Nice hotel I feel like “The Alloy” focused their expenses and updates on the lobby/ dining area (which to be fair is beautiful) The rooms are nice as well with newer furnishings, but don’t quite match the elegance of the main entrance

Staff was very friendly and helpfulMy room was equipped with a mini fridge (which was great) However, the bathroom did not have a fan, which led to cloudy mirrors after showering I could sometimes hear other guests through the walls (but it was not overly bothersome)Parking was manageable There are many restaurants, coffee, and grocery stores nearby You cannot hear any highway noise from inside the rooms

Beautifully remodeled hotel All the main areas, including rooms, had updated features and decor Note, that the only “outdated” area, IMO, was the bathroom – however still very nice and spacious

We received a warm cookie at check in, which we enjoyed in one of their outside seating areas, with the most comfortable couches The fully-stocked bar area had plenty of seating for drinking or collaborating with colleagues The best part was the gym It had all the needed machines and weights to have a fairly good workout They even have an area with ear phones in case you forgot your own All the machines seemed new, with TV workout interactions It’s one of the better hotels we’ve stayed on our work trip in Philly

This will be my second time coming to The Alloy, and it didn’t disappoint The staff upon check-in were amazing, beautiful, helpful, warm, and welcoming The Hotel itself, sets very elegantly on the property

The general entrance / commons, bar, and restaurant areas are so well-kept and look great The rooms are spacious, clean, updated, and comfortable I really have no complaints for The Alloy on this stay It was pleasant, and close to everything I needed to get to All major retail, and entertainment are within seconds, to a few minutes from the property I have now made this place a permanent consideration, for future leisure or business stops in the KOP area

What started out disappointing turned out to be a decent stay I booked our room for my cousins wedding months before I worked directly with an agent to understand the sleeping arrangements

It was booked is a queen suite so we could be in the building with the other wedding guests but would have 2 queen beds and a couch bed When we arrived they said our room wasn’t ready less than an hour before the wedding and they down graded us because they over sold the wedding rate After being a Marriott rewards member since the program first started I was disgusted and very irate I asked for the on-site manager When they reviewed my book and saw how many months out I booked they immediately put me back into the room I had booked and it was amazingly it was ready The room was lovely but the service was terrible They helped me and screwed the people who checked in right before me, also wedding quests and the family after us too Later that night a family came down for bedding for their pull out couch and the hotel gave them 1 sheet, 1 blanket and one pillow and told them that was the last pillow they hadAll I can say is that the hotel was clean and quiet and attached to the venue so that was worth it I can tell you I would only recommend this hotel if you had to attend an event at the Springfield Country club Definitely not a relaxing vacation spot

This place is huge Very clean very neat and very organized The entrance has a super big axcent wall soon as u enter with a great appealing view

All the staff was so polite and very generous The lighting was well lit everywhere chandeliers where spectacular everywhere I looked The services were all perfect the parking was abundant The food served was delicious I mean everything went perfectly well for me and my wife no complaints at all 5 stars to the venue the building the staff the food and the whole experience here

We were at the hotel for a wedding It was a festive occasion for us and we were looking forward to a great stay at Marriott hotel But there were many surprises in the wings

1) The rooms do not have lockers to store your valuables They have bank-type lockers at the check-in counter which are very inconvenient when you have to carry your valuables, including jewelry from your room to the front desk Also very risky for losing some of the stuff2) When I called in to deliver a pillow to my room, the front desk clerk refused as he was alone on duty and was not allowed to leave the desk So if you need anything after 10PM, you have to go down to front desk3) They did not have foam pillows The front desk people did not even know what foam pillow looks/feels like The bed was very soft The room was small with not much light in the room The switches are located at inconvenient places There is no microwave in the room You can use the microwave located near front desk But just like locker situation, this is inconvenient as well4) My Marriott App mentioned that I had free breakfast But the front desk said that it is wrong and they will contact Marriott to update their system I did not push for getting free breakfast after see the other issues I mentioned above5) At times there were long lines to front desk since they only had 1 or 2 clerks working there6) There was still construction going on in the hotel, but we did not hear lot of noiseNow the good part1) The staff was friendly and tried to help as much as they could2) It is located on a very nice golf course So all the golf lovers this is the place to stay if you are in Springfield, PAWe had pleasant time due to all the festivities, but the stay could have been much better

