It’s definitely one of the best hotels we stayed in I thought the prices were very fair considering how clean, fancy, and spacious the rooms are The staff is very nice and friendly

My only complaints is the fact that there was no housekeeping during our three-night stay They only changed towels if you requested extra in the morning Also, I wish there were more breakfast options The elevator did stop working for a day, but luckily was fixed before check out since we were in the fifth floor Other than that, it was a great experience The kids loved the bunk beds!

Ashley Jax

Really lovely hotel! The staff was very kind and personable Only thing I didn’t necessarily like is the lighting I got up 3 times in the middle of the night to turn the lights off

They would come on every time I moved The bed was also fairly hard as well All in all it’s a really nice hotel and I love how close it is to the parks so I will be back for sure

Outdoors With Shawn

The only thing (and it’s trivial) is the room was a bit loud with no carpet in it But with that being said, the room was spotless and comfy Highly recommended

EDIT: After this stay, we stayed 3 nights at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios That room was nice, but for the money this hotel room was nicer The resort itself was stunning don’t get me wrong But for the price I paid there I was expecting moreThe staff here was very friendly and professional They treated me with respect, were very friendly and answered all my questions The bartender was nice as well The prices on the snacks and drinks in the lobby was reasonable and the free coffee wasn’t bad at all for “hotel coffee”

This was by far the best stay that I’ve experienced I’ve stayed in multiple hotels and they have never been this accommodating Friendly front desk

The breakfast was my favorite part The buffet style had a little bit of everything It was all fresh Nothing cold or stale From now on I will be taking my business to you guys I wish there was a later check out option but overall this was an amazing experience!

Brien Fincham

Hotel looked brand new, Lobby was very nice and front desk was super friendly, check in was easy Great Price, room was great and very clean Bed was very comfortable

Only complaint would be the in room coffee machine didn’t work but the free continental breakfast made up for it Omelets, Fresh make yourself waffles, sausage, breakfast potatoes and all the regular continental Breakfast stuff Overall stay was amazing and would definitely stay again, great location

Katy Snyder

Let me start by saying I have always been a loyal Hilton property guest My family and I love the Hampton inns however after this experience, I will never stay at any Hilton property again My 3 kids and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights

On the fourth day of our stay we were at Magic Kingdom We came back to take a break before heading back out to go to the fireworks and catch a couple more rides While we were out I had a large amount of cash stolen The cash was not out in the open It was in a box buried in my bag Someone had to have rummaged through my things to get to it and took it all except the change and gift and credit cards This was our food money, play money and souvenir money Not only did we not get to go back to the park because I had to file a police report and wait for her to get fingerprints off our items I’m out all of our food/fun money Kelly who works at the front desk I have to say was extremely nice and empathetic which I appreciated but the manager Issac didn’t want to accept any wrong doing in the Properties part He told me the only person in the room had been there two months and was fully cooperative and denied any wrong doing He also told me the cameras they have in the hallways do not work He insinuated that I was lying Then got angry when I started to cry and accused me of being hostile and attacking him Issac could definitely benefit on some costumer service skills and how to treat others when they are being victimized and are nervous and scared He was extremely unprofessional and very condescending He also said I should have had travelers insurance Also to add to this the rooms upon arrival were not up to Hampton standards for being clean Dissatisfied, disappointed and angered to say the least!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure!Really nice place The staff are all so genuinely helpful and proactive in making sure you have a good stay Rooms are quiet and comfy The fridge in the room is great to have Different food options on property and tons of other restaurants all around Pool was nice and clean

Kris Barr

We stayed for a duration of 4 nights and had a great time For this to be such a large hotel and for conventions/conferences there was never really a bother Not a lot of loud noise in the halls at night

Our room was cleaned upon arrival and was cleaned everyday by hotel service Even though it was tons of people there were never really long lines as the front desk All front desk people were helpful and knowledgeableThere is only 1 pool and when it gets full, it was full so we didn’t get to use that much Only negative was that our AC stopped working the very last night there at like 3:00am We didn’t bother calling because it was super early and we were checking out Not sure what was up with that

