Room was perfectly cleaned, the whole hotel was very clean Restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is very good, the prices line any hotel The rooms are not the typical Holiday Inn room

The are minimalistic style I thought the decor looked old I think they should have replaced the doors when they remodeled, they look like they have been painted 20 times You can tell that the lady renovation was only partial Still a decent place to stay, wonderful bed and the rooms are super quiet from outside noise However, in the hallways you can hear every conversation and Inter room you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways It has a very nice pool They charge guest for parking, that cost the hotel one whole star Noise issue, another star Still recommend it

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you won’t be let downThe room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable The water pressure leaves something to be desired, but outside of that evening was great I never did see the hotel restaurant open and checked at all times of day There is a cooler in the lobby with drinks for purchase and some snacks as well Ricardo is the nicest staff person there He was always kind and helpful I’d stay here again if I were in the area

If you’re coming from out of town, be aware that this hotel is not in the best area The inside itself was nice and the hotel staff was great The experience was strange however

This was the first hotel I’ve been to where you need your room key to use the elevator and you’re only able to go to your room floor On one hand it ensure your safety, but on the other, you have to wonder why they do that There are some homeless people in the area, so that may be why When my husband and I were sitting at the restaurant, a homeless guy walked in, put his bags at the table beside us and went to use the restroom We are from a small town in Southern Ontario and aren’t used to seeing that (even amongst all the places we’ve traveled to) We quickly finished eating and left We went for a walk to the convenience store across the road and there were sketching characters around, so just be mindful of that if you’re walking around outside the hotel The room was average, but clean We found it pricey for what it was, but I think all of Tampa is expensive The restaurant was ok, but the service was terrible We had a Philly steak sandwich for dinner which was good, but we had to ask for things like ketchup, etc as it was never offered They also didn’t take a drink order and then give us time to look at the menu They dropped off the menu and came right back and said do you know what you want to order It was strange We went back for breakfast as it was convenient Again, the service was not good I ordered waffles and they were the worst waffles I’ve ever had and the coffee wad terrible I would go somewhere else! All in all, our stay wasn’t terrible, but given the area, I’d likely find somewhere else to stay if I ever went back to Tampa

I travel frequently for work and I have never experienced such great hospitality and service The hotel and rooms were very clean and updated The pool area was beautiful and provided lounge chair food and beverage service

The staff from front desk, valet, housekeeping, and in room dining staff were all very friendly and helpful I even had daily maid service That is hard to find these days and this hotel completely nailed it! I can’t wait to return

Connor Jewiss

This hotel is fantastic Having stayed in other properties nearby, this one is the best by far The rooms are fantastic, and so are the amenities

Upon arriving as a Bonvoy Gold member, I was instantly upgraded to one of the highest floors After my flight was cancelled, they easily allowed me to stay an extra night in a room, which was also upgraded, and at a reduced rate All the staff are incredibly friendly, from the front desk, the bell staff, housekeeping, valet, restaurants, pool, and bar The rooms were spotless, and the pools incredibly refreshing Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, and will certainly be staying here again!

Teresa T

Beautiful and luxurious hotel with lots of amenities The staff is friendly and very helpful Clear signs touch screen elevator and there is plenty of food options on property

They honor the privacy tags at the door Plenty of USB and outlets in the room They have slippers and mouthwash too if those matter to you (I certainly appreciate it) Basically everything you would anticipate in an upscale room I would recommend and definitely returnI would appreciate vents in the bathroom I also didn’t see a lock

Excellent experience Stayed here for a convention in January Room was super clean and everything was functioning

Amenities for my room were nice (the mini fridge was a lifesaver), although I wish they included a microwave Housekeeping did an amazing job on all three times Every member of the staff I interacted with was helpful and friendly Location is in close proximity to restaurants and more I had a great stay and I recommend this hotel to others who stop by

