Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the staff at Candlewood Suites for wonderfully hosting our two-week stay GM Robert, Queen, Beth, Andrew

you’re all rock-stars! Every staff member we spoke with were genuinely friendly Even though the property has been around for awhile, not once did I find it to be dingy and worn The hotel is well-maintained and the housekeeping staff are, without a doubt, top-notch! Everything looked and smelled so clean! Our room was large, comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal Not having to pay to use the washers and dryers was a huge plus! We plan to be in Macon many more times and will most definitely make our reservation at Candlewood Suites It’ll be fun to visit with our hotel staff friends, again😊

Andrew was very helpful in the whole process of checking in and out He’s very friendly and provided us with the appropriate hospitality Though we were only in town for one day of the cherry blossom festival, the stay was very decent

Though there were occasional heavy footsteps from time to time, it didn’t make much of a difference The beds were comfortable and clean

We chose this hotel location as we were attending an airsoft even fifteen minutes down the road We made the reservations online through IHGcom

The rates were very reasonable The staff were very professional and friendly for the duration of out stay The location is up on a hill and a Wal-Mart is conveniently around the corner The only cons is the motion-activated exhaust fan in the bathroom We had to turn it off every time we went in there and the beds were so firm that they were almost hard Otherwise, a very pleasant stay

The staff at the front desk Mrs Jasmine was superb and excellent skills/knowledge when it comes to questions and fixing any problems Rooms are comfortable & quiet, housekeeping were nice and helpful

The pool has been broken for a while and the pool water was green (algee), they ned to fix that pool especially with the heat in Milledgeville The breakfast was ok, however about half hour before closing they ran out of some food No AC on the elevator and no back up generator when the lights went out for about 3 hours, some guests got stuck on the elevator and the FD had to be called to get them out Overall was an ok stay, could be better if they fix those issues that I’ve mentioned

Security CamerasI loved this hotel, I’m a regular here Until this weekend

There were a lot of drunks and one of them hit my brand new truck (he was driving a burgandy challenger) When I requested the license plates They said the cameras are not good and didn’t catch anything

I’ve stayed at hotels all across the country and Milledgeville has been the best by far The staff make the stay wonderful, they’re the sweetest most personable people and because of them we have gone out of our way to stay here as long as we could even though our business is all the way in Marietta and down in Florida It was well worth the extra hours of driving just to finish up our days here

Thank you for a fantastic experience! Please, if you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet hotel with the best hospitality the south can offer, make a trip out here!

Matt Vicens

The room was clean and the staff was friendly, however I have to give this one star because of the experience I had this morning I needed to grab breakfast on the run so I picked up a granola bar and chocolate milk from the breakfast area On the way to the job site I opened the milk and took a drink and felt the first chunk hit the back of my throat

The smell filled the car a moment later It was a miserable experience I only hope I don’t get sick from what little I wasn’t able to spit outIt speaks volumes when a company doesn’t put the health and safety of its guests first with something as simple as food storage The carton was still 5 days from expiration, so this could only be explained by improper storage/refrigerationDo better, Marriott

When I first walked in I smelled clean That is so importan!! The place looked great The rooms had nice comfy beds

My room had a fridge/microwave New TVs that had good working remotes with plenty of channels The bathrooms were very clean and the black and white tile was a nice touch The hotel has an indoor pool that was pretty large It led out to an outdoor area with a nice gazebo A small gym, was located next to the indoor pool

First walking into the room, it was very clean & pretty decor We are enjoying our stay Here because of our house fire

So far it’s going into 2 weeks & it’s home away from home to us Except for the rooms have assigned housekeeping days & our room haven’t been cleaned yet Everything is exactly like the website photos We have 2 separate bedrooms & separate bathrooms inside the suite Housekeeping is friendly Manager & Conner at front desk is nice too Breakfast is great ( not a huge menu) & clean dining area We’ve experienced the pool ( except the water was cold) & small gym Again, everything is going fantastic so far It’s expensive, but it’s worth the quality amenities