Taylor H

Stayed here for a duration of four nights during a Window Cleaning convention, and had a great time There were several other conventions going on in the same giant building, but the layout would never have you know, as it was very spacious and comfortable Within the plaza lies several restaurants: Sushi, Seafood, Mexican, and American- of course adorned with liquor and booze- but still never lacking in quality

Within there’s also a coffee shop, a clothing store, a gym, and a magnificent pool area This hotel also happens to be the heart of many surrounding restaurants and convenience stores, museums, and attractions too The Ripley’s museum (highly recommend for adults and kids) and the Upside Down House (also recommend) are also nearby Hotel rooms were clean and tidy, with luxury amenities All in all, had a wonderful stay here 🙂

Nice place, great deal on a busy weekend Spacious 2 bedroom suites have a king bed bedroom, 2 queen bed separate bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a living room with pullout couch Very comfy

Julio from Security was super nice, ran out of towels late night at pool and went out of his way to get them for us!Breakfast at the coffee bar was great!

Caprecia Wilson

My stay here was amazing! I want to thank Roxanne at the first desk for being absolutely phenomenal and going above and beyond to ensure I still had a great experience after a very frustrating day I stayed in a 2 bedroom king/queen suite The suite was very clean and offered everything I needed to cook a meal in the kitchen area

Beds were very comfortable and I got great rest There’s a nice pool and a huge jacuzzi on property I would recommend this place and will be staying again for my next staycation!!

Damon Wagoner

Full Disclosure: My brother-in-law works for Sonesta and he secured this room for us as a gift Having said that, we looked up their rates and felt they were more than fair for what you get – two separate bedrooms (1 King, 2 Doubles) with attached bathrooms, a good-sized kitchenette, a living area, and a small dining area It was our first time staying at one of their properties

The location and room size were fantastic! Kids loved the pool and hot tub, and it was located on the inside of the property offering plenty of privacy for guests The staff was friendly and courteous It’s worth mentioning that while it didn’t bother us, our room was right on International Drive across from Icon Park This puts you right in the heart of things to do in the area, but also means there is a lot of activity at night If you are a light sleeper or noise sensitive, it’s something to be aware of

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel It was very clean, the rooms smelled fresh, and the A/C worked so good! I keep my house on 70, and with the room A/C set on 70 it was perfect! The showers had good water pressure and got nice and hot The pool area was awesome, loved that the hot tub was off to the side and not super close to the pool, it made it more relaxing

The bartender, Colin was great He made amazing drinks and was a funny guy I didn’t get the chance to eat the breakfast, but I did eat dinner there one night and the burger and fries were so good! I would definitely come back to this hotel You also can’t beat the location, only 6 minutes to all the universal parks

Earl Mary

Me and my daughter and grandson love our room and the hotel The people there are very friendly and very helpful to your needs Breakfast buffet is awesome

They have a swim pool where my grandson’s friend and family came and they had a ball playing swimming in the pool Wonderful people and the staff there is awesome too We had to leave on a Sunday and clerk at the desk asked about our stay there and we yold her we did not want to leave But she said, you be back here with us You better believe it we be back there at that hotel

Seth Melisano

Room was roomy and clean, if a little dated, and the beds were comfortable Hotel lobby was nicely decorated and the staff was nice and very helpful with our questions Registering for a bus to Universal was simple and the buses were always on time

The best part was no parking fee A very affordable and welcoming stay, especially for those visiting Universal Studios

My husband and I stayed here for about a week on a business trip The stay was great Room was very clean & aroma was wonderful

The front desk people where friendlyI can say that breakfast was absolutely wonderful due to their server Debra! (Sorry if miss spelled)I’m not personally a morning person but she managed to make me smile every time I walked in the door Super sweet, hardworking, makes sure everyone that walks through her kitchen is satisfied & very well taken care of!

