Best viewsMy 1st time in Colorado and we stayed at Garden of the Gods resort We stayed in the king’s room which is a great room, the bathroom is huge and has an amazing jetted bathtub The only downside was the construction

We ate at the rocks, and The kissing camels both were delicious and had wonderful service The beach cafe has a Starbucks and the barista is the sweetest lady We loved starting our morning talking with herMy husband and I spent a day at the spa He got a haircut, and facial and I got a 50-minute massage They have a Himalayan salt room which was wonderfulWe did the falconry excursion and it was worth every penny Also, the Royal Gorge Train in canon city is a neat experienceGOG also offers car service for 75$ we used it to take us to the Rabbit Hole downtown and the restaurant has a great atmosphere along with great food and drinksA tip- we took snacks, and water to keep in our room along with coffee for the coffee machine

We visited Colorado Springs for a family vacation with two kids (11 and 4) Every single person in this resort went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and most memorable!! Special shout out to the front desk lady Maria, she was extremely caring and welcoming, next shout out if o Michael the valet person who was very nice and made sure to even wait until we open our room and are satisfied with our room (small gesture but makes a big difference!) Concierge lady Sara was so sweet, walked with me to the spa to make sure i get there and get the appointment

Super sweet waitresses Merillye who offered blanket for my toddler when they saw he was cold, entertained him for a while when i had to take a call

John S

My wife and I went there for a late lunch/early dinner The View is incredible, but the food has no flavor We ordered two “rock burgers” hamburgers which they heat up frozen hamburger patties, don’t season them so they don’t have any taste and change $42 ($19

00 a piece) I asked another person eating in the restaurant how his food was and he said his meat was dry and didn’t have any taste If we ever go back, we will just order drinks and enjoy the view

Super easy to book and check in! Our puppy was able to stay with us which we really appreciated The heated pool was nice and the hot tub was a bonus The people we met were very friendly

Parking was easy and free Our bed was small for a king size but incredibly comfortable Everything was clean and the balcony with Mountain View’s was a nice touch to our room I appreciated all the work being done to make their guest feel comfortable

Tina Heirls

This resort is fantastic The resort was much cleaner than our visit in 2020 If you have children this is a nice family type of resort

One negative for me is that all of the hand sanitizer machines were empty After the pandemic, I am more cautious with this and feel if they aren’t going to fill the machines, then remove them It looks like they don’t care The staff was somewhat not very friendly It doesn’t sound like it, but we really do love this place They have 2 pools, a lake, a beautiful restaurant in the main lobby and the resort to me feels like an inviting homey resort

Jenna M

If I could give 10 stars… I would The Cheyenne Mountain Resort was nothing short of magical The resort itself is amazing!!! We went for a weekend getaway and it was so peaceful

The rooms were clean and all of the food was AMAZING!The service was impeccable – especially Hannah at the Elevations restaurant along with Emily and Shawnee at the Country Club Best service I think I’ve ever had Also, make sure to get a Bloody Mary Delicious Highly recommend!!!

I have called IHG Customer Service six times now and have gotten no help While I was at this hotel I had too many bad instances and felt completely unsafe my entire visit1

Right when I arrived at my hotel, I found about 10 toe-nail clippings on the floor Horrible job cleaning2 There were 2-3 homeless people sleeping in the corner of the lobby with all of their belongings3 On my way back from the gym, I had a man get out of the elevator and began to walk towards me, smelling heavily of marijuana, and ask me to come with him He walked around the corner and then stopped However, this interaction was horrible I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable4 On Saturday night, as I was coming back to the hotel, the man at the front desk was shaking and said the cops had just left after people in the hotel were doing felonious activitiesAs a young woman and hearing multiple horror stories involving people attacking or abducting single women, this stay was the worst thing I have ever experienced

MP S

This may actually be a great place to stay! The room I was giving was spacious, clean, and the breakfast was what I expected My complaint is for not being able to control the temperature in this nice room The thermostat controlls two units that are both a heater and an ac in one

As I checked in during the winter months I would have been very happy with a 68-70F temperature setting It turns out that one of the two unit was heating whereas the other kicked on the ac The ac was stronger and managed to cool the room to a very uncomfortable 62F at 2am That caused the thermostat to shut off completely and it ironically started up just as I was about to check out Sleeping in my car in the winter in Colorado would have been a lot more comfortable!! I know this place fell victim to a bad sensor in the heater\ac unit but upon reporting the issue one could have reached out to me and help me to not feel so bad about my stay there 😥

They seem extremely understaffed We arrived around 12:30 PM The room was not ready until 4 PM

