Stephen was amazing, great customer service, super friendly and went above and beyond for us to feel welcome The room was a great deal, it’s so inexpensive to stay here and they even gave us free breakfast The grounds where nice, a little small but full of stunning nature for the walkway

(we stayed in a studio and it was great size) I enjoyed that everyone that mostly everyone was nude and super friendly They are welcome to all vibes Definitely would recommend if u want a good inexpensive nude resort

We were here for 3 nights during Pride weekend Nice, clean, well considered room We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub

We met other guests too We took the opportunity to have conversations with the guests and those who run this business Very good service The place is walking distance to the main drag I can imagine this place may become busier when the big residential project close to it is finished We will be back for sure, if we get the chance

Our room was very orderly and clean, very clean The breakfast area was clean and orderly with the usual Holiday Inn fare, so OK The coffee was very good in its own right

The lobby restrooms were very poorly maintained to the point of filthy, please someone, wash the doors! Common area carpets and walls were several marks below as compared to the near glistening room Hard to configure By the way the hotel does not offer electric vehicle charging as does the property next door Very disappointing for an area that is so environmentally conscious

Great look/design and was so excited to stay here Unfortunately, they blast music 12 HRS PER DAY at the pool HOWEVER, the speakers are attached to the motel unit right outside with little to no insulation on this 1950 build I love music but it is like eating chocolate for 12HRS a day

and we’ve been here for 7 DAYS!!! Yes, 7 days, 12 HRS a dayNOT RELAXING as advertised, NOT a good time Great location but they favor policy over client service SUGGESTION: Empower the staff working at THIS hotel (cleaning/repairs), rather than leave control to the management at the sister hotel across the streetwho are controlling volume without any idea of the actual levels!!! YIKES!! We are off to another location and sadly, will never return here NOT RECOMMENDED for a restful vacation experience

Mike Trent

We spent a week here and had a lovely time The manager Laura was wonderful The maid service was on-point

It’s an amazing location, walking distance to the main strip, but still quiet and off the beaten path You can tell that the rooms were recently renovated, but the building age is noticeable The shower was short for my tall frame The doors stick The walls are a little thin I wouldn’t call it luxury, but it was very clean, comfortable, and well worth the price I’d stay here again

Laurel Clark

Great place to stay! It was so peaceful since there aren’t many rooms The room was very spacious – with a front and back entrance Inside there was a fridge, coffee maker, toaster, hot plate, cooking utensils, plates and silverware – so if you don’t want to eat out for every meal, you can definitely cook something! Beds were comfortable

Great ac Really hot water!Hot tub and pool were well maintained Great chairs to lounge in Plenty of space for everyone You can check out bikes from the front desk and cruise around town!Staff were friendly and efficient Everyone wore masks and maintained their distance The power did go out on the block at one point but they have no control over that

Best affordable gay resorts in PS hands down! As someone who needs to be in PS multiple times a year I’ve stayed at all the gay hotels in PS and I’d say this one is a good mix of affordability and relaxing vibe Staff was all friendly, good coffee in the morning and easy check in Sure it isn’t instant bookings like other hotels but def worth it

A great little hotel just a few blocks from downtown Palm Springs (close to the design district) The rooms surround their courtyard and pool which makes it feel very private A friend and I shared a room with two beds which felt quite large

The bathroom was on the smaller side but not uncomfortable The parking seemed to be quite limited but there was always a space open when we needed one I imagine it could be an issue during high season (we stayed in May) I would happily stay here again

Edward’s Gallery

The price seems reasonable until you check out They send someone to view the room and inspect it I had spilled a can of coke (just a few drops) onto the sheet on the bed and they insisted on charging me $100 for new white sheets

Clearly the coke stain would easily come out in the wash with or without bleach Extremely rude about it as well There are more reasonable places to stay with more reasonable staff as well I could not believe they actually charged me $100 for sheets Its absolutely insane to think that is justified I wouldn’t stay here again for fear I might break a coffee mug or glass and be charged an outrageous amount to replace it

