Nick was great checking us in My daughter, baby and I checked into a nice roomy King handicap room facing the parking lot We were there to relax

We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and walk on the beach Then at 2:13 am there were 2 men looking at cars in parking lot A couple fighting in their room until 6am Tried calling front desk 3 times, no security and the reservation person said to go up to their room and knock on the door The people were screaming the “f” word and throwing stuffno way was I going to put myself in danger So no sleep that night In the morning I told front desk Seems it happened all the time because no one seemed really concerned Still charged full price and not sure if anyone checked on that room We were so excited to finally stay at the resort I think we will stay down the street and drive to the casino and restaurant the next visit

Robert Pfander

I had visited before and recently stayed in the area to go to the casino for the weekend I really like this casino They’ve got great views outside the casino, their nearby eatery was delicious and had amazing views, and their nearby hotel also had killer views (I did not stay at their hotel)

Most important – no smoking indoors! This made for a very clean and pleasant gambling experience The employees seemed happy and were clean and friendlyI didn’t win, but I still had an enjoyable time and will definitely return in the future

Rick Snow

I’m probably the last person to rate a casino, I don’t gamble When going in you immediately see swarms of people everywhere giving you a Vegas vibe, but it’s far from that The staff were helpful, the casino is clean, and there is a separate smoking area upstairs so it’s not full of cigarette smoke

The place is pretty dated (could use some paint and upgrades) The games are what you would normally see at any large casino, so in that respect if your looking to win your millions you can try your luck in a variety of ways The place is good to see once

My wife’s reserved this room 3 months in advance and specifically requested a balcony which she was told we had in our room When we got to our room there was no balcony There was hair and a visible water line in the bathtub

The windows were dirty The gas stove we could not turn down so we roasted the entire first night The next day I turned off the gas to the stove so that we can at least have one good night My wife and I were meeting our kids who had separate hotel rooms that they paid a lot less for and they had a balcony and a clean room When we called and complained about our accommodations we were told sorry for the misunderstanding and operate 10% discount on our next visit Which by the way will never happen This was our first vacation in over 10 years And it was completely ruined by the management unwillingness to honor the accommodations that they said they would deliver Definitely not worth the money

Jamie Bergman

I made a reservation, they ended up switching ownership, my reservation never got switched when I was quoted and had my confirmation number in hand and then said couldn’t find it Then tried to tell me that it was $350+ more than what my reservation was if they were to “accommodate my two night stay” If a company is going to switch to different owners, they should at least honor the reservations that were already made, same dates and keep the same price

They told me they would get back to me, never did and gave up hope Very disappointed because it looked like a great place to get away for a bit

We spent our honeymoon weekend, or “mini-moon,” at The Nantucket Inn We stayed in suite #2, which included a fabulous private hot tub outside on the ocean-front deck The hot tub was absolutely fantastic