First issue was at check in at the hotel the clerk just asked for my last name and hand me the key to the room Didn’t ask to see my driver license or credit card Second walked by housekeeping to get to our room playing loud music and eating

The hallway to our room had a strange smell Hallway felt like we were walking loose floorboards The room was very clean The beds were comfortable Don’t know anything about the pool or free breakfast

I’ve been staying here for Almont 5 months and at times they ran out of amenities and at first I didnt mind at all as everyone was so nice Sometimes my room wasn’t at the fullest clean but again after months it was OK because we understood We were a large group at first but some didn’t like their services and cleanliness but Iwas OK

My son started working as a seasonal with same company so I surely recommend him to stay He has 2 kids with him so he rented a separate room Us knowing how kids at their age (3, 4)my family would ask for a vacuum or sweeper to clean up and trash bags They always ask for us to leave trash out the door, so I told that to my family For the 3 to 4 weeks all the staff did was change sheets and minor clean up We bought a broom since my family was always in door so today at check out for them my son noticed a 150 fee for damages but there was none I approached the desk since I was the long term customer and asked and immediately Jawana Mason started going off that the room was extremely messy and said to me , is that how dirty your house is, I immediately reacted upsetting and started arguing and said YOU ALL treat us like slaves I was very much offended by her comment because from what I know she referred to all my staff and myself including my family NEVER AGAIN I will stay on this hotel Of course the carpet would be dirty since we paid a pet fee of 100dlls but that was not the issue but yet of her racial comments to my staff and family Hope you think twice before you stay here with kids or work related for a long stay I’m soon to be an Elite Member for my king stay and feel very humiliated

Hotel was super clean Staff was extremely friendly and professional The receptionist girl (I forget her name) was awesome, she helped recommend some nice places to check out over the weekend

The breakfast prepared by Loretta turned out amazing, more hotels should follow suite and prepare different breakfasts like this The breakfast room was different but nice and comfortable Pool was small (seems to be a thing in this town) Shower/bathroom was great, room was clean, (please upgrade microwaves as they can’t even pop a small bag of popcorn) Location is great, the food, mall, and theater are basically walking distance, along with a bar (super expensive tho $10/hr for pool tables) and Walmart less than a mile away Workout room was a bit small, but had decent equipment from what I noticed Has a hookup for RVs from what I saw Internet was good, fast and at the time was decently secured tho it doesn’t like Linux computers

Amanda Hughes

Front desk customer service is lacking The male who checked us in barely spoke to us, did not smile, and did not make us feel welcome The girl at check out greeted us

When we went to the room, it was open YES! There was no hot water! These were reported twice, but disregarded, by even management Room was nice Update – I called the hotel & spoke with the manager He was less than helpful I completed the form as he requested & that was that NO 100% satisfaction here

Staff was very helpfulRoom was 👍Pet friendly, perfectMorning 🌄 food very good and available when I was ready Coffee, etc to go and breakfast had good smells, good variety, good taste, how can you beat thatPlenty of convenient parking as I have a small trailer in tow

They have exercise equipment and pool, my time was short, so I did not take advantage of those things,Room was clean, quiet, the right temperature, lots of cable channels to choose from, refrigerator, chairs, couch and tables, comfy bed, nice bathroom, and large outside windowwhewWhat can I say, it was just nice for an overnight stayMichael Barney

Lydia Delaney

Nice clean room however I requested a ground floor room but got a third floor room Had to lug everything onto cart and sturggle in and out of elevator Was given excuse that the first two floors were used often for pet owners and would not be as nice

I appreciate the upgrade but wonder why they give the whole two floors to quests with pets and not keep some for older adults as well I stayed because all rooms open inside But will not consider staying in that particular place again

Only 2 things this hotel has going for it are the massive rooms and indoor pool The hotel was dirty from time of checkin to checkout The room had ashes from a cigarette, shower was disgusting to look at

