I never write reviews and I also only stay in boutique hotels, but my company requires me to stay in this particular hotel due to proximity to my office Having said that, I have to say it is always a 5 star experience staying here The front desk people are polite, courteous and super helpful

The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable They have a wonderful little store in the lobby that is well stocked, tiddy and clean, and has everything a business traveler might have forgotten or needs I’ve always had a very positive experience when staying here and would highly recommend it

The digital key worked some of the time They deactivated the digital key well before check out time The pool was open 1 out of 2 days and hot tub was out both days we stayed

It was not posted on the site or app The room was nice but the ac worked slightly The bathroom door was damaged and not fixed The hotel is close to the restaurants and activities which is nice It was definitely not worth the price or what I expect from a Hilton brand

Worst hotel experience ever! Based on the reviews, I requested a room away from the freeway but on arrival at 2PM, was told that only the freeway side was available We were given a shabby room (clogged sink and shower diverter not working) with a noisy old air conditioner that would not shut off when the room cooled down I was awake until 3AM with the loud freeway noise and loud air conditioner

There was no manager available to get help from, and the check-in clerk told me to call Marriott myself if I wasn’t satisfied Even Monday morning after 9 the manager wasn’t in, and I left a written message requesting a call-back but two days later, still no callI was finally able to get a room on the quiet side the second night and it was a remarkable difference! This establishment is really “two hotels” in one Away from the freeway, the rooms are nicer and allow you to sleep But even if you request it when making the reservation, the hotel does not honor that request Their website is useless in this regard

Steve Williams

The rooms were fine, but my biggest complaint here was the staff They just weren’t friendly, accommodating or service oriented As a Marriott lifetime platinum member I have never stayed at a hotel which was so dismissive of the status I’ve spent years working to earn

When I was checking in, there was a guest ahead of me who was older and having trouble logging into the internet The kind thing to do would have been to help the guest to logon – instead she just rattled off the things the woman should do and rolled her eyes when the woman walked away forgetting the bath wash she had gotten for herI had a few other interactions with the front desk and none were remarkable The one which led to this review was the hotels’s refusal to honor Marriotts “guaranteed 4pm late checkout” for platinum guests First the front desk colleague told me that it only applied to guests of a higher status I said that’s not what the Marriott website says She then said, well it’s subject to availability and we are sold out I then said no you aren’t I can book at least 3 rooms on Marriottcom right now She finally agreed to give me a 2 pm checkout as a special accommodation but couldn’t honor the “guaranteed 4pm checkout”Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for elite Marriott members, there are other far more accommodating Marriott hotels that will take better care of you

Shelly Wright

We rented two rooms, on a 90+ degree day in June BOTH rooms had air conditioning that did NOT work, leading to a sleepless night by allI called the desk in the middle of the night and the representative told me to PROP OPEN the door to the hallway to let the air from the hallway come inside the room! I reported this both locally and with Marriott to no compensation except to say “that is not the expectation of a Marriott stay”! Very poor customer service from a business that touts their customer service!

Do not recommend Our first room smelled of cigarettes and curry Our second room smelled of fried shrimp and wet dog

The damaged furniture is sadly appointed The bathtub was dirty I’m redeeming it from one star, because the carpets in the rooms weren’t disgusting and the linens seemed clean And the front desk person, Marvin, was kind and helpfulWe’re well beyond pandemic-level restrictions, yet the breakfast room had no hot food—not even a toaster for your bagel that came in a plastic container in a paper bag The “hot water” was cold They only had Coffee Mate for the coffeeThe trash cans around the property were overflowing and had trash set next to themThis is the saddest Residence Inn I’ve ever stayed in

aab81077

When checking into my room it was dusty and found plastic bags on the floor The water was still running in the bathroom, ice maker not working, and toilet keeps running This property is lacking normal maintenance and appears to reactive to issue and not proactive to taking care of the property

