I stayed here for a weekend with my best friends and we had a great time! I contacted Veronica in Guest Relations and she and her team were truly amazing! She exceeded our expectations and left us with the best note upon our arrivalThe pool was great! It was hard to get service but walking over to the bar wasn’t too bad The food and drinks were good

Every staff we encountered were friendly and helpfulThe tequila drink at the restaurant in the main lobby was so good I’m thinking of making another trip there soon!Overall it was my 2nd visit to this hotel and I loved our stay once again!

It was Ok, definitely did not feel luxuriousOur check in was easy, room was somewhat clean We got the room with possibly the worst view and our balcony was covered with dust and debris

We couldn’t even put our wet clothes out there much less sit, we could literally hop over on to another roof I didn’t bother to ask for a change, my kids were tired and we just wanted to go to the pool Pool service was nice, we found seats quick although it was very full We did the boat ride, it was $5 a person for a 10 min ride, the person driving the boat didn’t really talk to us, he just confirmed they had black swans when my kid pointed it out It’s not worth itThe bed was comfy, tubs were nice I wouldn’t pay as much as I did to stay here again

Quick SummaryMagnificent amenities (pool, arcade, gym, golf, views) However, pretty mediocre roomsRoom- 2 starsThe check-in was a mess, but expected as it was the first weekend of Coachella We got unlucky on our first room where we found mascara on the bedsheets and gum on the bathroom floor

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get moved for the night as they said the hotel was fully booked and housekeeping was basically gone for the nightAmenities- 5 starsThe property is magnificent The main building was grand and even had a boat in the lobby that serves as a taxi throughout the waterways of the property The gym was quite large for a resort There was an 18 hole putting course and also a well landscaped golf course on the property In addition, there were 3 pools and a large arcade with a mini bowling alley You really cannot be bored here Excellent stay for families, groups, couples, anyoneBottom LineThe views and amenities are spectacular and warrant the 4-stars given to the JW Marriott However, the rooms failed to meet expectations

My husband come to Marriott Shadow Ridge every summer Sometimes we stay the Enclaves and sometimes we stay in the Villages There are very different styles

My husbandand I are still here at the resort and definitely enjoying our time The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous and the staff is excellent I had a lot of requirements for our Villa I told the person I spoke to , that they probably won’t be able to accommodate all of the requests, so I told them to do the best that they can I also told them the most important of our requests I don’t know the persons name that I spoke to Anyway, to our surprise they met every one of our requests, amazing We had a few issues, and normally I would deduct a star for that The reason that I didn’t is because Duane, who is an Assistant Manager of a department, really came through I don’t know his exact title, but as I said he came through and he corrected the problem as soon as he got to the opportunity to I really love all the pools and the various activities My husband and I don’t have any children, but they are plenty of activities for both adults and children Marriott Shadow Ridge is definitely one of our favorite properties We are still enjoying our stay I’m hoping the General Manager sees my review because I think the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate and as I said the grounds are gorgeous I’m having a good time with my husband I’m glad to see my husband having a good time because he takes care of me just about 24/7 We just also found out while we are here that he is nominated to be Vice President of a major non-for profit, which is a volunteer position Even though this is a volunteer position this is such a big deal and a great honor Now, we are also celebrating, we’re having a great time and we can’t wait to return to Marriott Shadow Ridge

Very nice property but incompetent personnel We arrived late evening and our room wasn’t ready, bed wasn’t made and some used towels were left in the room At the check out they asked us to pay additional $600 which wasn’t applicable only after manager intervention it has been cleared up

Our villa was great and equipped with everything you need at vacation Nice pools and reasonable bar selection

Abbeba Preston-Richards

Be aware that the pictures and wording on the website are deceiving The King room is just the size of a small dorm room There is no way more than 2 people would be comfortable in the small space, although it says can sleep 4! We paid top dollar for a 2 night stay, believing that we were paying for the rooms shown on the website but got duped

We checked out a night early because it was like we were on top of one another If you want to be comfortable, make sure you are booking a villa room, not the king room Once booked the staff and the property will not make any changes to your room

This place has really nice grounds, but I would definitely not consider it 4 star with current staffing issues They said numerous times they were short staffed so I do think it might be better if they ever get staffed up We arrived at 5:30 and our room was not ready even though check in time was 4pm

