Amazing hotel Incredible staff Angel, Jonathan and the whole team took care of everything during my multi-week stay here

They were the friendliest, most positive, helpful group The hotel itself is the cleanest and quietest hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the US The staff seems to place a particular emphasis on customer service, cleanliness, and ensuring a quiet space I would stay here again anytime If I could give the hotel team six stars I would!

The overall service at the property exceeded my expectations Eric, is an asset to this property and understands what it takes to leave a lasting impression on a guest Eric paid attention to detail and anticipated my needs by providing extra blankets, pillows, and a roll away bed in the suite prior to my arrival

I arrived with 4 exhausted teenage boys who traveled and competed in a basketball championship Check In was fast and there was no wait to be checked in Everything was prepared for us when we arrived, the room was large and clean, the roll Away bed was turned down and prepared for our late arrival the beds were both comfortable The property was spotless, Inside and out with plenty of parking the area felt very safe, and secure The buffet style Breakfast was great, offering healthy and quick options for families on the go, or a chef to prepare the breakfast of your choice, which is complimentary Eric went out of his way multiple times to ensure We had a perfect stay and he is a great example of what exceptional hospitality looks like

Belinda Tribble

Great stay for business trip Loved the idea of having drink tickets This was a big plus with my group

Nice way to come to our home away from home after a long day of working Eric’s big smile and sweet welcome back was nice as well We will be back in a few weeks and looking forward to another good nights sleep in the comfortable bed Also, room temp was kept nice and cold :} thank you, see ya soon > Tribble

The first Embassy Suites I’ve visited that wasn’t actually a suite It was a single, medium size, room It had a large TV and entertainment center that the used to slightly partition it, but still a single room

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and well stocked The drink tickets were great Parking was not free, but when my uber dropped me off, the arms were up And it looked like an ample size parking lot I didn’t eat breakfast, but based on other reviews it’s tasty

Conveniently located, the Residence Inn by Marriott Tysons delivers on expectations My only issue was that they wanted to charge $8 for a 125 ounce bag of beef jerky

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very functional It’s perfect as a shorter-term residence hotel My room was quiet and everything worked Good breakfast in the morning and friendly and helpful staff Will definitely stay here again when I’m next in the area

Lanayr Price

I stayed a this location week before last and again this week Each time I asked for later check out Last week now problem but this week then rules change The representative guaranteed me late check-out by 2 the lady at the front desk kept ringing the phone with the cleaning lady banging on the door at 12pm I called the front desk with a rude and unprofessional Clerk then was told I need to leave the room by 12:30 I told the Clerk I was calling there Corporate Office then she said you can stay until 1 pm

Corporate Office was notified still waiting for someone to call me back THE MIXED INFO IS A BIG PROBLEM WHEN YOU’RE SPENDING MONEY NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS

Debb Haley

We had a plumbing issue in our suite and asked to be moved instead of waiting for a repair We were moved to another room quickly and appreciated the efficiency with how this was handled The breakfast buffet was great the one morning we woke up in time to get to it

If possible a shut down time of 10am instead of the 9am current time would be better for those of us on vacation who sleep a bit later after a long day of driving

The Maldonado’s

Great location and amenities Morton’s is one of my favorites, and they are located in many nice hotels like this one Make sure you visit on the evening

Our tour had breakfast arrangements, missed the eggs on the last two mornings of the trip To their credit, staff was kind, attentive and accommodating Starbucks in the house too (for those Cafe lovers like us) Safe “business” area, and parking is just around the corner Modern feel with plenty to do around the hotel

Eva S

It’s a good business hotel, quiet standard, could be any brand really Pros and cons below:PROS:Large spacious room with nice expansive views onto the main street, gets good light during the day Comfy bed

There’s a desk to work at if need be Nice staff at the hotel, very accommodating and caring Very clean, good observation of covid rules etc Food served during the event was good too, tasty, good temperature- I recommend the current kitchen staff can certainly cater for breakfast tooAreas to IMPROVE:No breakfast, no pool/spa; the air in the hotel was so dry most event delegates were complaining about difficulty to sleep at night, myself included – I strongly recommend to get lots and lots of green plants, maybe install some air humidifiers for the winter months The shower head was full of limescale – need to check those details and replace Maybe add a picture(s) in the room, some softer interior details – interior now looks so sterile, plain

