I usually stay in Holiday Inn Expresses and candle wood suites for work I have stayed here multiple times and it’s the same every time One washer and dryer for the hotel which you have to pay for, sandpaper towels in the bathrooms, request room cleanings that don’t happen, management seems to be lacking

Only will stay here again if my employer books the stay cause everywhere else is booked The only good thing about this hotel is the hot tub and that it’s next door to Walmart Which you need because the “pantry / store” is under stocked

The rooms definitely have been neglected as far as maintenance and deep cleaning is concernedStaff was niceThe breakfast was good

Wifi, spotty and definitely not fast/reliable enough for a traveling professional

So to begin with the people that work here will take care of you and do so with a smile, but the front desk is unattended a lot for some reason Beyond that my stay here has been great Rooms are comfortable and clean

There is a bar downstairs that serves some pretty good food A nice pool and decent fitness center to go along with everything else

Beds are comfortable, rooms are in decent shape We know this from a previous stay We are currently sitting in the lobby of the hotel, waiting for our room to be cleaned so we can check in

Check in time is posted as being 3:00pm It is currently 6:00pm and we are still waiting We stay in Hobbs relatively often to visit family, and I believe this will be our last stay Not being able to check in for more than three hours past the time we began to pay for the room isn’t worth a decent mattressUpdate- I added a star The front desk was polite and she was trying very hard to correct the situation I understand being short staffed can be an issue Better communication letting us know beforehand would have gone a long way in not impacting our plans

Even if Covid was not behind us, even if Hilton were trying to single-handedly save the world – not servicing your room each day is simply appalling Thinking that I was possibly speaking a foreign language, which I appreciate Scottish is, I did manage to establish you had to stay 5 nights before they would clean your room Quite seriously I would never use this hotel again, and to top it the same-day laundry service is guess what – not same day

Would definitely recommend you book somewhere else or offer to club together with the rest of the guests and hire some house keeping staff

NO CAMERAS ON THE PARKING AT THIS PLACE!!!!Love the Hilton franchise Diamond member, BUT I will not be staying at this hotel againOlder facility, showing its age

Oh I almost forgot to mention, someone broke into my truck (by breaking both of the passenger windows out) Now I’d almost bet your thinking, “I thought someone would have heard then break two windows”?But no one did or was a bit nervous to say anything The police were called and I asked if they could pull the security camera footage and possibly get a lead?OH, BUT WAIT THEY HAVE NO SECURITY CAMERAS AT THIS HOTELSo park here with your tools and valuables at your very own risk because they must be saving money to fill the swimming pool up with water after three years of no poolThe local police reports imply a couple of times a month they are called out here Got everything out of my truck to the tune of roughly $20K of very specialized toolsDO NOT STAY HEREUpdate: Spoke with a construction crew today, said they too stated here They also moved when they had been broken into TWICE in three weeks Said they know the police officers by name nowSeem handy that they don’t have cameras, huh???

I walked in noon but was told that no rooms were ready yet So, I asked to sit in the lobby until mine was clean Of the many tables in the lobby/dining room, not one was clean: dried syrup, crusty eggs, etc

I went to lobby restroom to get a few paper towels to clean a table off (since the front desk person took off) The bathroom was gross, and there was no soap in the dispenser I grabbed some towels and was going to wet it with hand sanitizer Nope, the lobby dispenser was emptyI left

This stay I was here 11 nights A few days ago I extended my room Well the last night, I got in from work and my key didn’t work

No problem Walked in and told her my key wasn’t working She proceeded to tell me they were overbooked and I was suppose to check out this morning I said well I came in and extended my room… needless to say the front desk people at this hotel are the rudest I was staying at this hotel at least 1 night a month but won’t be back I would rather pay more and have my room cleaned more then once in my 11 day stay The air conditioning was terrible, and the “gym” has equipment that doesn’t work The treadmill starts and you can increase speed but it will not decrease Trash all over the hallways says it all If you can book elsewhere do it cause this place is not recommended by me

Was passing through Hobbs while moving The staff was very friendly and helpful Was kinda worried about the room because of how low the price was

But was pleasantly surprised with how tidy and clean everything was The rooms were much bigger than most hotels I’ve been too I even had 4 people 2 adults, 2 children and 2 pets in the room with us and still had lots of room The breakfast was amazing and unique Over all great stay, highly recommend for fast, great service, first rate breakfast, and a low price

One of the cleanest and most affordable hotels I have ever stayed in Front desk lady was very nice The bed was so comfy

The plants inside were amazing and well taken care of Big bathroom in the room The owner was really nice, too I wanted a little more from the breakfast but not a big deal considering how nice everything else is Update May 2022: Stayed here again and it’s still lovely!

Safety: Hotel and room felt safe Deadbolt and latch lock on room door Security cameras in hallway at entry points at least

Not sure about outside security cameras I was able to park next to my window Parking lot is very well lit at night so hopefully deters thieves Safe area near Walmart and all of the Restaurants in HobbsRoom: 1st off, Hobbs in an oilfield boomtown so if you are expecting the Ritz, you will be disappointed It does feel like an updated older hotel, but room felt really clean I didn’t see mold in the bathtub or anywhere else Refrigerator and microwave were spotless, sink was clean A little wear and tear on the room furniture around the edges but nothing in the room makes your skin crawl As far as room and bed goes, they both felt nice and clean I’m the type of person to pull the covers back to check and spray with lysol if that gives any credit to my reviewInternet: Outstanding internet in the room I was able to stream while comfortably day trading from my computer (data heavy) without any hiccups I was very impressed and the room gives a spacious desk with a fairly comfortable chair Also was able to video chat with wife while streaming a tv show with no issuesBed: Firmer than I like to be honest but it was fine to sleep onBreakfast: It has a nice looking breakfast area, but I didn’t eat there so I can’t say regarding the qualityAll-in-All: It’s a fantastic hotel for the price especially if you are just passing through

Amanda Marling

My stay was two nights The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean I chose to stay there with my family because of the amenities the hotel provided

If you are going to stay here the game room that is shown in the pictures when booking was out of order! The room where the pool table and foosball are kept is at 89 degrees so it’s so hot in there The pool table out of order and each table costs a dollar for you to play if they were working The pool heater did not work so the pool was freezing! The pool hours are until 10 on weekends and while my kids were swimming the lights shut off at 9:30pm The front desk clerk said there was nothing she could do to turn them back on Breakfast on weekends ends at 9:30am but the workers will start packing everything up fifteen minutes before it closes If none of those things matter to you for your next stay then it will be a great stay for you The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious

Good hotel but staff is a little on the slow side We arrived around 9 pm to check-in and was greeted by an empty front desk with a sign saying to use courtesy phone; which I did

After 15 minutes and 3 separate tries on said courtesy phone spaced 5 minutes apart, front desk gal showed up I used Expedia to book the room and she tried charging me again and charged for parking when the Expedia site lists it as free We also booked this particular hotel for its pool/hot tub When we inquired about the location of the hot tub, we were told it is out of service Went to get ice from the ice machine and it was pouring water out onto the floorI’ve never been let down by a Marriott in the past and this one wasn’t a total let down as they have nice rooms and a great continental breakfast, but I think the staff could use a round of customer service training and the property itself could be kept up betterOverall was a good stay and the people here were friendly

Brandi Sparks

Horrible customer service, the manager Cynthia she’s never anywhere to be found I have tried to get in touch with her multiple times an the representatives never know when she will be in, left a phone number for her to return a call Never received a call back

If your planning on staying you might definitely research the cancellation policy that’s strictly enforced Will never stay with Marriott again