We were able to get into a different room after about 10-15 minutes but I had to insist as they initially told us to wait by the pool My room was not stocked with fresh packs of coffee, and when I did get some and went to make itthere was old coffee in the machine and I had to clean it before use The kiddie pool was closed and employees didn’t know why It just had a rope around it The positives were they had 2 different water slides and the lines were not long and went very quickly Fun for adults and kids Many different pools and a shuttle driver to take you around the grounds/to different pools or to the golf course if needed It’s nice that the rooms have kitchens so that you can cook and eat in the room rather than eating out (especially with their on site restaurant still closed) The pool grill was open but had a very small and limited menu Game room and family room also closed

Jim DeBiase

Place is amazing Been here many times but it seems this hotel is not ready for full capacity yet Still has covid restrictions up 6 feet stickers and glass partitions at check in but make the whole property come to the main pool to use the slide or their only bar? They have another pool with the same slide but force the whole hotel to come to 1 pool? This over crowds this pool and cannot get seat to enjoy

Makes no sense The other issue is their bar is open from 11am – 5pm? What are you supposed to do after 5pm if you want a drink? So many lost opportunities for revenue They have to do better as every other hotel / business is fighting to compete If they are short staffed and don’t have a restaurant and only have 1 slide open post this on your website so people know before spending $500 a night for a partially closed property!

World Management

We enjoy our time here Some pluses and minuses, however We were grateful there were enough chairs during a very busy weekend, by the pool; however, the cushions are dingy, not clean and ripped up

We enjoy the room and the service is really great if you need anything, it’s at your doorTo be honest, the other piece of feedback is just at the pool side food is not that great The french fries could be so easily slightly higher and with just a bit of them green dill or anything sprinkled on them (or parmesan- anything!! Lol) They’re just not great The salads, too, just change the lettuce or add a secondary kind of lettuce it’s just a very lame salad, even for poolside It’s such an easy adjustmentAnd while the service is kind, I think we would’ve ordered more if the service people visited us a couple more times while we’re sitting around the pool It’s certainly very hot and difficult work and everybody was so kindOverall a nice day I just think they could make it closer to a true four star place if they bumped up minor things

While the rooms are simple and lack a bit of personality, they are furnished with everything that’s needed and a little more The grounds are beautiful, the pools are wonderful, the spa: peaceful and the staff: exceptional An excellent stay overall, the staff truly made the experience superior

From the moment we were greeted by the warm, welcoming and light-hearted valet to our much-appreciated late check-out, each member of the staff was generous, friendly, accommodating and first-class Liz, at the front desk, was exceptionally wonderful She found a way to go above and beyond each day of our visit and is an incredible asset to the resort We’ll happily be back

Warattaya Vaughn

Second visit at this location Good service from Valet parking to receptionist Self parking is available for free but we prefer the valet

Room is nice but need more cleaning details Mini fridge can fit can waters and only small items Microwave is $20 per night upon request There were the stains on shower curtain and some former guests items were still in the bedroom Restaurants are quite decent with great meal

I have stayed in the Hyatt Regency in Indian Wells many times I just went recently after I haven’t been for a while and it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in It’s the only place I’ll ever stay in the Palm Springs area

First of all, this hotel is in a great location Close to Palm Springs and other surrounding popular cities This place is affordable, the rooms are pristine, and the outdoor area is fantastic! There are so many pools and it’s never crowded I also like how there’s basically a designated kids area where the water slides are The hotel restaurants serve great food Staff is very polite and helpful They are pet friendly also which is a great plus for people bringing along pets on their vacation Overall, this hotel is fantastic and I definitely recommend it!

This was our first time to Palm Springs, as well as first time to a Desert location and we really enjoyed ourselves Our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cathedral City was fantasticAlthough the Hotel was undergoing some renovations and painting at the time, we were not disturbed at all due to the work and were advised that the windows at some point during our stay may end up being covered with plastic from the outside which was no problem at all

The workers we occasionally bumped into near the Elevators and Hallway were incredibly polite and respectfulI’d give this a 5 star, but unfortunately the 1 and only negative aspect was the beds for me They were a bit too firm for my tastes, so that took 1 star off, although to focus on the positive aspects, the staff were super friendly and helpfulEva was amazing, as our first room had a very noisy A/C Unit, although the very next morning we let her know and she provided a room upgrade which was perfect for the remainder of our stay (besides the also firm mattress)The rooms are very clean and otherwise comfortable The Pool was fantastic on our visit, and going for a dip when it was 40c/104f was great way to stay comfortable Definitely consider giving them a try, and I hope in the future they’ll have rooms with softer mattresses

