Simple hotel Great prices Even better staff

They went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay They have entertainment so I could get out of my room without getting dressed up to go anywhere Rooms are modern and fun Check-in was a breeze Most hotels in the city don’t have free parking and Moxy is no exception, but street parking was easily available I felt safe my entire stay I couldn’t have picked a better cost effective hotel for my stay I will be staying here in the future

Jerell Jones

We enjoyed our stay in the green room at the Moxy Got locked out of our room and staff couldn’t get us in to enjoy our bed sadly – but the night was still spectacular Luckily, there was a bed in the living room (which we did not mind, but it sucked paying a lot of money to sleep in the living room)

Mind you, the staff did offer a different room for us to sleep in, but we didn’t take the offer Had a birthday party and our friends were definitely impressed by the room and hotel overall! RECOMMEND!

Kim Pollack

Overall this is an adequate hotel We stayed two nights The room was clean and the bed was comfy

However the choice to spend money on useless room decor (namely electric guitar and amp) in exchange for typical amenities you find in a hotel was a waste in our minds Having an in room refrigerator, cups and available parking would have made for a better stay Sure the complimentary cocktail and live jazz was a nice touch The website speaks of cost for parking…but it isn’t near the hotel or associated with it The surprise after a 12 hour drive wasn’t well received All that said you’ll find this hotel adequate but trying too hard to be something it isn’t

This place was not immune to this post covid society – recently re-opened because of lack of staff, no breakfast (even though it said there was on the website), no turn down service unless requested, ONE luggage cart (minor but inconvenient detail), the pool said it was closed until further notice but I saw people swimming during the middle of the day Would have been nice for my toddler and I to swim so we weren’t cooped up in the room all day The room itself was clean enough when we arrived and the beds were comfy, and the staff was kind which is why they are at least getting 3 stars

I hope things get better soon for this hotel!

This hotel is in need of a refresh/update Hasn’t changed or updated anything for a long time My company is just down Shady Oak Rd

and I have informed our office to avoid this hotel and shift back to Eden Prairie for lodging The staff was nice after you got them to come out of the office My room needed to be refreshed/updated especially the bathroom The Breakfast was limited and the evening offering was Pizza No housekeeping during your stay I don’t live like that at home and for the rate you pay for these rooms I expect more I am a Diamond Member and felt slighted at this hotel, Your status perks stopped at reserved parking and the staff made no effort to make you feel valued I travel for a living and stay in many hotels domestically as well as internationally which affords me to see the disparity between locations and hotels which are often identical in brand and accommodations Most hotels are franchised but should have some standards required upon a franchisee

Roger Brown

Have been staying here every week for 13 weeks on a company project Staff here takes care to make sure I have everything I need The only issue is the routine for room cleaning doesn’t make sense

I check out every Friday morning and back on Sunday night They clean my room every Thursday I had requested that all rooms under our company reservation to be cleaned on Wednesday It makes no sense to clean on Thursday then I check out Friday morning You have to clean again for weekend rentals Wouldn’t Wednesday be a more logical day to clean? Lastly, they know I reserve weekly but only leave two coffee pods and two paper coffee cups Have to ask at front desk and they are only allowed to give out two at a time BTW, I am a Diamond Elite customer

Bull Dogg

This is an excellent hotel locate in one of the most affluent suburbs of Minneapolis The hotel is conveniently located only 15-30 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic), and within walking distance from two malls, one of them being, I think, the first mall in AmericaThe lobby is a bit impersonal but the staff is very friendly and professional

The check-in process was fast and simple, and the information about the hotel was genuine and easy to understand, not the “commercial subtitle style info”The hotel features a restaurant, a great bar, a gym, and a pool And, of course also conference facilitiesI was upgraded and had a fantastic room with views in two directions The room was very clean, and there were helpful amenities I was surprised, however, that the hotel doesn’t have complimentary slippers That is odd for a hotel of this standardThe breakfast is very good, and if you are in a hurry you can get a coffee and a snack from the bar in the morning Also, there is a Starbucks right next door and it opens at 6:30 so you have plenty of optionsWe didn’t have dinner at the hotel so we can’t rate the restaurant, but others said it was quite good However, if you prefer to eat at another restaurant you can just walk across the street to the mall, which features (at least) two very nice restaurantsIf we come back to MSP this will definitely be one of the options

Great location! Located in one of the most opulent suburbs in the Twin Cities!Attentive staff…very friendly and accommodating!Atmosphere is very inviting and the rooms were attractively clean!Great location as well as this property is across the street from both the Southdale Center and the Galleria malls Perfect for eating and shopping!

