Room 718 I’m convinced has mold or some other allergen My sister and I stayed 5 nights On the second night it was so bad we could not breathe

The front desk moved us to room 709 which had an air purifier It was better but still bad Bellmen, valet, front desk staff were very nice The location was great and the hotel looks very nice 50$ nightly for incidentals 10$ nightly for a preservation fee (please read the fine print) If they are charging to preserve the building they could do a better job Overall, I would not stay here again The air quality in those rooms are horrible Been to many hotels in my travels and this is something I’ve never experienced

Frank Migliarese Jr.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Stayed for just one night but in that short time was treated the best I have ever been at a hotel Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful Made it seems as it was a pleasure to do their job to make make my experience as comfortable and positive as possible

The men and women of the valet especially were great and welcoming Hotel is beautifully decorated and elegant Room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated as well Would stay here again given experience and location

So, I first went to Le Pavilion over 10 years ago – it was beautiful (and still is in some ways) in an old world sort of way The lobby is glorious, and the rooms felt old and lived in and early America It’s a haunted hotel, although I’m sad I haven’t seen a ghost

It may be because about 5 or so years ago they renovated all the rooms, modernizing and sanitizing them, and they lost that old world charm It’s sort of sad that it feels like a Holiday Inn now The lobby is still spectacular, but the rooms are bland Sadly the pool was closed while we were there, and the front desk wasn’t very friendly We inquired when we checked in about a military discount because it wasn’t available to select when we booked, but then the person at the front desk said that we needed to do that when we booked – well, then I guess you don’t give a military discount since it’s not possible to get it Let’s just leave it at that, shall we? Nonetheless, I had some wonderful experiences in the past at Le Pavilion, including the fruit basket in my room the 2nd time I went back that had a card that read “Welcome Back, Mr Meek” I still remember that little gesture, and it still makes me smile But that was then, and I don’t think we’ll be staying at Le Pavilion anymore It’s not the same, although I will miss the PB&J happy hour, which is a nice holdover from before all the renovations

I had a family emergency and needed to cancel a room for the FINAL FOUR, a night where the room could’ve been booked by someone else for such a high demand event Couldn’t cancel with FindHotel, had to call the hotel and was lied to by Ron Ron wouldn’t return my phone call after telling me they’d “look into it”

Left messages, nothing I’m out $600 for a room I didn’t use that could’ve easily been rebooked by someone else Lack of customer service from both FindHotel and Residence Inn will keep me away from these businesses for future bookings for myself and my company The lack of empathy/customer service for such an easy fix is incredible I’ll be disputing this charge with my credit card company

Extremely Rude Customer Service: Will Never Check-IN! I’m in town for a funeral and was staying at the Hilton However, I need to stay a few more days but they don’t have any availability so

I figured I would try a different brand What a mistake I’m leaving on the holiday anyway but called to tell the hotel to modify my reservation for 1 day rather than the 5 nights Ghetto front desk said I had to stay 3 nights What I read at booking was a minimum 3 night stay for that RATE! 👎🏾 Nevertheless, I will not be checking in and you will not get a dime! #Facts People do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere Don’t you know that customer service is EVERYTHING 😡

Wife and I stopped by here on our way back from Baton Rouge over the summer The room was immaculate Everything was perfectly clean and the view was amazing

I loved that it was walking distance from Whole Foods so I could easily just walk down to the store for a quick snack or something to drink Other patrons pretty much minded their own business Nothing shady or anything else Would gladly stay here again!

