AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!I checked in on a week stay and the first room they put me in was dirty the door needed to be forced to close completely the window screen was messed up and I had to fix it in order to close the window

If that wasn’t enough, there were 2 roaches that I killed in the first night in the room and I had to kill 11 roaches the second night They moved my room and it was cleaner but still dirty (at least there were no already dead roaches in this one) It took until nearly 10 PM, but the roaches started showing themselves again at this point, and I killed my first one in the SECOND room they put me in (by this point, I kept the lights on to discourage the nocturnal pests, sprayed a diluted mint extract to repel the roaches, and laid out a few gel bait traps that I purchased myself just for some sort of peace of mind)This extended stay hotel is disgusting and I recommend just paying more and staying at a better hotel Not worth the lower nightly/weekly rate at allI would give 0/5 stars if I couldDISGUSTING!!!

This place has completely changed in the past year since there is new management The room’s are dirty even though they say they cleaned it You need to still sweep and clean the bathroom’s

They have cockroaches and they will come out during the day to visit you If you want fresh thinnings or more toilet paper when you run out you have to pay a extra fee to get fresh cleanings and toilet paper that is not included on your bill of paying $400 something dollars a week when you can go to any other motel room and you can get toilet paper everyday and change out your linings

Ian Beckelhimer

Dirty rooms No one is ever at check in or out Had to switch rooms due to blood stains on the sheets that hadn’t been changed

Room that we swapped to also dirty but had to deal with it Customer service is garbage Booked the room on line and have had to deal with them multiple times today All I wanted was sleep and a shower and couldn’t do either

Got a king room expecting it to be of decent size, but it was tiny Could use some updates The television was small

No table to eat at The first day we got there, it was drizzling and they closed the pool for the rest of the day (like 7 hours, after the skies were clear and no storms) Continental breakfast was okay, except they reuse food from the day before Biscuits were hard Omelettes were from the day before and still ice cold from the fridge, I’m sure But the bed was very comfortable Soft sheets and pillows Staff was courteous Good parking Back door access was extremely useful

Carolyn Rudd

This was my first stay at a Hampton Inn I was please with the staffing Reception was great

The house keepers were very pleasant and attentive to our needs The staff in the kitchen were neat and clean, friendly and attentive to our needsI have one complaint Our room had residual hair from the previous visitors in both the bathroom and in the bedroom ares There was also evidence of a pet that was in the room I am a stickler when it comes to cleaning That is a n issue for meWhen we come back next year, I hope that this will not be a concern Hint hint, we will be back

Kevin Becatti

Staff was welcoming and always greeted as we walked by The breakfast was clearly bulk hotel food but was way better than others I’ve had The room we got had a king size bed and was clean

Towards the end of our stay we noticed ants in the room and elevator It was nothing that I felt the need to complain about but only reason for a 4 star The gym was clean and had all the equipment anyone would need I will be back for sure

Our stay was great, the room was very clean & the beds were comfy! The young lady who checked us in was nice & professional, despite having several customers waiting to get checked in! We had to leave super early in the am for a flight, but another lovely young lady there in the morning, said the free full breakfast was prepared & we were able to grab a coffee & a couple of other things on our way out! Next time hopefully we won’t have to rush out! Recommended!

🙂

I had to make a last minute trip on July 7th and found this hotel on my way Getting off the interstate and into the hotel was easier than going through a rest area! I was greeted at the door like I was their most favorite guest and I had never been there before My room was as it was advertised and welcoming

The shower was just what I needed after all my driving and I slept and woke up refreshed and ready to continue on! Breakfast was yummy and more employees made my morning refreshing This hotel is a saved address for me, as I will definitely stay there if ever in this area and needing a rest! Thanks, guys! Well done!

