Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you definitely won’t be let downWonderful staff! I have to give big props to Bo!!!!! He was exceptional and a breath of fresh air! Thank you Bo for your kindness and gentle smile Bo took excellent care of me and my significant other (Concierge in the Club Lounge) He deserves a raise and a bonus!!❤

This is a really nice hotel, only a couple of small issues I wish there was a microwave in the room, and when I arrived my shower drain was super clogged and the first shower I took I was basically standing in standing water at the bottom of the tub That said I did request this maintenance from the front desk and it was taken care of quickly

The shower head wasn’t that nice either, it was spraying water in several different directions, but I got the job done Several other people I was traveling with mentioned that they did not have soap in their room when they arrived, it wasn’t just one person, so that also doesn’t look good I also wish the breakfast menu down the restaurant had a few more options But The Omelette was really good so no worries I suppose Otherwise the look and feel the place is super nice and I’d be happy to stay here again I also forgot my iPhone charger and one of the front desk attendants was actually really helpful in letting me borrow one

Rachel Brown

Hotel stay was great Lexi with sales was GREAT to work with We were with a baseball team and they put all those that scheduled timely on same floor which worked well

Noise was minimal from other guests Rooms are a bit small for families larger than 4, BUT expected when they are attached to conference center and mostly cater to businesses vs an actual family stay Hotel was updated, clean, fresh Super accessible to all things and the highway Our family had dual tournaments…Lenexa and Lee’s Summit it was PERFECT location for both

I went to a corporate meet and greet at this location and have to say that it is by far one of the nicest hotels in the area The rooms are bright, clean, and the beds look super comfy I met most of the staff and would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of a room for the night in the Lenexa area

Stop by and see for yourself!

The check-in was a disaster, Rubi, who works the front desk, is an insensitive unemotional mannequin of a human We had made specific plans to check-in and she was unwilling to work with us and forced us to charge our card over $400 when our room was already paid for and put on a different card The rooms are decent and clean

You get a small microwave and small fridge The AC gets pretty cold (we stayed in August and weather was hot out) bathroom was just OK Tub was average at best, water pressure fine nothing to write home about This is about what you get for $200 a night these days

Glynn Hensley

Room was ok Shower was terrible no pressure and valve to send water to shower head didn’t work correctly One of the mattresses had a giant hole in the center of it

Staff was very lazy snide and unaccomadating They were unable to take care of anything They wanted us to pack up and move to a neighboring hotel so they didn’t have to do anything Breakfast was always late and couldn’t keep things stocked Please do not waste your money at this hotel

This hotel is in an incredible little area, great park across the street to get some exercise and views of a great little city area Tons of eating choices from nice restaurants The hotel is almost 100 years old, but it is still very nice and rooms are great

Staff was very friendly and helpful Bed was comfortable, pillows were fine Whole place was super clean They get you for parking as is usual when you stay near any downtown area It’s only a few extra bucks for Valet, it’s worth it

Jordan Henrickson

Visiting from out of town for work and stayed three nights here The hotel is very nice; from the outside it looks rustic, but the rooms are very modern and have nice look to them The beds are very comfortable and the showers are awesome! The price wasn’t too bad and area isn’t too bad; walking distance from a few restaurants on the Plaza

Parking is directly in the rear of the hotel, so you have to drive around the block from the front, but safe, well-lit parking garage Overall, it’s a nice hotel and good service

Tricia Pitkin

I wouldn’t stay here again as they didn’t give me the room I booked and the guy at the front desk was extremely unhelpful (basically didn’t care and that I was out of luck) and didn’t even try to offer a solution for our room being wrong Plus, they only give you 2 free breakfast passes (employees at the bar/breakfast area were very nice and efficient) so doesn’t cover everyone in the room And they even charge for black coffee! Mattress was very uncomfortable and I have no good things to say about the sleeper sofa

I had the opportunity to stay at this property on a business trip and I was pleased with the overall quality of the stay Customer service is outstanding and truly lives up to the Hilton standard The rooms appears to have been recently renovated and the cleanliness throughly the property from the roomItself to all public areas was excellent

Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety of options and hot breakfast items The only thing that was disappointing was the climate control in the room It was quite warm even when setting the AC to the lowest temperature setting and the fan on high mode I think this may be the byproduct of the older building infrastructure If the AC worked better in the room, this would easily have been a 5 star review

Dan V

When we stayed at this hotel there was two soccer teams here so a lot of people Tom and his staff made sure everything was always clean and stocked The breakfast was great and they were never out of any food

Common areas were always clean I was really impressed on how clean and friendly everyone at this hotel was Will definitely stay here again

Mary Carr

Nice staff, clean and decent location for the Country Club Plaza area I noticed the breakfast was good (hot, clean, taste good and really good quality apples!) They also had a “Happy Travels” to go bag with water, granola bar, apple and muffin when I checked out

VERY NICEThere was a loud toilet in the room and an odd tapping from outside during the evening

The bed was very comfy That is the only thing nice I can sayThe room was wet with humidity

Saturated! My shoes, my clothes, everything! Our toilet was dirty They don’t come back to your room to give you fresh towels or tidy your bedThe eating area was tiny The one person that works the breakfast area had body odor and bless their heart, couldn’t keep up with the demand of food and coffeeThey gave us only one working key I explained it wasn’t near a cell phone I literally had them reprogrammed the key and went to the door and tried it Still didn’t work I gave up

Chris Dempsey

Stayed on business two separate weeks In Two different suite rooms Both were dirty, had an ant problem and one had a mouse trap in it The bathroom paper was as cheap as possible

They refilled shower conditioner w some cheap orange smelly product (photo) mixing it w original standard HIE white conditioner Breakfast was limited and dry Staff never acknowledged me coming and going 20times I paid $185 for one of the nights I stayed which is very expensive considering the area The worst HIE experience I’ve had and I’m a platinum HIE member Stay further north around exit road 119 area instead The mgt of this propriety simply doesn’t care

Cassie Borcherding

Don’t get me wrong, this hotel was nice, clean, and staff was friendly but I had a horrible time sleeping

My room was so filled with humidity and moisture my sheets were damp all night I tried to sleep through it thinking it was just cold but woke up several times with them feeling wet when I got up in the morning my receipt under the door was wet, and my clothes I hung up and my leather sandals were dampA three hour car ride home in damp clothes is not pleasant Just overall not pleasantI did tell the staff at the desk, and from what I gather they knew this was an issue, but really had I known beforehand I wouldn’t have booked this location

Front desk staff was friendly enough Breakfast and a pool offered (I didn’t end up using either) but the room itself sucked The fridge in the room did not keep items cold, and the condenser in the fridge leaked water onto the floor

The room had a mildew smell The AC unit was loud enough that my partner was unable to sleep Our room had a king bed, and the pillows offered are smaller sized, almost throw pillows, and not large enough for the bed provided The shower did not have a water resistant inner curtain, so all of the shower water soaked the curtain and pooled onto the floor The smoke detector (I believe? Maybe C02) needed a new battery that caused a flash in the room The TV in the room had weird lighting issues going on where I could see bulbs behind the screen Also, for two people in a room, only three bath towels were provided That did not leave anything to put on the bathroom floor to try and dry up the water (I need one for my body and one for my hair, my partner used one for his body)We ended up leaving a night early to avoid these issues for a second night I brought these issues up to front desk staff hoping for a full/partial refund for the second night, and the staff member listened to my complaints but didn’t offer anything for the poor room condition/experienceAlso, hotel is close to an industrial district so loud trucks move material nearby The sound is loud and travels into the room

Xander Walsh

Will never stay at another Best Western or Wyndham hotel again I made a booking error and asked about getting it corrected I was polite, never raised my voice, never demanded anything

