What a lovely property! My husband and I came here for a wedding and stayed overnight They let me check in 2 hours early to get ready for the wedding which was so convenient The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom toiletries were a little higher end than most hotels

The wedding was held outside with a stunning view The passes appetizers and buffet dinner was really good and plentiful All staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful Would definitely return again!

First and last time at Woodcliff I was pretty disappointed with my stay at Woodcliff When I first made the reservation I thought there was going to be a tub, but I guess in the Executive king rooms there are only showers

I could get over that part, but the part that was annoying was the lack of customer service that they claim to provide First off everyone seems to have an attitude Second, I ordered the spa package in the upgraded room, but did not receive the cheese board or wine until going downstairs twice They made it seem like I was bothering the workers, but I was just following up on what I ordered…We also did not have the spa slippers which were also included in the package supposedly but I wouldn’t know…Third, the complimentary breakfast is not from their restaurant, but from the little Starbucks stand they have in the lobby I feel like they should state that in the description because that’s definitely false advertising Overall our massages were good which was the best part, but still frustrated with the overall price to service There is really no point in upgrading to the executive king room unless you want to be on the 6th floor The “great view” they claim, please take that with a grain of salt You would think after paying that much the facilities would be up to date Personally, I would not recommend this place to friends or family

We stayed here for 4 nights as they’re the host hotel for an even we attended near by The location is good, as it was easy access to the highway and it was surrounded by lush green space Easy access to nature trails

2 min drive from a large shopping areaThe hotel is a bit out dated and the rooms require updates We didn’t have a microwave in our room, but our friends (same booking) has a microwave Not that we needed it, just standard and consistency mattersThere are a lot of excellent hotel staff who are very helpful and accomodating One person stood out for us, Vicky at reception was amazingHave mixed feelings about giving this review as the staff are amazing, however the hotel itself is not worth the money (and we got group rates)

It was wonderful to have connected rooms with my sister and her family! The kitchen was nice for a few meals during our stay I have a dairy free and gluten free diet so the fridge was a life saver for keeping safe foods for me The continental breakfast was great for the family, there was fruit for me, but not much else

No problem though because I had a kitchen to make my own meals We even had a Walmart 5 min away to get supplies as needed

Alecia Pike

Front desk staff breanna and Dylan were wonderful, I needed a bath in my room and she changed it quickly with no problem Breakfast staff was very pleasant and even made plain eggs for my little ones Anytime we needed anything we called or went to desk and staffed helped

Room was big, comfortable and relaxing I felt at home for a long working weekend! If you’re staying a long weekend for work or play, this is a nice place!

Timothy Schantz

First of all a thank you to the front desk employee Kind and very helpful, he really tried his best Rooms were old and a disaster

First room was stained all over the carpet area, but the AC was broken in the main room So we move to the room next door, still carpet has seen better days but we’re assured that it was clean Then later the toilet doesn’t work and it kept running The part that was bothersome is that the rooms aren’t cheap and I should not be having these problems This Homewood Suites NEEDS a major room renovation

This was our hotel during a long weekend in the summer and was absolutely perfect our stay It’s a modern hotel with a good size bedrooms, nice bathroom and spacious jacuzzi and indoor pool to enjoy before or after your day out We had a king size bedroom and the bed was so comfy and the room was clean

Large rooms, clean property, friendly serviceCheck in was very quick and informative I was given the choice of having a room on main floor or high floor

Bathrooms are a bit dated, but everything is in good working conditionNice to have a hot breakfast for the days you’re running behindGym is a bit smallThe property is close to the highway, but surrounded by trees so it’s nice and quietDidn’t hear noise from adjacent rooms so it’s nicely insulatedHad a good stay here and would definitely come back

Luke Gabello

The Residence Inn was clean and comfortable in appearance The amenities seemed reasonable: small food section, gathering places, a pool, and desk support The staff during my visit was perhaps managing a lot more than normal because they kept getting the room number wrong when directing guests to a private birthday party

I don’t believe that anyone was trying to be lazy or to create poor service, it was just what happened on this one particular day The location is interesting because it is off of a main road and somewhat secluded behind other businesses Thed location can be a positive or a negative for this reason depending on what you are looking for Regardless, the uniqueness of the location is worth noting

Loved this hotel The rooms are clean, spacious, and updated There’s a peaceful outdoor seating area, and a park with a beautiful duck pond behind the hotel

Theres a nice breakfast buffet in the morning with a wide variety of options There was a little confusion at the check in with my reservation, and the pool water was milky, but there were a ton of kids swimming in it so that’s probably why

