Overall great hotel By far the best lighting I have ever had in any bathroomEverything worked fine, nice buffet style breakfast which is constantly monitored and filled with nice assortment

All staff friendly and helpful, lots of parkingBed is fine with many pillows and an easy to work tv with on screen show selection Very easy checking and even got us in early

One of the best breakfast rooms Nice room and pool but

When I went to open the windows I saw there were no screens on the windows at all Both windows open fully All it would take would be for a parent to be napping or in the bathroom a child could easily climb out that window and fall to their death Unbelievably dangerous not to mention a multi million dollar law suit

Fun one night stay! I enjoyed the beach, the view from the rooms, going hiking, socializing with other guests, and the hot tub! Nice, friendly staff Noise travels really easily between the outside and rooms though, and so I wouldn’t recommend staying here without ear plugs This party, social environment was fun, but I also wish after 10pm that quiet hours were enforced when it comes to noise coming from the fire pit area

Their conversation and laughter woke me up briefly close midnight I slept fine the rest of the night with ear plugs, but if quiet at night is important to you I wouldn’t recommend staying here, or maybe if it’s possible you can ask for a room that is in a quieter location?

This is an amazing boutique hotel with attention to detail The staff even noticed that I wore colorful socks everyday! I was greeted upon my arrival with champagne, and from there the wine kept flowing I got married here in 2014

The grounds are beautiful This is truly an experience and not just a stay My room had a fireplace, jacuzzi, and a comfy bed They were very knowledgeable about the area and sent us to the local wineries such as Chateau St Michelle I will remember this day forever thanks to them R I P Peter Nault

I booked a one night stay for some relaxation while traveling through, and this looked like the most posh spot in the Woodinville area It seems to be a popular retreat for weddings and corporate events, and there was one of each happening that weekend so occupancy was quite full Very nice spacious rooms with large soaking tub and all the perks you’d expect from a boutique resort

Beautiful gardens to stroll around and look at wildlife, including the two resident miniature pigs It’s great to have several dining options right on site rather than venturing further away to find somewhere to eat (the restaurant had staffing issues, but that’s a separate review) I only wish we could have stayed longer, but at $1k per night I’ll wait for it to be on the company’s tab next time

Nice La Quinta hotel The lobby was under renovation during my stay, but that had no impact on my experience The staff was super friendly and pleasant, and my room was clean and comfortable; I had an excellent sleep

My cat also enjoyed his stay Hot breakfast was included (I love those waffle machines), but there are also other food options near the hotel No complaints

Marla Thurman

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Spokane Valley a couple weeks ago We were in town for work and it seemed pretty centrally located Super easy to get on to the interstate and really close to a couple streets that will take you straight into downtown if you want to stay off the highway

Room was standard, no problems; really it was a bit expensive for what it is The front desk people were great, no complaintsSpokane isn’t “dirty” but there are sketchy folks all over There was a guy “fighting a tree”, screaming, bleeding a bit and yelling at anybody who came close to him Nobody wanted to help and nobody wanted to call police either I don’t have the answers, but it was odd to me that the behavior was considered okay on hotel property I was a little worried about the rental car, but we made sure it was properly empty every nightThe breakfast in the morning was okay at best If you are just going to put out cereal, yogurt and fruit, so be it But if you venture into hot food like breakfast burritos, at least make sure they aren’t god awfulAll and all, the hotel itself is fine We certainly paid too much At that kind of price, we wouldn’t stay there again

Adan Nava

I want to start by saying this hotel is amazing! We were on our way to Silverwood and called pretty early if there was any room available which we were told they did Check in was super fast, we were able to change and take a quick break before our adventure The next day we interacted with our housekeeper Melissa, she was the best experience we had! Told my kids how they can swim at the pool, we bumped into her later and gave us a recommendation on how to drink hot chocolate

Needless to say we will be back because of the great staff and amazing customer service!

