This is an older Courtyard but it has been updated and appears to be well maintained The staff is attentive and I have actually had housekeeping service for the three days I was there The gym is larger than most hotel gyms and they have a nice outdoor area part of the original Courtyard design

The bistro offers Starbucks in the morning and a reasonable dinner menu at night My only complaint is there is a lot highway and airplane flyover noise (path of DFW)

Lisa Landon

I stayed due to us having Regional meetings for work They took great care of us We stayed 2 to a room

The vanity was small, so only one of us could brush teeth, put on makeup, fix hair, etc The rooms were nice, clean and the beds were comfortable We had 2 meeting rooms, and lunch was provided each day, and was good They have a bar in the lobby, and a free shuttle that took us to our dinner location

Steven Long

This is a fine place to flop for a night if you want to be close to the airport It’s definitely an older hotel, but seems pretty well keptThe staff we met with were all very nice

If you stay there, you can park and fly from there for $20, which is pretty amazing The shuttle was beat up and seems like it could use some suspension work, but the drivers were nice and knew where they were going so definitely $20 well spentWhen we needed to be picked up upon return, they got there super fast and had the same good serviceMy main gripe with this place is that our room stank Sort of mix between old, musty hotel and cat pee Or maybe like rotten fruit Hard to describe Not sure if all the rooms had this or just ours We didn’t want to change rooms because it was really late and our kiddo was already crashedI’m giving this place 3 stars because of the smell, the age of the property, and because it’s pretty much just a plain hotel with good service If you’re just going to the airport, the location is perfect If you’re doing much else, it’s not a great spot

This is a great extended stay hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful I have loved here for extended periods on 2 occasions while shopping for a house and then while building one I have since moved from Texas and commute in for work a few times a month and always stay here

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and since I travel alone, I feel very safe here Reading through reviews, I saw a complaint about not cleaning the room It is an extended stay so housekeeping only comes one a week, or after you depart, whichever comes first They tell you this on arrival and there is a sign as well You can exchange towels at the front desk as needed The shuttle service is great, they will take you to local restaurants, hospitals and even the grocery store Overall, highly recommend this hotel

Shannese Sanchez

I wish I could give 10 stars! We had a large group and booked 5 rooms They accommodated us with early checkin for most of the rooms, assisted in late check out when we needed it Everyone was super friendly and made the stay great

The rooms were nice and clean, housekeeping answered help in a very quick manner If you imagine how a group of 20 people including kids looked roaming the hotel at all hours and to have received no complaints or anything was amazing I have stayed in many hotels and resorts, this was by far the best experience ever!!!

Pretender to the throne of Alsace Lorraine

We loved this place! Check in was so easy , check out was easy The beds were comfortable and clean and the front desk was so helpful and super nice I felt safe and comfortable and very at ease! 10/10 recommendNote : the shower was a pain! It was like a pressure washer and the tub filled up so fast even though the drain was upBut first world problems you know ?10/10 recommend

My experience at this hotel was incredible! The shuttle picked me up seamlessly from the airport upon my arrival My suitcase zipper broke and the staff fixed it for me The rooms were spacious, very clean and peaceful

Gym was sufficient for a hotel gym and breakfast was good also! Will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend!

Jess Lynn

My friends and I were able to book the same day we needed to stay after our horrible experience at a different hotel we were supposed to have a booking at We went through Bookingcom and once we arrived shortly after booking, they got us our hotel keys and into our room without a single issue! The front desk staff were wonderfully polite and made the experience very easy and comfortable, and checking out on the 5th was just as easy

The room was very clean and the beds were comfy, it was a great place to relax and escape the Texas heat and the commute from this hotel to the Irving Convention Center was fairly short which is a huge plus for my group! Room service was very polite and in general, our stay ended up being very pleasant on all fronts We will be coming back the next time we need to book a hotel in Irving!