When requesting for room cleaning services you are required to provided 24 hour notice, when I requested service I was told there was no room on the schedule and have to wait until the following weekThe provided breakfast has been gas station style food The grab and go bags consisted of two frozen biscuits, and prepacked hard boil eggs When breakfast is provided expect for the breakfast burrito to be a frozen beef burrito For the price this hotel has been a disappointment

Jerry’s Adventures

This place is very clean and the rooms are like studio apartments They are spacious and have full kitchens with stove & refrigerator A chimney and sliding door also

It’s very cozy and feels like home I loved it The price is very good for what you get However I do think the deposit is STEEP $250 DEPOSIT is more than I’ve ever paid for deposit You get it put back on your card in a few days

SIX MONTHS I gave this hotel in advance to get it right I had booked a hotel for 2 guests, my treat to stay at this location for a concert at Shoreline While booking the hotel I asked what was needed so my guests would have zero costs accrued to them checking in or out

I was told to send back a form authorizing all charges as well as my ID and front and back of credit card to 1 Hold the room 2 Hold for incidentals 3 Charge the room upon check out Easy enough right? I guess not I checked in with this hotel THREE TIMES in order to ask if they needed anything else from me I kept being assured it was fine Well what would you know my guests were charged the $220 upon checkout which is double upsetting because they never should have been asked for a card in the first place How embarrassing when you are attempting to host a couple for a weekend out I am fuming mad, the hotel also looks great in the pictures and is barely hanging on to budget motel status in person I would give zero stars if I could

Sarah Yearian

The room was clean and beautiful The grounds are beautiful We had a king bed that was more of a queen

It is a Murphy bed The walls are extremely thin You can hear every noise upstairs and next-door Also if you’re on the first floor by the lobby you hear every one coming and going This is a solid place to stay if you are not a light sleeper Also their key maker wasn’t working so evey time we entered they had to open our door

Jason Matsumoto

It’s a decent little hotel, but the photos and marketing are a bit misleading, in my opinion It tries to sell itself as an upscale, boutique hotel with the website and photos showing the admittedly very nice grounds and common areas However, the actual rooms are not that nice, you can hear everything through the thin walls, and one of the 3 staff we interacted with wasn’t all that friendly (though the other two were extremely friendly and professional)

On the plus side, there’s a nice trail directly adjacent to the property, they have bikes that can be borrowed, and the prices are good We still checked out after the first night due to the noise

Marissa

This hotel definitely took my breath away I stayed here recently, and was really impressed When you’re first walking up, the way the light hang across the front “patio” is absolutely adorable

When I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed by the front desk attendant that was very nice When I got to my room, I was surprised at how big the room was, and I’m a Hilton honor member, so the TV greeted me with, “Welcome, Marissa” Looking out the window, I could see the outside lounge area and immediately was WOW’d because they have it decorated with string lights and fire pits Of course I had to enjoy that little setup, and one of the staff members lit the fire pit just for us I sat outside for a little drink (but note that you can’t be out there with alcohol past 8pm) Went back up to my room and the shower is a pretty good size!! I dislike stand in showers where I feel like I’m standing in a vertical rectangular box There’s a lot of detailing that went into this hotel, and I greatly appreciate it The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the walls are paper thin We could hear EVERYONE in the hallway the next morning But I still would come back!!

Janet FOster

Had to prepay for 2 nights minimum and would not honor a military discount Rooms well appointed, but had to wait in hallway while housekeeping finished preparing our room at 5 pm Had to pay for breakfast, which was basically a sparse continental breakfast

Was not informed of that until after we prepared a plate You’re paying for the location, not the amenities or service All in all, nice hotel but experience does not match the price point

Alex Araiza

This was a little getaway for my wife and I We loved every minute in this charming hidden oasis and surely can’t wait to return to enjoy another wonderful sanctuary stay The hotel is clean, inside and out, pet friendly, located in a prime location near a lot of delightful restaurants, wineries, shops, historic parks and a relaxing creek

The staff is very attentive and caring, Ghaza checked us in, she made us feel at home with her amazing personality, her professionalism and attention to detail has made us a guest for life! The rooms are picturesque and chic, the whole vibe is pretty amazing as you sit in the balcony to the sound of the soothing Saratoga creek! Unfortunately we had to leave early and cut our stay short but we shall return and look forward to continuing where we left off Thank you all for your genuine hospitality!!