This was about the BEST experience we’ve had in a hotel in a very long time The staff, everyone i met, was extremely friendly and helpful We called for a reservation that morning and spoke with the front desk person

When we arrived, he remembered our nameHe, and everybody working there were so attentive and friendly Even the maintenance man collecting trash joked around with me!Staying in the area, you’d be welcomed here If i am on the area again, I’m staying at this hotel

Reesey 44

Locations great Room was fine except tub spigot sticking out kind of far from the wall Also requested that room be serviced while we were out and it was not so we came back to a unservice room just grab some towels and went to bed and dealt with it

Otherwise the place is fine It’s a hotel room either book it or don’t you know what’s the big deal

Steven Howe

2 week stay in the hotel Ideally located for the mall (sorry walk but no obvious sidewalk) Decor felt a little tired in the hotel, like most that have had business affected by COVID, but the excellent staff were welcoming and very helpful and gave good advice on how to get into Philadelphia for the day (take the bus!)

Nice gym, good sized rooms

An overall fair experienceTo start, I had reserved a king room a few weeks ago On arrival at 5:30pm, was informed that no kings were available

We were given the option of taking an immediately available double queen or waiting for the king We had a concert to get to in less than two hours so we opted for the double queenThe room was at least very quiet, but it really looked pretty worn See the pics below for the quite worn desk chair, rusty hardware on the furniture and what I can only assume was a missing shower caddy? on the shower wall leaving a residue of adhesive Felt more like a two star motel rather than a 3 star hotel roomThe lobby area was quite nice however, and they serve cookies at night in the lobby, which is a “sweet” touch The hotel is also within walking distance of a Target and several chain restaurants which was convenientOverall, relatively affordable but I probably would not stay again unless I had a worse experience at a nearby hotel

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I have been coming here for a long time If you choose this place you definitely won’t regret itBeautiful hotel, well kept, clean, excellent service, great location for what I went for will definitely stay again if I ever visit Philadelphia again Employees very attentive and friendly

ROOM: I was extremely happy with the room accommodations I got a 2x queen bed room Lots of lighting, desk / counter space, and closet space

Mini fridge actually got coldSERVICE: There was no room service unfortunately the weekend i stayed There was one housekeeping staff that was extremely rude and attempted to literally walk through me near the elevators as i rounded a corner It was a moment of a game of “chicken” The service staff in the lobby at the reception and at the breakfast were excellentLOCATION: very safe, with frequent night patrols by hotel security, which i appreciated The hotel is tucked away in an area with nice grass and trees Only minor downside is that it is not in center city itselfOVERALL: would return

Our stay here a was awesome! The rooms are clean and spacious The toilet and shower were in a separate room from the sink and mirror which was a big bonus when traveling with others (No waiting 😉!)A hot Breakfast is a must for me and it is extra here depending on what you get, but the cook it for you and bring it out to your table

Great place and very reasonable rates!

Shelia T

Always friendly and welcoming The team is always willing to go the extra mileRooms are clean and comfortableLocation is awesome access to major roadways restaurants and shopping is in close proximity to the hotelHighly recommend

Katherine Maccarone

Rooms are outdated and dusty, pool is small, there was no way to connect to the front desk via the phone in the room (you had to call the hotel phone number and go through all of the steps, including having your reservation number, just to get to the front desk), food was VERY overpriced, and there was only ONE elevator in the entire building With young children, having to walk over 5 minutes to get to your hotel room is ridiculous For a Marriot, that was VERY disappointing

Leaving 1 star for the location

Staff is very friendly and provide good service The initial look and feel is nice, but the rooms can use an update They lack modern amenities like USB ports, room key activated lighting or even ample number of outlets

Furniture is a bit worn, but are kept respectable Bathroom shows its age and should be remodeled On a positive note, the location is convenient and the sound insulation between rooms is good Your neighbors can’t be heard through the walls