Brittany Jackson

I’ve stayed here for 2 weeks and I don’t have any of the issues I’ve read from others ! Except for the mildew smell in the front when you walk in but that has been remedied The housekeeping is impeccable and I love the breakfast I’ve been helped with fees as well as it relates to my pets

I have no need to use the shuttle but if I did I do understand there’s times where a driver is not available but that’s happened at other places I have stayed and we just found alternate means of travel and we’re young adults on a budget and we didn’t mind Everyone is friendly I feel at home here

Stayed here for the price and location I was running the Irving Half Marathon, visiting a client in North Fort Worth, and flying in/out of DFW Close to the airport without airport prices, and it was super easy to jump on the freeway

The hotel itself was nothing special; your typical longer-stay type of place What made it special was the hotel staff They were very professional and kind Room was new-ish, granite countertops were a nice touch that I didn’t expect in this class of hotel Walls were paper thin which was the only downsideI would likely have only rated this 3 stars as I only stayed here for the price, but I was so impressed with the staff that I’ll give it 4 stars

Dee Lane

Positive: Employees were very nice and they do serve some fresh items at breakfastNegative: Window was broken and my toddler cut himself on it There was no glass around so it had been there and no one replaced the windowThere was a lady being arrested next door screaming and pleading for her baby The baby was left screaming with the police until family came

There were several cops

Stephanie C

the location is great, near fast food, shopping and major highways when I pulled in and parked by the stone walls there were 2 cokroaches, the room smells of cigarettes, my 2nd card key didn’t work so I was locked out for a while and when I called to see if there was a room for 2 qeeens vs the queen and pull out I was told they’re booked and was hung up on breakfast was good and they offer a lot of amenities

Sherry Belyeu

When we tried to book a room after getting back late from the airport, they said they were full and that’s understandable However, when we asked for help to book with one of the sister hotels, the front desk lady said “She was busy and that she had other things to do” We live in a very free country

If you do not want to work in customer service, you have the FREEDOM to get another job where you don’t have to work with the public She had horrible customer service

Texas Cowgirl

We stayed twice at this hotel The facility is very convenient to the airport with the complimentary shuttle service Both of the drivers are very friendly and helpful

Last month when we checked in, a tall handsome guy with nice blues shirt, long nails helped us He is super helpful and very patient with booking our shuttle, giving us all the staying information, such as room service, breakfast time, elevator locations, etc Yesterday when checked in, a Spanish lady helped us She had problems with the credit card machine which is a very old version credit card machine I had to put my card information manually by myself eventually and it worked The complimentary breakfast is hot and fresh which is surprisingly good The breakfast server had a very obvious different manners and attitude towards different customers I don’t want to say she is racist since she is also a colored woman She is obviously profiling customers depending upon how they look which is very unprofessional She definitely needs more training

Kathryn Distler

I spent a night here between connecting flights at DFW and was so pleased with my stay The lobby and bar were well-appointed and welcoming, and everything was spotless I was surprised at the size and comfort level of my room—especially at the price point

The free airport shuttle service was excellent as well (thank you, Dan!!) I didn’t want to leave Highly recommend!

Roderick Parr

The door to my room was jammed and very hard to open I requested maintenance to fix the door which I’m sure they tried to do but couldn’t The maintenance man was very nice so I don’t blame him

According to the hotel concierge all the doors are like this due to the foundation shifting The real issue why I’m giving one ⭐ is the treatment I received when I was getting breakfast The server who was preparing the food asked me if I was staying there She didn’t ask anyone else because I went and asked other people Her job is to prepare the food not to question who is staying at the hotel As a Marriott Ambassador I’m very much disappointed and will be following up with management

The hotel is very clean and well maintained The room was comfortable and quiet, the gym had everything that most people need, the pool was good temperature, and the breakfast buffet was perfect Sierra (managing the breakfast on the weekends) was extremely pleasant and helpful

When checking out, Lynn realized that the airport shuttle was late and she immediately ordered a Lyft ride (paid for by hotel) for me so I could make it on-time for my flightI would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area Top quality and cost effective

Sadie Lamberson

The room was very clean and comfortable The staff was awesome Mostly the night Audit

And the night audit was above and beyond when I needed to ask a question and get extra towels When their was a line of people behind me He kept his composure He apologized to the rest of the customers in line Told them to grab a water or snack while he was helping me with my issues I give the night audit a 100 % His name was Joseph 👍

Trent C

Everything was fine until that $450 charge showed up For a one night stay In addition to the $200 I was charged for the room

So that’s nearly $700 I’ve been without since 5/13, today is 5/18 I can’t afford to eat tonight because of their malfeasance I’m a diamond member, but this experience has me committed to never using the Hilton chain again