Bahnstormer

First off staff is very accommodating and just plain nice From check in to the pool or bar area we encountered only excellent service Facility from the beautiful foyer area to the pool, outside bar or the restaurants are all top notch

Workout room is stocked like a professional gym Room was new, clean and comfortable Just a win-win stayMy only gripe would be at the bar seating area out back by the water there are no large ceiling fans or to that no fans at all It got a bit hot out there at times Id suggest nice fans to make more use of that beautiful patio area

Brianna O’Daniel

I stayed here for a conference and was very pleased with how clean and comfortable my room was I was even upgraded to a balcony room for no extra charge The staff were very helpful when I reached out about the shower not draining properly

They planned on coming that night but I just asked them to stop by in the morning when I was out, and when I returned to my room later they left a note saying everything was fixed I would definitely stay here again!

If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! Checked into this hotel today and requested my enhanced upgrade based on platinum bonvoy status Shawn the front desk attendant rudely stated that they don’t upgrade I told him that is not Marriott policy and my status is not based on the price of the room

He again refused saying his manager told him that was the policy at this hotel I called Marriott Bonvoy customer service and had a supervisor call the hotel and explain to them that they were violating Marriott policy They still refused saying that the General Manager created this policy and he is out of town and they won’t go against him Never been treated like this at any Marriott property I filed a complaint with Marriott and advise all elite members to stay away from these rude arrogant people There are many other Marriott properties in Tampa that won’t treat loyal customers like this

Sherree Ward

A++++++ THANK YOU JASMINE & RAMONA !!!! I haven’t reviewed a hotel in a whole long time but these two people at Marriott here really made me feel welcome They had all my room preferences taken into consideration and offered me so much during my check in 💙💯I really appreciate the wonderful, very clean, comfortable room you have for me

Not only did they take the time to rebook my next room for the rest of the weekend, Thank you Jasmine They also helped me with getting my laundry done by borrowing me a few quarters from their own pocket, thank you Ramona 🙂🙏You both really are great and kind, and they should have more people such as yourselves working or training others at property’s that don’t go all the way like you both have 🔥🤙🇺🇸💜Sincerely,Joe

Great place, and great visit – safe, comfortable, and convenient to Tampa at a great price! The owner / manager (Bruce? I’m terrible with names!) was very quick and helpful in getting me checked in I stayed in the Amsterdam dorm with 6 beds There were 3 other guests who were friendly and quiet

The bed was comfortable – I slept like a log! And I had room to hang my gear The kitchen and shower were all nearby – convenient and just right Unique decor, and great experience I’ll be back! Not sure what happened to my first review, so my apologies if this is a repeat

Nicole Caparella

Super cool vibe, lots of cool space to hang out outside, I took a bunch of pics of painted artwork on some of the spaces outside I got the rock n roll room and it was immaculately clean and the bathroom was unexpectedly fancy and the bed I would like to bring with me everywhere lol Mary and (blanking on his name) were excellent hosts making me feel at home

When I stayed, there were some college students from Amsterdam, a really cool couple that jammed out on guitar and it was just a very peaceful vibe! Coming back next time I’m in the area 💯

Paloma Gonçalves

I had a great time here! I stayed for one week and it was amazing Hostel with hippie vibe Every night, Bruce would turn on the hot tub for us There was a live jam in one of the days and it was great

There is also free breakfast included Bruce (the owner) tries to get to know the guests! Very friendlyThe internet speed is pretty good I was working from there without any issues

We stayed for four nights with our travel baseball team – which can be A LOT! The entire staff was very patient and friendly with all of us and our kids The gym was great and the dining and pool areas were as well The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very attentive – especially Nadia

She was very sweet to the kids and families, we all loved her! Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable

Nancy Bailey

We had a great stay, especially when we had mentioned we were a family of 5 rooms staying for a funeral, they put us all within 2 doors or just across the hall from each other The hostess for breakfast Nadia, was totally amazing Waking up to her kindness and care she showed to each of us was fabulous