Lynn Dee

Spent 1 Saturday night with the kids (12y, 8y, 4y) as a surprise and we had the best time From the first phone call to make the reservation was beyond pleasant and informative, very nice woman (I think was the day manager?) When we arrived the Front Desk staff were busy with a large party Check In (High School sports team?) but not frazzled or overwhelmed and were friendly to everyone, including us after that long wait in line We asked for a late check out the next morning so the kids had more swim time and it wasn’t a problem

The building and room was clean The refrigerator in our room was great kept all our food and beverages nice and cold! Most mini fridges are subpart Breakfast was fresh and hot, kids loved it The pool was nice, the hot tub was a bit too hot for the kids At one point we had the pool to ourselves, I would have liked to have had a skimmer to use, but it is a public pool! Everything was overall a good timeI would have given 5 Stars ⭐But there was an incident with the Fire AlarmIt went off about 9pm (we later found out the cause was the heat and steam from the pool area that sounded the alarm)But there was a bit of chaos with all the guests spilling into the hallways frightened There was no overhead announcement for direction on where to go or gather from Hotel staff or Fire Department to restore calmness Even when many know what to do or where to go during a Fire Alarm To proceed to an Exit, down the stairs and outside, but when panic ensues that’s when things can go from bad to worse quickly with a stairwell full of scared people scrambling to get outAll turned out OK, obviously, however an announcement for Direction and finally an ‘All Clear’ would have been appreciated for my family and all the Hotel guests

Freda B

Keep in mind that I work in construction Since I got back from work yesterday 6/3 around 8pm, there has been no hot water The water is icy cold

The front desk didn’t inform anyone about the issue I went to the front desk around 10pm to ask and they said “someone has been fixing it for about 2 1/2 hr”8:36am 6/4 and there’s still no hot water I went back to the front desk this morning, now they’re saying “someone is on their way to fix it” Thought someone was here yesterday to fix it? One would expect hot water 24/7 especially if you’re paying almost $200/ night on weekends I had to cancel the remaining days of my reservation and find another hotel

The beds were a little hard, but that’s the only thing that wasn’t perfect The comforters and really comfortable pillows made up for itThe complimentary breakfast was wonderful No cutbacks due to Covid! We’ll definitely be back!

Can’t wait to return! Such a nice place The room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed Very clean

Pool was spectacular Shirt but very fun stay Tons of stores and restaurants nearby Best part was the breakfast, do it yourself waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, omelets, sausage All free!! Staff was very pleasant and courteous

Lisa Wyble

We chose the first floor, king size bed room We brought our fur person, of whom is not spoiled beyond a child ;), and it was magnificent The connecting door does amplify sound of drunks at 3 am, but overall I’m going back as often as i can

Great staff, service, amenities, lots to eat/do around the hotel The breakfast was fresh and really good, waffles for us and sausage for the fuzzy man YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG! Seriously, your dog needs to behave and have basic training, don’t be that person

This review is based on my opinion and posted as a result of my many nights at this establishmentThe room is always clean, I have not had a bad experience here I must add…

this is an average hotel thoughWhat makes this hotel get a 5 is the front desk girl that is usually on duty when I check in, usually around 7pm or so Not sure of her name but she said she is being trained for management To me, this young lady is an awesome person with a great personality She also appears multitasking all the time and always wears a smile

Farhat Ahmed

I stayed here for one night with my family recently I would like to say thank you for the excellent service provided by Leslie She assisted us with a quick and efficient check in, and was very kind and accomodating in every way possible

Location is also great as it is very close to the airport High speed wifi was perfect and the breakfast was excellentAll in all, great experience here and would defintely recommend Thank you again Leslie for making our stay a great one

We had 4 guests registered to be in the room any hour to our room to find 1 bath towel First time we went to the desk we were told laundry was being done and it was going to be a while, went back later and were told housekeeping would bring us some, finally after already being there for 24hrs and having to go back to the desk 3 times we got more towels And there was a beer can in the bathroom garbage when we got there too

Disappointing There was some very nice and polite staff we interacted with though, and the hotel itself is nice and in a good location

Elizabeth

My family and I have stayed here many times over the past few years visiting family, and the breakfast thus time was the worst it’s ever been There was NO fruit at all except fir some whole apples that are out if season The waffle machine was gone and the egg sandwich my husband ate was inedible

When I asked an employee about it she seemed annoyed and said thst Del Monte is switching breakfast to make it “ healthier” His is no fruit healthier? How is offering yogurt loaded with sugar healthier? How is an egg sandwich healthier than scrambled eggs? Even the coffee was undrinkable! I don’t we’ll be staying here again And by the way, my husband is a platinum elite member!