The GM Pam was immediately rude, short with me, called me a jerk, said I was blackmailing her, and hung up on me I just wanted simple change made They’re keeping my money and refusing to help If you ever need something from this hotel they’re likely incapable of helping you After how I was spoken to by the GM and Best Westerns refusal to do anything they have lost my business forever I hope it was worth the $100

electric buzzard

I hate to give such a low review to a Plus location, but this hotel really felt like a standard BW with a few half-baked cosmetic tweaks That would have given it four stars

however, for some reason, my room was very humid and literally felt “wet” at times I’d leave my baseball cap on the table and it would be legitimately wet in the AM My towels didn’t really dry when hanging in the bathroom eitherOverall, the bed and my sleep was good, and the AC worked like a champ – I like my hotels cold, and that did the trick The staff was friendly, tooI hate to say it but due to the very average rooms that manifest themselves as nicer than they are, I won’t return here when I am in Olathe

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last night I had eye surgery yesterday morning and was in a lot of discomfort and needed to rest but hotel check in wasn’t until 3 pm I called to ask for an early check in and the girl at the front desk was VERY nice and accommodating

She told me she could get my in a room by noon for sure but ended up calling at 10:30 am and told me she had a room ready I am so appreciative she went above and beyond so I could rest and recover! The rooms/ hotel were very clean and comfortable as well! Would definitely recommend staying here

New facility, clean in every way, but

the beds were so hard I could not sleep My husband likes a firm bed so he liked it I love the idea of having shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser in the shower but they did not check them and we ran out after 2 showers (5 people staying for 2 nights) There was plenty of room for all our luggage I liked the sliding door between entry and beds, it allowed privacy for changing Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, you had to microwave the items you wanted so they weren’t hot and ready to eat Pancake maker was a big hit with the kids!

George

New hotel on the outskirts of town Nice facilities with good ambiance Selection of breakfast wasn’t the greatest even though there was some minor rotation of items during my 3-night stay

Bed was a bit soft and somehow the room felt damp despite the drying effects of the AC Despite minor imperfections, the hotel was a comfortable space to relax in, and the price point of around $140 a night made it easily the best overall option

Our hotel room was beautiful I actually really liked the couch in the room! I also thought it was nice that they had a magnified mirror for makeup and soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower I also thought we had a great view with a cute little patio area

They did have a little area you could order breakfast from but the selection was pretty small and I thought kind of expensive but I was glad they had milk for my son We will definitely be back

Jonna Nevins

I felt so lucky to find this place to stay after having sewage issue at our own place, and the hotel next door Extended Stay cancelled my reservation as they were somehow “overbooked” The place is very clean and quiet, and the staffs are extremely kind and helpful all the time The bed is very comfortable to sleep and surrounding environment is very nice for suburban hotel

The management is very helpful to accommodate our unique situation for adjusting staying duration, and I just cannot say enough thanks to that I would highly recommend this place to anyone who need a nice place to say in south KC area!

Katrina Rush

This hotel is not expensive There were some strains on my sheets They looked like water stains similar to what you get on the ceiling

The room didn’t have any extra blankets for the pull out bed The staff was helpful in person, but impossible to reach on the phone I also thought it was weird that you had to put in a reservation for the pool It was a good enough value for the price

This was an excellent place to stay Most places lately are a let down with customer service, but I am happy to say that is not the case for this staff! They checked all of the great customer service boxes, from the front desk staff to the wait staff in the dining room! Then there was the amazing breakfast they offer in the morning It was quite a spread and omelettes made to order as well

Again this was an excellent pick!

By far, the Worst Embassy Suites we’ve been to and we’ve stayed at many all over the country Even the ES in Overland Park that is so much older is run better than this one For any sports teams visiting KC for tournaments, STAY AWAY from this

The hotel only cares about rooms sales and they do not care or welcome their guests 1 There’s no coffee after 9:30AM There’s no coffee shop or cold drink, tea or smoothie place at the hotel at all Never seen such an empty bare hotel Guests have to drive a distance to get a drink Even Hilton Garden Inn has cold iced water, tea and coffee pots placed throughout the day in the lobby Here – nothing 2 All hotels typically when they have guests and busy weekend accommodate with food and drink service There are at least 100 rooms taken during this weekend for softball tournament just from our club Parents and kids eating at the restaurant last night, watching Stanley Cup playoff game The restaurant is full, people ordering food and drinks from 5pm, tens of thousands of dollars to be made in revenue this weekend The lady working at the hotel restaurant literally turns off the TV at 10pm and basically tells everyone to leave because they’re closed People are still eating their food and having their drinks, she hands them the bills and demands they pay immediately because they’re closed Never seen anything like this All the hotels we’ve stayed at, accommodate their busy weekends of guests by staying hour or so to wrap it up 3 The rooms are very small, no room for luggage, the drawers are so small, can only fit Barbie clothes The plumbing is terrible with sinks not draining, water pressure so low that cannot even wash your hands STAY AWAY from ES Olathe!! Take your money elsewhere! There are tons of hotels in the area esp Overland Park that know how to operate and accommodate busy weekends of full capacity and treat guests with good customer service