Mitch Grussing

We visited DC for leisure, and we felt that this hotel was the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and value Driving in from out of town, it was easy to get to this hotel by car, and the Metro stop made it easy to get to all the big sights around the capital Our rooms were clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable

Yes, you have to pay for breakfast here, but there are tons of options nearby, including several in the lobby I was perfectly happy with Starbucks and Dunkin; my husband and his parents sought fancier eats in the morning The only bummer was that there’s no pool and hot tub But still I’d give the place a full five stars because we were truly satisfied with this hotel

Cannot say enough about the entire staff! So courteous and helpful the entire six days of my stay Great breakfast, too As for the location, we had access to the farmer’s market on Connecticut, the metro and Georgetown

Georgetown was about a 20 min walk, which was fine for us, as we love to walk Felt secure going out after dark, even at 2 am to take the dogs out to pee Underground parking was good, too Hughly recommend Will definitely stay here again🙂

Edgardo Honda

The property is worn out It needs a top to bottom update The beds are very soft provides no support and out backs hurt in the morning

The a/c is motion sensitive and it stops cooling at night and woke up sweating The bathroom toiletries are cheap Other Marriott hotels have very nice toiletries We even found a roachI love Marriott hotels and go out to the way to stay with them buy this one has been forgotten by the company

Heidi P

The staff is friendly, housekeeping was great But the rooms really need some repair/updates We stayed in one of the 2-bedroom units

The carpet was frayed in places, some of the lamp shades were stained, the mattresses were both HARD AS A ROCK, one of the bathroom faucet handles was loose and some of the tile base in the bathrooms were coming off The location is good, being several blocks from the metro station And we found many great restaurants close by

Maddie Becker

Overall a pleasant stay! The hotel room was pretty average, but incredibly quiet Very close to many delicious restaurants and cafes! The staff was helpful and allowed us to store our bags before and after checkout Valet parking was on the expensive side, but was comparable to other places nearby

Only big concern – the hallways had a pretty terrible sewage smell, however it didn’t seem to extend into the rooms

Nik Rama

This is a pretty decent hotel in the center of Georgetown! We came for a few days to enjoy the city and be able to walk to most placesDo note that Valet parking is $50/day for regular cars and $60/day for oversized carsThe staff were helpful and friendly

Elevators are efficient and quickly come to your floorThe fitness center is surprisingly pretty big with multiple cardio equipment, some free weights, and a few machinesRooms are pretty comfortable, however our floors were not clean or vacuumed Small pieces of gravel were strewn across the roomThe other issue is the temperature of the hotel The elevators and hallways are extremely hot and humid as if there is no air conditioning! It’s a little gross feeling that humidity and heat throughout the elevator ride and walking to your room Once inside your room it is much betterThey are connected to the Chef Geoff restaurant, so if you are a Hilton Diamond member you will get a $10/guest/day to use there They have really good food for both breakfast and dinner so I highly recommend it!

CeCe Fiering

The room is nice and spacious but it’s obvious that some things are definitely cheap The bed was comfortable but the pillows are terrible The TV is old

All of the hardware is super cheap and not installed well in the bathroom The bathtub spout leaks, the towel hanger fell off the door, the shower valve doesn’t work very well Other than that, the location is nice Very close to nice restaurants and good location if you have to walk

Best hotel in GeorgetownI love the charm of this hotel right in the heart of everything The friendliest staff and impeccable service and luxurious accommodations while steps away from shopping and more dining options

The library/reception area is a cozy and elegant pace for a nightcap or to lounge The rooftop offers a fantastic view of the cityscape and is a great for private functions or if you need a peaceful place to hang out