Nicole Gaddie

The courtyard area was nice and the hotel is in a good location, very close to the main drag in Palm Springs The rooms have an old feel, and the carpet was raised in parts of my room due to the wear My main concern were ants I found coming out of the tile in the bathroom

One actually bit my foot The water in my shower got warm but not hot and there wasn’t enough parking one of the nights of my stay Hotel staff was accommodating and nice, I just don’t think I’d go through the inconveniences again, especially when I’m paying $247/night

Staff were nice My first room wreaked of cigarettes and they changed my room promptlyRoom was nice

I liked the layout with the extra vanity space I was on the ground floor with a patio door facing the pool area I would have liked to sit outside on the patio but the furniture was stained and I didn’t want to sit on the chairsThe room appeared it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, dust covering most surfaces A/C was cold and room was comfortable enough Good location for downtownOn-site parking was extraweird especially since it was self-park I parked on the street at no charge For the price, I would have expected a bit “more”

This way a very good experience that could have been very bad For some reason, only part of our reservation went through for a conference we were having We found the conference rooms we booked, but not the actual hotel rooms weren’t found

I have to give the biggest shout out to Mark!!! He made sure to be caring and attentive in the midst of the chaos We weren’t able to get the 2 rooms we originally thought we were getting; however, we did at least get one room that Mark was so gracious to accommodate us with!Side Note: Jorge was also very helpful in assisting us with the seminar room set up! We all banded together and got it cleaned and set up properly before our clients showed upAll in all, it was a very good experience Thank you for maintaining professional and courteousness in the midst of how mean the world has been the past 2 years It hasn’t gone unnoticed Blessings on you and all your staff!

We were passing through from WA to AZ – I’m giving 2 stars and not one because we are able to get a room last minute We are traveling with small childrenDownsides:-Parking is $17 a day and a good spot that is close is hard to come by

-I don’t like finding human hair in hotel rooms, or fingernails Cleanliness could be improved-We had to sign a waiver that this was a pet friendly hotel This information was not readily available when we made our reservations The hallway to our room smelled like pee and there was many uncleaned pee spots Luckily our room smelled okay-The pool closes at 9:30 We love to go to the pool late in the evening for a quick swim with my boys This certainly felt like the were trying to keep the partying to a minimum-“Last call” at the hotel bars was also extremely early, earlier than the pool closed I think It seemed like they were trying to squash the party scene – which is fine by me (tired mom) but ppl just go back to their room and are loud

People rave about the staff here, and we have to agree, wonderful staff We had a nice room that we were very happy with The day we were leaving, I ordered room service, breakfast

Excluding tip, the breakfast came to over $100 Instead of a nice breakfast that we could enjoy, it came in boxes with plastic cutlery It was like camping The food was impossible to eat because you couldn’t cut anything with the cheap plastic cutlery Instead of a nice pot of coffee that you could keep warm, the coffee came in paper cups Not only is this tremendously wasteful, it is not room service, it’s take-out Also, there was no place for both of us to eat My husband had to bring in a seat table from the patio If you want a hotel room that you can relax in and have room service, this is not the place

Laura Lyons

Worth it for the pool alone!I can’t think of one negative about this hotel From when we walked into the lobby to when we checked out, everything was great The room was spacious, clean and up to date and the location in the heart of Palm Springs can’t be beat

The rooftop pool is the best part, with amazing views, friendly people and great cocktails The cold brew at Juniper is a must try

Chantal Partenza

A great stay, excellent service, and courteous team More importantly, HONEST STAFF! I left behind in my room a Chanel perfume and body cream Once I arrived home, I’ve called the hotel manager and he immediately reached out to the room service team and my items were found

Alicia the individual who did our room returned my items She could easily just keep the products but instead she returned them Permit me thank you and express my gratitude to you Alicia and Mauro A very delighted customer

While this hotel has comfortable rooms well equipped for business trips, please know that if you stay here there is only one place to park That is in their self park parking lot for which you will have to pay a nightly fee The parking lot is totally open and with no security measures, such as video surveillance

