Pleasant room, with poor view Pleasant, front desk people who let us know that our room would not be entered during our stay Our first evening, we realized the safe wasn’t functioning

When I reported the issue the next morning, I was told a technician would come by I also asked for clean towels and was told to leave the dirty ones outside the door and they would be replaced; didn’t happen I had to ask again before retiring that night During our stay, the room was never serviced The fitness center was really nice, but it lacked mats for stretching

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma as part of a three-day drive-to vacation with my mom The location, service, and amenities were great We enjoyed sightseeing in Bodega Bay, the Peanuts museum, and Sonoma Wine Country

The tall gentleman at the front desk was welcoming The Bartender/server at the restaurant on Monday evening provided excellent service although he was clearly overwhelmed having to manage mostly everything for all guests in the bar, restaurant area Breakfast on Tuesday was also nice, the food was yummy and the one server who mostly managed everything was friendly

Ashley

This is one of the most dog friendly hotels I have ever been to I’ve stayed at other Sheratons before, but have never seen so many people bring their dogs than I have here The hotel is just like any regular Sheraton

There was nothing that made it shine out more or less than the other Sheraton hotels Our room was clean and the staff cleaned our floor regularly It’s very convenient to many Sonoma and Petaluma wineries Downtown Sonoma was about a 20 minute drive This hotel is in a great location if wine tasting is on your list and you want to bring your dog There’s also a trail through a nature preserve right outside the hotel that is super dog friendly!

This hotel is fantastic I love the update retro decor The room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and loved all the pillows to sink into

The staff was really friendly and it is in a great location I loved the water machines and they offer GOOD coffee in the mornings Will definitely stay here again when in the area and look forward to checking out the heated pool as others seemed to be enjoying

1960’s Las Vegas time warp, with a dose of kitschy mixed in That being said this resort atmosphere is not for everyone, especially if you’re looking for a quiet romantic stay When we arrived, there were long lines in the lobby and I felt like I was at a convention

Turned out there were a couple of big events going on that day a memorial service at one end of the building and a loud reunion outside their huge swimming and lounges area We were told the events would end soon, but in reality the reunion party continued on through the night The best part of our stay was at the restaurant Delicious food and service was excellent Somehow it felt separate from all the craziness going on about us A huge pool surrounded by lounge chairs with maximum capacity people sitting on the chairs, as well as splashing in the pool After dinner I asked where the jacuzzi was, and a friendly staff managing towel service directed me past a large Alice in Wonderland gray chair with a flamingo painted on it Unfortunately, the jacuzzi too was at maximum capacity So we opted to head to our room There was no number on the door to our room, which was puzzling to say the least, and we ended up having to walk all the way around the resort to find our way in The room was spartan, like a monk’s cell, and a table but no chairs Bottom line is sadly, this resort was not worth the price we paid

Coco O

The room is not updated 100% They upgraded the bathroom, room partition, bedding linens The doors, wall, baseboard, and carpet were aged

The pool area is nice with 3ft-9th pool Kids enjoyed the pool a lot I waited forever for the server to take my order, but never came Other servers came by and told me a few times that my server will come She never did I ended up going to the bar and ordered coffee to go instead of having a full breakfast No pool towels between 9pm-10pm Pool closes at 10pm so I asked for some towels only to never come Walked back to my room soak and dripping ☹️ I don’t think I’ll be back

Beautiful property set in a very nice area Great location Restaurant is good, but has a limited selection

The room is not very quiet as I can hear general conversations from the hallway The beds are very comfortable The fitness center is lacking in a equipment Only one elliptical No tower for cable pulls and pull ups I can tell that it’s an older Doubletree property due to its expansive layout, which can be confusing at times to find your way through

Joe Maurin

The lobby was nice, looks late 80s early 90s and well kept The problems began in the hallways to the room The carpets in the hallway are loose and need to be replaced or maintained

The room was smelly, like an old smokers room, she sheets felt damp to the touch and had a mildew smell to them The bath tub tile had mold in the grout and the drawer above the refrigerator had old food in it We (my family) got a room with a patio, the patio was on the outside of the hotel where anyone can walk up from off property and do whatever The screen door to the patio was loose and kept falling off the guide We spent booked 3 nights here but spent one, this one night was only because we were dead tired from a 10 hr drive Staff at the front desk was nice and understanding, they only charged me for the one night but didn’t make an effort to keep my business within the company We booked a suite just down the street and that room was 100% better I would not recommend booking Doubletree in Rohnert Park

K HappyPants

Hotel was incredibly pricy for what is was Have stayed in Hilton before There is a restaurant on site, we went down to it for Breakfast