She took the time to greet us and ask for anything we wanted or needed Her individual interest and interaction was above and beyond typical service Nadia each morning would make us mini waffles, and her smile and charm very enlightening We all love you Ms Nadia! 😍

Great hotel overall My family stayed for a long weekend and we loved the proximity to the airport and convenience of local restaurants and shopping Not a far drive to the beach either! The hotel is very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, convenient coffee shop in the lobby, very nice pool on the 9th floor with a beautiful view of the bay, and the beds are comfortable too! Our room had a coffee maker and mini fridge as well

We definitely recommend this hotel

A suitcase and a baby

Nice hotel but there must be a plumbing issue in the hotel Toilet barley flushed and tub didn’t drain Kinda disgusting to shower in dirty water

Corner room view was horrible and it sounded like someone was tapping on my window all night Room never got cold despite being on 65 Beds probably would’ve been comfortable if I weren’t hot as all hell Lobby is welcoming but the workers at the front desk clearly are uninterested in working Bar and work spaces make it convenient for after work drinks

Chelsea S

We were on the 11th floor… the hottest floor in the whole building There was no trash can liners or an ice bucket The ice machine on the 11th floor didn’t work

The ac was set at 65 but the temp of the room never went below 78 It’s a bit awkward that the rooms windows face the office building across the way and everyone can see in to your room And paying $14 to park every day kinda sucked However aside from that it’s a nice hotel The bar was decently priced and Stan the bartender makes a great margarita!

This hotel is a good value for the dollar The staff is friendly and helpful The rooms are clean and well maintained

The amenities, although small and limited, serve the purpose well The restaurant is goodWhen you step into the hotel, it feels like you are somewhere tropical and exotic! I always recommend it to friends and familyDidn’t like that I had to pay a $20 a night parking fee That was not a nice new surprise

Amy Chicoine

I had to make a last minute reservation during our little family getaway last weekend We had such a great experience The room was BIG and the price was very reasonable for the accommodations! We wanted to be able to swim (I was traveling with 3 small kids) but it was too cold outside so we stayed at this hotel for the indoor pool alone

It was excellent and I’m so happy with how everything turned out (The foods/drinks at the hotel restaurant are a little pricey though!)

Amber Ricciuti

We booked here for the indoor pool which turned out to be the only good thing about this hotel Very ignorant staff The website states they have a continental or full American breakfast but when we asked the staff we were told they don’t have anything like that, just the restaurant that is there which is pretty pricey

Shower doesn’t drain so you’re standing in water the whole time; make you wonder when the last time they cleaned them was The shampoo and conditioner containers don’t even work properly Definitely will not being booking with any hotels in this chain again

Great location where you can actually walk to things like the Children’s museum Checking in was smooth, Valerie was very knowledgeable in giving me local recommendations and even made my 2 children smile It’s nice to come somewhere new and be nicely welcomed

The pool was great, and surprisingly we had it all to ourselves Wish the exercise room was bigger, but gets the job done while traveling Would recommend for people wanting to stay in the downtown area

Rose Hudson

LaQuesha at the front desk was super helpful Gave us the best advice Checking in was just phenomenal because of her amazing spirit

That girl deserves a raise for real! This experience turned very awful when the fire alarm went off at 4:11 am, at first I was super understanding and very concerned as fire trucks and police start showing up We were one of the first people downstairs and there were no staff around or present There was no direction, no one executing any safety precautions Then at 9 am the following morning the fire alarm went off again for 15 seconds again before turning off again, and again at 10 am for 5 seconds No one was taking it seriously When we asked a staff member as we are walking down the stairs what we should do, they had no direction and basically told us to go back to our rooms What if a real fire had gone on, people would have not taken it seriously due to the previous electrical system errors, that is easily a fire hazard and huge code violation on the fire alarm system, never again We come to find out this was reported happening two days prior due to electrical system errors This place needs to be shut down and electrical issues needs to be addressed, it is a huge risk and not worth the time or money to stay here

