We will never stay at this hotel again Horrible wifi, even plugged into the wall and the Internet didn’t get any better Couldn’t even do a speed test, as it would time out it was so slow

Found hairs on the clean towels in the bathroom, and the walls were super duper thin! When our neighbors got in at 2am, we most definitely knew it

Russel paul

Food was left in the fridge for 2days, had a note from house keeping dated the 12th when I checked in on the 14th!!!Found a dirty sock in my comforter (We are finally exiting a pandemic and you leave dirty socks in the bed for others to touch!!!) absolutely gross!!Ac was hit and miss Had to have him come to the room twice to fix it

and on top of all this they would not switch us rooms for the inconvenience!

I would never stay at this motel

Although the staff is very friendly I ain’t one for bed bugs and I know for Fact they have no hot water in there laundry room they take there sheets and everything from the bedbug rooms wash them in cold water and use them in another room if they ain’t got enough towls they just fold them and put them in your room Not to mention the pillow cases good luck getting those changed but all in all it’s a 5* hotel if you wanna take bed bugs home !!

Minimal expectations of a room are working appliances as well as utilities Unfortunately, Borders Inn, in Ardmore OK failed to deliver on even those minimal points We arrived at our rooms at 9:00 at night, and we’re a bit concerned with the amount of questionable individuals hanging around the outside of the hotel that late at night

However, we’d been on the road 7+ hours and didn’t feel like we could chance trying to find another place this late at night with 4 kids in tow Upon entry into the room, we were met with what seemed to be decent accommodations Unfortunately, there was something that appeared to be mold growing inside of the AC unit It took multiple calls to the front desk to have anyone come up and take a look – during the time it took for them to respond we realized that our television did not work and, the bathroom door refused to latch and the room was in need of a whole lot of TLC After an hour with maintenance in and out the room and not so much as an apology for the inconvenience, let alone an explanation of what was in the unit, we requested to be left alone to sleep the remaining hours we had available to us before getting back up in the morning We woke up at least hoping for a warm shower, unfortunately the hot water heater was out of commission as wellThe room was in need of a great deal of TLC and for $125 a night with taxes and fees – we really were expecting better than thisAfter another phone call to the front desk we were told that maintenance would be in by 8:30AM- after we’d already be back on the road At this point I explained to the front desk personnel that minimal expectations were not met and I’d like to know what could be done about that and was simply told that she didn’t have the authority to do anything for us and that she would write our contact info down and someone would be in touchI can say that the breakfast was decent, exactly what you’d expect from a free breakfast at a mid level hotel

Jarod Wenger

This place is nice upon first look, if you are any somewhat of a clean freak then you will realize quickly that it’s not When walking around the hotel, I saw a pile of towels and an exposed outlet In our room the light fixture didn’t fit and we had stains on our pillow cases and had a black pillow

Staff gave us weird looks when we asked for a new pillow and pillow cases The exercise room had a half working treadmill and a functioning elliptical, and no weights at all Plenty of dust and bugs and other details I’m sparing you from as well I would say average breakfast at best You get what your money pays for and no more Stay if you wish

brianna archibong

Great staff The price is good, working laundry machines/ doesnt price gouge for laundry supplies Clean

But above all The ladies who run behind the desk were incredibly kind They were what made my time there 5 starsThank you both You two always made me smile

I rented here several times and my recent visit was outstanding I didn’t catch a name but the lady was tall blonde and dressed very well She went out of her way to help me with a couple of situations and guest that was in the lobby was very impressed with her

I don’t know if she was a manager or what but her attitude and business manner sure is what every hotel needs

Christy Martin

I am giving them 5 stars we where only there for one night but it was a very pleasant experience There were a couple of issues but were handled quick and seamless The first was the floor was wet from the A\C unit and the second was the wiring under the nightstand

And then the phones didn’t work But these were quickly resolved but front desk staff She gave us a different room and all was well after that

Preston Gover

Staff was polite and that was the only thing I have positive about this place We checked in and our room smelled so bad we asked for a second not only did it smell worse there were dirty wash rags hanging in the shower, floors were dirty, only half of the lights worked and the sheets were stained

They had nice landscapes but it was so un cared for the grass next to the pool was up to my knees We went next door to the comfort inn and saved the night I would have rather slept in the car than stayed at this place

I have to travel for work often and this is the nicest hotel in the area, in my opinion The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, and the bartenders are always super friendly and nice The food isn’t bad for having a grill at a hotel! The only thing I would say is having a continental hot breakfast would be nice

I’ve been to cheaper hotels that have better breakfasts for free Other than that, will stay again!

