The hotel is clean and also offers a full restaurant breakfast with each stay from 6am-12pm I didn’t have breakfast because we were there to see family and they had already prepared some delicious food This is not a five star hotel but it definitely passes as decent

They should add a shampoo, body wash and conditioner dispenser in the shower though because the mini shampoos are not enough for my extra long hair

My boyfriend and I came out to Show Low to get away from Phoenix for a day and do some fishing at the nearby lakes This hotel made us feel at home and we enjoyed our stay very much You can tell the rooms had been renovated and everything was clean

The hotel also included a free voucher for a hot meal at the Show Low café which was very nice and fulfilling I’d definitely come back and spend another night or two

The location was a good spot Right near downtown Tons of food places

ETCWe got to the inn for check in and it was a simple process 2pm check inWe took our keys and went to our room and were given another room afterwardBecause we checked the bed to make sure all was well There was hair all over the pillows As well as dirt of some kind on the pillows and bedThe 2nd room was better But the floor was dirty throughout the room And right after we walked in we had to kill a cockroach-The water was hot while taking a shower Curtain in bathroom was not there though-As well as when hands needed to be washed; There was a small bar of soap-The bed was comfortable for the night Slept well-A/C unit worked great Room was nice and cold all night-Fridge in the room worked Not sure about the coffee maker or microwave thoughCheck out was at 11am that morning But the owner came by around 8:30am knocking on our door to see if we were checking out Cannot say that was appreciated but oh wellOverall not a terrible stay but we will more than likely not be staying here again

My partner and I have stayed in some shady places while doing lots of traveling We figure a bed’s a bed and it’ll work for a night But this was one of the dirtiest, grossest places I’ve ever stayed

The random used needle in the closet was the cherry on top!The office staff was nice though

Michael Cook

Office staff was very friendly and helpful Room was not overly large, but perfect for a one-night sleep stay Bed was comfortable, pillows were a little smooshed, but I learned a long time ago to bring my own pillows

A/C was *super cold*, it was excellent after a hot drive! Water in the sink and shower were hot and good volume Towels were not super fluffy, but I’ve learned not to expect that NO bugs, that’s a big plus for me! I wondered, since I hadn’t seen any comments about bugs in other reviews My room was non-smoking, and had no smoke odors Oh, and the hum of the A/C overnight provided just enough white noise to drown out any incidental noise from neighboring rooms and the traffic outside I didn’t notice any of the things that others had complained about in their reviews I would stay here again!

Stayed one night with my two pups, after a four hour drive (and working all day) While the office was closed when I arrived at 6, there was a number on the door that I was quickly able to call and a very nice woman quickly let me know which room I was in and I was able to get right in the room was very large, clean and upgraded with all the amenities I needed

I loved being able to back right up to the door and unload Do NOT let the old school front of the motel look fool you as the interior courtyard has a mountain kind of charm and the room I had was comfortable, clean and I felt very safe (104)

Casey Henderson

Myself, my partner, my 8 yo son and our two doggies just stopped by here for a night

We enjoyed our stay and the room was perfect for us There is a really cute wooded courtyard area with string lights in the back that would be awesome to chill in I picked this place for the woodsy vibe and that’s what I got, and was greeted in the office with a crackling fire and staff that was friendly with me and each other (sets the vibe of a place for sure!) We’ll be back in the summer!

Great place to stay Honestly was not my first choice but now has become it The owners are very polite and hospitable

Checked on me whenever we saw each other in passing and made me feel super welcomed It’s in the perfect location as well Plenty of gas stations around, a grocery store, the bank, Starbucks and delicious restaurants are just a few minutes away Oh, and the prices!! Great prices While everything was well over my budget, this motel was the perfect price I visit the White Mountains often and now this will be my go-to place, and it should be for you too!

Clean hotel right off the main road Staff was polite & professional I like that they serve up the hot breakfast

Good value for the meal served (pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, cereal, coffee & even hot chocolate for the kids)Their hot tub was under repairs & they offered swim passes at the property across the street Not sure if this is a temporary upgrade or a permanent part of the stay but definitely worth advertising! We were allowed to use the pool across the street at Woods Canyon Inn (which also has a spa & sauna) On the way out from the swim the over concierge there treated us to freshly baked cookiesWe would definitely stay at this hotel again & recommend highly

We were in the area for a wedding(June 29-July5) and couldn’t have had a better place to stay The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were all friendly and efficient We especially enjoyed breakfast! Patrice did an excellent job and was friendly , polite and helpful! We missed her friendly greeting when she was off on our last day there!

The positive: Good location, clean room and good breakfast On the negative side the beds are extremely uncomfortable I couldn’t even sleep on back because it was so uneven

The gentleman serving breakfast had an attitude problem I understand he was working breakfast and front desk but the flat tone, rude demeanor and 1000 yard stare is not how you should present in this industry Glad the rest of our trip is booked elsewhere Several other options in the area

It’s an OK hotel Breakfast was great IHG have the best breakfast in my opinion

There are 2 buildings, I was in building B Not going to lie, it’s kind of creepy Vending machines were empty, it’s dimly lit, and outdated The TV channel selection was boring While I was staying there, a fire broke out in the B building Plus, the bottom floor flooded Management handled it VERY WELL I know everyone’s experience during that was different, but mine was handled well I got all my belongings and was booked into another room in building A I finished my business trip a couple days later and went on home However, IF I ever go back to Show Low, AZ…I’m staying at the Hampton Inn

amber bourassa

When we first arrived, we did not have any hot water and our heater in the room did not work properly I asked the front desk about it They said there was no maintenance on staff for the rest of the day and we couldn’t switch rooms because they were fully booked