Great area with lots of food options Entrance from street is kind of hidden We missed it and had to go around

FREE parking in the garage Garage has or 4 level, so plenty We felt safe Clean room Bed and pillows were super comfortable! Only complaint is the TV It had no signal half of the time we were there Staffs were nice Elevators are super fast No more than 2 min wait time Will stay again

Ashley Sisneros

Front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and kind Easy check in and out, and lovely rooms Splurge for the king suite with bath if you can, its worth it!! Hotel is clean, parking is easy

I forgot a blanket in my room while checking out, they were prompt in having someone go up to the room and bring it to me within 2 minutesAs a bay area/San Jose native who comes back to visit now, this has been my favorite hotel stay by far Thanks Juniper!

Daniel Varela

As a regular Hilton customer I have seen usually really great service and care to detailHowever this hotel needs a little help

I’ve always been offered a couple bottles of water beyond my first night I was reminded that water is only available the first day Strike 1 Strike 2 the restaurant downstairs has crumbs on the dinning tables and the coffee saucer doesn’t look like it’s seen a bit of soap The seating outside looks nice I’ve asked if the heater could be turned on, I was responded with “I don’t know” A little bit of extra care can go a long way Sometimes the little things can go a long way

I think most guests of this hotel might be Apple visitors because it’s very close to Apple Park So am I, actually I tried to book Residence Inn Cupertino which is located a block away but if I tried to book over 2 days the rate soared up so I stayed only two days there and moved to this hotel I know these two hotels belong to the same hotel chain and there is a price difference, but comparing to Residence Inn, this hotel was so disappointing

After coming back on the end of day 1, I noticed the room was not cleaned I knew their policy is cleaning not every day so I understood the situation and went to the front desk and asked to clean on the next day and he said yesOn the next day, I came back to the room and saw the room was not cleaned yet, I went to the front desk again My actual complaint is not due to not cleaning the room When I went to the front desk, the guy was processing the check in with a lady which seemed a new guest I waited there for 10 min and had to watch them to chat I know they need to be kind to all guests but I’m pretty sure the check-in process was done soon but they were laughing and chatting endlessly even he was aware of me waiting there Finally the chat was over and he said, the room issue was not his fault and he surely asked the cleaners so it’s their fault That’s fine, how can I find it’s who’s fault but again, more annoying thing was disregarding the guest waiting there and just did whatever check-in process for a long time until he wanted to finishIn addition to that, overall quality is also super much better at Residence Inn, so don’t stay here and go to RI instead

Sam Kellman

I drove up the pacific coast highway, very long day, called at 12:15am and waited on hold for 45 minutes to be told I could schedule for that same night Before putting the reservation in I wanted to confirm with my brother so I asked if there were plenty of rooms and I could call my brother then just show up without a reservation They said fine, there are plenty of rooms for the night

I show up at the hotel 45 minutes later to be told you CAN’T book for the same night after midnight That the system automatically makes it the next night so there was no way to let me stay ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You can’t let someone stay in an OPEN room after midnight if it wasn’t booked before midnight? It’s absolutely shocking that I was both turned away and was also completely mislead on the phone I drove out of my way, and had to figure out my alternative options even later Their system is beyond flawed and the miscommunication was exceptionally damaging Called Hilton and didn’t have to wait on hold at all, and they’re letting me book after midnight This experience was categorically appalling I don’t blame the front desk, she was doing what Marriott tells her to do, but Marriott is dropping the ball big time Absurd Just absurd It’s the middle of the night, I’m exhausted, in the parking lot of the hotel I was all but certain I was welcome at Back to the road Thanks Marriott!

