I think the best things about this hotel are the location, the beds, and the staff Upon arriving after driving for 8 hours, the front desk receptionist was kind, gracious, and informative so we really appreciate that! The beds were super cozy and comfortable and the hotel is nicely situated off a main road so we didn’t hear any noise and slept wonderfully What I wasn’t a fan of is the fact that the room was not checked throughly when being cleaned and to me – that’s just gross

The trash hadn’t been taken out, the coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned/filter removed, dishwasher was dirty, eating utensils were missing, and the bathtub was kind of dirty and less than desirable when all you want to do is take a bath These things don’t seem like a big deal but customers have a choice when selecting hotels and I’m someone who predominantly supports Marriott and have stayed at their properties 50+ times but decided to venture outside my comfort zone, only to arrive and wish I had just stayed inside of it

WOW! had my first stay at Home2 on February 5 I really like this chain This hotel was new and sparkling clean

The rooms (we had 2) were super-spacious and well stocked The bed was very comfortable I loved the full fridge and a decent microwave We had to leave before breakfast unfortunately I would like breakfast to start earlier I love Hilton’s virtual key Highly recommend this spot!

Casey Kasten

Our overall experience at this hotel wasn’t the best The woman working the front desk was very kind, but besides that we were very disappointed When we stepped off the elevator to the 2nd floor the first thing we saw was an overflowing trash can

Outside of our room there was a very disgusting, unknown substance Inside the room there was hair in the sink and in the tub The carpet had noticeable stains everywhere and my husband’s socks were black from walking in the room The tan colored couch was also covered in stains We will definitely not be returning

Great place! Full kitchen and large fridge, ready really well cleaned Like pick up fallen food off the food and still eat it cleanThe staff here are always helpful and kind

Just a great place I come back every year

Comparing this to the RI in Cincinnati that we had just stayed at This property is older, furniture dated, no USB ports That said, the room was very clean

Bathrooms looked like they had been recently updated Breakfast was not great Not many options, in comparison to the Cincinnati location which had eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and bagels to toast The two bedroom option was a good size for an extended stay and the kitchen had all the necessities which was great Beds and pillows were comfortable No luggage racks in the room, but decent closet space and drawers for clothing TVs were not smart TVs Outdoor pool was great and not busy during the day Location was very convenient, and in a nice part of Lexington, with lots of shopping and restaurants a 2-5 minute drive away Great walking path close by, as well Laundry facilities were $2 a load to wash and $2 to dry Dryers did not work well; needed to run a 2nd cycle We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor close to the side entrance and stairwell which was convenient to go up and down (just one flight of stairs) to the car in the parking lot Overall, a pleasant stay and would probably stay again

We have a 2 bedroom suite I’ve been here for a week and staying for at least a month They keep it clean-ish, don’t come to my room everyday

They should have smart TV’s in the suites as most people use them for extended stays Mostly use my phone or laptop to watch tv even though we have 3 TV’s They’ve loaded my dish washer once this week which was nice, didn’t expect it Wish they still have a hot tub but they filled it in with concrete The pool has never been open the full hours it says it is supposed to be The free hot breakfast could use some improvement Low quality food It’s all packaged food and just heated up I mostly cook my meals in my full kitchen Hotels I usually stay have plenty on coffee options, they have bold or decaf here Coffee is usually old or cold throughout the day, even a couple times during breakfast Everyone is really nice and attentiveGlad home owners insurance is paying and not me Overall a good experience but not great I’ve stayed in worse hotels, but also much betterAwesome location! They have trails here I normally drive to from home but don’t have to because it’s a one minute bike ride to the trail Plenty of restaurants options and shopping Right behind Meijers which is great for grocery shopping considering I have a full kitchen in my room

Room was neat, clean, no bedbugs and roomy enough for my wife and me The bed was comfortable and cozyBreakfast was a variety of quick things to pick up and take away

cereal, fruit, bagelsThe best parts of the stay were the coffee you can get all day and ROXY, the desk clerkRoxy checked us inwas so kind, welcoming and friendly The next morning, Roxy was not only working the desk but was making sure breakfast items were stocked and the biscuit/sausages were warmThere was another gentleman at the desk as well but that young lady was pretty well running things herself 👏🏾🙂