That was the worst $45 I’ve ever spent Even the poor server, who was very good, looked embarrassed 😳 by the quality (or total lack there of) in the food a d the prices I have a rather plain palate too Pool was nice Slightly heated, I believe There is a pool table and plenty of area in the front for people to do whatever with friends and family There is a bar, piano, sitting area, fireplace, business center an much more I didn’t explore

We’ve stayed at a lot of “cheap” hotels and this is BY FAR the best! Clean, supportive yet soft beds, fresh sheets, great pool, and excellent customer service from front desk They have a cafe onsite and the breakfast is SO much better than traditional continental plus the service staff was super nice and helpful We’ll definitely be back

David Estes

An incredibly clean roadside motel Staff were helpful at check in Complimentary breakfast is a joke, so don’t look forward to that 🙁 There’s a bit of a weird vibe as they have a lot of long-term guests that are working in the community

Nothing flaky, all construction people rebuilding the town from the fires Just a bunch of people hanging around outside the rooms and smoking But we felt fine and safe the whole time Just not the most family friendly environment

Kimberly Karkov

Clean and nice place I am very happy with my stay here Staff is great

While the hotel can be hard to find if you don’t knoe the area, the hotel itself was amazing Friendly staff, pretty good breakfast, clean room, and quite beautiful The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear people in the hallway and the view was of the car wash and “shady hotel” near by but it made for some fun laughs

Would definitely stay again

Amy Tharpe

This place definitely holds up to every Hampton Inn that I’ve stayed at, it’s excellent The facility is well maintained, the grounds are spotless, and our room was extremely clean My favorite part about staying here is the incredible staff

Rian and Minette gave us superior quality customer service, and helped us make sure our kid and dogs were happy, and settled Our stay was lovely, and we will definitely be back

Sade Jones

Hotel nice and staff friendly; However, my car was targeted in parking lot a nasty disparaging racist note was left on it ,spit on my windshield and scratched, I reported It to staff on duty but I dont feel like they offered much help especially since I’m a frequent Hilton proprietor I recommend this location get a night time attendant to do parking lot rounds since the homeless and drug user population has noticeably increased in this area

Good for a single night’s stay The building is beautiful and well kept As other reviews say, the walls are paper thin so be courteous of others

Rooms are comfortably sized, but could use a runner or rug as the floors get dusty/dirty quickly Overall there could be more attention to detail There is plenty of street parking and lots of local shops to enjoy right outside the hotel doors

Eric Nelson

Have been stopping at Hotel Petaluma for years with my wife and two kids LOVE this place The building and the rooms are incredible and full of charm and character

Super clean Nice adds (including a fancy white noise machine and great coffee) Beyond that, the staff are excellent We recently had an issue come up for us on our end (my fault), and not only were they willing to assist, they went above and beyond to help We also arrived when a huge wedding party was checking in on a Fri at check-in The front desk staff were quick and unflappable, and somehow amazingly friendly even with the busyness Will return for sure

My partner and I stayed at this hotel last week during our mini getaway from NYC The hospitality was amazing As soon as we got there we asked about local food spots and things to do

The concierge provided a print out of all the restaurants/ vineyards/ activities we could explore Literally was the best way to start our vacation During the stay I had issues with the tv remote a couple times and needed toilet paper to be restocked The staff provided assistance without hesitation which was great The fitness center met my needs to keep myself consistent on my workout regimen The Starbucks in the hotel was heaven sent because I NEED my coffee Overall I am completely satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and atmosphere of this hotel I would absolutely recommend and plan on going back soon

Shareen Harvey

I adore this hotel – clean, modern, and comfy I able we live in San Francisco and took a little escape to Petaluma for some rest in sweet petaluma, sun and a pool I ended up extending our stay

The breakfast at the cafe was absolutely delicious avocado toast, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, and lovely pasties and warm options as well They staff was lovely, prompt and very attentive My girls asked to never leave I highly recommend this hotel We drove into downtown for dinner in the river and walked and also walked around the neighborhood to see the lovely houses Great location, quiet, relaxing and we will be back

Rose Stewart

Beautiful hotel! I was very impressed and the customer service is excellent and coffee and breakfast excellent! Dinner and drinks are great too! Very happy with our stay My husband likes it cold and made it super cold in the room, air conditioner works fantastic I was so cold last night and they were wonderful and brought really thick blankets for me when I asked today

Very nice hotel Appreciate that it’s very kid and family friendly Will definitely have to check the pool out next time I go

Their burrito breakfast is yummy and it’s nice that they will customize it to your liking as much as they can Another great thing about this hotel is that they offer a shuttle that can bring you to Gratin Casino and can also pick you up from the casino back to the hotel!

