An amazing experience at the Hilton Richmond Downtown! My family and I attended the Va governor’s inauguration and stayed at the Hilton The staff were beyond friendly and helpful Super clean and in a excellent location in the capital area

Will definitely be visiting again I’m the future Also the breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings was superb! Thanks again for the experience!!

Main Street Guymon

The room was large and very comfortable, although the cleaning of the room was a bit poor The staff at the desk and valet were excellent The staff at the restaurant were worse than poor

in addition, the hours of the one and only restauarant were very short and not handy at all for wanting to work and eat in the hotel Thank goodness for Door Dash The breakfast was good with good service, but for $20 it should have been good It wasn’t Hilton quality

Deja & Lawryn Taylor

We used the hotel for a wedding party room block Everything was great except for valet I loved the front desk staff as they were so helpful and did above and beyond! They were so personable too! The rooms were very clean and spacious

Water temperature was perfect! You could just melt into the bed omg so comfy! One of the rooms heat wasn’t working and they swiftly moved us to another room and took one nights stay off! It was a very comfortable stay but valet was a pain because they took forever to get cars and the text ahead option didn’t work at all The valet guys were also pretty rude and had bad attitudes They also didn’t really take care with the cars as drove them But other than that I would say it was a very good stay and I would stay again but do my own parking

We planned to celebrate with friends and decided to lodge here per a recommendation Our party of 6 (3 rooms) stayed three nights The valet team was kind, informative, and efficient

The checkin staff was thorough We had an issue with our room and the manager assisted us with a room change The rooms were clean, the penthouse level rooms offered spectacular views, and the hotel is quirky The lounge level bartender staff recognized us and greeted us, even when we were not stopping in for a drink Our only problem was that we were constantly being stopped and asked if we had reservations to access the rooftop Numerous individuals walked into the hotel, however; upon observation, we were the only group stopped when entering the side door or getting off the rooftop elevatorI recommend this hotel because it is a beautiful building In fact it’s the first fire containing/fire proof building in Richmond I hope that the staff’s keen awareness to minority groups was just a fluke

This hotel is adorable and perfectly named! So much pink it should be nauseating but it is not The decor is welcoming and refreshing and the rooms are nice Our king room was ready and clean when we arrived

The lobby bar has good hours There is a small gym on the lower levelValet parking only – $25 per night

Sarah JaQuay

It’s a quaint hotel It’s old school with some modern designs What I didn’t like about the hotel is that there are wood floors in the rooms as well as outside of the rooms and at night the noise from people walking in the halls sounded like they were walking inside of your room

The floor creaked and squeaked all night and it’s jarring to sleep thinking someone is walking in your room The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming I ordered food and wasn’t impressed at all It’s like when people try to do to much and ruin the entire meal It was just a salad that they ended up ruining It’s located in the perfect place A lot of restaurants surrounding that are in walking distance There is Valet parking The rooms are spacious Staff was very attentive The bed was comfortable

This is the second hotel stay I’ve had in the Richmond area (previously stayed at the graduate) and for the price, I must say this is the better pick It’s a quick drive into downtown Richmond, the immediate area did not feel threatening for two woman travelers and the hotel is well maintained and cleanIt is atrium style so I will say you can hear the lobby and bar area but honestly it wasn’t too loud as to be an issue

We got the two bedroom with the pullout and it was perfect for our situation The pullout was nothing fancy but I wouldn’t say it was uncomfortable by any means The bathroom is quite small but did not pose an issue to us Having a door between the two bedrooms was perfect for privacy and both rooms were quite largeThe lobby was great and even offered a nightly snack, we didn’t partake but I believe it was things like a vegetable and meat and cheese tray Contrary to other reviews there is definitely a bar, pictured belowMy only issue and one that definitely could have been avoided with a question on my part was the deposit being the same price as the the entire stay so you’re essentially having double your funds unavailable at once Not an issue for everyone but definitely something to ask about or keep in mindThe front desk staff was very friendly and helpful although the housekeeping staff did knock multiple times one morning when we had a do not disturb sign on the doorOverall I recommend this hotel and I would stay again next time I’m in town