Stayed at this hotel when I visited in town The hotel is very clean and the room is very comfortable and good size for just staying The hotel staff is very friendly and professional manner

I used a fitness room while I am staying The fitness equipments are still new and well maintained The breakfast is very simple and nothing fancy I usually have a simple breakfast, so it is enough for me and I like it’s free! I would like to stay this hotel when I visited in town again next time

Starr Watkins

Stay was okay, beds are comfortable, lobbies aren’t crowded However, the rooms are very small and the price quoted online is not the price you pay when you arrive Hotel was $110/night, we ended up being charged $134 and $128

Breakfast is okay, but most of it is to-go items and the hot breakfast item is a heated frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich Housekeeping came while we were gone and only changed the toilet paper, didn’t give us new towels or fill up the empty body wash in the shower They also allow dogs and there was a dog barking in the next room from 6 am until 9 am If you’d rather stay somewhere with better amenities & spacious rooms, Marriot Courtyard is right down the street Or save your money and get a cheaper, decent motel

Matthew, Ida, and Susan were amazing staff members Our room was wonderful Breakfast was delicious

The return filter in our room needed a good cleaning, but as soon as we notified staff, they apologized and put the work order in We have lots of food allergies and restrictions, but we were able to eat most of the breakfast My husband had to skip the omelette, which he was really disappointed about, and we had to purchase a small container of oat milk ourselves for our child with a milk allergy, but we were able to make it all work and enjoy breakfast together Would love to see more allergy-friendly options at all hotels in general, not just this one, but we do love Hilton and would be so grateful if this could end up being a chain-wide update

harry mallari

I’ll be here for a while, and so far, I’ve been enjoying my stay The staff is friendly The rooms are clean

They have a rotating menu every day for breakfast There are days that they serve soup for dinner However, the kitchen areas are a little bit smaller and manageableEdit:There has been a lot of car theft in the area, which is disturbing In a few months I have been here, I saw 2-3 cars break-in The place is not safe if say

Michael Lee

Very nice place to stay Room, bathroom, little kitchen, and little living room they were all clean and very nice to be in I am here with my fiancee for her work and it was a nice place to stay at

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and liked it The location is great And so is the area

But it has been on the decline My room has had holes in all kind of furniture Chairs fabric ripped off And a big yellow stain on the mattress For this hotel I’m am shocked and appalled I will most likely never return Don’t risk staying here

Probably the definition of middle of the road Not too bad, not too good The staff made everything much better, so please know that your hard work does not go unnoticed! Everyone was very nice and helpful

The rooms were clean and I adored how comfy the pillows were Beds were a bit firm for my taste and my bathroom ceiling was flaking off from water damage The shower randomly cut off a couple of times per shower for no apparent reason, so that was weird Other than those slight annoyances, I loved that breakfast lasted till 10am and checkout wasn’t until 12pm That definitely made things more convenient Overall, this hotel is okay I would stay again if I had to

Sharon Michele Crivolio

This hotel is definitely a three-star + hotel! Beautiful, clean rooms Very ample amenities, and excellent staff I was surprised that I received a discount as a result of my stay being due to a close family member being hospitalized at Baptist Health Hospital

It’s proximity to that (3 miles away) and other major Lexington hospitals is a huge benefit

Bunny King

It’s not bad It’s not exceptionally great It’s clean enough

Rooms weren’t bad but they could do a better job keeping the lobby clean The floor had some spills, the dish holding the fruit was sticky Breakfast wasn’t great It was ok They do have waffles, cereal, bagels & cream cheese Not sure I would opt for the hot food options Oatmeal and eggs were very watery Nor would I eat the fresh fruit I saw the guy using his bare hands while cutting the pineapple Maybe they could use gloves while preparing the food The lady tending to the spread was sweet The ladies at the front desk were nice Laundry facilities were decent A decent gym The pool area seemed cluttered There seems to be a defunct bar area by the pool that may be used for storage now A laundry cart was right out by the pool too The area seems nice during the day, but definitely some sketchy activity at night Great location to the hospital Just what we needed I’d stay here again, if needed

