Just stayed at Homes2suites this weekend and had an amazing stay!! The entire place was very clean and the staff were all so nice and helpful no matter who we spoke to The location is perfect because it is close to so many stores and restaurants but yet it somehow still feels very private The breakfast is wonderful and I don’t think we would ever stay anywhere else when we visit Lakeland again

The manager is definitely doing a lot of things right with this place! I have stayed at numerous hotels the past 5 years and this was definitely one of the best stays and at the best rate Thank you!

I loved this hotel The rooms were big and super clean I loved having a full size refrigerator

Our softball team/family stayed here for a local tournament That was 13 families The patio space in front of the hotel was so nice The pool area was full one evening, so we able to be comfortable on the front patio The air conditioning worked well The staff did not seemed bothered by the multiples of young teenagers there There was more than just our team there It was nice they were understanding Great location with tons of food/shopping/entertainment options

Rachel Kimbler Music

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came here from Louisiana trying to relocate and didn’t expect to spend several weeks at a hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly! Especially Zamantha; the girl at the front desk! She was so kind to our family! The room was very clean and contemporary, and the breakfast was exceptional! Thank you Home 2 Suites for making our family feel at home 🤍🏡

Fridge not turned on or not working Soap dispensers were empty in shower Pool looked green and dirty

Fitness center had two barbells only I will say room was clean & Beds were comfortable, however the room was definitely dated The breakfast was okay as far as a standard hotel fare I am a gold member with marriot & I expected better The location is not too far off highway and there is a good selection of food places to eat for your convenience I travel often and I am not sure if I will stay here again I asked to speak to manager but was told he was out? Gave my number but I believe I will be ghosted There are better hotel options on the same road If you like quality avail yourself of them, if you don’t have standards use this hotel

Run down, outdated, no longer own by Marriott (under new ownership and licensed Marriott hotel) Our first room had a musty smell, the shower had mold & mildew in it, and hair in the sink The front desk attendant was very kind and happily moved us into a new room

Ice machine on our floor was broken, freezer in convenience area was also broken, etc… Will never stay here again

Rachel C

Supposed to be pet friendly; however their are ant hills all over their grassy areas I’m part of the Marriott loyalty program and supposed to get late checkout Twice I was denied but they could accommodate if I wanted to book an extra night

Doesn’t make sense other than to get more money out of people I’ve never been denied late checkout before Housekeeping and the front desk clearly don’t communicate because I extended an extra night and housekeeping knocked on my door at checkout to remind me to check out Hallways are super hot and humid where my glasses fogged up the minute I stepped into it When I did leave, no one was at the front desk (this was 7pm or 8pm) I have tried contacting them other ways to get checked out and still have yet to get through

Rooms were nice, clean, and cool Water was hot, but left a bit to be desired as far as pressure (it’s a hotel so that’s understandable )Staff was helpful and personable

Pool area and lake side was calming and fun to relax aroundThe area seems to be nice and close to pop-up necessities like Target, and other super stores along with some specialized storesOverall I had a happy stay and would definitely consider making a return visit for our next vacation

Jesse Yerka

The hotel staff was extremely welcoming The rooms were clean, the hardwood floors were a plus Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water

There was only outdoor seating for the breakfast, so we had to eat in our room because of rain The breakfast staff was extremely nice and helpful The food was made to order which was a bonus Will definitely be staying here again

shelly maddox

Beds were comfortable enough Breakfast was decent We were roomed right next to the housekeeping room and walls are paper thin we kept hearing the door being slammed all day and night

We found a cockroach in the bathroom on our last morning there They only offer cleanups of the room every 3 days Never took trash out of our room unless it was at the 3 day mark They are remodeling so hopefully it gets better Do something about the roaches That’s nasty

A 5 Star experience The property is beautiful and peaceful and the staff persons are terrific, friendly and highly attentive The food was delicious and fresh – and the vegetables were all or mostly from their organic gardens

We went after a trek in the mountains and it was the perfect place to decompress and relax We also had some spa treatments which were terrific I highly recommend

Milly Mustard

My expectations were exceeded beyond my wildest dreams If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life and find your peace, quietness your soul and rejuvenate then this is the place to do it The food was good however I must say that the Nepalese dinner was particularly exceptional! The staff were peaceful and kind and it felt like our comfort was of utmost importance to them

We fell ill during our stay and we were sent a doctor, sent homemade soup (all at no extra charge) We attended a beautiful guided meditation in the meditation hall, it was phenomenal! The estate is full of incredible surprises, you have to see it for yourself I won’t share too much and ruin the surprise Our room was perfect with a private rooftop terrace and stunning view of the mountains A place I’ll never forget

There is plenty of charm to this hotel and a real taste of “old Florida” And the views of Lake Dora are fantastic from the InnIf you’re looking for modern amenities though in your room, like a microwave or mini fridge, a nice-sized TV or even an enclosed toilet tank (instead of exposed plumbing) to come standard, you’ll need to manage your expectations

The most modern thing in the room was the super quiet, super cooling A/COverall we enjoyed our stay The serving staff at The Beauclerc and Tremain’s Tavern were excellent and the food was great Seriously, portions were big, very fairly priced and even the salmon we had was perfectly cooked And you will not find a better location within walking distance for all that the historic downtown district has to offerAreas for improvement:- We requested a mini fridge by phone days ahead of time only to find no note for it in our reservation I suppose we saved the $5/day charge which seems a little nickle-and-dime like in the first place, but the whole thing was handled poorly by the front desk- The mildew around the door frame inside the closet was just plain gross and needs work- The pool bar was not open due to staffing shortages Would have enjoyed that- Trying to book a boat tour through the hotel website needs even more in your face explanations that it means nothing unless you call the boat tour operator directly to confirm Really, why bother to have it on the site otherwise

