleaned! And not to forget to mention Laura, super sweet and welcoming at the front desk !! We love a good customer service! Would definitely come back again!

Nova Lunar-Pertimus

Worst stay in a decade At night, it is in an unlit area of town with nothing good nearby Nothing like the professional photographs, heat was on all night in the middle of summer

I had just fallen asleep when the loud cleaning teenager woke us up Only FULL size beds, so sharing is out of the question NO POOL Breakfast is limited to very stale, cheap food When I complained at the $17200/night charge, they didnt reduce the cost, even after the horrible sleep You hear the highway all night, which is 200 feet from your bed Worst hotel in Oshkosh will bust the bank Do yourself a favor and try something else

Jaime Stoffer

Staff was amazing Special shoutout to Bree who helped me in the morning and knew exactly how to help get my day off to a great start Thank you Bree!!!Breakfast was lovely

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday for two nights in March We adored the house itself, and enjoyed relaxing there, but some things were a little different than expected It appears it’s off the website now, but when we booked it said there was a dessert and drink social hour in the evenings, and while they had their normal keurig/tea and some cookies we expected something different

In addition, when booking it asks if you have dietary restrictions, and my husband is gluten free I am assuming this question is from when they were a b&b (they aren’t now) but we of course hoped that maybe there would be some bread or something that he could have, but no Also, it really bothered me that there was no bathroom door in the belle suite It was such a romantic room with an awesome tub, but felt awkward to only have a shower curtain for a door I would have booked the other suite if I had knownBreakfast is lots of packaged pastry-like items, fruit, toast, yogurt, oatmeal packets I don’t like sweet in the morning so was hoping for some hard boiled eggs or cottage cheese, or cream cheese for the toast, but that’s always the risk with continental! Breakfast is supposedly for two hours but the non-refrigerated stuff sat out for over 24 hours, I am guessing the owners were busy and didn’t want to have to deal with clean up and redoing it the next morningOverall we enjoyed the house a lot (I agree with less floral everything in b&bs!) and it was probably my favorite room we stayed in, outside of the door situation But we felt a little like we were more of a burden for the owners staying there vs welcomed

Spent a night for a valentine’s getaway Check in was easy, greeted with chocolate covered strawberries Was able to go right to room

Room was clean, gift basket of snacks was great Bed was cozy The only downside was that traffic was quite noisy throughout the night Enjoyed eating the breakfast in the living area Kitchen had everything you would need No shortage of coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa Overall a great stay and would highly recommend

I stayed at the Braywood Inn for two weeks in the separate studio space It was bright, well-decorated, well-stocked, modern, and clean Communication was easy and the stay was straightforward to organize

I would recommend the back studio space for longer-term guests or people looking for a quiet and private weekend Many thanks to the Braywood Inn!

Neenah is a wonderful place and this hotel is the perfect location…BUT it is a huge disappoint for a Hilton property We stay in many Hiltons due to service and consistency This is a beautiful property, however it is not kept up compared to similar properties

The rooms are not clean, bathroom cleaning not kept up, curtains failing down in the room with evidence of them being duct taped and elevators are finger printed like the haven’t been cleaned in months This was my second stay, a couple months apart and it was same story again This is an easy fix for this location to be brought up to Hilton standards, so hopefully this review will be helpful in that

Patrick Schommer

Midwestern hospitality personified Many thanks to Tammy for bending over backwards to accommodate my wife and I after our reservation through a third party was screwed up She explained the situation, got us a room anyway, told me how to best clear it up, and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied

She even apologized for our inconvenience that she had nothing to do with Unbelievable customer service (in a great way!)

Staff was incredibly friendly and explained everything really well Check in went very smooth, we arrived to our very clean, fresh room shortly after check in time We went off-site for dinner and drinks and came back to enjoy the ambiance of the room

Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels were provided as well as other amenities One of the cleanest, well stocked hotels we’ve been to Was very quiet, couldn’t hear anything around us or from other rooms Check out was easy as well with a friendly face to see us out There’s a restaurant, pool, golf course, and more right on site so this is a great family or business destination Great job Best Western Bridgewood!