Jay Gif

Staff were friendly and helpful Valet offered to keep Tesla charged overnight which was great! The room was THE quietest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in (no HVAC noise at all) Bed was comfortable, bathroom nice although some paint bubbling in ceiling

The rooftop spa and bar looked amazing but too cold to enjoy Deducted a star for value, was very expensive and just didn’t quite deliver what I felt it should at that price

Tania Ferguson

The Rosewood DC is remarkably disappointing More expensive than comparable rooms at the Ritz or Four Seasons, there are essentially no luxury amenities The pool is the size of two hot tubs

Sadly, Cut the restaurant had a kitchen fire and therefore there is no way to get anything to eat at the hotel I had to go grocery shopping They did not offer any discount for this inconvenience The did make the minibar complementary except for liquor…and there is essentially nothing to eat in the minibar The room is incredibly small and the bathroom hard to manage in its size The “partial canal view” is just a brick wall One must stand to look out the window if water is to be seen-and only then with great focus More accurately this is a brick wall view There is no spa, the fitness facility is smaller than a bathroom with no modern equipment in it except a single peleton bike with bad pedals The fitness facility is a really big disappointment-I’ve had to find a gym to go work out at So I’ve had to leave the premises for food, workout, spa services…It’s a travesty to the Rosewood brand They should close the hotel and renovate, modernize-or drop the prices to reflect the current facade

Staff was phenomenal This includes the front desk, bar and restaurant staff All were top notch, friendly, cheerful and helpful

Room was amazing Super comfortable, the desk was great and the television was above top great with the additional appsThe entire property (inside and out) was kept very cleanDropped a star for the price of bar items, seemed a bit expensive Even with the $15/day credit, everything in the restaurant is expensive The food was goodNot any fault of the hotel, but there are limited eateries within walking distance

ankana bhatacharya

Last minute booking for memorial weekend, decent prices Room was fantastic, staff was helpful too! We got an upgrade to the 9th floor for 20$ extra per day and I’m so glad that we took it The bed was comfortable, the shower was so good, definitely felt the luxury there!Additionally, coffee downstairs was excellent and the bar was happening

There was a happy hour between 5-6 PM when we spent a lot of time in the lobby chit chatting and sipping 5$🍻

Jesús Wong

Very nice place to stay, ample rooms, coffee machine is welcoming, nice views, very convenient “pantry”store with basics as ice cream, good sandwiches and small first aid last minute itemsThe gym looks good but I didn’t had time to use itBut mostly and more important: the staff was very helpful and accommodating with our needs

Helping beyond the regular requests from our groupWe had an excellent stay

This is my second time staying at Why Hotel Tysons Corner My first stay went smooth and was perfect, In fact I did recommend your hotel to my family and friends Surprisingly when I checked in in the the second time after coming from a 6 hours flight I was given the keys to a room that had already people belongings in it

The lady at the front desk had no idea it was occupied So I went down to her and told her it was already occupied, she gave me the keys to another room, I opened the apartment and it had people cloth hanging and boots I went down again and told her its occupied, she told me maybe they kept their stuff behind When she came with me to check the room, a lady went out of that same apartment! Finally the 3rd try worked and she was able to find us a clean ready apartment

I wasn’t even able to book anything due to terrible reception I was unable to view the website, so I called Right off the bat, I explained that I was having website issues, so I needed to book live

I informed the receptionist that I was looking to stay 2 nights, and he said he would see what he could do After repeating back the wrong information multiple times, he finally told me there were rooms available: “Just look on the site to book” I hope I don’t have to explain why this was frustrating After I reiterated the details, he said in quite a haughty tone that reservations required a minimum of 4 nights as if it were obvious Why didn’t you just tell me that in the beginning when I laid out the details? He even laughed at me afterwards when I told him I didn’t realize this Looking back on the site, I do see an alert, but the alert itself isn’t very user-friendly if I’m being honest; it’s quite easy to miss-I was very disappointed because friends recommended this place, and they had such a good experience But if this is the the type of person who’s going to be working with guests, then WhyHotel isn’t worth my money, plain and simple Generalizing the whole staff as being disrespectful would be inaccurate and unfair, but it only takes one staff member to lose eager, paying customers Rude reception is never good for business I don’t doubt it’s a great place (the pictures look lovely), and I hope other people have a better experience, but this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth I don’t think I’ll ever be bringing my business back to WhyHotel