Trending Nordic

The hotel is currently being renovated and changing brands So get ready for a totally renovated hotel soon The front desk was very friendly and the room was clean but definitely older

The pool was nice but there really isn’t anything past the fence to look at other than a dry waterway It’s located close to the casino and just miles away from Palm Springs

Fantasia Thunderdome

We stayed in the first floor near the reception desk Positives: Friendly Staff Negatives: CONSTANT slamming doors from 8:30 to midnight

It was guests making the noise- but this wouldn’t happen if the hydraulics on the doors were fixed Everything in the bathroom looked like there was mold in the corners It doesn’t look like something housekeeping could just scrub off though- it looks like it needs to be replaced The tv was AWFUL I felt like I was in the 80s The remote was ancient It took an hour to scroll through each channel to find what I wanted to watch Dear God- there’s technology now- get some The plumbing in this building is scary When anyone beside or above us ran a sink or shower, it sounded like it was going to burst through the wall The bed was so hard I barely slept How old are these mattresses? My back is killing me this morning When I woke up and opened my curtains- i was greeted by a construction worker sitting on a 5 gallon bucket, spitting onto the pool deck We packed up and left as fast as we could Gross

Very kid friendly! I stayed here with my 1 year old on a family vacation She had a blast in the pools, on the splash pad, and sandy area The spa was also excellent with fabulous amenities! I hope to return some day

Shout out to the hostess in the restaurant (i didn’t catch her name) who found me some milk for my baby and saved me a trip to the grocery store with a fussy baby after a long travel day Thank you for going above & beyond!

Faith Rohani

The resort is amazing, it’s a golf and pool resort Service was great, there was a lot of communication within the resort of workers communicating the weather and what us as guests should and shouldn’t be doing The pools are pretty great, all around 3ft deep, they have a family pool which was pretty packed and there was a lazy river than went around the two slides they had

The hotel rooms were great as well The balconies were great too Food there was great as well!! The breakfast item, cinnamon roll, I would not get again It came out really hard and not the best But other than that the rest of the food there was great All around great place for a fun and relaxing place to go without having to leave

Srt

We visited our son & his family They were staying here for a couple of daysWe visited them at the pool & lazy river area & were hosted in a pool side cabana

The area was crowded but clean & as orderly as it could be while entertaining youngstersThe pool staff were really on top of things & I was impressed with their attentiveness to the crowd & their safetyThe cabana, though pricey according to my son, was clean, well set up & equipped with a misting systemThe wait staff & servers at the pool/cabana were very cool, very accommodating & very politeI cannot comment on the room because we live locally & did not stay at the resort

This is not a five star resort We travel a ton and have stayed at my high end hotels and the Ritz is sub-par at best First, the room was tiny and old and very cramped

The rooms need major renovation We were paying well over $1000 a night and it simply isn’t worth itBoth pools were extremely crowed and at times the service was extremely slow The staff were great but simply understaffed for peak timesThe food was good but not great The main steak restaurant was closed during our stayAnd finally, after spending a week at this resort and having a $14,000 bill, the front desk argued with me that our breakfast was past the 11 AM cut off (our package had breakfast included) and charged us for lunch and only gave us credit for a few breakfasts instead of all of themOverall we were extremely disappointed with this “category 7” resort Won’t be back

Tammy Postajian

Do not bother staying at this broken down hotel called the Ritz Carlton Make sure you read the reviews You will see how run down this hotel is

The rates are $750 plus and if you use points, you will still need to spend a $1000 out of pocket Which would have been fine if it was worth it The rooms are falling apart The showers hardly work while water leaks onto the floors Toilets don’t flush No electrical outlets for new iPhones Menus are ancient with not modern choices A/C sounds like a plane is landing in your room You will also have to walk a mile to the pool You will not get any peace and quiet here Manager was alerted and moved us to another location directly in front of their club which serves food and drinks This was his was of accommodating and we just gave up at this point After our stay, he tried to accommodate us with partial points! Another insult The boutique hotels charge the same but customer service blows any 5 star hotel away I will never step foot at this hotel again The manager replied to my review on another site saying she wants to reach out to me and when I responded she never replied Please do not waste your money here There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are 20 times better than this place

Jett Anderson

Facility was fine; room was fine; food was fine; service was okay The premium restaurant was closed (apparently throughout COVID, although that wasn’t indicated on the website)