Rolando Drausal

I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived Javier greeted us cheerfully and had a great sense of humor Upon check in Jessica found us a very nice room overlooking the River ( mom’s bday)

Room was well suited, clean and with all the necessary amenities All other staff members I met were helpful Good location, 1 block away from river walk, a little over 1/2 mile from Convention Center Very competitive price compared to well known chains

Great resort for a family with kids although the rooms are a little on the older side All the people are very friendly and professional You’ve got tennis, golf, and several small pools with an overall relaxing environment

There’s a driving range next to the main clubhouse by the South course We played South, Island and Copperhead courses – and the club services team moves your equipment around to each course ahead of time Super efficient!

This place was spectacular!!! I didn’t get to enjoy the 6 pools, nor golfing but we will be going back in October The room was very nice, it was like home away from home We had a kitchen, living area, nice room and the bathroom was very nice as well

Going back to the kitchen, it had all the appliances and dishware needed to cook I thank God for my husband, for picking out a wonderful place for the second part of our vacation! ❤️❤️❤️

D.R. O’Hara

I loved the condo I stayed in Great WI-FI, beautiful property As an Airbnb renter, I feel like there is no respect shown to visitors who spend thousands over their stay

I felt like a prisoner in my very expensive rental Innisbrook would benefit from issuing a pool pass for guests, especially those who spend over $100 at a restaurant built right next to the pool Perhaps a lower membership package, temporary, allows pool(s) or pool Honestly you are accosted if you go in the pool as a renter and are forced to exit It is scary I spent 8 days inside taking occasional walks and ordering in I came to watch golf and go in the pool, considering there are several Are no pools for guests? ugh Sorry I feel like I wasted money that could have been avoided had management addressed the concerns of several guests who posted prior I am not spending thousands of dollars to take a dip It is ludicrous

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room This site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downStill features one of the most elegant Sunday brunches in the area, although there are no real safety precautions which was a bit disappointing Food is fresh and well -prepared with a wide assortment of breakfast and lunch/dinner fare The buffet includes a free mimosa, unlimited coffee, hot or iced tea and soft drinks

Marcus Miller

As a venue for a wedding, it was a great choice Absolutely incredible dinner service, bar was great, and lighting was well managedFor the hotel/spa, sub-par

Pool is nice, but crowded Limited chairs and towels Charges for spa were supposed to be waived for wedding, but wouldn’t remove a small $32 charge because it was booked through a third party Not a big deal, but more of the principal of the matter Room service was running behind for a morning breakfast (scheduled) 21% gratuity is automatic and the price on the menu didn’t match the price on the bill Very unfortunate considering a gratuity is linked to serviceThe entire hotel needs a coat of paint and a pressure wash outside Multiple parts of the hotel either smelled of mildew or bleach The room was clean and well stocked, but the towels were rough The furniture could definitely use an upgradeRecommendation for management/owners, whoever is the hospitality manager for the venue/wedding operations should be put in charge of all the others operations as well Perhaps they would bring the service level up and we’d stay again

I don’t know why this place is rated as a “2-star hotel” because it’s so much better! I stayed here for 7 days and it was a good experience Kim at the front desk was so personable and warm, & I felt reassured that I had made a good choice She shared details about the property based on where my room would be, and even called to check if I was comfortable a few hours after I settled in

Every interaction with her after that was consistently friendly & pleasant My room was well maintained and very clean The A/C worked with zero issues and the WiFi was high speed connection Where do you get top-notch service like that at a “2-star hotel”?The pool & hot tub was sparkling clean, grounds well kept, housekeepers always around, no garbage left in the outside bins for long etc anywhere The spacious pool & gazebo area was actually one of the nicest I’ve seen at a hotel You can lounge around and not be on top of everyone elseI’d definitely stay here again

Preface: I don’t often write good reviews For a more entertaining review you may look at others which I have writtenThis is a place where the trash cans are never full