Leslie Theodorakakos

First I would say the front desk staff was very nice…always smiled and greeted us The breakfast was also very nice We were in town for a graduation and it was Mother’s Day weekend, so the hotel was crowded and VERY noisy on Saturday night

We went to graduation on Sunday and when we returned, our room had not been cleaned When I called the front desk for towels and coffee on Monday morning I was told that, since the start of the pandemic, rooms have not been cleaned daily because staff shortages I understand, but there are no signs in the room letting guests know The rooms are comfortable but quite outdated No bottled water was provided and only shampoo and conditioner as far as toiletries were provided The bathrooms are extremely small For the price we paid, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel nor would I stay again

tideroll55

I read several reviews and decided to stay here to see how it was Overall experience was EXCELLENT I would definitely stay here again

Jason the guy who checked us in went above and beyond They even started up the two free drinks at 530pm Indoor pool was fantastic Continental Breakfast was AMAZING Even though its a fancy hotel, I think to go plates for breakfast would be great

We try to go to a local hotel twice a year to use the pool This was our first time at the brand new Fairfield Inn and Suites We are enjoying our first night here

We ate our fast food in the dining room which is bright and clean Looking forward to the free breakfast in the 🌅 morning The front desk people are friendly and efficient The room is spacious and clean We enjoyed the pool, the reason we are here

Amazing airport hotel that I would recommend to anyone in the areaI came to Richmond for the weekend and as a Hyatt loyalist I booked the Hyatt Place near the airport My return flight on American was cancelled so I had to quickly book something for the night

Having been unimpressed by the local Hyatt I decided to try this place and I am glad I did! This place is night and day better than the Hyatt Fresh feeling, modern, timely hotel shuttle not contracted out, great service particularly with the shuttle drivers and Michelle at the front deskThey also put out not hot breakfast items from as early as 4am for those who have early flightsVery close to the airport and they have a shuttle that runs from 4am to 12am on demand

Kamil

Hotel is newer, but stuff could be better I asked for adding new towels and cups for water to the gym Next day there weren’t there either

Swimming pool is nice, but small I found one bed bug on the bed Fortunately I didn’t bring any home (stayed there in March 2022), but why to take a risk Searched the whole room and bed under and over, however it was only one Cleanness of the room questionable For this price expected a little bit more I don’t think I would stay with Fairfield brand again It’s okay but definitely there are better choices around

Five Loaves Food Pantry

Not Child FriendlyPot Smoking at front door, in rooms and elevator reeked of it Mentioned it to staff and was told nothing they could do about it

at 7am someone opened door and was shocked to find us in the room First night of two night stay – we did not spend the second nightat 9am television comes on, while we were sleeping with some personalized screen – while we were trying to sleep inAlso, asked for functioning tub – that did not happen – stopper did not work and was unscrewed to drain tub for shower – and body soap dispenser did not work eitherRoom was clean, beds were comfortable, towels nice but nothing could make up for the negatives we experienced told the maid on way out we were leaving – and she seemed not to care

Corinne Finnan

We checked in late after an emergency landing from our flight, we had no car and it was too late to search for other hotels We felt safe with this being a Sheraton as we frequent with the chain We were completely shocked at our experience!! Our room was AWFUL!! Not at all what the pictures show! The room was pure white, ceiling had cracks and holes in it, the bathroom light switches were old , the entry room door was all broken at the bottom and we woke to a cockroach on the wall

The front desk told us the next morning that we would be discounted half the cost of the room That didn’t even happen! We spent $225 to stay in a dump with no compensation!!