The front desk person by the name of Julius could be the rudest person in hospitality that I have ever met He told me to stay on the club level and explained all the amenities but forgot to mention the club level didn’t have the amenities available on the weekend ( not even coffee) So I asked him later in my stay why he “left out” that important fact and he was unapologetic and rude and called me horrible names even though I was asking a reasonable question

I would be very careful of this man who, in my opinion, has a couple of screws loose to become un hinged the way he did Westin should be ashamed of this employee and hopefully will not expose future guests to him

A decent hotel with ok beds The kids enjoyed the small pool while we went in the hot tub to relax from a long day Hot breakfast is provided

They had scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, waffles, etc Also provided, was a variety of juices as well as coffee & tea One thing I noticed that I would change is that they should leave the hot water dispenser on for those who enjoy an evening cup of tea After a soak in the hot tub, I went to make a cup of tea only to realize that the water was cold Overall, I’d stay again We had no real issues

Yolanta Holmes

Room was large and clean; children loved the pool and hot tub; breakfast buffet selection was very extensive, and the manager was great: I had a work meeting and planned to dial in from the business center off the reception, but he invited me to use the private board room instead An excellent stay all round, and we will definitely return

Wonderful hotel establishment Exceptionally clean, quiet and staff was very friendly and helpful Beds are very comfortable, water pressure was great in the shower, and I didn’t have to crouch in there (I am 6’1”)

Pool is on smaller side and shared with adjoining hotel, so if that is a major concern for you, this may not be the place One of the better hotels we have stayed at Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly staff and great and easy check in and out process Room was decent for the price Pillows weren’t the most comfortable and they could have provided more shower supply

We held our wedding of ~70 people at The Hotel Landing, which included the following activities at The Hotel Landing:*Friday night – rehearsal, cocktail hour, and a welcome diner for everyone staying at the hotel*Saturday – private breakfast buffet for our guests, wedding ceremony in the Grand Ballroom, Cocktail hour, Dinner, & Dance*Sunday – Private breakfast farewell buffet for our guests staying at the HotelEverything was absolutely perfect! They got every detail right Perrie Meltzer, the Catering Salves Manger, was excellent to work with – she really made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it to be! The wait staff were so polite and kind

Everyone at The Hotel Landing contributed to an excellent wedding weekend for usWe highly recommend The Hotel Landing!!!!

Paula Hari

We held the Welcome Party for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding in the Wayzata room at the Hotel Landing Perrie and her staff were magnificent to work with! The bartenders and wait staff were so pleasant and accommodating! They filled our requests for the extra food with ease and a genuine desire to make our event so great! The bartenders kept the bar open for us as we slowly trickled out The venue was beautiful and everyone had a great time! No one wanted to leave! We will keep Hotel Landing on our short list for any upcoming events that we have to celebrate!

Doris Anderson

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at The Landing 2 months ago I wasn’t going to write a review, but after this long it is still bothering me, so I feel I must follow my heartThe facility was beautiful for a wedding