The room was clean when I got there and the AC was cold When the AC quit working the maintenance man was knocking on my door within 10 minutes to swap it out… an ordeal which was over in 5 minutes The Concierge, Andrew, works until midnight and claims to be the maintenance supervisor, but he will tell you where to go and what to eat if you ask him It’s hard to find someone so committed to a hotel that they have worked there 20 years but Andrew has and it shows I once saw him swap out a refrigerator after 11pm after a guest complaint I heard rumors that the pool is excellent, the hot tub is world class and the free breakfast is one of the best but I never tried any of that What I found amazing is Ginger Ale in both vending machines and a vending machine with ICE CREAM The diner next door, Lenny’s, also deserves a visit The best part of the room is the patio, but the towels are also fluffy

I travelled solo and I loved the service at this hotel! It was clean, and you have everything you need in this hotel where it includes breakfast! I really liked, and there was fresh water infused with fruits that was made everyday! It is close to everything! I felt safe staying here I definitely will return! I do recommend this hotel

For the price the hotel was great The customer service was good Whenever we requested something from the front desk, the staff would call your room to confirm you received what you needed

I loved having a laundry room that you could use a debit/credit card for and not have to worry about getting cash The view is amazing, we had the bay side view The room is spacious and it was convenient to have a full size kitchen and bedroom that is separate and private from the living room area We love the ability to go for a swim at 7am while having a drink at the pool The grills were a plus as wellI gave 4 stars for several reasons but mainly due to the room not being cleaned very well I did address this with the front staff and they sent someone to clean the area we were the most unhappy with The pool towels are limited so I would recommend bringing your own The room could definitely use some updating and we were a little disappointed because the pictures shown on their website looked betterRecommendations for the hotel is to put larger trash cans in the kitchen, add brooms/ mops in the rooms (Especially because we stayed 8 nights), make sure enough toiletries are provided based on the length of stay, purchase more linens, and update the rooms (The tub had peeling paint, furniture outdated and beat up, and cracked flooring)Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return

Overall loved everything about this place!! Atmosphere is great Much quieter than expected Being on the 3rd floor we heard no one above or below us

The pull out couch was very comfortable, happily surprised Our only real complaint, and it’s gross Actual dirty dishes were in the cupboard Easy fix we just washed anything and everything before we used it

Went for a weekend getaway for sun, a pool and water view This place did all that The grounds are beautiful and well kept

The poolside restaurant had super hardworking and friendly staff; food and drinks were great Pool area was small and could use more chairs as they are filled up really early The hotel itself is outdated but clean overall and had everything we needed We did request toilet paper and towels twice and never received them, but when our TV broke a maintenance worker showed up very quickly Unfortunately the free shuttle bus is very unreliable; upon arrival after waiting an hour and half at the airport we took a cab And upon departure we reserved it for 10am and it was about 40 minutes late, which caused a panic as we had a flight to make Over this is a great place for quick stay for some sun and fun!

Jake at the front desk is a great asset to your organization My wife and I checked in at about 6:00 pm on a Thursday with at least three other guests ahead of us on line and at least 2 phone lines ringing Jake handled everything and everyone professionally and courteously

The room was fine although the shade on the door to the balcony needs repair

Kay the manager of the Candlewood Suites has been phenomenal! Excellent customer service and superb hospitality excellence is the bare minimum to describe my experience Thank you Kay, for your hospitality Professional and friendly

I give this hotel 5 stars for the staff alone The rooms are clean and modern I highly recommend this place

Nice, clean hotel Up to date amenities, very large room with kitchenette Hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and there are 2 very good restaurants in the same plaza

The only thing we didn’t care for was the very soft bed which left us both with sore lower backs, you actually have to struggle to get out of the bed There is no breakfast offered but there is a very good diner in the same plaza

I stayed three nights and felt very comfortable during my stay I feel like this is a great hotel The staff here was very helpful and friendly

The front desk was extremely accommodating and responsive to any request I ate at the restaurant for breakfast, had the yogurt parfait and waffles and it was great Went again for dinner another night and we got Greek salad and fish sandwich and it was good too The hotel grounds are well kept and it is easy to get to from the highway I swam in the pool and it was very nice So overall it is great!