Melissa Cox

My room was everything I expected It was very clean The bed was comfortable and the in room Keurig was greatly appreciated

The only critique I can offer is that there was never anyone at the front desk when we went through the lobby We had to wait probably 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk in order to check in, and every other time we passed through the lobby there was no one at the front desk Fortunately we didn’t need anything after checking in 😊

Before I rented two rooms one king size plus 1pet and one double queen size room the website say that they do FREE BREAKFAST and are pet friendly and the location was perfect because we was going to Lake Murray So we get to the Hilton I told them I needed two rooms plus pet and ask so you do Do FREE breakfast right she say NO we charge $40 a room for a complimentary breakfast 😳 and $75 none refundable pet fee so for the king $375 queen double$354 I thought complimentary was free but that only apply if your 6 in under if you don’t use the 40 it will be put back on your card I never got a receipt for my charges or email And only $40 back we got breakfast that was $17

63 so you do the math o yeah are stay was for 2 nights

I’ve stayed here many times, I’d say about 10 times, but stayed in one particular room on the second floor and some strange things started happening to my boyfriend and I I never was a believer in the paranormal until I witnessed a few events that were unexplainable

great place to stay at and I never had much to complain about! Not sure if anyone else had a similar experience but I am interested to know if this just happened to me

Stayed for a week for a work assignment, no or poor communication from employees, hot water was turned off in the middle of my shower

twice Because it was “being worked on”, but I was not warned Key card was deactivated while I was at work “so people don’t come back after they check out” Fine, but I just checked in the day before, for a week long stay! My room was not cleaned all week, no explanation was given for that Overall decent vibe but otherwise avoid!

Danny Minjares

Let me start by saying that if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you If it isn’t the constant noise of the I-35, the locals and guests will keep you up There is more nightlife there than some bars I’ve been to

Rooms are halfway decent for the price Shower heads are adequate for a child or a short adult I’m 5’10” Stairways and walkways are dirty and reek of natural light beer You will be approached by strangers day or night Some may appear to be fresh out of rehab the night before Don’t get me started on the employees Although friendly for the most part, they may or may not be in prison work release programs I paid a week up front and refused to have anybody clean my room for that very reason Needless to say, I did not stay the full week

Kelly Minyard

Your children can’t play outside without the owner throwing a fit, He is very rude and arrogant Not to mention the place is full of dope heads not surprising since it is being sold out of a few rooms it was brought to the owners attention and he acted like it was no big deal Rooms have roaches and are run down NEVER stay here if u want to get a good nights sleep or feel safe

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy No maid service for days one woman told me she had been there a month and they never changed her sheets or offered her service even after several complaints to the office!!!

I stayed at this Comfort Inn location for a total of 4 weeks during a recent business trip The staff was friendly and professionalA special shout out to the gentleman at the front desk who greeted me every morning and pampered me the last night of my stay by upgrading my room

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast and tasty and pool and hot tub hit the spot after a long day I highly recommend

Rebekah Luper

Got there and checked in, front staff was nice and made it easy However I checked out the room (first floor double bed room) for bugs and there weren’t any thankfully but the room was really dirty Found what looked like blood under a mattress, medicine cap in the couch cushion, stained blankets and was in general dirty

When I went out of the room the guy asked if it was okay and I said it was dirty He was super kind and apologized and said he would see what he can do in the morning About 10 minutes later he let me know he could upgrade me to a double Queen suite free of charge for the inconvenience which was very nice and appreciated This room was dirty too unfortunately Hot Cheetos in the cushions, hair on everything, fake nails under the bed and just generally dirty I knew there were no other rooms available so I told him (staff) that I was not going to complain because it was somewhere to sleep The hot tub had a chemical issue for sure though, it immediately burned our eyes and made us unable to stop coughing when the jets were one Once we left the hot tub and pool area, it cleared up but there is definitely a chemical issue with it Again I did not want to complain as it only seemed as if there was two on staff and this was during the snow storm but I did let the guy at the desk know about the chemical issue Overall I would not stay at this hotel again unfortunately