Kevin Thacker

One elevator not working, pool pump broke and unable to use pool which we were not informed of at booking or check-in Hallway smelled terrible like a skunk was living across the hallway Our card was charged twice for the stay amount and staff was NOT helpful about it at all

Only highlight and reason for one star instead of none (or negative) is the breakfast was good That’s only after one night🤦🏻‍♂️ DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Bear Osborn

As a family of 6 we really dislike having to stay in hotels so we usually VRBO or a resort, but the circumstances of our trip didn’t allow that so we stayed here After 3 days we couldn’t be happier! We have found this facility to be warm from staff to guests Not sure how they’ve created this environment, but we’ll seek this hotel for our next visit

Really impressed 👏

Service was exceptional, if I needed anything, someone was always available to help, guide etcThe King Studio was incredibly clean, great layout, and comfortableThey offer a complimentary breakfast, (We didn’t try it) but it must be good, based on the large amount of people we saw enjoying it every morning

Great pool and nice basic fitness centerThe location was AWESOME!!!! Plenty of shopping and and so close (short easy direct 15 mile drive) to Universal

Matthew Liptak

This property is brand new and sits in the high class area near a mall and a lot of new condos It stands out since its inside some really run down neighborhoods close to Universal I stayed here since its proximity to Universal is about 2 miles away

By Uber, its about a $12-14 dollar ride It’s probably one of the nicest properties I have stayed in for a Marriott Not only are the rooms modern and huge, there are full kitchens with dishes and pots and plates There are plenty of outlets and chargers in the rooms and the lobby area is sleek and modern and includes a small bar area and a good sized continental breakfast area The pool area here is nice, includes a kids area with games, good sized full pool and a nice seating area Really worth the stay and I would highly recommend this property as one of the nicer hotels in Orlando off property from a theme park

Raj K

I would like to keep my feedback very simple In summary this is among the best property in its service class and proximity to area attractions, food, and malls etcLocation – Very Good and close to Interstate, almost walking distance to mall, quick service/ fast food, and other restaurants

Staff & Service – Very friendly and courteous, all the way from front desk, room service, and best of all folks managing morning breakfast rush so efficiently and patiently I stayed for 5+ days and almost on daily basis I had seen them extending breakfast time to be able to service everyone (even if people were showing-up late)Breakfast- While they were providing very good service, at same time I noticed almost daily change in hot food menu items, which you hardly see in many hotelsRooms – Very clean, modern, and up-to dateLobby/ Outdoor/ Pool – Very well-maintained outdoor sitting and pool areaNow a days many hotels are trying to cut down on service, this hotel is providing exceptional full service I would defiantly stay again and recommended this propertyFor Hotel Management if they ever see this review, please take care of your staff, you have good folks working for you!

Rafael Gonzalez

My stay wasn’t very good The good parts of the stay was the pool and hot tub, the common area was well kept and breakfast was pretty good Size of the room was nice but room 415 is in need of maintenance

Main issue with the room was it smelled bad Had a damp musty smell mainly from the bathroom/sink area After taking a shower found out why the room smelled bad The shower curtain bar was broken from the wall Which allowed the curtain to slide to the middle slowly This allowed water to pool on the floor There is really no exhaust system here so the air is not circulating The 2 tiles closer to the door are starting to loosen up you can hear a crackling noise when stepped on The carpet itself is worn and sort of sticky Went to close the curtains saw they were stained At check out the woman stated she was sorry about the room issues and they will begin renovations in the summer I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend Maybe try Home2 or the Garden Inn if your a rewards member

Christian Calle

The lady behind the counter at the front desk was warm and inviting, the minute we walked through the door She was very friendly and very helpful in getting us our room key as quickly as possible The rooms were clean and the area is quiet

We were surprised given that we were right by the pool, and it was memorial day weekend, but we couldn’t hear anything outside The furniture and color scheme is a bit dated but overall, we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations in this area and at this time of the season

Lynn Fisher

Our group of 20 people had a great stay at the Homewood suites, the Director of Sales, Jennifer, was professional and efficiently helped us create a room block, the front desk team was super helpful with early check-in for many arriving from out of town, and also allowed for late check-out The rooms were spacious, clean and just what we needed!

