Jim Bennett

The stay was good and staff was friendly They will charge you $50 for incidentals that they claim will be returned soon after your stay Well its been 2 weeks and 2 phone calls to the hotel and they continue to tell me that it should be any day

Still nothing, not even a call back as promised Beware after you check out that they will attempt to hold your incidental fee apparently in hopes that you are too busy traveling and will forget

The room was clean and the beds were nice Now the bad the bathroom was so small I could get my narrow wheelchair even into the bathroom

If someone is over weight good luck shutting the door They put a $50 hold on my bank card that still hasn’t come off my card when the lady said it would be off the next day You pay $200+ dollars and I couldn’t even use the bathroom We had just driven 600 miles and just wanted to go to sleep Save your money and go to the evergreen in Libby Way nicer rooms with huge bathrooms and your helping a local business Oh and you pay half the cost So unless you want the pool at the BW save your money The front desk lady was rude like we were bothering her just to check in PS as someone else mentioned the air filters are gross My husband checks them at every hotel we stay at because of bad allergies and these were so of the worst we have seen And your not finding my stay there became 1 I don’t use my real name on google and to I book everything using a different email for safety and security I will be calling to because we stayed Sunday night and it’s Thursday and I still have a $50 hold on my card Really people We are driving across country and gas ain’t cheap and I still can’t use that $50 dollars It’s a good thing all the hotels don’t hold on to my money like this or I would be stranded

Most of the staff was more than amazing and friendly There was one in particular that always went above and beyond, Nicole And you could clearly tell she works her butt off

She helps even at night if you see her in the halls and she’s clearly off the clock She’s amazing at does and awesome job and cleaning the rooms Even if it’s not her “job” she fast and efficient when asked for helpThe rooms are nice and the beds are extremely comfortable The breakfast is superb biscuits and gravy 🤤 The sausage patties look kind of funky but other than that no complaints

Richard F

It’s by no means a 5 star hotel, but for a 3 1/2+ star hotel I’d give it a 5/5 The rooms were very clean and the beds were shockingly very comfortable The tv is an oversized flat screen and the hotel was reasonably priced

We took advantage of the breakfast each morning and it did the job for a quick bite I’d say we would probably book there again next time we visit!

Pete The Volcano

I spend a lot of time traveling and my basic theory on what makes a place good regardless of price is primarily an attitude of genuine caring and attention to detailThis place was stacked with both The room was very clean and the people there were top notch when it came to genuine care and friendliness

Just wanted to call out these folks in particular: Tristan, Farley, Tish and Tegan To the owner of this hotel, you are lucky to have these people working for you They are an asset to your business and I thank them for a pleasant stayOh and as an aside, the breakfast was pretty good too✌️

The place was clean, remodeled, and had great customer serviceThe breakfast choices were interesting as it has been modified to deal with supply chain and labor shortages Why do I say that? Because I’ve never seen single packaged quiche and waffles served up as a breakfast option

The biscuit and sausage gravy was good It would be smart for them to actually label the container it was served in Reason I’m saying this is because I intended to have oatmeal and went to the oatmeal container to serve myself Thankfully the staff member came by to inform me it was sausage gravy At the same time she said that, another patron walked by and said, ‘goodness, I am glad to know that it was sausage gravy because when I took a bite of it, I thought it was the worst oatmeal I’d ever had’So, the advice, label the darn sausage gravy It is good and deserves a labelBeds and pillows were very comfortableThe kitchen amenities were perfect for my 3 day trip!

Such a welcoming, clean, and conveniently located hotel (Within waking distance of Starbucks, grocery store, and sporting goods store) Diverse breakfast to meet dietary needs

Rhona in particular was the most helpful front desk employee that I’ve ever experienced So helpful, informative, and polite Plus, the huckleberry taffy was a nice treat When we come back to Glacier, we will again stay at this hotel

Staying here for 2 nights Very nice hotel, they are in a beautiful area and the rooms are comfy, clean, and up to date They have great amenities and I’m thoroughly enjoying it here

Edit: continental breakfast was lacking and very short staffed, made things a bit less of an experience, but overall still nice place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay here! Every time I called the staff was helpful and friendly We came for a Spartan race, and when we arrived they had a hose out front to wash off our mud and a bag in our room to separate our race clothes from our other luggage These little things were very thoughtful! The rooms were perfect for us and very clean

It was too cold outside to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but the location, staff, service, and rooms were great 10/10 would – and will – stay again!