I reserved a month out and foolishly assumed based upon the brand, the location and the price ($839 for bed & breakfast) that this was a luxury resort It wasn’t It was a nice, family-oriented resort It would be fine in the $300 to $400 range So I would neither recommend nor returnBelow–The menu was on laser-printer paper

We have a lovely room that meets our needs nicely for a fun girls trip Comfortable beds, large refrigerator, kitchenette, bathroom with a shower and a sink plus a separate sink area with a bathtub Our outside patio looks out toward the golf course and the Marriott

Sunset is beautiful! The grounds of the property are very well maintained There is a nice pool across from our unit We can walk to the hotel using a path nearby or take the free shuttle We have enjoyed walking to the spa and hotel as it is not that far of a walk There is also plenty of covered parking for our cars I will definitely stay here again The only negative ( which does not affect my rating for the place) is the small child who started running around upstairs about 6:00 am and woke me up So, note to parents with small children who rent upper units: Some people like to sleep-in when on vacation so PLEASE be respectful and control your child(ren)

I stayed here for the weekend from 7/16/22-7/17/22 and it was very disappointing First off, our room took over 2 hours to get ready when we arrived Later we went to pool 8 and it was disgusting! My dad literally found a tooth in it! It was dirty and I found a ton of hair in it as well

There were cups floating around too Back into the room, they only provided us one very small can of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which finished very quickly There were 5 of us who had to take a shower and they finished after only 2 showers We tried calling the front desk but the phone wouldn’t work After a while, the phone worked and I ordered more shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and towels (which we ran out of as well) Then I had to take a shower right after we ordered those so I wouldn’t miss dinner and I showered with no shampoo or conditioner I had to use 3 hand drying towels to dry off my body until they brought the things we ordered The next day we didn’t do much at the hotel but the checkout is unnecessarily early which is an inconvenience Overall, do not spend your money here, there are much better hotels in Palm Springs

Rene Cornejo

I checked in around 4:20pm, and was told my room was not ready, and no ETA Even though check in is at 4:00pm I was not very happy

Went to the concierge service desk and was assisisted by Donna which was very helpful and got me a room next the a pool right awayThen I Couldn’t sleep due to a loud knocking noise coming from the fridge or water heater This was all night constantly every 2hrs or so When I checked out I mentioned this to the front desk lady, and said I’m sorry about that Not what I expected from this resort at all The only good thing was the pool area

Our air conditioning was not working for at least two of the days and nights leaving our room at 83 degrees despite our requests to fix it The main lightbulb was burned out when you walk in the room The cold water handle in the bathtub was inoperable for 2 days despite our requests to fix it making the bathtub unusable

The in-room coffee was decaf The restaurant was closed for most of our stay The room was only cleaned and serviced every 3 days We received a credit of two $29 resort fees which were unexpected and not nearly enough

Ramiah Thomas

We stayed here 2/15-2/17 and the 2 stars is the lake view only Nobody was at the desk upon our entering the lobby and after a few minutes I walked over to the bar and asked the bartender for assistance however she instructed me to ring the bell so that someone would come down Staff were not the most friendly of folks

We almost got the vibe like we were putting them out in a way Checkin was a laughable experience and the room was filthy – not dirty – but filthy See photos!! The location and lake is why I’m leaving 2 stars My recommendation is stay elsewhere

I came to the Château from San Diego on Sunday to celebrate my late mother’s birthday, as her resting place is in CoachellaFirst off, the welcome we received from Paul, was not at all welcoming He did didn’t introduce himself, didn’t inquire about how we were doing; he gave me a paper to sign agreeing that I would be checking out on Wednesday