K Flo

Nice place, the rooms with the kitchenettes are pretty great and have a homey feel The beds are not super comfortable and the parking (garage, shared with the shopping center) is a bit inconvenient, but not enough to be a problem Complimentary coffee and breakfast is always nice

There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance Oh and I will mention one thing that threw me off at first: maybe it was just the day or time I was checking in (Sunday at around 5pm) but I had to ring the intercom to go through the main lobby doors, the doors were not open Just a heads up!

I stayed at this hotel with my bf for 1 week The hotel is new, clean and the staff is very friendly, specially MARIA at the restaurant, she’s a sweetheart and her food is amazing! She treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for getting aroundThe only downside I’d say is the first room we had on the 1st floor in front of the pool was too noisy but when they switched us to the 2nd floor was great!!I’d definitely stay again here and I recommend it!

Crystal was so helpful, engaging and had such great energy that we actually stayed a second night The beds and amenities were EXCELLENT!!! A very satisfying selection of breakfast options from the eats all the to the option for juices Also the breakfast area had places to mingle and watch the morning news or what have you

OH YEAH, OUR NEXT VISIT WE ARE USING THE UNBELIEVABLY BLUE POOL!!! LOL A GREAT STAY ALL THE WAY! Thanks Crystal

The elevator makes a lot of noises at 4th floor (not sure it’s the AC or the elevator itself) Room cleaning knocks door at 8am? I’m pretty sure I asked for afternoon cleaning when I checked-in online In-room AC unit also is very loud

Pre-pandemic free coffee in the morning and afternoon happy hours are all gone Understandable but sadGood parts: decent shower, large and nice bed, lots of plugs for gadgetsThings can improve:* Elevators need TLC* Free bottled water for the room* Room cleaning hours, I’d suggest 10a to 5p* Better quality soap/shampoo, maybe disposable shavers* Indoor AC unit needs TLC* Indoor TV unit can use TLC Channels are so bad, maybe consider using YouTube instead?

This was my first time staying here and over all its a nice hotel Once I got in I was greeted by the friendly receptionist I got to the hotel a little early that day and was able to check in a earlier than the check in time

This really was helpful for me seeing that I got to my destination hours than what I expected During my stay I was always greeted by the staff in the from Also the cleaning staff are super helpful and really friendly I did lock myself out of my room one time and was helped by the front desk Only one thing that the door to my room would get stuck at times and would not let me in But this was not that big of a problem for me Once I checked out I told the front desk and they took care of the issue of having someone checking out that very moment I will be staying again Thank again for the great service

Corey Strock

My stay was fine I paid ahead of time so the cost was good This facility did have some issues though, and was not as nice as the Sacramento one that I regularly stay in

The location is really good, it’s near a few restaurants and it’s only a 1 mile walk to the downtown sectionMy primary issue was that my door didn’t close w/o a fair amount of force being applied, that was annoying The room itself was fine though, it was clean and well appointed

Susan Johnston

This property is in need of quite a bit of maintenance and a thorough cleaning Use the inexpensive nightly rate to set your expectation The staff is trying to provide good service, so shout out to the friendly front desk folks

Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to outweigh the challenges at the property Upon arrival I was put in a first floor room which was not in good shape There was visible grime on doors and light switches and a sticky spot on the wall next to dining table which had hair stuck on it The next morning I asked to switch and was moved to a large suite on 4th floor This was definitely nicer Issues included the room being very dark (cave-like, despite having windows), a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and neighboring guest’s garbage sitting outside room doors awaiting collection which lingered and smelled Due to Covid restrictions there was no housekeeping nor breakfast The gym is virtually unusable; broken treadmill, broken recumbent bike, an empty stand for hand weights (were they stolen?), a pulley/weights set up with pieces missing, no mats and no towels Next time I’m in the area I will spend a bit more and definitely stay somewhere else!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here The breakfast was outstanding and changed everyday The hotel staff were always friendly and attentive

We had an issue with a shower drain that was resolved within hours and while we were out somewhere on the coast This hotel was very relaxing and really offered a great location for us to do just about anything we wanted Definitely will be booking here again in the future

The hotel lobby was beautiful I was shocked at how fancy this hotel was as soon as I came in the door The room did not disappoint at all

There was a big bath tub and everything was so clean The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious Highly recommend this hotel The free breakfast option was great too Plus you had the option to use it for a free cocktail between 5-6pm That was a first!