Harry VH

It’s a good looking clean hotel with modern roomsUnfortunately, the best thing about a hotel is its shower (every1 loves a hot shower at the end of a 14 hour work day)The showers here only get lukewarm however and the water pressure is pitiful (it’s not just my room

My co worker who’s in a different room had the same complaint)I’d recommend it if you’re looking to stay only 1 night, but if you need a hotel for multiple days, you should go somewhere else (unless you’re weird & enjoy lukewarm showers, lol)

We love the IHG brand so we booked a 7 night stay and were so happy with the accommodations we extended another 4 nights! We had a little trouble our first night and Karin did everything she could to make it right and she DID! The rooms and baths are spacious Hotel views are lovely Beds are comfortable

And the BEST fried chicken (trust me!) is available across the street at Brother’s Hotel is walking distance to some great spots on Magazine St (District Donuts, Aidan Gill, Gris-Gris, Lily’s Nails) and the Streetcar is right outside the front door So glad we discovered Hotel Indigo!

miranda guerra

Great stay! I highly recommend the Babins bar & bistro downstairs it has great breakfast and service Steven the manager was very helpful (he gave great recommendations for places to visit) The young Colombian server was thoughtful and attentive in her service

Regarding the rooms and bathrooms they were clean and comfortable This hotel is located in a great spot! Overall I’d book again

Curtis McGhee Jr.

Even though we only stayed here one night during our vacation, it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, especially in New Orleans The room was beautiful, as you can see below Also, we enjoyed having a valet parking because there really isn’t anywhere to park on the side of the street

Overall, a great place to stay We will probably stay at Hotel Indigo again if we visit New Orleans again

I stayed at this hotel for the first time during an all female motorcycle event The employees at this hotel was fantastic When we needed more towels it was there

One of the elevators went down during our visit but it was fixed in a timely manner The room was clean and the pillows were very comfortable If you needed your room clean you had to request for it which was understandable (Covid has changed everything) Lastly the cookies, the cookies, cookies they were so good! They handed these out as were where standing in line to check in along with a bottle of water I would stay at this hotel again

Robert Pendt

The hotel was clean and quite comfortable It was necessary for me to get my room key reprogrammed initially but I think I will try using the Hilton app at the next stay instead of the hard card Room temp was a balmy 65° but thankfully allowed for guest adjustment

The staff was especially accommodating for our group’s transportation needs The daily breakfast was adequate albeit a little pricey for individual expense All things considered I would certainly stay at this Hilton again

Valencia Ellis

This is an amazing Hotel! There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs! Extremely clean & CROWD READY! The pool area & seating in back was awesome They were UNDERSTANDING of the fact that we were celebrating & having fun as adults! We just needed housekeeping to give us clean towels & bedding as we were there for THREE DAYS! We were told by a service person the washing machine was broken I think they had just grown tired of us as a group! But we are returning

soon! So get the machine ready! We love DOUBLETREE ❤️

Overall, this hotel is very nice The people at the front desk are really sweet, the location is probably the best you can get in NOLA (more quiet, but still lots of things to do, is close to universities…etc), and the rooms are pretty nice There is an outdoor area near the pool where you can bring your own food and eat dinner which is really nice and you can only sit there with a room key (so if you’re staying there)

10/10 recommend! Edit: forgot to mention it did smell very strong of marijuana in the hallway I was staying in which was very uncomfortable

K L

Location is nice – hotel itself is average Parking is behind the hotel itself Also important to note that you have to scan your hotel card to get in the parking lot

Not super helpful for me because I checked in on the app but still had to go to the desk to get a parking tag to hang on the rear view mirror Kind of defeats the purpose of checking in on the appSecond thing is hot breakfast was completely empty I went back to my room to let the crowd die down, went back a half hour later and still empty unless someone would just want a bagel and wait in line to make a waffleProbably would stay again if I can for business again but as the rating says – average

Jessica Beck

Clean! The only place I physically saw sanitize wipes available in New Orleans That isn’t the only reason The rooms and everything is clean They have a pool and a sitting area outside

They have helped us tremendously! We had to stay overnight from cruise due to waiting on a rental car They held our luggage while we explored the city today Also a warm breakfast that is delicious Trolly available right outside door that takes you to Bourbon Street $300

Beautiful property! Great location Smells DELIGHTFUL Everyone was great and welcoming

Would like to send a special shout out to Ray who went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of with holding our bags after checkout and arranging for our transportation to the airport The coffee shop and peacock room was great Would definitely visit again! Only downside is there is no microwave in the room but other than that, no complaints

Joe M.

