We stayed almost a week in this hotel We had a two room apartment-like room with mini kitchen It was spacious, clean, and comfortable

The hotel is clean, the service is polite and helpful The breakfast is included The gym is available, however, it has no barbels, only one machine for weightlifting and several thread mills and bicycles The pool is outside, quite large, but for some reason it was closed One can do laundry in the hotel, which was very convenient – fast and for a decent price The location of the hotel is good: nearby is a large shopping center with a food court, there is a bus stop, and a park in the surroundings, however, to the downtown it is quite some distanceOverall, I am very satisfied with my stay However, I have a few remarks regarding the breakfast The breakfast is overall fine – the selection is sufficient to find what you like, you can even make your own waffles But most of the server things are either salty or sweet, would be nice to get some vegetables Also, during the breakfast, all the silverware, cups and plates are paper/plastic; similarly, some food also comes packed in plastic, like, cheese, honey, jams As a result, you produce a lot of garbage each breakfast 🙁 I wish this could be handled in a better way

So I’m giving it 2 stars I got a king size suite The room was perfect

No complaints on that part But for the amount of money I spent on the room I feel if there wasn’t going to be access to the pool or breakfast served an email should have been sent out I go to that hotel because I know the rooms are great and the breakfast is always amazing Not happy about the fact that I wasn’t told about the inconvenience

Jordan T

Better than a 2 star but not by much I was happy to get a king room, but this place is full of problems and projects The pool has been out of service since before COVID

The property is right next to the highway and you can hear it in your room The dilapidated old restaurant next door doesn’t help with the look of the hotel It was a Ghost town when I pulled up The breakfast was fine, good yogurt and waffles The property overall is sloppy and dirty It needs a renovation I thought being a Radisson meant higher quality

The entire purpose of this review is solely to make the staff more aware and allow for a better experience for everyone I think when the disappointment of our trip wears off, we would likely stay here againThe hotel is currently undergoing some renovations

This did not directly impact our stay as it was mainly cosmetic and did not cause any disruptionWe booked and stayed 4 nights and 5 days On the first night, the fire alarms when off at 2am which if you have never encountered before, are so loud that you cannot hear your own voice Evacuated 4 young kids to outside where it was roughly 17 degrees We were allowed back to our rooms about 25 minutes later although no real apology or explanation from the staff Only told to go back to our rooms and that it was a problem with their system Our kids were scared to death for the remainder of our stay each nightThe hot breakfast that everyone ranted and raved about on other reviews was sub par It consisted of cereal, fruit, oatmeal and if you would like, they will warm you up a Jimmy Dean frozen biscuit sandwich This was probably the biggest disappointment as we had to go find breakfast elsewhere each morningThere were some issues with the room such as practically no toilet paper in either bathroom and 2 tissues in total I had to track down a staff member on the second night after calls to the front desk went unanswered and no one there when I walked down The gentleman I stopped in the hallway was very nice and provided me several rolls of toilet paper and 2 boxes of tissuesTwo towels per bathroom for a 2 bedroom hotel room fit to accommodate 6-8 peopleThere were also closet doors that are borderline impossible to open and close, lamps without lightbulbs, faucets that the cold and hot were reversed among a few cosmetic issues however, I assume those will be corrected through the renovationsThere were a few maintenance team members who were very rude and during daytime hours, shout at you “no parking” somewhere specific while you were parking if it was going to interfere with their work however, there was zero way for a guest to know that we would be in their way and these spots were not blocked off, coned off, roped off or anything to suggest you shouldn’t park there I saw this happen to several guests, not just myselfA few positives-The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us and our 6 kids which would normally have given us enough space had we not had the kids scared from the fire alarm on the first night (They all wanted to be crammed in the same room with mom and dad after that)The indoor pool was immaculate, warm and we all enjoyed it on several occasionsThere was an outdoor courtyard that provided a basketball court and outdoor grillsThe beds were pretty comfortable although I believe they are all being upgraded to new ones or some may already have beenEvery member of the staff, minus the 1 maintenance guy were extremely nice and kind and seemed to actually want to be helpful which was niceIt was conveniently located and easy to get places for food, activities etcYou can tell that the upgrades, when complete, will be nice and that the hotel will be a really nice place to stayUltimately, I think that all of these things are items that the hotel can work on to improve

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel If I ever need to come back to the York area I will be staying here again hands down The rates were reasonable, the staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, the amenities offered were all open for use and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly amazing! Thanks to the staff here that made my stay desirable!

