Checked in 4-30-22, mid day Tiffany at the front desk was niceWhile checking in I noticed the rate wasn’t what my confirmation said

The hotel charged me almost twice what the rate was and no could explain it and said the manager would be there in the morning when we checked out, that never happened I have no words that can describe the disgust I felt in my stomach when we went into our room and pulled the sheets down to see thus See pictures Human hairs, blood on bedding, urine stains Never in all of my travels have I experienced such blatant laziness of it’s employees, and managementNever would I stay at this location, should have their franchise status revoked

I left a few incredibly important items at the hotel and they found them and mailed them back to me I cannot thank the staff enough for helping to return one of my most prized possessionsAlso, the hotel room was lovely, and the attached steakhouse gave us an amazing meal!

I highly recommend anyone visiting Cleveland to stay here! From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed and taken care of These people understand Customer Service In a world that has forgotten what that is, Tudor Arms Hotel is a wonderful reminder on how it can be done right! From the front desk to the shuttle driver, restaurant workers, cleaning service – all were very kind and went out of their way to be of service to us

I was there with my daughter who was having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic This place was so accommodating, kind and helpful to us Their rooms were clean, big and very comfortable Their restaurant was good in both food and service I want to give a huge shout out to Alyssa from the front desk who was so helpful and very intuitive in all that she does Every hotel should have an Alyssa!! We have follow-up appointments at the clinic and there is no doubt in our mind where we will be staying

Christa K

Lovely, interesting, and beautiful! I am truly enjoying Hilton’s Tapestry collection and this one did not disappoint! Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful Rooms were very clean and well put together My only complaint, which is minimal is that we had a corner room and one of our windows did not have a heave drape so in the morning sunlight was hitting us directly in the face

Lynn Gehrke

I love staying in historic hotels – meaning buildings with a history They have an ambiance that newly built hotels do not have Tudor Arms was no disappointment! Restoration to the building was done keeping a lot of the old ambiance alive

The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean and the price was reasonable for the amenities provided

In general, very disappointed This HI is primarily here for the Cleveland Clinic patients So they have the frills and some of the basics trimmed down

The positives first All staff including the CC personnel were quite helpful and friendly The location plus the great shuttle services provided by CC were excellentThe negatives next Their front desk was under-staffed and slow both checking in & out There is a $19 fee for parking daily The room was OK We needed to request additional pillows There were no additional blankets or covers in the room My wife was quite chilly because the bedding was lite sheets and topper The bath room had two hand towels, two wash clothes, two bath towels That was it They provided the smallest, tiny bar of soap to wash with There was no bath mat for safely getting out of shower Despite the fact that most people staying here are older and having health issues, there were NO Grab Bars in the bathroom nor in the large shower stall Quite a safety concern Could not believe the hotel would not have Safety Bars to help us move about safely when a majority of clients were olderFor the first trip to CC, it was convenient but next trip we’ll be staying some were else

Elliot Director

I mean listen I never stayed here but I definitely accidentally used their valet service, took two masks from the front desk, and was almost to the elevator before I realized it was a hotel and not the children’s hospital where I was bringing my child Guy at the front desk didn’t bat an eyelash and instead just helpfully redirected me to the shuttle service

Upsides: clean lobby, nice staff, close to things, breakfast smelled good?Downsides: the credit card reader was down and they couldn’t make change so it was a bit of a wait to payFinal upside: but they ended up just letting us head out since they couldn’t take payments rather than make us wait very long Super appreciated!