Eli l

Made a reservation for Friday and informed I was coming early Saturday morning I was delayed a few hours and didn’t show up until mid afternoon Saturday to be told my reservation was canceled because of a “no show” I was also told Saturday morning at 2am and Saturday 3pm we’re considered two different days

I was informed someone would look into finding me a reservation at another location which didn’t happen Customer service was horrendous, the lady in the front with dreads and glasses needs training expeditiously Poor first impression, wouldn’t recommend…not even to an adversary Get it together In conclusion stop booking people online if you can’t accommodate them

A solid 45 stars Pros: the shower is absolutely amazing!! A rain shower waterhead with tremendous water pressure

The rooms have extra large windows for a great view The beds are super comfy and the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud Very clean hotel with complimentary shuttle and complimentary bottles water (total thumbs up on that) The true jewel at this hotel is the friendly and helpful staffCons: The a/c in my room did not work well, the bartender closed early one night and would not even allow me to get a couple of bottles of beer to go because he already settled his books for the night and parking is an additional feeOverall it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this hotel

Tracey Greene

I went here for a tax lien conference that they were having The hotel staff was exceptional When I asked for directions to where this conference was being held everyone was exceptionally friendly, and the attire of the staff very clean cut

I was very impressed with the hospitality that they showed me I had issues with the parking ticket I don’t go to hotels like this often so I ended up placing the ticket in the machine when I was supposed to just take the other ticket they gave me and scan it at the gate but anyway the young lady took care of everything and straightened it out for me I thank you for the great experience that you provided I just want to say each and every person that was at the desk was phenomenal And the doorman I really like him Very friendly individual Thank you all for the great experience maybe next time I can get a room and just kick back and relax

Gregory Clarke Money Mindset Academy

It has been a fine experience staying here for a couple of days during our running around Richmond The room is comfortable without feeling cramped The amenities offered are in line with some of the other brands with the Marriott family and the parking has been an added value to the stay

If you are a business traveler especially if you are doing business in the Downtown area of Richmond then the Delta Hotel should be an option for you

We had a wonderful time with our family Lovely rooms with lots of space to stretch out after a long day in the car We had a late lunch in the hotel restaurant and felt really safe in the large, well ventilated space

We had dinner in our room since it was a bit more crowded by then Though there are other places nearby to eat, the food in-house was excellent with several really good vegan options The staff was incredible, there was always someone to ask a question of, we requested extra linens and received them immediately The market by the front desk was also very convenient for last minute things When I went to load up the car before sunrise, there was security personnel in the lobby which made me feel safer about being outside alone in the dark Our only critique is that our room had a door to connect it to the adjacent room We heard some loud talking /laughing late at night It was very minor and it seems if you are close to the door your neighbor will hear you

Dr. Rosie Ann Riley

This is a must stay!! If I had more time I would have booked extra nights! The hotel is simply beautiful and the staff is super friendly I met and spoke with a manager (Mr Matt) , dishwasher (Mr

Tim) , clerk (Mr Phil) and server (Ms Brittney) all in 1 day and every last person was very kind and professionalI didn’t have opportunity to see pool or workout area but rest assured you will not be disappointed with your stay at this hotel It’s somewhat secluded BUT you are close to restaurants etcThey were having a wedding when I arrived As a titanium member I was able to go to club on 7th floor for cocktails ($5 each) and breakfast the next morningI highly recommend staying at this hotel!!! The photos online are an exact representation of what to expect!!!

Lamont Ross427

Did not rate the rooms because we have not stayed there But the 1st impression was wonderful, we went to see if we can see the place We are looking for a place to have our wedding reception, the Manager took time to show myself & wife the facility & he explained that he had his wedding there

Great 1st impression, so we are thinking about hosting our wedding reception there Really nice

I have stayed at the Linden Inn on previous business trips I much prefer the classic feel of the Inn as opposed to more corporate options The Inn has a charming and unique feel to it, and the rooms are dressed and decorated accordingly

The rooms themselves are huge in comparison to any hotel in which I have stayed My room had all the necessities – coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board – and was quite charming in appearance The hot water pressure (a personal pet peeve of mine) was excellentI had minimal interaction with the staff, but they were all very polite and helpful in terms of advice on parking and restaurantsThe Inn is located in a very pleasant neighborhood, and is in close proximity to everywhere I needed to beAll in all, a great experience, and one that I will repeat the next time I am in Richmond

