We reserved two rooms, and both were disgusting Water stains on ceiling, walls dirty and stained, bathroom tile and shower were filthy In fact, we didn’t even take showers before we left because the bathroom looked so gross

Beds were old spring mattresses that needed replacing years ago Hodgepodge of carpet near front desk due to water damage I’m assuming Ice machine area smelled so strongly of mold and mildew that we got a bag of ice from a convenience store I’m not sure how this hotel can even pass a health inspection Very disappointed, as we usually have good stays with Wyndham I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and would in fact discourage people from staying here

They gave me better rates than Priceline Free Continental breakfast is small and mostly cold but adequate to get a good start to the day The only hot items are waffles you make yourself, coffee, and oatmeal, if you add water to instant packets and microwave it

I say the continent is Antarctica, because it’s a small and cold selection LOLThe night manager was very helpful and I had no problems with any staff during days or nights They offered the best prices in Jasper for a room And when you turn the lights out, all hotel rooms look the same anyway They give a reasonable value, have a pool worth using, and easy access to lots of shopping options

We stayed here for our Holiday World trip Check in was quick and easy Our room was clean, but not thoroughly

We found a cup of water on the ground by one of the beds There was also a Nintendo charger left by the lamp from previous guests I found a few ants roaming the desk (one tried to hide in my laptop) Our room was a ground level room, but we did not have blackout curtains (there were curtains but they didn’t shut It seemed more for decoration) Because of this, anyone in the parking lot could look into our room The shower curtains would not close all the way, so the water would not stay in the shower The toliet also took forever to flush Putting aside the negatives, the breakfast was great The staff were really friendly as well Our keys somehow got deactivated and they were able to replace them They seemed to be short staffed, so that’s why the hotel is not getting the proper attention it needs

This is a well operated property! The GM Corinne is pleasant and the staff very competent The pool water was almost comfortable, just a bit cool Breakfast and good coffee was as expected for a Comfort Inn

The GM was aware of the need for more directional signage to find the entry to the property It was not easy to get to the Comfort Inn

Morgan Hatten

First off, the gentleman who checked us in was so nice It took maybe 5 minutes if that to check in He tolds us all the information about the hotel

Secondly, our room was so clean I always check the sheets and mattress everytime, there was no stains or anything at all wrong Bathrooms were super nice, roomy and clean The whole experience was wonderful I will be staying there next time!(Also its only 10 minutes away from Holiday World)

My father had a major medical emergency while traveling with my mother, their RV and their beloved German Shepherd We called other hotels and they recommended this hotel When we called and explained our situation and they immediately kicked into high gear and scrambled to help us, we were able to get a pet friendly room and they worked with me to set up everything until I could get there

Once I arrived they changed our room to accommodate us as well We didn’t know when we’d be able to leave and they were flexible in that area as well, they even had a wheelchair available when my father was released from the hospital The staff was brilliant and went above and beyond to help us during this very stressful time The room was clean and served our needs, the free breakfast was good as well (excellent coffee) The only con was we could’ve used a slip mat in the shower/bath but that was easily resolved We stop in Jasper often on our trips up north and we wouldn’t hesitate to stop and stay at this location again Once again, thank you all for your help and if you’re thinking of using this hotel for a night or for an extended stay, stop thinking and book a room

Typical stop for us each year Better than it has been since the ‘vid Gym floor was visibly dirty, but at least had hand weights

Breakfast was fine, but missing things like cream cheese and only 2 yogurts left at 630am on a Sunday morning Night attendant and breakfast attendant were friendly Room was acceptable, but I would definitely recommend bringing some type of fan to drown out the noise of other hotel guests Even with our box fan set on high we could still here the guests in the room above us walking around

When we opened our window it had mold growing on it We both have severe allergies Upon checkout I left the both blinds completely drawn up so that they’d see this

Other than that it’s a great place to stay We’ve stayed at this location numerous times and this is the first and only time there has been an issue Great continental breakfast, everything is great and hot They have a pool, game room and fitness area Could use some more lighting in the parking and ashtrays fir cigarettes I don’t smoke and there were cigarettes on the ground were there are tables

PITCH A TENT BEFORE STAYING HERE! I know that sounds ridiculous, but so was my stay The rooms were absolutely disgusting The entryway floor was filthy and sticky, the bathtub has pink and black mold, there were some kind of stains on the beds (maybe from food?), the carpet was crunchy and there were BUGS all over the ceiling that would fall onto the beds

The lady at the front desk couldn’t have cared less and just said “wow” sarcastically This place needs to be shut down, bug bombed and DEEP cleaned Yuck

Delana Thompson

The staff was friendly The breakfast was good but I literally had to clean our room Hair was everywhere, food on the floor, stains, hand prints on the headboard

Whoever stays in 323 soon you’re welcome lol I wiped down everything with clorox and thanks to the leaking tub the bathroom floor was cleaned a bit I think they are under staffed but if you want a clean room go somewhere else

My family and I stayed here while we visited Holiday World because it was the closest best Western branded hotel and we love this brand This hotel fell a little short of our expectations They had really small cups at breakfast

And the whole hotel felt a little run down Check in was very quick which we enjoyed because we were exhausted Also when we asked for extras of anything they were happily given too us Ants in the breakfast area which is to be expected around sticky syrup but would appreciate better cleaning Would stay again but would appreciate if some updates were made

Kelsey Y

This is a pretty nice hotel, everything was very clean and the people running it were very friendly The hot tub could probably use a cleaning though, there was some black moldy looking stuff around the edge of it The included breakfast was average, could use a meat option and some larger cups but the waffles were nice and everything was super clean

Thanks for a good stay!