Daniel H

Rooms were nice and clean Condition of the hotel was good Breakfast was grab and go (microwavable sandwiches, yogurt) and old fashioned oatmeal (I appreciated that)

Bathroom was nice but a bit on the small side but modern and clean I had some shower drainage issues on day two and three, and I found the knob to control the shower water temperature hard to turnThe light blocking curtains in the room were good The room was quite dark at nightThey had a small pool Also a jacuzzi, which was nice and relaxing Both are in good condition They have free drinks in the lobby, including tea, coffee, hot water and cold lemon water (nice) Lobby was well decorated and modern The AC machine did not have it’s cold setting turned at this time of the year (April) and I like my rooms cold The front desk personnel were mostly good but one or two could have been betterAround the hotel, they have some local shopping and restaurants if you want to grab something to eatOverall a good stayCON: They messed up the billing and ended up charging me for a pre-paid room I had to call them several times to clear this up, and they said they were going to credit my card back, but they did not I would up disputing that charge

The experience was awfulThe evening clerk was completely indifferentThe room was dirty, the bed sheets were stained

We had to get new ones, and change them ourselvesThere was a dirty sock on the floor from a previous occupant, the ice machine was out-of-order, there was no sanity bag for the ice bucket, and to top it all off, a used towel was hanging on the door hook in the bathroomOn a good note, Phil (GM), Alessandro, and Jane from the morning crew were extremely professional and accommodating The morning crew obviously cares a lot more about the customer experience They are solely responsible for turning a 1-star review to a 3-star review

Catherine Luo

Free parking and wifi Breakfast was quite expensive (~$9-11/person) and so was the coffee, but I would recommend the egg, cheese, and bacon quesadilla if you’re looking for the most bang-for-your-buck, filling option Quiet place, very spacious rooms

Had a really great sleep Nicer-than-expected indoor swimming pool Gym was quite good too, with 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 biking machine, and a set of weights

Lindsay Cesari

Spent the night with kids for a mini getaway We had the pool to ourselves – it was in good condition and felt clean, but the advertised hot tub has been tiled over Staff was friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room was questionable

Massive water leak in the ceiling had led to bubbling and peeling paint on one wall Holes in other walls were patched but not painted Bed was ok, but pull out couch in suite was almost unbearable for 9 year old Room feels like it might be ready for an update

So the biggest thing is the updates for example their website says they have a pool yet there wasn’t one it apparently has been gone for 2 years they have a dining room but when asked to use some of their silverware for our own meal or any take out cause they do offer take out they refused and said it’s for people who purchase on the restaurant only

Margeaux Amico

We’ve had nothing but trouble and haven’t even gotten to keep a reservation We’re on round three and noone picks up the phone, we’ve been given wrong information or told we can’t rebook when they won’t honor our package Since the kitchen is not open Sunday and Monday (part of our package) we need to also align with the spa and cannot book out months in advance, while also not providing a rain checkdue to no availabilitywhen we have to book for the spa on shorter notice

I have been told this is because they won’t know the availabilityuntil the week of I’m sure it’s a great place and we bought the package over six months ago, still unable to stay because of the mismanagement from the staff during each reservation attempt

K Bocinski

Stayed here to attend a concert at Nazareth College We were politely greeted and check-in was easy Large lot for self-parking out behind the hotel

Our room was on the 3rd floor No view The room was spotless Not a smudge on the mirrors, no fingerprints anywhere, nothing out of place Minimalist, modern decor Lots of very tasteful, indirect lighting Beautiful walk-in shower with pristine glass wall/door There is no carpet – the floor is some type of wood-look, vinyl flooring Bed was not “wow” but was certainly comfortable enough, with multiple pillows However there was a loud group down the hall (we passed multiple bags of crumpled wrapping paper in the hallway upon departure this morning) and they were up very late, loud, in and out of their room with the door banging several times This continued until around 2 am The other issue was what I assume was the heater for the room – behind a locked door with a grate at the bottom as you entered the room – that, when the heat (?) was on rumbled like an old refrigerator that was off balance It was distracting enough to require the TV volume up a bit higher than normal and very distracting when I was trying to fall asleep These were relatively minor issues and I would stay here again

The lobby was really nice looking and the people working were kind and very helpful But

The rooms were not what I thought they would be I held them up to a higher standard before I arrived Their double bedded rooms are small I figured they would be the bigger rooms since they’re supposed to fit more people With 3 of us, it was cramped The chair in the room was covered in stains Also the breakfast was cold by the time we came down to eat and it wasn’t that great over all The free breakfast that other Marriott Brand hotels arrive are much better than what they had I would suggest to go to a local restaurant instead The pool, hot tub, and fitness center were really nice

Had a week long stay, while down for my daughter’s graduation Right from checking in, super late, our experience was great! Gentleman on the front desk had us laughing all the way to our room, missed his name, but he was awesome Hotel was bright and clean