Calvin Thumma

The staff was super friendly and very polite The hotel itself is super adorable It’s not as polished as newer hotels chains but the old building is very nice

The beds were comfortable, the restaurant down stairs was yummy The only thing holding this back from being 5 stars was the AC They tell you not to set the AC below 70 due to it freezing the system, so we had ours set to 71 The room never dropped below 77, the high outside for the day was 78 With the being said, we will definitely be back next time we’re in Richmond

Pat Machowski

First time in Richmond Even though we only stayed one night this is one of the best Hotel experiences I’ve ever had The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable

They are more than willing to go out of their way with whatever you need as soon as you check in I talk about atmosphere in my reviews a lot because I think it’s an important component to any location you visit, whether you’re staying the day or for the night Walking into the Linden has the feel and familiarity similar to your own homeI also wanted to mention a member of the staff who helped me out the night I stayed here I couldn’t get the vending machine to work and was about to give up when she called me over and handed me four of her own fizzy drinks, free of charge It might seem like a small gesture to some but was incredibly kind and totally unexpected Where I live things like this rarely ever happen, back up North The people here, and in general in Richmond, are really one of a kind I can’t wait to visit again someday Highly recommended Thanks for a great stay 👍 👍

Stayed here for 4 nights last weekend of June ’22 for a lacrosse tournament and a trip to Kings Dominion I can’t say enough about the front desk staff, super friendly and helpful The room/bathroom was clean and I would say updated, but I don’t know when it was built

So I will just say it was up to date It had a wall mounted 50 inch tv and the bathroom mirror was a nice touch Also, the location is great It’s close to everything you need because you forgot something, from sporting goods, grocery stores, restaurants and a very nice outdoor mall

Mark Stottlemyer

The only reason I am giving this hotel a two star review is because of the location, other than that it was an actual nightmare To start off our stay here, my family and I got stuck in the elevator with our friends When the elevator finally situated itself and let us out, a woman standing on the floor told us that it has gotten stuck multiple times that day

With that knowledge we went down to talk to the staff at the front door who did nothing about it No closing the elevator or telling guests that the elevator may trap you for a while Saturday afternoon we asked the front desk for towels for the pool We were told there was towels out there already, funny enough there was no towels (of course) So we go back in and ask for more and after having eyes rolled at us someone was sent out with hand towels for the pool My friend was swimming in the pool after all that and got a shard of metal stuck into his toe and the light for the pool came out of the wall and was floating next to the wall Let’s just say that was the end of our time in the pool This experience has made us rethink ever staying in a Holiday Inn again

Jessica Nelson

At this location: Front desk staff when I arrived was great Breakfast is the best of all the chains especially for vegetarians Love the pancake machine

The rooms look pretty new, nicely maintained Love the KeurigIHG: The only thing missing to make this my favorite and the superior chain is access to streaming programs from the TV like Netflix or Amazon

From the moment we walked into The Berkeley Hotel, we felt welcomed Alfreda greeted us so warmly, I felt like I was staying at a family members house The woman who helped us with checkout was also super nice, but I didn’t catch her name

The hotel definitely has a vintage feel, which my husband and I really enjoyed The room was clean and comfortable and had such a charm to it The location was fantastic We utilized a nearby parking deck and walked where we needed to go; there are a lot of cool places to visit on/near Cary Street We really enjoyed the vibe of The Berkley, and will definitely stay there again when in Richmond!

