We very much enjoyed our stay at the Windward The room was clean and they make special efforts to remind everyone to keep sand outside The outdoor showers are very nice–roomy and stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner

The people are helpful and friendly Location is great, right near the beach and a short walk to the main downtown shops and restaurants We would definitely stay here again!

Michelle Manzares

For my family summer beach vacation staying at The Windward is our absolute favorite! I think this is our third year staying here and we look forward to it every summer David and his family are such amazing hosts, as well as Michelle and all the staff The rooms are super clean and well taken care of

They are super responsive when we ask for extra towels or anything we need We just love how conveniently located to the beach and all the restaurants and shops it is We also love the coffee/tea bar in the lobby The feeling of comfort and being at a home away from home is just what I love for my family’s summer vacation Thank you David, family and staff for another great stay at your beautiful Windward Inn

Sydnee Zolnierz

My husband and I booked a last minute Beach Haven trip and couldn’t be more thrilled that we found the Windward for our impromptu stayOur room was quaint, cozy, and clean, and I loved the the keyless entry for the room The owners and staff were delightful

I loved the quiet and relaxed vibeIf your preferred hotels are the Ritz or Four Seasons, the Windward may not be for you – but if you’re relaxed, undemanding, and down-to-earth, I can’t recommend the Windward enoughThe Windward will be the first hotel I try to book when I visit Beach Haven in the future Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We think this property is just beautiful We stayed there years ago & thought it was nice Now we see even more improvements and the cleanliness & organization are managed so well

We believe the young lady at the front desk who helped us & was lovely was Abby We will be very embarrassed if that is her name considering how nicely she treated us!! It may be her job doesn’t mean it will happen! We also enjoyed our lunch at Mainland & met Alexa & Christine Also so nice & food was yum!!

This hotel is really nice to stay at, the restaurant has good food and is pretty clean, the pool and hot tub are also a nice addition to the main hotel building When you go outside, besides the outdoor part of the restaurant, there is so much more you can do that is right on the hotel grounds There’s a small but nice putting holes outside of the pool, but the main area outside comes with go carts, a large adventure course, and small, but nice arcade

The adventure course was really fun, the employees are always nice and friendly The go carts are also a fun time, and are kept up nicely The arcade also has a few fun things inside This hotel also has a nice location, being right near the ocean, along with easy access to shops and other places Overall, would recommend this hotel for anyone that has the money to go!

Stephen Lombardi

The hotel is a lot of fun with all the activities and the people are very nice We go there every year The negatives are simply the location and distance to the beach

The rooms need to be updated The carpet is dirty and it’s just average overall Again, we really like this place and we go back every year for a few days here and there so I would recommend it but more if you’re not a big beach person

I’ve been going to Atlantic City for years but have never heard of Atlantic Palace till last week My stay here was by far the best than other well known hotels The room I stayed in was set up like a mini apartment which won me over

My room contained a mini fridge, stove with 2 burners and a microwave They also provided, dishes, a coffee maker, pots, dish washing soap and the dry rack So many other hotels that I’ve been to either has a microwave but it’s tiny and no stove or the microwave isn’t located in the room but off into a separate room where the vending machines are located The hotel provided extra blankets, sheets and pillows where as other hotels you have to call downstairs for this This hotel was ahead of the game The hotel appears old on the outside but the inside makes up ALOT!! The view was wonderful and I was very comfortableBest stay this far!

Awful

Rude staff, 20 floors with three elevators so there is usually a long line to get on the elevator, three ice machines and none of them were working, nice pool with a great view however it’s not heated, no Casino, there was a sign posted that there was no late check out however they were four to five hours late checking me in due to housekeeping staff Great location but I will never stay there again

Jenilyn Garcia

We booked a room in advance for April 30, 2022 We go to check-in at 4:30 pm

only to be told the room is not available and is still dirty Here we are an hour and a half later and still sitting in the lobby This place is a joke Be aware there is no elevator for the garage so yes you have to walk down and struggle with all your luggage No hospitality service at all, we should’ve already been put in an upgraded room that is ready We finally get to the room and the lampshade in the living room has some sort of brown stains on it and the pull out couch has sheets on it with huge black stains all over it I definitely don’t recommend staying here and will never book this place again

I was visiting a friend there I was actually surprised at how much nicer the rooms were from when it was The Sea Pine Much cleaner and more modern

The rooms are a lot better than some of the hotels I’ve been to in Florida that are in the heart of everything and suppose to be nice I would recommend staying here in the summer when the pool is open

Liliana R.

