This hotel was clean and close to downtown We were able to take the free trolley to the aquarium thanks to the hotel clerk telling us about the free trolley The pool was nice my clods had a great time there

The lot where your car is parked is gated and can’t be walked into with a key or going through the lobby The room was kinda small but it was good for the value besides we only slept there Will def stay there again

I really enjoyed this hotel for a few good reasonsWhen you arrive, please don’t do like we did because we just didn’t know better Approach the gate but get close enough for it to open

You can enter the hotel from the parking lotTheir establishment is really cleanTheir rooms are very comfortableThey had a patio for the room we stayed inOne bedroom was apart from the other so privacy was good which caused us to relax moreDinner was really good Wednesday at the hotel and better than expected The meatballs were delicious! The vegetables were steamed to perfection The hummus was good with the pita chipsTalk about a really good breakfast They know breakfast and know it really well We had bacon cooked perfectly, eggs were cooked perfectly, and you can make your own waffles They had more to enjoy Staff had smiles on their facesA gentleman who worked the front had to do the dinner part and had the most pleasant smile He was really kindMany places are nearby to enjoy and a wonderful distance from Ruby Falls and other attractionsExtremely well kept hotel and they keep their grounds clean I actually saw someone picking up cigarette butts(By the way, dispose of them properly They shouldn’t have to clean up such mess because someone wants to be lazy If you smoke it then trash it correctly Stop treating folks like your servants)Great place so check them outThis is our place to stay for future getaways

Full fridge, a stove top, dishwasher, and coffee maker

my family of four loves to stay at staybridge for all the conventions we attend at the convention center Walk right out the door and across the street Staff are friendly and attentive Indoor pool and hot tub are well maintained as well as the gym Can’t beat an IHG breakfast buffet with REAL eggs and omelets, bacon and sausage that are fresh and not just reheated, fresh coffee, fruit, yogurt, toppings, boiled eggs, fountain drinks with the good ice, and three waffle makers There’s also a nice outdoor seating area I’m thankful for a comfortable place to stay that allows me the convenience of fixing my own meals to carry down to con Hands down will stay many more times!

Arrived at 1020 pm on a hot July night to arrive in a 90+ degree room on the top floor Apparently the “eco friendly” AC turns off if it doesn’t sense movement… so here we are at almost 11 pm sweating waiting for the AC to make it a decent temperature in here to be able to sleep Hope we don’t have to jump around the room in the middle of the night to make it keep working

This hotel receives my highest recommendation The staff are absolutely the best Just nice people

The customer service tops everything The facility is very clean and smells very good The rooms are very good The standing shower is spacious and done well The breakfast is decent The hotel is right off the freeway and has some decent dining options nearby I have one suggestion for the management Please use raised toilets and have a bar on the wall for support I have a back issue that bothers me every now and then So, a raised toilet and a bar to hold and pick myself up would help a lot I am certain some other customers might find these to be useful features Overall, just a wonderful place and experience

Sam

So I have been staying at this hotel for 7 months now I have seen it decline over the time I wanted to think it was staffing issues, but now I’m sure it is all the way to the top management

The staff has become rude, the rooms are not as clean and the over hotel is declining I have tried a few time to reach the GM to let them know and have not heard back from him now after 3 attempts I no longer stay here as I have chosen a new hotel to stay at for my weekly trips I stay at Hilton properties 5 to 6 days a week for work So please understand it’s not a meaningless review They need to look at this property before it gets to the point of no return I hope someone sees this and takes it to heart and not just let things slide Best of luck with this hotel They will not treat you any better and it will be a luck of the draw if you get a clean room

PM Biffa

Brand new hotel in a new complex of restaurants including a steak restaurant, Mexican, pizza, and brands including Dixie Queen, Chick-fil-a and Starbucks Nice big rooms, immaculately clean and fully equipped

apart from a room safe!Good breakfast for this type of hotel Just a couple of downsides apart from no safe are; AC unit is to noisy and powerful It runs like crazy when it’s above temperature then stops, then off its goes again Would be nice if it just ran slow and continuous And ask for a room the opposite side from the Interstate! But generally a nice place albeit a little pricey for a 3 star

Great hotel with a nice atmosphere Rooms were clean and well laid out with nice amenities (dual shower heads, quiet AC/heater, etc)

The in-hotel restaurant did not disappoint with food or drink on multiple occasions All of the staff was friendly and even recognized a couple of my co-worked from a prior trip several weeks ago Over all, a great experience The hotel is also within walking distance to several great local bars and restaurants I will certainly be staying there if I visit Chattanooga again