After our first night there, we were contacted by the front desk to inform us that our car had been broken into Nothing of value was taken but we ended up with a $400 expense to repair the window When I asked the hotel management about whether they had any security cameras in the parking lot, he informed me that there were not When pressed further as to why customers are expected to pay for a parking lot with no security measures in place, he basically had an “I’m sorry, but that’s just the way it is, and you are lucky you are not staying at our neighboring hotel which charges a much higher parking fee” That is not good enough! I am really put off by companies which don’t care enough to take even simple basic measures to ensure the safety, comfort, and well being of their guests Will it cut into Marriott’s bottom line too much to ask for the relatively small expense of adding video cameras and warning signage that the parking lot is under surveillance? I know that may not be enough to be a 100% deterrent, but it probably would help! Needless to say, we won’t be back here because of the apathy regarding concern for customer care and well being The employees were courteous, professional, and expressed their regrets for the incident, but that is not good enough Please do better!

Priscilla Langdon

I stayed here the end of April-beginning of May It was the weekend stagecoach and the white party were happening Being that this is a hotel operated by the Marriot I expected better

To begin, they only have a security camera at the front desk There are cameras nowhere else on the property and there are no security guards or anything of that nature on property I was here for work My stay ended with my car getting broken into, the window shattered and several things stolen, within a matter of 4 hours from the moment I got back to the hotel to sleep and awoke at 7 am I was given nothing but the option for a free breakfast at the cafe or whatever they have there After leaving the hotel, I reached out to the manager several times and left a few voicemails simply wanting to talk about my experience and to recommend that the property increase their level of security I will not be staying here or any courtyard by Marriott ever again and will not recommend it either

This is a well kept hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds Breakfast in the morning was nice to have I really liked the location

Biggest complaint is that there was a full on pool party of 10 drunk and obnoxious adults the main day we were Only two people from the group were staying at the hotel, and the others were saying something about their “day pass” Apparently the hotel lets people that aren’t staying at the hotel use the pool? That was kind of annoying I wouldn’t minded so much if they had been chill, but they literally took over the entire pool, were yelling, brought their own music (that was not good) and no one at the hotel did anything about it If they hadn’t been there this would likely be a new favorite spot to stay in PS

Laura Tapp

We had to make an unexpected trip to Palm Springs for a family emergency on a holiday and music festival weekend Fransisco, Scott, and ALL the staff were absolutely marvelous! They went above and beyond any expectations we had and made sure we were taken care of I hate that our first trip to Palm Springs had to be under such circumstances

But I can tell you the views from this hotel are beautiful! The pool is warm and the fire pit is a wonderful place to relax in the evening Breakfast was also delicious! If I ever come back to Palm Springs I will not hesitate to stay here again because the staff almost feels like family

Had an amazing weekend there with my husband & two year old Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming The pool area was amazing

Bed was very comfortable Only complaint is that our room was pretty dark – thought we were getting a balcony room (but we got one with a living area, which was nice too) Just wish we had a bit more natural light Will definitely visit again!

The hotel was super elegant, clean, friendly staff ( especially Alex M), the pool was clean, the room was very neat and smells so good we really enjoyed the cold ice water in the lobby The hot meal breakfast was fantastic

The bacon was super yummy, the french toast and the syrup was perfect not even sweet The waitress was so hospitable Super love the atmosphere in this hotel Inside the Elevator and the hallways was quite too hot, other than that I highly recommend this hotel

Old building so you can hear everything – I woke up a lot through the night Great pool area but lounge chairs fill up quickly No wifi entire stay – complained to the desk numerous times and it was never resolved

They never told us we needed to request linen servicing the night before so our beds were never made/sheets were never changed Breakfast was laughable – moldy clementines, cheap packaged baked goods, and granola bars For the price, there have to be better hotels in Palm Springs – look elsewhere

Great hotel close to everything Nice room great hot tub Spanish style hotel with outdoor hallways and seating to take in views of the mountains and desert

Nice pool however they are constructing a building next door and we’re hammering all day But if you want to relax just pop in some earbuds Standard best western breakfast but there is tables by the pool and in courtyards to eat

I definitely recommend the Best Western at Las Brisas The hotel is located in beautiful Palm Springs and is in walking distance to shopping and restaurants The scenary is beautiful

We stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel staff had exceptional customer service throughout our stay The rooms were clean and equippedwith a mini fridge and coffee maker The pool is so welcoming along with the hot tub The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of options We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making our stay in Palm Springs so enjoyable

Great hotel and great value The property was nicely designed, clean and peaceful Wish we’d have had time to try out the pool and hot tub but the pool area looked nice with a good amount of shade

Breakfast was well stocked with tasty options Will definitely put Las Brisas at the top of the list of places to stay next time we come to Palm Springs!