I stayed in the MCM Elegante Dallas for two nights and attended a convention in their meeting and event rooms The entire experience was great! The staff impressed me with their helpfulness and courtesy They had our event rooms set up and ready to go, stocked with fresh water

The bathrooms were always clean, and the staff was available whenever I needed help I found comfortable and roomy, clean and quiet There were several restaurants and a Starbucks within walking distance I’d definitely return

Justin Talley

While the room decor was nice, the paint was somewhat peeling and even though the two rooms we had, one in the poolside Cabana rooms and one up in the fourth floor of the main hotel, were supposed to be non-smoking, both smelled kinda smoky I know sometimes it can’t be helped especially after years of use But overall, for the price and the service, I definitely think it was worth our stay

The kids also enjoyed the pool in the morning before we checked out and the food that came with the room was excellent There was so much bacon! The breakfast food staff was helpful and amazing even with our large group! Thank you for the late shift to help us check in and we’re super helpful and kind

Sam Szczesny

We stayed at this hotel for the DollCon Dallas 2022 convention and I loved my stay! The rooms were comfortable and clean and I was genuinely surprised how many updates were made in a more historic/older building The TV was a good size plus the rooms had a spacious bathroom and a microwave and mini fridge The morning breakfast was also delicious! I hope we get to return to the hotel next year because it had the perfect layout for our event as well

Thank you, MCM Elegante and staff for the lovely visit!

Has old and tired decor, also a simple cafe for breakfast in the morning The rooms are basic and require modernisation There is a pool and a small gym

The persons at the hotel are friendly and very helpful I really liked the persons serving at the cafe and also the persons at the front desk

Tyra Devereaux

This hotel gets zero stars!!They need to work on their custoner service It starts at the service deskFirst an African American lady name Kimara was there and I asked her how she was doing And she said oh just trying to study for my finals

I’d be fired if I was doing that at work She was not friendly or cordial There was an issue with the code I used and the agent was aware of this but she did not help me with it and did NOT apologize for the inconvenience I also showed her my paper license and she did not hand it back right away so I forgot it and when I was checking out early I then told the male agent that she did not give my license back and he said it is hereThis hotel needs to be remodeled It is outdated The elevators are ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HALL!!! Oh I called to speak with the CEO or GM Nick and of course he took the side of his agent In my opinion, they both need to work on their customers serviceWon’t ever go back there I expected a Marriott to have excellent service and everything, but not this one!!! They are uncaring and they should be like in the oil field or something where they don’t have to try to assist patrons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Help and kindness goes a very long way but Courtyard Marriott Dallas Las Colinas know nothing about that!! I had to enter one star to be able to continue but ZERO STARS FROM ME

This home2 has very friendly staff, a shuttle that starts at 710 am Every time I return to Dallas for extended trips, I try to book this hotel because it’s run quite well You can’t beat having a kitchenette and grocery stores nearby that the shuttle can take you to

Ty, Hana, and the other front desk staff do a great job Highly efficient and go above and beyond to meet requests The shuttle drivers are timely and hard working Ulysses makes shuttle rides fun Great driver, conversationIt’s always nice to see hotels that still have great service— somewhat hard to find these daysI’m pretty confused by the negative reviews You’re staying at a Home2 not a Waldorf AstoriaI travel a lot for work, and this home2 is a 10/10 for service, cleanliness, shuttle Thank you home2!

George Altevogt

Definitely not impressed at all with this H2S location I’m 75+ nights per year with Hilton and this is one of the weaker locations which I have patronizedI spent one evening at this location as I was participating in an endurance race the next morning and wanted a full size refrigerator and freezer

The exterior of the dishwasher was completely disgusting There is no way I would use the dishes inside There was a dirty knife in the sink when I checked in The headboard had a very interesting substance caked on one end Let your mind wanderThe shower basin was nor secured to the floor and would flex when you stood on the end farthest from the shower headDefinitely the most disappointing Hilton experience this year

Cyn J

I have stayed here a few times I think my favorite feature is the elevator with glass walls I rarely see these elevators at long-term stay oriented hotels, so it was a very nice addition

The hotel is showing some signs of aging, but nowhere near enough to negatively impact a stay They also have an airport shuttle and are within walking distance (10 minute walk max) of multiple restaurants and Walmart Depending on the room, some are larger than others and more conducive to family stays The queen room can fit 3 comfortably, 4 would be a bit crowded

Biggest complaint – one towel when we checked in… that is the ONLY complaint we had This hotel is amazing! When we made our reservations and they were so cheap we just knew it was going to be bad However we were trying to stay within budget and holy cow!!!! Diamond in the rough is an understatement! Service was great, room was spacious, water was hot

Neighborhood was nice and quiet Will come back next time!