Don’t let the pictures deceive you The room I had was very small and dark The curtains are old and they don’t close completely allowing sun light in early in the morning

The bathroom door was not hung properly as it was very hard to close The shower area, the tub was rusty and old The pictures of the pool are true and the grounds are well kept Review your options carefully as there should be better places for the same expensive price We won’t be back for sure

Comfortable Beds and Rooftop pool with great sunset view, a little bit of shade for swimming in the day when need a break from beach Cookie and Linda at the front desk were friendly and super helpful They got us a same day reservation, check in, beach and car pass, all while handling the phone that was ringing off the hook

We were able to check out the next day, use our complementary beach passes, keep the car parked there, and take a swim in pool before getting on the road Easy walk to boardwalk Suites are independently owned, but run as hotel We were in 207, over 500 square feet of space Would definitely stay again

We stayed in suite 418 this past week This place was highly recommended by a close friend who I trust completely Evidently we got the most disgusting, worst room

It was somewhat aesthetically pleasing, but as soon as we arrived, I immediately realized our room smelled horrific We bought two candles that evening and thought they would help disssipate the awful vomit like smell They did not help at all I should have requested and insisted on a different room I am mad at myself I didn’t The couch and the entire floor carpeting were filthy They had stains everywhere Our feet were black every single day The linens were thinner than hospital grade and there were large visible cigarette holes in the thin brown blanket that my children used on the pull out couch they slept on There were 4 of us in our room and 2 of us had to shower in a different room I had to request because the water was freezing by the time my second child took his bath I am a thin person and could hardly move in the small shower Every time I turned slightly, my body was touching the dirty shower curtain There were ketchup stains all over the room inside and outside on our deck It was disgusting We deliberately rented a penthouse suite to have a kitchen and didn’t even feel comfortable cooking there or eating anything more than breakfast cereal I had to wash all of the bowls and silverware before we used them because they all had dried food on them I would never recommend this establishment Do better!!!!!!!!

Tara Brown Beauty

I would honestly give this place 1000 stars if I could! Our room was soooo nice that I literally had tears in my eyes when we walked in! The room we had was so incredibly spacious, we didn’t feel crammed in It was so clean, the staff were amazing and the rooftop pool with a bathroom is really the icing on the cake! I highly reccomend this place and will be booking here next summer!

Unbelievably disappointing We have stayed at this property many, many times while visiting family in the area since it opened I called ahead of arrival to request linens for the sofa bed of the two bedroom suite we booked

Upon arrival, no linens and curt front desk employee who told me I had to come to the lobby for the items because he was the only one there Fine Arrived and there are no pillows (“we’ve been short of pillows for months”) and one very thin fancy sheet, no blanket Determined to make the best I return to our room One bathroom has two towels The second bathroom (again we have a two bedroom suite) has no towels whatsoever Absurd! A room that is billed for five people (and we paid prettily for it) has two bath towels and we were told upon arrival no service for seven days And let’s not even begin to discuss the sofa bed “mattress” We always gave little expectation for such things but this is truly only springs There is no cushioning whatsoever These gold elite members are incredibly disappointed in a property we once recommended wholeheartedly Marriott, you should be ashamed of the terrible arrival to our room we have experienced

