We stayed the weekend of February 19, 2022 for a family wedding, we had a block of rooms at a very reasonable rate The front staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and well stocked

We had the breakfast buffet both mornings excellent service and variety I wanted to especially mention April and the house keeping staff that went above and beyond to make our stay extra special!

Val Jones

Very comfortable hotel! Everything was clean and welcoming There are all the amenities you typically find in the room including a fridge There is no microwave but they do have both breakfast and dinner available in the hotel

But the best part The bed! When I laid down I was blown away by the comfort immediately! The pillows the mattress the sheets Everything felt like heaven! That alone was worth 5 stars! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming too!

Jenine Badger

Overall very nice place We stayed in one of the suites on the corner with a balcony which I would highly recommend Very spacious and there is a mini fridge and a microwave

There are a few different sitting areas inside as well as one outside on the balcony The buffet breakfast at the restaurant is delicious and very reasonably priced We ordered room service for breakfast which was also very good All of the staff is super friendly and helpful There was only one thing that we were disappointed in Which was the cleanliness of our room For the most part it was clean but it appeared that the mirror and shower doors in the bathroom as well as the sliding glass door leading out to the balcony looked like they were cleaned with a very dirty cloth and the table next to the couch wasn’t cleaned from the previous people because you could see rings from the their drinks All in all the room was very nice i think everyone is aware how under staffed everyone is no matter where you go So I am not going to let that be the deal breaker There are far too many great things about this hotel I would definitely go back and I would recommend this hotel if you’re in the Melbourne area

Lovely hotel by the beach Careful getting in the water – there’s a coral shelf about 2-3 meters out on which I bruised my shinPros:LocationBeds and bedding were comfortableLots of nearby locally owned shops and diningThere was live music on Friday by the pool area toward the beachQuiet – there was a softball tournament when we visited, so it was packed, but we heard nothing when in our roomCons:The toilets are weirdly difficult to flush and take several flushes to completely vacateThe water pressure is abysmalWe discovered a big bug in our room the day we checked out, but their response was very professional

They immediately sent a request to spray the rooms and told the housekeepers We did not hold this against them Florida is mini Australia when it comes to bugsOverall, we liked it We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the live music while watching the waves We played on boogie boards They have people who offer lessons, and you can rent an umbrella and chairs for the beach if you want One star docked for the toilet issue (completely unnecessary and strange) and the water pressureThe picture is the view from just outside our room

The Crown Plaza was by far the best Hotel we have stayed at on the Space Coast From the check-in to the house keeping staff, everyone was more than happy to assist with the wants and needs of our family The room, double queen beds, was exceptionally clean, well stocked with towels and extra pillows, toiletries, and coffee

The only things our room was lacking were a microwave and personal safe We were more than pleased with this location and highly recommend everyone stay there and enjoy it all

Jeri-Lee V Real Estate

Excellent customer service! The beach was beautiful and not very crowded The restaurant was wonderful, rooms were modern and clean Public restrooms were very clean and convenient

Large, lovely lobby We were only able to stay one day here after our cruise, but we will return for a longer stay Shuttle service to MLB airport was very convenient with very friendly driver Great little coffee shop in the lobby serves Starbucks

This was a very pleasant stay Hampton Inn has been slipping, so I was a little hesitant to book it We are Diamond Members and used to frequent them often, but overall the quality has declined

I am happy to say though, that this was an excellent stay First off, the staff was friendly, helpful and engaging The hotel room was clean and the beds were comfortable The only complaint I have was the room had a musky smell, but as long as you kept the air on cold it wasn’t a problem The dining area was clean and well stocked and the exterior parking area was also clean and tidy We will be happy to stay again when we are in this area

Danielle Exceus

I stayed for 1 night for a quick trip to Melbourne I was able to check in a few hours early because there was already a room available Although I appreciated that, I was surprised at the staff attire

I’ve stayed at Hampton Inns before and love the professional appearance This was not the case Breakfast area was clean Standard hotel breakfast Rooms were standard decor Bathroom was super clean! Lots of towels! Linens and bedding were clean and comfy Inside lamp shade had brown stains inside The phone had no cord connecting it, so there was no way to get a dial tone