Even though I only stayed one night, it was a five star experience The rooms were clean and offered a lot of space It was nice having a full kitchen in the room

The furniture was modern and fit the vibe of the hotel as a whole Beautiful space, would definitely stay again The employees that checked us in were unmasked but the ones at check out were wearing them It’s posted in several locations that masks are required but I would assume not based on other guests

Steve Freedenburg

Google says 2 Star hotel

I guess that star rating is based on amenities If that’s the case it’s a 5 star, 2 star hotelIt’s clean I didn’t black light the carpet and bedding, but the room smells fresh, i didn’t see any dust or particulate in the carpetThe decor is standard hotel fare, focus group approved art, cliched and sterile, but it’s still pretty upscale digsEverything was neat and tidy from the lobby to the roomThe hotel bar was manned by a friendly fellow and the price for a cocktail was a little steep but it was an accurate Cosmo that deserved another samplingThe shower was the best part, spacious and the hot water was almost too hot but actually just right

Majed Alashari

New & clean room with great facilities to cook your meal Laundry service is for 2$ per wash or dry Location is good next to the outlet and near Universal studios

I will definitely stay at this hotel again! To begin with, it is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and modern! Every staff member I interacted with was just as nice as can be! They provide a very generous hot breakfast, and there was even a staff member there helping everyone make their waffles 🙂 Most places these days have hardly anyone around to help with anything, so this was such a pleasant surprise! The price for the room was very reasonable as well I hope to stay here again very soon!

Scott LaGraize

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay They compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you choose this place you definitely will love it I’m sure!My family and I have been staying at this location numerous of times since grand opening! The hotel and staff never disappoint! The cleanliness and amenities are superb! This recent stay our sink was clogged upon arrival and Shawn addressed and fixed the issue swiftly! Breakfast is always good and the grounds are well kept All staff that we came in contact with were nice and helpful! This is home away from home for us!!!

Christa O.

I was in charge of planning a trip for my coworkers and let me say from the staff to amenities we had a GREAT stay at this hotel! The room kept getting warm a little but you just have to figure out the ac system in the room The two guest representatives made me feel like a person and not a “guest” and I just loved their energy! They have such cute lobby and outside area to chill and enjoy your stay I loved how the room felt more like a suite with a couch,Closet (With a FULLL BODY MIRROR) and a microwave and a fridge

Let’s not forget the breakfast and presentation!!(need a little more season on the eggs but I won’t complain) Listen I’ve visited many hotels and this one has been definitely added to my listThank you so much for the comfortable stay 😊

Perfect place to stay while visiting Universal The walk to and from the parks is 20-30 minutes and it’s a fairly nice journey A decent part of it is surrounding by plants and it’s not difficult to remember where to go

Laketha checked us in and was very helpful in explaining how the shuttle works It’s a bit unfortunate that you can only sign up from 7-11am because that largely eliminates the possibility of using the shuttle on your first day, but with the hotel being so close to the parks, it’s not that big of a deal It *is* nice to have the shuttle available, and Ronnie, the driver, is greatWe stayed in a studio suite It’s nice to have the two TVs, one facing the beds, and one facing the couch, if you have differing opinions on what qualifies as a relaxing vacation show Everything was very clean Breakfast was good, but definitely not grab and go, so be prepared to hustle if you’re going to be taking the 720 shuttleOverall, it’s a great alternative to staying on site It’s clean, high quality, and the amenities are great A+, guys