Sandy Prosise

Our son’s wedding took place at the Bridgewood The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful Our room was a king suite which was large, clean and comfortable

The food for every event was amazing and it was nice to have the Ground Round attached so no one had to leave the premises to get food/drink There was also a small ice cream stand in the parking lot for a sweet treat! I would recommend this resort to anyone planning a wedding (Mary was phenomenal) or just a get away stay

Sarah Schumaker

We had reservations for Easter brunch at 10am today The setup was very pretty, and that’s about the only positive thing I can say about our brunch experience We were a party of 6, and the total cost of brunch was 234

00 I would not mind paying that IF the food was good We started with biscuits and gravy I bit into the biscuit and it was FROZEN My daughter took a bite of her Mac and cheese and it was also cold My mother couldn’t even eat the shrimp cocktail sauce due to ridiculous amount of horseradish in it In the brunch description it stated they had a fruit and vegetable display I guess they meant they had a fruit display only if you got there before 10am because it was empty when we were seated at 10 In the description it also stated they had a large homemade dessert selection Next time if you’re trying to pass off desserts as being homemade, you should probably take out the paper dividers and give the desserts a little more time to thaw out I have never been SO disappointed in a brunch before I really wanted to like this place but I can’t believe we just paid so much money and left hungry

Pros: private lake with beach and fun inflatables, quiet, nice wooded sites, clean restrooms and private showers Cons: you have to pay for the showers which we didn’t realize and you need quarters which we didn’t have, we paid $110 for one night and then couldn’t shower, there was no one in the office when we arrived and no wood or ice for sale as shown in the campground map In the morning I called the owner and he did bring some quarters for us but it was less than relaxing rushing to shower before the money ran out

Crystal Ann

This was our first time to stay here for AirVenture week The staff was friendly and the campground is nice and clean The basic cabin was modest but fulfilled our needs

The restrooms and showers were well maintained and if there was a problem with the showers, staff was quick to remedy it The showers do require quarters Only complaint is that the SOS tent bar across the street blared their loud music till midnight so we were unable to fall asleep till after they shut down

Jaime Williams

Very good camping Excellent price Nice and peaceful

Decent amount of space per site No loud music and/or belligerent people Well kept grounds Impressive new swimming pond with fun looking aqua floats Very good staff The guy in charge is ones awesome guy Most definitely will be top choice for my family when in the area in the futureThank you so much Sleepy Hollow Farm

Sure wish they’d reinvest in the place I suppose it’s a good thing that they’re still around after covid but check it out and know what you’re getting before you go there Your experience may be ok but there were problems with the electrical power during the 2021 AirVenture week

Their “grid” seemed unable to support the load from the number of campers and RVs hooked up to it Amps kept falling off Sometimes we could get one AC unit to work for a while then it would quit Not great when the week starts out hot & humid and you’re expecting to get the electricity you’re paying for Can’t say for sure but our other AC unit seemed to work fine before we stayed there but wouldn’t even start up when we tried it alone while we were there Did the voltage and amp fluctuation fry it? Don’t know but I do know we’ve got a repair bill on the horizonProbably wouldn’t have even written this review if they would have just apologized or offered a partial refund or even offered to move usWe expect to be back to AirVenture but we’ve been to Circle R for the last time Hopefully the owners take these comments in the spirit with which they’re offered so they can make a few important improvements for the future If they do it’ll likely pay off for them

Carolyn Bessler

Basic campground Clean, very nice hosts We were only there for a night and it was just 2 adults, so fine for us

We we’re lucky as the big Air Show was getting ready to start, but she did find us a spot Looked like they had a shuttle for Oshgosh Air Show, so that is something to keep in mind if you are interested Need to make your reservation WAY ahead!!