Deb -she.her- Cwynar Miller (Precisely Yourself)

Jayne was awesome at front deskDaytime woman staff gave us grief for asking for water (we’re Hilton Grand Vaca owners and Hilton Diamond members and I’ve never experienced that at other properties)Trash overflowing from entryway garbage bin and strewn about entry of hotel including a water bottle that sat there for 3 days, bottle caps, dirty napkins and butts

Bathroom shelves were falling off the wallsThey closed breakfast early by 5 minutesJuice spilled on floor remained there for 3 daysAsked for more towels, never delivered, had to ask againBed uncomfortable compared to what we’ve experienced at other Hampton InnsHI is our first go-to typically because of the standard you can expect This was a subpar managed locationRoom carpet needs replacingAgain, Jayne night time clerk was great and a young black gentleman also was very helpful and polite Appreciated them both!

getawayReview of Seashell Suites ResortReviewed 2 days ago via mobileWe have stayed in this area before for longer periods of time, renting properties However, we were lucky enough to be able to book a last-minute little getaway to this resort

It is very clean, very well decorated, very well-maintained The beach is extremely private They keep goodies and coffee for the guests to grab for some extra snacks The pool area is really nice, and there is a nice little tiki hut with stools that overlooks the beach for those who don’t want to get too sandyThe people who run it seem very accommodating and helpful My only little negative was that 1/2 of one of one of the mattresses was very soft, while the other half of one of the beds was nice and firmOne comment , and this is just coming from a fellow business person I saw that there were many pictures of donald trump in the office, almost a shrine I personally like to keep politics out of business In my business i want everybody to feel welcomed and not have to think about politics But that is just meOther than that, a lovely relaxing time

At the end of a month-long stay at SSR, we did something we rarely do: booked the same month for the following year It wasn’t that tough a decision1

Located on a stretch of secluded beach, the resort has a wonderful “Old Florida” vibe The two bedroom, one bath apartments are “beachy”: tile floors, comfy furniture, good beds, well-equipped kitchens Website photos are spot-on!2 Led by owner Wendel, the staff–Flor, Lillian, and Carol–meticulously maintain the property The paint’s fresh and colorful, landscaping is impeccable, everything’s clean, and every issue is addressed immediately When we had a small glitch with our air conditioner, a repairman remedied it as soon as Wendel learned about it3 There’s a real sense of community among the guests Because of its small size, there’s an intimacy that we seldom encounter in larger resorts Our dog Mo made friends with everyone, including other four-legged visitors4 Guests are welcome to no-charge commercial grade washers and dryers, fridges and freezers full of snacks and beverages, a barbecue area with four gas grills and tables, and plenty of beach-side seating We even caught a couple of SpaceX launches from the beach5 Outdoor activities: I’m a cyclist and the stretch of A1A that SSR sits on is perfect for flat-land riding Sebastian Inlet State Park and Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, the nation’s first, are close by I’m not a fisherman, but other guests did plenty of fishing from the beach6 As city dwellers, we don’t spend much time driving That said, there are plenty of excellent restaurants within a half-hour of SSR One of our favorites: El Ambia Cubano in Melbourne

Lovely B&B, Not a Top LocationPort d’Hiver is very nice—and very expensive For the price you should expect a lot and, in most cases, they meet expectations The public rooms are very nice

Our suite was quite lovely The grounds and pools are all well maintained Staff is uniformly pleasant and helpfulMy main quibble would be with the food and the location Our suite had a view of the ocean—sort of There are palm trees and electric lines and a busy road and a beach parking lot between our room, the closest to the ocean, and the water The balcony off our suite should be nice, but it’s not a pleasant place to sit and enjoy with all that stuff in your faceAs for the food, it is generally good But a little variety would be appreciated The late afternoon happy hour consisted of the exact same cheese/crackers/hummus/vegetable slices every day Breakfasts always seemed to be some kind of egg casserole or quiche or some overly sweet and soft French toast or similarAgain, everything was very nice I just have trouble justifying the price for the product

We had a wonderful our visit was this past weekend! Port d’ Hiver is something very special! The Dianne room was more than we expected The view was amazing The music playing in the room was a wonderful touch

The drinks, ice, and delicious cookies were a welcomed treat The delectable breakfast on our balcony allowed for more relaxation in the morning The beach supplies were appreciated and used to the fullest The landscaping created a beautiful view no matter where you looked! Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful We have stayed at many B&B’s on the east coast and this is by far the most impressive!Thank you for giving my husband and I the perfect weekend that was need to disconnect from the crazy real world and reconnect with each other!!We will be back!