Kevin Anderson

Very nice rooms Small kitchen with island was very nice to have and worked well for doing some work Sitting area with couch was nice but did feel like the tv was really close

Beds were quite comfortable Nice big shower but wife was disappointed there wasn’t a tub Hot breakfast was good but variety did get a little old after a week Nice bar and outdoor seating area Easy access, right off the highway

NO Rosario

We enjoyed our stay and everything about this place screams: “come back”! Clean, spacious rooms, adequate buffet room and seating for breakfast Shuttle service to Universal, free parking Customer service is great and immediately attended to our request for more towels and soap

This was a busy weekend and hotel was crowded but it ran smooth

Wonderful experience there We were greeted by Oliver who was extremely helpful and accommodating He made an effort to improve the quality of our stay by changing us from a 2 beds-room to king bed-room and gave us floor options for the location of the room

The breakfast was also very well catered with coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, waffles, danishes etcI’ll definitely be going back next timeLocation wise, it’s super close to Universal studio (within 10 min) and decently close to Disney World The hotel also offers a shuttle to Universal and one for Magic Kingdom

running, called the front desk, and the handyman arrived within 10 minutes! (Turns out it is normal for the toilet to take a long time to refill the tank) The rooms aren’t fancy but bed was comfy for sleeping Happy to have scrambled eggs, sausage links, Mickey waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yummy pastries, and toast for breakfast options Good location

Pool was never busy Daily room cleaning offered Only downfall was that I wish the shuttle service had more options for times/locations Luckily we had a rental car so we battled the traffic ourselves Overall, I would recommend and would stay here again

We were a little nervous about this location based on some other reviews I was staying here on a work trip and my husband and daughter played at the hotel during the day The staff was always pleasant and helpful

The breakfast area worked very well every morning and my daughter loved making frequent trips for more cantaloupe We had a room right next to the outdoor breakfast area and it worked perfectly every night for us to hang out while our daughter slept in the room It was very quiet and the housekeepers worked around my daughter’s nap schedule This place was great! It was also a great location near a Walgreens and liquor store (for when American Airlines lost our luggage) It was walking distance to multiple restaurants and Icon Park

The appearance, and amenities make this place feel just barely above a motel The staff is friendly The pool and spa area is clean

The exterior felt dated but was still nice The beds themselves were comfortable I enjoyed the balcony Bonus points for it being screened in In Florida that means no bugs! The best touch about the place is they say welcome to your home away from home

Needed two bedrooms for a couple of nights and this resort worked out perfectlyLarge and spacious with all the amenities that you would need while away from home Reception was friendly and room was available a couple of hours before scheduled check in

Everything was extremely clean and good sized televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms that included some movie channels Didn’t really use the pool or anything else during this particular visit but would definitely return Very convenient location also

The room smells a little musty and it is clear that the interior is very old For this area being such a tourist hub, it shoukd be more modern and better keptIt is clean and the staff is friendly but not overly helpful

I am staying for work so really just need a place to sleep The bed is firm and the pillows are garbage I’m glad I brought my own

Our stay was pretty good We stayed for a 6 days and they came and cleaned half way through our stay which was perfect timing The rooms are good sized and the location is perfect

I only have a few complaints there isn’t any vending, the furniture is a little dirty and the restaurant isn’t open all the time and they don’t offer everything listed on the Starbucks menu There also should be more towels in the family 2 bedrooms Other then that our stay was good

ToxSic Dream (ToxSic)

Had an Amazing stay at the point over the July 8th Weekend I spent my Days at Universal and it was nice to come back to rest and relax at The Point Had a nice 9 story view from my balcony

Also Enjoyed the layout of my room, Small but quaint and all I needed to enjoy my stay I highly recommend staying here PS Bathrooms are spacious and Very Relaxing to unwind in after a Long day in the Florida heat

Disappointing best describes The Point Hotel We arrived after the check-in time, but our room still wasn’t ready We were told we would receive a text when the room was ready, but we never did