You could sit back, and the edge of the hot tub looked like it was right against the ocean waves The suite was beautiful and spacious We were pleased to have a full-size refrigerator and microwave, plus a small coffee makerThere were many issues with communication, however Meredith Lodging took over managing this property between the time we made the reservation and the date of our stay The previous management company offered lovely honeymoon options like champagne, rose petals, and chocolates I contacted Meredith Lodging after they took over to ask if they offered anything similar I was willing to pay extra to make it special Their response was abrupt and uninspiring “No, we don’t do anything like that We could put a bottle of wine in the room if you want” Not exactly enthusiastic, but I thanked them and said we would appreciate that Upon check-in, there was no bottle of wine, so apparently they forgot Issues continued from there The hot tub was pad-locked with no instructions anywhere for how to unlock it We called; no answer on the phone, so we left a voicemail, sent a text, and sent an email No response, so we called again Finally, we were told there was a numeric code for the pad-lock I checked my “welcome text” but found no code The representative said it was probably emailed to me I searched through the many emails I received from Meredith Lodging, as well as the “guest portal,” but there was no hot tub code They sent the code to me by text, and we were able to unlock the hot tub, but this was not a pleasant start to our weekend Then there were annoying things like a coffee pot in the room but no coffee, so we had to go to the grocery store in the morning to buy coffee grounds It’s fine to not provide coffee, but it should be clearly communicated If you advertise a kitchenette with coffee maker, many guests will mistakenly understand this to mean that coffee will be provided There were wine glasses and coffee mugs but no other dishes or utensils, except paper bowls and plastic utensils which previous guests left behind, fortunately for us When we needed the Wi-Fi password, again, we had to call It was nowhere in the room, nowhere in the correspondence from Meredith Lodging, and nowhere that I could find in the “guest portal” Finally, the jetted bathtub in our bathroom did not appear to work We could use the shower, but we could not figure out how to fill the bathtub I called (again), and the only way they could help was to send a maintenance workerOverall, communication was by far my biggest issue with our stay We were only there two nights but had to call for assistance multiple times both days The last thing you want on your honeymoon is constantly talking to staff members or having maintenance come to your room We were offered things that we never received, and were unable to use all the amenities The private, ocean-front hot tub saved our weekend, but I think Meredith Lodging has room for improvement in managing this property

Loved this hotel!! We had such a great stay here during our first trip to the OR coast The staff were so kind, the rooms were adorable, clean, and had an amazing view right on the beach The restaurant was amazing, our meals were so delicious and quick turnaround after ordering

The pool was out of order so they gave us a discount and one of the staff even offered my toddler a cute beach supply bucket and shovel kit for free So kind I have nothing bad to say about this place, will definitely recommend to others and hope to come back one day

Tina Giambanco

Very nice room with fireplace and comfy beds located right along the beach They were doing a bit of renovating, yet we didn’t experience any inconvenient banging or rerouting Very fair prices as well and located right near an amazing restaurant called Kylo’s

Truly enjoyed both location, quietness if the hotel and ease of beach walk to get the day started along with a jacuzzi soak Gym wasn’t open in time for morning use (doesn’t open until 10am) which was a disappointment, yet nothing that would stop us from booking again

Brittney Lee

Beautiful room, view and premises We had a wonderful time Surftides is a very family friendly hotel

The pool and hot tub was fantastic They also have a game room that you can play ping pong!!! They have a beautiful bonfire area and offer s’mores kits The only down side to this room was the beds, they were extremely hard and loud making them uncomfortable to sleep I enjoyed this stay so much I recommend it to anyone looking to stay for one night The beds are too uncomfortable for longer The Mist restaurant had a fancy menu but I would not recommended it for families

Had a nice birthday weekend here last summer, but unfortunately won’t be staying here againThe rate was a little high, but worth it figuring the busy-season, awesome beach access and new renovations Could use a dining table/chairs and more practical bathroom storage, but enjoyed the modern updates like the smart TV that you can cast streaming apps to

Movie night! The main reason I gave a 3-star rating is due to payment transaction issues BEWARE! My friend wanted to pay her portion of the bill at check-out, and the clerk verified that the remaining balance would be charged to my card on file She was having difficulty printing out the final bill and asked if it could be emailed I agreed since there was a long line behind us I never got the email, and it turned out that only my card was applied to the bill I was told by management that even with my friends name, last four digits, amount and date, the transaction wasn’t in their records So I emailed her a screenshot of my friend’s card charge, but never got a response or call back Still trying to get this solved and it’s ridiculous that a hotel can charge a card for an INVISIBLE room!

Caitlin Nail

We stayed in the one room suite with our 3 young children and were super impressed The hotel is very family friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for They let us check in early which we really appreciated

We also loved the beach access This is not a super fancy hotel, but is clean and is perfect for a family We will stay here again!