Katrice Lenell

Perfect place for couples! We went for the weekend of Valentine’s Day Everything was perfect The wine hour and gourmet breakfast were amazing

The grounds are beautiful The staff were super nice and accommodating Turn down service in the evenings with a sweet treat All the little luxurious touches really make this place top notch We are already planning a return trip!

Had such a great time here even though we weren’t staying at the resort A friend has a home in Sebastian and we love to stop by for the drinks, food, ambiance, and friendly service Adam was friendly, professional and attentive to each customer, even as it started to get busier

I had the Asian Tuna Nachos, which were phenomenal I also ordered a house salad to round out the meal, and it was delightful The live music was a great touch and easy to sing along with

Melissa Shinder

The food and service were great! The tuna nachos were especially delicious The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the cocktails were incredibly lacking in alcohol and tasted like pure juice Brought it to the attention of the waitress who didn’t really offer any solution

So we ended up ordering shots and using our drinks as chasers 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will be back for the food, but will drink elsewhere!

Nicky P

Currently staying here for our anniversary, staying in the marina view room When we walked into our room we were amazed with what we walked into, a freshly beautifully remodeled room with amazing views!!! The room was super clean and everyone has been so nice and inviting Lots to do to keep you busy here on the property

Last night hung out at the sandbar and listened to the live music I love being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live music and look at the amazing views of the marina Will be back for sure

This place has been visited by my family for years (Like 40, lol)Great stuff to do; pool, shuffle board, tennis court, corn hole, board games to check out Nice 2 bed 1 bath apartments with full kitchens (minus a dishwasher)You can rent a little boat (once their docks are finished)

Great beach area along the river to relax and a great covered deck area right next to that for Oyster Bay guests onlySeveral great local bars and restaurants within a few blocks

Joe

Never in my life have I ever seen such a rude staff Their boat dock is under repair, so we brought our own boat We called ahead and they said there was plenty of parking

When we got there from 10 hours away, a girl named Pam told us not only could we not park there, but we couldn’t even take 5 minutes to rinse the salt water off our boat, which will cause serious corrosion and the paint to peel When I asked her where I could rinse my boat off, she told us, quote, “I’m the general manager and I have important things to do and do not have time to help you, plus I don’t care” Can you believe this??????? Stay away until she is fired and someone who has customer service is brought in We are owners of the time share for crying out loud, not tenants in an apartment building!

Joe z

So i have been coming here for 30 yrs My father and step father both have worked here My step dad worked the boat dock back in the early 90s when it use to exist on the other side of captain Hirams

This hotel has housed my whole family over the years, from my sister when she came back from basic training to myself when i returned home from Afghanistan and it has not disappointed me on this trip at all I hope the owners know that they have customers that have literally grown up using this hotel and have families continue to use it because of the respect they treated their staff with I learned to swim in this hotels pool and now im teaching my daughter to do the same 30 years later!

Taylor, Bari and team deserve 100 starts for this review From day #1 service have been AMAZING Great communication, dedication and accommodations for us, the couple and all of my guest

We had staying at the hotel in the room block approximately the 90% of my guest and everyone loved the hotel, customer service, staff and the wedding The wedding was amazing, the decor, logistic, food and staff during the ceremony, cocktail and reception Everything was so nice and clean, no words to describe how happy we are Definitely I will be back to stay more often with my family and recommend the hotel and staff for futures events Again, Taylor, Bari and team are the best ones in the industry and deserve the best of the luck Love them and the hotel 💗

Incredible hotel Clean and well kept? Friendly staff and beautiful location We couldn’t love it more

So disappointed that we only had one nightEvery staff member was friendly and greeted you as you passed The pool area was kept so clean and the whole building smelled fresh and clean Breakfast was also great Bar staff in and out were prompt, friendly and knowledgeable Made a point to know all of my kidsMy only tiny complaint was that there were A LOT of people in the pool who were local and I know didn’t have rooms Made it a bit crowded and changed the atmosphere a littleOverall we can’t wait to be back