Very nice upscale venue Expansive grounds for a nice walk with an above average restaurant on the grounds The road in and out is not typical and a bit confusing on day one, but the more travelled the easier to negotiate

Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful Interior was clean and neat as were the rooms Room was spacious and bed firm and comfortable Room had ample seating (sofa +3 chairs) to accommodate visiting guests Our traveling companions were not so lucky with only one chair A call to the front desk resulted in another chair delivered to the room 10 minutes later

We were there for our son’s wedding and had lots of family with us All of the staff were amazing! Kim at the front desk went out of her way to make us happy! All of the folks at the front desk were superstars: Kim, George, Ron, and Anastasia! Thank you for an an amazing stay! The beds and bedding were awesome and so comfy! Even our 84 year old mother who never sleeps well, slept like a baby! Wonderful experience!

Denise Cadogan-Stanford -LABOR-

My stay was great!!! I have to acknowledge the housekeeper Betty K, she made sure and ensured that all of my needs were met on time She extended her courteous gesture and visited every morning and I appreciated it

My checkout experience was also great!! Stephanie greeted me with a smile and made the checkout process easy Thank you both for my wonderful time at the Westin

What a horrible stay – wish we had chosen a different hotel for our weekend First we endured a ridiculously long wait to check-in because there was only one person at the front desk on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON Then we get a suite that doesn’t have a working bathtub (water wouldn’t drain), no body wash, no bathrobes in the room, and a defective television

Someone came up to “fix” the tub but it still wouldn’t drain in the morning, and when we called down again the front desk tells us they’re aware the tub isn’t working and it needs a bigger fix So they waited to tell us/fix the problem until WE called down to call about it We are finally switched to another room, but it, too, doesn’t have body wash or bathrobes, and now the AC barely works and there is a defective smoke detector that flashes bright green throughout the night When we call the front desk at 2:30am to let them about the smoke detector and how it’s now woken up our 2 year old, instead of offering to fix it or another more feasible solution, we are offered a room change – at 2:30AM with a toddler Ridiculous! The next morning, we stood around for at least 15 minutes before a valet attendant even acknowledged us to ask if we were waiting for our car even though we stood right in front of several guys just standing around chatting with each other It was only when my husband pulled out his wallet that someone looked our way and offered to assistWe were offered $50 off our room stay and complimentary parking for our troubles, but i just received my credit card statement and the parking was charged HORRIBLE experience and with so many other hotels to choose from in the area, Westin Waterside is the last place anyone should book

Hotel is good location if you’re needing to be by the airport but a bit run down Smelled of mold and visible mold in the lobby (and air ducts) Hallways were extremely warm and AC in room could not keep up

Faucet in room was also loose, to the point of falling over Only stayed one night and four times within an hour, housekeeping knocked on the door, tried to enter the room, and called the room asking when we were leaving This was all after they tried to enter at 9am (without knocking) and we told them we had already gotten late check out (noon) Obviously we felt rushed out Additionally, breakfast was supposed to be included in our reservation but we were told it was not We were also double charged for parking (once on room bill and again at the pay station) Pool was nice with view of the bay but unfortunately industrial exhaust fans blow right next to the cafe/pool so it’s extremely loud Made it impossible to enjoy the pool/bar/view Only bright spot was that check in process was easy Absolutely would not return

Glasco Martin

Choice this location despite the many negative reviews, hoping that they ( reviewers) were somehow in the older section of the hotel and just had a bad experience It would only be for 1 night before moving downtown to the Embassy Suites Driving up, you can quickly see that there is nothing near the hotel as far as restaurants or activity