Julie Moore

The view and the room were amazing! We had an ocean front room with a balcony and soaker tub for 2 nights We loved that we found fresh robes in the closet! The tub was squeaky clean and very relaxing Loved that the TV swiveled towards the tub

The walk down to the beach is just a couple of stairs which is nice! The bed and pillows were comfortable Everything was clean and the front desk staff were friendly The section of the hotel we stayed in is brand new and they are doing a little bit of construction here and there in the surrounding area, but it did not affect our stay negatively The pool was nice and warm, the hot tub was clean and the sauna was such a nice touch It was slightly inconvenient to have to walk to the next building for pool access, but we had such a great time it didnt matter in the end There are lots of places to eat nearby We cannot wait to come back!!

First stay was August 2021 and really loved it Then I had my family stay shortly after, unfortunately few issues in one room out of the three, but front desk staff was amazing, understanding, and the issue was resolved to the best of the FD ability at the timeWas so in love with the location and accommodations that we went back again August 2022

We love staying here for our anniversaryI’ve recommended this place to fellow teachers and will definitely be going back next year

will kunz

Our stay at the Starfish was awesome We had a room with a partial view and an in-room tub right next to the window in the bedroom that was amazing The chocolates on the pillow, ducky on our towels, and fireplace were great touches, and even though you had to hang out the window to see it, the ocean view was still beautiful

The hotel warns you that you don’t get a full ocean view when you check out which is also cool My wife and I had a very romantic weekend, and I’m glad she picked this place!!

Silina Schmieder

Its a great location, and view The jacuzzi tub was amazing! After a couple hours there, we began to unpack and put things away

That’s when we started to notice the absolute filth! I’m pretty sure the room was never cleaned, let alone even vacuumed 🤢 Food under the couch, dust and prints of some sort on the ottoman Food completely smeared on the fronts of drawers, hair on the couch and bed sheets Hardly slept due to no air conditioning and extremely firm mattress Completely disappointing

Me and my boyfriend have stayed at this hotel twice The first time was in a jacuzzi room, and wow it was beautiful The room was super clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable

The jacuzzi was fantastic The second time we had a room all the way on the third floor It was the exact same standards as the jacuzzi room I don’t have a single complaint about the rooms or the staff They’ve all been very kind and helpful A few days ago I even accidentally booked our next stay on the wrong days I called in the hotel and changing the days was so easy, the lady who answered the phone was professional and helpful I got an email confirmation before we even got off the phone with the correct dates Considering the competition around them it’s a fantastic deal This is our go to spot for vacations!

Ashlynne Mason

Easily my favorite place to stay on the coast is Sailor Jack’s! Ive stayed here many times and love it even more each time The rooms are very comfortable to be in with the best view there is We always try to get the spa room, their tubs are fabulously comfortable

Every room I have ever had has been clean, updated, and certainly an outstanding value Thank you Sailor Jacks!

Keely Johnson

Rooms are beautiful A but dusty this visit, and the sliding glass, on the 1st floor, has finger and hand prints Aside of those minor inconsistencies, this place is my fave

The front desk gal is rad Super fun and accommodatingThey have a gorgeous designated smoking area for those who partakeYou won’t be disappointed here!

We loved our stay here Staff were welcoming, and you can’t beat the location right on the beach The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean

There’s breakfast options in the morning; one of our kids has allergies so options were limited for him The room had a kitchenette though so we just bought things at the store and made his ownThe only con was the bathroom ceiling needs some repair, but it didn’t affect our stay/use of the bathroom at allWe would definitely stay again!

Gaby Buscher

Awesome location to spend a couple of days The rooms were small but clean and comfortable We had a room on the first level (no elevator down from the front desk)

Outdoor chairs were provided The breakfast was basic and we were asked to take it to our rooms because the lounge area could not accommodate multiple families I would definitely go back here again

Alyssa Ford

My boyfriend and I came down to the Oregon coast for a 3-4 day trip, from Washington Every night we stayed in a different location I chose this hotel and it did not disappoint! The room was a little small but we didn’t mind, it was perfect for just us 2

The best part was the patio and view It was so relaxing and beautifulThere was another group checking in as we were and I got a little nervous It was a birthday group and they were in the room right next to us I was worried they were going to be loud, but I didn’t hear one peep all night! – and slept great! We will definitely be staying here again!Oh and also, very clean room!