Van Freeman

The WhyHotel Tysons Corner is perfectly located, very easy to get around, and walking distance from bars, restaurants, and grocery stores, like Whole Foods The overall experience was great, with exceptionally clean rooms and everything you need to feel at home The Lobby staff was extremely helpful from the beginning, explaining the check-in process, and providing guidance bars and restaurants around the hotel at all hours of the night

the communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on pictures I would TOTALLY recommend it

The interior of The District Hotel is visually stunning especially at night The staff is super helpful and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable and fun The made to order omlette breakfast is a great feature and the helpful staff at breakfast further enhanced our stay

The main restaurant is convenient but not an exciting selection of food The rooms themselves are clean and nice but showing a little wear and tear If I could ask for one improvement it would be that the staff be a little more knowledgeable about nearby eateries and entertainment They were helpful but seemed to rely on the preprinted suggestion sheet instead of doling out personal knowledge We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Adriana Velasquez

It’s not a Hilton so don’t expect the same service and quality They have the name and everything but the manager said being a Hilton timeshare doesn’t mean is a Hilton, so they don’t have the same standards The pool and jacuzzi are moldy and the wall is peeling off

Breakfast is not the worst but is not great Rooms are good but the cleaning service is not like in a hotel The person at reception was clueless about how laundry service works Location was great because it’s quiet but close to interesting places to visit Shampoo and the other products are cheap and full or unhealthy chemicals like parabens I would say the hotel is really a 3 star hotel with 4 hotel rooms In summary, if you don’t mind a crowded hotel with the feel of a 3 stars hotel but nice rooms…stay here I had a nice time but I wouldn’t come back

Tiffany Pope

This place went above and beyond our expectations The rooms were nice and clean The staff was absolutely next level

My daughter left her blanket in the bed Once we checked out, housekeeping quickly cleaned the room Several hours later, as we were getting ready to leave DC our daughter realized she left her prized blanket (she has used it since infancy and is very attached) My husband went back to the desk and asked to search the room They happily let him When it was not located there, several of the housekeeping staff searched the clean and dirty laundry They found it in the clean linen! I literally cried at their kindness and compassion

We stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend and was very happy with the stay Captain managed the front desk during my stay, and he was extremely friendly and helpful! He even went above and beyond to make my birthday night special The other front desk staff was just as nice and helpful

I had no complaints about my room that was a standard size, everything worked as it should, and most importantly clean We had a drink at the bar/restaurant and the bar’s hostess was great toowe enjoyed her! I am very picky and boujee about my hotel and would return to this hotel It is in a great location surrounded by a mall, restaurants, and a quick drive to the DC area! Thank you for assisting with making my birthday a success!

Beautiful hotel, clean and good rooms We stayed here for a family reunion The beds are comfortable, the pillows are good, the a/c works well with no issues

The bathroom is a decent size Bath soaps and shampoos are decentBut the best thing about this hotel is the staff Alina was very helpful She tried her best to accommodate our family in spite of a huge wedding group staying here at the same time Captain was also great!! He is friendly and charming When you come across hotel staff who welcome you with friendly smiles and want to help you have a great stay, that means a lot to a customerThank you so much, Alina and Captain!!!!

A pleasant surprise! I’m in town with my two sons to celebrate my birthday and my company’s first podcast covering the Commanders While walking down the hallway with my boys, my youngest son mention that it’s my birthday while walking past an employee I return from FedEx Field to a pleasant surprise

It’s nice to see the extra effort to make a guest’s day Special thanks to the staff at this fine hotel for my birthday surprise and for the ability to check in a little early I will definitely return and recommend this hotel Top notch service!