This is an update to my earlier reviews We are wrapping up an 8 day stay in one of the “villas,” which are the Grand Hotel’s premium rooms They are located in two story building behind the main hotel

Initially we were placed in a first floor villa room That room was disappointing There were some minor maintenance issues but the biggest problem was noise from the room above oursWe brought the problem to the attention of the front desk staff They were very responsive, particularly Mona, who is wonderful They offered to allow us to move to a second floor villa room, which we did The second floor room is completely quiet and there are no maintenance issues We are delighted with our new roomThe hotel is older and they may still be catching top on some deferred maintenance from the Covid slowdown, however, the gardens are attractive, the breakfast is upscale compared to most chain hotels (with multiple hot options each morning) and the complimentary afternoon beer and wine is a nice touchWe would stay here again but we would request a second floor villa room or, for a shorter stay, a room in the main hotel

First off the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the pool area has a great BBQ station It is an older hotel and the mattress is a little to firm but for a short stay it’s not bad It is a little hard to get into the parking lot from the expressway because of all the construction going on in the area

All and all a nice hotel!

Elizabeth

Room was recently redone, which was nice, but smelled musty/like animals Toilet had a slow leak and refilled periodically in the middle of the night, waking me up Bed wasn’t that comfortable, very firm

Breakfast buffet was meager and they are NOT offering the evening reception that most Residence Inns have I will not be going back

Staff was very friendly and helpfulThe amenities are nice, with a well equipped gymThe area was quiet and the room was comfortable

Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

This hotel is a hidden gem in the downtown area of Saratoga for a very reasonable price Staff is small but all are pleasant and everything is in walking distance for food or necessities This hotel offers toiletries and breakfast from 7 to 10 in the morning

There is a vending machine that is very cheap with good selections and the room itself is comfortable, spacious and cozy Not to mention quiet all around and haven’t encountered someone trying to disturb this established peace This is my second visit here and would continue to return for they have earned my business and trust

I’ve stayed here a number of times for short trips of a few days, since it’s right next to my company’s main office space I’ve had pleasant stays every time I have visited The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the pricing is reasonable, and the building and guest parking is secure

The complimentary breakfast included is usually far above average hotel breakfast standards, and the breakfast buffet area and seating is always spotless clean The coffee provided in the lobby is surprisingly good too This is not fancy digs, but it is dependable and well managed I haven’t used many of the other amenities, but I know I will be back soon on my next trip to the office

The stay was excellent because of the staff I had to take an extremely early call and didn’t want to wake my family I was sitting in the freezing cold courtyard and a staff member offered to let me use the meeting room

Also the Manager William was so incredibly accommodating I had to book a large group for a high school team Hence why I was there He was so helpful throughout the entire process Five star service through and through The staff even made breakfast a bit earlier so the team could eat Very nice people!!!

rhonda robers

I’d like to acknowledge the staff member named William His service was superior! He went above and beyond for us to get us accommodations for our stays while our son was going through stem cell transplants in Stanford hospital nearby He was very empathetic towards our situation and was very helpful

The beds were comfortable The location was great Close to the airport and just a short drive to Stanford hospital The building and parking lot was secure And overall we felt safe The rooms were very clean and the free breakfast was spectacular! We will be sure to return to stay here in the next few months as our son goes through treatments I highly recommend this hotel

Booked a week long stay here for work and upon check in was completely taken for surprise The hotels “renovations” consist of new wall paper and new really cheap and tacky furniture The rooms are really icky and you can tell they just slapped paint over everything

