Great hotel and the value is unbeatable Rooms are basic, but comfortable and have everything you need for a weekend stay The pool was great for the kids as it had a basketball hoop for fun and large enough for everyone to have space

The breakfast had the most variety I have experienced in some time at a hotel, fantastic! Lastly, the staff were great to work with and hotel was clean

Right next to where we needed to be for business so that was super convenient, but the aspects that the control lays in the hands of the hotel? Rooms are clean, nice breakfast window I’m looking forward to and 24 hour pool, so when we’re done with work at 10pm we can actually enjoy some pool time

Definitely suggest coming to this clean, bright, easily accessed location if you’re in the area or looking for a business group and want to be sure there’s enough rooms This place has cookies in the lobby right now while we waited too Great ppl behind the front desk too

The room was clean but dated The amenities were good though and the staff was friendly and helpful One big complaint was the pet relief area had no bags nor trash cans for pet waste

There was seemingly no maintenance of the are as well because there was dog mess all over the place leaving the area unusable unless you wanted to be cleaning business off your shoes and dog

Right off hwy 281 Clean & comfy room with welcoming staff The best part was breakfast where we were greeted by Cheryl with a pleasant “good morning “ and offered an array of hot items

There where also many many grab & go items for the traveller who just wants to hit the road with delicious coffee Very clean breakfast area Would definitely stay here again

Have stayed a few times and the most recent visit showed improvement The staff was welcoming at checkin/out and breakfast crew has been top notch Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean, so for the minimal time you stay in the hotel it checks the right boxes

Our selling point for this hotel is also the biggest negative and it is the pool area The pool is very small for the amount of activities they have With small children, it only takes 5 bigger kids and your pushed out of the 2′-3′ zone due to kids falling off the Lilly pads and forced into the area less than 1′ HVAC seems to be a big issue still, this summer when we stayed the pool area was 85 degrees the entire time and this time it never warmed up to even 70 degrees (was as cool as 66 on the pool deck) Thankfully the hot tub was fixed this time since we needed it to warm up!If they could catch up on maintenance I would change my rating from a 3 to a 5 starsWith all that said, our stays have been comfortable and we plan to return We know what to expect and hope for more improvements

Absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! None of the outside doors locked so people could come and go without a key at any hour! The beds were comparable to laying on a concrete floor, they’re so hard to contemplate sleeping on a chair! We stayed two nights and in between nobody came in and made our beds or gave us fresh towels and when we called about we were told to pick them up at the front desk! Zero to no customer service! We even tried to leave the second night but the hotel and Expedia were arguing about who was supposed to refund us and nobody would! The walls were dirty, sheets were dirty and the pool had more bleach in it than water! I was so disappointed!

You can’t go wrong staying here! We have made enough mistakes choosing hotels that we are now very careful when booking somewhere we’ve not stayed before We were in Aberdeen for a funeral, and this hotel was recommended Check in was simple, the staff behind the desk were really the best

Everyone says you can’t get good help right now in 2021 – but they are wrong The staff that checked us in weren’t just good, they were great Went out of their way to be friendly and helpful Super clean and modern rooms, hallways, elevators, lobby Everything says “welcome to your home away from home”

Aberdeen Hiker

My experience with My Place Hotel was for a long-term stay The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a good location My room was quiet and had a comfortable bed

I also found the climate control worked well and did not leave me hot or cold The hotel has washing machines and dryers on-site and you can exchange dollars for quarters at the desk Rooms have a refrigerator and stove top too The manager, Jennifer, was particularly helpful and friendly as were all the staff I almost wished that I worked there! I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of our room (420) during our stay We’ve stayed here before , and it was good but this room even the corners of the bathroom under the vanity etc were clean I worked in housekeeping during college decades ago so I do know what to look for … many of my friends do the same

The breakfast was good omelets / sausage / waffles and the staff here was very friendly … even went from table to table asking how everything was… Front desk was fine too … maybe need to jack up your welcome and friendliness Overall good stay!PS consider this to be verified! I couldn’t find that site so posted to actual hotel site which I feel is t always true to form but consider mine certified Plus I don’t usually write these

Our stay was nice The location was nice with everything you need close to you and within driving distance The rooms were large (2 Queen suite) enough for our family and clean enough for my liking

The sink and mini fridge came in handy for sure plus the microwave We had the top floor and corner which was nice Not a lot of noises or commotion The front desk and breakfast staff were always friendly and helpful The breakfast attendant lady was always a very friendly would stop to say hi and ask how things were The breakfast had a great variety of hot and continental items I liked that it was something different everydayThe only upgrade I would say is the pool They need to make it more appealing It was swimmable and my kids liked it but it could use a good upgrade

The Staff needs a class on customer service skills to professionally send a message on policy I wouldn’t stay here again I understand they deal with loud people all the time being close to the stadium

Friday at 9pm we just arrived and were told like 5 year old men and women to go to our room to finish watching the NCAA tourney as we ate our pizza is way out of line They shut the TV off and took the remote away with 5 minutes left in the game They proceeded to call the police of which nothing came of that except the police said they were told there was a brawl It was evident that didn’t happen Their house rules we were told is no one is allowed in the common area at 9pm of which we weren’t told that while booking for of I was, I would not have stayed here At first they said children and then expanded it to adults also We then found a sign that read 10pm common area closure hidden and the guard verbally told us 11pm We were allowed to stay outside by the pool area which we did I knew when I walked in to check in, the way the lobby clerk greeted me, and treated me this was going to be less than a pleasant stay So much for $400 for 2 nights stay When I checked out today, I didn’t even receive a thanks for your business or come again Don’t worry, I won’t

Nice enough hotel Staff were mostly friendly, though the gent in the evening desk is a little prickly I let him know at one point that the sidewalk needed some ice melt from where the awning was shedding water and starting to freeze again and he acknowledged it but didn’t actually throw the salt, so the next morning it was a little dicey to cross

The main lobby’s ceiling is really low making it seem a little crampt but my room was spacey and really nice The bed was super comfy and so were the pillows But the blinds on the windows need to be a little more visible… I went to sleep the first night and thought I was just going to have to deal with the fact that I could vaguely see out through the sheer curtains… breakfast could use a little variety and some more fruit in the mornings, I was only able to snag a banana for breakfast like 3 mornings of the 7 I was thereAlso, if you happen to know where I could buy a deal chair like the one in 329 I’d love to know, that was super comfy
