The staff is really helpful and professional The rooms are clean and spacious The amenities really make your stay a value

Being an extended stay client, I appreciate that the staff has been SO helpful and accommodating Makes me feel comfortable, especially being so far away from home I can’t say enough good about the facility and staff!

We stayed here for the weekend for a wedding that took place in Columbus, WI Check in was very quick and easy and no check out at front desk needed The overall hotel and room was very clean and well kept

There’s also decent shopping and stores right around the hotel that is very convenient Would definitely stay here again should we be in the area again

The room was comfortable and check-in was easy and fast We stayed 2 nights There was 1 issue: We left by 7AM after our first night and we were gone all day

When we returned at 8PM, our room had not been serviced at all We had wet towels on the floor, etc This is the third Windham property out of 4 in the last couple of months where this has occurred I understand that it is difficult to find people to work right now but rates on rooms are up 50 to 100% in the last 2 years and we should expect at least minimal service such as new towels

For parents with small kids (ours are 2, 5, and 8) this place is amazing for the price We came predominantly for the pool and I can’t believe how much attention, in a good way, was payed to it Staff constantly checked the cleanliness and chemical levels

The hot tub, kiddie pool and main pool are all pretty good sized (sometimes pics online can be deceiving) so it was never too crowded Considering breakfast is free, that was phenomenal too Hot and cold options that were constantly stocked and super friendly staff The rooms won’t blow your mind or anything, but with 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog it had everything we needed and was spacious enough Every staff member we encountered was polite and ensured our stay was enjoyable Not a knock on the hotel at all, but if you’re coming with small kids take advantage of the fridge and microwave in your room because there aren’t a ton of family friendly restaurants (other than fast food) in the immediate area

Gisela Robles

The room was beautiful but the room was not cleaned at all Dust all over bed headboard, counters, bathroom was dirty Pool area needs maintenance but thepool was nice as well as the hot tub

Breakfast was pretty good enjoyed it On my way out used the restroom in lobby area it was disgusting and smelled horrible super dirty Kind of disappointed on how filthy But beautiful roomdisgusting

Dana Pelletier

Good: room was clean and comfortable Pool was niceNot so good: hot tub had way too much chlorine

Made my skin itch and burn Breakfast only had one waffle iron and day we stayed there was a little League baseball team staying there too Needless to say we ended up with no waffles Need at least 3 more waffle stations for a place that bigpictures advertised a bar/lounge There is none (If due to covid whatever but remove pictures from website)

We stayed in three different AmericInn hotels during our little vacation this summer This one was definitely not the best First, we booked with this chain because they are pet-friendly

We have one 18 pound pup who is super well-behaved (he’s almost a therapy dog) Someone came up behind us while checking in, so he barked at them because he was startled The woman at the front desk, who was extremely rude the whole time we were here, made a snide comment about how she hoped nobody would complain about our dog You’re a PET-FRIENDLY HOTEL Dogs bark sometimes Babies cry and scream, too, and I hope she wasn’t making similar comments about people’s children Our dog was so good while we were here, and he’s hypoallergenic, so he doesn’t even shed and get hair everywhere We had to pay a pet fee, which is no big deal, but neither of the other two hotels we stayed at made us pay a pet fee The room was nice enough, but it was definitely dirty Not to mention that we specifically requested one king bed and got two instead Not a huge deal, but this place was empty while we were hereThere were actual dirt stains on the shower wall and hair that was definitely not ours There was also pet fur in the carpet (at least I hope it was pet fur) and base boards The towels were in terrible shape (one thread away from giant holes), and it was just an all-around disappointing stay I came in once carrying three bags, my dog’s leash, and some pizza I was greatly struggling but stopped to ask the front desk for some toilet paper, since there was none in our room and the rolls were almost empty I told her our room number (which was the closest one to the desk) and went to our room because I was having a hard time balancing everything and had no more hands She came to give me the toilet paper and snidely stated that she didn’t expect me to “disappear” on her Our room was five feet from the desk All in all, this was disappointing, and it was NOT worth the money I sincerely hope they clean up better next time and get a new desk worker I didn’t even feel comfortable complaining because she was so dismissive and rude!!!! Such a huge bummer, since our stay at the one previously was so wonderful Also, not for nothing, but the wifi and internet was horrible! It barely worked 50% of the time, so don’t plan on working while you’re here Steer clear of this one; there are plenty of others around!

Stayed there for family wedding yesterday This will be a long post but want to explain the whole situation as well as feedback for those lookingClean hotel, friendly staff, hottub out of service but a nice easy to read sign at front desk with explanation, nice room (we were in a 2 bd queen), and a nice standard breakfast selection (my cousin said the scrambled eggs were some of the best she has ever had at a hotel!)