Nice hotel Recently renovated Staff was great, very helpful and friendly

Beds were comfortable but they’ve done this glued on wicker thing on the headboard Not the best touch Water pressure in shower was also very low No coffee maker in the room but you can go down to the coffee shop for complimentary black coffee This seems pretty standard with Kimpton and Covid Peacock room had great drinks! Location of this hotel is also good for exploring as you are walking distance to both the French quarter and garden district

This hotel is cool From the check in experience the staff showed professionalism and kindness Which is important to me

They informed me of everything the hotel had to offer and surrounding businesses that I could possibly need Inside they had a nice restaurant/bar Also a coffee shop called “The Gospel” This hotel actually made my stay in NOLA really great

Front staff is amazing The cleaning staff is amazing We had multiple issues and they were all taken care of immediately

Even with the NCAA tournament going on One star down because everything was dated and old However, keep in mind that it was still clean Meaning the staff was doing whatever they can to keep something old and falling apart in the best shape possible Kudos!

Natalie G

Honestly, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at The staff was super friendly and helpful, it is a good location right next to the Mississippi river and has easy access to highways to get on the road It’s in a good area

I was worried about the area when I booked it cuz you never know, but I felt very safe at this hotel!! Our room was comfortable and had a cute little kitchenette I wish our stay was longer at this hotel, it fit our needs perfectly

Collette Brown

Size of the room was nice for my family of four Could’ve used more lighting The hotel was pet friendly with several areas available for elimination needs

It seemed to be busy, but I didn’t hear the other guests when I was in my room, so rooms seemed to be well insulated My only complaint was the lack of explanation and immediate resolution of the additional two charges for my room totaling $309

This was our second time at the Saint I brought my lady here the second time to propose

she said yes! She loved it so much the first time we came I knew it was the perfect placeI can’t say enough about how the staff jumped to do everything they could to make this perfect for us Absolutely exceptional service and genuine caringWe stayed in the Lucifer suite which was fantastic and everything my fiance lovesWe will always stay here when we come to NOLA

Troy Doerner

The room – We stayed in the Raphael suite and while the room was large and comfortable parts of it felt ignored and in need of repair/replacement The sofa was a white pleather that was peeling and flaking meaning we could not sit on it without specks sticking on our clothing The shower made a very loud noise anytime it was used and there was a lot of noise from the alley directly outside our window making sleeping in very difficult

Beyond that the room was clean, large and very opulent The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff was great at keeping things neatThe staff – The staff at the front desk were AMAZING They were nice and very knowledgeable regarding the surrounding attractions They recommended some great spots we had not previously considered which made our trip all the better

Xenia Fortune

Our first time to New Orleans and Kirsten set us up for the time of our lives! She gave us great tips, recommendations and pointers for the city that all came in handy The design and theme of the hotel is beautiful, rooms were clean, comfy and well serviced Housekeeping was great and accommodating

Great service from all the staff Very conveniently located in the city close to everything!

FABULOUS GEM in Metairie! My honey and I go to our share of hotels all over and when staying in Metairie this is by far the best feeling, clean, safe, comfortable, specious and quiet hotels we have found We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay The staff is absolutely the biggest bonus

They are so incredibly helpful and reliable Our bathtub had a Jacuzzi which we incredibly enjoyed The bed is comfortable and there are many movies and TV stations to choose from in both the bedroom and the living room The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, full functioning stove and a full size refrigerator The air conditioner works extremely well and the granite floors in the bathroom and kitchen felt fabulous on my feet Room service even came in while we were gone and changed the trash cans and exchanged our dirty towels for clean ones It is greatly priced for what you get We are extremely satisfied and would personally like to thank the ladies at the front desk for making our stay at the plaza suite feel like home We will definitely be back! We loved it 💋