Yes, that’s the official “check in” time, but no other rooms were available?Front desk staff appear under-trained They do not do anymore than required No inquiry as to room availability (unless customer ask in person) No disclosure regarding room cleaning procedure — customer must request directly We needed to have them correct the door key 3 times during our 4 day stayHeavens, it’s a great hotel in downtown Colorado Springs Rates are reasonable Room in good shape, though it’s showing it’s ageThe restaurant/bar charges are extremely high — averaged $20/ drink Surprise! They need to work on communicating with the customers (no information re the hotel verbally or in writing in the room)I have gotten better customer service at Motel 6

Erin Jones

Staff was friendly, room was clean Those are the good things I have to say There were events in the hotel two of the three nights we were there and all of the restaurants were shut down for the duration of our stay

There wasn’t even an option to get a cup of coffee unless you went to Starbucks, or a glass of wine when you returned for the evening The rates were hiked, which I assume was due to the events (that we did not attend) The “arcade” is several games that my kids enjoyed, and I appreciated not having to pump them full of quarters, plus two pool tables The pool is tiny and dirty and I wouldn’t let my family in it There is a ton of space in the arcade room and pool deck that is underutilized Overall, I was very disappointed in what I had to pay for what I got The rooms were clean but outdated

Emily Foster

The second floor pool area is a huge waste of what could be a resort style pool They need to put in a bar and music, get many more chairs and tables with non broken umbrellas and put a restaurant in the “arcade” room They are sitting on an amazing space and really miss-using it

The rooms are gorgeous and the lobby is beautiful and the staff is amazing

Amazing place, amazing staff, and amazing experience We had so much fun it was hard to believe Our room was clean and comfortable

The service was above and beyond The food was delicious and handmade and getting handed a cup of coffee the way you like when you sit down in the morning just starts your day off right We will be going back again!!

C Lee

Had a very good time and breakfast was awesome Was able to smoke and chill anywhere on the property Nice view of the mountains from the back of the property

Beds was huge nice and comfortable Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the room we were in was not climate controlled No thermostat Owner claimed there was a fan that blew cool Air and there was not Just a heater Owner argued houses in Colorado dont have a/c and suggested we open a window that was non existent Owner told us that she would get us in a different room the next night that was climate controlled Never did For the 250 a night we payed I was expecting so much more, but overall a great experience other than that Friendly staff, great food, and snacks for when you get the munchies

Great place for overnight stay, the desk was very helpful and apologetic for nor getting a room on the first floorDon’t like to gripe, but I called the day before, the day of along with a note in my reservationI have a service dog, also had 5 back surgeries

With that said, I have my hands full just unloading and loading back all my bagsRequesting the first floor helps out with my disabilityThanks to the night clerk I rate it better, than I would have originally

This place is awesome, staff was incredible Especially TJ, he made us feel very welcome and went out of his way to accommodate us It was my daughters bday weekend and after a day of very upsetting issues, with plans we had around the springs area, we landed up at the hotel a little early

TJ helped us to get into our room Later that day we called for extra pillows and the front desk lady was so nice and brought the pillows up immediately The room was very clean and was very roomy for a family of 5, king suiteRegardless of the fire alarm that was set off that evening , due to someone pulling the alarm, it does not touch the exemplary service that this hotel offers !!! Thanks Home2suites staff you rock!

From booking (directly) to the end of the stay the experience was excellent The hotel staff was friendly, greeting us or wishing us a good day if we left to explore Tameka was exceptional and clearly excels at her position

We had a 2 queen bed room which had a large bathroom, a microwave and small refrigerator The room was clean and quiet and had a great view of the mountains The housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient We chose to eat our breakfasts at the restaurant on site because it was affordable, well prepared, and delicious The restaurant staff was friendly, and Shannon the waitress even remembered our preferences each day I did not get a chance to sit at the bar in the evening during our stay, but it is well stocked with numerous beer and liquor choices The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the area was clean and maintained We were also happy to discover the on site guest laundry which we unexpectedly needed to use for a load with detergent available for sale at the hotel convenience storeThe location puts it away from what I consider the major part of the Springs which we preferred because the area was quiet at night The location is still close enough, though, that driving anywhere is not difficult My family and I will undoubtedly return to visit Colorado Springs and this hotel will be our first choice each timeThank you!

Try Again

I absolutely LOVE this hotel!! The staff, the rooms, the checkout time, everything is amazing here! The ONLY complaints I have, are the fact that breakfast isn’t included in the room rates, & getting your deposit for incidentals when using cash app can take up to a month But that’s too be expected with most of the 4/5 star hotelsOther than those two things, (which are kind of a big deal), this hotel is fantastic

Staff has always been so welcoming & friendly at check-in, I know I’m a valued customer If you ever need a place to stay I highly recommend this hotel!! Very comfortable place, very clean, just all around wonderful hotel!! Will be back!!!