My husband and I are both thoroughly enjoyed our stay The manager was so kind and get the fire pit for even though it was late Breakfast was amazing

It was very quiet and peaceful also spotless which is very important to us We will come again I did leave my electric toothbrush there and I’m hoping it will turn up But that was my fault for leaving it Thanks so much for an enjoyable getaway It was very much needed

John

Nice, comfortable stay in this clean, quiet, and conveniently located hotel The hotel seems recently updated Took the one star because the breakfast was limited with just a couple pre-cooked items, yogurt, cereal, bagels, and oatmeal

Also, the tub faucet in the room was loose and you had to pull the diverter up before opening the water; otherwise half the water would not make it to the shower headStaff was very nice and accommodating The small pool was great for relaxing at the end of the day

We decided late in the evening to stop to rest instead of driving the rest of the way home And we’re glad to find a comfort suites to stay in We were surprised at the smell of the hotel as we walk through but it didn’t bother us enough to report it We were on the first floor, which always means a slightly different experience than higher up but the room was clean we got a good night’s sleep and were able to get on the road refreshed the next morning

In all categories I wouldn’t even give one star Maybe a half star I stayed here for six days and I wouldn’t stay here again! I had to do my laundry

The dryer would not dry my clothes I put my clothes in and waited an hour and they were still wet I put money in a machine to get fabric softener It did not give me the fabric softener I went to the manager of the hotel and he told me he would have to look on Camera first before refunding my $1 That made me furious I do not need to steal a dollar from anybody! I was there on a business trip I told him the dryer didn’t dry my clothes He told me it was just fixed So I had to go to a laundromat It was very uncomfortable and an inconvenience! No one came the entire week to change my bedsheets or give me towels or check on me There was a party outside with tons of people surrounding the hotel I would go outside to smoke and I would have to try to avoid people that were partying, drinking and actually barbecuing right outside the hotel doors on all four sides of the building Their breakfast was not very good It’s the one thing I looked forward to And the eggs were so salty I couldn’t even eat them It was not worth the money staying there and I regret booking this reservation And would not stay there Save your money and go somewhere else!

Ron Villena

Lobby looked nice enough, but everywhere else smelled like “mold” Sheets had weird colored stains and the sinks were clogged The coffee maker in the rooms and rust in it

The price of the room is higher than the quality of effort put into the rooms But breakfast was pretty good If you need a 1 or 2 night stay, this is pretty good I wouldnt stay here again though

Not recommended for families nor elderly people to stay here It was a last minute booking for my birthday weekend I loved everything in NC but this place was the only one that ruined my expectations

I was on room 104, good location overall You will get what you pay for Rude staff (minus the breakfast lady she was awesome), unclean rooms, a lot of humidity, old and stained towels and sheets, smelly pillows, dirty floors About front desk Sam, For the check in they almost cancelled my reservation even tho all the card information was right, he just called me to cancel the room if I don’t get there in a certain time Horrible I was scared of where we were going to stay I was trying to get new towels and pillows, he made me feel like I was going to steel them (we just went to Walmart and got them), also they were knocking at the door at 11:30 for check out (which is at 12) and even tho we were taking out our stuff he came to us asking when we were leaving!? Super rude not bedside manner hotel wise They don’t do room service if you need something you have to walk over there Hotels are supposed to make you feel like home But the price was the best for my last minute booking

Jon Wright

I was apprehensive to stay at this location with all of the bad reviews as of lateI’m glad we stayedIs it the most modern hotel? No

Is it 100% sparkling clean? No, but neither is my living roomWhat it was? Overall clean and comfortable with INCREDIBLY courteous staff – from front desk to grounds and housekeepers, every person we interacted with was always friendly and helpful (and had some pretty good senses of humor too)That will make up for any minor flaws 99 times out of 100 in my bookWe will stay here again on our next visit

Mitchell Everett

For all that is holy, do not stay here I booked two nights in a “non-smoking” room The smell was so bad I could not sleep

Also, they allow homeless personnel to stay in the breezeways of the hotel and they were present during my stay right around the corner of my room I don’t have anything against them, but it added to the uncomfortable feeling of being there The walkways are painted concrete and do not have a non-skid texture on them I almost slipped and fell every time I left the room I also read a review where an elderly woman slipped and injured herself, and ultimately the staff laughed at her when she reported the instance I did not sleep and checked out early due to not being able to sleep with the intense smell of cigarette smoke and cheap air freshener I asked if I would receive any refund for the second night and they replied no because I booked the room through a third party I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone under any circumstances I guarantee you will be better off sleeping in your car

I did not get any photos, we pulled in at 2am or so after almost 7 hours of driving, me and a buddy were headed south to buy a car We headed to breakfast around 0815 Let me tell you that was one of the best hotel breakfast I have had in awhile

The staff was great and keeping everything stocked up to included the bacon The bacon was perfect The breakfast alone started my day off right for the the drive for the next 3 hours Room was fine, would easily stay at this location again The breakfast was what all holiday inn and hampton inn should be striving for, that kitchen crew should be given the kudos they deserve