He then handed me 1 key and told me the room number He said , “I just like to let you know that the restaurant will be closed Monday and Tuesday” Nothing else, no instructions, no enjoy your stay, nothing! We proceeded to our room, with the 1 key that he gave us,, kind of puzzled as to why we only received 1 keyOnce we entered the room, we found it modestly decorated, however the chair looked quite worn, and the carpet was filthy It didn’t looked as though it had been vacuumed, and it was stained The bathroom was very nice, but the shower glass didn’t appear to be clean We decided to go out for dinner, but we stopped to ask if it would be possible to get a 2nd key Paul asked us what our room number was, and retrieved the 2nd key We thanked him and left The next morning, someone was trying to enter our room, when asked , “can we help you?”, startled because it was rather early The person at the door was asking if we were checking out We told the person, no we are not checking out, as we were scheduled to stay until Wednesday A short time later, we received a call from Paul at the front desk apologizing for the mix up My sister then asked when Housekeeping comes to clean the room, we were then informed that Housekeeping only comes if you are staying for more than 3 daysAs we were leaving for the day on Monday, we saw the Housekeeping Staff, and asked if we could have clean towels and if she could possibly vacuum our carpet, as it looked as it had not been vacuumed the previous day Housekeeping politely obliged We stopped at the front desk, to let Paul know of our request of housekeeping , so that she wouldn’t get into trouble My sister commented to Paul(which we didn’t even know his name until after this exchange), that he seemed a little bit more polite today than he did the previous day Paul said, that he apologized for not mentioning the no housekeeping unless you were staying more than 3 days I told him, you didn’t tell us much of anything yesterday, then I thanked him and asked him his name On Tuesday, after our outing, we called and asked if we could get more towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex Not long afterwards, there was a loud knock at the door, it was Paul bringing the requested items My sister went to hang the towels, and noticed that the only hand towel given looked dirty An hour or so later Claudia, a member of housekeeping passed by our room, and my sister asked if we could get some clean hand towels and toiletries Claudia was very kind, and brought the items back Wednesday morning, I was up using the restroom, when I went to change the toilet paper roll, to my great disgust, the new roll of toilet paper that Paul had given us last night, was stained with something brown! It looked beyond disgusting, and I don’t know what it was I had to use Kleenex, to handle my business It was checkout day, so I left the toilet paper with Paul, and thank him Surprisingly enough, Paul was actually cordial for the very first time, but first impressions last, and we felt unwelcome from the start of our visitThe positives about the Château are, the bed was very, very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful There are sea turtles and catfish in the lake, the atmosphere is very serine I wish I give them a higher rating, but if I compared it to previous places I’ve stayed, the Château was subpar, when it could have been superb!I almost forgot, I was given $29 off for Paul not mentioning the room service

We recently stayed here for a staycation and we enjoyed it The Free managers reception was very well put together including all sorts of cheeses and other foods They have a very open bar with beer wine soft drinks and even basic spirits

And the breakfast in the morning was well done as well, They even have cooked-to-order omelettes as neededThe rooms are very spacious we enjoyed them and they were clean, the gym was not too bad and the pool was fairly good too Even though the weather was super hot here in the middle of summer, the place was still very busy There’s plenty of car parking available for everybody and we really enjoyed the stay

The hotel was recently remodeled and very nice They had plenty of employees constantly cleaning tables and surfaces with disinfectant Our room was clean and very comfortable

We had a patio with gorgeous mountain views The breakfast was very good with many choices including made to order omelets The dinner snacks weren’t the best I’ve had at past visits but a free glass of wine is a nice touch We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend them

Awesome stay!! Gina provided excellent customer service at check in and throughout my visit Yummy breakfast (the fruit was always fresh) and refreshing evening drinks appreciated after a hot day The hotel has been renovated so my room was actually better than the current pictures

Overall, very nice staff, clean hotel, and convenient location!

Their amenities are nice with a tennis court, fitness center, and a heated outdoor pool They have some seating outside with a fireplace that’s nice to sit by at night The breakfast was pretty good but the rooms and building itself is really old

The carpets and furniture have some stains and the room isn’t super clean The staff is nice but we had some communication issues with room service where different staff members were telling us different things about their room service policy during covid The hotel isn’t in walking distance to anything nearby

Effi Crotty

Friendly staff when checking in and the rooms are really nice Given it’s a Residence inn it’s essentially a spacious studio apartment so being able to have lite groceries was a plus It’s in a good spot from the highway, close enough but far away enough to not hear it

The parking lot filled up quickly next to our room though, not a huge inconvenience but there was still plenty of spaces in the complex

Ramie Shumate

Was very happy to be stay here on a mini vacation trip But at 1 in the morning when we found out we had bed bugs! Front desk didn’t seem to surprised And all they wanted todo that night was give us clean bedding

But we did end up leaving Next morning management was very good to us But definitely Not cool Marriott I hope you guys took care of this and got all new furniture in those rooms

I can’t say enough about this Hotel/Casino! From the moment we stepped out of our taxi, the customer service was impeccable! The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome They are pleasant, helpful and accommodating I spend a lot of time in Reno and Vegas and Palm Springs casinos are awesome! I actually hit 2 jackpot hand pays within hours of arriving, which obviously was a great start to our vacation

The Steakhouse Restaurant was amazing (highly recommend making reservations), the wait staff were on point and very attentive and the food was delicious The Ace Club is totally worth joining (no cost) but the comps and free play are some of the best I’ve seen in comparison to other casino reward programs The pool was closed the first day we arrived due to a sand storm, but the following morning the pool was clear of all sand and debris and we got to have a pool day Again, wait staff was great! Drinks and food are good (a little pricey, but that’s to be expected) I cannot wait to go back for another visit!