Lahna Jonesy

The room was very spacious and clean! The only thing was there were some dirty socks on the floor behind the door when we walked in but I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt The bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living room areas were all immaculate though Everything was wiped down and smelled great

We had an amazing time! I’ll definitely be going back!

Sharadin was the young lady that helped us The power at our house went out in Westminster so we decided to get a hotel for the night since it was still out We both my boyfriend and I just got off work he works outside all day and I’m in and outside so we were exhausted from the heat

She recommended some places local to eat and was extremely helpful Would highly recommend!!

Room was clean and beds were comfortable Faint smell that seems like once, long ago, this place used to allow smoking but now doesn’t AC worked great (which is great because it was humid, muggy, and very warm) and everything was clean

One outlet near the sink didn’t work so we plugged the coffee maker into the other outlet No big deal Breakfast was pretty good though the juices appeared to be mis-labeled There was waffles, bagels, sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereal, though I would recommend the coffee that’s available in your roomA lot of reviews have had to do with some of the longer-term residents who are staying at this hotel These reviews generally seem to come from folks who aren’t comfortable being around a diverse population There were a number of families here, many kids were laughing and playing in the pool These are all folks just going through their day and doing the best that they can We met up with some of the residents in the breakfast area in the morning and they were very friendly, very nice people who seem to genuinely be looking out for each other and caring about making their place niceI would certainly return, especially for the price point Some beautiful houses in York, PA

Abida Rodriguez

This is unbelievable I came in my room and it was filthy I have pictures to prove it, the ceiling in the bathroom is fully of dirt and yellow stains, the tv is full of dry drops or stains, the mirrors were not clean, the wall is so dirty with stains on it and the bathroom door was so bad

It looked untouchable with the amount of stains as if they did not clean it at all I got in the shower and the water wasn’t draining down!!I didn’t even ask for a refund because I looked at the reviews and seen people didn’t get a refund But, I definitely have pictures I really thought by the name “Quality Inn & Suites” was actually great quality or even good! But, it was just horrible!! I do not recommend this place at all, outside looks appealing but inside was definitely not worth it, unless u in a position like me that needed a last minute place to sleep in I hope the founder of this place reads this and do some changes because people work hard for their money and it really upsetting to pay money for this kind of treatmentI will definitely not stay here ever again, and I can clearly see the owner apologizing for months and months but still not doing anything bout it So, clearly I will not get my money back or anything Please do not come back to this hotel, I really believe you can fall sick

Liesl Kapfhammer

Was looking for somewhere less expensive since we would be checking in around midnight and checking out before 7am The receptionist at the desk was very friendly, but that’s really the only positive thing I can say about this place It certainly wasn’t worth the $130 we spent to get showers there and try to sleep on the tiny, hard beds and pathetic pillows

Seriously, the pillows had almost no filling left in them I had to roll my hoodie up under the pillow just to try and sleepThe facility itself was dingy and needed some TLC, not to mention a good scrub down in several places Also, we didn’t receive enough towels for the number of people registered to our room and there was a 1/2 used bottle of shampoo in the shower along with an open, used bar of soap, so I don’t feel the cleaning staff do a very thorough jobHalf the outlets built into the room lamps didn’t work, so we couldn’t even charge all our devices overnight The hot breakfast was all packaged items, which was very disappointing and I was told was the result of pandemic safety protocol People need to move past the extreme safety precautions and realize that most people have been immunized against Covid and are ready to enjoy life againHonestly, I’d expect this experience at a $75/night motel, but having to shell out $130 for it was unreal Next time I’ll just splurge and go to the nice hotels for $200/night so I can at least have a restful night and good breakfast the next day

We chose the Courtyard York/ TownPlace Suites for our May 2022 wedding room blocks, and could not have been happier with the service and experience Their Wedding Specialist Kati is absolutely fantastic, and took care of the room block, coordinating shuttle times, and making sure all our out of town guests were attended to throughout their stay Our suite was spacious and clean, and she went the extra mile to make sure we received the best deal and most points for our time there

If you’re getting married in or around York, PA, these two hotels and their coordinator Kati are the folks to book with

DO NOT stay here My family and I attempted to stay here We had a room with a pull out couch bed