We had to book very last minute but they were very helpful in finding two rooms for us Even they offered a very nice deal to our family;) When we arrived very late we were greeted very nicely He even offered apple juice or milk for our small children! The rooms were nice and clean

The next morning we were pleasantly surprised with the hot breakfast bar!! It was more than we expected If your stopping by the area choose here and we will come back again too!! Thank you 😉

We stayed 2 nights Conveniently located Absolutely loved the mini kitchen with counter burners, refrigerator with ice maker, full size microwave, dishwasher and even a garbage disposal

It was quiet even during 4th of July fireworks The free breakfast was well stocked and many choices including biscuits and gravy Hotel supplies free bottled water and coffee at all times The swimming pool was sparkling clean but note the hotel recommends 5 people limit in the pool It is 16×24 and plenty of room around the pool It was equipped with a handicap lift Beds had crisp white bedding and very comfy I had reserved a king suite with a roll in shower and it was not available, even though I had called to make sure they reserved it for us They gave us a double queen with a roll in shower no big deal It was on the backside of the elevators and we could hear when it went up and down not bad just sounded like an air conditionerOver all an excellent stay at a reasonable rate

Alan Arnold

Would definitely book a room here in the future We stayed in a studio with 2 queens beds Fully functional kitchen and nice dining room table

Large bathroom and we slept great Some kids upstairs were making a decent amount of noise right up until we turned off the lights and we heard nothing else the rest of the night Loved the shower Tons of water pressure and flow They provide a large bottle of shampoo and body wash mounted in the shower However our body wash was empty… The BATH TOWELS WERE AMAZING! Large and extra thick You could use them to pad carpet lolOverall the hotel was immaculate I’ve stayed in a lot of places as Covid restrictions have eased and many hotels were not cleaning vacant rooms adequately Not the case here The place was spotless Bright and modern Large breakfast area with a nice selection

My room here was very nice and I loved that there was no carpet on the floors The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful I really appreciated that they had bottled water at the front desk

I was here for a conference and the food served during our meetings was very good I had the opportunity to use the spa and they were fantastic! One of the best massages I’ve ever had The only negative I had was there were a couple of paths that didn’t have handrails and one that wasn’t lit very well at night I would stay here again

Allison Timm

We stayed for a family wedding Room rate is way over priced There was a view of the room and there are hardly any drawers in the rooms to put clothes in

Bed sheets had holes in them My moms room was so dusty there was writing on the window My brothers room had left over hair in the tub They messed up the wedding block so we were not together The restaurant takes FOREVER no matter how big your party size is I understand being short staffed for wait times but the 2 days I got breakfast there my order was wrong and it had to be fixed Short staff doesn’t create an excuse for wrong orders The only thing I can say good about this hotel was a comfy bed, thank god there was Starbucks coffee, and free water in the lobby

Sarah Peterson

Enjoyed the room and the outdoor pool on our recent stay There was also a great bike trail across the road and the hotel provided bikes and helmets and had them ready for us But the best part was Laura who we encountered at the front desk

We were celebrating my 40th birthday and on our last night we returned to a super thoughtful card from staff and a slice of cake and wine Really meant a lot and this is why we always stay with Marriott! Thanks Laura!!

My husband and I made reservations to stay at this location on our travels to upstate NYWe checked in right at 3pm and requested 1st floor Mike was awesome and able to accommodate which is never guaranteed

The room was extremely clean and bed very comfortable Breakfast was what we expected and nice to have something before our long drive We were so happy with this hotel I made reservations on our return Only issue for this stay was the door was so heavy to open and slow to close I would recommend this hotel Great location and plenty of choices for restaurants!