Kevin Hass

I did not stay at the Resort it was a stop of for a couple of hours The casino was very nice, clean and well maintained The staff I had interacted with was very professional and nice

I was on a quick business trip, and maybe some time in the future would consider a more lengthy term stay at the Resort As for now I can not give a full and complete review and that is why I gave it 4 stars on the portion I was able to encounter The location is easy to find but the entrances are a bit constricting as is some of the parking areas It did not seem overly busy so it wasn’t a big problem with that at that time I would venture a guess that the rooms and Resort in a large part is probably as good as the portion I did visit, but that would just be a guess and not a definitive thought

John N

Fantastic property! I was going to give them 5 stars however, I am a night owl and there was no place to purchase any food or snacks between 2 AM and 6 AM That was really disappointing Given the tremendously great level of service and amenities at this resort casino I was surprised

Otherwise I highly highly recommend this property The room was extremely clean, every single staff member was very polite and very helpful, the casino was fun and they have a great lineup of entertainment!

Not what I’m used toOld dated 2 bedroom but cleanFriendly staff, cool place that leaves you alone which is nice

Warm pools and super hot in the summer Be warned it was 51 degrees Celsius in July so not much to do outdoors in that kind of heatGood wifi and tv channels and staff were friendly and helpful Expensive for what you get though or I would of rated it higher

Joe Assio

worst experience ever showed up at 10:20 and the lobby was already closed for the night and they made a mistake and did not have a room for us the next day they apologized and refunded us but what good does that do I had to book a different hotel nearby last minute and spend 300 extra

Their email confirmation received when i booked said the lobby hours are till 12AM but that obviously is not true

Yudi Wilson

We booked a hotel room for July 2, 2022 We got there and the AC wasn’t cooling Then we tried to take a shower and all that came out was hot water

We ate in the room because had been driving all day Then we go out to see some friends hoping that when we came back the room and water would be cold and it wasn’t We packed our stuff, took our trash and booked a different hotel We came back the next day to explain how unsatisfying the conditions in the room were and no partial or full refund was given Do not stay here use that money to at least get you a cool room with adjustable water temperature

This is literally worth all your money! Book here ASAP! Great living room, giant modern TVs, a full kitchen with everything (plates, mugs, utensils, and can openers etc) a private room and walk-in closet included too! Entire room is spacious and nice Wonderful staff, except no elevator was functional and was the old ones, had to carry luggage up the stairs

More pros than con

I had reservations and was never told that I needed a deposit My purse was stole right before our trip and I didn’t have my credit card so I couldn’t pay a deposit I was turned away after driving a couple hours to get there

Fortunately my best friend lent me the money and we got our room It was very nice perfect for our stay My only suggestion is inform everyone there will be a deposit and how hot its going to be during the summer Also be aware that they (house keeping) will enter your room if your not there and don’t answer the door

Miki Claire

Terrible service, had to call for housekeeping 4 times before they sent someone Pool towels flimsy, could be a better pool with better food options, fitness center hours were not listed on the amenities sheet and were not communicated during check-in The fitness center doesn’t open til 9 so I didn’t get to use it, but I did peek in there and it wasn’t good—very limited

It looked like they tried to do some updates but it was very sloppy workmanship

We have been here less than 24 hours and it’s beyond our expectations! I’m a stickler when it comes to customer service and theirs has proven to be top notch, starting with the gentleman that helped me book my reservation when I called the hotel directly Since arriving, every encounter I’ve had with an employee is welcoming They greet you with a smile or friendly hello even when just walking by them

Pool area is nice with a couple different options for seating Room was clean and very nice upon arrival We are in a 2 queen bedroom with a couch and the couch fits 3 Littles comfortably because it has a pull out bed plus a chase Perfectly priced as well! Highly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites!