The caterers and the wedding planning staff were great during the planning process The food was delicious! However, this is where the positives endWe did not find out until after the hosted bar ended that the remainder of the evening was a cash bar I always thought “cash bar” meant that the wedding guests were just required to pay for their drinks…not that they literally needed “CASH” only to buy the extremely over-priced drinks This was very frustrating to many guests, and they ended up leaving early because of itThen around 8 PM the music and dancing started It was shortly after an hour after that the Wayzata police showed up as there were noise complaints from residents across the street In my opinion, The Landing should not be able to rent out their facility for anything with a music venue as we were told “this happens all the time” We didn’t appreciate it happening to our daughter and son-in-law, and on our dime It is extremely disconcerting to have police officers walking around your wedding reception…this happened twice in the eveningIt is now midnight, and we were told that everyone needed to leave the reception area as it was being locked up The hotel bar was already closed so the wedding party had nowhere else to go, so they decided to move to the Presidential Suite where the bride and groom were staying They had just gotten there when they received a nasty call from the front desk that they were being too loud- as defined by a disgruntled non-wedding guest from across the hall My room was just down the hall, and the only thing I heard was some appropriate wedding laughter in the hallway as they made their way to the Suite This lasted about 3 minutes Subsequently, they were not being loud, and the music was on very low However, the front desk complained twice more about the noise and started becoming very rude about it -even threatening to “kick them out” This begs the question of if we rented a block of rooms for our wedding guests- why was there a non-guest put right across the hall? He should not have been there in the first place and the front desk should have offered to move him I think we paid a lot more to be at the hotel for the evening than he didThe wedding party attempted to remedy the situation calmly and respectfully but were met with complete resistance and annoyed and unprofessional front desk staff After about 30 minutes of this, everyone went to their own rooms and the bride and groom were left sitting quietly on the couch looking very dejected and disappointed in how “their day” ended You won Landing- but look at what you didIn summary, the entire reception was tainted by all of these events, and we will never return to The Landing again as this has left a very “bad taste in our mouths” We certainly didn’t get our money’s worth and would not recommend anyone having an evening party/reception there with any music/dancing…unless you are a glutton for punishment

I was a participant in a three day seminar at this hotel, and found it exceptional- every member of the staff was accommodating – from maintenance to housekeeping to servers to front desk and more The level of service provided in this era of short staffing was truly remarkable

I had the sense that everyone was “all in” to make our experience great- the food was delicious – every bit of it, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner- the facility is outstanding: comfortable, quiet sleeping rooms with good mattresses, and meeting rooms that are well lit with good climate control

Logan Whatcott

Just started conversion over to the Marriott way of doing hospitality Manager was great and checked me in quick This was at 130am mind you

Main area smelled like chlorine from pool, which is down the hall from the main entranceRoom was well prepared and had no chlorine smell at allTeam there did a great job and we appreciate the hospitality

ShaQuana Terry

The hotel stay was nice Toby the front desk manager was very pleasant and made sure my stay was going good especially because it was a stressful check in process! There were two things that made my stay difficult the air conditioning didn’t get very cool in the room and the microwave was by the front desk which made feeding a infant difficult Otherwise, everyone was very nice I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water

I arrived shortly before the 3 pm check in I was informed my room was not ready yet No big deal

The worker let me know that he would tell me once my room was ready He must have forgotten since he shortly after 3 pm I waited in the long line that had formed to speak with a different front desk worker We had booked the king suite with the jacuzzi tub It was extremely difficult to open and close the door to the room The room was put together but the fixtures were questionable The front pannel for the tub was halfway off The room smelt slightly wet The floor by where the tile and carpet meet was spongyThe mattress was off of the rotate cycle – the tag of the mattress was January, February, March We stayed in August They do not properly flip and rotate the mattress Only noticed this because we check for bed bugs None of those thankfullyThe grout in the shower looked dirty The wall by the bathroom sink was dirty, like someone splashed coffee on the wall The wall by the garbage and mini fridge was also dirty, pretty sure there was blood on the wallBreakfast was okay The pool area was clean

Jessica Wood

There were SEVERAL hairs on the floor of then bathroom The bathroom was filthy Workout room filthy

Bathroom near check-in desk filthy Walls dented and dirty Both pools closed with no warning I checked in, worked out, found some sort of bone/food item on the floor of the gym, went to the room to find what appeared to be hair from several different people on the bathroom floor, asked for a refund and left I have no idea where these good reviews are coming from

Samantha Visinski

If I could leave less than one star, I would This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in The rooms are filthy