Brook Sibary

The service was awesome and the rooms were clean! Also all of the bar staff are AMAZING!! I never caught any names of these folks but they were absolutely awesomeOnly complaint is that the window of our room was dirty with smudges from some adult activities (you could 100% see the exact body parts that were pushed against the window in the heat of the moment) I am electing not to take a star away because it made us laugh so much and everything else was great

Wanted to take time to point out how great our stay was this last weekend at Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland University Circle/Medical Center When it comes running a hospitality business it is all about the people They are what make the experience and the staff at this location are outstanding

Even though I knew they were shorthanded you would never tell by their hustle It was a perfect weekend with the staff making sure we had everything we needed I especially want to call out a couple ladies at the front desk April and Jennifer Also a BIG GREAT JOB to our housekeeping staff Dominique for being on the top of her game The property itself is clean and modern and perfectly located in the heart of Cleveland Medical and Case University district

Elizabeth Rose

As someone who has been traveling to Cleveland to visit the clinic for over a decade now, I can say hands down this is the best place to stay when you are in town It is incredibly convenient to walk to the clinic, then when you have a break, head back to your room for a break From the front desk who helped book the Cleveland clinic room rate with ease, to the bar tender who helps you forget your problems of the day – you feel like you are headed home when you are away from home

There are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance so again, you don’t need to drive anywhere The rooms were so clean, I literally could not find 1 issue with them Plenty of channels and great space to get some work done or relax in comfort Thank you to everyone here to making patients feel like a relaxing getaway trip

Erica Spoto

We stayed at this hotel for a few days starting on 03/25/22 We splurged on a vacation in Ohio (5 hour drive) from where we live to specifically stay at this hotel as it was local to the zoo and aquarium we wanted to visit and also because it had a POOL

we have a younger child who was really looking forward to using it as were we considering it’s winter I called a few days ahead to indeed make sure it was up and running and they told me it was I saw past recent reviews complaining about the pool We get there and it was up and runningbut we’re told the water was very cold because the heater was broken We tried to go in and it was like opening a pool after the Winter impossible to swim in! I would have not booked this hotel if we were told about this! I can say the rooms were very home like and probably one of my favorites I’ve ever stayed in The garbage however was full from the last occupants who stayed in the room under the kitchen sink The beds and sheets were extremely clean which I greatly appreciated! The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom not so much I don’t think the bathroom floor has been cleaned in a looooonngg time The staff however was extremely friendly and truly cared about their guests

I’m spending a couple of days here First impressions were great It is easily located off of the interstate in a quiet area

My room is quiet and comfortable There are some scuffs on the wall and a stain or two on the carpet but that is to be expected The important stuff is spotless Bed is comfy, sheets smell and look fresh, bathroom is spotless as well at the kitchen area The lady working the front desk tonight is excellent and friendly If I’m back in the area I will absolutely be staying here again They also offer a discount for nurses and first responders too which was an excellent surprise 95/10!

DemonOfD20

Probably one of the better places i stayed during my vacation! Rooms are incredible, love the addition of stoves and appliances for the rooms (i made good use of those during my one night in the stay) The room was incredibly clean when we got there Honestly, this would’ve been a good hotel to stay in for a couple days even

Wish i couldve stayed longer

I have stayed here twice, the staff is top notch, the rooms are very clean, and the walk in showers are great This trip I enjoyed a corner king suite, and I was living like a rock star The location is perfect for professional sports, pub crawling, our going to the casino

It’s just off the lake, at the river, and there is also a beautiful national park a short drive away I hope to return to enjoy the area some more

Cincinnati Julz

I enjoyed my stay here Nice rooms offering ample space & large bathroom Stay was friendly and accommodating

Best part was I could bring my furry dogs I will stay here again I think the only negative were linens were lacking i found a few holes in towels and sheets They also did not smell really clean but I find that at most hotels The smell of fresh linens is wonderful but these smelled like they have been sitting in a closet for months after being cleaned I think their laundry service company could do better 😉

Berky 1118

The service was superb and I would give more stars than 5 if I couldAfter an entire day of traveling, delays on all 3 legs of my trip, arriving to the hotel around 3 am, I was greeted by a wonderful man who quickly got me checked in I only had about 2 1/2 hours to sleep and the room was clean and inviting and I zonked out in minutes

I felt comfortable on entry Then I left to go to the Cleveland Clinic with a ride over there by the happiest, nicest man I WILL definitely stay there again!