Jennifer Doane-Littman

We spent 5 days in this hotel Everything was fantastic Tameka made sure we had a beautiful room with a Moutain view

Gorgeous! We ate almost every breakfast at the hotel Kitchen staff made amazing food Shannon our server was so accommodating It’s difficult to travel with a health issueShe made sure I was able to order what I needed We will be back to the springs often and this is where we will stay Thank you for making us feel at home when we were there

Martin Keuchkerian (My_FoodieVerse)

I had to stay here for a work trip, and I would not stay here againIt does not deserve a 1 star because it has redeeming qualities, but for the price tag it’s not worth itThe rooms are nice

Spacious, clean and the bathroom is okay The hotel does have a hot tub and modern cardio machines which is definitely a plus That’s about all the goodThe breakfast selection is pretty awful Very limited options, and 2 out of the 5 days I stay there they didn’t have breakfast service so instead they gave out paper bag with gas station biscuit sandwiches, a orange juice box, and a muffin Not only this is extremely unhealthy and cheap, it made me feel like I was 10 getting my lunch from schoolThe bathroom shower door also didn’t stay closed It kept sliding open because it was placed at a small inclineOverall, not worth staying here even with the hot tube offering

Gavin Dahlstrom

I’ve always stayed at Holiday Inns for the hot breakfast buffet It was advertised on the listing but was not provided All we were given was a cold breakfast sandwich and a muffin

When you pay close to $115 a night you would expect the hot breakfast that was advertised Also, the body wash was completely out when I arrived, I asked for some and was told housekeeping would fill it in the morning That never happened Overall the room was nice and comfy but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Holiday Inns

Sarah Delgado

When booking we asked to be placed on a non smoking floor but when we arrived our room smelt awful We were in a room with a connecting door to the neighbors room and the Oder of Marijuana was seeping through the door We attempted to ask the front desk for a new room but were denied

My kids had a hard time sleeping due to the smell and woke up with a sore throat No one followed up with us which was very upsetting We paid a good amount of money thinking it would be a nice hotel since we have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before but instead we had a horrible experience with no resolution or empathy

Kasey Raia Stout

What a cool hotel! Lots of great history, and at check-in we got an informational sheet with a timeline and narrative about the hotel I really appreciated this! Also, I grew up in Colorado Springs, so when the building got renovated into a hotel, I was excited to see that it became more of a restoration project Many of the architectural details have been kept and maintained which is really cool to see

Additionally, the room was very nice with exposed brick and a big shower (with 2 shower heads!) We are very glad we got to stay in this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again! The location is excellent with a quick walk to everything downtown!

Andrea Goetz

I’ve traveled to CO Springs regularly for work over the past few years, and I just love this hotel – I look forward to coming out here every time knowing that I’ll have a great experience at the Mining Exchange, if nothing else The lobby has a Gatsby-esque vibe and is especially beautiful during the holiday season Location is great, easily walkable to many of the downtown restaurants and shops

The staff is great, but especially the valets, who are among the most delightful people you could hope to meetThe attached restaurant is excellent and well suited to travelers I’ve also treated myself to a massage at the spa on the ground floor, and it was fantastic Bathrooms are exceptional If I have a criticism, some of the rooms do show their age a bit and could use a carpet and paint update

Brice Helman

Definitely one of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed at with a unique personality charm The old building feel with modern and comfortable outfitting The room and bed is extremely comfortable and it sits in a quiet part of town

The location is close to everything downtown but that makes for challenging parking Be prepared to just valet it for $25/night It will be the best option Also, the shower has two separate shower headsthat’s all I’m saying

Great place to stay! My husband and I were traveling from Montana to Oklahoma and were able to stop here at 4 in the morning and they let us have a late check out of 1pm The beds were comfortable too not to firm and not to soft Amazing customer service and the place was extremely clean

Very modern and minimalist as well as it gives off a very free and relaxing atmosphere Will definitely stay again if we’re ever driving through in the future

Lacy Cashman

This hotel was a wonderful surprise I was coming into town for my high school reunion and wanted to stay somewhere central to get back to Denver, see my sister to the south, and head west for the reunion I got in earlier and requested an early check-in

