The rooms are beautiful I stayed here 4 years ago and was so impressed with the staff and atmosphere that it was the only places I wanted to stay when I came back for vacation The food in the restaurant is wonderful and reasonably priced

The staff is very friendly and helpful The rooms are clean with microwaves and fridges The staff takes pride not only in taking care of us but they also take care of the stray cats that they have They have 2 cats that are more or less the mascots of the hotel The fact that they care not only for the people but for the animals as well keeps me coming back every time I visit Way to go Holiday Inn!!

Everyone was so nice and professional! Stayed here two weeks ago Got there about 10 at night on a Saturday the gentleman working the desk was very polite change our rooms because the first room smelled like smoke Sunday morning the kids ate breakfast and loved the pool we where greeted by the owner she was a very nice lady I can’t remember what her name was

So we Booked three rooms for tonight for my son’s 1st birthday and when we got there the lady at the front desk was very rude And told us there was a 250 dollar deposit plus the 125 per room On the booking it did not say anything about a 250 dollar deposit And we didn’t pay a deposit of 250 dollars when we stayed there 2 weeks ago Amd on top it we where still charged the 125 for the room amd we didn’t even get to stay and now we have to wait tell Monday for the 125 to be back on our card So my son’s first birthday got ruined because we didn’t have enough money to cover a different hotel we came back to this hotel specifically because of the kiddie pool

Customer service was poor Arrived 30mins early to see if room was available and if not so they can be sure room would be available at 3pm check-in At 3pm room was still not available, told to wait another 30 minutes

In line at 3:30pm while the counter person knew I was in line and what room was mine, gave it to the person in front of me and told me my room was not there and they would have to downgrade meThe person in front of me didn’t prepay for their room and I got bumped for them (guessing so the hotel can get a higher rate) No compensation offered to me despite waiting for an hour and having them give my room to someone else right in front of me I prepaid online direct with their website a few months ahead of time

The breakfast at this HIE was the best I’ve had in a long time They had namebrand condiments such as Smuckers Good job

Every morning was amazing Everything was always available and refilled quickly Nice & clean area to serve and eatWe were so disappointed that the pool was closed I missed the note on the website apparently We stayed 3 nights and that is a lot of money for no pool 😔The staff was polite and helpfulWe had a room on the first floor It was quiet & clean You had to ask housekeeping to stop in We didn’t mind that, we actually prefer it that way I just asked the housekeeper for new towels personally or left a note with the front desk It worksThe room had a tiny tiny bit of a musty smell but it wasn’t bad The bathroom was clean and nice One bed was a little uncomfortable on one side A little worn out Overall the room was great We will definitely be staying there for our next Jackson visitif the pool is open!!

Ryan&Kate Wright (Endogaming)

Very poor customer service We had to cancel the room because there pool was down and we were never informed of that When we got there we mentioned how excited the kids were to go in the pool and the employee said oh that should be a good time

We got to the pool and it was dark green no heaters working So we decided to see if we could cancel they allowed us to without a cancellation fee but now 2 weeks later I’m still waiting on my refund and 3 hours later waiting on a simple email stating they are not keeping my deposit for my bank I’ve stayed all over the state and never had this much trouble in my life what a nightmare just a warning to anyone thinking of staying!

I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone I booked 3 nights through bookingcom and when I arrived the hotel was dirty and the room had a horrible smell

There was no way I could stay there so 30 minutes after I checked in I checked out and went to the Marriott up the road When I asked if I would be refunded for at least 2 of the nights since I wouldn’t be staying the front desk said yes but she doesn’t close the books till 2:00am and will process it then I contacted them multiple times and finally heard back telling me I had to contact bookingcom so they could verify and process the refund I have been in contact with bookingcom and they are waiting to hear back from the hotel to confirm before processing a refund, they have emailed and called them Not only was having to book another hotel inconvenient so is trying to get my refund which is owed to me

Toni Catalano-McClung

Stayed at the hotel 8/3-8/7/22 There was a storm on the 3rd, and the hotel lost power Hotel was running on partial power my entire stay

The amenities the hotel advertises were not available Although most staff was kind, front desk associate Shell was incredibly rude She would talk about guests with other employees in front of other guests I never inquired about anything until Friday because I understand the staff doesn’t control the weather On Friday, I politely inquired if there was updates on power, and she told me she would check her crystal ball A hotel without amenities (no a/c, elevator, lights, WiFi, etc ) is quite unpleasant Upon checkout, Shell was at the front desk again When I asked her what the hotel was doing to accommodate the guests inconvenience during their stay, she told me to call corporate because I booked through Expedia After multiple calls, I am not pleased with the resolution Baamas, the customer service supervisor, provided poor customer service much like Shell Clearly, poor service is acceptable with Hilton I was refunded one night’s stay I feel that is unacceptable I feel at minimum, at least 1/2 the stay should be refunded The customer service “supervisor “ hung up on me At this point, I will tell everyone I know to book with caution at Hilton owned properties, and leave honest reviews on all platforms I find it hard to believe that everyone who stayed there during the power outage is satisfied with a one night refund