Anthony Pinto

Clean room, and convenient to the interstate We stopped late to just rest our heads for the night near the end of March 2022 Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good for the cost of the hotel

Rooms were modern and cleanWe would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arose

T CErick

It was okay for one night There was stuff splattered on the walls The ceiling in the bathroom had stuff splattered on it

The big light had bugs in it The shower is so tiny that you can barely stand and it’s very slippery The ledges in the shower are slanted and can’t hold anything The inside of the fridge was disgusting The lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming The beds were comfortable and clean, so like I said, it’s okay for one night

The staff at this Hampton Inn is phenomenal Our reservation was booked on the wrong date, and customer service wouldn’t refund or let us change the date We were going to have to pay full price for another hotel room

The amazing desk clerk, Shara, helped us speak with the customer service agent and even got us a great deal on a room after all that had happened Although the cleanliness of the hotel was subpar, I would come back just for the front desk staff Thank you again to Shara, for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!!!

I booked a block here for our wedding guests and while the hotel/rooms were very nice, the staff was not helpful There was a change in sales manager between the time when we booked the room block vs actual block dates and the front desk staff was extremely rude anytime we had to call, there were issues booking the transportation that was initially included in our contract, and the staff was generally not responsive

Luckily I moved our wedding party to a different hotel that was amazing & got most of our guests to move – the ONLY hitch in our wedding planning was dealing with this hotel

Room(s):- The room was humid Air conditioning struggled to keep the room at the set temperature It fluctuated between warm humid and cool

– The entire carpet had a sticky feeling (possibly from humidity issues) After walking around on the carpet for an hour, my feet were covered in a black substance I had to wash my feet just before going to bed each night- There were additional dark sticky spots on the floor that seemed like someone had spilled sauce on the floor and the floor was never cleaned- Air conditioner had a mild mold scent- Toilet frequently gets hung up and keeps flushing We were able to stop the toilet from continuing to flush each time, but it took us a few minutes to notice that it wasn’t stopping- Beds, entrance, refrigerator, and bathroom were clean- A friend staying in another room found a live roach The front desk attendant assisted with the removalFeatures:- The digital key card only worked on the first day for the room It failed to work the following day as it kept turning red after telling me it was ready to unlock my room door Hilton Customer support informed us that we would have to contact the front desk every time it failed to get a new token The last time I had this issue at a Hampton Inn, I had to get it reset multiple times It appears Hilton has not fixed this, but this is part of my experience at this hotel- The digital key card did not work at any of the other doors like the ice machine or side entrances which had stickers stating to use the digital key card The digital key card would not even acknowledge they existed like it had for my room- The breakfast items were sometimes okay The eggs were the powdered eggs and were often sitting in a pool of water Over the course of the stay, they also had slices of maple sausage, sausage patties, bacon, and breakfast sausage linksStaff:Staff were very friendly and courteous They tried to help us as much as needed Gerald (front desk attendant for most of our stay) assisted us as needed and greeted us every time we passed byHalls/Elevator:The halls and the elevator were very warm and humidFinal points:We chose a room based on specific conditions We needed a large room for walking around due to having an infant We needed space to pace and calm her down We chose to be on the top floor in a corner room away from everyone and the highway to minimize the amount of opportunities that might wake our infant and the opportunities for our infant to wake others The conditions were specific and such a room existed, but the carpet was disgusting We kept our luggage in the entrance area which had plastic or laminated tiles It was more stressful that the room struggled to maintain a consistent temperature The halls on the fourth floor were humid and warm The elevator was humid and warmThis review would have been a one star review if the front staff had the same qualities as the rest of the hotel and featuresI hope this hotel understands they need to actually clean the roomsI voiced my complaints 4 days ago I have yet to be contacted by the hotel manager within 3 days per Hilton’s requirement in their email If you come to stay at a hotel solely to meet the staff, this is your place I would look for other Hilton properties in the area if possible and within your means

DON’T STAY HERE!!! I checked in and within 30 minutes there was a drug deal and bust by cops, dogs in most of the rooms smoking inside and outside Drugs usage in rooms And broken and extremely dirty conditions

My first room had been broken in to and you could open the catch from the hallway They also refused to refund my money Stay at a Hyatt or Hilton if you can Holiday inn is becoming motel 6