I stay at Hampton inns all across the country, never had a bad experience but this one stands out as the best when it comes to hospitality! They are over the top in making me feel welcome when I arrive, good old fashioned southern hospitality, rooms are always clean as well as the entire facility Parking is a little tight in the front if you drive a large SUV or full size truck but there’s another lot in the back with plenty of room for larger vehicles

Where do I begin Was given incorrect directions as to where our room was located so we could use the most convenient door for entry It was on the opposite side of the hotel as we were instructed

Outdoor key pad at that door didn’t even work after we had moved our vehicle once we found out we were on opposite side Elevators were not clean Went to check out pool and the entry door to the pool area was unlocked (key access not needed must have been broken) which was a safety issue The hot tub wasn’t working, it was taped and blocked off with pool chairs And there was literally 6 towels on the towel rack The bar was not open like advertised The ice machine on our floor did not work I would definitely not come back

A Google User

Room too cold No routine in room housekeeping services provided during guest stays, terrible considering the high rates Marriott quality is slipping

Room has some dirty soiled spots on the carpet and stains on the wall in the bathroom Service is very poor Overall the experience was disappointing Top dollar charged for less than satisfactory accommodations or service Complimentary breakfast was not provided Front desk clerk acted like she was doing us a favor at check-in Asked “why are you here?” which was none of her business TV programming selection stinks Body wash dispenser in the shower tub was empty, finished shower with their pre-packed soap slivers Hotel is outdated, even lacks USB ports to charge cell phones or other electronic equipment Heard guests on the floor above walking, bouncing or stomping on the floor all night, the noise made sleep very difficult Bed very uncomfortable A terrible stay overall! Did not feel like a valued customer or a welcome guest and checked out early

Marty Cassady

I’m surprised this hotel still gets so many stars That will be changing soon, I am sure I would not stay here again

It was a decent place to sleep with a lot of problems The hot tub was roped off closed with no explanation The fitness room was 89° and the air would not cool it down The fire pit was not turned on, and none of the cushions have been put on the outdoor furniture even though we are well into spring The security door to the courtyard area is completely missing, leaving it open to the back parking lot The shelves for the snack pantry were basically empty And the back door, which has a sign saying it requires a key for entry for the security of guests, was completely unlocked It really felt like nearly every little detail is going overlooked Maybe they are short staffed But this place is nothing special at the current time

Had to deal with ants the whole stay There were many times where staff told me the next day wasn’t booked and then it was after I paid Staff needs to worry about their gifts and not their puppy dogs

I was told no about a dog but the staff had dogs Made no sense to me Best part about that place was the housekeepers they really kept your room clean and the trash gone restocked towels without even asking and the breakfast I thought they had a great breakfast The hotel itself is cozy spacious rooms none of it is smoking I like that other than that they need to work on some things

THIS HOTEL IS NASTY!!! Had nasty stains on our sheets and bed skirt, bathroom FULL of mold, A/C had dirt caked on it like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, cobwebs on the walls and spiders and centipedes on the floor in our room and bathroom The staff looks extremely unprofessional This place is awful

They need to do the town a favor and bulldoze this hotel! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Lyndsey Jane

The front desk and lobby were niceroom was actually disgusting

Im not a picky person when it comes to hotels (especially when im just traveling) but my room had black mold all over the bathroom, carpets were obviously not vacuumed (bugs, food crumbs, and toe nail clippings on the floor), had a blood stain on the comforter, walls are PAPER thin, brown stains on the walls, a loud toilet that keeps trying to refill itself without even touching it, and so many other gross stains on everything TRUST mejust go somewhere else

Our visit started a little rough in the beginning, we were arriving with a baby and toddler very late at night and they couldn’t find a crib Thankfully after 2 hours they were able to find out The next morning, my wife was waiting by the elevators and because the other elevator was being repaired, it took a long time that she missed breakfast time with our kids

I thought could the stay get any worse Well I am going to share with you the exceptional costumer service Marcelo had Juan, from maintenance saw that my wife had missed breakfast and informed Marcelo He quickly offered to give us a voucher to eat at the other hotels restaurant From day on every day Marcelo treated us like family, attending to all of our needs I am so impressed with the ability of such good costumer service Same as Juan! This hotel is beyond lucky to have these 2 individuals working for them I have never gotten better treatment in any of the Marriotts like Marcelo did They need a raise!!!! Until this day we still talk about Marcelo in our home and the impression he left in my wife and kids!