My boyfriend and I liked our stay here We arrived here on Tuesday and stayed for a night I have a service dog with me so the front desk lady got me a corner room which is quite spacious

The room is clean and neat Bathroom is huge The bedding was very comfortable too It’s nothing like a motel I was on a road-trip and definitely experienced what a motel is like This is way much better than a motel… Berkeley may be a bit old but is totally comfortable The location is good too Many restaurants close by We had no issue finding street parking here during our stay

Laurie

My husband and I stay in Richmond 2 or 3 times a year Just stayed in the Berkeley Hotel for the first time We will definitely be back

The woman at the front desk was helpful and courteous We were allowed a very early check in with no problemsThe location is great – close to restaurants and shops Within walking distance of the riverThe room was clean and the shower had plenty of water pressureSome of the fixtures were slightly worn, so I did not rate the hotel as 5 out of 5, but that would not prevent me from booking this hotel again

The common areas of the Omni Richmond are lush and peaceful The room was comfortable and clean We were on the side of the hotel overlooking the highway and enjoyed the view of the river, the trains, and the area surrounding the city

It was nice during the day and stunning at night The location is great Be aware that the parking deck is not associated with the hotel itself, so if you self park is is essentially at least $25 per day vs $30 per day plus tax and tips to valet park If you want to go out expect to pay about $5 per exit in addition to the $25 you’ll pay overnightIf we are back in Richmond, this will be the place we went to stay

My father stayed here for 7 months on business in my teens and I stayed with him for long periods of time so got to know the workers They are amazing, terrific, perfect especially Stewart he is amazing the best of the best The setup great valet expensive but they are very nice

I’m staying here now again with friends and insisted to come here and so glad I did The restaurant, Starbucks is great and if you are nice at check in they give tickets for free drinks at Starbucks or at the bar It’s a nice location to walk or drive around The restaurant is great and there is a amazing chef and very nice aesthetic There is a Wells Fargo bank across from that Next to the restaurant there’s a store that sells smoothies and açaí bowls All of that it’s amazing love it second home There is also great gym pool etc

Very nice front desk staff and lobby felt clean The hallways do smell like smoke a bit, but rooms are smoke-free The rooms themselves felt a bit dated

The first floor is ground floor, so expect that there may be some dead bugs around windowsills We did find a spider on our ceiling, but “they kill other bugs”Very small fitness room, but at least there was one! Great mirror wall and water dispenser there with clean towels The location is good as long as you have a car It’s near shopping plazas and retail food chains but not walkableOverall a good stay, but you kind of get what you pay for

So so pleased with this hotel! Stayed for one night while passing through town with a toddler and a dog The hotel was clean and updated, the staff were extremely friendly, the room was quiet and had a balcony so I could easily see my car, and the pool/courtyard space was especially lovely It was in a nice part of town and I felt very safe

Will definitely stay again when in Richmond!

They have a nice small commons area, complete with a bar that serves breakfast and a light dinner Rooms are small but adequate, I liked the pull out desk and sliding door to a small patio From what I could determine, there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby but during meal times they do sell Starbucks

I am not a fan of the surrounding area but it was easy to get on and off the road making it a quick drive to a restaurant or to the Interstate Service was friendly and the room/area was clean

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here The staff was always friendly The manager was visible, accessible and always friendly

They’re in the middle of renovations and we had a chance to stay in one of the renovated roomsThe rooms are nice and cozy They feel like a home away from home I’d recommend them to anyone looking to stay in the area and we would for sure stay there again if ever we were in the area

My first experience with Candlewood Suites in Sandston, VA was horrible for the time that we entered the room until we left The room was booked through IHG, as I am a silver elite member since 2014 We contacted the hotel for an early check in and were told our room was ready