Not gonna lie, it was stressful for some of the guests ss they were told upon checking in that the hotel was somehow overbooked, they were having issues with their scheduling system, and didnt have any available rooms Alyshia (front desk attendant) and Melanie (Manager that came in on her day off) where doing the best they could to help and eventually got things straightened away I would love to give them both a huge shout out and special thank to Melanie for everything as well as Alyshia for staying calm and cool with the upset guests Thank you!I would stay here again if i ever had to as overall it was a great place and staff

This was our 6th or 7th time staying there but unfortunately and this visit was a NIGHTMARE! 1STroom was completely full of urine on one of the mattresses had to switch to another room, the 2ND RM the heater and air conditioner unit didn’t work so had to move to a 3rd room! Keys wouldn’t work to get in rooms We are all the way up on the third floor we continually had to go down to the receptionist area they seem to be nice but it was all a facade We missed a dinner, missed a concert that we were supposed to go to

We were supposed to be refunded never got refunded! talked to a manager and two co-workers and have gotten nowhere just keep lying and going in circles

We’d made arrangements to check in after hours A person came out from the kitchen and asked if we needed help (We didn’t)

That was the only person we saw There was not even anyone available at checkoutWe three ladies had several issues during our 1-night stayOur room was apparently located above the bar Beginning about 11:00 pm when the 3 of us were just getting to bed , music began blaring & pounding from below, loud enough to vibrate the floor It didn’t let up until nearly 2 amThen unfortunately we were awakened early by the sun There were shades at the windows, but they really needed black out curtainsI was the senior of the group I was not able to get a shower The spa tub was deep & the sides quite high, & there were no grab bars I could not get in itThere was no counter space at all in the bathroom making it difficult to put on makeup or do hairThere was no coffeemaker in the room, but we did find two down by the elevator Though I have a Keurig at home, these were quite different There were no instructions for using themThe facility was clean & the beds were comfortable, but all things considered I would not choose to stay again nor recommend it

Important caution: When they say “our front desk closes at 8pm”, they mean there is no staff on site at all after that time I booked a get-away stay here for my wife She was uncomfortable staying there alone without any staff or security person on site

They lock the front door and that’s about it She spent a couple of hours sitting in the room and then decided she was uncomfortable staying there overnight I expressed this to the hotel and asked for a partial refund since I didn’t feel it was clear on the website that there is no on-site presence at all in the evening – they informed me there would be zero refund as they believed “front desk closes” should be interpreted as zero staffMy wife had some other problems with the hotel room also (small hairs in the bathtub, poor room lighting, etc), but this is my primary caution to other people looking to book this hotel And my only major complaint is the lack of any amount of refund, given that safety concern she had and the fact that she didn’t really use the room They also indicated to her in person that there could be a refund, only to tell me there would be no refund when I sought one afterwards Given how the hotel chose to handle the transaction, we won’t be booking here again

The main building (1 of 3) is really nice We stayed in building 3 Really attentive staff

A recent remodel seems to have improved some things ,but it left me wondering if it wasn’t complete Property views a great The docks average and a bit high for most boats No slips or overnight docking, but that is explained on their website Very reasonable rates A great bar and outside seating with a fire pit We stayed on bottom floor, but noise from upper floors wasn’t an issue Ice machines on every floor A large parking lot for accommodating trailers with local marina or public launch is nearby; no launch at their property I’d stay again!

The Heidel House is the best hotel to stay at in Green Lake My wife and I frequent the Green Lake area for weekend getaways The remodeled Heidel House is now on the top of our favorite places to stay

The lake views are sensational as always The updated lobby, bar, and dining room provide wonderful vantage points to take in those stunning lake viewsThe remodel was extensive and very tastefully completed We noticed new carpet and tile throughout the hotel and all the walls were freshly painted The furnishings, such as chairs, beds, couches, tables, dressers, sinks, mirrors, lamps, drapes, and counter tops, were all brand new It was a wonderful refresh of a great hotelJosh was very friendly and helpful in getting us checked in and on our way for a lovely stayWe will most definitely be back

Stayed there four days for a family reunion Staff was great, even though they were stressed with a convention going onGot a great room with a view (see pic)

No free breakfast, but had a nice restaurant downstairs where my wife and I had our 36th anniversary breakfast (see pic)Get to breakfast by 930am because they take it down at 10am – about $20 per person with tipIt is a little remote and hard to get to, but once you are there, many small shops, great restaurants, and boating activities nearI would definitely go back OR have an outing/training for my company

They were extremely accommodation and allowed us to check in early at 12:30 even though we arrived at the hotel early and did not want to wait because we were attending a big event and needed to arrive early, the fact that we were able to check in early was a very big plus! The GM was exceptional as well The staff were extremely helpful and happy to help with anything we needed I would definitely recommend this hotel for any friend or family

Thank you again!!!

Lyssa

Overall was a nice stay, the first front desk lady was unable to find my boyfriends reservation because they put his first name in wrong and was rather rude about it Our second attempt with a different staff member went well she was able to find it for us and change the name The rooms were nice and clean

The cleaning staff I’m not sure if they were training or not but were all grouped in the hallway outside of one room Overall was a nice stay

Randy R

We had a great stay at the Hartford Cobblestone We were a bit worried at first as there was a mixup with our Bookingcom reservation, but Jen at the front desk was able to sort things out and made sure our expectations were met

Jen was professional, accommodating, and patient as she worked through our issue If you need a place to stay in Hartford Wi, then this is really the only choice! The saltwater pool was loved by our kiddos!