Kim greeted me at 6:00 pm as I walked in and I gave her my name, I had a reservation and full profile I was not greeted as a rewards member I was not thanked for being a Diamond member

I was not thanked for also being an Ambassador member I was not asked about welcome points or offered a water or snackI was given a second floor room, I promptly asked for my preference of a top floor room and without even trying to accommodate my request, Kim told me that she could not change my room She dismissed me without even pointing the way to the elevator There was nobody else waiting in the lobby, she didn’t seem too busy to try to accommodate my request for a top floor or to acknowledge my rewards statusInternet logon page would not load on any browser or any device I could not log in I stay at IHG every week, I know how to log in the page is down No internet for meThe room was clean and satisfactoryThere is no sleep timer on the TV It would be nice to have a sleep timer Hotel bill was slipped under the door in the morning, I like thatPerhaps the new IHG Rewards structure is different than it used to be So sad

Met my expectations, room was nice, comfortable and clean, staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming breakfast was the standard HIE breakfast My only complaint was, I has connection problems to the internet with my computer and android phone iPhone connected without issue

I was on a business trip and to my luck was dropped off at a Marriott but 10 mins away from this one by car I had no way of getting to the hotel since I did not have a car, so I called them to inform them of what happened The lady on the phone stated she would cancel my reservation and submit for a refund and that I don’t get charged a cancellation fee

But most likely I would get a refund but get charged a cancellation fee since it was day of I had no other option since I did not have a car to get there and also I am from out of town and was only staying for one night I received an email the next day in the after noon by the general manager (Amberlyn) who stayed that since I canceled my reservation last minute and they could not resale the room they were still going to charge me for a stay Did not even ask me any background questions to try and understand why I did not make it that day Ever since that day I have emailed her and “Customer Care” numerous times and I even called to speak to a supervisor and have heard back from no one You think that since I stayed at a Marriott and I am a new member of there rewards club/group what ever its called they would accommodate me this one time Since this was my first time trying to stay at there hotel and it did not work out Your jobs are supposed to be around Customer Care and right know your not showing that at all I am not asking for anything crazy or treating anyone bad I just want a refund for a stay that I was unable to complete You’re hotel has a lot of money refunding me won’t break your bank

The hotel was swapping out all of the mattresses I appreciate the effort but it would’ve been nice to know when I booked The parking lot was a maze, full of mattresses and massive trucks cutting off whole sections and taking up tons of parking spots

One day my wife and I came home from lunch to people in our room with our door wide open We were given no warning, at no point were we asked for permission She had her wallet and personal items in the room Blatant disregard for us and our privacy 100% will never be staying here again nor will I be recommending it to anyone I’d give zero stars if that was an option

This hotel was a lot better the first time I visited a few years ago I am used to a high level service and energy when I stay at Hyatt hotels The service here was ok

We didn’t receive that personal and accommodating spirit we are used to at other Hyatt hotels in different locations We traveled from the midwest and stayed 6 days The breakfast was scrambled eggs and pork meat every day This was disappointing because we are not meat eaters and we were expecting the classic Hyatt breakfast since hot food was being served The room was good We traveled with our infant son and asked for a crib We were brought a heavily stained and dirty pack and play There was no way I was putting my 4 month old in that thing We had to go get a pack and play for him to sleep in A couple nights we could hear loud talking and people hanging out at the bar because our room was close to the lobby

We had an family group event using the large meeting room and needed a block of rooms for everyone at Homeward Suites in Audubon, PA Our booking was done with the greatest ease and convenience The meeting room was exceptionally clean and ready for my group

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating The hotel’s ambiance was intoxicating I sat in the lobby and enjoyed the fireplace and calm solitude in the evening and had a wonderful breakfast (courtesy of the hotel) in the morning Homewood Suites will always be my go-to place for all my meeting place needs in the future Everything was exceptional!

Anita Macias

The location of this hotel was great, really close to the malls The main purpose of our trip was to go shopping but it was also not too far from the major city where we went to see a few things The service was great, I really enjoyed how helpful the front desk agent was, Kelsi

She made sure to keep in touch with us the whole trip to ensure that we had everything we needed The hotel was very clean, has free parking and is in a quiet environment I would stay here again!