Claudiann Atkinson

This is by far thee worse holiday inn that I have ever stayed in; and I’m a diamond elite IHG member The one star is for the staff at the front desk They were amazing

As far as the room goes I will never stay here again If it wasn’t so late I would check out right now Definitely going to ask them to go ahead and check us out later this morning The blinds in my room didn’t work so I had to use the first one to make sure we had pricey, the room overall was not really clean The tub was dirty inside and out The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling I can’t even imagine what my sister’s room looks like downstairs I know that she is at a lost for words at the state of it HIGHLY disappointed

I’ve stayed in quite a few Holiday Inn Express and I would not recommend this location It’s not well maintained I stayed a week for business

It seems as if locals are living there There are always the same people hanging around the inside and outside if the Hotel I couldn’t use the laundry room because if not lights and the foul smell Only ice machine that worked was on first floor

This place is pretty terrible, I work at a hotel in Greensboro NC and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels As far as being the worst I’ve ever stayed in? This one easily takes the cake Internet is awful, doesn’t work half the time, it literally stops working for hours, not just gets slow but doesn’t even work

Corners of room and bathrooms are filthy, it’s disgusting Towels had hairs all over them, and the counters and tables were clearly not cleaned A/C worked decently enough Lamp shades were stained, outlets were stained, hair dryer was disgusting This place is an old dump It would be so much better if they just took the time to clean it up and put a little money into it Front desk area smelled awful, like really awful, not to mention the room spelled terrible too, granted it was a smoking room This place isn’t worth more than $30 a night

Rowena Morehead

Night time drive-up window to check in

Mostly made sense Our key card didn’t work the first time, had to get a replacement We reserved a nonsmoking room, and you could tell by the smell that wasn’t the case Not to mention the plastic bag covering the smoke detector! The window ceiling light didn’t turn on (thankfully all the lamps did) The TV was lacking a remote in the room, and there are a limited number of outlets to charge electronics We had a 2 double beds Room, 4 adults staying, and only 2 sets of towels On the bright side, the bedding was clean and orderly, the parking lot, lawn, and pool area were well lit and well kept, and the free Wi-Fi was easy to access Bathroom was nicely maintained with relatively new pedestal sink and new toilet And next to a restaurant Not bad, some things just felt a little off

Bed bugs! We stayed here, and initially had a good experience My husbands review is the most recent one seen below After returning home, we discovered that the rumors of bed bugs are true

We are now scrambling to eradicate them from our home The owners really need to exterminate! I will say that the customer service was great We were initially happy with our stay

I paid $156, a bit much for what I got Room was clean Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower we’re completely empty

The standard holiday inn breakfast is pretty basic The heat/ac unit in the room wasn’t functional Room was almost 80 degrees, but thermostat was set on 60 and cool and unit was still blowing hot air Does have a guest laundry which was a nice feature

Airborne Trucker

Average at best,3 stars for the semi truck parking Checked in around midnight and the lady seemed to be annoyed with us Stayed on the 3rd floor, which smelled like smoke

The room didn’t smell like smoke thank God! Hotel needs a real good deep cleaning If you want the hot breakfast go before 9am Most items were out at 845 Only way I would stay here again is if I had no other options Semi truck parking parking for about 4 trucks (gravel lot , easy turn around)

Staff was friendly, unfortunately the stay was not great The r room smelled like a wet dog, which was mot likely a dirty ac, BUT during the night there was a kid running up and down the hall and to top it off some one in one of the rooms was vaping which carried to our room and Woke us up It was too strong of an odor to ignore

So we checked out although the did offer to change rooms but we didn’t to take a chance of it happening in another room

It’s fine I guess to a certain extent! But I was using their washing machine and it didn’t work due to the water not being on I tried using the dryer but it took my moneyAnd they wouldn’t give my money back for it

The owner is rich! And you mean to tell me you can’t give my money back SMH prime example the rich taking from the poor! God is real & watching

Decent place to stay Definitely not the worst place I’ve been I will say, the room felt a bit musty and smelled a bit odd, but it wasn’t unmanageable

My friend and I turned the air down and sprayed some perfume Breakfast was also great- lots of optionsMy main issue was the shower… we stayed in room 121 and when I went to take a shower in the morning, there was nasty mold and buildup coming from underneath the walls of the shower as well as the shower head…