The staff was able to accommodate my request – (I did paid an upgrade charge and early check-in fee) – and got me into a room after traveling over night and a long layover at the Vegas airport The staff was friendly and welcoming with each interaction The rooms were fun and the bed was comfy I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the plant wall My kids joked that I must have felt like I was at home Will definitely stay again when visiting and look for other locations Again, thank you for getting me into a room super early so I could shower and head to my reunion, you made a huge difference in my day

Stephanie Herman

I stayed here a little over two years ago and remember it being a very pleasant experience The facilities were well taken care of, gym was fully stocked and clean and it didn’t felt scary here All reasons why I booked my entire stay in CO Springs at SCP two years later

I requested early check in about a week and a half before my stay, and was even charged for it So when I arrived at 3 pm (only an hour early) to check in I was shocked my room wasn’t ready Even after 4pm I was being told it wasn’t ready Shout out to Charles though who has great customer service skills and helped me get checked in and assisted me with my TV that wasn’t working It is almost impossible to sleep here even after being worn out from hiking all day because of the noise level outside You can hear everything The area feels super sketchy and besides going to my car to leave for my daily activities I didn’t really feel comfortable leaving my room to go check out the pool and definitely didn’t want to leave my room after dark as I was on my trip alone Within 5 minutes of arriving I was approached by a homeless person begging for money My room was fine, not dirty like other reviews said Many towels did have stains on them though The gym looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the first time I stayed here and is definitely missing equipment that used to be there Was really disappointed because I really loved this place the first time I came Unfortunately would not recommend, especially if you’re traveling alone or a family

Our team just got back from a week retreat in Colorado Springs We absolutely loved our stay here Connie worked with us to get everything set up for all our team members and schedule out the conference rooms and group meals

Everything went so smooth The property has an amazing view The restaurant on site is surprisingly good The kids loved having both the indoor and outdoor pool options The team also liked the ability to take morning and evening hikes right from the property Thank you for making this a memorable stay for our group 🙌

Patti McCumber

I cannot say enough good things about this property We found ourselves stuck in Colorado Springs after a car issue driving from Illinois to move my daughter back to Arizona State University We made a reservation sitting at the car dealer and we were at the check in desk less than 10 minutes later

Lauren greeted us with a huge smile and immediately made us feel better She provided water and along with Patti, the manager, got us a great room with a large workspace we needed The room is clean, comfortable and very well appointed Lauren even checked on us later to see how we are doing and has given us a late check out to hopefully coincide with our car being ready to roll again in the afternoon We ate in the hotel restaurant, and Lance, the bartender, was wonderful as well! I just cannot say enough good things about this hotel We will be back and I will send everyone I know here if they are traveling through Colorado Springs

Dan Hagenow

My wife and I stayed one night here during our honeymoon, and it was by far the best stay of our trip! There were so many things we enjoyed, the outdoor pool/spa is AMAZING, and includes some beautiful mountains views! We got the concierge package, which included snacks, dinner, and breakfast There are also a bunch of hiking trails you can take advantage of as well right outside of their gate! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Flew in from NYC and although we did not choose to swim the pool and hot tub seemed awesome! Complimentary breakfast was wonderful 😄… the only bad thing I would say about the room is that it smelled like previous guests smoked in the room sorta like an astray smell and one of the bed covers had a burn hole… they have signs of no smoking and $250 fines but people will be people I was in room 110 hopefully it was just my room I totally recommend this place!

Alexis Laird

Cross country traveling and stopped here on our way through Colorado! Was greeted with a smile and taken checked in quickly! Our room was clean with great water pressure in the shower A full hot breakfast was provided with eggs sausage waffles pastries muffins and coffee The dryer wasn’t working properly so the front desk helped us out by finishing up our laundry in the house keeping dryers

Pool and hot tub also clean and well maintained!

Tami Hunter

Overall the rooms were really amazing and had everything that you might need The pool was awesome as well, however the time we went the hot tub was fully taken over by other guests and they would not share the hot tub The staff were really kind and friendly, and the location was in a great part of town with enough lights to make the parking lot feel safe

Breakfast was good Bar upstairs was small but nice Rooms are big

Swimming pool big, clean, and plenty of towels but cold not really heated, maybe because its outside in an enclosure and not inside the building? The best part of the hotel is the staff, nice and helpful!!!! Lobby is beautiful Usually able to check in earlier that check in time but understand not always going to be that way Shopping and more restaurants up the road maybe 10 min Quiet Great to have a microwave, fridge, coffee in room

Great hotel!!! I arranged for a block of rooms at this hotel for my son’s wedding last weekend While I did not personally stay there overnight, the family and friends that did had nothing but positive comments on everything from the linens, to breakfast, to cleanliness, to the pool and even an arcade room! The staff made a good first impression on our initial visit months ago when they gave us a very thorough tour and information although we arrived unannounced Most importantly, the staff at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming, and available for assistance at all times and there was a lot of coming and going from our group

Additionally, I must give a huge shout out to Melinda, the catering and sales manager, for her assistance with setting up the room block, discussing a potential banquet meal at the hotel, answering my questions promptly, keeping good communication flowing throughout, putting up a welcome sign for our group and for going above and beyond to assist us with getting a last minute room to avert a potential crisis She was an absolute joy to work with and at this time, when good customer service is so difficult to find, I found her to be extremely helpful, professional, and caring! I knew I didn’t have to worry about the hotel experience for our guests I very highly recommend using this hotel!!!

