Overall it was okay It has starbucks stand inside and made to order breakfast you can buy, and parking is convenient Towels are pretty thin and feel cheap and the water pressure is low which I didnt really like

Also saw lots of ants (stayed on first floor) in the bathroom and it seemed like it was infested in the shower drain area For the price, would expect more

I had the most pleasant experience at this Courtyard Marriott this past weekend I am a professional DJ and I service hotels quite often From AV, Weddings, and Private Events

Had lots of experiences dealing with managers and staffing By far, I loved the great customer service I receivedMy friend’s family hired me to DJ their family reunion Upon arrival for load-in I was personally greeted with a warm welcome from the staff A manager by the name of “Jackie” assisted me She was so so pleasant and kindThroughout the entire event, from setup to breakdown Jackie was on top of every single detail Both her and her staff was extremely helpful in every way My friend’s family also booked a bunch of rooms and they were all raving how great the staff was tooThe Food was also catered by the courtyard marriott I beleive it is called Bistro Cafe or bistro to go The rice pilaf and veggies were my fav I had some crispy French fries too and their coffee and desserts were greatI will stay at this hotel before my flights at SFO from now on They have a 24/7 shuttle service which comes and goes every 30 mins to SFO I also like how there are a ton of places to eat along side the main cross street called El Camino RealOnce again, Thank you Jackie and your team I could tell that you are a well respected leader and that your staff and colleagues adore youHave an amazing day Courtyard! They had a great breakfast and helped me out immediately when I requested a crib for the room I expected more modern accomodations, but it was comfortable even if it seemed a bit old Definitely heard airplanes coming in and out

I also wish the shuttle service was 24-hours, it only goes until 10 and starts at 5:15 It will cost you between $20-30 in an Uber to get here from the airport, even though it’s only a 3-mile drive

My stay here has been absolutely wonderful The rooms are spacious and very clean The staff are extremely polite and gave been very patient with my queries and provided the help when I reached out

I witnessed staff being checked for COVID prior to the start of their shifts and that was very assuring during these stressful times As well, they have shuttle services to and from the facility to the airport and they also helped to secure a taxi to the airport fir easrly departure when the shuttle us un available I would have no hesitation recommending this place to my family and friends Kudos to the facility fir truly being there for their guests 👍👏

Beautiful stay! Very comfortable rooms, breakfast buffet that’s worth waking up for The distance from SFO is unbelievable, the price is good for the room and amenities We spent a few days and the front desk was always friendly! I asked for a fresh comforter and pillow, it was immediately delivered to the room

Did I mention the breakfast buffet with the omelets lol! Check it out, it’s worth a couple of nights and the free breakfast and parking is definitely a plus when in the Bay area!

Right before giving us our keys the hotel clerk forced me to sign a document that read the hotel hours and quiet hours, and that if we were found to be a disturbance, or selling or using drugs then we would be asked to leave without refund I believe they’re picking and choosing who they’re having sign this form, which is indicative to discrimination The hotel is not only outdated on the outside, but the inside is old, dark, dingy, and outdated

There is a mini refrigerator, yet no microwave inside nor outside the room The 2 bed Queen Suite is very, very spacious, and the rooms were clean The restaurant provides an amazing view of the ocean You need to make reservations to get good viewing seats The food and drinks were good, aside from the fish & chips smelling horrible and the bartender using his bare hands to smash mint leaves for my whiskey sour—that was a little gross considering that we’re in a pandemic The pool was acceptable and lukewarm The Jacuzzi wouldn’t turn on—we saw other guest in it the previous night, and it was working There’s absolutely no view that is worth viewing from the patios If you’re looking for a very nice getaway this is NOT the place, however, I’d highly recommend the restaurant!

My husband & I was put on the 2nd floor room 245 Upstairs was nonstop bouncing & feet moving the entire night leading into the next morning I called front desk 3:30am for it to stop

It did for about 10 minutes Sounded like an active daycare or gym No sleep at all & the pillows were half sinking type of pillows with a spring bed that’s very bouncy & uncomfortable! I had booked 2 nights however I called front desk early next morning & requested my Sunday reservation to be canceled Front desk made me call bookingcom to cancel They charged me $22200 total for one miserable night! Crown Plaza/ San Francisco airport took us in right away very early 11am check in and we have slept like babies on real pillows & comfortable king size bed for $17200 Our day plans were ruined for due to no sleep but thanks to Crown Plaza we will have a pleasant quiet night A nightmare experience please don’t book here if you want to sleep or if noise keeps you awake The walls are thin as paper! It’s not worth $100 bucks!