C. Long

According to my husband, both-bars close way too early-like 1100 The rooms, hotel lobby ambiance and cleanliness exceeded my expectations

The pool setting and cleanliness were outstandingThe hotel/front desk management were cheerful and helpful I would ask that if rooms are not cleaned daily to provide extra towels and washcloths When I am traveling I would like my room to be cleaned, beds made complete with clean towels I do not think that is too much to ask

Extremely clean, well maintained property with excellent customer service and very reasonable prices Inside and out, this is a very nice hotel The breakfast buffet had a lot of offerings for different tastes and changed every day

10 out of 10 on my scale They also have a fitness room and outdoor pool, which were both well kept Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve been to dozens of hotels over the years

Teyana Joy Farley

If you visit for a relaxing, quiet stay, this hotel is not for you It is excessively loud – especially in the mornings when housekeeping sells their vacuum and other cleaning supplies against the walls of neighboring rooms They also yell to each other through the halls

One can hear everything going on throughout the entire floor Breakfast quality was low, we all know it’s microwave eggs and sausage/bacon, but it was still lumpy and/or soggy compared to other hotels within the brand Good location right off I-95 and about 20 minutes to the beach Has a pool and hot tub, which were small, but decent The property has been recently updated which is nice!

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield inn, but it would have been better with just a few minor attention to detailMy room was clean and well-kept There was a tiny problem with the room and I’ll mention that below

But overall, I would rate the room pretty highI know that the pandemic has changed a lot of things, but I still expect the room to be serviced They don’t do that anymore It’s not a question of calling for service, they just assume that they don’t need to do itI asked the front desk to have someone go and clean the picture on the wall in my room It had something splashed on it and it really was a simple job to get that cleaned up They didn’t do that, instead they did a standard room cleaning So, whatever was splashed on the decorative art in my room to stay there for the entire visitThen later in the week, I asked to have my room cleaned and they said they would do that But no one ever showed up By that point I was pretty tired and there was no point in cleaning it the next day I was approaching the end of my visitThe othet thing I didn’t like was that my toilet ran constantly I did ask them to come and fix it, and they did that When they did that the toilet stopped Flushing properly By that point I was too frustrated to call it out againThe breakfast was a pretty standard Fairfield Inn breakfast There were scrambled eggs, there was a cheese omelette, sausage, bacon, oatmeal toast, muffins, juices, milk and cereal Later in the week they had breakfast sandwiches that you can microwave They also had waffles that you could stick in the toaster and warm up All in all, it was an okay breakfast I had omelette bacon and sausage everyday I also had a bit of the waffle each morning, too The best thing I can say about hotel breakfasts is that they’ll doI pointed out some rather rough spots with this hotel stay But the bottom line is I would probably stay there again I would be very clear about my expectations and expect that they live up to them But, other than that, there’s not much that I wanted but did not get from this hotel stayUnfortunately no photos this trip If I go back to this hotel, I’ll get photos for the review and update it then

I called and spoke with Laura on the phone to book rooms for the company I work for She was super pleasant to speak with and made our reservations quickly She sent me everything I needed via email with no wait! I find this type of service to be few and far between when it comes to booking hotels lately

So thank you so much Laura! PS: THEY HAVE BREAKFAST!

I don’t know why this property is rated two star Our experience was way beyond that ranking The property is very clean with a lobby that makes a good first impression

The staff are still seemingly following strict cleaning protocols Our room was also very clean with “interesting” square bed pillows They were comfy and we both has great night’s sleep The hotel’s breakfast is goodstandard hot bar fare Not wild about their brand of coffee machine Stuff like that is just me being picky I would stay at this property again

Rooms were nice and clean Staff was ok, friendly and helpful Could smile a bit more though

Breakfast was very light Bacon was paper thin and small Ice maker on our floor broken Second elevator broken Had Roku tv in room with no instructions and front desk did not know how to operate I figured out myself The property was nice just needs a bit more attention from management Would i stay there again, yes, but concerned property may not be maintained for my next stay