Randy Radford

Great simple stay Good spot in town at a reasonable rate without all the big hotel hoopla The best part … My stay was 2 months ago and I finally realized that something I had been looking for might be there

Lone behold, they had kept it safe this whole time and I didn’t even realize they had sent an email to notify that I had the day I checked out Thanks Timber, solid establishment

Wouldn’t recommend Although the room was alright the shower drain cover slid off to reveal a black hole in the tub This made me feel uncomfortable while showering

Customer service was very disappointing We accidentally made 2 reservations because the first reservation didn’t show up in my email and we were unable to call to confirm because we were around glacier national park with no cell service or wifi So when we arrived she charged us for 2 rooms not even a cancellation fee but the full fee When I tried to explain what happened I did not get an understanding or empathetic response I got the impression she thought I was lying when she said “that sucks You should have called earlier I would have figured something out” However I did try to call early that day (11 am) and was told she can’t do anything for me because she wasn’t in the office Although I always prefer to support small businesses but I would not treat a customer like that and I will probably not be going back there I found her customer service lacking Also when I asked about the pool, her tone sounded sarcastic and said “we don’t have a pool anymore, you should know that if you’ve been on the website” I’d recommend staying somewhere more welcoming

Glady Weiland

Hands down the cleanest and most unique boutique hotel we have ever stayed at!The owner has added tables and benches and even a fire table to enjoy a drink outside!Friendly staff…All around good!!The walk to downtown is about a mile and makes for a beautiful stroll!!

Rocklyn Potuer

We got to the motel at 4 to check in, to find the office locked & a note on the door with a phone number if help was needed We phoned, left a msg, waited 15-20 min, no reply

We finally knocked on one of the motel doors that was partially opened, found the “manager” he was “filling in” for the week He found a room for us, the room was nice enough, had everything we needed except a TV remote & the door lock & the door itself were EXTREMELY hard to open, wouldn’t want to have to get out in a hurry!!! I tried to track down “the manager”, again, couldn’t be found Supposed to have continental breakfast, it wasn’t mentioned by “the manager” decided we’d buy breakfast elsewhereIt may be a nice place to stay if the actual owner/manager were in charge but we wouldn’t take the chance again unfortunately Very disappointing

We stayed here June 2-5 It is hard to do these ratings as do you plug in price as a factor If you do, it would give it a 3 as it didn’t live up to it’s prices

If compared to many hotels that I have stayed in for say in the hundred to hundred twenty dollar area, it would be a five But prices are ranging here from $ 190 to $650! Ouch Not worth it No real major complaints Just not worth the money And it is a 40 or so mile drive to the park Not in or near the park The town of Whitefish was enjoyable Perhaps a factor that needs to be plugged in is the the season is pretty short and intense That can account for some of it But the bottom line is if you are going to visit Glacier NP, bring plenty of moneyPs no maid service was the norm unless requested I gave it a 4 because of the unique situation with the season, but many hotels have seasonal issues

Cora Kramer

Price point doesn’t match experience No continental breakfast AT ALL for the price is just ridiculous! Not even free coffee or a cereal bar The restaurant isn’t open at all for breakfast either

The food in the restaurant has gone down hill, the meat on the Ruben sandwich was so dry The good side – the staff was always super friendly and the rooms were clean

It feels so great to finally be back at Kalispell We waited two long years due to the pandemic Staying at Holiday Inn Express made the experience exceptionally wonderful for our family

The staff at the front desk (Rebekah, Clyde and Katrina) were super accommodating and friendly Our room is spacious, well-maintained and spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job The ladies that ran breakfast were amazing They went over and beyond and took care of the guests like family Food was exceptional Our kids enjoyed the pool and clean towels are always available To top everything, the hotel’s location is perfect! Everything you need is 2-3 minutes away Would highly recommend!