They said it’d be about 20 mins An hour goes by, I call to check on it and front desk said they’ll inquire and get back with me within 10 min About 5 mins later, the manager called to apologize and said she’d have them remake my order and at half cost At this point, I cancelled the order and made other arrangements Got checked out next morning, and then just a few minutes ago I get another random “Thank you for staying” email I call to see what that was about and the front desk informs me that there was a charge for in room water ($5) used which I never touched It seems like trying to squeeze money out of me since I cancelled my food order last night after they dropped the ball Also parking is $12 a day so keep that in mind

My family and I are Lexington locals We had an unfortunate emergency sewer pipe block that caused severe leak and our home unlivable With a toddler on spring break and husband that works remote, we needed to find a last minute home away from home with unique accommodations

Natasha, Peter, Marcelo and everyone from staff to management went above and beyond to make our troubling and inconvenient instance as comfortable as possible In fact, a hand delivered bag of bath toys for our toddler is just one example of how they went above and beyond during the duration of our stay Thank you Residence! We highly recommend this hotel

We loved our anniversary stay! Every detail of the hotel felt carefully curated and like an experience, something I’ve never said about any other hotel or accommodations The shower is to die for! The art throughout the hotel is fascinating and I love that it’s from a local artist For the sake of a review I’ll say the bedding wasn’t my favorite as it felt like you laid ON it rather than cozied into it, but it still didn’t dull the overall shine of 21c

Would definitely stay again!

The 21C Lexington was once modern, artsy and chic We were looking forward for our business trip as always and found, a disgusting dirty room, stained floors which need professional cleaning, hair and dirt in the bathroom, shower, it was disappointing on all levels The pandemic /change of ownership left its traces, no upgrades and the art collection was far from well curated as it used to be

We upgraded the room and moved in a suite, which had a cleaner carpet, obviously not booked as often as the king rooms, however no real upgrade feeling except the price The nicest hotel in Lexington, with the most comfortable beds, became a nightmare we had to move out Mattresses are new and very uncomfortable firm, it feels like laying on the bed instead of on the bedThe street noise was always a downside in the 21C which we looked over by sleeping with ear plugs Nothing is making up for it anymorePro : the restaurant was great and nicely remodeled

Overall very good Rooms were not as clean as we like (major carpet stains) but the beds were comfy Didn’t like to have to go down to the front desk to get ice, coffee or towels (only 2 towels)

Staff was very pleasant and helpful Location to to Rupp arena is awesome and there is an awesome restaurant next door (Zim’s) Parking is very difficult so we did valet parking for $30 day Shower leaked all over the floor

The Murder Mystery Dinner was an incredible experience! Our event was held inside as opposed to on the rooftop due to the hot weather, which was perfectly fine by me The room in which the event took place was finely decorated and well set up with 8 round tables and a bar in the corner First course of appetizers was brought out promptly at 7 and the other courses were perfectly delivered throughout the rest of the evening by the attentive and professional waitstaff

The food was outstanding, at times unique, and filling I would visit again to just try the restaurant As far as the theatrical part, I was blown away by the incredible acting of all those involved The actors were sure to put on a show and fully embodied their characters, it was most entertaining Overall, an absolute enjoyable experience- perfect for a date night, a night out solo, or with a group of friends!

Thank you for such a nice stay! Everyone was extremely friendly and check in was easy! Our room was great and enjoyed the sound machine for sleeping at night Love the personalization with a special card when we arrived and fresh flowers For dinner, we went to their restaurant, Castle Farm, and we started off with the ravioli and asparagus salad which were both great! Our entrees (braised short rib & black and blue strip) were delicious and cooked perfectly

We also had breakfast before we left the next morning, which was tasty and piping hotJordan made our visit extra special and was a great bartender with delicious cocktails!