Allen Reinecke

Conveniently situated around the corner from the hospital, with a shuttle bus service at your beck-and-call, which will take you to the hospital and back, or to restaurants within 2 miles, except on SundaysVery friendly and helpful staff, who are well used to recovering patients and their needsValet parking works seamlessly via a text message system, but is pricey at $21 per day (mid-2022)

Shame the pool is gone to enlarge the gym! 😢Breakfast is a small on-site Starbucks cafe and not free, but there’s a real Starbucks next door and several fast food and restaurant businesses within easy walking distance for lunch and dinnerBeautiful area with parks and museums

Picked this hotel for location near Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and for that it was perfect Nice staff Room was spacious and mostly comfortable

Good coffee, fridge and microwave which I used I was a bit shocked when I had my glasses on and was able to see some serious scum in the area of the handrail in the tub I did not notice this right away as I had no need for the handrail and generally don’t shower with my glasses Thus the omitted starThe restaurant was convenient for breakfast but buffets are not my preference You can self park at the property’s lot for 25 a night

Ariel Boyd

I stayed here with my boyfriend, brother, and our friend We booked the room so we could all drink in the flats and just Uber back Upon first arriving at this hotel the last at the front desk was super friendly and kind

She wished me a happy birthday and thanked me for being a honors member She was very welcoming and I don’t think I’ve ever really came across someone so kind working front desk! Just with the interaction i had with her She put a smile on my face I would highly recommend this hotel to other people and I’ll definitely be staying again sometime Other than the service here the cleanliness of the room and when your first walk in is all very clean and nice The beds are super comfy, we had booked a room with two queen beds

Amberly S

My bestie and I took a trip to Cleveland last weekend and stayed here! She was spot on, it was so much fun Also a special shout out to the shuttle driver we had, Carl, super nice guy and a joy to chat with on our ride Highly recommended this hotel to anyone, great experience and great people

I ave high standards for Hampton Inn, but they did not disappoint The bar had great breakfast to order like a restaurant You had to pay, but it was nothing compared to other chains

The room was very clean and neat They had a computer in the lobby with a printer, and a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants The front desk and breakfast servers went above and beyond I really enjoyed my stay here

Rebecca Kosierowski

We came up for a surgery and stayed here for one night We had a king suite, which was quite roomy and comfortable, clean and nice The bed was quite comfortable, the right balance of firm and soft (despite our preference at home for a very firm futon directly on the hardwood)

It was quiet, and the staff were all polite We thought about swimming in the pool, but the cloud of chlorine in the air when we opened the door to it was off-putting, so we went for a drive to Lake Erie (choosing Euclid Park over Edgewater Park since we didn’t have to drive right through Cleveland traffic to get there) and enjoyed a meal in the shade by the water instead The breakfast spread had a large variety of items, and they really only lost a star for the eggs being the tasteless powdered variety and the sausage with so little seasoning and flavor that I actually wondered if they were meatless (if so, people should be told on the placard because we don’t eat soy products)

Alex Scullion

Hotel front desk staff gave my coworkers and I a hard time when checking in and checking out They almost didn’t let us check in even though our employer had paid and we had email confirmations printed out Our names were also listed as the guests on the reservations

If you’re planning on booking rooms for business, you might want to reconsiderOther than the service, the hotel is OK The best thing about this hotel is the location!!! Within walking distance of great shops and restaurants I’m not sure I would want to stay at this particular hotel again, but the location was great

Hello everybody it’s me again, coming to you live about my experience with the aloft hotels Marriott I have to say again I am never disappointed when I stay at the aloft hotel Beachwood Ohio!Let me tell you why, I had a red eye flight this morning coming into Ohio for weekend business Now, I am a morning person but I was a little tired this morning because my alarm system went off four times last night at my home all the way up to the last alarm sounding at 3:26 AM this morning and I had to be at the airport by 6 AM