Breakfast variety: 4 items: Omelet 2 different ways, oats (petite portion), fruit (petite portion as well) and coffee (lousy) or waterMy wife tripped over a loose floorboard (a 50 cm sharp piece of wood had partially splintered off from the wooden floor transition piece) leaving the breakfast area on the way to the hotel lobby After 10 minutes, the receptionist finally brought some band-aids and disinfection cream

Apology from the hotel? — Nothing Would they immediately repair it? No! The next day it was still the sameRoom: the extraction fan in the bathroom did not work The only way to get any fresh air into the room was to keep the door forced open with the luggage rack Absolutely terrible place We are so glad to be back in Germany Even a 2-Star Hotel here is better than the Hilton in the US They wouldn’t dare to have a breakfast area without a Buffet spread Value for money? The 5-day stay in the Hilton cost much more than the entire airfare for us two from Germany to New Orleans and back, but we had to visit this town to attend the funeral of my wife’s mother

Jeremy Bell

The carpet in our room was sticky I don’t want to make any guesses as to why, because I’m sure that would gross me out even more We also experienced sub-par customer service during our stay

When we arrived at the hotel, there was a security guard behind the counter that looked like a desk agent When I approached him to check in, he didn’t look at me or talk to me The other person behind the counter had to notify me that I was talking to the wrong person It would have been nice if he could have had the common courtesy to at least look at me and motion in the direction of who I should be speaking to I’m not sure what kind of security he’s providing if he never looks up Also, the front desk did not answer my questions clearly or provide accurate information about the airport shuttle I was told it ran every 15 minutes, but it was closer to every 30 minutes with how slow the shuttle operated At least it was free Lastly, to no fault of the Hilton, this hotel is no longer next to the airport Travelers should be aware that the shuttle to and from the airport takes about 10-20 minutes The only thing that this hotel is close to is the airport car rental facility It’s directly across the street, and you can walk to it If you aren’t renting a car, I’d suggest staying at a different hotel that’s closer to the airport that has better rooms and customer service

Heather Verret

Review for airport parking only: used their parking service when our usual wasn’t available Registered online & prepaid for 3 days of parking

You have to go inside the hotel lobby to check in & get a tag to place on your dashboard for the duration of your staythere was a short wait upon arrival, so definitely allow for extra time for that Also allow for extra time as the shuttle ride to the airport is about 10 minutes, plus an extra 10 or so to load everyone & their luggage The process isn’t as speedy as lots closer to the terminal, but if you allow for extra time this is definitely a good, convenient option Cost is about the same as other lots Drivers were also extremely courteous & went out of their way to assist others, which was appreciated

Location was good for the airport The staff was friendly We ended up having to switch rooms 2xs

The 3rd room we were finally able to stay in The entire process took a little over 15hrs As frustrating as this was since it was late and we had to get up very early for a flight, the gentleman working (JosephI think) was very helpful, friendly and apologetic None of it was hit fault directly But he made sure to do what he could to get us in a room we were able to stay in for the night I am sure he was just as frustrated but he never showed it Great customer service can go along way Thank you!

I am a lifetime Titanium member with Marriott so I have come to expect certain things Sadly, in spite of the friendly staff, this hotel is lacking It definitely needs updating and housekeeping is on the poor side

They are supposed to do a touch up daily, trash taken out, towels changed, etc, they may or may not do this with not being a couple times a week Changing the sheets only occurs when I tell the front desk it needs done, not every 3 days like they tell you Their solution to housekeeping not getting the trash daily is to leave your trashcan in the hall, which causes them to take the trashcan and not replace the bag When you ask for your trashcan back they simply say okay and walk away

Great location and very nice staff The hotel is kept clean, they clean A LOT, housekeeping is coming almost everyday lol The hotel is packed right now due to the recent storm of Hurricane Ida but the people are nice

The noise from the rooms can travel some (thin walls) but it’s overall not too noisy Breakfast is a decent hot breakfast, I would stay here again!