Tammy Porter

Needed an overnight stay-we live locally and our air conditioner needed repair I am particular with hotel stays and I was pleased with our short stay The very friendly front desk staff allowed a later check-out

Clean room, comfortable bed, and satisfying complimentary breakfast Pet-friendly was even better Thank you for the great service!

Tom McA

I’ve learned Hampton Inns can vary depending on the location The one located in Santa Clarita, CA was much nicer than the one in Palm Desert My stay at the Palm Desert location was just so-so – maybe a step above Motel 6

The only highlight was the friendly representative during check out – very personable and professional The “free breakfast” was nothing to brag aboutyes, the breakfast area was clean, organized and welcoming However, the cheese omlettes were quite unique!😁 stick with the bagels, muffins or cereal!

The resort staff were all very nice and accommodating This is definitely a family-friendly resort and you can sense it while you’re there The “main” pool is loaded with families and kids alike, kiddie pool, splash pad, hot tub and water slide all in one location

Separated by a few ping-pong tables is another pool which seemed more secluded and quiet for the kid-less guests We originally were given a room in the 1000 building, which is closest to the Main lobby, but one of the furthest from the pool area Once we got inside and realized how far away the walk was, we asked for a closer room They had availability in the 1800 building which was much closer to the action The room was spacious, clean and kitchenette was a plus, with microwave, full-sized coffee pot, larger mini-fridge and utensils/plate ware Our room was king sized bed with a newer pull out sofa that our girls were comfortable in (memory foam mattress) The only downside was a cockroach visitor in the early morning hours We were able to catch it under a cup and had the front desk notified They sent a maintenance guy out who took it away The place isn’t dirty at all, likely just the bugs coming in for the cooler temps during the 105 degree heat And it’s the desert The front desk staff was very understanding and were able to comp some snacks from the Marketplace for the inconvenience, which was very nice of them All-in-all, we would definitely come back on another one-night stop off on our road trips between AZ and CA coast

2 reasons for the rating: 1 Pool slide restrictions 2

Room cleanlinessBefore we booked we called about the water slide and were told it’s not restricted We book for summer Get here and my 5 year daughter gets turned down at the slide because they now have height restrictions and she’s an inch too short Sent my daughter away crying I even offered to sign a liability waiver, have her demonstrate she can swim, or go down with her, but nope We’re here for a week but can’t even enjoy the main reason we even booked hereAs for the room’s cleanliness, I know the whole world is short staffed but it looked like they didn’t do anything in our room other than make the bed There was hair on the floor, bed, tub What looked like melted chocolate on the tile floor and on the inside of the door One of the dining room chairs had crumbs like a toddler was eating crackers on itAnd they want me to do a 90 minute timeshare presentation, no thanksWill never be staying here again!

Michelle Pray

If you are in a wheelchair this is not the place for you When we checked in another guest told us the elevator wasn’t working in their area Thankfully we were in another complex

Until tonight We came home from dinner and our room is on the 2nd floor and the elevator doesn’t work We have been standing in 100 degree heat for over an hour with promises of another room and help Still nothing This is ridiculou Do better Marriott

We spent the weekend (May 20-22) at Miramonte Indian Wells Spa and Resort and was not disappointed! The room was exceptional with all the comforts We had to ask for more towels and washcloths since they only supplied enough for one person The beds were comfortable but the pillows were like huge rocks

The coffee provided to brew in the room was not good however the restaurant had excellent coffee! Aside from the little hiccups described above, I would definitely recommend this place for relaxation and for the pools and spa fun Lastly I want to include how outstanding the landscaping set the atmosphere of tranquility So many trees and views!Great meeting rooms and stage for guest speakers and big groups

Emily Sutton

Spent the afternoon here after an early flight arrival and late air bnb check in What a way to the spend the day The place is beautiful

The service in the spa area was excellent and the facilities were clean They stored myluggage safely and had a locker I could access while I was there There was only one bartender but she was working very hard to serve the customers Overall would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to hang out during the day

Kyle Phillips

I read all of the crummy reviews and still decided to say because of he rate I’m glad I did This place was beautiful and very well kept

The staff was friendly and checking took less than 5 mins The whole property was well kept and the rooms were very clean The reviews recent poor reviews did lead to the place being fairly desolate Just not many people here Be we loved it I recommend this place to anyone Oh, and the best part was the dozens of citrus trees with ripe, oranges, lemons & grapefruit

We had a wonderful time here and will be coming back! 3 pool options with plenty of lounge chairs, staff was very friendly and welcoming Live music at the lounge on the weekends and great food options at a fair price We also brought our dog which we weren’t sure what to expect, staff was so nice to our pup and made us feel really comfortable during our stay! Rooms were nice and bed was comfortable

Fabulous spa- highly recommend the facials! I was pleasantly impressed with my stay here and will definitely be coming back!