The staff was incredibly accommodating and wonderful and the location is very convenient, hence the 2 starsHopefully once all of the renovations are fully complete things will start to look up

Disappointed Had high hopes from website Depressing

Lobby felt very empty and lacked proper amount of furniture for comfortable space Restaurant was completely closed Room had closet door off track and lamp shade was broken Patio was filled up with tables for event Sadly no extra area set up for hotel guests to use outside So don’t anticipate too much

This hotel is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in We are currently here for a wedding and they shut off water on the entire hotel the day of the wedding Our room has no heat as well and blows cold air out the entire time

The front desk has done nothing to make anything right My boyfriend works for a property management company and these are conditions his company would put people up in a hotel for Do yourself a favor and stay away from here

My husband traveled for work and tagged myself and our 8 yr old daughter along Perfect location while he was at work, there was great places to shop and even a huge Asian Supermarket across the street! So I got to cook dinner when he got off so he had a home cooked meal The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need even with a blender and rice cooker! My daughter’s favorite was the pool and I even grilled fish on their propane grill and staff asked if I needed grill seasonings, it’s provided if needed, no extra charge! Love! The staff overall was extra attentive from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! I noticed the ladies constantly sanitizing and cleaning throughout the day, because I was here all day, I noticed everything

This was an amazing staff and friendly and delivered exceptional customer service! We stayed for 4 days and will again for future trips in this area! Highly recommend and they exceed 5 stars!

Staff was helpful and available 24 hours Studio room was quite comfortable and I liked the layout Plenty of closet and drawer space

The shower had great water pressure and the toiletries were just right Very clean the bathroom shined Also liked that the TV was on a swivel and could be viewed while on the couch or in bed The couch was stiff but liked the ottoman and the tray cover for placing your dinner or drink while sitting on the couchPersonally, I prefer reserving a place with a complimentary breakfast There was a good variety of both hot and cold food Not an overabundance of choices but quite sufficient Very pleased Service at the breakfast was good

Grant Irons

Room was clean, but kind of felt like a dorm room Breakfast was okay (fried eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, etc), I was surprised by the coffee, much better than most hotel coffee

On the negative side, the internet was TERRIBLE! I was supposed to deliver a presentation to 500+ people, but internet was so bad I couldn’t do it The staff was apologetic and said they are working to upgrade internet hardware Won’t stay there again

My wife and I booked the Hotel Los Gatos for two nights because of a medical procedure she had performed in the area of Los Gatos Although there was nothing remotely romantic about the trip, the hotel exceeded our expectations for the luxurious accommodations we received upon our arrival I booked the hotel through hotels

com and the price was ridiculously cheap for the number of amenities included for the cost Our room was spacious; comfortable; beautifully furnished and could have been the most extravagant hotel room we have ever stayed in, to be honest with you The pool and jacuzzi were out of this world and very well maintained Downtown Los Gatos is aesthetically what a small California town should look like, and the Hotel is located in the middle of everything I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to experience Los Gatos or if you are planning a romantic getaway for two My wife and I are definitely going to return for a romantic weekend for two to enjoy the luxury we skipped out on during our last visit Thank you for a great stay!

Hotel was awesome! Wish we could have stayed longer Dog friendly

but policy isn’t posted online Pool was nice but smallonce you have several kidsit’s kinda not worth being inVery beautiful building and groundswalkable to downtownparking is TIGHTfellow guest hit my car with their doorthanks a lotWould def come back for longer

The location of the hotel is great and the property itself exudes excellence and a sense of luxuryThe staff were amazing and parking was decent I really enjoyed the pool area, but it’s smaller than the pictures depict online

The room was nice and it had a balcony, but there was ongoing water issues during my stay that interfered with my stay-cation On one day of my stay, the water was out from 1000-1645! On another day, the water pressure dropped so low when I was all soapy in the shower that it took a full 10 mins to rinse offAt the end of my stay, I saw that I was billed an extra $25 each day of my stayHundreds of dollars a night, water issues, and extra fees left me with a sour taste