Gretchen Bennett

Our room facing the lake was clean and very welcoming! The staff were very attentive and happily greeted you! The piano playing superb! My only complaint was 2 days in a row (and we were the some of the first guests) at lunch and dinner the next night they were out of a certain soup! Dinner we ordered the Brie with crackers and she came out with the Brie and dinner rolls saying that they didn’t have any crackers! We will been coming back as the beauty of this old place in and out are exquisite! But I will be bring my own crackers!❤️😂

Kristy Burns

I usually give good reviews The two stars is for the staff who have been kind My room is old, gross and overpriced

Don’t walk around barefoot Your feet will be dirty and sticky The lock on the door doesn’t work and neither does the toilet flush well I am next to some noisy passage at the top of the stairs I am currently being forced to hear the worst wedding DJ music permeate the walls At what point do we move past Sir Mix A Lot’s “ I Like Big Butts” and “Celebrate Good Times”? So, if you are coming for a wedding, make sure to hit up the bar so the room doesn’t offend at the end of the night and DO NOT CRASH ON YOUR FRIENDS FLOOR! Ew! If you are not coming for a wedding, there are some bed and breakfast places in the area that I am sure are quieter, cleaner, and provide more for your money It does get quiet after 10pm and the mattress was soft but judging the bedding and flooring, who knows how old the mattress may be I try not to think about it The grounds are nice and I did not try the food so I have nothing to offer on that score

Wonderful oasis in the middle of Kathmandu This is a local hotel with beautiful dark wood features, colonial style, a manicured garden with gorgeous flowers and a lovely pool All the staff were so incredibly welcoming and friendly

Nothing was too much trouble We had dinner twice in the restaurant (recommend the Nepali thali) The Family Room was spacious and had 2 queen size beds and a room safe If you are looking for a character boutique hotel, this is the place for you

Madhu Bannikuppe Nagaraj

We stayed with family for 2 nights for our Kathmandu city sightseeing Ambience of the hotel, locality, aesthetic appeal are on the top However, once we checked into our rooms, we found it to be claustrophobic with a little window hardly reachable

Don’t be surprised if one feels claustrophobicBathroom is very small in size for a 4 star hotel!Coming to dining experience on the first morning we were served to a wide choices of breakfast It was a sheer let down on the second morning as we had to contend ourselves to a limited menu leaving us totally disappointedDinner serving quantity may hardly fill your stomach for the overpriced dishesService of the staff left us bewildered with their attitude and may be reluctance to treat guests with hospitalityParting shot! Don’t go by the glitter and fame!

Amity K

All rooms are ‘no smoking room’ No exhaust in washrooms That is understandable as this is an old building

Ample of parking space Situated very close to the heart of Kathmandu Lazimpat is very close so evenings can be real niceThere are few other good properties nearby with new construction design

This place ended up being great for our family of 4 (including 2 toddlers) We booked the 2 bedroom It was great to be able to find an affordable option on the island

The room was clean and roomy Loved having the in room washer and dryer Had a nice lanai to hangout in the morning and evenings Pool was warm and great for the kids 5 min drive or less to several great beaches and restaurants Staff was very friendly Will definitely recommend and book again if we visit Marco Island again

John Hurley

DisappointingIf you want to feel like a deer on a lonesome highway with a pair of high beams coming at you- this is your place The light was so brigh outside of the bedroom window that it lit up the room with the blinds drawn

Even if the blinds were not broken there would have been no way to block out the light This could be easily fixed by adding some black out curtains or turning the rope light off that goes along the whole walkway

Toya Does It All

While it was only a three-star hotel, the accommodations were extremely luxurious I mean the room was just spoiling youBut good left a bit to be desired

The breakfast buffet was decent, nothing to write home about But for the price one would expect much better by way of food This is a consistent weakness of Hampton Inn The bed was exquisitely comfortable though, and the furniture was really nice, and everything was clean and well maintained I recommend it

Hayley Johnson

This is the only location I prefer to go to for my weekend getaways And every time I go, I’m always greeted by Kyle and another amazing employee at the front desk Such positive and kind people

This hotel is just a show which looks good from outside and is extremely bad from the inside The staff on the reception is uneducated For the food they send the people outside as they don’t have food facility in their own hotel

In the rooms the windows are broken and the shawer doesn’t function properly There is no hygiene in the facility I request all the readers to cut this hotel from your list as this is just vastage of money and time

Not what I expectedWhile the front desk staff are very sweet & helpful and that’s very much appreciated, this hotel is in desperate need of refurbishmentThe first room we were given was extremely dirty

Dirt all over the floor and carpet, stains on the counters in the kitchen and bathroom (and on the tv), etcThe second room while a little better, was far from clean There were dirty spots on the walls and in the kitchen The couch had several strands of hair, as well as lots of dirt on it Walking barefoot on the carpet produced dirty and black feet Ew!The worst was the pull out mattress Stains all over itI asked for clean sheets and received torn yellow ones

Steven Dellorto

Outstanding! Being a pet friendly facility I was wondering how clean the rooms would be, they were immaculate!Beautiful facility, we will be using them again To you pet owners, clean up after your pet! You are not special, clean it up! I had to clean two pair of shoesNot the hotels fault, just selfish lazy pet owners