Ciara Delaney

Rooms are clean and the bed is VERY comfortable Price was GREAT for off seasonOur children LOVED the water slide!! And they let 42″ and above so my fully swimming 5yo was able to go on it!! He was SO EXCITED

I think my children went on down the water slides 100+ times(They didn’t let him at the Shadow Ridge Marriott because it’s 48″ even though he is an excellent swimmer)

Tania Sierra

The place is beautiful The rooms are spacious and comfortable The staff were very friendly and accommodating

But for such a fancy and expensive resort, I expected better amenities in the room The coffee machine is old, it took forever to brew one cup and then you had to wait 30 mins to brew another one There was no microwave The ice machine in our building didn’t work Some of the outlets didn’t work and the ones that did work were loose and wouldn’t hold on to my phone charger And no housekeeping services were offered

I normally rate Courtyards very high This particular property needs an update Still in the old CY look and amenities

I’m a Lifetime Titanium member and have spent the greater part of my proffessional career in a Marriott property My greatest peeves were a closet door that kept coming off its track It took several hours to get someone to repair it and it fell right off the track almost immediately Also getting your linens and sheets changed shouldn’t be a hassle After speaking to a housekeeper I was told to speak to the front desk and she would be approved to freshen my room I speak to front desk and the person says she needs to speak with management before she can approve it I said I’m in room ### please make sure the room is ready when I return at 6PM and will you please fix the closet door again She repeats I need to speak to a manager That is not what I wanted to hear Clearly this employee is not empowered to make decisions, but better customer communication can be coached

Just stayed here during the BNP Paribas tennis tournament and it was great! Extremely disappointing Service hospitality NON existent, quality / value equation out of line Much better resort options

Check in line was 12 guest deep, one person trying to manage it Said no one was there to help Checked in early, room wasn’t ready, which is fine, but then instead of activating mobile key you have to go back again to get plastic key$700 a night room with windows on two sides facing parking lot – so car lights shining in all night and loud noise from parking lot and employee break area outside the door No willingness to assist or help with a move Calling service express is frustrating called a couple of times, no answer Got thru finally the folks answering were curt, unfriendly and just not niceAsked for room to be cleaned daily, didn’t happen until last day ( day four ) Room was not clean carpets old and didn’t appear clean, coffee machine that has coffee product that doesn’t fit so it overflows and spills everywhere, iron had stuff on it so it trashed the shirt No attention to details Pool bar was incredibly bad Bartenders never smiled once or used in any friendly language, actually very off putting, eating their lunch behind the bar in front of guests, cleaning supplies and materials all over the top of bar in front of guests Giving last call at 4pm when pool is packed and people are spending moneyQuiet pool had an employee walking around offering water which was really niceServer working coffee shop was super nice Server at bar clubhouse was niceExtremely hard to get ahold of anyone at Hotel or Marriott to give feedback or get assistance Feedback mechanism while at hotel and at on app is very hardChat didn’t work a couple of different times, when it did someone called me who was just not nice or even empathetic

Traveled here a few years ago Great memories Place was well maintained and beautiful looking

The only reason this is a 4 star is because they cut access to the Westin Resort next door though but it makes quite a difference There was a game centre there and larger gym than the villas We went to Pinzimini restaurant for breakfast just about every day As far as I know, there is no breakfast place at the Villas I believe they sold the resort to another company which is obviously not in the best interest of guests here Overall, though, the villas property itself was great

Noel G.

Very nice resort We rented a pair of adjoining Villas Cost was a little less than $400/night for both suites together

It was overkill for a family of 4, but didn’t cost much more to have two full beds and two washrooms Our main Villa are equipped with a full kitchen, side Villa had a Kitchenette We also had a BBQ on our large patio There was a second patio with the side Villa The garden and pond and waterfalls were beautiful Complete with ducks The resort is beautifully decorated with feather palms, windmill palms, agave, and cactus The paradise pool, large, designed well There is a second pool for the waterslide, a third kiddie pool, a hot tub whirlpool, and a bar There is another smaller pool on the far side of the resort, it is a lot quieter It’s located right next to a golf course This is an absolutely beautiful resort, and is already on our list to return to