Mileydis Atkins

Nice pool back yard/patio, rooms were clean but hotel is old, looks like they did some renovation but still have the smell and old look in the hallway, doors etc You have to request the room service (boo if you don’t know) breakfast sucks! They only give you a box of prepackaged food that tastes like a cardboard No fresh food

Staff was nice, good location

Lori Throne

My family and I stayed this past weekend We had a 2-bedroom suite that far exceeded our expectations We arrived after midnight but were greeted warmly and checked into our room promptly

The room was very spacious and larger than anticipated There is free parking and a free hot breakfast with different items daily The front desk also supplied us with complimentary toothpaste and razor as we neglected to bring our own This will be our first choice on future stays

Lauren Ciambriello

We stayed here from 7/16-7/19 I called a few days ahead to confirm my reservation since I booked through T-Mobile travel We chose this hotel because they are pet friendly

This was the first La Quinta I’ve stayed at that actually charged a pet fee, it is $20 non refundable Staff was super friendly and not one person that I interacted with had an attitude The room was clean and very nice looking The only downside was it did have an odor that I just couldn’t put my finger on to describe the smell After a few moments you become nose blind to it and it didn’t bother us enough to complain or ask for another room It also didn’t have a remote which was no big deal, we just went to the front desk and asked for one The walls are thin we definitely heard peoples whole conversations in the hallway which also didn’t bother us because it wasn’t late at night or early in the morning The pool itself was clean but the sitting area had cigarettes and beer caps all over If you’re going to the pool definitely leave some slides or sandals by the edge because that ground gets hot! They offered breakfast in the morning of eggs, sausage, waffle station, muffins cereal coffee and juice Nothing overwhelmingly great but decent and filling I would definitely stay here again!

Andrea Nida

Stayed at this location 5 years ago and it’s definitely declined in service, amenity, structure upkeep Not sure how much is post pandemic trying to save money, shortage of help or possibly new La Quinta business model?Room was clean and comfortable bed Our AC was cold

Pet friendly but now charging pet fee for each pet Staff wasn’t overly welcoming, but not rude Breakfast absolutely not what it used to be It’s hot but very few items to select and not good No fresh fruit, yogurt juice choices or water Same wet soggy eggs, dried out sausage, toast every single day or cereal Dryer in laundry not working Broken glass in pool area, informed front desk and she said she was alone so couldn’t do anything We swam came back later and it was still all around the pool I took a caution sign from inside and put by the broken glass at pool Hot tub broken, pool cloudy and questionable Sundry freezer empty entire week we stayed, drinks stayed empty and no snacks except a few bags if sea salt chips Two occasions asked and no quarters for laundry area Dead rat for two days in pet potty area The hall carpet was dirty with trash several days in a row They literally count your dirty towels and sheets at the front desk if you need clean ones so low budget Needs a refresh, the upkeep isn’t there For the price point there’s a newer hotel close by It’s not the worst but I wouldn’t stay again unless things were fixed, up keep done and stocked for open business

Alexis Isnhower

My family and I didn’t even get to stay We were excited to go to such a high-rated, nice hotel I called to verify our reservation would be ok if we arrived very late, and was told the card I held the room with could not be used

I have worked years in the hotel industry and never had these issues I had another card to pay for the room if necessary and it somehow declined Instead of trying to be helpful when I am traveling with multiple children, the receptionist suggested I should cancel since I don’t have payment I had two cards to pay with and a family happy to stay at La Quinta, and my reservation was cancelled without my notice We will be staying elsewhere

When we made our reservations and they were so cheap we just knew it was going to be bad However we were trying to stay within budget and holy cow!!!! Diamond in the rough is an understatement! Service was great, room was spacious, water was hot

Neighborhood was nice and quiet Will come back next time!