The pull out bed did not open because it was too large for the space and hit the AC unit I called the front desk to see if I could be switched to a different room and apparently the hotel was booked up I asked for a refund since I could not fit my family in the room The person working the front desk said that was fine and apologized profusely for the inconvenience We litterlly walked in the room for 5 min, tried to open the bed, and then requested a refund She said multiple people have complained about the beds She also said it may be a couple of weeks for the refund and she would give me some additional point for the inconvenience Skip ahead a couple of weeks, i notice i have not been refunded yet and call the front desk The attendant at the front desk says that there is no record of this occurring so he will need to discuss with the manager and call me back the later in the day Never calls back I call again the next day and talk to the same guy He says that the manager has not gotten a chance to review this and will call later that day Never calls back I call AGAIN the next day Same guy answers and says the manager is out for the weekend He says again that there is no record of me supposedly getting a refund and that we stayed the night, insinuating that i am lying I filed a complaint with the corporate office for a refund but have not heard back from them either

I traveled with my husband and small dog on a work trip he was assigned in York and we enjoyed our 12 night stay at the Towneplace Suites Our room appeared to be recently renovated, and I think renovations are ongoing We were on the 4th floor and heard no construction

We were on the same side of the building as a truck yard and that could be loud at times All staff I interacted with at the hotel was very friendly and helpful I locked myself out of my room one day and had assistance getting another key, they spoiled our little dog with treats, and the housekeepers were nice and prompt with any request We would stay here again

Just a great hotel! The entire staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming! The complimentary breakfast had everything you need in the morning and was refilled permanently The room service is just perfect – overall the entire hotel is extremely clean! A great place to stay! Location is perfect – far enough outside downtown to get around the traffic but close enough to be within 5 min in downtown York if you want to go out Several restaurants are directly around

Any time again! Great place

This is a great hotel with very new accommodations, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff The rooms were spacious, well lit, and fairly clean I was directing a tour group, and I found the sales staff to be very accommodating and easy to work with in booking a room block

The only slight qualm I had is that there isn’t any space to park a large bus in the hotel’s parking lot, but we figured that out quite easily

My family and I stayed Easter weekend and every time we entered and left the hotel we were greeted by pleasant smiles and attentive service Our rooms were clean Honestly, every single person who worked at this hotel made us feel welcome

The management must care about their employees because the work environment was something that made me reflect on what makes an effective business model–employees who feel valued make others feel the same Thank you!

We stay here several times a year while visiting family in the surrounding area Good price and location Easy on/off from the Interstate (I-83)

Plenty of places to eat and a grocery store close for those extended stays Continental breakfast has good options Some things need updating (carpet, wallpaper, etc) But updating is happening (new temperature control recently installed) Overall good value for the money

Check in was smooth and easy The room was as advertised and the bed was very comfortable The bathroom was slightly outdated but that’s ok

The true star of the experience was the young man Philip at the counter who took the time to get to know my partner and I at check in We were there for the night to stay closer to my surgical center for my surgery the next day Philip noticed my crutches and went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable He called us after we had checked in to make sure the room was comfortable He also let us know when we came back from dinner that he had refreshed the coffee in the lobby area and was so cordial and kindThank you for a wonderful stay Philip Much appreciated

What a dump We came for a soccer tournament and stayed three nights Biggest problem was the comforters all had disgusting stains on them (blood/urine)

I mean ALL We asked for a clean one and were told they were all stained Rooms are dirty and carpets are a mess of stains Hallways are not air conditioned and falling apart Our toilet didn’t work, so we had to switch rooms New room was just as bad One of the elevators was permanently out of service Plenty of other broken things Pretty sure there were people living there as well One side of the hotel is just all noise from highwayWould have given 1 star but the evening front desk guy was awesome Didn’t catch his name though There are plenty of better, similarly priced hotels right in that area Please avoid this one

Artemis Charmed

I had a pleasant interaction with both gentlemen who work nightTeam & level of service recieved was extremely better than the surrounding hotelsA few noticeable things that affected the stay is that the hotel and rooms are dated and in need of maintenance and a new look

The layout of the parking lot could be better and offer more parking

Maurice took my phone call when I was on the road trying to figure out where I was going to stay for this business trip, right away, the customer service was outstanding America needs more people like him… His work ethic, customer service, and general kindness reminds me of better times As a business owner, I would trust this man with my brand, which says more than anything else I can write

Nice, clean, quiet hotel It presents in person as it does online Easy check in/ out

Good water pressure for the shower, didn’t hear my neighbors come and go Area felt safeThe main road to it was closed and it was a pain to find the way in, at 10p at night However, once I called the front desk, it was easily resolvedI ranked it so high because it was exactly what it said it was, and no surprises I’d stay againNice pool area The spa was closed, but I didn’t care about that

This is NOT a 3 star hotel!! We only stayed one night and I was so disappointed with this hotel Room was just okay but not given more than 1 shampoo/conditioner bottle The drawer to our dresser was broken and kept opening up