Eric England

The room was great, the breakfast was great, the housekeeping staff was loud Be warned, If you’re working a night shift – this is not the place for you The house keeping staff is required to enter your room at a minimum of one time every 5 days

They will not work with you regarding the time I requested that my room be the last room serviced and was woken up at 2PM every 5 days (hurts when you’re working 5PM – 6AM!)

My family and I are checking out today the hotel had a bad ant problem that they refused to address Also, my son was traumatized by seeing the police called on a young lady with a baby We didn’t get the whole story but she was very upset and talking loud

Apparently the hotel staff was harassing her about leaving late My son asked me “why are the police here? What did they do?” I simply just had to explain to him about being black in this country I’ve had similar conversations but he’s only 7 and has never seen it happen in person The front desk workers and manager who did that should be fired We’re going to the Fairfield next door

The hotel seems to be under a renovation, but it shouldn’t be open in the condition that it’s in It just looks dirty The lobby appears nice, as do the hallways, and the rooms, but it’s all the small details which make it look dirty and uninhabitable

The carpets in the hallways and the rooms have specks of dried spackle, caulk, or other building materials Easily fixed it vacuumed properly Same goes for the furniture in the room, bathroom, and walls All the left over building materials make it look like it hasn’t been cleaned because literally it hasn’t The toilet in my room wasn’t bolted into the floor at all, and moved with ease I practically fell off of it initiallyFixtures in the building are hanging off by a screw, the sconces in the hallways, the elevator button panelsall these things can easily be addressed by a handyman No maintenance personnel were seen at all addressing any of these matters when I was presentThe front desk personnel were pleasantly and welcoming and the hotel does seem like it will eventually look very nice once these issues are addressedI stay in hotels about 10-15 nights a month and this was less than satisfactory

Maine Girl

When we got the room online it never mentioned anything about being under renovation from last years hurricane When we got there, there were signs up thanking us for our patience After we checked in and went to our room, our room was definitely not cleaned

The bathroom was full of hair and disgusting We went down to the front desk and were told there were no other rooms There was no apologies or anything We cancelled our reservations and went and found someplace else to stay for the night Very inconvenient since we had a to get up at 330am for an early flight The customer service was nothing we would expect, especially after letting her know what we found It was like no big deal to her Maybe she was used to itI don’t know But I do know I am not used to a dirty hotel room and will not stay in one Especially when I am spending my hard earned money Will not be returning here again & would not recommend!

Adrienne Ricard

The staff was friendly The list of disappoints goes on and on (1) The carpet was dirty and ripped, it smelled and was sticky

I had to always keep my socks on (2) The shower stall had large plops of mildew and hair around the base (3) The restaurant was closed and there wasn’t any grab and go, as advertised on the website (4) Housekeeping services were unavailable unless your stay exceeded five days, guests should be informed prior to check-in (5) There were yellow stains on the white towels I went to Target to purchase me some (6) There was visible toothpaste splatter on the faucet and mirror I won’t bore you with the minor infractions Clearly this hotel is not maintained or routinely cleaned When I asked about these things, I was told that housekeeping had gone for the day and that they would address it the next day

Absolutely love everything about this hotel Great staff!! It’s right across the street from the casino didn’t even know when I book Your right in the heart of everything

Bourbon St isn’t too far from this hotel at all Rooms are clean & well kept Room service was great, we had a two night stay When we got back our room had been cleaned, restocked with everything River view was great All charges were told up front no surprise Definitely will be back

Katie Rages

Good location but room was somewhat run-down The air conditioning was not keeping up but not quite bad enough to be worth changing rooms Pool was nice but be aware it’s in the shade in the afternoon

You will be charged a hefty fee to self-park (because the valet section is full or under construction or something?), but don’t worry, the five valet guys standing around will be happy to go self park for you for $20 Good location to explore the French Quarter and the Riverwalk outlet mall though!

