This hotel doesn’t even deserve 1 star I often stay with Marriott for business, but my experience here, at this location has finalized my decision to never use Marriott again I booked a room for 4 nights for my son and I

I was told while booking the room that my card on my profile would be charged and my son could check in since he was arriving a day early Once he arrived, the people at the front desk told him he would have to swipe his card No problem! Except they already charged my card for the whole week!! (thought they said I had to swipe it?) Room # and mobile key even showed up on the app My son swiped his card for one night while we were going to figure out the restTuesday morning my card is charge 3 times!! Then they charged my sons card as well (for the whole week)!! I called confused and irritated I was placed on hold twice for 27 minutes and then 31 minutes When I called back I was met with arguing, and total attitude by the young man answering the phone He hung up on me 3 times!! I called again and got “Hannah” the assistant manager on the line who was worse than the first guy She was abrasive, accused me of lying, and when I told her that her attitude would be the demise of my relationship with Marriott, she said “do what you need to do” she did not careProblem after problem When my son checked out, “Kyle” told him “you know the problems were your fault” WHAT!!!I was on the phone for hours with corporate as they straightened things out Recognizing that I am a valued customer who has never had an issue at a Marriott locationIf you don’t want to be treated like your in a motel, and you don’t want mistakes made on your credit card, don’t go here Marriott must be having a hard time finding staff to have this team!! Unbelievable

This freshly remodeled room is stuck in the past We experienced our room keys failing after one day, coffee pot missing parts to make coffee, Netflix being limited to non 4k user accounts, and being locked out of the overall hotel So overall it’s a close spot to Legoland but it’s outdated even as a recently remodeled location

Also the HVAC system is located in the bedroom of your one bedroom suite so anticipate a loud night Housekeeping comes every 10 days Calling for room service is like talking to a wall We called for more towels and shampoo and got a bunch of everything but what we asked for Must be a game for the staff

Jenn M

Room was nice and clean and somewhat new, but everything else was frustrating Breakfast bar layout is a series of tiny corners and bottlenecks where all the guests and multitude of staff got crammed in Constantly running out of stuff

Fruit was sketchy Room basically flooded (guess they never heard of Legionella, apparently happens often which explains the faint musty smell) and very noisy due to thin walls, construction, and extremely loud HVAC Wi-Fi weak or didn’t work Security non-existent bc of the construction Lighting in the rooms was poor Style without substance

We just had yet another awesome stay at this wonderful property With 5 of us travelling (my wife and 3 children) we need a lot of room so we booked a two bedroom suite and it was perfect, with more than enough room and all the amenities you could want The staff was super friendly and professional and we really felt at home

A special shout out to the lady that runs the activity center and leads the morning hikes She was the greatest! My family really enjoyed some of the art activities that she offered and I was really impressed by her knowledge of the local flora and fauna as she pointed out various interesting bits of information as she led the morning nature hikes The food was great both at the Cove bar and when the wife and I wanted something a little more upscale the Restaurant at the Westin (which was only a two minute walk from our room) was fantastic I’d just like to thank the staff for making our stay so special and in particular Ms Megan Connor the GM who makes it all happen

James Deguzman

The rooms are nice and spacious The staff is what makes this place great The front desk personnel were nice and courteous and very accommodating

Our room was super clean by housekeeping upon arrival I also noticed the cleaning staff clean the bbq grills on a regular basis Events staff and employees around the pool area were all super friendly and helpful All the staff make this place an amazing place to stay

BB rEflecTion

Beautiful area, direct access to Lego land Easy trail to walk on Good pool side services

One of TV in our bedroom is broken on sound, but everything else in the room is fine There’s some construction going on but not bad on noise level ( To be fair, the screaming kids at the pool is the responsibility of the parents) This is one of good HGVC properties that actually care about the owners, compared to some others I had been Keep it up and we’ll be back!