Placed in an oceanfront king bed room #119, just like what we paid for Upon walking in, the smell was overpowering – cigarettes and vinegar Attempted to air out without any progress

Window also on the lowest floor, facing the public walkway with lack of actual privacy if we keep the door open to hear the ocean sounds Everything inside was dingyCalled to front desk to change rooms Was told upon first call that all was booked out, then were able to get #451 two Queens even though my husband and I needed a King So we slept together on a Queen Room smelled better however we were facing all the fans and looking straight out at the utilities of the hotelNote: there are some Remodeled rooms and some aren’tOverall, we made do with what we had and attempted to pep each other up However it was a dingy, older smelling hotel, and completely not the ocean type of experience we wanted Thanks for having us, we just won’t ever be returning to any Wyndhams Just book the Fairmont next door

Very comfortable and homey feel to the hotel Staff is nice and accommodating No restaurant, so finding food or drinks is limited to a small stand by the reception (mostly frozen food)

Two things made the experience a little worse: breakfast was too basic, the omelettes didn’t taste well, boiled eggs were too cold Other options were cereal and toastSecond, as is the case with most hotels now, it seems to be a standard practice to limit room service to just towel change Covid is pretty much behind us and it should not be a justification for cutting services (without cutting prices too) We were offered a partial room cleaning every second day though But the hotel experience is lessened by limited serviceOverall a nice hotel and we will be returning (though probably find alternative breakfast places)

Front desk staff is so professional and nice!! Very Clean rooms, cozy beds, with lots of pillows Very quiet at night too being on the 3rd floor I was worried about noise from above but it was very quiet When I arrived front desk lady was dealing with 2 total rude Karen’s and she handled them with such professionalism and grace

Safe well lit parking lot compared to other places in the area Will most definitely be staying there again!! Breakfast was great for the kids

Nice lobby and staff, indoor pool and fitness area Nice view from the room The view was of a river like part of the bay, there was a garden outside with a gate only accessible in and out with a hotel key

The lobby was huge and had plenty of charging ports, a table for business, chairs, etc The indoor pool was nice and warm and has a handicap lift Thats the pros The cons are very hard beds, no microwave in the rooms, everything costs money including the breakfast and not a flat fee, by individual product The air conditioner thermostat is on the wall, but it runs a very old window metal one like you see in old hotels so of course it makes loud noises turning on and off The beds were so hard i slept on the floor instead Bathroom was spacious but the toilet was only about 6 inches off the floor with no rails or anything to help you up and it was in a nook, so no stretching out legs or having disabilities with that toilet So 50/50

Jason Smith

The rooms are good size and plenty of room and furnitureThere is a pool and jacuzzi, an exercise room and a couple gas grill if you want to cook something on the grillThe website says free grab n go continental breakfast, but they actually have a hot breakfast, eggs, potatoes, hot oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, muffins, juices, hot chocolate and coffee

Did some fishing right outside the building and also a great spot for a leisurely walk along the waterVery good value for the money

Rajai Dias

I don’t know why this hotel is highly rated! It’s an old residence inn that needs a lot of updating! Our room needed a lot of TLC! We got a double queen suite for the night Beds were ok for comfort All the handles for the doors in our rooms were falling off

The chair legs to the dining room table were all wobbly We had to leave a chair outside our room so they can take it away since it was one seat away from being broken We found old, funky, and filthy slippers under our bed— gross! The place seemed very short staffed and it was hard to get towels or anything else you needed I honestly feel like I should overpaid for this place Only pro: cable TV

We stayed there twice on our trip and that included my daughter I will say the hotel is “OK,” but if you are expecting something more you’ll be disappointed We found the beds to be uncomfortable, but the one we had the second time was not at bad as the first

If you are picky about cleanliness, you might also be disappointed There were places that should have been cleaned and my daughter stated the comforter in her room had cigarette burns in it Their breakfast is trivial, but will satisfy you If you want something other than muffins, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, etc you will have to go somewhere else We also did not feel like anyone, as personable as they were, really cared about any complaints from theirs guests I will also add they had trouble running my card prior to arrival, where none of the other hotels did There were able to charge that card 4 times for the same stay, but luckily 3 of them fell off without being posted Since we had already made reservations at the same hotel for our return trip, we did not cancel the last ones But, I don’t think we will stay there in the future