John E

Has wifi, 17mbps down, 007mbs up

useless This was typical, not a flukeGot upgraded to a 30 amp slot, only to find it completely useless as it often was <100 volts Good way to burn up an ac compressor Again not a fluke, everyone I talked to had the same problemCampground was ~half full, during the EAA showfor a reasonLast bus from the show was 9pm, even though the lady at checkin said they would be running later 9 other people were stuck there with us They had major events going until 10Went to dump the tanks on the way outthe dump was full to the top Even the fresh water hose leakedI wouldn't go into the bathroom if my life depended on itGreat location Maybe someone that cares will buy it someday, and I'll try it again Until thenI'll stay anywhere else, no matter how far away

Booked at this location due to a EAA visit with my family and this location had a pool My kids wanted to pool Front desk clerk at checking even placed us next to it

At 730 pm we took the kids to the pool That lasted about 30 minutes until a bunch of people from a wedding party came in with boxes of beers and loud boom box Ultimately due to this and the amount of people, forced my family from the pool and hot tub I went to front desk and asked if they allowed this and was told on weekend (Friday Night) and due to wedding, yes And that she was sorry We Ultimately had to move our room due to noisePool rules posted even state no alcohol allowed sad paying families can’t use the amenities paid for and hotel won’t enforce their own rules at allThis place would have been a good enjoyable family trip

Jeannie Franke

I have no experience dealing with staff inside However I attended a roof top gathering Very spacious

thinking this could be a great place for a party of a few hundred esp during the EAA to watch the airshow Very clean Rooftop bar was attended by great staff Exceptionally convenient for a wheel chair bound person i think there is an elevator bathrooms just right inside the door Shade is zero unless it is provided by sun rotation Sun did move in correct direction to get 5 tables out of the sun Note gathering was a paid event and was not inexpensive

Connor Warren

Amenities are removed every time I stay here The “business center” has been eliminated, replaced by a tablet in the lobbyThe $10/day food credit isn’t enough to even get breakfast – what a joke! The other Hilton benefits are weakened too

My fellow Diamond status traveler wasn’t offered water bottles on check-in

The whirlpool was broke in our room, staff didn’t want to fix, staff was very unfriendly, breakfast is now a joke you get it in a paper bag and have very limited options from what they tell you in checking in and website Expressed concerns and front staff didn’t care You do not get rooms cleaned because of covid, but as soon as you check out they are in your room cleaning

Only reason this place still in business is because of wedding hall Do not recommend it to anyone

Kirk Jackson (Nashville Typewriter)

Staff is friendly, parking was easy, and the rooms seemed pretty decentThey REALLY need a good handyman, though I was pretty excited to get a nice corner room with kitchenette and a HOT TUB IN THE LIVING ROOM!I had a few drinks, watched some Netflix, and decided to try out the jacuzzi

Filled it up, got in, andThe thing didn’t work I didn’t even bathe, I just got out and made another drinkThere was nothing crazily bad there, just little things like the entrance door to the lobby needs to be adjusted so it doesn’t slam into the luggage cart you’re trying to bring in There was hardly any cookware in the room, that made cooking anything outside of a can of soup kinda impossibleIce machine was broken on my floor the entirety of my 10 day stay, another bummer They have a guest laundry, which is cool, but takes quarters Guess what they DON’T have?A change machineNone of this stuff was a huge deal, just minor inconveniences Overall I’d recommend it

Craig ROESLER

Very nice, newly updated hotel The customer service at check-in was perfect The room was very clean and smelled new

The complimentary breakfast was pretty good and some of the hot items changed from day to day The pool area is pretty decent and would be great for families with small children I would gladly stay here again

We booked this hotel for the pool The pool area was nice and big, plenty of seating, and stock of pool towels The water was actually warm