Beware, $25/day amenity fee isn’t ever mentioned when booking The amenities aren’t exceptional whatsoever (no breakfast, just coffee and tea) and just should be standard at this type of hotel But I said, fine, at least they list an option for a late check-out on a little piece of paper they give you when informing you that they will charge you extra daily fee

Upon asking the front desk for a late checkout, I was informed that after the first hour every hour is for an additional fee starting at $50 per hour So what is exactly the $25 fee for? One-hour check-out is a standard courtesy offering The rooms are nice but no microwave The fridge wasn’t working Not sure what exactly it is that I paid for so won’t stay here again

Shu Illumeenous Thomas

Great location, room was spacious and clean but a bit dusty You could tell the room hadn’t been used in a while & the sofa bed had a stain on it Staff were great and very nice

View wasn’t the best but that was okay Never got to try the pool but the food in restaurant in the lobby was on point Felt safe walking around, plenty of activity nearby and close to the metro It was a lot traffic in and out but never heard anything loud or crazy in our room The spa tub made it all worth it

Sam Adams

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The rooms are nice sized and the bathroom was gorgeous Also I LOVE the amenities, even if they charge a little extra every day, totally worth it Free wine hour, two free bottles of water a day, free wifi, $10 in their market, and FREE BIKE RENTALS!! A beautiful hotel and located by everything you need

Will definitely be staying here whenever I go back to DC!

What a terrible shame I had every intention of leaving a five star review for this hotel until my experience this morning with the general manager First let me start with the positive

The weekend crew is absolutely amazing Everyone is friendly and pleasant I had moved to Homewood after a horrendous stay at another hotel I was so relieved to finally rest in a spacious, clean hotel with exceptional service The front desk even helped to accommodate my aroma sensitivities The room also comes with membership to Golds Gym which was a great perk which I sadly was unable to use, but is a great option The front desk team even checked in the second day to see how everything was and it was fantastic The breakfast on the weekend was also really terrific with sweet potato fries along with the usual eggs and two choices of meat Also, there were numerous choices of breads, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of fruit I didn’t actually eat much and looked forward to Monday Sadly, none of this was availableThe breakfast had one meat, only bagels and only “delicious” apples, which I abhor I found this odd, but ok…I will accept it Then, as I’m trying to relax with my rather limited breakfast, the general manager came over and started sweeping the floor near me…sweeping dust into the air and near my flip-flopped feet and naked legs When I commented that this was inappropriate, he simply said, “I’m sorry you were offended, but I needed to clean”1) At the time I came to breakfast, there was only one of fourteen tables occupied In other words, the place was almost empty There was ample time to clean2) Breakfast was closing in 20 minutes He could have waited until after I left3) I didn’t make the mess There was no reason to penalize me and force me to shower again because someone else made a mess at my feetI would normally keep this complaint internal and simply talk to management about the fact that this was unpleasant, but…Is this a major issue? No However, it shows an attitude of management putting their own needs to get their perceived job done above those of their customers, forgetting that their job is to service customers

Hilton hotels have been my go to for years The service is always good Not my most recent stay at this hotel

Probably one of my worst experiences at a hotelArrived at the hotel, “checked in” after a bit at the front desk, only to find out that I was mistakenly given access to a room with other tenants already occupying it We proceeded to exit the room and went back down to inform the front desk of what occurred Front Desk worked quickly to give me the keys to a new room thankfullyNext, we arrived at the hotel room and proceeded to get in the shower only to find out that the towels were soiled yellow by what appeared to be pee 2 out of the 4 towels in the hotel room were that way Same thing happened with the towels we got on Friday, at which point we decided to cut our trip short by one dayI called the Diamond Desk to see if I could check out a day early I was informed that since this stay was booked with my Hilton Points that I would lose them if we left early as they “Couldn’t” refund them I decided that staying another night was not worth it, and left even though it meant losing more than 70k points Left the hotel this morning without looking backIf you are thinking of becoming a Diamond Member, please don’t Its honestly not worth it based on this experience

This was possibly the best service I have ever experienced during a hotel stay The hotel staff really made my family feel welcome The front desk, manager and kitchen staff were all terrific

The pool and hot tub were clean The room was clean When a lot of other chains seem to be going downhill lately, our stay in Falls Church at the Hilton was refreshing I highly recommend staying here Thanks!