Had my open house here Although it was a decent experience, I advise anyone to be careful if you are someone that is not an ideal guest I experienced accusations from the owner and the staff, on the hottest day of the summer, turned off the ac so my guests would move out of the lobby (that was specifically reserved for my guests to sit

) As for staying, the rooms are nice just hope for the best

David Gunawan

The rooms carpet was not that good Everything else was good I stay here for about 3 nights

However they lack of breakfast benefit or just give a member a free snack so they will always happy to come back againThey really friendly especially for the marrior member Most of hotel staff was not that friendly now, eventhough you have a high level memberI recomend to have request in advance and remind the staff when check in Sometimes they just forget what did you request before

Clean and convenient place to stay near Jackson, MI I’m here or at the Marriott Townsuites next door everytime I come to Jackson It’s clean, quiet and the rooms are good

No complaintswell maybe a minor one The store lobby wasn’t well stocked around 8PM There were many missing items but in the AM when we were checking out I noticed the shelves had been stocked overnight apparently so my timing was just off when I had a case of the munchies But otherwise a great stay

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in My room wasn’t ready upon arrival No shampoo or conditioner

Pillows flat or lumpy Shower curtain had black mildew dots on it Blow dryer not working had to have girl let me use one in other room When I was leaving I noticed the cleans sheets were nicely folded sitting on the floor next to rooms that would be cleanedhow disgusting When I called the supervisor wouldn’t let me speak to the general manager She insisted that she was in charge Breakfast not impressive at all My advicestay somewhere else

Elaine Larson

1st they charge a $30 fee to check in before 3pm Then had the nerve to “check me into a super dirty room” I had a meeting & needed to shower after a 2 day road trip in car

Was Promised by my return it would be cleaned & stocked as normal When I got back they did make the bed & give me towels that was it I have plenty of room at check in & also my return The night staff were great even had a housekeeper named Selena come clean the room properly In the Am when talking with staff at 1st was told well you shouldn’t have stayed here Like excuse me I couldn’t get my money back from Bookingcom I tried And I dam sure needed a shower & sleep Eventually she gave me $10 back & apologized saying she was going to write the staff up that checked me in I know $50 I wasn’t going to get a 5 star stay but I did expect clean room, not poop on toilet & just dirty Put all that along with the day peoples attitude I’d give them a huge 0 but 1 is all I can do

Shake Britt

I would rate this place ZERO stars!! My family and I had a HORRIBLE stay! Our room looked like an old crime scene There was brown spots all on the wall and curtains The towels were yellow stained

It took 45 mins just for us to have hot water They sat the bedding for each room in the hallway on the dirty floor The front desk clerk was VERY NASTY toward my mother-in-law and even threaten to call the police when we asked for a refund not to mention🗣 BED BUGS!!!! Please DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Some of the best service I have ever received Both front desk clerks were extremely courteous and helpful I booked a second night later and they were able to keep me in the same room

Housekeeping made sure to turn the lights on in the pool area when we were using it Just before I departed, I was looking for some fruit for the long ride home to New Jersey (after breakfast hours) The housekeeping person not only helped me get what I wanted but also got me an extra yogurt I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years and I can’t remember when I received such excellent service

Katie Dodge

The staff was friendly, but very distracted and it was hard to get anyone to come to the desk for assistance Breakfast was great, no complaints thereOur room smelled like cigarette smoke

I had to buy an air freshener at Walgreens, but our clothes smelled so strongly of it that I talked to the front desk They would not move our room because they “can’t guarantee the next room won’t smell bad either”Definitely should spend a few more dollars and stay at one of the better hotels in Jackson if you are able to

Cynthia Burley

My experience with this hotel has gone way down in the recent past I have traveled moderately compared to others with work and personally and feel that I have some experience I absolutely LOVE this hotel and the staff

They have in the past gone above and beyond in customer service But things have changed and I really don’t know why There is no explanation If I book through a second party I have no recourse, no reciept I don’t get my room cleaned I accidentally double booked a room once and the hotel offered a refund but failed to do so My Credit Union offered to do so but when the hotel offered I accepted and waited so I didn’t call my CU backIt is my fault for double booking but if the Manager is going to refund that should be done

What a nice newer hotel The downtown location was nice It allows you to walk to various shots

