The service was outstanding! The rooms were clean and comfortable!! The facility was nicely maintainedAlso, I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and honesty to those of us who stay with them The young lady who services the rooms went over and beyond when I left my IPad in the room

We had checked out early in the morning and had a 7 hour drive ahead of us We had already traveled a few hours when we received a call from the hotel that I had left my iPad and holder in the room! Neither one of us had even known it was missing and probably would not have until we got home Thankfully we had family in the area that was able to pick it up for us I will never forget their honesty and integrity in dealing with my left items To the lady who services those rooms; thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Never take a great hotel for granted!!

I looked at several hotels in the area and wanted one with a pool (my son was dying to go swimming) Several available hotels had pools, but what swayed me to book here were all of the reviews mentioning the cleanliness of this hotelWhen we arrived for our stay, the pool was down – completely drained and being worked on

This wasn’t mentioned on the site or I wouldn’t have booked here My son was super bummed out, but I figured at least the room will be clean which was my personal #1 concern Except it wasn’t There was change on the bathroom floor, so obviously that was never cleaned, as well as trash on the bedside table Desk was covered in stains, coffee makes was unplugged and I had to pull out the fridge to reach the plug and get it hooked back up, only to find the coffee maker was stickyPillows were lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable I’m sad that my experience was the opposite of so many reviews I usually do airbnb’s but as this was only a 1 night stay, I figured a hotel would do just fine Lesson learned

I usually never leave bad reviews, but after the way my family and I were treated by the front desk staff on Easter weekend was so so undelieveable !! Extremely rude, very unprofessional and completely unpleasant if you don’t like your job and can’t handle the stress move around!! Customer service should come first!! Learn some manners, people beware they will change your bookings and say you never booked it!! Even after a confirmation email was sent!! Trash!! If you need a good hotel in Palestine go to the holiday inn great staff and service!!

Absolutely dumbfounded this hotel will not follow ADA federal laws We’re told we could NOT stay because of my 2 registered service dogs upon checking yesterday I explained the laws and they gave us our prepaid room

Upon trying to extend through tonight I was told you must leave because of your Ada service dogs Corporate even called to inform them this is a federal law and these dogs cannot be turned away Glad we got the front desk lady on camera saying it Formal complaint started Breakfast was good Room was good Service DISGUSTINGlast time a best western refused service dogs I found an article on yahoo about how they were required to remove all best western logos and we’re no longer affiliated with best western until all employees went through training on how to treat people with disabilities and comply with ADA laws It took 6 months Happy training tyler Texas best western!!

Having never been to Tyler, TX, I picked this place based on previous reviews

too bad they were inaccurate! First room I spent about 5 mins in The bed was so worn I could feel every spring in the mattress and the AC had a very high pitch squeal So I got another room wish I hadn’tthe AC was stuck at 66, during a heat wave(previous room could set to 62!) The mattress was a tad it better but the room was gross Several flies and garbage on the floor Plus the bathroom was clearly not cleaned The room was nonrefundable of course but had it not been so late I probably would of just checked out Also it was a non smoking room but smelt like mildew and smoke Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here

Ashley Tucker

*Hotel was under construction*Had a great breakfast, beds slept good, staff was friendly and helpful Room had a odd smell we noticed when returning everytime Smelled almost like Copenhagen chewing tobacco

Odd, but only smelled it for a couple of minutes each time Water pressure in shower could have been better and they use one of those holders in the shower that has the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in it, body wash was empty and didn’t get filled while we were staying, glad I brought my own Free Wifi is a plus

Always gave an excuse that the pool man was cleaning but was caused from the heat That was a lie, it was never serviced

This hotel is “fine” The decor was a little off putting to me, but it’s clean enough and nice enough I’m not sure there is a better hotel in the area

The staff is nice and the bed was comfortable I was disappointed with the fitness room It’s very small and it would be hard for more than one person to be in there The rooms could definitely use some updating but overall, it’s okay I don’t usually stay at best westerns but I’ve never been at a hotel with such bad lighting They need a better standard for light temperatures Also the sofa in our room looked legit too gross to sit on

Hotel needs a DEEP CLEAN!!! Like serious DEEP CLEAN!!! The staff was very kind but couldn’t resolve the TV remote issue After working on it for over an hour and 4 remotes later it still did not work Drove 5 hours and just wanted to relax when we arrived before heading out for the evening

The several asks to provide what I paid for in our room was never received I paid extra for the amenities that were not in the room when we arrived and never showed up Extremely frustrating! As well as the hot tub is NOT hot! Its like a small pool with jets What is the point?! This could be a wonderful place but the Hilton brand name did not hold up to the standards we expected upon arrival

This Hotel really impressed us with how clean and well maintained is was The staff delivered superb service and made us fell welcome and at home The room was quiet, clean and well stocked

Beds were comfortable and the linens fresh The complimentary hot breakfast was good and the woman looking after the restaurant area made sure everything was perfect

*Not* travel healthcare worker approved Do not put your employees up hereThis place looks like it was once nice, but not any more

Checked into my room and checked the bedding like I do in every hotel I stay at and there were many hairs in the sheets, and random dried (not been washed) stains on the sheets and comforters The room smelled like gym shoes, and the couch had a large dark stain on the cushion Only reason I leave two stars is because the woman at the front desk who booked me a new room was very nice and helpful Continuing, the hallway carpets are atrocious I’ve seen cleaner motel carpets Heck I’ve even seen cleaner frat house carpets Checked into my new room and the bedding was clean but the bed skirt looked like a 5 year old tried to put it on, the couch was also stained, the kitchen sink smelled so bad I had to put the plug in it, and went to get a water glass out of the cabinet only to find that there was lipstick on both the glasses I selected I would have ran a load of dishes, but the dishwater was already full upon arrival There was also something that looked like blood on the door stop and toilet seat in the bathroom Didn’t even dare open the refrigerator out of dread of what I would find

The room was a nice size It was equipped with everything I needed On the day of arrival work in the main lobby was being done

However, it was very quiet during my stay They offered some frozen meals and treats to be purchased in the lobby area My microwave did not work in my room but the gentleman remedied my problem quickly I greatly appreciated that Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again down the road

I recently stayed here for a business trip Before I entered the lobby, a group of guests outside mentioned to me that I was about to check into “a jail” I let them know that I was happy about that because I was ready to lock down for the night! When I walked in, there were about 15 more guests in a heated argument with the clerk

What I gathered from the arguing was that they were being disrespectful to other guests and being loud Per the hotel policy, the clerk had let them know of the complaints Apparently they felt since they were occupying several rooms throughout the hotel, common courtesy and respect for other guests didn’t apply to themThe clerk (didn’t catch her name) checked me in and I went up to my room The room was cozy and super clean The free snacks and water were super appreciated The breakfast selection was great and was tasty! Overall, the hotel was very clean and everyone that I encountered as incredibly friendly I am very pleased to know that they take the comfort and peace of their guests seriously—hence the arguments from the disruptive group I encountered Because of that, I will be staying here again on my next business trip!

Had a late check in and was greeted by Lewis I travel often I’m a GM for IHG and Lewis hands down is the best FD agent I’ve encountered ever He is the definition of hospitality You dont get that often especially with how hard hospitality has been the past two years

Your washer was out and we needed it that night Other than that our stay was great Nice clean room and breakfast was great

K. Harris

The staff was very nice Breakfast was tasty and I liked the lobby area Newspapers were available and there was coffee as well

The hotel is showing signs of wear The floor was soft, like the boards under the carpet were sinking