Adam Davis

A very friendly hotel that goes out of its way to cater to guests More than you would expect from a hotel in this price range It’s not a cookie cutter floor plan

There are rooms that open to a patio with a water fountain, putting green, and outdoor lounging Other suites have an outdoor entrance directly to the parking lot and dog walk The staff keeps refreshments available throughout the day The breakfast dining area has both indoor and shaded outdoor seating The rooms have been updated recently with modern accents

Very nice hotel overlooking the Pacific Really nice room with shower and tub separate(a really nice tub for taking baths) and a fireplace Perfect for a romantic getaway or just general relaxation

Staff was super friendly and the On site restaurant was really good Overall a very good hotel The one negative thing is that it’s very close to a train line(they do provide ear plugs) so it can be noisy at sporadic times during the day and night

Hannah

The Hotel Bellwether may be a better option for those searching for an elevated experience and warm hospitality The staff is lackluster and jaded- not too friendly I sat outside my the hotel as I waited for my room to be ready for over an hour

Just to describe the scene, I have a toddler and a nursing infant We sat In the car I called a couple times and the staff acted bothered every time I called Finally, 10-15 min after the public was allowed to officially check in, I still didn’t have a room (04:10 pm) (My friend who isn’t a Hilton member got a room right away at 3 pm) Once in the room, there were pack-n-plays for the children but they were pretty filthy Not worth “bothering front desk” My friend spent her honeymoon night there and she didn’t receive any special treatment I had to request to get her room cleaned I could write a full review but I already think the reader must understand at this point This hotel doesn’t go the extra mileGorgeous views though Get a drink and save the money on overnight stay!

Wayne O

We’ve stayed here several times over the last couple years and have always been pleasedThe rooms are clean and well appointed They are near the boardwalk it always makes a nice stroll

The view is fantastic if you like the bayand trainsSo we are both railroad train fans Saying that, if you are a rail fan too, you may really like it here as the trains pass very close We noticed on the last visit that the train horns were not being sounded as they past directly by the property But you’ll hear the rumble It’s never been a problem for us, and they do provide ear plugs

Devon at the front desk went above and beyond for us The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and never wanted to get out of bed it was so comfortable The only very minor thing was housekeeping only left 2 cups in the room and 3 different types of single serve coffees

1 decaf, 1 medium roast and 1 bold No cups for the ice bucket or bathroom either What if you had 4 people in the room with 2 queens You would have to ask for more cups and coffee (which we did) or share I realize this is pretty minor, all you’d have to do is ask for more but when you pay that much for a room for 2 nights they should stock it accordingly Shouldn’t have to ask for something that should be automatic

I had the pleasure of spending 6 nights here recently The hotel staff was polite and professional When I extended my original 3 day reservation to an additional 3 days they were more than happy to rearrange so that I could remain in the same room

The breakfasts are cooked fresh daily with a few basic options There is a nice looking pool, bar, and fitness center as well The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the neighborhood safety Yes, it’s ideally located across the street from the new Town Center Park and the local Performing Arts Center however the homeless and open drug use makes it so that I would not recommend walking after dark or straying away from where people are congregating

Daisy Taylor

I only gave 4 stars for the room for 2 reasons1 because the bed was uncomfortable

It felt like a cushioned box spring The mattress is ready to be replaced And most of the pillows were lumpy feather pillows I can’t use feather pillows2 I could hear EVERYTHING happening outside of my room in the halls Made sleep a little tricky when the other guests were in the halls partyingBUT!The staff were amazing! They were so kind and helpful A true delight to interact with and the rooms were very clean The view was amazing and you can’t argue with the hotel’s location Its at the heart of all shopping in Federal Way just 5 minutes from the highway and only 20 minutes from the SeaTac airport

Kevin Bonnelly

I would not recommend The women at the counter was literally rolling her eyes while we were checking-in No special requests, she just seemed to hate her job so much

The housekeepers are only coming each 3 days (because of covid they say), so for a two nights stay, we’ve never seen them We had to put our trash in the hallway because there was no bin outside the roomWe were 4 in the room, but we had barely enough pillows for 3, and only 2 washclothes, for 3 days !The room was very noisy, the bed was shaking when people were running in the corridor, waking us all upThe only positive point I would give is a fast checkout

This hotel is probably optimal for Boeing visitors but the location is terrible for anyone else Rooms are fine but I paid extra for a partial lake view

I could only see the lake looking sideways very close to the window This is rip-off I requested room service and the bed was made, but the room and bathroom were only partially cleaned Last, nothing to do around No decent restaurant walking distance (the only good one is closed half week) The lake shore walk is pretty nice though

Richard Malone

I love the Hyatt Regency at Lake Washington It’s always a pleasure staying here The rooms are very clean, the staff amazing and very helpful

The location is close to various restaurants and shopping opportunities at The Landing and a movie theater is also at The Landing Lake Washington is right outside the North side of the hotel and a park with access to the lake is available to the public Amenities are available upon request The restaurant food looks great and is on the high side price wise I’m looking forward to trying it on my next visit Update will be posted after I have a meal there!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at ⭐♥️ Located right next to a Black Bear Diner (delicious! 😋), the location is automatically awesome! The man at the front desk was super friendly and informative about the area He drew me a map of the Olympic loop to take and he was very helpful

The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were spacious and clean I loved the view out of my window with a cattle farm and neighborhood across the road, and of course the trees 🌲💚 Rooftop deck was beautifully landscaped and had lots of room for just hanging out and stargazing 🌆🌌 Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious! They even prepared me a large to-go box since I had to be on my way Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!