Rodel Romero

We had a good experience here for our one night stay in San Francisco Staff was very friendlyRoom was comfortable, except when we arrived to our clean room, we found a pair of crew socks under the table which made us wonder how clean the room really was

The water pressure was also very low The microwave and refrigerator were a huge plusBreakfast consisted of cereals, cold ham and hard boiled eggs, American single cheese slices, yogurt, toast, muffins and waffles Orange juice was pretty good

QuarterKei

First all, let me start by saying the staff was above and beyond amazing and friendly That is what helped me to stay the night I did After that, everything is over priced

The property is clean Do not expect a real breakfast, plan to go out (but that wasn’t my concern) I don’t care much about that My issue was my total stay was $500+ but upon arrival into the room I immediately realized false advertisement I thought that I was scammed by a 3rd party website but then realized I booked directly on their website We cancelled our second night If you look at the pics what I chose and paid for vs what I got was 2 different things I’m not paying higher prices for a basic room I’m going to leave things there but overall if it wasn’t for the staff friendliness I would have demanded a refund after walking in the room same day

Great price for the room we recieved It had an excellent view of the water I couldn’t stop staring out the window

The staff was very professional We loved the Bluetooth room key feature Check In was a breeze Check out was smooth as my wife could do it through the app Great hotel for the money We will definitely be returning

Andrew Di Rosa

This hotel has been a life saver We originally had reservations at the Homewood Suites across from the DoubleTree, but upon checking into the Homewood Suites, we were told that there was ongoing construction, and once we got to our room, it was disgusting We immediately left and went to the DoubleTree and were checked in by Cherlyn who made that process so easy and painless

We checked into our rooms and they were clean and the beds were comfortable The staff at the DoubleTree is really what makes it a good hotel to stay in though, particularly Cherlyn, who constantly went above and beyond for us during our stay She helped us with noisy neighbors in adjacent rooms, scheduled room cleaning at our convenience, and was overall one of the best people I have ever dealt with in customer service, period! That is something that is rare in this day and age, when someone goes above and beyond because they have a special quality about them Thanks to her for all her hospitality!

Hotel itself is very clean This review is specifically for their front desk staff who are extremely unwelcoming When I walked up to the front desk, NONE of the three staff members working even bothered to say “welcome/hello/hi”, nope, not even a smile

This was a recurring issue throughout my stay They are not even helpful, when I asked a few questions about the area and food recommendations, the front desk people could not be bothered to answer, and instead were very dismissive Given the cost per night, and the newness of the hotel, it would be nice to have workers at the front desk who make a guest feel welcome Given that its the only hotel in of its quality in the area, guests are kind of locked into receiving the bad treatment Do better Marriott, the world is too hard, can you please employ folks who make business travelers feel more welcome?

Jonas M

Room was clean for the most part, except for some funky stain on floor near toilet and on the curtains I can guess what goes on in this hotel being so near a couple pharmaceutical companies, and the lobby bar being pretty busy However I was there with my son for drop off at SFSU and that was really convenient

Food was great in the restaurant, the wait staff was really nice, as well as the front desk crew The not so good is the water pressure in the rooms is barely strong enough to wash the soap I know we’re in a drought, but jeezus, after a long day of travel it would be nice to take a 3-5 min shower with some pressure

Yvette

Our bed had fresh pee on it And when I called downstairs the incompetent lady in the front desk basically said I had peed on it lol she asked me if I wanted fresh sheets (no I wanted to sleep on the old dirty ones ) then she said she would talk to her coworker and let me know

let me know what? If I can get fresh sheets? The big solution they had for me was just turn the mattress over So either they never changed the sheets from the previous guest or they saw it and just added fresh sheets over the pee and expected me not to notice Either way it was disgusting

Usually one of the more decently priced places in the area Right next to a police station so you don’t have to worry too much about someone breaking into your car and they have 2 small garages for guests Staff is always friendly and accommodating

We have a specific room we get every time no problem Get a room closer to the back of the building/middle by the parking lot for quietest rooms the highway near the front can get be loud for some, we prefer the back of the building Breakfast is the usual and pretty good

Sydnie

Overall— great, relaxing stay Highly recommend this hotel! The front desk was very friendly when checking us in Super helpful