From the very first visit to this hotel, it was nothing shy of Great! This goes for the hospitality and great customer service from the front counter personnel to the bar tenders I was greeted by Josh with a big smile at the front counter upon assisting me with getting familiar with the hotel and all the amenities that were offered during my stay He really listened and helped to fulfill all the things I needed for a special occasion that I’d planned while staying there

Also Peter the owner of the Hotel took extra special care of me and my guest which was so Wonderful! I would like to also say thank you to Cristina and Aaron for helping to assist, direct, and coordinate my event to make it as memorable as possible You Guys Rock! I am truly grateful and give this hotel a five star rating review to anyone asking about staying

Teresa Lovell

They did an amazing job They have 2 fire pits outside that you can sit and have a cup of coffee or a drink The staff is so friendly and helpful The price for what you get is awesome It comes with a free breakfast and not just a continental breakfast, it is so much more I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay

The hotel itself was very clean, somewhat updated and our room was nice The free breakfast, coffee and tea are great in the morning for something light to eat Checkout was easy, all done electronically and they had a place to drop off your keys at the desk

The area right where the hotel is has a couple restaurants and feels safe The East Ridge area surrounding the hotel is run down, in re-development stages and didn’t feel super safe, but we mostly utilized the hotel to rest our heads and sleep It’s about a 10 minute drive with no traffic to downtown Chattanooga, 20-25 minutes most times with traffic Staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating For the $160 per night I’d splurge and stay closer to downtown Chattanooga if we came again, where hotels prices were around $200+ per night, but located in nicer areas and more convenient for being centrally located to the downtown

Mark Bauer

My third and final stay at this Fairfield Inn It’s in a very convenient location for a stopover when driving between Florida and the Midwest The hotel is aging and badly in need of a refresh — including my lumpy bed

But that wasn’t what really bothered meI checked in during a heat wave and the outside temp was 104 The a/c in my room was actually turned off and the temp inside was 89 degrees It took two hours for the room to be comfortable Was the hotel saving money on electricity or does it have poor housekeeping practices? The next morning I was in a hurry to get back on the road for another 10 hour drive I found there was no hot water in the shower I didn’t have much time so I took a quick unpleasant cold showerWhile getting dressed I called the front desk and spoke to Clyde While he was polite he essentially blamed me for everything The room was too hot on check in? Well Clyde said — I should’ve asked for a different room After a 10 hour drive traveling alone with my dog — I want a room that’s maintained and I don’t accept it’s my job to let the hotel know when basic services aren’t providedAs to the shower Clyde offered to come up and fix it But this isn’t a resort hotel This is a moderately priced hotel on an interstate highway where people stay overnight I didn’t have time to wait for someone to come up and fix it I needed to get back on the road for another 10 hour drive How can the room be clean if the staff didn’t notice there was no hot water in the shower? It’s not my responsibility to tell the hotel that a room is uninhabitable and needs maintenance If the hotel is actually cleaning the room, how could staff not notice no a/c or hot water? Clyde tried to blame me saying I should’ve complained But Clyde is rejecting the basic concept here of a Marriott providing basic needs without having to ask for itI’ve stayed here twice before and won’t stay again Even without the problems — this is an aging property in a city filled with brand new hotels charging approximately the same price You can do much better than staying here

Laura Slowinski (LearnWithLaura)

We stopped here just overnight so it would break up our long ride The hotel was clean Our sink was clogged and the sheets were stained, but the front desk staff was super friendly and they had a toothbrush for me because I left mine in the car

Random thoughts, but overall not a bad place, just not the best either We were safe and were able to get some sleep

What a great value! Got this booking on a Priceline opaque deal (they just give me a price, not the hotel) and I am so glad I did thatHotel was recently renovated and it shows Clean room, clean bed

I like the concrete floors too, hotel carpet always is gross The room is a bit small but traveling solo it’s perfect If I had the whole family it’d be a squeeze but it might work Room has a microwave and mini fridge which used to be common but seems to be going away in a lot of budget hotelsDesk manager was very friendly and helped me with parking a large moving truck and trailerSuper Convenient to I-75 and surrounded by a bunch of food options and walkable to a gas station next door with a lot of optionsChattanooga is always my half way point stop-off on road trips between Michigan and Florida I’ve stayed in a number of hotels on this strip but never this one specifically I’ll definitely be staying here from now on

Lauri komita

The staff was very friendly The room was clean Rooms were recently renovated and nice