When we finally made it to the room hours after the check-in time, we were impressed with the size of the suite, but otherwise disappointed It had not been cleaned well There was soup scum in the shower and tub and dirty floors Our kids immediately noticed how dirty their feet got just from walking on the carpetThe appliances are dated, seemingly 20 years old, as were the TV’s The picture quality and channel selection was a throwback to the 90’s The refrigerator barely worked The furniture was worn The cook ware and dish ware was minimal, making it very difficult to prepare meals There was a pull out bed, but no sheets or blanket The bedding we did have was very low quality, reminiscent of a Motel 6The staff was not at all welcoming and uniformly seemed annoyed by their job Literally every staff member we interacted with seemed like they hated being there They weren’t necessarily rude, just dismissive and seemingly annoyedOverall, the stay was very disappointing and not at all what we expected based on the online photos and other reviews If you are looking for a place to stay in Orlando, our suggestion is to keep looking There are so many other options that will not disappoint

Spacious rooms at Home2Suites by Hilton I needed a quick getaway from my apartment and decided to book this location due to how close it was from my home The hotel staff was great and I had the quickest check in ever

My room included two queen sized beds with a sleeper sofa and a desk The room was very spacious There was a fire pit out front which was handy on my check in date which the temperature was 40 degrees A little side note, the gas station next door has the best late night snacks

Maya My

My overall stay was good The first day there, I experienced an issue at check-in which was quickly corrected by management I appreciate Management’s promptness to correct the issues

Breakfast is a free buffet with an array of good, hot, tasty options The room is small but the water is hot and the bed and pillows were very comfortable The AC is very loud and made the stay less desirable The refrigerator was also loud and the rooms heat would not exceed 78 on the thermostat I’m anemic and Orlando experienced some cold weather when I visited but I could only heat the room up to 78, which felt more like heat of 68 Some of the staff were pleasant but others seemed like they didn’t want to be there A lot of the staff did not speak English; especially housekeeping, which made it a bit more difficult to explain what was needed for the room All in all, we had a nice stay

James Long

The location is great and only a 30 minute walk to Universal Studios The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to help you The rooms are perfect for 2 people and I noticed nothing in the room that was out of place

The AC is cold and I promise you in this heat it great! Huge breakfast in the morning and just great people I’m sure if you wanted to nip pick you could, but the price is spot on and worth it They treat you like family I can’t wait to go back!

I’m uncertain how this hotel has a four star review

I suppose my experience could be out of the ordinary, but it’s hard to believe we’re the only ones to have an unpleasant stay I booked this hotel because of its score, price and location The one and only thing it has going for it is it’s location It is very close to Universal Studios Unfortunately, for us, that is the only thing we liked about the hotel We found our room to be pretty run down The toilet ran and the shower leaked all day and night The sink was crack, as was the threshold passing into the bathroom The water temperature fluctuated pretty dramatically while showering The walls are paper thin and we could easily hear the neighbors next to us as well as the kids running around above us We heard doors slamming all day and night This made it difficult to get a decent nights rest, which is all we really wanted from the hotel Room service didn’t actually refresh the room each day They only grabbed the old towels and left a new stack on the counter

Mark Novatka

I have been staying at this Best Western for the last several years when I have the opportunity It may be an older property, but it is very well taken care of The rooms are very clean, and up to date

They even take the time to make characters out of your towels That shows that they care Disney properties used to do this but know they want to offer you a discount not to clean your room At this hotel from the time you check in until the time you leave they care about your stay Great job to the entire staff

Cara hollingsworth

I had reservations at a motel around the corner and the accommodations were terrible Decided not to stay there, drove around the corner to the Best Western and Emmanuel gave me the same price for a room that I found online He even upgraded us to a VIP room with an amazing view

The room was beautiful, clean, fully stocked with everything we needed The staff was amazing and helpful Will definitely be going back and staying here when we are in the are again!