It looks like you’re driving through an office park Upon driving further you can see that the location is beautifully situated on the river That’s where the good stuff ends This hotel looks dated from the exterior, and it gets worse once you enter The lobby area is sad, dirty and dated The desk clerk seemed to be put out by me checking in There was no line whatsoever But she appeared to change her tune after finding out that I was a Hilton diamond member She immediately upgraded us to a room with a sunset view I felt hopeful that my wife would somehow be okay with my hotel pick I should have stopped here because the lobby had that old smell to it After getting the luggage and heading inside to our room, I could see the sour look on her face After getting into a dirty elevator, the look got worse Upon reaching our floor we were greeted by a dark hallway and dingy carpeting We had to weave our way around the two housekeeping carts to get to our doormind youthis is probably 6pm Upon getting inside the room, we immediately knew we couldn’t stay It was dark, old, dated and smelled musty We didn’t touch anything and immediately went down stairs to checkout and request our Hilton points back It took us an hour or two to find somewhere to lay our heads that night We ended up at a very nice Marriott property a few miles away No issues thankfully

Melinda Yu

Front desk and housekeeping ONLY-were friendly and helpful Parking was easy-pool was nice-beautiful view Now the reason for 2 stars-pool bar service were complete losers

Didn’t know to make a simple margarita! Not quick to serve and huge worthless attitude Any shift-any day Drinks were way overpriced Cafe breakfast was par however-the staff was marginal at best I spilled orange juice all over the table and floor accidentally-and I was the one who cleaned it up after three attempts to get staff help -then he finally came out with a dry hand towel and lightly brushed over the floor-the sticky table got nothing!! Lunch n dinner menu was marginal and the food was horrible with “can’t be bothered” service A complete joke for a restaurant The room-beds uncomfortable and the noise of the a/c was extremely loud The carpet was soaking wet in one corner: the solution was to bring a giant fan? That sounded like we were in an airport hanger cranking up a jet engine Why they couldn’t have moved us is beyond me The soap in the packaged supplies was like a plastic disc that never lathered up -I wasn’t sure if I was getting soap or not when I washed my hands

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming The room was very clean and beautifully decorated The view was lovely (we were in room 401)

The AC works extremely well, I’m not sure where some of the complaints in other reviews came from We actually got too coldThe bed and pillows were very comfortable, as was the chaise lounge by the window I’ve never slept as good away from home as I did in this roomThere’s a small private beach and a pool We didn’t have time to swim but it looked like the other guests were very much enjoying themselves There’s also a rooftop bar that I did not get to visit and a restaurant we ordered food from It was very goodI will most definitely stay here again if I’m in the area! Highly recommend!

Mark Moeller

Very nice hotel located on a nice semi-isolated corner Views from room on the bay side were nice and we had two sunny days so it was worth it Pretty windy on the pool deck but very enjoyable sun down by the little private beach area

Valet parking only so have some cash ready- they are always there and they are efficient Very nice lobby area, little open restaurant, and barRoom was very clean and appealing Bathroom and clean and well-kept I had to request two separate items from front-desk and had them within 10 minutes both times My family had a very pleasant experience here, although it seems more suited for adults We would definitely stay here again

Anna-Lise Cordell

We stayed here the night of our wedding on honeymoon island in 2020 and for an early anniversary the year afterCheck-in was always easy, although I feel staffing may have been reduced to bare minimum during COVID and now they are struggling to get more staff or trying to see how much work they can pile on who’s there It’s never caused too much of a problem for us and service was always good but you can definitely tell they are being stretched thin

Breakfast was amazing both times in fact I filled up even though we had a reservation at Oyster Catchers nearbyThe roof top bar has beautiful views of the sunset and tasty cocktailsThe rooms had gorgeous views of the water, very romantic Although there were small issues with leaky shower doors or something minorI would still definitely recommend The Current as a place to stay or just watch the sunset on the rooftop