Has cement floors that were cold but so much cleaner than carpet! Was nice to have a breakfast but was just cereal and toast Coffee was hot You will definitely have road noise if on that side We were on backside of motel so was not an issue Bed was supposed to be a queen but was a double Front desk argued that it was but I measured and was not Electric went out Staff got it back on Said we’d be reimbursed with some credit but we never were and front desk said they couldn’t at check out

Enjoyed this place before, but this time as a casual older traveler there was no senior discount and the extra charge for dogs is not clearly mentioned and appears only as fine print We booked directly with the hotel and mentioned our two smaller dogs Got a two night rate of approx $370 with taxes and then found that had not taken into account the dogs and that had to be tacked on

Discovered this out when we got to the hotel They did allow us to cancel when we checked in and found out the added fees I appreciate “dog friendly”, but fee needs to be more prominently displayed

Jordan Guinn

We had a very pleasant two night stay at this hotel The king suite had ample room for our whole family (2 adults and 2 children)It was a very clean room, especially the bathroom and kitchen

It’s located near a large shopping mall, so options for food and entertainment are plentifulThe staff is exceptional, with a special thanks to the folks working in the evening The were very attentive and friendly

This hotel was nice for a lot of reasons but the FIVE STARS are for the amazing staff!!! Our family is well travelled and we were very impressed with the housekeeping, kitchen and front desk teams

in our short weekend stay we only got to personally meet Dee, Willie, Christina, Kyle, Dwight and Johnbut each of them really went above and beyond the call of hospitality to meet and exceed our expectations Well done everyone, you all deserve a BIG raise!!!

Location is very busy, but that’s what you’d expect for the area Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and a great continental breakfast in the morning Some staff was fantastic, others were a bit iffy

Loved the ladies cleaning the rooms! So personable and welcoming A major breath of fresh air, and our kids loved their smiling faces

Amy Lenz

Stopped in for a short overnight (got there after 12) but had a good impression Lobby was expansive but somehow still cozy Rooms were comfortable and efficient

Lots of food options nearby (which we didn’t get to enjoy) Only “down-side” was house-keeping knocking on our door a little after 10am Granted, I didn’t have the sign on the door but was letting my son sleep in, so equally my fault Didn’t get to try breakfast Would definitely stay here again

Adra Maxwell

The bathroom here in our room is EXTREMELY small Room was somewhat clean The bedskirt on both beds has stains/dirt on both beds

I was not happy about that The ac did work great though So that’s a plus I did enjoy breakfast, as it was hot Scrambled Eggs, sausage, boiled eggs, muffins, etc Some of the TV channels weren’t working, not sure why

Very nice place to stay Very clean with nice sized rooms You can see some aging in the rooms (scuffs in the paint, cracks in the caulk in the shower) but nothing to be worried about

If you are staying in the area, this is one of the best places to stay The breakfast is very good with a cook making omelettes to order Also, there are many nice touches paying tribute to Volkswagen’s history

Overall, we loved this place & would totally stay here again! The beds were super comfy, our room was nice, and the breakfast was great! There were take away items (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bottled water, etc) that you could grab, put in a bag, & go They also had a full eat-in breakfast with cinnamon rolls, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cheese omelets, & scrambled eggsWe appreciated the blackout shades that allowed the room to be extra dark at night, even in a heavily lit suburban area

This hotel felt very safeThere were a few issues, one of which had nothing to do with the hotel:We reserved our room on Bookingcom about 15 minutes before we checked in & paid online, which was a mistake Bookingcom messed up our payment, but Dasha, our amazing front desk clerk, went out of her way & did everything in our power to help us get everything fixed To be clear, the issue was 100% with Bookingcom and had nothing to do with our hotel Dasha went above & beyond to fix the payment problem & was extra kind and helpful throughout the entire ordealSecondly, the first room we checked into was dirty & had signs of possible bed bugs (though it seems more likely that it was just a gross mess someone left behind under the mattress, that housekeeping didn’t look carefully enough to find) We were moved to another room on the other side of the hotel that was clean & comfortable

Our stay here was pleasant We were in the historic tower The room was spacious, clean, and very nice

While we are here during the weekday, it is still a holiday week It would be nice for them to extend hours of the bar and room service Room service is only available on weekends One elevator didn’t work, so the wait for it was a little long We still loved our stay because we love the history of the building and will come back

Immensely enjoyed our stay at Read House Our room was spacious and well appointed The bathroom was gorgeous with a huge walk in shower, elegant tile work and every surface gleamed

I don’t know what type of mattress they use there but it was like sleeping on a cloud! I would love to know what they use Best night’s sleep of my life! The hotel itself is just beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and inviting The very definition of customer service! From the valet parking staff, to the front desk, and the bellmen Matt and John in their gold vests and bowler hats, everyone was so friendly and accommodating And don’t miss the haunted room tour It really is fun!!I would stay here again at the drop of a (bowler) hat! Loved it!❤️