I booked the Grand King Deluxe for my wife’s special birthday and every element of our stay was exquisite The room was immaculate, it had everything we needed (thank you for the white-noise machine – not that we needed it; I just can’t sleep without it), the bed was comfortable, the staff was accommodating, etc and the next morning my wife and her friend’s enjoyed a wonderful brunch

I’m told all the plates were cleaned and all reports were very positive Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We definitely picked this Hampton location vs others in Lexington based on price (including Marriott’s) of both room rate and pet feeComing north on I-75 and getting into town at 5:30p traffic was a nightmare and took a good 30 minutes from the interstateWe were greeted by a very nice young lady and check- in was fast

We found the same ancient and tiny room referenced by a previous guest For two people and a dog we were stepping all over each other in the 2 queen room, and it was a feat to close the bathroom door if you were actually in it – remodeling isn’t likely to fix that At first glance the room looked old but clean, but then the dog found stuff on the floor to try and eat, and going over surfaces (nightstand, bathroom counter, desk) with our Clorox wipes we found they had dried up stuff on them UghThere are pictures taped on the wall of the hallway of what may be future upgrades, but until that happens I would not return to or recommend this location There are 3 other hotels across the parking lot… pick one of those not the closet filled with furniture from your grandparents garage Sorry HI

Pros: Staff is super friendly The ground floor common areas were nice Coffee was hot – even during the evening hours

They offered complimentary snacks with check-inCons: The AC/Heat was too loud Made for a cold night’s sleep The hallways looked tired – specifically the carpet The chairs in the room were a little threadbare

Elizabeth Walker

There is no pool There is no mention of this on the website and we were not told at check-in A check-in that took 20 minutes

The beds are also extremely hard I asked to speak to the Manager because we only chose this hotel for the pool and was told someone would call and have yet to receive a call or even an apology I would recommend a hotel that cares about customer service

If you don’t want to shower at your hotel, add three stars to this review If you plan on showering, subtract these twoThe room was pretty, the bed was comfy, and then the water was cold

The desk man came to feel it, after advising us to “give it a few minutes,” and claimed that the room-temp-at-best water was warm I said, “You’ve showered before, right? You can’t shower in that” I asked for a room with warm water He said maybe too many people had showered, and we could checkout at 12 instead of 11 This was a major disappointment after such a promising location and rest

Do not let the 2 star fool you It’s a great hotel I have stayed at a lot of hotels across this country

And it’s hard to give a number one But this hotel and my experience with Shelly, is above and beyond The friendliness’s and the hospitality is above par The room was clean and even smelled nice No cleaner or chemical smells Bed felt amazing And even the other guest were seemed happy and smiling 10/10 one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at

While traveling in Kentucky, my friends and I found ourself in a bind due to our previous hotel being unable to extend our stay So I had to find something available, and thankfully Guest House offered us the solution we needed While we only stayed for a day, we were treated nicely by the staff and had two fantastic rooms

I read many of the reviews prior to selecting this hotel, and most of them were good while a few were slightly alarming Some of the things I saw involved a rude desk employee, musty rooms, mold, and dirty floors-but my friends and I experienced none of this Our rooms were fantastic, especially considering how last minute of a reservation we made The tv had access to numerous channels, which made down time even more enjoyable Checking out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced too Love the horse-inspired designs of the rooms as well! All in all, a great hotel that won’t break the bank and helps any weary travelers in need of a place to park Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful The rooms were very nice and decorated modern

location was great, restaurants and shopping was nice Could walk everywhere The rooms and hall was very quite bathroom was large and well lit however there was no safety bars or a bamboo seat hard for a woman to shave her legs with out slipping pillows not good so bring your own or go to target and buy one bed was nice Restaurant food was good But not a large selection

Meagan Warfield

The hotel is beautiful I love the location It’s close to a bunch of little shops and restaurants, so you can walk around and not have to worry about more driving or finding parking

The room was exceptionally clean The beds are comfortable as well The TV offers cable channels but you can also sign into apps like Netflix or YouTube so you have more options for shows if you just want to spend time in your room The gym also has a variety of machines and equipment so you can keep up on your workout routine Overall, I was really impressed with the hotel and will be back

Courtney Farley

Loved the location Walking distance to an outdoor shopping mall and restaurants Playground/run around area for kids to get energy out and the hotel let us use it as a bathroom place for our dogs (cleaned up after them)

Lobby is great to hang out in No microwaves in rooms but does have Keurig Would definitely stay again Friendly staff at the front desk as well
