Though the room was a little small, I felt VERY comfortable My husband and I travel for business and this was the perfect place to stay All of the amenities were lovely! Great breakfast selection (jimmy John’s breakfast sandwiches, boiled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, granola/protein bars, juice, a 24-hour coffee station -fresh ground too! And lovely selection of hot teas)

They had a small market for midnight snacks, large drink selection, as well as over the counter meds/essentials for sale Our TV was HUGE and I could stream to it from my iPhone very easily I was able to use their business area in the lobby to log online and print some things for work The soaps/lotions/shampoo in the room were nice brands Though I didn’t get a chance to use, they did have a nice little gym Very professional staff Everywhere you look, EVERYTHING was sparkling and new If I’m in Beaumont again, for sure I’ll be back!

Nice hotel, looks like new The slightly smaller room size is compensated by nicer electronics (very large HDTV with a vast number of included pay channels) Had to take away one star since the sink plumbing was in need of repair and leaked onto the floor underneath

We temporarily solved the problem by stacking towels below the drip Plus, the walls seem thin and neighbors could be heard But overall, the hotel was nice, new, and had great employees

noobinthenoob

Exceptionally clean and updated Provided free earbuds for fitness room Breakfast was prepackaged sandwiches (yummy enough), but they ran out

Only major complaint was the ceiling noiseseems as though there wasn’t any insulation between floors We heard every foot step from the room above and I know those below us could hear our foot steps

Rooms are great Their clean and updated The front desk is very helpful and nice

Beds are super comfy and breakfast is yummy The location couldn’t be better you are literally 5 mins from everything Oh yeah and the pool is great too My only complaint was that the housekeeper would not clean my room She would come in and change my trash bags and sometimes give me towels NEVER MOPPED I had to use a towel and do it myself She rarely made my bed even when I asked her toWhich I rarely asked for roomservice and when I did it would be worst than when I didn’t want roomservice Idk I think she was snooping or wanting to go home early My company paid 110/night for 17 nights so you would think that room service would be on point And that management would let her know that it’s not ok to slack All in all though wonderful hotel

Chelete B

I showed up to my room and walked in and the bed was not made trash in room and tv on This was at 8 pm I was afraid someone was already in room

They give me another room and put me by the exit I said no bc I’m a woman alone3rd room was by elevator

Winona Gates

For a new hotel it’s gone downhill quick They are understaffed in housekeeping Lots of workers stay here

It already needs to be scrubbed clean The sweet housekeeping ladies do a good job, they are understaffed and not wiping everything down between guests There is splatters of dried blood on the bathroom ceiling in the room i am in Overall structure of the hotel build is extremely poor The door to the bathroom hits the toilet Very annoying and gross Ive stayed twice I think the day shift workers are rude It’s as if you are bothering them when asking anything They will answer or check you out, but it’s the attitude The night workers coming in are pleasant No issue there Not sure why hotel industry can’t maintain cleanliness as a whole

The first night the TV didn’t work So we were moved to another room The front desk young lady was super nice

And quickly handled the problem And also I didn’t know you could barbque by the stairs at a hotel and have loud music going on The first morning breakfast was good Second & third morning not so good Second morning no pancakes or eggs or yogurt Third morning no eggs again The third morning the front desk woman was always saying sh*t and complaining of not feeling well And the place looked horrible Very dirty We did mention to the lady She replied I know We cleaned our own table too and went to restroom to clean the our grandbabies hands and a big bottle of Clorox was sitting on sink and yes Open So the grandchildren knew to stay back till the product was closed and put in the corner and out of the way The cleaning ladies were nice The location was great The room was clean and smelled clean Breakfast and front desk needs to improve Oh if you are going to have fresh apples Please have good ones Thank you

Jennifer McDaniel

Nice rooms with full sized refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, etc However, we only needed and used the refrigerator The room was clean, beds comfortable enough and location was central for all the places we needed to be that weekend

Curtains didn’t close all the way, so we had to use a pen through a hole previously made by someone prior to us to keep privacy Breakfast for average as expected, but they had good coffee which is all that mattered really, haha! Closet and drawers provided enough storage and a desk for working The only bad part was I left my best shoes behind I wish hotels would call when they find missing items That would be above and beyond service people would appreciate

W W

Will never stay at this place ever again WAY OVERRATED!! When I travel for work, last thing I need is to have a room booked next to a crying child at all hours of the day and night

staff takes no consideration when placing you in a room Rude staff, dirty rooms, unclean showers, excessive noise problems and no compensation nor consideration your just a paycheck to them