AJ Joglekar

Great facility with clean rooms, excellent clean and well decorated bathroomsLocated close to golf course and Graton Casino with round the clock shuttle from the hotel Many Sonoma wineries in 20 miles circle

They have ample parking with free EV chargers – 1 x J1772 and 2 x Tesla destination which worked well I got 30 Amps with 200v They are first come first serve so hard to get at night when all guests are backVery courteous staff at the desk and breakfast barThey had complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks, and a well spread complimentary breakfast every morningWe had opted for a Valley View King bedroom which was very well sized with all amenities working There is no valley but a good view of open space in the back and the pool on the property

When I walked into the lobby it looked a little worn, so I immediately felt concerned The desk staff was very nice Our room was fine for us because we didn’t spend much time there

Breakfast was free and offered many options including eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, and fruits as well as many other cold options There is a pool and spa available but we used neither The location was perfect for us and the price was right

Jessica Leary

Travled from 3 hours away got there alittle after 12am the front Desk guy was super nice, got us checked in fast On my way to check out we noticed a peach tree and the grounds keeper came and picked us a few to take on the road my 3 year old was so excited and they were yummy! Definitely recommend this place We will forever stay here

Breakfast was also good beds were comfy, but the bathtub didn’t have a plug so my son was upset he couldn’t take a bath but not a big deal

Cheryl L

Door had huge gap at the bottom which is not safe and also invites bugs into room Towels are thin and too small as are pillows Motion sensor lights are disturbing when going to the bathroom at night

Bathroom fan is too loud Pool was dirty and unappealing, tv guide does not work Breakfast eggs are bad but sausages and waffles ok Needs coffee table in front of sofa Room has strong air freshener smell Do not stay here if you can help it! Ample parking Asked for room to be cleaned at 930 and told we were too late to request despite sign in bathroom saying to request by 11

Clean and friendly! I just stayed there for 6 nights, and it was great The room was small, but had everything I needed, including a refrigerator and microwave There is free breakfast every morning, and the staff is so friendly

The place is spotless and well taken care of I highly recommend this motel Last time I was in Petaluma, I stayed at a much more expensive place, and it was awful It was dirty and they cleaned the rooms every three days Here they will do a great job of cleaning every day Great place to stay and right next to a good restaurant too

Joel Mandel

Three and a half stars is what I want to say, but

It was OK but no more There just wasn’t anything to like about it The pool was clean but uninviting Just a swimming pool next to a parking lot full of cars and trucks Usable but why bother? Poor room design A great air conditioner that blew HARD on anyone sitting at the desk And that was on the low setting The desk and easy chairs were not comfortable No elevator, but I can still manage suitcases up a flight of stairs But the scariest thing was around 11 pm one night someone came down there hall and attempted to open every door And the staff weren’t interested in this when I told them the next day That really turns me off this place! Oh yes, and the free breakfast is cheap carbs No protein Which brings me to the best part of staying here: Cafe Bellini is next door and they send great food We breakfasted there every day and ate dinner most nights as well Cafe Bellini is highly recommended

Diane Bouvia

I love this place but I had a few issuesI won’t post because I already talked to customer relations because I am a Best Western Rewards memberSo everything is good

But I can’t write a good review per day

We didn’t stay at the resort, we just ate at the restaurant The service was excellent Staff saw us to a table without any wait

They took our order very quickly Our drinks and food were delivered expeditiously My beer (Racer 5 IPA from Bear Republic Brewing) was delicious The appetizer was delicious, although I don’t remember what they called it All in all, a pleasant way to spend an hour chatting with relatives

Boomer

The Front Room is the best bar/lounge in West County with a special nod to their bartenders Friendly, courteous, professional and they make the best espresso martini you’ve ever had And the fact they have Blind Pig on tap is just a bonus

Did I mention Happy Hour 5 days a week? I would give it a higher rating, but I’m limited to only 5

B ST

So beautiful, everyone is really niceThe restaurant is B U L L S H I TPortions are small, price is through the roof, frozen “country potatoes”

Their restaurant business model is simpleSpend all the money to make it look as nice as possible, charge based on how fancy it looks, and give college kids a microwave to cookSo horrible, but nice people and beautiful location

The hotel is extremely clean and quiet The beds were exceptionally comfortable The staff was very professional, warm, welcoming and friendly

The grounds are well kept and the restaurant has very good food I had the pesto chicken sandwich and it was actually amazing Would definitely recommend renting a car and driving to the state parks and walking through the forest