Clean, comfortable, fantastic locations on the rock’s edge, close proximity to view the numerouswhales, cozy room, great ocean side fire pit with wood on deck, yummy cinnamon rolls, hugh walk-in double shower, great owners/hostess, comfortable chairs near windows to spend hours and hours viewing the ocean, great place to reflect, rest, and reconnect with your loved one We loved it but needed more than 3 night’s stay God blessed us with this quaint place to enjoy

Thank you so much for your great hospitality!

Patricia Wight

We spent three nights at Whale’s Rendezvous had a delightful time Dian and Joe are very thoughtful and provided everything we needed and more The suite is comfortable and beautifully decorated with an amazing view

The location and suite both exceeded our expectations We were able to walk to great restaurants, the Whale Center and the harbor There was “weather” on one of our days and that only enhanced our experience We look forward to a longer stay on and a whale-watching outing on our next trip to Oregon Many thanks to Dian and Joe for being such generous hosts

Edward Simpson

We had an absolute blast staying here Dian and Joe are great hosts, and were soooooo welcoming The views are amazing, and the advertisements for the place don’t do it justice

We loved seeing the whales from our private deck and even from inside while sitting in the living room area We even got a couple visits from a family of raccoons who wanted to see what we were up to The surrounding area of restaurants and shops were fun to visit, and Joe and Dian were able to give us several recommendations of where to get the best meals and other services Overall, we would absolutely recommend the Whales Rendezvous as a perfect getaway for a couple looking to spend some time together

Very pleased with the room and the location We were on the 4th floor and had an excellent view of the ocean We had a fireplace and a huge, comfortable bed

Dog friendly hotel They provide this wonderful basket of goodies for your dog, a couple of towels, sheets, food and water bowls, treats, etc You have access to the beach by walking across and small parking lot A short walk as well to an excellent restaurant as well The staff were friendly and the check-in/out process very simple Would absolutely stay again

Yost KK

We love staying at this property and have visited several times It’s a unique boutique hotel Breakfast on a tray is delivered to your door

The location is right on the ocean and all rooms are facing the ocean The higher floor the better for the view The staff is SO accommodating and wonderful They used to offer a happy hour with complimentary wine and since COVID have not offered it Hopefully they will bring that back soon This is our go to when we visit Lincoln City from Canada

Michele B.

Reserved a last-minute July 4th weekend trip and was pleasantly surprised by the Shearwater Inn Host was friendly to everyone – even spent a little bit of extra time with the elderly to make sure they were taken care of (this is big in my book) We didn’t expect at-your-door breakfast service, so that was another plus! The room was clean and we did have an ocean view – I think most rooms do

Our encounter with the housekeeper was friendly and she was helpful Only con is that parking is a bit tight If you have big rigs, please park in the lot below

Highly recommend staying at this place Great staff and great rooms that are very nice and the room was very clean! Fire pits are exceptional! Breakfast was good as wellWe brought our small well behaved dogs and had a great time! Some of the other dogs staying at the hotel were obnoxious and acted like barking rats! I could have tossed a couple off the beach cliff for the seagulls

Overall a great place and will definitely return!

Kozmo617

I was very pleased with this establishment I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and had many hits or misses This place was a hit

The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and well maintained The rates weren’t bad and made it easy to choose this place over the many other in the area The room I got ruled and being able to head out to the fire with a drink by the ocean was the cherry on top Plus I was able to walk to a restaurant or two which made life easier I’ll be back soon

Amber

First time staying here and all around great place to stay! What a fantastically refreshing experience! The front desk was super friendly and efficient Our room & the grounds were impeccable This Inn allows all dogs (2max no size limit) and does a great job of lining out the dog rules in a way that is incredibly clear