Staff is super friendly and accommodating However, the hotel itself is just not worth the price Mandatory valet required me to watch someone drive my car ~20 steps to a parking spot and then wait (although not long) to have it retrieved

Photos online were very generous and set expectations a little too high based on the property itself I’ll admit part of this was due to covid limitations and lack of full amenities like the hot tub not turned on and the on-site restaurant being closed, but prices should take these limitations into accountDog friendly, which is nice but as previous reviews state, your dog must be with you at all times This is pretty standard and they have a list of dog-friendly restaurants in the area that they provide to you, which was a nice touchThe folio at the end of the trip was a little convoluted For each day there were 15 line items (no food/drink/etc were billed to the room) including repeat taxes & assessments listed 3 separate times each day with varying amounts This may be a city/county issue and not specific to this hotel but should be addressedLocation was good, staff were excellent, just overpriced for what it is

Tessa

The building and room are not up to the standards one expects from Marriott and for the price you pay However the staff were delightful and wonderful to talk with Also free street parking nearby

The hotel itself has undergone a lot of renovations to get where it is but it has a long way to go Our shower door didn’t close all the way meaning our floor was always wet Walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside and in the rooms adjacent including barking dogs Our bathroom smelled like sewer gas when the air came on And our bedding was even dirty when we first got into our room We really wanted to like this place for the historic value of the buildings and the site but for the price it is very much not worth it There are a lot of other hotels nearby that are cleaner and don’t look like a flip gone awry

Fred U

Nice little hotel Two swimming pools both small and clean and saltwater The rooms are clean and nice, with big comfy beds

The main problem for me was the bathroom – the shower head is pretty basic with no power and sufficient spray The toilet doesn’t have sufficient suction to completely flush on the first try🙁 The staff is excellent, kind and friendly The price is also an excellent value

This hotel was awesome! The valet staff got my car out as needed and they have a great attitude about it They let you know about any events they have as well The front desk attendant was 10/10 she checked me in with 0 hassle and also was in great spirits

They are so welcoming The lounge is great too it’s very retro modern and includes huge vintage speakers The bar is also on that floor and includes its own Starbucks!! The rooms are very nice and updated and we had a balcony facing the street (ask for one facing the pool if you like that) I went swimming and the pool was clean and spacious They also have a jacuzzi I was very impressed and found the price very reasonable for the enjoyment I experienced Everything from restaurants to bars and other amenities are all on the major street If you are in PALM SPRINGS please come and check this place out! ❤

Lynne Owens

We were there three nights for an event The event ran from 5 to 8 on Friday and 10 to 6 on Saturday, later you will see why this is important Our bill was $800

00ProsThe facility has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are spacious and cleanThe staff was unfailingly helpful and courteous They went out of their way to be niceConsThe beds are a mile highThere were no glasses, plastic or otherwise in the bathroomThe only coffee by the coffee maker was dark roastThe lounge had unspeakably loud music in the eveningThere was no food available after 8 pm, not even room service or grab and goThis group would have been okay if the rooms were serviced every day, but they were not serviced at all while we were there, which I understand butThere was one bar of soap and one set of toiletriesThere were only two bottles of water in the roomThere were two complete sets of towels, plus an extra bath towelThere were only two paper cups by the coffee maker

I’ve actually stayed here a couple times as its been a different names in the past, last being Hard RockStaff – From Valet being very friendly and quick, to check in being quick and easy, to the bar employees are knowledgeable and cool to to talk toPool – Small and simple, but they do have plenty of seating for the size of the pool

They host a few different events here that are cool but can get packed very quickVenue – Place is small but has everything you need from a nice lobby, bar, essentials store, and restaurantRooms – Very spacious with decent decor and cleanRates – Depending on the time you come they usually have very competitive pricesThey also have a club next doorOverall it’s a great location in downtown, they offer everything you need Worth staying here and checking it out

Super cute boutique hotel! We were very positively surprised about it 2 heated pools Each suite has its own patio either private jacuzzi

Staff was super nice and helpful I think there are only 7 suites, which made it perfect for us It was super quiet but close to the Downtown area (2-3 blocks) Wish there was a food option in there but lots of restaurant are near by We would definitely come back!

