The rooms/bathrooms were very clean and nice The hotel is in a good location near food places as well as stores The staff was very pleasant and polite from start to finish

The older lady doing the breakfast was a delight every morning, greeting everyone and keeping everything stocked the entire time We came in town to visit Holiday Valley and we will definitely be back next year!

On arrival employee was very nice and explained everything to us We then went to our rooms and was getting settled we realized one of the rooms ac was not working Unfortunately maintenance was not working and unable to fix

We had adjoining rooms so we were able to cool down the rooms that way They did offer us a different room but didn’t have adjoining rooms available despite that we had a nice stay It was close to a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance There is a bar restaurant right next store All the staff that we had seen was very friendly and helpful We are already planning our next stay in the fall

This was the second Holiday Inn Express we stayed in this month The one in Olean is close to the highway which is convenient if you’re just traveling through The room was fine

It had actual towel racks to hang your towels on which doesn’t happen in every hotel room now The bed was comfortable and my favorite thing is that the breakfast goes until 10 on weekdays We usually arrive late when we’re traveling and therefore do not want to get up early for breakfast All of the employees were very friendly and helpful The entire experience was very similar to the other Holiday Inn Express that we stayed in which was near Madison Ohio along Route 90 That was the first time we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and we were impressed enough that we stayed in another one on the way home

We had a small dog with us so we got a ground floor end unit Patio needs a serious weed cutting job We couldn’t sit out back on the patio as the weeds were over a foot high

Otherwise, room was very clean, double vanity great, shower good, king bed comfy Pool was quite cold compared to the Tamarack Pool so we couldn’t walk in like we’re used to at Tamarack Turn the heat up folks

We just stayed there on 8/25/16 and 8/26/16 Rooms are clean Our room 201 smelled musty when entering but that sometimes happen when rooms are closed

Anyway, staying 2 days, I expected to have some clean towels We came back on the 2nd day 8/26 and there was no housekeeping Dont mind if the bed wasnt made, but no clean towels or soap and never took the dirty towels I went to the desk and the girl told me that I didnt hang a sign on the door that I wanted the room cleaned I never heard of that and never seen a sign We left for the day and got back to the rooms, clean towels and a bar of soap, but she didnt even bother to pick up the dirty towels I didnt care that the bed wasnt made, but that doesnt happen elsewhere As the air was on, the smell in that room was awful, could hardly sleep But the other staff members and the cleaning person were very nice and it had a nice breakfast section But I dont think I will stay there again

I’ll start with the room was priced very affordably and the staff were kind and niceHowever Our room was on the other side of the front desk and noisy

Slept with our bathroom fan on to try and block some of the noise The worst though was that our room smelt like a wet dog It was terrible, like the order had leeched into the carpet, the bed, all of it The place is also dated Will not be returning, even if we wanted to save a buck

I struggle with insomnia and have physical injuries and slept ok , family said they slept well so that’s good enough for me Only complaint, or suggestion, desk agent should learn to not be so dramatic in her facial expressions, and should at least review accounts and see if guests are rewards members Perks are perks for a reason, besides you never know who you are actually providing service to, make each guest count

Oh and we loved the automatic pancake maker Wasn’t a big area to have many items but it was clean, and items were fresh

Rooms were very clean and all the towels were very nicely arranged – a pleasant surprise after a long drive Rooms were large Staff were chatty and friendly

Breakfast could have been improved with higher quality produce – it was pretty poor in comparison to other best western hotels Breakfast tables needed more frequent wiping down

Mark Shively

So let start with this About 6yrs ago my wife and stay here It was a good night and the room was also nice and clean

So we were looking for a place to stay when we came home to visit So we decided to stay with you guys again This time we stay for 3 nights with are family We had one of your big rooms It was clean But the beds were not that great The pool was nice But on the 3 night and 4 days we were there The fruit was moody that they were just being the same dish out every morning Also no one ask us how we were doing or if we needed anything I had to ask for more stuff Also they never told us that the internet was down and we needed it on the first day that were there for a zoom meeting But the manager help on that one So that is way I’m giving you 2 star’s this time

My boyfriend and I stayed in a suite at the Wingate for a night this past week We were first greeted by staff who were so kind and made us feel welcome We noticed the facility was very clean upon walking in also

We went up to our room and were both pleasantly surprised! The room was VERY clean It was also spacious and comfortable We will definitely be back to stay again!

I was appauled when during check in was told about the $75 pet charge I didn’t look ahead of time which is my fault But having a screaming toddler in the car and just having had a 2 hour hold up with car issues we were desperate and it was the closest pet friendly hotel

I was expectinga pet fee but have never seen more than a $25 pet fee When we entered our room we immediately found a toe nail on our carpet Gross in any hotel but especially in a hotel that clearly prides itself in cleanliness if you’re charging $75 extra for pets The woman at the front desk was very passive agressive She came and vaccumed to toe nail and then proceeded to vaccum the rest of the room as though it hadnt been done If this was the case we would have appreciated being given a new cleaned room Instead I had to shout for her to stop as we were in the middle of getting ourselves ready to go to the pool with aforementioned toddler who really excited to go I asked on two seperate occasions (check in and check out) to speak with a manager and the woman in the morning said “I’m the best you’re going to get” and really didn’t seem very interested in any sort of customer satisfaction

I requested a smoking room and the guy Gillie who checked us in told me it was smoking room day I rented my room for week they charged me $445 but took $663 off my card called me liar basically then when we left they wouldn’t return the pet fee with no damages made then charged my card $100 twice for cleaning fees bc I smoked in room first night bc I was lied to there was no smoking and I asked 2 or 3 times make sure it was smoking room bc online on their website they say they provide smoking and none smoking If u rent a room here never use ur car bc they will keep finding reasons to charge ur car This is worst hotel I’ve ever been unfortunate to stay at and I’ve rented a room with bugs in the past I would still stay there get eaten by bug all night before them cleaning out my bank card

The women at first desk even said she wouldn’t charge the cleaning fee for smoking and only keep my pet deposit to be even and soon as I walked out the office my card was hit with 2 charges This place is a rip off and I’m call corporate Also the website lies no pool no breakfast and no ice machine and ur lucky if u don’t pop a tire driving in parking lot

Robert J Hanney

Wish I could give it less than 1 star Parking lot was not plowed, totally iced over and due to construction, the only side allowing cars to exit the rear lot is on a 45% angle Our car got stuck twice getting up with winter tires

The hallways were atrocious, like an abandoned building The room was disgusting for a franchise The vinyl flooring was peeling everywhere and completely frozen, shoes needed at all times No phone available to contact front desk Worst of all the ancient room heater never actually warmed the room and the floors stayed frozen and room stayed cold throughout the night What was their remedy to the situation? “Sorry we can’t do anything for you, you should have come in at 6am after checking in a 4am so we could switch your room for you mid morning” Zero customer service, lowest possible quality, stay far away!

Matt Senior

Honestly this place was not that bad for the 60 bucks we paid in a pinch, the roads were getting icy and we had to stop The rooms were the cleanest 60 dollar a night room I have ever stayed at, and the front desk was very friendly Don’t come here expecting a 5 star experience, but you will get a clean room, tv, mini fridge, and a microwave