We booked this hotel because of the pool and kids area This was the only decent part of the stay The rooms were old, ac barely worked, the bathtub wouldn’t drain while taking a shower, the coffee machine in the room didn’t work, the environment of the hotel and surrounding area was not friendly we didn’t feel completely safe the entire visit

The hot tub was not hot We didn’t want to have to move rooms so we stayed in our room but told the front desk of the issues and the response was “I’m sorry” $139 a night

This place is very big and is under construction in some areas We checked in and the front looked great But when entering from the side it was terrible

First of all the hallway and room had a weird smell Shady guests followed up us the stairs and told us to lock our cars (we always do) and that a lady had left after a few minutes Next, they joked that they were the reason she left The parking lot was bustling with shady people in and out We didn’t feel safe in the area and the room was far too disgusting to stay in Pet prints on walls and doors, hand prints on headboards, dusty, musty, no lights or appliances were plugged in There was stuff where the mattress met the boxspring like glitter, dust, and crumbs When we ran down to our car we noticed that the carpet was wet and that is where the smell was coming from The balcony was so gross Cigarettes left outsideWe left within an hour Thankfully after some debate we were able to get our money back

Obviously not the CGI picture they flaunt Instead, it’s just slapped over an old building’s logoAs you get to the room, you pass frames that are falling apart and various things that are in a state of repair (rooms, electrical, hot tub, etc)

The first couple of items, I was happy to see being repaired However, by the time you get to the pool and see work also being done there, I’m left wondering if everything is just busted all the timeWe got to the room which was overall nice Except for my kids finding a bloody tissue in their bed… And me finding pretzel stick pieces in mine I definitely hope this was just a fluke in housekeepingThe AC unit was fine Not the best we had but certainly not the worst I’ve ever seen The woman at the front was very pleasant during check-in The kids liked the pool and playground thing, but it’s just overall hard to get over finding that stuff in our beds

We came down from Denver for an event at the Broadmoor This was our first time staying here There were a lot of great facets to our experience here, but I want to highlight just one of them: guest service excellence

From arrival to departure, the staff has been nothing but pleasant and accommodating The valet service kicked off an incredible stay, helping us unpack our car and bringing our luggage to our room with a smile The concierge helped us make arrangements for dinner for both nights, making the planning effortless The staff at the restaurants onsite were professional but didn’t shy away from showing a good sense of humor Even walking through the halls of the buildings, as soon as one makes eye contact, one can expect a friendly greeting I could sense there was a pride, even passion, for making the guests feel warm and welcome While the food was great (albeit pricey), and the rooms were comfortable and clean, the highlight was the guest service experience(PS we loved the setting of the Broadmoor complex, with the mountains as the backdrop That is hard to beat)

We spent close to a week at this hotel and had no real big complaints The staff was always so nice, rooms were nice, the views were great, the courtyard was relaxing, pool was huge, and there seems to be more than enough parking in the parking lot, even with a few trucks and their ATV trailers You had a bit of a luxury feel without it breaking the bank

For the price, this place was excellent

This place seems well suited to extra large parties and conventions massive seating areas Starbucks inside friendly front desk workers The halls seem to have trash everywhere you wind but not a lot but noticeable, it took about 24 hours for any articles on the floors of the halls to be removed The rooms are nice clean up-to-date most contain a balcony

If your room has a balcony bring your noise counseling headphones because these sliding doors do not I repeat do not dampen any outside noise but all in all I liked it, I’d stay there again

I booked this hotel because they are dog friendly Friendly & helpful front desk staff Beautiful lobby, bar, and restaurant area as soon as you walk in

The restaurant food was good, I had the Kobe hot dog my son had an American burger We were not disappointed The rooms are a tad out dated The beds are very comfortable The pool area is big Unfortunately, we got stuck on the other side of the hotel so it is quite a walk from our room but not a big deal I did not realize how big this hotel was! I would stay here again The location is great it is close to restaurants, shopping, and not far from downtown
