Full Moon Excursions

Great location at the Northern most entry way to Deception Pass State Park Room we stayed in was clean and reasonably priced for the area There is a restaurant right next door along with a 24 hour gas station/mini mart

Service was friendly and even though we had a little issue at the end of our stay (left a power cord in the room), we contacted the Inn and the owner (?) Bob took care of us by mailing it back gratis! Not gonna find service on that level at many places Thanks Bob, and thank you to the staff at Fidalgo Country Inn for the pleasant stay!

As much as I don’t want to hurt the buissness by leaving a bad review, we hated it The person who was supposed to check us in said she couldn’t do it (she didn’t say anything about being on break either) so we had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to come check us in The times for the pool weren’t updated so they kicked us out once we were already in the water because the sign said they were open until 11

We were locked out of our building because my aunt had the key card (note that there was only one because they wouldn’t give us another) and was inside the room putting on her bathing suit so we had to stand outside, soaking wet until she was ready to swim The guy told us we could come back at 7 but the next day it was closed until 3 🤦‍♀️On the pamphlet thing they gave us, their breakfast option was crossed out in sharpie 😑 Although all of these sound like minor details they added up to be a terrible experience without any positive things to balance it out

Vanessa Brannan

* Front desk staff wouldn’t check us in– made us wait ten minutes for another person to come* Our room had a finicky lock Only one key for 3 people as apparently there’s a shortage of this type of key

Wouldn’t be too big of a deal, but there’s a locked outside door as well We got locked outside at night after getting kicked out of the pool because my sister was planning on joining us a little later* The signs all listed the pool as closing at 11, but we got kicked out at ten, just minutes after getting in We were told the signs were wrong– sorry Seriously? You can’t update your paper printout signs?*Our first key didn’t even work, so we had to go back to get one that let us injury the building* We specified 3 people in our reservation, but there were only 2 towels, 2 soaps Seriously cutting corners This room sleeps 6!* Continental breakfast no longer exists They simply scratched it out with a Sharpie in the brochures If you have a sharpie, surely you could have updated the pool signs

Sheeva Khastoo

We came with little expectation as we haven’t had great experiences at other hotels but we were very impressed This is definitely one of the nicer 3 star hotels We had a corner family room which was very spacious

My parents had the corner room across from us and it had water viewGreat stay for little kids as rooms are big and toilet has a separate space from sinkBreakfast was great since the town isn’t awake at 8Very friendly staff all day

Terry Chiles

Nicely located to downtown La Conner with access to harbor, shops and restaurants Walking through town, plaques on homes and businesses reference historical valueLa Conner Country Inn’s Deluxe King room does not qualify as Deluxe

While the bed was comfortable and the room clean, it provided a shower without tub option A closet was used to house coffee pot and mini-fridge but no microwave without space to hang clothes Lighting was largely on vaulted ceiling track with no way to direct lights Bed lamps and a floor lamp did not give adequate light for readingBreakfast choices were oatmeal, dry cereal, boiled egg, bread that had the option of toasting and muffin bits (I think)Several flights of stairs to get to room may be difficult if luggage is plentiful and/or weighty No elevatorsThe Inn had a certain charm, but needs updating Price is not reflective of amenities offered

Lawrence Stoyanowski

We loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond I had a zoom presentation to do for a training for University Students and they set me up in a board room were I could make my call from Really really appreciated it

Great pet friendly rooms Spacious, clean, modern and comfortable! We will be back I encourage others to give them a shot!! Love La Connor!!

This is about as basic as can be, fine as long as you are aware of what you’re getting The rooms are adequate but they are extremely stingy with the towels and bedding We were given only one bath towel to use between the two of us

The single pillow we each had was thin and flatThe location is good for access to the North Cascades, just don’t expect a comfortable sleeping experience

Mike B

Check in was interesting to say the least The desk clerk wasn’t too friendly might have been a language barrier there since I do not think she could speak English which made it pretty awkward

Not a bad price considering rates elsewhere in the same area The room was basic could use upgrading and smelled like smoke badly but at least was clean I wouldn’t recommend

Tiffany Auberg

We live in Idaho 7+ hours away and had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay first I called koa in Burlington and they were absolutely super super rude and wouldn’t let us come in late I called three rivers and talked to Maria and she was awesome she said I will hold the room and talk to my manager Very very nice, helpful and actually wanting our business

One of the best if not the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at, and this is my normal go to hotel Seemed exceptionally clean and the breakfast options/quality were above average Location is in a quiet and secure felling area

There is easy close access to gas, groceries, restaurants and some shopping My room was set up well the bed was comfortable, it had a nice TV with a fairly large variety of channels I spent three nights there and I found no real negatives with the hotel

Deborah Evans

A true pet friendly hotel They have a fenced grassy area that was so great for our dogs Breakfast was very good with lots of options

Rooms were clean and comfy All of the staff that we met were pleasant and helpful Located near lots of restaurants and shopping One of the things I noticed is how quiet it was even though the hotel was full If we are in the area again, we will stay here