Joshua Dalama

This hotel has all the intention to be great but the efforts is not up to Marriott’s standards coming from someone who is one tier away from becoming an Ambassador Elite The breakfast is barely ever stocked just 45 to an hour after opening, my bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly, I notified the front desk the day of check in that the shower was not clean and nothing has been done, and housekeeping does not clean the room to the fullest; they’ll forget to do something may it be restocking the paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning the dishes from the sink THE FLOOR IS NEVER VACCUUMED! The staff however are very nice people, it’s just being the status I am and loyalty with Marriott, this is not up to their standards

Neasie Gist

Each time I visited we had issues During check in we requested a higher floor the front desk clerk stated that there wasn’t anything available We checked into a room and my allergies went wild

The room had a stench of mold and dog Went to the front desk and fortunately the manager was there We explained what we requested in front of the same desk clerk and the manager stated we are a pet friendly hotel I said I have allergies and that room will not work for me The manager then ask the desk clerk to put us in another room I was puzzled because of what same desk clerk told us about 20 minutes prior Our stay and the room we were finally assigned was much better and had a better smell on a higher floor

They were like Angels that swooped in to save us! We had a terrible experience at another hotel and came barreling in needing five rooms Not only did they show us the rooms beforehand to make sure we felt comfortable, but they were polite, professional and so incredibly understanding AMAZING staff that is genuinely happy to work here and tell you about the property

ThisPlace holds a lot of history but is very well kept, updated and maintained You can tell the staff takes pride in working and caring for it and we are all just SO thankful we got to come hereBeautiful indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant and a grill Outdoor bar Clean rooms Super comfy beds Everything you need Will 100% stay here from now on when we come to Jersey! We can’t say enough about it!

Okay this is a beautiful hotel Wow, this place remind me of one of those ’80s movies, where everyone wears eyes out shirts with the collar up Lots of weddings

It has its own huge golf course and very cool indoor and outdoor pools I did not see a pool list in either one so if you’re on a wheelchair don’t think you’re going to be getting into the pool The rooms are super tiny, the accessible room which they gave us was a double bedroom and it was super difficult for a wheelchair to get around So much so, that we ended up getting a regular room just to get a little bit of extra space Also, Galloway New Jersey is a beautiful place but not near Northern or Central Jersey Definitely closer to Atlantic City, about half an hour away Other than that really nice place

Karin Persson

This is a REALLY nice hotel/resort for a family Quiet nice location Close to many nice places to visit

Smithsville is my favorite, kids love ocean city We were put in a larger version of the Doyle queen which had much space for two adults and three kids with a crib for the youngest Two really beautiful pools Golf course seems very nice but we didn’t try We did not try the restaurants either, had good breakfasts and dinners in nearby locations The complete building is very nice and fresh I had read some review saying the general spaces were in need of maintenance, but I did not see anything of that, and I am quite a picky person Laundry facility at the hotel was out of order, but they had some service that we did not try Can highly recommend this place!! Hope to be back some time, but now we go back to Norway

Mom Cris of The PM Family

We stayed last week of July 2022 Clean and updated hotel Love the shower! Buffet breakfast is great and well stocked

There’s 1 big pool and 1 jacuzzi Location is great and about 15 minutes to AC Only reason we’re giving it 4-star is because of the following reasons: (1) staff at the Reception (Justin) seemed to us like he didn’t want to be there working that day or what not Lacked the energy and smile that a customer/guest would expect from a staff working at the front desk (2) their website stated indoor pool is heated but it wasn’t – water was cold We called and staff was nice stating someone will come to fix but we stayed for almost an hour and nobody came (3) toilet flush handle is loose always needed to be re-aligned See photos attachedOverall, still a good stay for us and will still recommend

Robin Boyle

Tony checked us in he was very welcoming and helpful Room is very clean and comfortable We went to dinner after checking in and upon returning found that the A/C was not working

Reported to the front desk and Tony came to the room to reset the A/C When that did not work he called Justin the Night Manager who came to the room and tried multiple things none of which worked At that point he decided to replace the entire unit This was at approximately 11pm Within 20 minutes he replaced the unit and it was working well This is above and beyond any experience we have had at any other hotel Justin and Tony set the example of what true customer service should be Kudos to both of them and because of them we will return here the next time we come come to NJ This hotel will get our highest recommendation