So I touchdown on time early this morning and I’m like I can’t wait until check in i am tired and I would like to take a little nap before I start my day I arrive at the aloft in Beachwood Ohio and I’m greeted by Andrew with the most beautiful smile and by the way he had a beautiful salmon colored top he looked so handsome and neat He says hello I say hi, I apologize for coming in so early today but is there anyway I can get an early check in He replied, absolutely we have a room waiting just for you, now that’s a quote! He said not only will I check you in early and since you’re so tired I’m going to upgrade your room at no charge to you I said, wow, thank you! And he mention by the way if you need any water or any refreshments you can have it here and he continued to take me around to the business center and things like that just a refamiliarize me with the schematics of this hotel Again I say thank you So I gather my things and head upstairs to my room and open the door to the most beautiful room and seating suite attached! I’m not gonna bother you guys with all the little details in the rooms and the seating area but I just want you to know that I’m so very grateful for the outstanding customer service I always receive when I come stay here! Thank you Andrew I’ll see you again on my next trip

Kamil

I really like this hotel, always staying there when going to Cleveland It’s nice, clean and with really good breakfast from Menu (order well done if You like fries cook better) The room is small, but enough for overnight stay or even few days, especially for the price

The stuff friendly and helpful Infused water offer at the lobby They also have some arcade games, console, pool, and bar I recommend this hotel especially in this price Perfect for a business trip or quick visit in Cleveland!

Deidre White

I came here for a sleep study through my doctor, but the hotel is nice The room was well decorated and OMG, the bed! That was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! It’s a very modern style, which isn’t my thing, but it was done well The shower was nice, good pressure

I didn’t like that the sink was out in the open, but it was tucked away from view of the bed, so there’s still some privacy when using it There’s a nice fridge and safe in the room, too I was facing a busy street, but couldn’t hear anything, so the windows were great, but I could hear some noise from the hallway, so that wasn’t great

I would give no star if it were possibleIt appears you changed management from October 2020 to February 2021The first thing I noticed that had changed, was the fact that you now charge for valet parking, without any options for opting out and parking your car yourself

Which means you are also charging for parking, if someone plans to park at the hotel You need to make that known to people before they book with youIf that weren’t enough, you charge for valet parking each night someone decides to stayI stayed two nights and was charged $39 for each nightYou fail to mention that on your siteI drove in from Columbus after booking two nights in advanceSo I had no choice but have you charge me $78, in addition to me original booking feeThe second thing is that there were no available carts to unload my personal items from my carThis put the valet in a bad position, by having him leave my car parked in front of the hotel along with three other cars, who I assume we’re also needing carts, while my girlfriend and I checked each floor, 7 total for any available carts, which we didn’t findThe way we finally were able to get a cart, was when I hotel guest had come into the lobby with a cart that she had stashed in her room, until friends of hers arrived with their belongings It seems she’s stayed there recently or was told how hard the carts were to come byThe other issue was the fact that I specifically requested room 705 upon booking, and was told it was available for the time we requested and would have itInstead I was given room 605Finally what does it take to have your cleaning crew report broken items to your in house maintenance staff Our toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, with only one plastic anchor keeping it from completely falling to the floorIn short, I’ll never stay at your hotel again, and will advise others not too as wellExtremely Dissatisfied

Very nice hotel overall The good – The bed was comfotable The shower was awesome

The bar tender on duty was awesome! He gladly accommodated us and many others when we showed up 10 mins before closing! The not so great- the couch in the room didn’t look clean Check in was at 3, we arrived after 4, and the room was not ready until an hour later They gave us a voucher for breakfast for the trouble The breakfast buffet was average The french toast was cold the beacon ran out I had to wait the staff seemed to out sync the bus boy appeared to be the only working

Stayed at the Residence Inn from 7/25 – 7/28 while on our trip to Cleveland Due to a flight delay we arrived at the hotel around midnight My husband immediately started to get his clothes ready for an early meeting when he noticed stains on the iron

I called the front desk and this wonderful lady working the night shift brought us a new iron in the middle of the night This is literally the definition of above and beyond when it comes to service in my book The room itself was spacious and clean The breakfast had a good variety of items that ranged from scrambled eggs, warm sandwiches, fruit, pastry to cereal The only thing that would’ve made our stay better are extended breakfast times, 9 am seems to be a bit early as a cut off time for breakfast for people in vacation But all in all we had a wonderful stay!