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in the whirlpool suite for our 4 year anniversary The view was beautiful, staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very clean, the bath is huge, and the bed is crazy comfortable! This room also had a larger fridge than expected and the kitchenette was fully stocked with all essentials for a couple including dish ware Bonus points was that it was very quiet

The view overlooking the parking lot, beach & bay was awesome as we love people watching Beach access was so close and easy to get down to The location is at the south end of Lincoln city which we really enjoyed The anniversary package was adorable and a great touch We truly loved our stay as it felt incredibly homey and warm We will be returning as it’s our new favorite hotel

Jan Croeni

My Mother (94 y/o) and I stayed at the Looking Glass Inn on March 6-8, 2022 This is not the first time we’ve stayed and every time it is like a private oasis at a very busy part of the coast We reserved a double queen studio and it was HUGE, beautifully decorated and obviously recently redone

Elegantly simple, comfy beds, fridge, micro, full-sized coffee maker–all the amenities one needs View was to die for overlooking the point where the Siletz River joins the Pacific Birds, sea lions, agates, shells and incredible driftwood everywhere Excellent crabbing and fishing from the shore, and beautiful, protected safe swimming areas for the entire family Everything just steps from Looking Glass Inn (Mo’s Seafood/Clam Chowder across the street and old-fashioned candy store/diner next door) Incredible prices, lower than most of Lincoln City for one of the nicest pieces of heaven on the central Oregon Coast 8 miles from Depot Bay and resident Gray Whale pods; few more miles to Newport It is and will always be our choice when staying at the coast The friendliest and most helpful staff, beautiful buffet breakfast comes with the stay

Cute, quaint, clean, and affordable! We called and booked last second, got the last available room, and are so happy to have stumbled upon this great little motel It feels homey and has a lot of personal touches It’s well stocked and very cutely decorated

Most importantly, the bed is comfortable! The customer service was excellent and communication is great with email instructions and text We’re very impressed and will be back when we’re in the area next!

We were in the end unit #7 which was the furthest from the road & shared one wall Love the assigned parking & great shower pressure Popcorn, coffee & tea provided along with all dishes you would need to have a meal- nice touch for a unit this size

Clean & excellent communication, easy check in/out We were pleasantly surprised & would return Easy walk into everything town offers

When I arrived I was concerned but I actually felt as though I had walked into a 5 star hotel Lots of extra touches that you would probably not find in a 5 star hotel Complete shaving kit (w/ bandages), covers for bed for dog, charging station for cell and plug-ins, coffee maker and tea pot, dishes and silverware, and probably more that I can’t remember

Definitely a good choice for an excellent place to stay in Depoe Bay

We stayed in the one room suite with our 3 young children and were super impressed The hotel is very family friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for They let us check in early which we really appreciated

We also loved the beach access This is not a super fancy hotel, but is clean and is perfect for a family We will stay here again!

This is my second stay and it is just as wonderful as the first The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and service oriented The rooms are clean, smell good, and are well appointed

The breakfast buffet is well stocked with yummy and healthy choices There is a swimming pool and hot tub on site The grounds are beautifully landscaped The only negative about this preferred hotel is the parking The lot is large but the spaces are tightly packed with no room for oversize vehicles Arrive early, park well, and walk to the beach (only 8 minutes by foot) You will enjoy your stay

Came here for our first ever getaway and was definitely satisfied with our stay and plan to visit again Got a king suite with jetted tub and the tub did NOT disappoint It was huge

Staff were friendly We were fortunate enough to be right next to the laundry room after discovering I had sat in something less than plesent while we had been out earlier Had to get change and soap from the front desk and they were happy to help The staff and the perfect room totally helped us get a much needed, relaxing vacation for the first time since our son was born 12 years ago Thank you for all your help Cant wait to stay again

Roland Allen

We booked a King Suite since there were two of us, and that gave each of us privacy The room was on the second floor, yet we didn’t hear a peep from any of our neighbors – either upstairs of next door Both of us enjoyed being able to fully open our windows because the fresh coastal air was refreshing

This was my first visit to Lincoln City It was absolutely delightful