My husband, children, and I stayed here while enjoying a weekend getaway We checked in late Thursday night While going through our bedtime routine with our kids I noticed that the shower was not working well at all

When the tab was pulled the water continue to come out of the bottom tap and so there was almost no water pressure at the shower head I noticed that the tile around the water spicket was cracked as were our mirror sliding doors The room itself was clean The bedding had some piling, but nothing smelled bad and there was no dust There was not a blanket for the pull-out couch bed and we only were given three towels, but that was quickly rectified with a trip downstairs We slept well The blackout curtains work great and there was very minimal noise for being so close to a train track The next morning I mentioned the issue with the shower and they told me they put it in for maintenance and to just leave the “Do not Disturb” off the door and it would be repaired The breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about, the usual waffles, eggs, a breakfast meat-type fair The people running it however were quite lovely The Friday we came back from our activities and the shower still had not been repaired In addition, I noticed one of the light bulbs was out in the bathroom causing a strobe-like effect when it was turned on We went down to the pool and enjoyed swimming for a while The hot tub is not available for use right now The pool is great for kids We got the kids cleaned off and ready for bed and went about our nighttime routine That Saturday I made sure to go back to the front desk and tell them again that the shower was still not working and also the light was out and could they please ask the cleaners to go through the room My children had gotten some crackers on the floor around the bed and I was not able to clean them up completely When we got back on Saturday they had repaired the shower partially It was definitely much more functional The light bulb was still out And while they had made our bed the crackers or still on the ground Sunday morning we checked out The people working were nice and professional The location was ideal for getting around different places in Kansas City The hotel definitely needs to be updated when it comes to repairing some of the things that are broken rather than just patching them

Janet

From check-in to check-out we had a great stay Our room wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and comfortable We both slept well

Breakfast was fresh and proper temperature The lady stocking the breakfast area was very helpful when I had allergen questions about the prepared food Future trips to KC, this will be my first choice for hotels

Jody McLaughlin

The people were very nice The location was fantastic to get to chemo The room itself was a little past its prime

There were black spots on the ceiling and I could not close the drapes because of the heater location The room itself was extremely cleanI did not hear any trains running overnight The breakfast was good and the attendent was very helpful

Front desk staff was nice Room was spacious like all residence inns The bed was like sleeping on a granite slab

I switched to all marriot when travel started up again for all my business travel because they usually have the best beds Not so in this case When traveling with my family I choose residence inns because of their pet friendly policies I was met first thing in the morning by the “night auditor” that rudely told me our dog could not walk through the flowers because it would kill them This facility had 100% dead grass, no landscape maintenance for years, and is falling apart everywhere Our dog in the flowerbed was the most watering this place has had in a decade! The management of this hotel should probably look for a better customer facing employee This guy has no business interacting with your customers He wasn’t even wearing a uniform, name tag, or any indicator that he was a hotel representative either

kent thorne

Room smelled like stale cigarettes in a non-smoking property, what was supposed to be a king bed was definitely a queen, and there was nobody at the front desk multiple times I tried to get a hold of somebody, when I needed to get bedding for the pull-out and when we were trying to check out Breakfast was an absolute mess barely anything was ready, most of their catering warmers were out of service so they were using off-the-shelf crockpots Basically the only things available were biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, or limited pastries because most of those were out too

This wasn’t a time thing, we went back an hour later and it was the same

Ken Meysembourg

First off this hotel is absolutely nasty Stains all over the carpets and bed sheets Second they charged my credit card for $101