The rooms were up to date and had newer plug ins The one room king had a unique setup that I really enjoyed The 4 stars are for the price, no breakfast You can buy from the bistro, and the food was fine for the price You get used to other hotels including the breakfast Also, with new construction, the walls are thinner than other hotels Not terrible, but doesn’t give it a five star feel Overall, I enjoyed my experience

What a beautiful hotel! The location is fantastic, the grounds are well maintained as is the hotel itself All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, our room and bathroom were very clean which is so important to us There was a nice pool and exercise room

Plus, the complimentary hot breakfast that changed every day was great! We would definitely stay here again 🙂

Seth Held

I had a really nice experience here with the staff!!!They were very kind and accommodating! My room was very clean and nice but I opted for the larger room with a sofa bed It was very sparsely furnished For being so large they need an armoire or chest of drawers

Maybe some additional wall coverings? Was also rather shocked that they didn’t accept Apple Pay Is that all Hilton facilities? Seems way behind the times Breakfast was really good Didn’t use the pool or other facilities Great snack store behind the counter too! Really need the most popular digital pay format though

Chris Stovall

We came for a little over a week for a conference and they were excellent Friendly faces on the staff Clean modern rooms

Comfortable bedsThe continental breakfast was a little repetitive, but that’s to be expected: most people aren’t staying a whole week and wouldn’t notice the same choices repeating over every couple of daysI gave 4 stars on location because there’s almost nothing close

This is an extremely nice hotel, and the staff is top-notch! Myself and 2 colleagues ended up here as a last-minute schedule change We were tired and hungry Chris was amazing at check in, even going above and beyond to call the restaurant and have them hold a table for us as they were just about done seating guests for the night

We dropped our bags in our rooms, and headed over for a PHENOMENAL dinner Everything was fantastic, made in house, and our server, Dallas, was also exceptional! This could not have made for a better ending to a long and stressful dayThe rooms were very nice, beds comfortable, and showers SOOO relaxing! The musical mirrors are a nice feature, too! As someone who spends about 150 nights a year in (mostly 4-star) hotels, this is among my best experiences! Thank you Weber’s!

Tracy Schmidt

Very accommodating to special requests! Nice rooms Beds are squishy soft like giant marshmallows If you like that kind of thing it’s perfect

If you like a firm bed do not stay here Giving five stars even though I dislike soft beds, because everything else was great and they were quite nice, and the softness of the bed is probably what most people prefer anyway

Kaycee Brunell

This hotel will always be my favorite, I have been visiting since I was very young with my grandparents (when they had a slide into the pool) My husband took me back last year for my birthday and it was so much fun We loved exploring the hotel, looking at all the famous people that have stayed, the restaurant reminds me of the titanic, the retro game room, and so much more

The pool at night on the adult time is just amazing a relaxing We will be going back soon!

In all honesty it was the worse time I have ever had We did a weekend get away with my grandkids and it turned into having to stay in the room and not enjoy anything the hotel offered Lack of staff added to the frustration

A group of unsupervised children in the pool area made the pool unsafe for little children or families to enjoy They threw towels in the pool and left the area a mess So again we try to go in the morning and again the large group came down unsupervised again Rough housing near the little kids that are not great swimmers The attended at night was forced to shut the pool down due to all the complaints from other families with small children If there had been supervision maybe it would’ve been better Other than that the kids enjoyed the great breakfast the hotel offered I recommend adding more staff at night for reasons like this though One staff told me they had the same thing happen the weekend before so there is an issue in the activity areas

My brother and I were visiting town for his shooting competition and decided to stay here My brother is a retired army vet in a wheelchair and needed a wheelchair accessible room The room was large and easy for him to move around in, clean, smelled fresh & the bed was super comfortable

All of the staff and the manager Roxanne were the friendliest and coolest people I have ever met and you can really tell they care They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of & felt at home during our stay The hotel lobby was clean and they had fresh baked cookies for the guests too If I lived closer I would be inviting them to the family barbecues because I actually missed them when I left! Felt like we made new friends Thank you for working so hard for your guests, yall make an impact in strangers lives more than you know!

Agree with the other comments that this place needs some upgrade The washroom has a strong musty smell even with the fan running all the time The shower only has hot water so u can’t be in there for long

We checked in really late and left next morning so didn’t bother to complain Hope it’s just that room that has these issues Breakfast was not bad though

Matthew Cheung

Slept in a cot which was quite comfortableRoom was spacious enough for 4 of us to share comfortablyLots of outlets to plug electronics in

Attentive staffLiege waffles for breakfast was awesomeWas there for FSAE competition They had fresh baked cookies in the lobby most evenings for all the teams to enjoy