There is hair everywhere Hair all over the bathroom floor, on the towels, in the bed The room was dusty, cob webs, tile coming off the walls in the bathroom, what looks like blood on the bathroom walls, the mirrors and windows have prints/splashes all over them I had to change the sheets myself When I asked the manager, Charlie, to have a full room cleaning and came back to see nothing done he told me that I only asked for it to be dusted (which it wasn’t) and didn’t care about my concerns of the cleanliness of the room When I went back again he told me there is nothing he can do, rolled his eyes and had an incredibly bad attitude The breakfast is a small kitchen where you make your own waffles, stale bread, and cold eggsI will never stay at this hotel or it’s brand due to the way I was treated by the manager, Charlie, and the lack of cleanliness

The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, but this hotel needs an update It definitely shows some wear My last day I had a late flight back to LA and arranged for a late check out

Apparently nobody informed housekeeping They banged on my door at 9am Not happy about that Underground parking is a plus especially if you stay here in the winter Would I stay here again? I think that I will spend a few more dollars next time and stay in a hotel that’s a little more up to date

m W

Got this place for my boyfriend and I plus my brothers and I wanted a place that offered separate rooms for that Was perfect! My boyfriend said, “this is bigger than some of the apartments I’ve lived” And he fell in love with the bed immediately

Loved the little kitchen My brothers loved the pool and gym room I wish the breakfast was better but was still better than other hotels I’ve been Mostly wanted an egg option with no cheese but I get that most people like eggs and cheese together

Mike Hollingsworth

I was charged $1,400 randomly days after my stay, when i was charged an up front fee of $750 on the day of the stay I’ve been trying to talk to the manager but haven’t been successful There are also failed attempts to charge my debit card on file more than a handful of times

I would highly recommend you stay away from this hotel! I am looking into legal action for this matter

We had an excellent stay We had three rooms for three nights as we were in town for NCAA womens basketball championships Upon checking, the desk agent was very friendly and quickly assisted us with checking into our rooms

We loved the suites we were upgraded to The hotel property is beautiful and the suites were very well equipped It was nice having a full sized fridge Parking is free, convenient and plentiful The server in the breakfast area, Chris, is so friendly and attentive to every need He’s doing a great job in the breakfast areaI would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again

Danielle Wilmot

Comfortable beds, nice lobby and outdoor space Friendly staff Building is older, though, and some updates are needed

Faucets and door handles got stuck frequently, AC in room was very noisy And while staff were nice, they did not make any extra efforts to accommodate requests (would not extend a later checkout or let us use conference rooms to work after checking out before catching an evening flight, would not get us a bottle of wine to take up to the room 2 minutes after bar closed, etc – most Marriott properties we’ve stayed at before have had zero issues accommodating similar requests) Food at the restaurant was also pretty hit or miss – flatbread was good, shrimp rolls were awful Overall fine, not amazing

We stayed here for a week and the women in our group didn’t feel comfortable walking back alone… and I don’t blame them considering I wouldn’t have felt safe walking alone either, especially dressed in business attire

Ghazanfar “GJ” Abidi

Spacious and clean room King bed was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (laying perpendicular); didn’t even use the sofa bed Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with cutlery and appliances

Told wrong times on breakfast Then showed up 15 mins before close next morning and said nothing left One staff member in particular was incredibly rude I left 2 stars because they have nice city views from the rooms It’s not worth being there though you’re in one of the more dangerous areas of the city, trust me Plus my dead bolt lock didn’t work on my room They didnt care about any of it and then charged me extra cleaning fees when I didnt even get the check out time advertised I feel like I’ve been scammed and it felt like a dirty cheap motel Marriott should drop this dump from their name I’ve been to dozens of different hotels and this is one of the worst in the city Go to Marriott City Center a few blocks down instead if you really want to be in that area, or if you need the full kitchen go to Marriott TownePlace Suites in North Loop Avoid this place, you’re welcome

We really enjoyed our stay, and rarely write reviews, but had to call out how awesome the accommodations were We had a terrible Airbnb experience and left immediately with 2 small dogs, and after the calling the hotel, they quickly accommodated us and provided everything we needed whenever we visited the lobby, or asked questions The rooms are clean, quiet, and all the amenities are at your fingertips including laundry, nearby grocery store/dining, and safe parking

Thank you again to the wonderful staff!