We arrived at around 1:30 – 2:00pm and there was no issues with check in Unfortunately, when we entered the room we noticed the bathroom was flooded and the smoke detector was there but the wires were visible, so we informed the front desk of the matter They immediately moved us to another room down the hall closer to the front desk That was okay with us until we noticed there was no iron in the room so we took the iron from the original room Then we noticed the remote control didn’t work so we went to the front desk for new batteries which they supplied We also noticed the bolt lock on door was broken, but before we can inform the front desk of the matter the unthinkable happened As I was changing for our event that we travelled 6 hours for, another guest entered our room and saw me without any clothes on I felt violated and was very upset I contacted IHG several times to inform them of the experience and they reached out to the hotel The hotel general manager, Maureen was not compassionate of the incident and just said it was a mix up She was the one who did the change and should have known better She tried to insinuate with IHG, we put the shower on and flooded the bathroom I explained to her that I didn’t want to stay there and wanted to be accommodated in some kind of way After going back and forth and allowing the IHG representative to listen to the conversation and reach out to Maureen she agreed to give me one night free and arrange for us to stay at another comparable hotel Well she set that up but once we went to check in the representative at the Holiday Inn Express couldn’t locate the reservation because Maureen never transferred anything in my name So I had to reach out to her once again to get our reservation cleared up The General Manager, Maureen should not be in that position She is a good greeter but do not know how to handle customer matters My most upsetting moment was when a perfect stranger walked in my room with his dog and saw me undressed You would think she would have been apologetic, but no she just kept saying things happen So I am not sure if I’ll ever stay at another Candlewood Suites due to this “HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE”Something need to be done about how that particular hotel is run

I reserved this suite hotel using points It’s very near the airport and convenient to the eastern side of Richmond and one of the few options between Richmond and Williamsburg Upon arrival I noticed the lobby area hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while

The entrance doors and windows were filthy There was debris (leaves and dirt) on the floor The door to the office space was open and very cluttered We arrived early along with another guest and we had to wait for a room I asked for a queen or king room and was told I definitely couldn’t get a king room and they were oversold on queen rooms It was obvious there wasn’t going to be any effort to fulfill my request I was informed that I would get a room with two single beds because it was a “points reservation” I noted that the reservation doesn’t indicate what “suite” rooms are available I said that I didn’t even know suite rooms came with singles It was then explained that all their rooms were suite rooms but were just regular rooms with a kitchen and not really suite type I was then told to turn on the ice maker when I got to my room because they don’t have ice makers on the floors I was also told there was no breakfast at the hotel So I get to the room and pleasently surprised to find the room is very clean compared to the lobby I also find the ice maker is already on but there is no ice nor did it produce any during our stay The beds were comfortable even though me and my wife were in different beds My big complaint came during the night A few times I woke up from loud talking and noises I’m a heavy sleeper and these events were loud enough to wake us It seemed like there was some kind of gathering or party going on at 2am outside and then the nose again woke me at 5am this time from inside Bottom line is I think this location needs better management I would not recommend staying here

Staff is amazingly kind The main room is a great size, plenty of space Bathroom is a great size and shower is very large

Bathroom has rusted toilet paper holder and door(see pics) The shower head has mineral and lime buildup(see pic) And there’s a strange stain on the front of the sink wood(see pic)No continental breakfast option but that’s normal for a Bonvoy, however there’s a restaurant serving breakfast from 0630-1030The beds have a nice selection of pillows and the comforter/sheets are good quality There’s a nice shelf with bottled water right at the entrance (can’t miss it) And to my surprise the remote control is inside a plastic bag (see pic) with a card stating all the surfaces they clean that most people wouldn’t think of(see pic)The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but they’re not individually portioned, they’re in a dispenser, which I find to be unsanitary and open to having anyone put any chemical they want inside the containers(see pic) so id suggest bringing your own The shower head comes out like a tsunami and doesn’t adjust pressure l, only pattern; if you have kids this will be a problem as it is very powerful and may be painful for them to useOverall, this hotel is comfortable, the bedrooms are is clean, and reasonably priced for what is provided They could benefit from polishing the metal surfaces, fixing the rusted door in this room, ensuring the front of the bathroom cabinet is wiped down, changing the shower head or at least cleaning it, and returning to the individual dispensers

This was the midpoint to my destination Staff was friendly & rooms were very clean First time bringing my dog to a hotel

It was nice to see other dogs there and how pet friendly it was You would never know that dogs were in the buildingDefinitely would revisit this location

Langley

The sink and shower were both awful The toilet made very loud clanks whenever you sat on it or moved an inch Horrible water pressure, women at the front desk were cold bordering on rude