Don’t stay here Stayed here last year when in town for a funeral I booked all the rooms for my family and I, to take some stress off of my mother

We were charged extra for 2/3 rooms that had been booked and were told that one of the rooms had been upgraded, when that was the only pet room available and the staff chose to put my parents there I had left notes that one of the rooms would have a pet when the booking was made One of the housekeeper was scared of dogs when my parents walked by and screamed I understand her being frightened of dogs, but not the manager that told/yelled at my parents they needed to use the other door with their dog The “manager” that I spoke with while checking out had no idea how to correct the billing and had been shown the original confirmation/pricing My calls were never returned and the manager was never available I was told that they could not make any changes as I had used an OTA to book the rooms, but then they would do nothing to fix the error in their system that changed the rate The management also allowed vendors in the rooms to clean the carpet without informing guests, my dad almost slipped on the wet carpet when we returned later in the afternoon I worked hotel operations for years and had never allowed a vendor into an occupied guest roomJust avoid coming here Management doesn’t care to fix situations, even when they’re at fault, and will let vendors into your room without telling you They’re happy to just take your money, ignore your calls, and fain ignorance

Very nice facility Well maintained Had valentine decor throughout the lobby and breakfast area

The jolly green giant could shower and not get his face wet but the rest of us not so Didn’t try the bar but it looked very inviting Breakfast was the usual Coffee was better than we’ve had but nothing special Nice fitness room Only tested the pool water with hand seemed warm Not hot tub Several dining choices within walking distance Would stay again

Jewell Cartales

I only gave them 4 stars overall because I had planned on using the pool but the pool needs refinishing or something It didn’t look very clean, and the water was cold The hotel itself was nice

The breakfast is great The staff were awesome And the room was very comfortable, Except the air conditioner was very loud when it would cut off and on

Jason Kerns

An easy access to Best Western right off of I-35 The staff at the desk were very kind, professional, and friendly The complimentary breakfast was quite legit

The building, carpets and rooms seemed rather new or at least newly remodeled and everything was clean The only small 2 little complaints I had was the room ACs seemed to kick off when it reached 72 and the room would get hot quickly and it would have to kick back on a bit later I felt bad about using too much more energy to keep the room cool, but the solution was to put AC on quite low to compensate for this, especially when sleeping My only other complaint was the pool was a bit turbid (cloudy) greenish color Didn’t have that chlorine clean smell like most small echo filled hotel pools have Maybe because they had a broken pump or something or it was a salt water pool and it was supposed to look like that I’ve swam in worse freshwater bodies, soBut kudos for the great stay!

Very comfortable, QUIET hotel Not sure how we never heard anyone above or beside us Great construction! More upscale and more amenities than your average Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Comfort Suites, etc

, but the same price No free breakfast, but who really enjoys those anyways 😜 There is a Starbucks on site, so drinks and food can be purchased there Appreciated the great water pressure in the shower Towels were soft Bed was comfy Rooms were clean

My wife and I just got home from staying at the Mariot, for two nights It was a great stay The staff were awesome from the front desk, housekeeping, to the lounge in the evening time

We interacted with Ryan at the front desk a few times An outstanding person Ebony, who runs the lounge, had not only the Oklahoma cook off to deal with, but a US foods convention at the Holiday Inn across the street, both in one weekend, but she was beautiful inside and out She gave us helpful hints where to eat in Ardmore, but helpful hints about Turner Falls, and what time to get there She has a great attitude, and I never saw her not smile Her patience, customer service and general attitude was nothing short of stellar I am a retired police officer, and personally, I think law enforcement agencies in Oklahoma should be recruiting this kid She would be extremely good at that job When we go back to Ardmore, I hope I see her in a police car! Getting recruiting Oklahoma law enforcement!

We stayed here on our trip to Win star casino GREAT PLACE, to say the least Check- In was a breeze, Room was clean and very spacious

Great bathroom within the suite The breakfast in the morning was awesome and had tons of choices to eat and drink and it was all fresh The hotel staff were awesome as well Great place overall I would give them 20 stars!

Nom

It’s the same standard Hampton service and everything is really clean The front desk was really kindThe only thing that we don’t like it is that you have to pay 50$ if you stay with your dog ( 14 puddle) just because they can destroy a room

But it’s Hilton rules