Overall very nice place You can get some food and drinks but it’s not a full restaurant or full bar They have a nice pool, a gym, and very nice courtyard area

They have a grill which you can use with a table beside it to eat at if you like The hotel is super close to the beach and about 25 minutes from the Melbourne Zoo Dog friendly The staff is helpful and amazing We always have a great stay here

Charlie Ludwig

We found the hotel and our room very clean The beds have firm mattresses The coffee maker in our room did not work so I didn’t get my hit of caffeine first thing in the mornings

The hotel has a Bistro but we opted for meals at a couple of the many eateries that line the street that the hotel is on Check in/out is quick & simple We had a quiet, peaceful stay at the Courtyard Inn in West Melbourne Fl

Regina Rucker

The two queen bed room was very dated and dirty Buyer beware when you have to ask for cleaning services Walls are paper thin and lots of noise

My room had an unnecessary balcony when the 3rd floor view was the parking lot and an extremely ugly industrial rooftop The owners should plant palm trees and foliage to camouflage the ugly view on the west side of the property Best things about the hotel were the friendly staff and the updated lobby Unfortunately, I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this property

This place is amazing! The views (even with the partial view), staff, price, and cleanliness made this one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in Florida Location is perfect for seeing a lot of really cool wildlife – we saw sea turtles and dolphins daily Thank you Mark and Stephanie for running this place seamlessly! Will definitely be staying again

Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds Huge TV Breakfast was good and staff were super friendly

Probably the best, quick overnight stay I have had I was surprised to see a gym and a nice one at that It just needs a hot tub in order to be above and beyond all rivals, but it is an outstanding value nonetheless Still, I would absolutely stay again I highly recommend this hotel to anyone

Sunday 1st May 2022 at 08:45 am(!): This is the worst „breakfast“ I have ever seen in a hotel

It’s a cheekiness („Breakfast served till 10am“) No bread except a blank bagel, no jam, no cheese…Only this available, what you can see on my pictures It looked very terribleWe slept well the overnight and the man on the reception on 30042022 was very very friendly!Overall I definitely can not recommend this hotel, this breakfast is really a shame! Awful that we payed for thisWe won’t stay in a Hyatt again

I love this hotel, from the front desk receptionist, to the security, and the room that I stayed in everything was almost perfect to the tee! Cleanest in a shower corner is why I’m down one star, but still compared to the rest of Melbourne this was in my comparison the best hotel heck maybe I was just imagining things the hotel was so clean and it was late for me Keep going Hyatt hotel!

Stayed for one night just passing through:Room was a queen bed, decent mattress and blankets, (I understand can’t please everyone) but feather pillows are not my type Bathroom was good, shower was nice for being 6,1 My main negative experience about our stay was, my wife and I had zero reception inside the hotel

We had a very good experience Brian was a very good host at the front desk The view is amazing when you walk through the door of the room

Room is a little dated but spacious Housekeeping was awesome, always good to return to a clean room, bed made and clean towels It would have been nice to have the pool heated in the cool weather Thank you

Melissa D

Very beautiful location! Sunrise was amazing Awesome location on the beach and on the quiet side I would say this hotel is not meant for children

I would stay somewhere else next time with the family The pool was not heated and it was definitely on the cool side Also seemed like housekeeping did not want to work Our room did not get cleaned one time They asked if we wanted it cleaned one day and they never came back the rest of time we were there (for 3 nights) We asked if they would come back in an hour and never saw them again We were gone for 2 full days and the room was never touched I also was with a couple on the elevator and they said their room was cleaned every day So just make sure you ask for housekeeping Just thought it was on the pricey side and not the best service

We’ve been staying here off and on since our honeymoon 26 years ago We just stayed a few days last week and it was by far the best stay we’ve ever had The front desk experiment was amazing and the gentleman that helped us was so friendly and kind

The breakfast was the BEST, food was awesome and the service was so great The food at the tiki bar was amazing! We especially loved the cheeseburgers and the bar staff was incredible The room was so clean and sheets and towels so soft We stayed on floor 15 in the corner unit and it was great to have the balcony that wrapped around I know the hotel is short staffed, but everyone was so nice and kind and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