Pool and hot tub very relaxing Hotel restaurants had great service and food Our room was perfect, plenty of closet and dresser space High pressure shower!! And if thats not enough, terrific restaurants and tremendous shopping nearby We will be staying here again, on our next visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Derrick Harris

The morning staff was awful The night auditor didn’t greet me as I approached the desk to check out and the person in the back came to the front desk and simply starred at me What happened to customer service???The rooms are dated and the cleanliness is nothing to be desired

I would not recommend thus hotel

At first glance it’s great But when u look closer not so great The toilet handle was broken

It worked but it was still broken The shower head sprayed water in all direction The hot water took a bit to get hot There was a kitchenette but only 2 pots , no pan and one of the pots was rusty Also the microwave was dirty and needed to be washed We stayed 2 nights and no one came in to clean up ie change the towels and trash While we were there The bed was horrible u sunk into it Definitely needs some work

Depends on the time of year you stay I’ve been staying up there for my daughters medical needs at the University for a few yrs now The hotel seems hit or miss on quality

Depending on the staff working It’s a sketchy area Keep your doors locked obviously Homeless wander and beg for money The police do patrol regularly, which is slightly more comforting

Stayed at the Pittsford Hilton Garden Inn this weekend Happy to say that the staff, namely Audrey at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable It’s so refreshing that in a world where many people are doing more with less at their job, Audrey and the kitchen staff took great joy in making our stay excellent

The hotel itself is an older building but kept up very well It’s convenient to both Pittsford and Fairport, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance as wellThere is a small outside patio that’s good for relaxing during nice weatherThe pool area is simple but nice, all kept very cleanWe will be sure to stay here again when our travels take us through the area!

Booking was a nightmare and couldn’t understand the woman on the phone After 30 minutes of trying to figure out what she was saying I thought I had it I didn’t; ended up calling for the address for the hotel again and she again gave the wrong address

I had to give my spouse the phone to see if he could get it It was very stressful as it was getting late Finally got the right hotel address by looking on google for addresses that sounded kind of like what she was saying Got there and hotel staff was absolutely fantastic! So kind/understanding, and knew us when we walked in the door The room was very clean and smelled fantastic!

Wow, start to finish this was a great location and stay Stefan checked me in and he was helpful and informativeI was put in the safari suite and it is one of the most creative, large, and nice rooms I have stayed in my travels

For reference, I stay in around 100 hotels a year both domestic and international

Staff was very nice Room was clean and looked good Bed was comfortable

You can hear quite a bit from other rooms (running water, voices, etc) Hot tub was non-functional when we were there, so if it’s important to you I’d check before you bookOur room heater was extremely loud, but Joe, the maintenance guy, came up and worked hard to rectify it He was very nice He also ran the breakfast which was good The usual selection of hot and cold buffet – with a waffle maker, cereal, scrambled eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, even poptarts! Joe kept the place clean and the items well stocked We were happy overall Disappointment with the hot tub and happy our neighbours were quiet, but I’d stay again for the right room price because of the clean rooms and comfy beds Not sure what makes this place a “Plus” but we like it ok

Very friendly and helpful front desk Room was clean, modern, and comfortable The hot food choices at breakfast were very mediocre

The eggs were bland, and the sausage was cold and tasteless There were, however, plenty of food choices available They had oatmeal, cold cereals, bananas, and yogurt Would recommend this place for a short stay

5 day stay for me I assume now maybe you’d have to request clean towels and to have your room serviced as it was not automatically done during my stay I’m a clean person so it didn’t bother me too much and I purchased my own towels a few days in

The manager Susan was awesome There was not any work my last day there I called the front desk to try to get a late checkout due to being so tired and having a later flight She was able to accommodate me I was very grateful and that meant a lotThey have complimentary tea and coffee when you arrive I did not do breakfast there Rooms were nice I like Marriotts because there windows open (if only a little) Thanks Susan!!! She so nice

Great location, great room, and amazing staff I really wanted to give 5 stars, however, I had to be fair on my review I took a star off for the dirty pull out sofa bed, some lights out in the bathroom area, and cob webs in the corner

This has been the best hotel we stayed at our week long road trip vaca Will def rebook if back in the area!

Staff was very, very nice Rooms are a little dated but in good condition and clean In room kitchen cookware, utensils we’re minimally stocked

One of the breakers in our room was tripped so TV and other outlets weren’t working but I tracked that down quickly enough The gym has some decent equipment, some need repair Pool was nice but the water seemed a bit murky and could have been warmer I would recommend some improvements to the breakfast Same thing every day (eggs, turkey sausage patties, bagels, scones, oatmeal, yogurt, cold cereal, juice) No waffle maker Not many dairy or gluten free options No dairy-free milk Wouldn’t mind a switchup in the hot breakfast items