‘‘Twas a good stay Nice and clean room, comfortable bed Didn’t expect much from the complimentary breakfast but I was pleasantly surprised, good selection of breakfast items (cereals, eggs, biscuits, flapjacks etc

)One thing I’d point out is the fitness gym is small and the selection of weights is low, but it’s not a deal breaker

This place was great for a last minute affordable stay I will say it was a bit daunting driving through a mobile home park to get to the hotel Once inside you’re greeted with very friendly and helpful staff and a cute deep woods themed stay

If taxidermy is not your thing, then I would suggest staying elsewhere, as there are many stuffed elk, bison, bear, etc I was pleasantly surprised by the already AC blasted room and comfy beds Our room had a spacious shower, large TV, and kitchenette It was a great pit stop for us as we were traveling through the state There is a free breakfast offered in the morning, however I would not suggest it The hotel has some nice common areas to hang out, grab a soda, and play cards One person in our party had a bathroom issue and needed a plunger The staff said they did not have one on location, which was a little odd for a hotel I suggest they invest in at least one Overall I would recommend as an easy budget friendly place to crash

Lenna Southland

The room is like a studio apartment with a kitchenette, dining table, tv/sitting area with recliners, and sliding glass doors to a tiny potato area The bed is a little firm for my preference, but not HARD like so many hotel beds The lodge and atrium are gorgeous

Hot breakfast bar and evening salad bar included I was glad I’d looked at reviews and saw the notes about passing through the mobile park or I would have thought we were lost We’d definitely choose this place again!

Coastie Stacie

It is a really great place The location is wonky, and I really thought I was lost when my GPS told me I was there, but it is truly a hidden gem The continental breakfast is more like actual breakfast

Sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles you can make yourself, eggs (scrambled or hard boiled) The rooms are like mini apartments, as you get a microwave, fridge and kitchen sink along with cabinets The beds are OK, but feel a bit smaller than a Standard size queen, at least in the two bed rooms The decor is fabulous, the solarium is so relaxing, and the whole vibe is relaxing The price is perfect, and the staff is very nice The parking is weird, and lines are needed, however, I definitely would stay again

I needed a place to crash for the night but as a woman traveling alone, I was so sketched out by the other motels when I drove by them I was feeling a bit nervous about not being able to find a safe place to stay I’m glad I found Hilltop! I got such a great vibe as soon as I walked into the office

The guy that helped me (I assume was the owner) was great and made me feel so much better When he gave me my room key, he disinfected with a wet wipe Isn’t that awesome? The room was so cute and the shower was great Highly recommended!

Sunni Surawski

I would love to give this place 5 stars but

It’s a very nice motel Clean, neat, easy check in and out process The problem is the fabreeze the heck out of the bed I laid on the bed for about 10 minutes after check in and my hair stinks of perfume, my throat hurts and I have a headacheIf you have any issues with perfumes or deodorizers this place is NOT for youI’m hoping if I bring in my own pillow I’ll be able to get through the nightUPDATE: after we got back from dinner last night the owner decided to give us a call Not to ask what she could do to make our stay better She wanted to defend the reason they use deodorizers in their rooms After about 5 minutes of her going on she asked if we’d like to check out! Not once but twice she suggested we go elsewhere It was 9 pm I’ve never felt less hospitality I’m not sure how she thought calling us like that would make this review any better

My neighbor told me about the Hill Top Inn I was going to be in Flat Head area for work I had checked numerous hotels in the area and all were very over priced

I selected one which I found the least inexpensive and it was $30000Outrageous!!!!!!! I get that this is a resort area When my neighbor told me about the Hill Top I called for availability and rates I had to leave a message but a very nice kind lady promptly returned my callShe had affordable availability so made my reservation and cancelled the $30000 oneWhen I arrived first impression was a very neat tidy placeI checked in and my room was so comfortable, cozy, and decorated homey The air conditioner was on which you don’t usually getI don’t usually get room service so always put do not disturbe sign on the doorLater the morning after i arrived she called me to ask if I wanted room service as she had found the sign on the ground and was not sure if it was mine That’s customer service!!!!!!!I will always be staying here when I come to Flat Head areaI HIGHLY RECOMMEND this comfortable Kalispell Hill Top InnIf your looking for accommodations make your reservation here now

Had a fairly pleasant stay here Mattress was too firm to my liking, but otherwise I was happy with the amenities provided and the noise levels (the hotel was mostly filled while we were there) Internet speeds were decent for streaming (we brought our Roku with us) and on tablets, phones and computers