Janice Price

Pros: Every staff member was so friendly and helpful The breakfast was always stocked and adequategreat location

CONS: dirty room, stained, peeling walls Loud people running all hours of the night Front desk said they can’t do anything There’s only like two luggage carts around and they are never available so we had to make like 15 trips up and down with the slow elevator Will not be staying again

I was there in Ohio for surgery I had to stay 10 days to recover and have my post op appointment The hotel itself has great staff! Great if your coming for a few days

Nice pool area However as far a comfort to recover from a surgery, no place to be comfortable Beds are hard couches are dated and are pull out beds that you can feel No place to sit and rest I was told I would have to rent a chair from Rent a Center Would not recommend to recover for long periods of time Other then that the staff is great

The InterContintal Suites Hotel of Cleveland, on Euclid Ave is a great place to stay To start your stay off the valet parking staff meet you at your car If you have a lot of luggage the doorman will assist you to your room

Then when you come in to front desk for your check-in At the front counter is there to truly help you in a difficult time and sometimes first stay to be seen at the Cleveland Clinic Once in the room they are very spacious whether it be, 2 full size beds or a king size room Rooms are very clean If you would have an issue call the front desk My second stay our air conditioner broke at about 11 pm It was no one’s faulty I called the front desk then apologized and moved us down the hall for 2 more nights Yes it was an inconvenience but they took care of us and made it right The 3rd stay, I had a question on how to handle having a mid-morning appointment, and not wanting to check out till after my appointment Joshua Taylor, Front Desk Manager this evening, he took great care of me and was able to get me a later check out I greatly appreciate all of the pleasant friendly staff members that work here Please note: They ask you to please where a mask in the public areas It is for your safety but many to protect patients like myself from getting any sicker and not being able to beat any respiratory issuesVery close walking to main entrance if you so choose (10 minutes) or the Cleveland Clinic has shuttles that will pick you up at the front door of the hotel Please allow 20-30 minutes for a ride to your closest entrance for your appointment No need to have your car while here The C2 restaurant has awesome food, and great staff Please don’t forget to tip your valet parking staff and the doorman if you use them

When I saw how close it was to Cleveland clinic I was worried about hearing ambulances all night long, but i didn’t Everyone was friendly, from valet to front desk to the house keeping we ran into on our way out Our bed was crisp and clean, as was the rest of the room

We felt welcome and safe staying here, and next time I want to stay at a suite I know exactly where to go

Mostly a good experience Room was very comfortable Bed was most comfortable I had ever had at any hotel

Very convenient for visiting my family member at Cleveland Clinic Arrived late at night Tried to order room service Made numerous attempts to contact room service Kept getting the run around Asked for a menu Was told they would bring one right up Never saw it Staff (Josh) at front desk was superb Got us a menu for a pizza place He even stayed late to make sure we got our order Took the hotel shuttle to the clinic twice One experience was good The other was horrible The woman who was running the shuttle was incredibly rude

Booked 5 Nights First night they did not have our room available and they booked us a hotel next door Second Night, room not exactly as pictured online

Linens not supplied in room for pull out Had to request Linens and pillow covers and go to front desk Trash under cushions Thin walls so we heard the loud neighbors until 3am Highway noise also apparent We requested towels and none delivered We then requested room-cleaning and towels nothing Shirtless guest in breakfast room, Employees smoking at front door and talking on phone, etc The room interior was pretty nice, but the service was not With the poor service, thin walls, and partying guests, it makes me think this is more of a nicer version of motel 6 with a kitchen added Not worth it in the end there are better options

The hotel was clean and updated The employees were kind and helpful I appreciate virtual check-in, keycard and room status

The room was spacious for the price, but rather small for a suiteBreakfast was included and had gluten-free options including several omelets, eggs, and gritsI was disappointed that even though I included a note when booking an accessible room that I am a wheelcbair user, I was given a non-accesible room

My sweater was stolen! I accidentally left my sweater in the closet I am POSITIVE I left it there When I contacted Customer Service I was advised that if their staff finds any left property they would place in lost and found

Well obv NOT! The sweater was a nice and I guess someone liked it Dishonesty disgusts me Hilton advised me that I have no recourse Shame on you Hilton!