Rooms comfortable, bed slept great, clean and the lady that checked us in was good But our door key wasn’t working had to go back down to get it working But when I made reservations Misty told me she would be there that day just in case something happens she would be able to clear it up

But of course she wasn’t She gave me a rate and I asked her if I had a deposit she said no But when I get there the lady at the front said it would be a $50 deposit So of course I was upset because Misty told me something totally different that when I checked in It wasn’t a problem to pay it itvwas misleading Breakfast wasn’t good at all Paying that type of money for a hotel it should be a good breakfast not just cold cereal I was told breakfast would be good but not the truth Please let customers be aware of charges upfront

Janet

I really enjoyed my stay here at comfort suites I did pick this hotel because it had a hot tub and my daughter’s wedding was going on and I knew I needed it But I was very disappointed it was broken and the lady says it breaks down all the time

I only gave this a 5 star because the room was clean the sheets were soft and bed was comfortable and there was no noise I truly had a pleasureable experience here Minus the hot tub not working Staff was questionable at times but other than that they were great

Shawn King

Ok room Comfy bed Slept well

Amenities, security, and building access are lacking All outer doors were locked early and we had to park in the back and walk around Door keys did not work Unhappy front desk gal was alone and if she feels she must lock all doors then how secure should we feel walking around the building in the dark? Pool was locked before 9pm despite being open until 10pm Pool is NOT heated and spa was also chilly with no jet pressure Breakfast was not stocked 15 hours prior to ending and the only 2 hot items were empty

I checked in around 7PM Monday 6/27/22 Upon arrival the young lady at checkin was not engaged with her job and rushed me through checkin with no one behind me and then proceeded to walking back to the lobby to talk to her friend Coffee was cold and bitter, they were out of drinks to purchase, and worst part was she denied my upgrade, did not give me the option for points, and did not recognize me as a Diamond elite member upon checkin

I wasn’t Sure if I was at a motel 6 or at a IHG Hotel

Mark Brannon

Absolutely wonderful !! My stay their was one great experience The rooms was clean and the smell was clean and fresh The beds are kind of on the medium range of comfort, but tolerable

The facility all around was fantastic The breakfast needs some improvements Powered eggs and sausage is not good in taste So, looking at the price we paid for our room this five star rating is well deserved If house keeping stays on top of their job like this this holiday express and suites will be here for a very long time

Don’t get a room near the exit doors if you’re a light sleeper The exit door slammed all night & all morning with guests entering & exiting They weren’t noisy (just the door slamming)

The room was spacious ( 2 queen beds) as well as the bathroom It’s not crammed liked some hotel rooms The bed was comfortable & there are soft & firm pilllows available The linen & towels were not dingy nor stained like some hotels (even though I travel with my own) The water was hot and drained properly in the tub However, the toilet handle has to be held down for a proper flush (Rm 129) The room also has a ceiling fan Breakfast is available: pork sausage, turkey sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt & a few other options The paper that’s given when checking in states breakfast is grab & go & for guests to eat in their rooms, but apparently this is either no longer in place or not enforced as people still ate in the breakfast area The pool is openCons: The hotel needs to be sprayed more frequently My friend killed 3 large roaches in our room during our stay The room wasn’t dirty & had a pleasant smell upon entering (not too strong) However, housekeeping could be a little better There was hair in the tub Also, underneath the toilet seat was stained I bring bleach cleaners, disinfectant spray & wipes with me So I sprayed & wiped everything But guests shouldn’t have to do thisOverall, I would stay here again All staff members I encountered were nice, pleasant, friendly & professional (front desk, housekeeping, & breakfast attendant)

My room was spacious and clean The staff upgraded my room to a suite on their own initiative when they ran out of handicapped queen rooms Casey was responsive, prompt and courteous when the power supply to my door lock failed – she recharged it on minutes! Finally, I found the hotel optimally located for travel in all directions on I-10 and TX 105 (Main St

Friendly and helpful staffNice breakfast area and great pool!Upon arrival our room was musty, the bathroom door knob was broken, the bathroom floor was less than clean etcIt needed a thorough cleaning

Margaret Deshotel

The room was nice and clean The hotel was up to date The service was great

No issues at all Asked for the 1st floor and was given it The hot breakfast was great with non pork meat options! Loved that, very thoughtful! Location was easy to get to with a lit parking lot and a visiable camera I got approached by someone looking to make money when I pulled in which was a slight turn off but they drove away when I told them no So my experience was great The room came with a microwave and fridge No nasty smells in hotel or room!