This is not to rip on the cleaners and casual maintainers of the hotel, but the rooms are in desperate need of renovations:* our room smelled of carcinogenic cleaner (new car smell)* the carpet was frayed* the smoke detectors were falling out the wall* walls were repainted so many times that the doors couldn’t close in their frames without whinnying with frictionDon’t get me wrong This seems like a nice hotel for families; it’s in need of love

Alexandra Alvarez

The room smells of mold We had a late check in only to get a dirty room with a broken microwave They refused to change our room or fix our microwave

They also claim to have no managers working all weekend The parking is $29 They have loud people staying there and partying and the front desk does nothing about it One of the front desk workers literally walked past a room of guest partying in their room when she came to “check” our microwave Worst Hyatt I’ve stayed at I would never recommend to anyone or stay here

khrisztian

Great apart-hotel close to Rosecrans Ave / Aviation Easy parking and fully equipped rooms with electric stove, dishwasher and sink Desk and queen bed

Free WiFi and Chromecast on the TVCOVID changed housekeeping mechanics: now you need to request room service at front desk (once every 3 days)Breakfast is included, but very basic Scrambled eggs never met the eggs Ie: they don’t seem “real” But good enough buffet overall

Good place to stay for an apartment style hotel visit I think it’s great for families who want to be able to cook a little something during their stay or great way to split costs on by sharing a 2 bedroom apartments Most people seem to be business visitors though

The two bedroom suites are spaced well and each room has its own shower, bed, and desk The beds are great, and room service was good Front desk was nice The morning breakfast is great There is an omelette bar, hot foods, cold quick grab and eats, and a good selection of teas Coffee is available as well It has close access to 580E and a bunch of shops nearby The only negative is it is just like an apartment so you can hear your neighbor from time to time The stay was pretty quiet but definitely got noticably louder when the weekend crowd arrived Be sure to call for your booking if you plan on using a company discount It’s a headache online

Janet Williams

Beautiful place to stay, very clean love the separate bedroom, the kitchen was very clean and we parked right in front of our room Staff very friendly and professional The snack section in the lobby had a great selection, small Digiorno pizza

Lean cuisines, Amy’s enchilada, lots of good frozen food selection for a quick meal, lots of cold water bottles Sodas and other snacks Great clean place to stay in a beautiful part of town, would stay again

Mr And Mrs Pinkard

If you’re going to spend time in this area, I would suggest making reservations here Enjoyed engagement with the front desk staff and certainly hope they were willing to go out of their way to get my wife and I to our room quickly While the only thing I wished were different was a shuttle to the airport, I understand that the distance from the airport matters with gas prices as they are

My family of six spent overnight at this Holiday Inn We were very comfortable Our room included two full size beds and a double bunk bed

The facility is clean and the rooms are presentable Even though this hotel rating is low, we found the accommodation excellent Staff was nice They responded to our request for additional towels and tooth brush We asked for a late checkout too We enjoyed their full breakfast complement especially the automatic pancake making machine Flat sausage was a bit dry and cheese omelette tasted synthetic Biscuits and gravy was nice Juice, fruit, and package cereal rounded out their breakfast offering We don’t mind returning here

King Sean

Supper friendly staff! They had a unique situation where a major repair was needed for the hot waterThey clearly communicated what would be happening and whenWhile I was not personally impacted from the situation, I heard from coworkers and staff, how the maintenance and repairs were completed sooner than anticipated and with far less impact to the guests, than anticipated

(Props to the contractors who fixed the aforementioned situation)A few other benefits I found:It was cleaner than most places I’ve stayed (I spent 261 nights in hotels in 2021, if that means anything)Conveniently located in close proximity to a wide variety if shopping, dining and entertainment establishments, all this and only 30 minutes from the Sacramento AirportThe continental breakfast is well set up Food was always, tasty, fresh and the serving area cleanDefinitely wouldn’t would Stat here againMy stay was 12 nights with this written on the 7th night of the stay, for context

Rosemeri Nogueira

My Boyfriend and I usually spend at least 1 night every week at the Holiday Inn hotel, and everything time Heather from the reception welcome us with the most amazing smile and is always extremely helpful, I can’t forget to mentioned Aurora, who is responsible for the breakfast in the morning, who is always happy and the service is impeccable We are very satisfied with the rooms and all the staff that work there, you guys are amazing, thank you for making our staying there so enjoyable I can’t forget to mention Heather once more, that personalised our stay form

Thank you Heather, we loved it Rose and Mr Blue

Well for starters the bed was not made correctly Instead of a comforter there was a fitted sheet in its place It made for a horrible sleep