Ernest Mallett

When I went to check in, I was quite upset to learn that my reservation I made through a 3rd party booking website had been canceled without my knowledge What was even more concerning was that the hotel was fully booked for the night as were many surrounding locations However the staff did not let that stop them

Tiffany went above and beyond to ensure that I had a place to stay with them at night Above And Beyond Maria took very good care of me in the lobby and the shuttle driver even warmed me up some hot cinnamon rolls while I waited for a room to become available This is such an excellent and attentive staff and I seriously cannot thank them enough for bending over backwards to ensure I had a warm place to stay for the evening

Marcel Adams

Overall, the staff were friendly and the room was VERY clean I was most impressed upon entering the room with how fresh and fragrant it smelled Having a microwave and fridge was a plus too

What was my most egregious experience with Holiday Inn was their evening shuttle service My friend and I waited more than an hour in a pick-up area with no seating We sat on the cement ground We even had an offer from another hotel service to drop us off after his run if we were still waiting Adding insult to injury once the driver arrived he made no attempt to open the door like we observed with other services AND he did not greet us Not a word!

A few months ago I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express St Charles while in New Orleans and gave a scathing review I don’t like giving poor reviews and fortunately this one is just the opposite John (pictured) checked us in and was super friendly and helpful

He even gave excellent dinner recommendations Unlike the tired hotel at St Charles this facility seems to be very well cared for It’s located in a business district Much better area and better parking The restaurant next door is new We took a chance because it was convenient It was very good I’ll also review it as well

If this hotel is 3 stars, then I need 4 star because this was not 3 star quality according to my standards In my room the air conditioner was noisy, the carpet runner was falling away from the wall This revealed a wall which looked moldy, the carpet was dirty, the bed skirt was stained

They bed was uncomfortable I could not sleep, maybe my anxiety was taking over, anyway-it was not good rest The kicker is that, it was the only room available on the first floor, and I had an elderly parent who is unable to walk the stairs Then again I’m not sure if the room upstairs were any better-according to my guest whom I had booked in a room on that floor There was trash scattered around the halls and parking lot Just gross 🤢 I do not recall having such a bad experience on a previous stay at this hotel… very disappointed I will certainly choose elsewhere the next time I’m in town 😒

Sean Foley

Stayed here one night before an early flight from MSY The hotel is recently renovated and the room was clean Bed was fairly comfortable

Check-in was fast and friendly The odd-numbered room face a bright and fairly noisy gas station The sign outside the hotel said happy hour was 4-7 with free Abita beer, but the front desk never mentioned it Overall, a decent place to spend a night

Lady at front Courtney was so nice and inviting She made us so comfortable She let us check in early and gave us a upgrade second night with a balcony

Amanda at the bar made us some killer good long island teas The trolley stops at your front door everything is close walking distance Perfect location and far enough away from bourbon so you get quite sleep We definitely will be back

Betsy MM

A colleague and I were in NOLA for a conference and landed at this hotel due to rates being incredibly reasonable for a five night stay It is centrally located, super walkable to just about anything and we loved that a Starbucks, Cafe Beignet and the Trolley stop were just steps awayThe front desk staff are ALL incredibly friendly and welcoming

Even with navigating a slew of check-in’s they were all very pleasant I have status with Marriott, so I was able to check into my room at 2PM My colleague was not able to check in until roughly 4:30PM so be aware of the 4PM check-in I imagine if they are short staffed, like the rest of the planet, that would account for even the delay in getting in your room by 4I had a King room, that was plenty big, clean and well decorated with everything in working order My sleep quality was amazing, the AC worked great and the beds/pillows were dreamy My colleague did mention that his room was much smaller than mine, but comfortableWe had a drink at the bar one evening that was deliciously made; plenty of signature NOLA cocktails to choose from We were in and out of the hotel over 5 days and never had any negative experience I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

Brittany Bowers

Great water pressure and temperature in the shower for those late night showers after Bourbon St Pretty good selection in the market shop in the lobby Didn’t try the on site Bistro or Starbucks while visiting (always woke up too late or arrived back in too late lol) Friendly staff

Shout outs to the night shift front lobby receptionists for being available to let me shop for a late night snack Housekeeping was fantastic as well Room was clean for our 4 night stay