The food left a lot to be desired Not gonna lie, it was horrible The biscuits were hard as concrete even being smothered in gravy, the bacon was overcooked, some sides were cold while others were lukewarm

None of the food was fresh except for the eggs which they cook to your liking while you watch The staff are friendly enough though and the waitress was nice and attentive Hotel staff were nice as well, but we had to search 4 floors of the hotel ourselves to hunt down a cart to be able to bring our bags inside after spending over $200 for the room and leaving another $200 deposit for that room with a jacuzzi Not one employee would assist when it came to that point That’s not exactly good service or hospitality, especially for the price of over $200 for the room and $200 for the deposit of the room You’d think a place like this would be more hospitable but apparently we were wrong We even opted for the offer of 2 meals for breakfast and 2 meals for dinner for an extra $20 on top of everything already paid but the food was horrible More than likely we won’t be back or recommend this place to anyone either We just expected better, were let down instead

The ladies at front desk has excellent customer service and very professional The Hotel is very nice The Air Conditioner was barely working in the room and the hall way was hot

The room had a old odor it The house keeper didn’t clean the bathtub when I got room When housekeeping did clean the room, they the dirty under a clean towel

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend in February, and we had an incredible stay! We booked just a normal king room, and due to some reason on their end we were upgraded to a king suite for free!! It was a fun surprise and we loved our room This was our first introduction to the area, as we move in a month, and I’m glad it was a great experience I will absolutely recommend this hotel to any out of town company that visits

Clean, friendly, good water pressure, dark rooms for sleeping, location near TONS of food and right on the highway so it’s easy to get around

Catherine Hautala

This is a hotel that needs some renovation! In addition to that, the first room they put us in had cockroaches! They changed our room but we were completely creeped-out after that I felt the need to check out all the dark corners of the second room with a flash light after that! This is the only hotel I have ever had cockroaches!…and a Hilton property no less!! Anyway the bed and linen were comfortable and the breakfast was good……But they have cockroaches!!!!!

Stick to what you know, I booked late at night after coming from another “highly rated” hotel down the street (ran from bed bugs) And Holiday Inn has been my saving grace 2 times now! I will from now on NEVER book elsewhere They always have the best rooms, softest mattress, and pillows, and always have exactly what you need

So reliable and always consistent🙏

This location was an absolute pleasure to stay at The staff at the hotel was very pleasant and welcomed us every time we came into the lobby The breakfasts were delicious and there was warm food available both of the times we had breakfast at the hotel

If you’re looking for a good location with easy access to the highway and restaurants close by, this is your hotel Make sure to get down to the complimentary breakfast early, though, as it closes at 9am They keep it stocked to the very end, though, so if you’re just looking for a quick bite, they’ve got you covered

QuietOne InAtl

Excellent beds (comfy and not stacked overly high) and best pillows I’ve had in recent months Good location Clean rooms

Only complaint is the longer hall walk because elevator is at far end of motel so if your room is at the other end that’s a little ways for older people, however, if that is the only thing I can find inconvenient to mention then this place is definitely a good place to stay

Donald Owen

The room we stayed in was fairly new and well-maintainedHowever, the hotel as a whole was a disappointment because of how absurdly noisy it was The walls in this hotel are seemingly made of paper because you can hear everything that happens on your entire floor and the next floor up

A kid running down the hall at the opposite end of the building? Clearly audible Someone talking in the next room over? You could join their conversation! A vacuum running on the floor above? Hear every minute detail as it moves back and forthThe breakfast closes at 9AM on weekends and it was our experience that it could not keep up when the hotel was full At 845 there were no clean bowls, barely any silverware, and many of the breakfast items had been cleaned out without being replacedToiletries were provided, primarily with the now-standard larger format containers on the wall in the bathroom… but no hair conditioner!

Hotel is nice and clean We had breakfast in the restaurant there and it was decent The main complaint we had was the pool

My two young boys wanted to swim and when we were about to jump in we noticed a ton of bugs floating on top of the water Even the hot tub was full of bugs I asked the front desk to send someone to clean it and a lady employee came out and didn’t do anything to fix the problem She moved the pool net cleaner around a few times and then put it back I ended up trying to get the bugs out and when I did they were huge ants that were still alive Needless to say my two boys ended up not swimming and we’re very upset about it Will stay here again but come on Hilton You can do better with your pool!

Linnette

I am a pretty light sleeper I didn’t think that the highway noise was that bad for me compared to the other reviews However, they do have a bar that stays open late and the other guests are super loud and obnoxious

I can hear them clearly from my room I’m surprised they allow that Guests were rowdy well past 11pm thereThe hotel was really clean The breakfast is quite expensive and as mediocre as any other hotel Staff was extremely pleasant Rating based on cleanliness Took a star off for noise I think they need to do without the bar for the sake of other guests We stayed for multiple days