Marjorie Osborn

I understand why this place is costly though for $200 per night it was not worth the price The tub was chipped and not something I would soak in The air conditioning in our room was set at 60 when we came in the room

We bumped it to 73, when we tried to bring it down to 71 while sleeping it wouldn’t change It was stuckThe pool is so small It can fit maybe 10 peopleThe breakfast area had cob webs above the waffle ironsThe staff is kind and respectful which is appreciated Because they were so kind it made the stay feel welcoming

Don’t let the outside of the hotel fool you The inside is soooo much better- seems updated When you walk in, it smells pretty decent- there’s no musty smell, no smoke smell, etc

There is a complimentary breakfast I think it consists of mainly breads and cereals My husband and I visited for a few days from out of town for my birthday We booked a 2 queen size bed room Its a good size room for the two of us We stayed in room 104 There was a fridge and microwave in the room No coffee maker There was a good size table with 2 chairs The bathroom was a little cramped but the rest of the room made up for it My only 2 cons of the room would be:1 There is no lighting by the table/TV area2 There is no comfortable chair if you don’t want to sit on the bed or on one of the table chairsThe hotel is close to EVERYTHING, which is a big plus

I was very pleased with the quality of the Hampton Our room /bathroom was extremely clean, which is Super important these days! Towels were fluffy and clean

The pool area was very nice and tidy, lots of fresh towels The hallways were vacuumed, everything had a sanitized look to it Breakfast bar was very hot and well stocked and clean! Overall, an excellent 2 day stay and we will be back!

I was immediately impressed with how friendly the staff was when checking in My room was nice and cool (hard to find a hotel with an A/C that works well), and it was super clean Housekeeping doesn’t appear to cut corners, which is important and refreshing to feel safe and taken care of when staying somewhere these days

Breakfast was great every day I stayed, hot and fresh with lots of variety The breakfast staff was also especially friendly I stay at a lot of hotels for work as an Area Manager for a restaurant chain when I’m helping different locations, and this has been one of—if not the—best experiences I’ve had with a hotel Even the night staff was very friendly and accommodating I wish I had names The night front desk older lady with gray hair and glasses was very friendly So was the gentleman night front desk with glasses, long dark hair The breakfast attendant lady was super pleasant and keeps everything very clean and stocked, also checking on all of your customers, and the little young lady worked hard to help and keep tables clean as people came and went I just want to thank you all for taking care of me during my stay Though I love to sleep in my own bed, if I have to stay in Jasper again for business, I most certainly will stay at the Hampton

Erik

This particular Hampton Inn is probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in

I’m not kidding! The rooms were recently remodeled and are kept extremely clean! The hotel staff was so helpful and friendly The grounds around the hotel were kept in top condition as wellKeep up the good work! We will definitely be back on a future trip to Holiday World!

If you just need a place to lay your head, then this is the place for you We stayed here because our family of 4 took a trip to Holiday World and this was the closest I could find that had breakfast, hot tub, and pool They do have an indoor pool, but it was ICE cold

And even though it was advertised, their hot tub doesn’t have water in it They do have hot food for breakfast but none of it looked fresh so we just had waffles The rooms were really clean, and the bed is comfortable There’s hardly any channels available on the TV It says no pets on the door but the people next to us had a dog that barked for an hour straight, no joke Lastly, this is the only hotel that I can think of that I’ve ever stayed at that doesn’t have automatic doors They have just normal doors that you pull going in, push going out Makes it difficult for families carrying in their luggage For the price I paid I wasn’t completely satisfied

Marilynn Gerry

Service was poor or nonexistent For example: we asked for maid service on the 3rd day of our stay as we needed fresh towels and both bath and facial tissues We told the front desk staff that we would be out all day so that the room would be clear

When we returned no one had touched the room or provided the items needed Their excuse, that they hadn’t entered because there was no answer when they knocked They did eventually deliver the needed items The next day when we returned we had received maid serviceThe carpet and upholstered chair were filthy and disgusting The carpet wasn’t particularly worn, but looked like stains had just been left without any attempt of clean them The chair was stained, faded and needed to be replaced Useless! The complimentary breakfast was from 6-8 but by 7 there were no sausages or waffle batter A request for batter got me a cup and when a dozen or so more guests came soon after both the batter and sausages were replenished That did nothing to address the ants crawling on the counter and on the eggs of at least one guest Tried the breakfast twice and the ants were there both days Spoke with other guests who had stayed several times and all agreed that things had declined severelyThe cable was out for at least 2 days I say “at least” because the desk personnel continued to act like it was the first they’d heard of it There was never access to local or network channels or newLastly, the pool was closed for the entire time we were there While I didn’t want to use it, many of the guests were families who were certainly disappointed

Sheena Lyons

Bugs everywhere even dropping from the ceiling We checked 3 rooms and none were great 2nd room looked like someone had been sleeping on the dirty, they were filthy! The entire hotel was dirty and no seem to concerned

Daisy at the front desk was horrendously rude to me and the person she had been speaking to on the phone When she hung up she began complaining about the caller and caller in front of me When a friend checked in it was 6500 and at check out it was 7900 Their only comment, oh we made a mistake Their mistake and they would not honor the price Very poor owner and management