Rachel B. Vance

We choose this hotel because of its location to our daughter’s camp as well as the listed amenities We initially planned a two week stay, but only stayed 7 days Distance was great for the travel

Breakfast was acceptable if you arrived early before the crowd The housekeeping for the rooms was exceptional! Thank you Margarita for being helpful and considerate during our extended stay However, the grounds were not cleaned regularly The pool and the golf/tee area were not usable by my family The golf/tee area had dog waste for the first two days Had to ask front desk to have it removed After a few days, waste was still found on the area The golf/tee area and pool are smaller than the pictures The pool was cleaned regularly in the mornings, but was not clean by late afternoon So we were never able to swim, nor use the golf/tee area

The rooms are dated (if that’s important to you), but mostly my concern is carpet which was very dated and felt dirty (i didn’t get close enough to thoroughly inspect, just wear your flip flops and it’s fine) The AC and fridge were both pretty loud but just white noise so that didn’t bother us too muchFront desk people were all very nice and answered any questions we had

Pool looked clean but we didn’t get a chance to use it Breakfast room is small (i guess not everyone eats their free breakfast)Neighborhood: i mean the mall is in view which also means lots of restaurants and next door is dominoes which for us was a great option for a late dinner Not a great place to walk around since you’re surrounded by main roads but we managed a stroll and it felt pretty safe

Grace Gardner

This hotel was actually so awful I came here on a school trip and we got our room and it wasn’t cleaned since the last stay, my classmates rooms weren’t cleaned either The beds were messy and the bathroom was gross

We ended up getting new rooms and the sheets didn’t fit the bed The toilet wouldn’t flush and numerous other rooms had plumbing issues too The downstairs wasn’t being used because there was water damage in the basement There weren’t many breakfast options either The bedding was practically just sheets, it gave off creepy vibes and a 13 year old was hit on by another person staying here The only reason I’m putting 2 stars and not one is because the pool was great, and the outside was pretty cool I do NOT recommend!!!

Melanie Garbaini

Great location Outdated decor/ rooms Extremely dirty pool with no running filter and hardly any chlorine

Friendly employees Front desk does not answer the phones though Breakfast was very simple So not try the Blueberry waffle mix, it’s awful Bed was comfortable Rooms did not receive service Stains on shear curtains No dark curtains to block out lightThere are other hotels in the same area that are probably much better

A great hotel! Stayed f or a softball tournament to be with some of my teammates! The staff were very helpful when we had asked for a new shampoo bottle and more towels The rooms were huge and clean! We only had 1 problem which was with our bathroom door that was very heavy to open and close Other then that the hotel is great! The outdoor area is beautiful and the inside is gorgeous! Great place to go!!Reply to owner:Thank you so much!In case you need to know we had stayed in room 420! Door was a bit heavy to push and pull

But staff had helped us with everything while we were there!

Despite being a no-frills hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortableI would like to give a special shout-out to Morgan from the Front Desk She is so warm, friendly and helpful

Knowing that i was from out of country and my first time i am in the area, she kindly took the time to advise and give recommendations on the attractions and facilities in the vicinity I also needed small change for purposes of tipping, and she went out of her way to facilitate the my hundred dollar bill into smaller notes

We traveled to Collegeville for a softball tournament We chose this hotel based on where other teammates were staying Check in was easy – staff was very friendly

The manager even went up to our room to make sure it was ready as we were checking in Hotel was nice and quiet, rooms were spacious and staff was constantly cleaning the hotel We did a load of laundry and they even had detergent and softener sheets at the front desk If we ever go back to Collegeville, we will return to this hotel

My Mom recently stayed at The Radnor Hotel and she wanted to share her amazing experience:All I can say is WOW! I have traveled far and wide within and outside US and have usually stayed at big chain hotels for consistency of service I had to go to Philadelphia every month for my moms doctors appointment We tried big chains in the area for a couple of times and were very disappointed

And than we tried Radnor hotel! A hidden gem! The considerate and quality of personalized service, the consistency, attention to detail, and I can go on and on I am very impressed and pleased with my experience and will return again and again for my moms treatment