Free parking and free wi-fi! The room was extremely clean The bed was so comfy, we ended up purchasing our own set of sheets from them There were no noise disturbances at night Breakfast was 6-10am, lots of variety of food and drinks Enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee The check out process was very easy and smooth Every staff member we encountered was respectful, helpful, and kind Will definitely return and recommend to others

Vicky was so helpful at our check-in So friendly and engaging She told us about a couple places to eat dinner and everything about parking our car while we’re gone She even set up a ride to the airport the next morning Thanks for all you did for us We will stay here again Room was comfortable and slept well

Would give 45 if I could for the current very reasonable price Rooms very clean

Staff very nice A basic hotel/motel to stay for a day or two close to the airport Nothing to complain about basic amenities Location is about 30 min away from the city via car/uber, more than an hour taking public transport Couple of restaurants close by I know they might be bound by COVID regulations but there were a couple of things that did not really work and that we did not expect to encounter in spring 2022 Restaurant and airport shuttle not operating The most minimalistic breakfast and vending machines not working

Nice suite, clean and comfortable Appreciated that the complimentary breakfast included hot food optionsSome have mentioned the noise from the train, In building 2, I never heard a peep but a family member in building 3 did hear and found it annoying

Bed was comfy and the location was convenient and staff were pleasant and courteous

Fantastic, near flawless hotel Service from start to finish was excellent Obviously the location cannot be best, especially for earlier morning flights and aviation geeks

The bed is extremely comfortable and easily induced a great night sleep Charging locations conveniently located next to bed and elsewhere throughout the room The bathroom is beautiful and offers generous space The fitness center is wonderful I’ve already book several more nights at my new favorite hotel in all of California

A phenomenal experience with pretty much all staff The check in staff always charming and seem to be great with kids as well The valet always quick and on the roll

The gift shoppe quick and fun The house keeping staff sweet and efficient The restaurant was really tasty and the bar equally fun and delicious For the two nights of my stay the noise was minimal and the beds were super cozy Can’t recommend enough

What can I say that other reviewers have not already elaborated on? Just a one night stay before our flight out to Logan this is so convenient! Step off the elevator to the tram and on to your gate! Top Shelf accommodations we had Room 943 Freeway side the double pane glass is so thick we didn’t hear any traffic at all All modern fixtures with huge Flat Panel I like how the master bath floor lights come on automatic as you walk towards the bathroom at night

The only con we experienced is the water pressure seemed a bit low for shower? Plenty hot but flow was restricted Linda in the Twin Crafts Market for a quick breakfast on the way to our flight was a shining star! Don’t lose Linda! We will back for just the Quail & Crane restaurant! Get the hearth roasted salmon dish The Best!

I and my family went here just before Christmas last year It’s about an hour away from my house, but I reserved accommodation because I was going to take my two children to various places in San FranciscoTo conclude first, if you’re going to find accommodation near San Francisco Airport, I recommend this place ten or a hundred times

I really liked itAt first, the price was cheaper than I thought, and it was surprising that room conditions and breakfast were includedI have a six-month-old baby, so I asked for a baby bed, but the year was old, but it was kept cleanEverywhere in the room we were given was so, so, so clean Even if I rubbed it just in case, there was no dust Bedding, sofa, and any part of the kitchen were neatly arranged If you go here, you will know what I meanThe staff at the reception were also kind, and the breakfast is currently to-go system because of Covid-19I think it’s okay to order according to the number of family membersMy couple loved this place so much, and I was grateful that the children slept well all night We decided to make a reservation here next time we have another trip to San FranciscoI totally recommend this place to you guys

I stayed in a two bedroom suite for a few nights in late June The room itself was adequate in size, and was clean Fixtures and furniture ranged from new to worn (see photos)

The room and building were dated, but only in style–everything worked/was functional Water pressure was goodPool area is outdoor and well-kept Though the weather was unseasonably cool, the pool was heated well enough for one of my party to swim regularly Jacuzzi was unfortunately closed off Basketball available for court upon request at front desk There is also a BBQ area with nice grills and tables off to the side of the pool areaStaff were lovely and always happy to help, be it with directions to local spots or recommendations Breakfast bar was closed due to COVID, but they provided ample food in paper bags, which were filled via custom request slip (see photo)The main building housed conference rooms, a seating/dining area, small business center, and laundry facilities Washers and dryers were free to use, though you need your room key to access Bring your own detergent or purchase at the pantry beside the front deskLocation is near some basic shopping areas and a mall It is a bit of a hike to downtown SF, though the BART station is nearby Pretty close to the airport