Our second night the room next to us was very loud I called guest services and they said they would handle itThe partiers were loud until 2am When I asked the next morning they said I would have had to call several times because the first one is only a warningThey should have told me that on the phone If they say they are handling it why on earth would I push the issue They said something was being doneWhen I complained (politely) woman at the front desk was very rude and dismissive and accused me of getting loud which was definitely not trueThe bar was pretty nice though

Horrible check in experience and hotel quality was average Checked in online 24 hours ahead on app for 2pm arrival because we were hoping to be ready for formal event at 4pm nearby Room was not ready for another two hours

Front desk staff just ignored us and did not have decency to even come by with updates on our room Lobby was clean and up to date but room suite was old Carpet had stains and bathroom was old and not updated to standards of most Bonvoy Marriott properties I only stayed here for proximity to our venue Will not likely stay again

Cody – (CODYNHOU)

I lived at the Residence Inn Marriott Shockoe Bottom for 26days on a Business Trip This property is about location and proximity to the nightlife and restaurants in the Shockoe area of Richmond It is not about amenities, quiet peaceful sleep, ease of parking, or value

The Check-in was smooth and very friendly Staff is almost always excellent, attentive and kind They make a solid effort to project a professional and upscale demeanor There is no Free Breakfast, No Pool, No Free Parking and the only Value-Added amenities I could find are the Gym and the wonderfully appointed lobby Breakfast is the new standard for Marriott Bonvoy, Quick serve meals behind a Starbucks logo Nothing special and nothing to look forward to A bit overpriced but not obscenely so The Bar is always well stocked, and Gary is an amazing bartender He can almost make you any drink you can think of and do it while maintaining an entertaining conversation I enjoyed knowing Gary would be attending Bar I’m not big on the clubs or excessively loud college bars that surround the hotel There is excellent food nearby, The Tobacco Company Restaurant is High End and perfect for a business dinner Whereas Bottoms Up Pizza is great for just enjoying the unique Sourdough Pizza crust and chatting with colleagues or friends There is everything in between all within walking distance The rooms are average for an extended stay hotel You have everything you need and not much extra I loved the size of the room, and the floorplan is well thought out However, I kept wanting a Kitchen Table and an Oven I couldn’t bake anything during my stay, and it really limits your in-room food options You will notice in large empty space in the kitchen where a table should be yet there isn’t one You will quickly discover that the couch isn’t very comfortable However, in contrast the mattress is perfect, and the pillows are supportive yet soft My room had an amazing view of the clocktower, the large picture windows were a delight in the early mornings I appreciated the view from my room and recommend you request the same if you’re here for a while Overall, the hotel is great for a few days of business travel if you enjoy going out on the town or do not require very low noise volumes to sleep If you never find yourself seeking value added amenities or never use the pool you won’t find much wrong here I wouldn’t recommend more than a week or so here, however I wish Marriott Valued a more varied breakfast at this location and would consider slightly more comfortable room furnishings along with a small oven

Not sure what i liked more, the place, the room or the stuffSuch a nice place to stayGot there for one night, the front desk lady was super helpful and placed us in a high floor room with amazing city view

The valet service is super efficient and help us get things from the car three timesAt the bar, the bartender was very creative, but also managed to serve us with a refreshing and on spot old fashionAll their recommendations were just on pointThe room, actually, suit we got was so nice, from the spacious living room, the extra nice bedroom with city views, the shower was so nice and welcomingThe stay was just a pleasure

Mark was the nicest and most attentive valet there is Jessica was always checking in to see if I was in need of anything The rest of the staff that I did not catch their names were extremely warm and friendly Top notch service and amenities, will definitely be staying here again when I am back in town for business

Brenda Jackson

Awesome experience Staff was great at all levels but valet parking attendants were even greater Rooms are fantastic, large spacious and up to date

Excellent location and safe to walk and run Elevators are small but everything else makes up for it Not convenient to public transportation but only a short walk or drive to restaurants, quaint shops and the convention center Loved it