We decided to book a block of rooms at the Radnor Hotel for our wedding in May Leading up to our wedding day, we were in communication with a few people and everyone was friendly and helpful I will point out though that there were long periods of time when we didn’t get a response within 24-48 hours

A few days before our check in date, our guests who were staying over as well as us received an email basically telling everyone the “rules” stating the quiet hours policy We heard feedback from some of our guests that they have never received an email like this from any hotel and they were a little taken back to be honest The hotel and rooms were clean and simple but nothing special for the rate you are paying The morning of my wedding day, the bridal party wanted to get breakfast at the breakfast buffet Upon checking in, we received rude service from the host and they were being so nit picky about who is staying in which room when my husband and I stated at check in that everyone who is apart of our wedding block should be put under our tab When we sat down to eat, we decided to combine two square dining tables since there were 10 of us total It’s important to note that we were the only ones dining The next morning, we went again to the breakfast buffet and noticed that they placed signage up stating to NOT move or combine the tables It felt so passive aggressive and snobby I do want to point out that the food was delicious and had a wide variety of options We also ran into some issues with some of our party not being able to book a room after our block closed There were still rooms available but they would not let them book unless they stayed for two nights I don’t understand why a hotel would turn away someone who is literally willing to pay the FULL PRICE for a room when it was probably empty Again, rude and frustrating We were also extremely disappointed to find out that their bar closed at 11pm My husband and I were willing to pay extra and guarantee at least 20 people for drinks and appetizers after our wedding for an after party Again, turned away and made us feel like we were asking for too much when in fact this is a very popular Overall, if you are getting married in the Radnor area, then this is the most convenient location since it was literally a 3 minute drive from our venue but other than that, I would recommend looking elsewhere If you and your party want to further the celebration after a wedding, don’t book here It’s a buzzkill to be honest And the cherry on top of everything was the service We literally felt like an inconvenience and the staff was snobby and rude I do not recommend staying here and we will not be back

Walls are thin We were their for a sports tournament, their were tons of kids running around late into the night We could hear everything

Bar downstairs had outdoor seating and we could hear that until 2am I would say get your room on the opposite side of the bar Breakfast time came and parents allowed the children to run and play all around the food Staff was able to refill food quick enough for all the guestThe hotel staff itself was professional and friendly The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The pool wasn’t available

Room was good Breakfast was good This hotel isn’t close to other dining so be ready to drive a few minutes to dining

The big, and only real issue is that you get zero maid service unless you stay for five days or more For towels and linens this makes a lot of sense However, it also means they don’t empty the trash or check the toilet paper stock At the price of a SpringHill Suites hotel, this takes them from a five star to a one star

Patricia at front desk did an amazing job! Rest of stay experience very poor Confirmed floor was not available (confirmed by chat room day of stay) Light in bathroom not working and took 2 days to fix

No soap in shower Room smelled Other than Patricia, poor customer service from front desk Of course, no room cleaning due to staffing shortage or whatever reason Hotel can control all of these issues – maintenance, proper cleaning, etc Also preferred status at Hilton receive water – not at Marriott anymore? Normally, I enjoy Marriott and have great experiences – this was an exception

We booked our stay with a special aarp rate with 2pm late check out We verified late checkout upon booking, upon arrival and again the next day It wasn’t until we received a call at 12:15 on checkout day that unless we left by 12:30 they were going to charge us an additional half day

There was no dealing with them, so we scrambled to finish packing up and were out within the hourwe felt completely harassed and annoyed, ruining our weekend This trip was to see familyand had been great until we were treated like squatters (I get turnaround which is why we verified multiple times -the advertised late check out rate, before planning a leisurely departure) our only other issue is the pool was absolutely freezing and the hot tub was broken and drainedSince I am writing the review, I will add that in as well, but I wouldn’t have Written this for that alone Will I book again?

Staff is very friendly and provide good service The initial look and feel is nice, but the rooms can use an update They lack modern amenities like USB ports, room key activated lighting or even ample number of outlets

Furniture is a bit worn, but are kept respectable Bathroom shows its age and should be remodeled On a positive note, the location is convenient and the sound insulation between rooms is good Your neighbors can’t be heard through the walls