The location is good and the views are probably better from the front side of the hotel My room looked over the courtyard which proved to be incredibly noisy because they had weddings the weekend of my stay I imagine on the street side is pretty noisy on the weekends as well being that it’s in a party district

Also if you stay on the third floor, be forewarned that there is a gym on this floor (does not belong to the hotel) Was woken up by the sounds of weights being thrown around early in the morning Not a lot of space to hang clothes We had some food catered by the hotel for business meetings Breakfast was unremarkable and the lunch was downright terrible The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean

Dale at the Front Desk always makes my stay here all the better, he goes above and beyond, making sure our stay is smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable! He always engages with his hotel guests, and ensures their stay is to their liking… I’m always happy to see Dale at the desk when I arrive to check in! Thank you all at Desk; the House and suite keepers too, they do a pretty good job too at keeping the room tidy🙏🏾

The location is a 5, with lots of restaurant and night life options, and it’s really cool that the fitness center is essentially a Cleveland Browns NFL work out center, but several other elements of our stay missed the mark Some examples are that the room was not ready even at 4pm, the safe did not work until maintenance came up, no hair dryer, nothing to stir the in room coffee and cream, and the Friday late arrive and Sunday early departure triggered a 3 day parking fee for $35/night That seem odd since we were not even there for 48 hours

The nice front door staff adjusted that error but I would have hoped that I would not have to ask for the adjustment So, overall, some real positives but the things to give it 5 stars were just not thereVictorB

Stayed overnight for my birthday The location is near everything Clean hotel and room

Housekeeping staff were friendly Front desk staff left much to be desired, no welcome for our tier status The bar area at night looked like fun Hotel smells amazing according to my pregnant wifeNo microwave thoughRoom had a safe, mini fridge, iron and board

Erika Madvid

Pros: they approved early check in for us which was great because we had 6 hours in-between two events that day They were able to provide extra towels They gave us a room on the 3rd floor

Rates were good for the one night stayCons: Really all structural issues: not a really convenient entry to the hotel have to park in the garage across the street and walk to the entrance and take the elevator or stairs just to get to the lobby The entrance did smell of cigarettes and marijuana at all points of the day its not really monitored by staff or security until the evening The lobby was nice very open, seating areas for the tv and barNow the sound/noise issue is UNREAL!!!! You can hear every little sound from the people above you, every door slam shut, walking up and down the hallways Its due to the laminate flooring in the rooms It was all hours of the day and mostly through the night we even had a sound machine that we use for our son and i still heard everythingnow with the cleanliness of the room it was clean except for the floors in the room i think they might have only vacuumed the floors and not mopped because when you get out of the shower and walk in the room your feet are already filthy

So the only reason I even gave 2 stars versus 0 stars is because of the great location and the potential of the actual building This was our second stay at this hotel in the past two months At first, I wasn’t going to write a review because I thought the bad experience the first time was a one off, but after this second stay I realize it is the trend for this hotel

How do you check-in at a different time on two different stays and the SAME team member is just hanging out there? This second visit, it was multiple people hanging out at the front desk We were never properly greeted and apparently my husband and I were an inconvenience by breaking up their hangout session in order to check in The lady who checked us in never even looked at us once during the check-in process, never mentioned breakfast or anything that was helpful But again I guess we did interrupt her from hanging with her friends AT WORK Fast forward to the room each stay the room looks like it was just used and not cleaned with much effort Especially in the current health and safety climate, I would expect at least half an effort for the room to appear clean But clearly based on the way the front desk staff and other staff members who make the front desk their hang out spot, we should’ve known to have low expectations for anything else in the hotel Although I’m always about having a good time, in the evening, the lobby/bar area turns into a club with a bit too much rowdiness If you’re in to that, you will have fun No one was even at the desk later in the evening (they may have been partying at the bar with other non hotel guests who were using the front driveway as their personal parking lot), or even when we were ready to check-out the next morning Thank goodness we could check-out on the Marriott Bonvoy app We will not be staying here again until there is staff re-training or staffing changes