My family and I stayed this past weekend We had a 2-bedroom suite that far exceeded our expectations We arrived after midnight but were greeted warmly and checked into our room promptly

The room was very spacious and larger than anticipated There is free parking and a free hot breakfast with different items daily The front desk also supplied us with complimentary toothpaste and razor as we neglected to bring our own This will be our first choice on future stays

The hotel was OK but front desk told me I need a $100 down payment that I would get back if the room wasn’t vandalized or had anything stolen I made sure my room was clean and organized, I was also told that what I got from the snack bar wouldn’t be an extra charge on my card but taken out of the $100 down payment I stayed in October never got the down payment back and the snack bar charge was on my card

My family has always stayed at Staybridge They are by far the best hotel Rooms are always clean

Housekeeping is always attentive Front desk is very responsive And this particular location was great I love that the rooms have a mini kitchen complete with a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher and even pots and pans and eating utensilsWe did have a minor issue with our toilet not flushing but front desk sent maintenance immediately and it was resolved My only complaint was the breakfast Definitely could have been better But overall we enjoyed our stay

I NEVER leave reviews, but this was the worst experience in a hotel we’ve ever had The first clue should have been the stagnant, hot air in the hall, leading to our room Once in, we attempted to adjust the temperature to cool things down, but it never kicked on

We spoke with the front desk and both rooms that were offered to us were then “taken”, from the time my husband came up to the room to discuss which option we wanted to go with We ended up waking up our kids and leaving at midnight to stay somewhere else If we can help another family out, I’d say this: Word of advice, chose another hotel

I’m late with this review, but I stayed from April 14th-15th, but was charged for the 16th as well because it was after checkout The area and the outside of this hotel does not match the interior The rooms were outdated and Room 318 had mold located in the AC register and the tub (see pictures below)

The AC seemed to be intermittent as well, even after adjusting the thermostat I told the front desk and the staff was willing to move me to the 1st floor, but after checking the room out (still outdated with a torn couch) I decided to leave and canceled my remaining time there The area is nice, but I would not recommend staying here

We spent 6 1/2 weeks at this property and we cannot say enough good things about it 1 The cleanest hotel room(s) I’ve ever stayed in

Every corner was spotless 2 Friendliest staff across the board, from the manager Mr Shepherd, to Carla, Santos, Bernard, and Brenda 3 Welcoming – always greeted with a smile and “may I help you?” 4 Complimentary breakfast: Brenda goes out of her way to make sure it is delicious and nutritious Walnuts, almonds, cherries, raisins, etc to top your Old Fashioned made from scratch oatmeal 5 Accommodating – our renovation start date moved several times and Mr Shepherd assured me that I did not need to worry, he would take care of us – and he did It all starts with him He has done a fantastic job with this property and it shows

Every single employee made our family feel welcome (including our dog!) They were unfailingly cheerful and helpful Most mornings, the breakfast offerings included home made oat meal, with a wide variety of optional extras What an unexpected treat! Our rooms were clean (and quiet), the beds were comfy, and the location was convenient

In all ways, it was a wonderful experience!

We were put up here by American after our flight was canceled Ellie, at the front desk, saw our voucher and understood the kind of day we’d had She provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste

You can tell this is an older hotel that’s been remodeled But, our room was cute and clean It had a tiny patio It was very quiet The button to the 3rd floor was a bit worn out, but the elevator worked We slept well on the bed The shower had great water pressure and the soaps provided worked just fine No complaints with this hotel

Valerie

I started for a week for a business tripStarted with taking over 2 hours to get picked up from the airport, absolutely rude driver (weekend night driver) and getting dropped off at the wrong hotelHad to change rooms because there was an army of bugs in the bathroom, my second room the door locks were broken

Pretty pricey for some food items, $9 for a small fruit cupGood things about the hotel, the drivers throughout the week were amazing, hotel staff friendly, decent facilities (pool & gym)

David Carter

Terri at the front desk rude and unhelpful An airport hotel that has an airport shuttle with no time limits mentioned on it shouldn’t be turning down picking up a stranded passenger from the airport! Book tons of hotels at various brands for my employees and very frustrating when you deal with this kind of thing scrambling to find a room at 11 PM at night