We also needed some towels so we decided to ask for room service after the third day They said we needed to stay 5 nights to get that service and it has to be scheduled 24 hours in advance On the fourth night my son decided to yell through the door we were out of toilet paper! Soooo I had to walk my happy rear end downstairs to get my own re fill of paper I just it was so weird that a hotel at this price you don’t get your room cleaned, have to get towels and re fill your own soap and toilet paper Not to mention it was a little dirty when we arrived but decided when they service the room we will let them know but that didn’t happen Luckily my wife brought Lysol wipes and cleaned the gross spots and floor herself If you like paying top dollar for a room and doing all your own housekeeping I would say this is definitely the place! Although the breakfast was delightfully good

keisha albert

Very nice hotel, the location is near a bunch of little shops you can walk to and it was near a small park that goes to a nice shopping center, Also only 15 mins from the beach! The hotel itself was clean and spacious had everything you needed to cook! The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the carpet in there was really dirty and brown and had dirt spots all over it definitely needed to be cleaned and was kind of Gross & The couch looked as if it needed to be cleaned as well!!I also would like to mention the breakfast is not great for this location, Not much of a selection you’ll definitely have to go somewhere for breakfast! I’ve been to Hilton suites where the breakfast was amazing a little disappointing in this one!

Audrey Luo

Pros: the hot tub, bigger roomCons: not so clean I found a long white piece of something in the coffee maker filter which looked like a worm (it’s too gross to take a picture)

There’s problem with the sink drainage too and it smelled bad The breakfast was over at 9am, way too early I was lucky to finish my business call at 8:50am so I had the chance to eat a few things The location was not convenient It’s far from the highway and main streets Would not stay there again

Really friendly front office staff during the day time and super helpful BUT… the cons are big:1 Carpet is so old and grimy you don’t want to walk on it with bare feet2

The chairs are completely worn out and desperately need replacing3 The guy at the front desk in the evenings and nights is terrible – Matt He is rude, unhelpful, and takes no responsibility for anything Leaking pipe with water all over the floor? Too bad- “this is not a full service hotel so just throw towels down until the morning ” Noisy drunk party with screaming late at night? Too bad, “There is nothing I can do, I’m just at the front desk” His attitude is terrible and makes you wonder how they can charge SO much while hiring such a horrific staff memberIf it wasn’t for this I would give a higher rating, but a dirty carpet, worn out furniture, lack of sleep, issues with the room, and downright rudeness made this a place one we would never recommend to anyone

Jill M

The hotel claims that they have their full breakfast back up and running, but it is not They no longer have any hot protein options They serve pre-packaged items which are microwaved and placed in the warmer in the plastic, cereal, pre-packaged hard boiled eggs that are rubbery, a few pastries, apples, juice, coffee and milk

Definitely more of a continental breakfast They have discontinued their evening receptions as well This Residence Inn is among the many businesses that use the pandemic as an excuse to cut back the services they offer and still expect to charge as much or more for the reduced services As a Lifetime Platinum reward member, I was truly disappointed in this Residence Inn

Larry Delaney

Incompetence runs from front desk, housekeeping directly to management’s office We were charged an extra three weeks for a stay after we had checked out We provided ample data that we had vacated the property and the stay had ended, but the manager refused to refund the additional $3,200 we were unjustifiably charged

BonVoy was useless in resolving the situation Word to the wise: Make sure you shout to the rooftops when you check out If not, you’ll be charged until your credit card expires! Unfortunately, the last time we’ll see The Residence Inn Spectrum again will be in Small Claims court

This hotel is run so well It looks and feels high end without the high end price The rooms were very clean, quite spacious (we had a 1-king room)

The shower was double wide which felt luxurious The free breakfast was good both days, lots of options for both hot and cold breakfast The staff were always kind, like you were fast friends anytime you ran into them I generally dislike hotel stays – nothing is as good as your own bed – but I’d stay here again without hesitation

Kirby Gray

This hotel was extremely cozy the lobby was wonderful I love the fireplace and the fountain in addition

The room and overall facility was nice The staff were friendly and the front desk employees were prompt The breakfast was typical for a hotel, though I believe they may have cooked eggs to order, but I didn’t observe this and the person responsible was usually in the back