They said they would give us an extra blanket if they could find one But they were not sure where they were at because they recently had a fire The only thing I can say is that it was a fairly clean hotel with a decent breakfast But not having hot water is unacceptable

Stephanie Ivan

Writing this review as I lay here in my room at 1:30 AM wide awake There is such a strong smoke smell in the room from the outside, fireplace/fire pit smoke The person in the room next to me has been coughing all night and I can clearly hear it

The room is semi updated, parts of it need a good cleaning You can tell the carpet is filthy just by looking at it I had spilled a little on the carpet so I got a towel to clean it up and after wiping up my spill the towel was black! It so grossed me out The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy

Very convenient and affordable 4 night stay late June 2022 Staff & management made this an excellent stay The hotel building is clearly an older building

It’s a busy place & can be a bit noisy here and there but wasn’t horrible A lot of trades stay in the area doing construction and utilities work The room was clean & beds /pillows were super comfortable Very helpful front office Great rate for the time of year

Jonathan Shih

This was a complete joke Front entrance is locked You have to ring the bell and wait for someone to come

There is a sign that is constantly posted saying there are out of the office This was booked through Priceline Currently, you have to pay an EXTRA $10 a night for “Covid Service Charge” They are no offering breakfast at all That was one of the main reasons of booking this hotel so I didn’t have to try and get breakfast in town Room was also not cleaned Front desk sent me to a room knowing there was an issue with toilet Walked into the room to hear a running toilet While situating into the room, a man was in the process of walking into my room I actually ran and slammed the door closed and bolted the door After yelling through the window, I realized it was the maintenance man Maintenance man was wondering why the front desk put me in this room as he wasn’t done repairing the toilet Stated he fixed the toilet When he left, 15 minutes went by with continued running toilet Front desk sent him back again and it was resolved Overall, spend the extra money and stay at the Holiday Inn, Best Western or Super 8 I’ve stayed at all of them

Anthony Rath

Mediocre place to stay… can get pretty loud especially Friday & Saturday with everyone racing around Room overall wasn’t that bad; maybe wash the top sheet more than once in a while Shower head 🚿 pressure was excellent

Bed was pretty comfortable (I always travel with my own pillows) but it wouldn’t hurt to use dryer sheets on that linen, that static was crazy Stayed here for 4 nights & it wasn’t that bad at all

Chris the owner and his wife were beyond helpful! Very nice friendly people We ended up staying here for 2 weeks while we were waiting for our cabin

The rooms a clean, and quiet and worked well for us our only regret is that we didn’t find this place sooner! Very affordable Ps they don’t allow pets which is great for us as we have bad allergies!

christopher rapacz

I love this place As someone who’s managed hotels before this lady knows what she’s doing Her rooms are extremely clean and she takes pride in her business

These negative reviewers just don’t the lady’s willingness to stand up to these bullies which regularly attempt to rip business owners off in the White Mountain Area I stay here every time i’m in the area and will continue doing business with her moving forward She is a shining exemplification of honesty, integrity, and hard work and her business reflects it

Sunnie Up Everyday

The staff at the front desk are amazing I stayed 2 days at one time and 1 more day another time and both times were outstanding The pool was being worked on so I would call ahead of time if your interested in going to the pool

This Super 8 did have a elevator to use so you could go up to the higher floors instead of using the stairs It also has luggage carriers to carry stuff in, which worked great in my favor No USB hook ups so remember to bring a wall charger The beds were nice and it even had alittle fridge in my room

Michell Warren

The location is great, the room was not Sparkling clean but was not dirty, although there was black mildew around the shower doorThe decor is drab, makes the room look dark and gloomyThe staff uummmm well let’s just say

no personality and a bit on the weird sideI have worked in hospitality for over 20 yrs, my goal is to always have a customer smile and feel welcomed, you won’t get that hereBreakfast offered it was ok, the coffee in the room is TERRIBLE, bring your ownThey are pet friendly with a feeOver all stay, ok, but I’ll try a different place on our next visit

Chunky Chica13

DO NOT stay here!!! Entry side walk in disrepair someone could get hurt Towels worn out, cheapest toilet paper, stained chairs, breakfast was hard hostess coffee cakes & coffee Paper thin walls

Pet friendly yes but ONLY on the 3rd floor Overall a GREAT disappointment Nothing super about this Super 8 😡 I have never given a review good or bad But this had to be said One star to many

Even though the hotel is currently under construction the room was nice, also very quiet I liked the fact that the beds had 4 pillows, most hotels do not have that The breakfast in the morning was amazing, they had hot breakfast, bacon had me

It was yummy My only complaint is the elevator had a smell that gave my wife a headache, although this may be because of the construction and trying to keep it clean and it would not stop me from staying here again

Amanda smith

Will NEVER return Old lady w short gray hair at desk was absolutely rude I checked in went into my room or was FULL of dust , floors were not mopped absolutely not OK to charge 261$ for a dirty room

So I showed lady she agreed to come look as well took photos together and said sorry I have to call corporate she couldn’t refund because it was dusty not dirty Clearly wasn’t distracted, photos I have are terrible What’s the difference me and my kids slept in a dirty room I played almost 300$ for Also the pool area was disgusting and open so EVERYONE could see you Absolutely weird How can I post photos assistant manager was a rude joke too Not good customer service at all

C&K Haymond

Got a great deal on two rooms here Location is good if you’re headed to Sunrise Rooms were decent and clean, indoor pool+hot tub+sauna provides relaxation options, mattress is firm, breakfast is hot (biscuits n gravy, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs (that are tasteless), fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice selection)

I had no issues sleeping here and no real complaints For the price it was an unbeatable choice