K Roberts

Best Stay Ever !!! my wife and i are frequent travelers and The Talavera will stay at the top of our list The entire staff was very attentive and professional We’ll be staying there every chance we get

The pool, jacuzzi, room and landscape is well taken care of Special shout-out to the manager, she made sure all of our needs were met This place is definitely the “Diamond In The Ruff” !!!

Valentina Djordjevic

Loved this romantic accomodation! The private hot tub, fire, candles, decor It was excellent Great value

Also, the property has a pretty pool areaCons: water pressure in the shower is very minimal, like trying to wash your body under a fire house Also, there are only mirrors in the bathroom which makes it logistically difficult to get ready (hair or makeup) when someone else is showering No bathroom fan

Experience was great right from arrival, haha The place is architecturally beautiful, and staff are friendly and helpful Our patio suite was great, very spacious, but definitely open concept so maybe a bit much for a conservative type

It could use a bit more of a defined/ luggage-friendly setup We didn’t use the car parking but it looked like there were plenty of spaces Food and drinks were great but they’re launching a new menu as we’re here so hopefully we get to try that, it looks tasty! Would love to come back during a bit busier season and see what that’s like

Adam Barnes

This place was the absolute highlight of our two week trip across California From start to finish, it was a perfect experience – and the most fantastic place to chill for a few days The rooms were spacious, had great a/c, and were well stocked with products, and the mini bar was pretty reasonably priced

The staff were all so lovely, and went above and beyond regularly to make our stay as enjoyable as possible We could have sat by that pool for a week! The ice cream shop and cafe next door is an absolute must visit too

Hector Aguayo

My girlfriend and I had a great experience Relaxed vibe Great design- hip and luxurious boutique with a minimalist approach

We will definitely come back Nothing bad to say about this place Pool service was amazing Free bike rental was convenient Food was actually very good Recommended breakfast burrito and taro chips and guac Im trying to think of any cons but I can’t During the week is the best time to stay

The hotel appears to be a colorfully painted motel 6 The decor is cute Check in isn’t until 4pm, pets are allowed

We got a room with two beds, they felt clean and comfortable The room itself was pretty simple, there are definitely signs of wear and tear in the rooms The walls are very thin, heard the next rooms whole conversation The pool is a good size but was packed with so many people, there was a DJ from one of the balconies and it was honestly so loud that people were having to yell to keep a conversation I wasn’t able to really enjoy the pool given there were so many people just standing in it with little to no room to swim Key card didn’t work, had to wait in a long line to reset the key cardEnded up going to the pool the next morning since the pool is open early and closes late, it was much better, less peopleOverall, a pool party hotel and not worth the pricePros: Comfortable/clean beds and room, cool pool and other activitiesCons: Crowded pool and overpriced

Daniell Marlow

The Saguaro was amazingMy girlfriend and I were just looking to escape LA for the weekend and found a colorful oasis with quality drinks, spacious rooms, and a lively atmosphereEvery part of our stay was wonderful, from the clean parking lot to the daily freshened bathroom and extremely hot showers

We didn’t have a chance to try the spa, but the pool amenities, pool bar, mini-bar, view, delicious restaurant, and heated pool were out of this worldVery relaxing weekend Couldn’t of done it without The Saguaro

Kristin Caldwell

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and mostly return for the energy and the pool This review is solely for Jeremy! Jeremy took amazing care of us for the two days we had our cabana Despite the fact that he was the only person providing service to the entire pool for a few hours on our second day, he still provided attentive service with a positive and friendly attitude

He was the epitome of service with a smile Really, he always had a smile!