The bartender wasn’t friendly Aside from not being friendly, she told me I had to get silverware from the front desk, which was ridiculous as they serve breakfast in the same area and use plastic silverware; I think she just didn’t want to get it, though there was only one other customer in the restaurant I’m giving only give 3 stars as housekeeping was far below what I would expect We stayed Mon-Sat and our room was taken care of one time I understand staffing shortages, and don’t need my room cleaned daily, but access to towels and toilet paper would have helped a great deal Daily, I had to search out towels on my own Luckily the housekeeping office was just up the hall, so if the door was open, I could retrieve towels If the office door wasn’t open I had to wait on the front desk to send someone up, which often took a while Unfortunately it wasn’t until the middle of the night, 2am, that I realized I should have stocked up on TP I’d recommend if there is a lack of staff, have guests put their towels outside the door and someone could go by with a cart, take them, replace them and leave TP I would have been okay with that

Jack Gold

Was not worth $200+/night Took 2 hours to check in Got charged an extra $125 for no reason with no notification

Breakfast was okay but options were limited as was access to the breakfast room If paying this much for a room, guests should be able to grab a cup of tea or other snack outside of breakfast hours Hot tub at pool was drained despite being advertised as openWouldn’t recommend staying here

Joe Mogush

It’s actually a nice immaculate hotel Unfortunately, they let regular cars park in their electric vehicle charging spots I pay extra to stay at the Ayres hotel and out of my way so that I can charge my car at night

this happened both nights I was here; one night, I could not get a charging spot because they were filled with regular combustion engine vehicles What’s the point of having electric car chargers if you can’t get to them

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): AMAZING STAFF!! Polite, friendly, accommodating, and genuine! My Company and I will be back!More In-depth Review:I booked the courtyard last minute due to a scheduling snafu at another Marriot Location, and I am glad I did! The facilities were clean, the location was excellent, and the staff was TOP TIER!!! Honestly, I would book this place again based on the staff alone! They were all wonderful, kind, and worked well together! It is evident that their communication with each other is second to none! As a personal customer, they were amazing at making me feel like a guest at their home vs a guest at a hotel From a bystander in the lobby, I watched as the staff help each other out when they got backed up without missing a beat and kept everything streamlined I watched them handle difficult customers without a twinge of hesitation to provide the best service for their location

It is evident that this location consists of quality people who care about the service they provide I hope it is okay to give a quick shoutout to a few people I wrote downJanis, Garrett, Alyri, and Michelle you all are the ROCKSTARS that make this place run! You’re absolutely killing it, and it is because of your service that my company will be back! Thank you all again!

Delfin made us feel right at home despite our late check in, being very courteous, helpful, and friendly in answering our needs and going above and beyond to make our stay restful and relaxing The room itself was really functional, relaxing, extremely clean, had a huge TV, and was completely silent in allowing us to get a perfect good night’s rest before our flight Thank you so much for having us!

What a fantastic experience Everyone who works here was absolutely fabulous – from check in, to house keeping, to the bartenders and the breakfasts staff The lobby is modern and inviting, the rooms are large and clean, bathrooms were immaculate, beds comfortable and breakfast delicious

They pay attention to detail and the value is unreal Happy hour nightly with 2 free drinks per guest(tip your bartenders!) and breakfast had a ton of options and was delicious(tip the folks working to clear r the tables!) The employees here work hard and seem genuinely happy to be there Highly recommend and would stay again

This was my first group event since March 2020 so I was a little tentative I received very credible assurances on the safety protocols and felt comfortable bringing in 25 corporate guests for 3 days The hotel appeared fully staffed (some don’t these days) and the group coordinator was helpful and competent

The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable The restaurant offers an excellent, cooked-to-order breakfast I did one Italian buffet dinner which was delicious and service was flawless Embassy Suites continues to be my choice for corporate groups

Had the best time with my husband and son Beautiful modern style furniture Very clean and simple

They were so accommodating, hands down some of the best room service food I’ve ever eaten That says a lot we’ve traveled around the world They also gave us complimentary drinks (2) each which is typically unheard of drinks were perfect not too strong or too sweet We will definitely be returning

The hotel is beautiful especially at night The staff that I came in contact with were friendly and helpful The one bedroom with pull out sofa was super spacious and very clean

I used their gym and was excited that it was updated equipment But make sure you bring your own towel The breakfast was free and very good which saved us a lot of money The free parking was a hit because now hotel charge which is ridiculous I also enjoyed the portraits that were on the first floor which gave a history of the family that started the Ayers Hotel This is definitely a hidden gem in Chino Hills California

