I don’t understand the high rating of this place This was just a stop on a very long drive for us The lobby was nice coming in and the evening worker was wonderful

Got in the elevator and there was trash and stickers on the walls and good on the floor The carpet on the landings need to be vacuumed or steam cleaned The room was large but the walls have stains all over them and missing pieces from furniture being moved against the wall The bedding was stained and box spring cover were so stained I’m surprised they would even keep something like that around The doors bolt was too high for the strike plate The tub train was stuck in the down position so you had to screw it completely out because it no longer pushed up and down The pillows were in the same position the last occupant had them for sitting in different areas And there was still hair on the sink and tub Again the front desk lady was very accommodating and moved us to a new room but the stains on the walls and box spring cover were all still there in the new room This place has a lot of potential it just needs a few people that care When leaving everyone was outside smoking under the no smoking signs across from the front door

The staff was lovely, that’s the only nice thing I have to say about this hotel Our toilet exploded on us in room one, the front desk ” upgraded us” I thought great, because this room is gross! Room 2 was worse

Not only was it not clean, by a long shot, the furniture was worn and ratty The TV apparently came off the wall so they patched the wall (didn’t paint over the patch) and put the TV on a small table infront of the couch, but you could only see half the TV from the beds because the couch blocks it The cord for the TV ran across the sitting bench The carpet was very stained, there was marks all over the walls, food or something stained on one The bathroom duct had mold growing out of it, the shower had mold and was stained The bathroom door was painted two different white colors, For $244 for the night, yes one night, this was EXTREMELY disappointing We stayed in the Holiday Inn the next night for half the price and in much nicer surroundings The kicker I called before making this post, and I was 27th in line to speak to someone – they don’t care

Overpriced 2star hotel in a very good location The place is old but they’re updating The bathrooms in rooms are very very small and you can’t change that by updating, a handicapped person would be very uncomfortable

I wish I could say the staff made up for the price and the outdated furnishings but they didn’t The front desk lady was unfriendly and it seemed like she didn’t even want to be at work there The breakfast is minimal but it’ll get you through the morning

We stayed here one night with a youth group consisting of 28 teenagers, 2 children, and 9 adults It is extremely conveniently located directly off I-40 The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, very helpful and accommodating

We had one room with an issue with a toilet that was found right after check in Rather than having us wait for it to be fixed, they quickly offered us a different room We had one student who had left some toiletries, and the front desk was readily able to help, even though it was 11pm The pool was very clean, much cleaner than most hotel pools I’ve visited The exercise room was clean and enjoyed to the fullest The beds were really comfortable with two choices of pillow, firm or soft Even the couch bed was comfortable The breakfast was a grab and go, so it was very convenient with this many people Each bread item was individually wrapped, which was a thoughtful touch The housekeeping staff that we were able to greet were gentle, kind, and wonderful If we are in this area overnight again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here

We decided last minute to stay at a hotel in town for the night and this hotel is located right off the highway which made it very easy to get in & out of The hotel is very nice and extremely clean The employees were all very nice & accommodating to our specific needs (handicap, etc

) The suite was nice with the extra space & couch, etc The beds were extremely comfortable for a good night’s sleep Plenty of bedding provided in room for the pullout if you needed including extra pillows The room was spotless and had everything we needed They had a free breakfast in the morning provided with your stay There is a large parking lot that was well lit and there were ample handicap accessible parking spaces This hotel has many restaurants closeby to get either fast food or s sit down meal I would definitely stay here again if needed Very pleased with our stay

Erin Whitney

This was a great hotel for our overnight stop on long road trip Check in was easy and the parking lot was well lit The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our family of four with modern appointments

We all appreciated the four pillows on each bed marked ‘soft’ and ‘firm’ for our different tastes The shower water heated up quickly and had full sized shampoo, conditioner and shower gel Our only complaint on the room, was that the bathroom fan could not keep up with the steam from the shower Breakfast lacked hot dishes, but was still tasty and convenient We would stay here again

We were not sure about staying here due to some negative reviews We were glad we stayed It was a good experience from check in to check out

The breakfast was good Most importantly, the room was very clean, spacious and everything worked as it was suppose to We would not hesitate to stay here again A special shout out to Brandon for being pleasant, professional, and accommodating A bonus was having coffee, tea and hot water available at all times in the lobby

Brad Cobb

The cleanest that my room was, was when I checked in I was there for 4 days They never vacuumed, cleaned the desk or sink area

Would take soap but not replace it I was lucky to even get my bed made The picture of a black speck is what came from the ice machine Frozen in the cubes The breakfast was decent but the lady serving the food would go outside with the GM for a smoke while wearing her glove and then come back in to work

Giving Tree Topeka

I have never in my life been so miserable in a hotel This hotel is near the interstate, like MANY hotels I have stayed at, but was apparently not built with the interstate in mind At 12:30AM I called down to the front desk because the interstate noise is SO LOUD I could not sleep