If you’re staying multiple nights you will have to sign in to access the Internet nightly Last thing, the room we had included a refrigerator, sink, oven and drawers but the hotel didn’t include any silverware, dishes or pans but instead charges for these items, so be prepared There is laundry facilities on-site and you can purchase basic snack items and drinks I don’t know if there’s a soda machine anywhere; there wasn’t one on my floor The refrigerator in our room included an ice maker Make sure to check out the hotel’s website to know which amenities are included in the room you choose, and what size of bed you’d like This hotel is dog friendly

luckyblue1986

Hotel was really clean, the staff were super friendly and very attentive The beds were nice, plenty of pillows too The rooms were quiet it’s close to all the good amenities but just far enough away that’s its a quiet hotel

I actually really liked not having someone cleaning my room everyday it’s not needed and the front desk was always right on the ball if we needed anything The full size fridge was awesome, and the room was already cooled on arrival, big plus in my book I will definitely stay here again and in future I will look for these hotels first Keep doing what you are doing it was excellent Thanks for the great price point tooBut please I’m dying to know what kind of pillows are in the rooms???? Someone please tell me how I can get some, I’m begging you I constantly wake up with neck pain and headaches I woke up without any pain or headaches all 3 days I didn’t even roll over in the night because I was comfortable all night I desperately need one of those pillows

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at And we travel a lot It’s not just the cleanliness and the organization of the place, but the attentiveness and the warmness of all the staffs that make our stay an extraordinary experience

Fresh cookies, popcorn, hot tea, and coffee throughout the day Amazing breakfast!!! Thank you Tom and Chris for being so sweet, kind, and attentive Kalispell is forever a memorable place for us thanks to amazing people like you

This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip The building certainly has some history and naturally is a bit dated However with the A/C window units and and modern flat-screen TVs and comfortable beds, it still felt like a luxury stay

We even got to take our dogs with us and stay in the hotel The staff were super nice and friendly!

Room was a decent size for a family of 4 No fan in the bathroom When I was in the bathroom, I could hear people in the hall and upstairs

I couldn’t hear anyone from the beds though Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours a day Breakfast had a great variety of choices and the hot food changed each day Great location in town Great service at the desk

Dan Mingle

This is a very very good hotel The amenities were nice, clean, and a head and shoulders above a typical hotel – including the 24-hour on call shuttle! The breakfast was even better than advertised (the woman that runs it keeps everything on point!), and the 24 hour pool is very nice Every member of the staff that we met was top notch

Honestly, we were blown away at how great this experience was This will be the only hotel we stay at in Kalispell from now on

Clean and simple All went smoothly and no concerns Furniture is a bit out dated 90’s style but doesn’t impact my future consideration to stay here again

Probably only downside encountered is that a perk of being a Diamond member is late checkout and best I could muster from these guys was 30 minutes additional They always blame it on staff shortages but I’d be curious if they pay a living wage for their cleaning staff >$25/hr Very happy that there was a liquor store across the street Simple to get around from this location

Buck West

My husband and I booked a last minute weekend trip for my birthday We were able to check in early , and the cabin was adorable and very clean! Even better, the owners hosted a food truck and liquor truck right next door After our three hour drive and exploring, it was awesome to walk right next door to enjoy it

The owner is very nice and extremely welcoming The cabin was close to everything and easily accessible We even saw deer from the cabin We’re from Montana but it’s still exciting to see them 🙂 thank you for a wonderful stay We will definitely be back!

Floyd

Amazing customer service and friendliest people ever I was pulling a fairly long trailer and they arranged a perfect spot for me to pull in and park When I asked where a good place to eat was, she told me and without hesitation said “I can drive you up there right now if you’d like”, since there wouldn’t be anywhere close to park with what I was driving

Cabins are clean, comfortable and good condition Highly recommend

David Patrick

We had a fabulous weekend here! Upon first pulling in, you know you’re in for a treat The grounds and cabins are immaculate, and the perfect blend of modern and Montana rustic Lots of fun places to eat and get coffee just five minutes down the road in Lakeside

Tia was fantastic with phone and text communication, and my only regret is I didn’t take the time to walk over and meet her personally Next time! Oh, and we loved your beautiful, friendly catOur first time here, but definitely not our last Highly recommend!