51 after I had already paid for my room through hotwire I tried calling this hotel 30 times and only got through once When I spoke with someone at the front desk they said the charge would be reversed and 2 days later the charge still appears on my credit card I would recommend that everyone stay away from this hotel

Overall great experience The Front Desk was great and even helped locate us a few places to go I got a corner room and it was clean & nice

I actually used my point for the stay which was 30,000 I had drinks at the bar and it was a nice environment although the server was very busy So patience is encouraged The next morning, I enjoyed coffee and working from a high top table in the lounge

My room was 1211- directly across I guess the laundry or cleaning room That door stayed open the entire time I was there It continuously sounded as if someone was coming in my room, because of the air I guess

However whenever someone was in there you can hear them clearly into the room as if they are at your door It was not as if they were loud on purpose, its was the lack of sound proof provided in the room The carpet was coming apart as you walk into the room The bottom of shower had a scum stain After pulling back the sheets on one side there was a cluster of snags I staff was super nice and servicing Restaurant was nice even while training new staff members The only thing room service charged me 795 for a glass of tea which came out of a bottle Restaurant gave me the bottom and glass of ice, tacky and super up charged on the drink Front desk was generous to provide a cookie everyday with a smile Sauna and gym was clean and nice Parking was horrible, trashy not sure if someone comes out there an clean up Cant say I was 60% satisfied

Great service at check in Little black short hairs on bed & long brown hair on toilet seat & bathroom floor upon check in & paint cracking around drain in bathtub made me wish I had shower flip flops Other than that room appeared clean and in decent shape

Very ugly curtains Comfortable bed Popcorn ceilings Elevators doors close very quickly and have poor motion sensor – watched a older gentleman get squished in the doors, thankfully he wasn’t hurt

They have very friendly front desk staff!! Every time I interacted with they, they were so nice and it made the experience that much better They were nicest front desk people i have ever dealt with at a hotelBreakfast buffet is back and was goodRooms clean and Overall niceThere is a mini fridge in the roomShower had the best water pressure as wellNice pool but loud bc bas echoGym looked nice and had free weights as wellThey sell beer there but is not really a bar in my opinion

Despite being an older property this hotel was really well maintained and very clean even compared to some newer properties I’ve stayed at The housekeeping staff even added some special touches that made it clear that they are thorough in their cleaning This is hard to find in a hotel these days! Otherwise it was a standard Hampton Inn, I would stay here again

I’ve stayed here on several occasions over the years, but this time has been a disappointment My room smelled like someone smoked in it, the trash from the previous occupant was still in the can, and no housekeeping was offered My room clearly hadn’t been touched today, even just to take out trash

Breakfast has been fine though, on a positive note

We had a lovely stay here for two nights Our room was large and well appointed, and the bathroom was big and all marble, with a no- fog mirror The hotel was beautiful, very clean, tastefully done

The online check-in was quick and easy, same for checkout There was music in the bar, which was lovely, and the bartender, Robert, was delightful We really loved having a balcony and a nice view of country Club plaza, and we were close to everything The beds were really comfortable, with one firmer pillow and one that was soft and comfy The restaurant was great, and our breakfast was really nice All the hotel employees went out of their way to do whatever they could for usWe did have an issue with the A/C, since I’m always cold and we could not get it warm enough, so we just turned it off The only thing I could suggest is a towel rack in the bathroom by the vanity, that would make things easier, but overall everything was amazing We’re planning on returning, and possibly staying at the concierge level next time Beautiful hotel!

First stay here Hotel is beautiful and spotless Staff are personable and professional

Although requests weren’t spot on the first time, either wrong room or forgot something, every measure was taken to ensure requests were fulfilled Wait and cleaning staff were especially top notch with care attention you’d expect in a five star resort Salad at American Slang restaurant was perfect Rooms were above average, with robe and slippers Management seems somewhat new in the profession but adapting Overall a great great experience

My husband and I had an impromptu date night The room and staff were amazing I highly recommend the concierge package so you can have access to the VIP lounge

Don elevated our experience to make it an unforgettable night There were several people waiting to check in and Jacob, who was walking out the door for the night, stepped in and helped everyone get checked in quickly We cannot wait to stay again