Ian Stroszeck

Had a great nights sleep with an excellent free hot breakfast in the morning Very clean and modern decor too Staff was courteous and kind

Only gripe with the room was the barn door bathroom doors They have HUGE gaps that make using the bathroom, if staying with someone else, not feel private Noise-wise too Definitely not a deal breaker especially since most of the Hilton hotels have them, but I really wish it was just a regular door, or at least a door that somewhat sealed

I absolutely love everything about thischarming hotel; from the warm friendly staff, to the decor, the ambiance and the story of hotel planter LaConner is the quintessential artist community, with hotel planter being the historical quarters the town’s artist community would take shelter It sits quaintly on the corner end of the main drag

This place is pretty gross The staff thankfully are quite friendly Both when checking in very late at night and day shift are all pleasant which is the only saving grace

If we hadn’t checked in basically middle of night we would’ve left They have laminate flooring in rooms which is good because I’m sure the carpet would’ve been nasty The room has a Smokey musty smell There’s no mold to be seen and it’s old smoke smell not new so it’s not a health issue but it’s not pleasant Bathroom had areas where needed repair around shower Faucet and toilet in decent condition The room was clean but didn’t feel good Definitely don’t cheap out here, spend $40 extra and get a better place I will be providing similar feedback to Days Inn as this chain has now been written off on the authorized hotel chains to stay at

Emily Hartig

If Covid was a hotel this would be itFilthy, filthy and even more filthy We were placed in room 279 it had a huge ant problem the toilet also leaked every time you flush

The front desk person was nice enough to move my family and I to another room, room 271 You’d think it would be better, right? WRONG Blood splatters were on the walls of the bathroom The staff flat out lied to our face and claimed they gave us clean towels when they didn’t even pick up the towels we had already in the room The bedsheets were not changed the whole week we were there and who knows if they even changed the sheets before we went into that room Every time you walk out into your room you’re greeted with cigarette smoke from people who are smoking inside their roomsBEWARE: These people will charge you on your credit cards and claim it’s a glitch I would HIGHLY recommend you lock your credit card or whatever card you’re using at this place to avoid them charging you extra fees that were never discussed with you

Yong Park

Hotel very dated old and musty smells coming from room Molds in bathroom and common areas Pool is very small and bottom of pool has a lot of chips very dangerous for guests

Location shared parking with public business Management doesn’t seem to care to update building or at least repair rooms and smells Beds need to be changed as they are old and flimsy Bed sheets are old and has holes Breakfast is okay give out cereal and muffins and bread but sadly the juice machine is old and need to be replacedToo many Fruit flies near juice machine This was the cheapest hotel in area but you are better off paying more for tulip inn or la quinta inn even best western

Awesome hotel stay! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the person who checked us in (I don’t remember their name) was very nice and was able to answer any questions we had The rooms were nice and clean The breakfast was not the best, but what can you expect – it a complementary hotel breakfast

First time visiting here It was a nice small casino I won a little bit so that’s always a plus

My husband noticed there were no table games, which was a tiny bit disappointing for him I didn’t mind, I love the slotsWe ate at the little cafe Food was very, very good They were understaffed, which is common these days, but the staff they had did a great job Checked on us often, even before our food showed up

Aimee Nicole (Bambi)

I had fun but lost all $80 I brought on slots in less than 1 hour playing low bets Seems the machines are tighter than my

ahemsorry, nevermind Anyways, I still had a great time There is a pretty decent selection of games to play and the environment is nice looking I’ve never had food here but I can imagine it’s okay at least I like to go as often as I can as long as I have money I can afford to lose because as much as I hope? It’s just not often I go home with money from this place That is to be expected when you’re gambling though unfortunately Definitely check it out!

Usually when you book in advance like 2 weeks out, you would think that you would get a better rate… I booked at $17910 before tax almost 2 weeks before my arrival date, but when I checked their rates on my check-in date, the same room was listed at $13000

What a joke Also, this place is extremely noisy Paper thin walls so you can hear everything the weird next door people are saying and doing at 2am None of the doors have the door closer calibrated so all the doors are constantly slamming shut when you are trying to sleep The water heater broke and so there was no hot water on one of the nights and one of the guest told me they were still selling their rooms without mentioning there is no hot water When we called the front desk to ask what was happening with the hot water, they didn’t bother answering the phone They were pretty rude in general The gym never had any towels available, so you have to get them from the pool At least have some decent coffee but no that’s asking too much I would never recommend or come back to this place

Vladislav Vancák

We only stayed in the hotel for one night, and overall the experience was quite positive – the room was (by my standards) very large The beds were OK, a bit squeaky in places The shower was nice, but the door handle was very loose and will definitely come off in the upcoming days

Unfortunately, we found some hair in the room lobby and in the bathroom After we complained, the front desk lady gave us a vacuum and we had to clean the floor ourselves However, given the price tag for this place I’d still recommend this hotel – yes, it’s not the most modern or fancy, but it’s still a decent place for a fair price

Jack Otto

Booked a room here for my mother in law who was getting treatment at the hospital Super clean hotel and it’s relatively new Hot breakfast every morning

Fitness room and indoor pool as well I wished I was staying here Super friendly staff too If you are looking for a hotel in the Mount Vernon area be sure to check this hotel out!