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay The hotel is renovated and looks very nice The main lobby area looks very fancy 🙂 which I appreciated

The parking is pricey, $28/night! yikes! There is available parking in front of the building but only up to 2 hours for less than $6 However, after 8pm during the weekday and on weekends you can park on the street at no charge No breakfast which is unfortunate, but a quick comparison shows that the surrounding hotels operate the same The staff is great! Everyone is very nice and they greet you right at the door The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable There was no turn down service :(, we stayed for 3 nights and 2 days, and I am pretty sure there is a cleaning fee Overall, I recommend Sonesta!

Kudo’s to all for a job well done!

Great choice for a last minute stay Furniture and bed were starting feel a bit dated/worn and the bathroom was a bit cramped But the space in the room made up for some of that and the staff welcomed us warmly

They had some interesting pamphlets/brochures that weren’t just your typical Washington DC tourist activities as well and the lobby/cafe space was gorgeous!

Excellent hotel Friendly and efficient staff Room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable

Plush comforter and pillows that kept us at just the right temperature over night Fantastic shower Probably one of the best showers I have ever had Loved all the little amenities throughoutFYI parking is $44 a night but really it ends up being about the same price as the hotels that include parking (at least with the rate we got from Priceline)

Overall was a decent hotel with excellent access to the metro The bar downstairs was nice as well, and the food was decent The reception desk was accommodating and courteous as well

The rooms were nice and had convenient places to charge your electronics The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed with a rain shower and wand Lastly, the parking garage was easy to access below the hotel However, my complaint was that I could hear the guest next door speaking on the phone It was difficult to fall asleep until he ended his call

Terrific location, near many many restaurants, 3 miles from the Mall, rooms fairly good size with spacious bathroomWish the bathroom fan wasn’t connected to the light switch as I would have liked a night light without fan noiseBed was fabulous with squishy pillows and soft, soft sheets and comforter

Breakfast was a terrific buffet… $18 Best dining room I’ve seen attached to a hotelShout out to sweet Dolores at the desk who greeted returning guests with a cheery, ‘welcome back!’

I recently stayed at The Churchill and I rarely leave reviews, but I had such a great experience that I wanted to share As soon as I arrived, Gerard warmly greeted me He was so helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions

I had a few requests and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of My room was beautiful and most importantly very clean I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re in the DC area

The Churchill Hotel was a great place to stay We loved the room and the view from the 9th floor was fantastic The valet was really great and professional

Had our car ready on time every time The room layout was good since it had a separate alcove that my wife called her “makeup room” and she loved having her own space Definitely would recommend!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area

I have been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I’m sure!Excellent hotel in a great location Reception staff were helpful and stored my bag since I arrived early until my room was ready Received a suite upgrade using my Marriott rewards with a nice view Room was clean with lots of space 2 separate thermostats Internet connected TV’s

This hotel is at 10 minutes from the National Mall in Washington DC This means that if you have a car, it’s really worth it to spend more or less the same money here than in one of the hotels inside DC limits within a lower categoryThe rooms are REALLY clean, which shows you are in a superior category hotel

The location is great, very close to DC and even closer to restaurants in Arlington We noticed a couple of minor issues (drawers which don’t close completely, the sink draining not as fast as it should) The hotel isn’t new but it has been quite well maintained

Chelsea M

This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting DC, you can ride the metro in & it isn’t that far The hotel was clean and smelled pleasant, I especially enjoyed the regular sized toiletries, I bring my own every time because the tint bottles that most hotels typically have isn’t enough for my family The snack stand down stairs was extremely convenient & they have a Starbucks in the lobby! Also the restaurant attached to the hotel, The Commentary had some extremely delicious food!! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that you need the room card to exit the parking garage when you leave

We forgot of course & threw ours in the “express checkout” box right by the elevator The front desk woman was kind enough to make us one so we could get out Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others!!