I chose the Homewood Suites in St Louis Park MN after having a fire in my home and having to leave because of smoke damage The front desk staff, housekeepers, breakfast room chef and host/hostess, and maintenance staff were all strictly first class! My suite was wonderful, clean and beautifully appointed

The hotel lobby and breakfast area were lovely and comfortable The staff were absolutely the best! Thank you all for taking such good care of me during a difficult time

Stayed here before, decent hotel, shower not the best but rooms are spacious Don’t plan on Hilton coffee all day, they will leave a cold pot out and not brew anymore Housekeeping leaves dirty sheets and towels in piles down your hallway all day and night, did not appreciate that, happened last time as well

Funky orders and dirty sheets are not what I was hoping for

Don’t fall for what may be promoted as a distinctive lodging option in Edina MN It has some serious downsides despite the laudable mission The rooms are spacious and quiet, but what they don’t tell you until you book the room: Parking is off-site and a block or more away

Not an ideal situation for seniors or anyone with mobility issues There is no microwave There is no ice TV is not cable, so be prepared for local broadcasts and limited viewing options But there is Netflix Meh There are no towel bars Not a single one Toilet paper felt like crepe paper One ply, only thinner Worst ever This place is in the MSP flight path, and the windows and exterior walls are not insulated against noise There are odor eliminators placed in strategic locations in the room, presumably to eliminate objectionable odors…from what, who knows? ( It was once an assisted living facility) So, the room was overly perfumed The HVAC is very, very inadequate Don’t let the room size and pretty pictures fool you We will not be staying again

Yes, we can recommend this motel Prices have gone up for hotels/motels, so we were trying to find a fresh and clean place to stay in the Twin Cities location that was handy for our visit This La Quinta Inn worked out perfectly for that

The price was much less than the more centrally located Mpls lodgings, and parking was free There is no pool, but we never use that feature anyways Breakfast is included in the price and was good Room was clean Lobby was dated, but clean Fresh paint on outside of building and interior hallways , lobby and breakfast dining area are kept clean Staff were friendly and helpful A safe, comfortable and pleasant stay

The key cards didn’t work, due to a malfunction in the lock, so we were locked out of our room until the next morning We were given another room, but were not able to access our belongings There were bugs in the room, breakfast options were slim

Beds were comfortable, hotel is older, needs some work Staff was nice enough, I have not received a refund for the room we were locked out of, as I was promised I wouldn’tchoose to stay here again

I had to edit my review because I had TWO wasps in my room ! They’re infested with other bugs as wells so they didn’t take my call serious! I have a 2 year old with me That was an incredibly dangerous situation!! Some of the staff members need to work on their attitudeother than that the cleaning crew is great

Their supervisor could use some work The breakfast is great! As long as you avoid the staff and bugs you’ll be fine

Hector at the front desk is AMAZING I do not have enough kind words to describe how welcomed and helpful he was upon my arrival He made me feel right at home, gave me all of the information on the hotel, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay

Whenever I am in Minneapolis I’ll be staying here just because of his kindness After a long day he really turned my day around The bar and gym are lovely and the rooms are spacious The location is great and parking is easy I definitely recommend staying here Once again thank you Hector for everything you’ve done to help with my stay I appreciate you more than words can express!

This hotel was the same price as the Marquette where is usually stay but my friend had a room here for the weekend so I booked this instead Worst night at a hotel I had ever experienced About once every 30 mins the furnace would start, it sounded like a diesel generator

The first few rounds I thought there was construction outside it was so loud My fitness tracker said I slept for 1hr15min that night The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and the walls were so thin I could here people partying throughout the hotel all night when the furnace wasn’t running I ended my trip early and didn’t even stay my second night The shower was also just about unusable with how hard the spray was Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling back and it was outdated and dirty The front desk staff was kind upon arrival and promptly refunded the parking I had been incorrectly charged for when I called the day after my stay I know not to have high hopes for hotel breakfast but the only hot option was breakfast sandwiches that were not even close to as good as the worst gas station bkfst sandwich I’ve ever had I will not return to this hotel There are similarly priced hotels in the area that are luxurious

Excellent food, service, and locationAs far as in building amenities go, the pool and gym are excellent, and there is electric car charging on the first floor of the parking garage/basement (2 Tesla only chargers, 1 standard electric charger)