Had the King room Was clean and comfortable Larger room than typical room

Also had a couch Assume it is a pullout, but we didn’t need another bed so never checked It was nice to sit up rather than having to sit or lay on the bed Only thing is a loud bathroom fan, however not a big deal Breakfast was what I would expect from a hotel Staff was pleasant Never used the pool so I don’t have a comment for it

Viviane Xiong

The room was clean and the location was good as it was off the freeway However, the customer service treatment was extremely poor and the noise was horrible I made the reservation a month ago for multiple rooms

When I realized I need a connecting room, I immediately called the hotel I was told they was put my request on my reservation At 4:00 PM of the day of my arrival, I realized I will not arrive at the establishment until 7ish, I called the establishment and was informed I will not get a reconnecting room And, the room will not be next to each other The room will be several hundred yard apart I was already disappointed I didn’t get a connecting room However, I was extremely upset when I check-in, I discovered that the two rooms are indeed several hundred yards apart and it will be separate by the elevator My room was next to the elevator and the other room was on top of their the dinning room Throughout the night, the elevator kept waking me up I previously stay at this establishment and had an exceptional experience Now I am regretting my decision If I am in Burlington, WA, I will seek other establishments Or I will drive a little further north or south of Burlington and staying at other establishments I understand a connecting room may not feasible but I find it hard to believe that the hotel cannot put the two rooms next to each other or across from each other Throughout this ordeal, the hotel didn’t apologize except we may not able to accommodate your request With the amount I paid for this establishment, I could have stay at four or five star hotel

J.D. Prowse

Sadly, the Hot tub was out of order during my stay It is quickly becoming a joke with peers, like how the ice cream machine is down whenever you go to that fast food burger joint, all three of my stays this year at every Holiday Inn have had at least one day, if not all three where I could not use pool or hot tub facilities At least this one had proper posting and signage

The pool facility is very nice looking and well kept Additionally, I had the print out from the big name corporate booking, but since I was not entrusted with the corporate credit card, the desk agent didn’t move past the reservation number At least it was explained the need for their internal CCA form, so I can avoid this problem of having to go back and get the stay expensed out None of the other coworkers encountered this issue in their front desk experience The breakfast was good, coffee is in a separate area, along with the kurig in the room I liked the lighting and furniture in the room, effective use of the space for spreading out Got a fair amount of work done in the room

We stayed here for our 16 year anniversary and were pleasantly surprised It felt like a hotel and a bed and breakfast mixed together, if that makes sense It was very quiet, rooms were nice and well maintained

It’s less than a 10 minute walk to down town The breakfast was very good, except we wished there was an option for just eggs and sausage instead of one the mornings options We wouldn’t hesitate coming back

Jessica Cunningham

This is the most delightful place to stay The rooms are gorgeous and clean with very thoughtful touches like makeup remover towels The staff was very accommodating of my grandma who required a wheelchair access room

They remembered her and followed up at breakfast to make sure she was taken care of Everyone there is extremely kind and caring and the breakfast was next level good The morning I was there I was able to try a fresh frittata and blueberry French toast in addition to fresh baked muffins and fresh fruit The lobby and common areas are so cute and well decorated I can’t wait to return The vibe is so comfortable and sweet It feels like coming home

Stayed one night a while back, room was clean and had no unusual smells Bed was comfortable, but the best part was their hot breakfast Not many places have started that back up and I miss it, the food was typical for hotel breakfast, but tagged better because I missed it

Staff was friendly and helpfulI have 4 stars because there was noise from kids and other rooms Thin walls appear to be the new way to save a dollar on building cost, but other than the nose it was a good stay Good enough that I’m staying again this weekend

Pet friendly which was a big deal for my stay and they made sure my pup was as welcomed as we were Rooms were very clean, spoke with housekeeping outside of our room and they were so polite and helpful to our needs! The breakfast was great bonus and my only issue is with other pet owners, clean up after your pets! We will be back soon and will definitely make this our place to stay!

They have a nice clean smell that they pump through the air ducts, so it smells pleasant and clean everywhere Rooms are basic, but clean Found a to go box of food in the back top of the refrigerator that wasn’t ours, so I have to deduct a little for that

The pool was nice, but small and a little cold and the hot tub was nice, but more like a “very warm” tub and the jets seemed to actually make it feel slightly less warm The three coffee carafes that were still out in the lobby in the evening we’re all empty, except one that was one cup from empty and seemed to be left over from the morning There were no other beverages offered in the lobby except water from a drinking fountain Overall nice, but packing in some of the finer details