I have my phone with a white noise app, my laptop sitting next to my FACE with white noise on from YouTube And the front desk lady was nice enough to give me a fan because she said they did not have any rooms not facing the interstate She said this was a NORMAL THING FOR THEM TO DO! your staff is having to tell people to download apps and lining out fans so people can PAY to “sleep” there!? I STILL Could not drown out the extreme loudness of the interstate… this is on a WEDNESDAY NIGHT when there isn’t much traffic and it still was the most miserable experience of my life I truly pity anyone who TRIES to sleep here on a weekend I spend $150 to lay in bed crying all night because I drove 9 hours ALONE and now can’t get any sleep I will be giving this hotel a review on every platform I can find unless some sort of credit is given to me This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent and I have never in my life stayed in a hotel where it literally sounded like my window was open it was so loud Sitting in the bathtub with music on with the door closed, YOU CAN HEAR THE INTERSTATE! That’s not normal and your customers should be warned at check in Had I read a review about this I would not have wasted my money and gotten some sleep I now have five more hours to drive by myself and I will be praying to not crash as I got NO SLEEP I am appalled Just appalled you charge people to stay here Shame on this company Shame on anyone not warning the guests how horrible the road noise is inside this “hotel” A motel 6 would have been more enjoyable All of this does not even cover the horrible dirty body smell in the room… like a pillow that hasn’t been washed in a long time A blood stain on the carpet Infront of the mirror and hair in the bathtub

Randy Lewis

Front desk staff were great, that said, the first room assigned had dirty towels hanging in the bathroom Front desk found us another room and gave us a discount The next morning in the new room I found someone else dirty socks under the desk

They really need to inspect rooms or get a new housekeeping staff If housekeeping could be half as good as desk staff it would be a nice hotel

Very nice! We stayed in a comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath in Wellington Place With limited mobility, it was nice to stay in a condo with no steps, inside or out We had a lovely porch overlooking the hiking trail and golf course

The condo included a dining table for 4, 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter, a fully equipped kitchen, with nice pots and pans, very nice kitchen knives along with a washer and dryer The living room included a large screen tv and sleeper sofa The rooms also included televisions and clean, crisp linens Our unit was clean and smelled nice upon entry Tracy was very personable and welcoming at check-in, taking extra steps to find us a ready room and a condo without steps Alison was our lovely and helpful concierge; she provided us with lots of ideas and materials regarding things to see, places we could easily drive to and nearby restaurants We met Skip later in the week at the Activity Center and he helped us make walking sticks and also shared ideas to things to do in the area We attended a business meeting and had a nice BBQ lunch and met Josh, who shared a lot of information about the Wyndham products and he was both charming and pleasant! All in all, it was a lovely week at Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade This was the perfect home base from which to tour numerous parks, hike trails, see beautiful waterfalls, take a pontoon boat ride, tour wineries and distilleries, antique shop and just relax!

After an extremely unideal and uncleanly experience at a motel in town (bed bugs included!), we arrived at this hotel at nearly 2am in the morning, drenched from the rain, and were greeted with kindness and empathy from the lovely lady at the desk The room was impeccable! Super clean and modern Loved the kitchen and the fresh, clean smell that hits you as you walk in the door! Thanks so much for being accomodating during a rather stressful experience 🙂 highly recommend!!

I spent the past 5 nights at this hotel and I will definitely stay again the next time I’m in Cookeville TN The room was huge, full kitchen, very clean, friendly staff and all of the coffee you can drink! (Which I certainly took advantage of!) I should also add that the price is right! I will be returning and I highly recommend! Thank you for a pleasant stay!SM

We had our wedding there in April and it was absolutely perfect! After having a different location cancel on us last minute the garden was quick to help us get things figured out with no stress at all! They turned out to be a better option with great views, fantastic service, delicious food and very accommodating! Mike and Mertha paid close attention to detail and made appropriate changes to the menu that accommodated ever guest! They were also very funny and kind! They definitely know how to work with people!! The cost was responsible and they worked with what you wanted! It was the stress free weekend wedding i had always wanted! We’ll definitely be back for future visits!

First off, I’ve never stayed at a B&B before, and to be honest, I now know it’s not my thing (Many trips I take require leaving a room early in the morning for events then getting back later Not quite in line with a B&B mentality) that being said, it was a quiet and peaceful place in the middle of nowhere with a decent room

There wasn’t really seating in the room per se, and the TV was small But we weren’t there to watch TV The host were very attentive and accommodating, and while the hot water system might need an update to really enjoy the whirlpool in the room, I can’t really complain They even had a maid service the room which we haven’t had in a hotel for years (We would have left it a bit straighter that morning if we knew) I’m not sure I would go again, I’m more of a camping person, but if B&B’s are your thing, it’s a great place (It might not be fully handicap accessible, but I won’t swear to that)

Vance Ward

Great place to stay, with wonderful views! Set up well for groups I love that there are 6 wineries within 30 minutes! If you plan on staying in, just note, the TV’s in most rooms are small I see many negative reviews here, from folks thinking they can just walk up and in

This is a private B&B by reservations Follow the adult rules people!