Eileen L. – God’s Servant

I stay at Holiday Inn & Express hotels often, however this was my very first visit here on 3/13/22 I had a wonderful stay!! My sister & I were greeted in a very sincere & friendly way by, not just one, but two men(Justin & Tony?) when we checked in We were given the room we requested(on the first floor); it was clean & comfortable with a great view of the pool! The atmosphere is peaceful & the staff is very pleasant & professional

The breakfast buffet was great! – it was tasty & well stocked & even included potatoes! I love the hotel’s location – it was a short distance from the AC boardwalk I definitely recommend this hotel & I will stay here again

Me and my boyfriend spent Valentines Day here, and the hotel service and property exceeded our expectations The hotel is spotless, and the staff were amazing Has a indoor self parking garage, that was heated and you can enter the hotel easily and take the elevator to check in

I unfortunately booked a room without a balcony and didn’t realize, they upgraded me free of charge The Living Room restaurant is perfect for quick bite to eat and the drinks are Amazing The room is beautiful, perfectly decorated and clean The linens were so soft and I love the space, easily can entertain a family without feeling overcrowded Perfect place to get away for a weekend I will surely be back, and would recommend anyone to go here We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or jacuzzi we came a little too late, but definitely will when we return

Kay Bee

This place is great Complimentary valet, someone is always there if you need something, the food is great The room was huge, and really nicely maintained

You also couldn’t hear any other guests in their room (top or neighboring) and the hotel was sold out My family of 4 enjoyed the accommodations and everything it had to offer My only complaint is that we had a very intimate view of the AC unit for the hotel We couldn’t see anything other than that and for $400 a night, that’s not what I want to be looking at Would absolutely stay again, but would request a room with an unobstructed view

Gilbert NGUYEN

We stayed 1 week from Thursday to Wednesday over Easter We booked a 2 bedrooms with king beds, for 2 adults and 2 kidsPrice is ok as I guess everything is a bit more expensive around Easter Sunday

The room price increased from 299 to 459 just for the Friday and Saturday, it seems a bit excessiveRoom was large, cleanness could be better but I will come back on that topicOur room was not ready at 4pm We had to wait until 5:20pm Do not get all your stuff from your car until they confirm room is readyWe ate at the restaurant on our first night The food was really good and we wanted to come back on our last night but they are closed Monday and Tuesday unfortunatelyWe cooked dinner the other nights and there is minimum equipment but it was sufficient Only expect to cook simple dinner and to use the dishwasher every night as there would not be enough dishes for the next morningHotel had multiple wedding in a row so it was packed of guest coming for 1 night max and it creates massive amount of work for the cleaning staff and now I understand better why our room was not ready on timeI saw cleaning staff exhausted by the afternoon and noticed rooms left in terrible state by guestI really believe staff do their best under the circumstancesOur room was at the very end of the 3rd floor (top floor) which is a perk as it is much more quiet Otherwise expect to hear your neighbor and all the kids running in the hallwayI will conclude my review with the pool The size is not adapted to the hotel capacity It could be easily double the size For me it was a huge disappointment and seriously dangerous There is no supervision so you see kids and teenagers diving from everywhere and in the middle of people Expect to be kicked under the water, and to be splashed We ended up going only when not crowded which was super rare

Yours Truly

Front desk staff and maintenance was very friendly but there’s cockroaches, ripped beds, moldy bathrooms, the chair had strange brown stains on the butt area, the light wiring was taped together, the wall has a hole in it, and there’s no coffee pot or HBO (there’s a VCR tho) The pool itself is okay but all the pool furniture was jammed inside the gazebo This place needs to be remodeled, updated and sprayed for bugs

Robert Carroll

The sea pine is a very nice layed back motel despite other people downgrading the motel the people are very helpful in many ways also they just did some renovating and I could say it is the nicest motel in the area ALSO they have jaccuzies if you come with an open mind youwill enjoy yourstay

someone I give it a try you will be surprised