We were pleasantly suprised and even agreed that this one of the warmer pools we’ve been in for hotels Even the big pool was warm enough to walk into without hesitating at each step The only thing that needs to be figured out is the room temp, not the pool, but actual room temp We realized that while the pools themselves were warm, the room wasn’t all that warm once in the pools That was causing us to be a bit on the cold side We did notice a thermostat control was taken off the wall so not sure if that was done to prevent guests from changing the temp, or if there is no longer temp control in that room The room feels warm when you first walk in but you don’t realize it’s colder until actually in the pool Even other adults where down to their necks in the water because as soon as they stood up they felt the chill Overall great pool areaRooms are spacious! We had 2 queen beds with a sofa The beds and pillow are so, so comfortable!! Slept amazing! With kids we bring along a lot of random items beyond just the normal suitcase so the extra space in the room was great The lights between the bed even have a reading light that is bendable, which is great to keep low light on without disturbing others The a/c and heat works amazing, we turned up heat before heading to pool but then turned on a/c for better sleep at night Curtains block out so much light for night it was nearly pitch black We did have to put towels at the entry door though as there is a large gap there letting a lot of light in We’ve seen this once before in another hotel, maybe it’s a Comfort Suites standard Not sure, but easy to fix with towels Spacious closet with iron and ironing board Noise level was great Heard voices or kids running during the day but at night we didn’t hear any noise at all Such a treat when we can sleep well, not all hotels have good sound barriersOn the main floor there is a laundry room, business center, fitness room, eating area for breakfast and social events, and a new game room which has pool table, arcade games, lottery, and some other stuffBreakfast was all prepackaged items like yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, etc Still during covid so understandable April 2022There is a large mirror in the room that my 1 year old kept yanking on Thought it was going to fall but looks like safety locks are at the top which is good Taking a closer look, the bottom was secured by some sticky putty or something, clearly it is no longer sticking Needs to be replaced with something more permanent The bathroom shower curtain rod is not installed well at all I can fit my fingers between the wall and the plates of the rod that should be flush against the wall Not safe at all! It’s going to come down soon Painting is chipping on the wall behind the door by the tub I can see previous paint colors The toliet is about to cause leaks to floor below The silicone was not put on correctly and is sealing pee literally into the silicone so no matter how much housekeeping sanitizies the toliet it won’t clean up Not only is it nasty to look at (dark yellow/brown along bottom of toliet) but it’s going to cause damage to floor below The bolts securing the toliet to the floor are not tight so the toliet shifts with minimal effort My husband is a maintenance manager for 3 hotels back home so he knows what is easily fixable and avoidable through preventative maintenance versus what is going to cause some serious damage soon I hope they put this room out of service for now and work to correct the issues They then also need to check other rooms for these same crucial concerns (shower rod, silicone/bolts at toliet) before a lawsuit comes or a flood occurs We left a list in the room and notified the front desk on the way out

Where do I start?!? The Kalbus Campground was absolutely incredible My friend and I booked plans last minute on a “first” (renting an RV and camping together) and our expectations were blown out of the water The site was spacious, clean, scenic (right on the water), and the facilities and services were top notch

John, the site manager, was wonderful: responsive, informative, helpful, and kind The location was also wonderful – sandwiched between Oshkosh and Fond du Lac, but secluded enough to feel “off the grid”, and surrounded by bikeable side streets and roads We will definitely be back as Kalbus made for an incredibly memorable experience

This ill maintained campground is accompanied by a staff that is centrally focused on one thing Profit This organization has every intent to nickel and dime you for everything, from pet fees to guests, to extremely expensive dump services and to the rates as well being completely out of line with the local area

The owners claim to have “high standards” for entry into their park that are really just a way of them reserving their sites for the most judgmental and bitterly reclusive guests they can They aren’t interested in developing a community of inclusiveness and fun, they simply want your money Want to take a day out on Winnebago? Prepare to pay fees EVERY time you drop in This campground will turn you away unless you are in a STOCK CLASS A Motorhome NO UNIQUE RIGS ALLOWED You are expected to blend in, shut up, and open up your checkbook When businesses are run on models that are centered around vanity, exclusiveness, and exorbitant price gouging don’t be surprised when people start realizing it We hope this review will give you the heads up you need to AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

Love the camp ground itself, but rigid new regulations were onerous The camp ground has a new owner is changing things which make it less accessible for family camping The on- ground manager tried his best to be amenable to our needs, so we don’t fault him, but they changed the rules after we made our reservations and paid over half our fees as a down payment

They knew we had a tent and a pop-up camper along with a screen tent when we registered in March 2021 and then told us we couldn’t have a the tents due to new rules He relented when we complained politely but made us set everything up on one of the two sites we had paid for which made no sense at all but we did it and put our campfire and a car in the other one Then he said his boss had driven through on Friday night and wasn’t happy with the tents and our set up and would be stopping by to “talk” to us on Saturday It seemed like harassment to us although that never happened after we tried our best to satisfy the instructions These sites we like and have camped on before week be made into “premier sites” and unavailable to normal family camping in the future We will not return our recommend this place in the future We are sad about these circumstances