I travel a lot and I’m super picky about hotels Stayed here while on a multi day day field trip to Chattanooga with my son I was pleasantly surprised

It was centrally located and within walking distance to a lot of the city attractions, shops and restaurants The hotel was well staffed, clean and offered a GREAT breakfast buffet The rooms were nice I had forgotten what housekeeping felt like It’s been rare to get new towels and made up beds since 2020 This hotel has it though Lastly, the beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever stayed in!I would stay here again! 🙂

To stay off front desk clerk Dee, sick great welcome & recommendations from him He was always smiling & laughing The hotel had a restaurant attached, valet parking or street parking are your options

The room was clean & the bed was comfy, is not the normThis hotel is great location to restaurants & stores 15 min drive to Ruby Falls

But generally a nice place albeit a little pricey for a 3 star

visited 3 – 5 June 2022: The room was clean, breakfast was light but adequate staff were pleasant and helpful My wife and I used the gym (elliptical and treadmill)

None of the displays work and one treadmill didn’t work at all The breakfast staff person Saturday was one point however, the staff person on Sunday morning was slow to restock the juice/milk chest so both were warm Plus you had to ask for water because it was not available in the serving area Visited this hotel when it was first built so we know a better job can be done Yet, if our options are limited as was in this case we would stay at a Homewood Suite Hotel

Jonathan Jones

I’ve stayed at several Homewood Suites before, always among the best small-suite hotels Here, the lady at check-in was one of the sweetest people we met while in Chattanooga, genuine & hospitable, she made us truly feel welcome The majority of other staff we encountered, however, barely lifted a finger

One employee at the breakfast area simply watched TV for half an hour Fresh coffee would have been nice What was there was lukewarm When trying to re-enter the next morning, a man at the front desk simply yelled through the glass “Back Up” as I keyed the entry, and then not a word or even eye contact when I walked through the door That was the general vibe for most of the staff except the sweet lady on check-in Plus, these are old rooms w/ a makeover Smaller than other Homewood suites and with popcorn ceilings and bathrooms that would look more like fitting in a Super 8 than in a Hilton brand hotel

Doc B

While the front desk and lobby areas are pretty modern, the rooms are in need of an update They could also use some extra time being cleaned as my room didn’t look like it had more than some sheets thrown on the bed Also, and perhaps more importantly to some, you hear EVERYTHING around you

Guy above you taking a dump? Yup, you hear it Couple below you on their honeymoon? Yup, you hear that too (Congrats Darla and Craig, hope you nuptials last longer than well you know)The included breakfast is mostly typical (premade omelets, a meat and starch) but it didn’t offer as much variety as other Hilton’s and was barely warmed up the days I stayed The second day I literally threw it in the trash after a few bites and walked across the street to the waffle houseIt’s not all bad, but if those are some critical criteria for your trip, then consider another location

Room was clean overall except shower needs more thoroughly cleaning There was a vent in the bathroom but no fan Breakfast should offer eggs without cheese option and better tasting coffee Room layout good for overnight trip on a road trip but would look for another place for a longer stay

(No closet only hang rail and hooks, very small desk, has mini fridge but no microwave or in room coffee)

Absolutely amazing staff that would make any manager proud ! AGM Sean , Kim at the front desk and Tim are all wonderful at what they do You can tell they truly care about going above and beyond for guest ! Every time I am there those 3 in particular make me feel welcomed The rooms are good for a couple or traveling alone and I love the smell of the lemon soap in the bathroom ! Breakfast is always delicious and I think the pancake machine is a really cool addition !

Room 218 (faces Red Roof Inn) My reservation was for 3 nights while in town I had high hopes, but as soon as I pulled into the parking lot and saw the people hanging around outside at the Red Roof Inn, which shares the parking lot I knew I wouldn’t get any rest for worrying about my vehicleThe reception and check in was speedy and very polite

My room, 218 felt like a humid jungle upon arrival The rooms are small, but a fridge is in the room and the TV was large The water pressure and hot water was lacking terribly; I have more pressure in my 5th wheel I let the water run on the highest “hot”setting for over 20 minutes and it never got pass luke warm If you like extra firm beds, then you’re in luck! The pillows ugh, that’s why I always bring my own Breakfast choices are what you’d expect, nothing noteworthy I definitely would not stay againIf you park on the Red Roof Inn side be prepared to be approached by randoms for money