Jane Malo

Overall very nice stay Staff was friendly and welcoming Room was very clean and beds were comfortable

Nice convenient location Only suggestion is to avoid a room overlooking the bar/open lobby There was a very loud party happening in the bar and even though our room was on a higher floor, the laughing/screaming echoes up the open foyer Not the fault of the hotel, and I’m happy those guests were able to enjoy themselves, but had a long, early drive in the morning and they made it difficult to sleep

Tim Gladwin

Room was decent size and very clean There was a bit of noise from the pool (during the day) and from doors closing down the hall, but we slept well Bathroom ventilation didn’t seem to be working too well but no sign of mold

Reported it to the desk and they were checking it out Very handy to the Luther Burbank Center Good breakfast Ok recommend this hotel

Colton Mojesky

Overall, we had a good experience here The staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful While our room was nice, it was essentially located in the parking lot (room 9), which was very disappointing

All of the other rooms were in much better locations If you stay here, I would specifically request not to stay in this room Also, there is a complimentary wine and cheese hour, but the wine was unfortunately very low end, not what I would expect at this type of hotel located in wine country

Ethan Bachmann

The reception area is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable We stayed in the room with the stone soaking tub and it was gorgeous, the ambiance was perfect, and the tub was every we had hopedThe sake and wine offerings were a great touch

I loved sampling different sake and my wife loved sampling the different winesWe went here for our mini-moon but will certainly be back!

Walead Esmail Rath

The staff are wonderful but the place itself is a bit rundown and just not at all what you’d expect for the price The sound privacy in our room was bad (we could hear people in the hallway and on the street), the breakfast was half a step up from what you’d get at a hotel buffet, and the grounds are just very basic The rooms are priced like a luxury resort but what you get is very just ok

We were disappointed

This is one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s a refurbished silk factory and is super interesting They’ve incorporated a lot of the original architecture and design of the place

The hallway on the second floor does feel a bit eerie in the middle of the night though The girl who checked me in was so great Breakfast was so good, honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had The lady working the breakfast was so nice and sweet

This is the nicest Hampton Inn! The building has so much charm on the outside There is a fire pit and seating areas in the back of the hotel Inside the hallways are decorated and well lit

There’s free parking in multiple lots The fitness center is spacious for a hotel Breakfast is great The hotel is doing the regular breakfast where you can make a waffle, have a hot breakfast, muffins, yogurt and fruit Most hotels have stopped serving a full breakfast so it was nice to be able to enjoy

Love this place The furnishings and design try a bit too hard to be chic and modern but it might be that I’m too old school Comfortable beds, good HVAC, well trained, helpful staff, a GREAT breakfast, very effective window shades, and a very convivial fire pit for evening conversation

The rooms are a bit small with minimal storage and the bathroom storage is skimpy for an older couple with lots of bathroom gear, but it’s doable The Common Areas areas are a bit minimalistic I’d be glad to return

Clean modern rooms, comfortable beds and excellent blackout shades, refrigerators, coffee and safes Very comfortable lobby and lounge areas The very small pool and hot tub can get busy at peak times

The staff is extremely friendly and professional Shop rates online as they go very high at peak times Free parking around the perimeter of the hotel but it does get busy and you have to search for a spot at times Costco is located right down the street in case you need supplies Only about 3 minutes from the freeway on ramps and there is even a local pie shop / diner open 24 hours nearby Also located very near the casino

Stayed here for a couple of nights while our house was being worked on Very minimal “business center” while we were there No printer and front desk clerk was unhelpful

Rooms were nice though there was a problem with the door Five stars for the bar service No breakfast or microwave during our stay 35 overall but rounded up for bar employee Would not stay here to conduct business

The front desk clerk was amazing He was clear, thoughtful, and welcoming The breakfast was not stocked very well

The housekeeper we had was rude I left her a tip and instead of saying thank you she said oh where is it and when I told her she said fine and went straight to our room to get it I tried to find the managers email so I could let her know what happened and I could not find it so I decided to do a review I looked all over their website for it

I’ve stayed at La Quinta Santa Rosa several times in the past The hotel itself is fine but parking has always been a problem The parking space is small and tight and there always seems to be a lot of gigantic construction vehicles parked there

So they addressed the problem by charging guests $10/night to park there That’s right – when you arrive to check in, there is a sign at the desk announcing that there is a charge to park It’s not like you have any choice but to pay it And then you get to go back out to your car to put the parking pass on the dashboard so that you don’t get towedWhat’s next – a charge to use the elevator? I won’t be staying at this La Quinta Inn again