This was literally one of the best hotels we have stayed in First impression: very neat and clean, we were welcomed by a very friendly front desk employee We had a reservation so check in was super simple

Get to our room and it too was very neat and clean The beds were very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Plenty of outlets to plug in many devices Continental breakfast was very good and filling, unfortunately our flight home was very early Sunday morning so we only could partake in one breakfast morning Plenty of seating as well Very cozy, we used the common area for afternoon drinks and conversation with some of our other wedding party members I highly recommend this hotel

Patricia McElroy

I see some of the negative reviews and I seriously don’t get it This is a Holiday Inn, not some luxury hotel That said, I have been here 2 weekends in a row for an event, and will return for a third

Both of my rooms were clean and quiet despite the hotel being fully booked Everything worked fine The check in and check out process is a breeze The desk staff were friendly and efficient I was very impressed – in fact, I have had less pleasant stays at luxury establishments I will be back

Kat Tower

CONS: The shower and toilet had hair on them when we arrived The toilet paper and facial tissue had not been replaced before we arrived A light bulb was out; when the front desk person replaced it, they didn’t have the right bulb so it still didn’t work

The phone didn’t work unless we put it on speaker The front desk person was not very professional, sharing information about their staffing issues and even said, “at least there are no bugs” when we asked her to get the bathroom cleanedwhich of course made me wonder if they’d had complaints about bugs! We did not have a “Do Not Disturb” sign to hang from our doorPROS: Inexpensive, so I guess we got what we paid for! Breakfast was good, with multiple high-quality options (such as brand-name organic yogurt) Everything was clean – of course, aside from our bathroom When we notified them that our bathroom was not clean, they did send the cleaning crew, who re-cleaned the whole bathroom for us Flat screen TV was nice Armoire was nice Bed was really comfy

This hotel is great! We took a quick mother’s day trip and decided to stay here Free breakfast is always amazing but they also offer free soup and salad in the evening from 5-7 I’ve never stayed anywhere that offered this amenity as well as complimentary drinks (beer, wine, hard seltzer)! We had a room with a balcony which looked out to the water

Very pretty view! Our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub They also have a sauna and steam room We definitely will be back

Kristina Spencer

My favorite place to stay Great evening reception with soup and salad, drink tickets, beautiful view and kind staff Loved the workout room options, sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool

For the price it really was an excellent deal for us! Close to so many things and lots of extras Very comfortable beds, high ceilings, great shower water pressure All around great

Savannah Lesch

It can be hard to find a good hotel – and reviews are often all over the place – but we were very happy with our stay here It was within walking distance to Starbucks, 7-11, multiple restaurants and the waterfront Our toilet ran throughout the night and when we mentioned it they offered to send someone immediately- at 10pm even

We did not need it fixed but wanted them to know going forward- it didn’t bother us but we know others can be more sensitive to that kind of thing We were able to bring breakfast up to our room to enjoy with the bay view and didn’t hear anyone else from inside our room

We love these places! Got our passports, and are having a blast filling them up We always meet some interesting people, too 💖😎Since there are no refrigerators in the rooms, they should offer ice, and ice chest rentals (We brought a rolling cooler) Only a suggestion

The staff really rock it The grounds are really beautiful also

Ashli Van De Weert

We had a wonderful time and stay at The Anderson School We were visiting Seattle after attending a wedding in Mt Rainier National Park and absolutely loved the hotel and room we were in The ceilings are insanely tall and the room was spotless

The pool was big and my son loved it The restaurants were good other than poor table service one night they were very busy We understood they were understaffed at the time There were constantly people stoking and adding firewood to their fireplaces and fire pits in the courtyard Lastly, we had bought movie tickets and there was a mix up with an event they were having Instead of just refunding us the money, they gave us a private showing! Really cool hotel with lots of history to learn about The restaurant on site was delicious and had a cool atmosphere The lagoon looked really nice, I’ll have to swim if I stay here again