Stained pillowcase We went to use the pool and it was so steaming hot that it was impossible to stay in there Pool water was also too warm No towels in the pool area either We told the front desk about the towels and they told us we are supposed to use our room towels Obviously not true, because there is a rack dedicated to towels in the pool area We also mentioned the pool area being way too hot They told us we can open the windows We opened the windows are were met with the most DISGUSTING dead rotten fish smell ever!! It was so bad it made me want to gag Not sure where it was coming from, but something or someone died outside the back of the building!! Unfortunately we had to keep the windows open and deal with the horrible smell because it cooled the swimming area down a bit But that smell was unbelievable, even people who came in after us asked what that terrible nasty smell was It took over the whole pool!! Next morning we had the free breakfast It was just okay They ran out of a lot of stuff by 7 am! And only one waffle machine…food was subpar All of this for $138 a night!! I feel cheated Next time we will stay at the Hampton Inn Never have any issues there!!

Housekeepers pleasant, tried to keep rooms clean But the rooms smell like mildew, I’ve stayed in 2 different rooms here Female manager/owner VERY RUDE

I stayed here several nights, and the day I was checking out she came to tell me I was walking my dog in the wrong area The same area I had walked her the entire time I tried to oblige and move to the area she told me which was GRAVEL, but my dog did her business I cleaned it up, as always and the lady was snarling her nose and telling me she can’t do that here! She proceeded to follow me all the way around the building I am a diamond member with Wyndham and ALWAYS pick up after my pet If you don’t want to allow pets at your hotel, then don’t! It is that simple, but don’t harass guests SIX DAYS LATER if you decide you will allow pets Ridiculous They should be worried about the fighting and the partying going on constantly at this hotel, rather than me and my dog who bothers no one I will NOT be staying here again

The building is very clean, smelled good The front was professional and kind Which goes long ways these days

I booked this room online through bookingcom and was given a dirty subpar room the comforter on one of the beds had stains on it, the table had some kind of white substance on it, the vent in the bathroom was filthy and the tub/shower is in need of repair on the inside of it, it appears to be some type of material patching up a hole just have it repaired properly The check in staff was friendly besides giving me a terrible room, I guess when you book online you get the worst room in the hotel

This is a beautiful historic Hotel about 25 min from Gettysburg, that has the quaint and hometown feel of stepping back in time All the staff were genuinely kind and engaging while going about their tasks The food served was incredible, the Meatloaf is a must and I’m not even a fan of meatloaf ordinarily!!! Also try the Brussels Sprouts… perfection

They also had some great drinks like a Blackberry Sour and The 1763 Lager ( Centre Sq Brewery) We will definitely be back, thank you for some great memories!

As part of our trike trip from Virginia to Pennsylvania we wanted something other than a normal motel stay and we certainly found it This is a beautiful antique hotel, very well kept and comfortable The rooms were clean the service was excellent

The restaurant in the hotel is great, the food and service were superb Anna, Morgan and Casey all terrific We will definitely be back!

I think it is important not to give such a poor review without the establishment understanding what was done wrong to warrant a one star review My family, three of us went to the Easter buffet @ 12:00 thinking all the food would be fresh We had to walk a long distance to another room from our table to the “buffet

” The buffet never looked visually attractive It was set up in a room with large tables of families within arms length of the tables They didn’t have one person serving any of the food, it was totally serve yourself, by not having had servers behind the food, the food became poked and mushy looking in appearanceThe serving silverware was never changed, considering the Pandemic we all this lived through, you would have thought that would have been a top priority The amount of food on the buffet looked very skimpy for the amount of people that were dining Aside from the fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, the food was less than mediocre for the price The server at our table was attentive, in fairness the service was good

Brad Gaskill

The stay got started off immediately in the wrong foot Check in states 3pm it was past 4pm before we got our room I don’t know how that’s possible for a Thursday check in

Especially in York, PA No way this hotel was sold out the night before The water pressure is less than desirable In fact, what water pressure? There is none The gym could use a daily disinfectant + towel replenishment Bare minimum have disinfectant wipes available Overall, the stay was ok – bed was comfortable, room was cool, no issues with sound or disturbances But I think addressing minor details that can be improved upon that could’ve made the stay better Although, the two random coors lights left in the fridge in our room was a delightful discovery The mountains were blue To recap: check-in means check-in, spare me the “linens issue” excuse, even marginal upgrade in water pressure to the shower would be a win, and tidy up the gym space more frequently
