I’m on a motorcycle and pulled into town last night The Abram is wonderful It’s on the main drag, restaurants all over he place, friendly staff, super clean, modern room with no surprises

The nice Polish woman who checked me in gave me a better rate than I found on google without me asking, and then she moved her car so I could park my bike under shelter She gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation an then handed me a bag filled with breakfast goodies for the morning which I’m eating now The Breakfast Burrito is AMAZING! Small hoteliers cold learn a great deal from he folks who manage this place Thanks so much for making my overnight so pleasant!!!!

Quaint little cottages right on the main street, nestled at the foot of the mountains Makes you feel like you’re in Switzerland, for sure Cozy room with heavenly beds and breakfast in the fridge for your convenience

Surprisingly warm for the conditions outside, so the insulation is great Would have liked to have a desk to use my laptop, but that’s not a reason to remove a star The hostess has a European accent, which just tops off the whole experience This is a great hideaway from the world, if you want to just leave it all behind! Would stay here again for sure! Mostly, because it has a tub and I love a hot bath!

I loved our stay at the Hampton Inn in Montrose, Colorado! Our room was incredibly spacious, and very clean We had plenty of extra towels, pillows, blankets and other miscellaneous items The hotel breakfast had a lot of options and the staff was very helpful

I also loved how many drawers there were to store your personal belongings in the room, and how large the bathroom was Overall, would totally recommend!

Medic Man

All new upgrades except for the bed frames That’s the only reason this isn’t a five star review The bed frames were very noisy

I called the rest and they were very gracious about this They sent Kevin up to fix it He checked 10 other rooms and they all had the same issue The bed was comfortable just noisy so we stayed The workers were great and very accommodating We’ll come back again

The nicest and most helpful person at the front desk – unfortunately can’t remember her name, Cecilia? Started with a “C” However, the next day, the most unfriendly and least customer service oriented person at the front desk! In confirming the late checkout we were graciously granted the night before by the nice person, not only would this guy not smile or engage in a conversation, but said “well she may have said 12:00 checkout but I’m going to say 11:30” After he asked me to explain why we requested a late checkout, he gave us until noon

Felt like I had to grovel when we were already given a late checkout Funny however, that he was very nice to my husband Everyone else there was great

Five stars! Melissa at the front desk was very welcoming and always provided wonderful guest service We arrived to town quite early and our room was not yet ready Melissa offered us the ability to pay an early check-in fee of $35: the housekeepers would work on our room next and have it ready within an hour, which we were happy to pay for

This allowed us to freshen up and really enjoy the afternoon in town vs feeling like we were biding time The accommodations were lovely and the room was spotless (I am very particular about a clean hotel room I check the sheets first thing) The history of the hotel is charming, the view from our window was beautiful, and despite the front door being locked to allow only guest entry, we encountered no issues with access We are night owls and felt comfortable coming back late into the evening We would love to stay again next time we are in Ouray!

Clean, quiet HOME AWAY FROM HOME! Maria welcomed us as though we were family This was a totally spontaneous last minute date weekend during the off season so not all amenities were available but simply being there in all that incredible history was more beneficial than any massage The adult only policy fit us well

Parking right on site, location on Main Street allows easy access to all shops and restaurants Beds so comfy you won’t want to leave The grand staircase creeks just like your grandmother’s We’ve stayed in “Five Star” resorts and hotels and have not been as satisfied as we were at the Beaumont Don’t take everything you see on the internet as gospel CALL THEIR LOCAL NUMBER IF YOU HAVE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS! We were darned lucky this trip as this place is a wedding destination so it’s very busy This is a MUST DO! The restoration of this historic building is above excellent and the original construction, art and furniture is there to enjoy

I was worried about staying in an old historical hotel but this hotel was really beautiful and i really enjoyed my stay Not only is Ouray a great location for adventure but this hotel has a lot of charm from its grand staircase to the design of its rooms it really makes you feel like you’re travelling back in time The people who worked there were also extremely nice and helpful with everything

Probably the most friendly of all the hotels i stayed at this trip I was worried about historic hotels potentially not having AC or having uncomfortable beds or being able to hear through paper thin walls but NONE of this was the case Very comfy bed, ac worked great and couldnt hear anything outside my room Would absolutely stay here again and recommend others do the same

The owners/managers of this hotel are thoughtful and purposeful in what they have included From the hand sanitizer and wipes included at check in to Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner to the bottle opener and coffee maker, microwave and fridge They provided mouthwash which I’ve never seen at a hotel and there was a nice rubber bath mat in the shower

The rooms are clean and we were able to have our dog stay in the food with us

Chris Zimmer

Nice hotel with nice hot tub! Close to everything Nicole, who works the front desk, is amazing She deserves a raise

She was very nice, efficient and helpful while we were there, and we ended up leaving behind a swimsuit as we went out of state! She has been super helpful in getting it mailed back to us and giving us unsolicited updates about status The hotel is nice, and Nicole makes it way better

Beautiful area with plenty of amenities

Only stayed one night and then Stayed at the Hampton Inn The beds were warm out like the rest of the hotel My back ached in the morning and I felt like I was fighting with the bed all night trying to get comfortable

The pillows were just as bad Our room was just above the breakfast area and every time someone scooted a chair you could hear it in the room We got in late and thought we would sleep in but as soon as breakfast started sleep ended The soap in the shower was out so bring your own Breakfast was fine and the workers were great This place needs some serious upgrades

Thomas Simpson (RisingUnicorn)

Holiday Inn double billed my hotel stay Good experience while at the hotel, but 1 night definitely isn’t worth the $600 they charged me I’ve called their front desk 6x so far during their business hours

Every time they’ve told me they’ll transfer me to the general manager and every time I’ve gone to their voicemail It’s been a week since my first call Would not recommend

There is also a hot tub that provided great star gazing at nightMy room was so clean and the shower’s water pressure was on point! Located about a mile from quite a few placescoffee shop, lunch spots, main street antiquesI was able to walk to a bunch of places while I was without my car

If you have a puppy don’t bother We weren’t even there thirty minutes before we were approached by a questionable looking barefooted gentleman that said they can’t have the yapping After trying to explain to him how we would resolve the issue by putting one of the puppies in the truck for a while so he can calm down (with the A/C on of course) the man said ok you’re already getting short with me you guys have to go

We we’re planning on booking our 2 week business trip there but with that kind of attitude we’ll take our business elsewhere