The bathtub is extremely slippery but there are no hand bars installed on the side wall Bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap fixed on the wall above the bathtub make things worse as drops from these bottles coat the already slippery surface of where you are standing Called the management but been told there s nothing he can do about it (which is true

) This is simply a matter of time someone gets seriously injured if left unattended A complaint but also a genuine adviceRe parking, found out only after check in that they will charge $10/night even for IHG members Don’t remember seeing this at IHG website during reservation and never told during check in They did not even ask whether I have a car (or asking for plate number) at check in so wonder how they will justify their charge at check out Trust exempting charges for members would encourage new subscriptions Nonetheless, it seems most other hotels in the area do charge for parking tooOther than the above two issues, as a 2 star hotel, the room condition, location, breakfast and staffs were generally satisfactory

Came here with a large group The employees were super friendly and accommodating to ALL of our needs Even for asks they couldn’t fulfill themselves, they found a compromise! Their breakfast was also really good for your typical bed and breakfast

Loved the basketball court, pool, fire pit, and den/lounge! Definitely recommend staying here especially for families

We got the wrong hotel at first Went to the Suites instead of the hotel since we stayed there last January It was confusing but now I could tell the difference

We needed to check in early before 3pm The ladies from the front desk were very helpful Wish I got their names to say thank you Only stayed for a night with my boyfriend, his sister and her boyfriend Only for a night but the overall experience was awesome! Love how spacious and clean the room was Love that the AC was actually working fine The AC we had at the Suites was broken but overall comfort and affordability superseded Love staying at Ayres whenever we attend events at San Bernardino Very close to everything including the mall and restaurants We Love Ayres!

Overall an ok experienceThe pros: We enjoyed the breakfast, pool, and room The cleaning staff was super friendly and one front desk gentleman helped me get honey and lemon for my son’s voice

The cons: Wifi difficulties and inconsistencies made it hard to work The fire-pit was broken and not fixed the entire week we were there We were looking forward to hanging out at it On the last day, an employee kept complaining on our kids for typical things they had been doing all week long without any complaints – playing in our room, playing catch with a soft nerf ball out back, moving from one room upstairs to one room downstairs They even called our room to complain It was extra frustrating and ridiculous considering on our first night a woman was being arrested and screaming in the lobby and these same kids were scared and had to run away As parents, we are a police officer, correction officer and teacher Our kids were not acting out of the ordinary Based on the employees working our last morning, I would not consider this a family-friendly location

APlus Tire and Service

I always stay at an Ayers property when flying into Ontario I find them clean, friendly, and fairly well kept I also find them to be a little pricey for what they are

I stayed on Vinyard property until you sold it, we had a corporate rate set up there and it was priced more along the lines i was used to the properties on Milliken are just as nice, but, a little pricey for what they are to me I will continue to stay at your propertiesThank you

Stayed here for 5 days in for my cousin’s wedding Staff is absolutely amazing They really know how to make you feel appreciated

One thing I will say is that I wish they included potatoes with their complimentary breakfast It was a very nice breakfast to be honest with lots of optionsWell worth it to stay here, trust me bro

Treena Wynn

Staff is AMAZING! The exterior doors are very heavy and hard to open and go out of order all the time The rooms are OK but there is always a lot of unceasing noise from whomever is above you no matter what room you are in Usually the rooms are clean depending on who is cleaning

Things do get missed People don’t clean up after their dogs here or around the property There should be a fee for dog clean up Breakfast is just OK They serve sausage almost everyday which is kinda gross and becoming very mundane and not appetizing The french toast is normally dry and hard and cannot be chewed The bacon is A LOT better but they only serve Once a week Dinner is OK I only recommend the orange chicken, pizza, possibly hamburgers and hot dogs Although, they need to upgrade quality of meat Maybe have a nachos night and more pizza nights? The spaghetti is gross They have laundry which is nice but one or more of the machines go out all the time They advertise extended stay but you Must check out after 26 days

Andrew O’Brien

Overall, my experience with the Staybridge Suites in Irvine was very good The staff were very friendly and helpful, the common areas and room were clean, the breakfast was excellent all 3 days of my stay, and the location was very convenient for my needs The one opportunity from my experience is to have enforced stop / start times for the sport court area

During my stay, a group was out playing basketball right outside my window until after midnight and another group started up around 6am the next day Outside of this, excellent experience and I would recommend to others