Pool was small but good for kids I guess Cockroaches on the stairs and some dried substance in the room floor I don’t know how it received a 3star rating – maybe only due to the room size maybe? After seeing the bugs I wasn’t about to have the breakfast

Carson Nelson

To start we arrive at the hotel and the lobby is extremely hot, the front desk staff was very nice We get into our room and find hair, stains, and holes all inside the sheets of the bed The couch had writing all over it and the walls had large scratches

The bathroom was disgusting and seemed like it had not been cleaned in ages I would never recommend this hotel

David Roberts

I had a reservation for tonight Yesterday I got a call and a cryptic message was left saying they needed to talk about my reservation Today I have tried to reach them 6 or so times throughout the day and they don’t answer the phone

I’m pretty sure this is how they passive-aggressively cancel my reservation? If you are going to cancel my reservation please say so Communication is better than cowardice Comfort Suites is terrible, and does not honor their commitments

My husband and I checked in Room 222 on 4/15/22 at the Home 2 Suites in Macon, Ga I was awakened out of my sleep with my husband jumping out of the bed saying something is biting me He cut on the lights and I jumped out of the bed to see what was going on

He had red raised areas all on his neck; upper and mid ; back ; shoulders and arms I pulled the covers back on his side of the bed and saw small black bugs crawling on the linen This happened at 05am in the morning We left the hotel at 7Am We informed the front desk The staff was unapologetic No one offered another room or try to rectify the situation They didn’t go look in the room They charged us for the room We asked for the manager They gave us a card and said “He was not there; and that he would be back the following week I emailed the General Manager and he has yet to return my calls or respond to our emailsI have never been treated this way or have had this type of experience at a Hotel This has been the worst experience I have had so far in my life

Richard retire2011!r

I left my AARP card at the check-in desk upon checking in The staff never told me they found my card Staff said it was found the next day after I check-out

Since it was left right by the PC at the front desk, they must not be sanitizing the counter frequently because any one with eyes would have seen it When I arrived at my next stop, I called Macon Home2 and was told they had my card but I would have to go to a post office and mail them the postage to get the card back! I am a Hilton HHonors member for years and they couldn’t do this for me after paying $275 for a one night stay for my family I called twice to speak to the Manager and was told he/she was not there The Manager never returned my calls Also their breakfast was sub-par for a Hilton property Never staying here againFollow-up: The AARP was mailed to me and my HHonors account was credited with some points for the inconvenience I am satisfied

Rebekah Barton

The rooms were very nice and clean The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was by far better than most with a great variety of options for everyone The staff makes you feel welcome the instant you walk through the door and are willing to answer any questions you may have

This hotel is certainly one of Milledgeville’s hidden gems

I was traveling with a middle school band and although the kids were well behaved, middle schoolers can be very loud The staff was nice and helpful, especially the front desk clerk She was patient with some of our kids forgetting their keys in their rooms and my botched third party reservation

Clean and comfortable rooms Thank you!

We have always been Marriott’s customer but recently on our trip to Nashville, the Marriott’s were full I usually pull my member card status and can get my room but this time I did not push There was a Hampton inn near by so we thought we would try it

It was fantastic, we had the best night sleep So we decided for our road trip that we would stick to Hampton inns because the room was so good, the breakfast was hot and the hospitality was on point Well, tonight is not the case, the first room we were assigned smelled gross, the refrigerator was broken, the phone did not work, nor was there any sheets on the pullout sofa we use for our two kids We told the front desk and she gave us new sheets and pillows and eventually switched us rooms, where again there were no sheets She was unable to find any extra pillows for my kids so there is that I just thought I would let you know this location is not up to par with your other locations We will not take a chance in the future with Hampton inns because of this stay After a long day of driving, which we do quite often, we just wanted to lay our heads down and get a good nights rest It hasn’t started off that good and I can bet the rest of our stay will be the same

Gary Yurco