The only downside to our room was it didn’t have a fridge Even a small one would be nice, especially since it was almost 90 degrees when we stayed there

An absolutely wonderful night spent along the river My wife and I stopped through on a brief road trip The Grandparents were kind enough to care for our toddler for the weekend and The Lodge provided a much-needed getaway

The room was spectacular, well appointed with a nicely stocked wine selection The view of the river was gorgeous, the walkout patio was peaceful and serene, and the bed provided the best night’s sleep in what felt like monthsAccess to the Riverfront trail is literally steps from the balcony and a peaceful evening walk was the perfect end to a long day in the carIt seems silly to actually talk about now, but the lotion the hotel provides in the bathroom is exceptionally nice Unfortunately I didn’t catch the brand, but my wife raved about it!The restaurant, Drumheller’s, is almost unbelievably good and blows all other potential dining locations around it out of the waterOverall, the experience was so good we are now trying to find out how to return with our son and (large) dog for another wonderful weekend Thank you to the staff for making our stay exceptional!

This is our second time at the lodge Booked the king suite this time was amazing! The views are exceptional especially during sunset! The customer service with the cookies was awesome! My family loves coming here! The restaurant for Father’s day was good

services was a little slow and not because of our server but it was busyit was fathers day so completely expected The cheese board was A+!

This was a somewhat last minute trip as my grandmother passed away unexpectedly Booking was extremely easy, as was check in & check out The only reason I’m not giving The Lodge 5 stars all around is because of the room we were in smelled HORRIBLE! We mentioned it at checkout & were told it was probably the new carpet

It smelled like formaldehyde & it was absolutely overwhelming Thankfully the room had big doors we could open for fresh air Wine available as well which helped too lol Would we stay here again? Yes! Do we feel that room & new carpet should’ve been aired out or ventilated prior to occupants staying? Also yes! Someone had to have walked into that room prior to our reservation & known it was damn near unbearable!

They helped us host a fantastic, intimate wedding in less than 2 months The staff was accommodating, professional, and friendly They even got us into our hotel room (the lighthouse) extremely early so the groomsmen could use it as a place to get ready as well as utilize it for photos

The food was excellent, the wait-staff prompt, and the bartender was friendly and made excellent drinks

Lovely hotel on the water with plenty of character The staff are all very helpful and cheerful The hotel has bikes and helmets that you can borrow to cycle around the area which is a really nice touch

Breakfast was also good The only downside is they have a decorative fire outside the building which looks cool but is a waste of fuel and emissions

Extremely disappointed My husband and I came here for our wedding night as we got married nearby I had heard only great things, loved what I read/saw online and even thought it would be a beautiful place to comeback to for anniversaries

We are big fan of jacuzzis and booked here solely because they had a room with a jacuzzi tub available When we arrived, we discovered that they upgraded our room to one without a jacuzzi We told the front desk staff that we’d be willing to downgrade to a smaller room with the tub we wanted but no such rooms were available We couldn’t speak to the manager until check out the next morning and I was surprised that after hearing how unhappy we were, he offered us a 10% refund We both left pretty dissatisfied and the whole thing left such a sour taste that we didn’t take his offer Now, whenever we are in the area (we have a lot of family nearby) or the hotel comes up in conversation, we don’t feel like staying there nor recommending it What’s worse, our negative experience at Hotel Bellwether is all we think of when we remember our wedding night

We stayed here just before flying out for vacation and we are really glad we did The service was awesome and the food was great as well Having a place to stay before flying out that will keep your vehicle and take you to the airport then pick you up is like having that really awesome family member helping you out

It made out vacation so much better We also stayed there when we flew back and got the same awesome service

Myesha Kirby

We had a great experience here rooms were nice, bathroom were perfect for what we were looking forward to Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been a bit better but for the most part it was great Casino was pretty heavy on the smoke, maybe could use a little better ventilation system but they do have a non smoking area

All in all we would stay here again

Darlene Seward

I didn’t stay at the hotel I went to their summer theater and saw Brad Paisley perform It was a huge crowd but it was handled very well by the casino and they had lots of staff there to help you find your seats and to direct you in the right direction The security was very good but not invasive of your personal space so that was wonderful

The only issue is their parking and the large distance that you have to walk to get into their event other than that it was a perfect experience
