This hotel needs a lot of work and starting with the Customer Service agent that was working when I checked in on Friday afternoon She has no clue as to what she was doing and she was also sick and we coud barely hear her We ended up calling the manager and he was able to square us away with our reservations

The rooms had water spots on the ceiling that looks like it was shabbily repaired The towel bars in the bathroom were loose and just barely holding the towels on The irons did not work and there were no blow dryers that are standard in most every hotel room The phone was very static riddled and it was hard to even make a call to the front desk for service The bathroom shower was not cleaend as there was hair on the walls and in the drain and a dirty towel on the side of the tub that had a footprint on it I used the cleaning supplies I brought with me to ensure the room was sanitized and I got fresh sheets for the bed The housekeeper that came by to clean the room on Saturday was awesome and she made sure things were good to goSomeone needs to work with the Agents at this hotel to ensure that they know what is going on and can provide the caliber of service that one would expect from a Wyndham hotel I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting the area Your money can be better spent somewhere else

The rooms were clean, all rooms are accessed from inside the building The staff was very friendly even in the middle of the night I called ahead to let them know we would be arriving at 2am and not to cancel our room

They were happy to spread the word to the night shift When we needed more supplies for the room they were happy to help The location is great literally walking distance to Walmart and food plus easy access to the hwy when it was time to leave The down side was we were in a room closest to the road and you could hear the cars driving by, but it wasn’t too bad The pool was closed I’m assuming bc we’re just coming out of winter Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast Overall it was a nice stay and if we are ever back on that side of town we will stay again

It has taken me a while to write this, my experience was during covid lock down When everywhere was the cleanest they’ve ever been This place had signs all over talking about their extra cleaning measures

We walked in to a broken off toilet seat, VOMIT RUNNING DOWN THE WALLS, beer can in the drawer and just all around filthy I waited in the lobby until everyone was gone, so no one overheard what I was saying but the manager didn’t seem to care much and just said she’d move our room but couldn’t offer discounts I never asked for a discount I wasn’t complaining because I wanted something, I was literally horrified that I just stuck my hand in a strangers puke I wanted to post pictures of the vomit and the bathroom and the brown goop on the bathroom door handle, and the sticky side table, and the black spotted on the wall, but I can’t figure out how

This hotel is very outdated and nothing about it is what I expected from any Hilton property This was one of the more expensive hotels for the weekend in the area but chose it because we have never had problems with a Hilton propertyWe drove 5 hours after work Friday so didn’t get to check-in until after midnight

Check-in was fast and easy but considering the time, with no one else checking in I would think it would beWe got to our room and it was dirty The only thing that was cleaned from previous guests was maybe a clean top sheet on the bed and trash taken out The front desk said they had no other clean rooms available to switch us to So, at 1AM with two sleeping kids, my husband and I had to clean the room as best we could ourselves, including changing all beddingThe room had dirty dishes in the sink Dirty dishes in the dishwasher A dirty hand towel on the bathroom counter A broken side table The carpet was disgusting and definitely hadn’t been vacuumed in a while Nothing had even been wiped down The small sofa was literally damp with what smelled like urineThe pool area is nice Complimentary breakfast is okay but only a few options and the breakfast area was not kept clean at all The two ladies working the breakfast area were to a few guests that we overheard ask them questionsI do not recommend this place at all We paid $250 a night and was a very bad experience

Faith McGhee

We came here for a girls getaway weekend The young men at the front desk were so helpful in recommending places to eat, where to find things, etc any staff we ran into during our stay were super friendly! Charles, the shuttle driver, whom we used often during our stay, was AMAZING!! They have a gem in this guy! He made us feel like VIPS! He was so fun and even went inside a store with us to make us feel safe

Charles is the BEST! We never made it to the free breakfast so we can’t say how that was Our room was very clean and for three girls, we had plenty of towels We would definitely come back and stay here again!

STAY AWAY!!! I travel about 9 months a year and without question this is the worst Hilton property I have EVER stayed in In fact this will likely be my last paid stay at any Hilton property I am a Diamond member and the lack of benefits as a Hilton member are breath taking

All you get now are two free bottles of water and Diamond member parking that are always taken and full I’ve been here 8 days and have had to go to the front desk to get toiletries and towels because room service is so erratic I went to the front desk at 3am this morning before going in to my shift at the hospital to ask for room service and they said sure no problem I come home at 5pm and I’ll give you two guesses but you’ll only need oneno one had serviced my room I go to the front desk and ask why and they say you have to give them 24 hours notice I’m like on all the literature posted around this place where does it say thatsilence no response Then I made the mistake of eating the free buffet breakfast and get horrible food poisoning from the undercooked bacon and eggs that tasted off So my advice is to steer clear of this poorly run property and if you want to do yourself a favor avoid Hilton properties as a whole Take it from someone who travels to many of their facilities Attached is the tip I had left out for the for the cleaning staff I’ll of course leave it because I believe the problem is a management issue and not a staff issue, but I know others who receive such poor customer service will not be leaving tips Hilton is constantly trying to sell their new time share properties to me and when I spoke with the they were shocked at my experience Their pearl clutching at the thought of their properties being so poorly run was hilarious to me I said travel around and visit these dumps The excuse for rolling back benefits has been the pandemic for far too long It’s time to start offering your customers amenities and customer service again

Mr. K.C.

Do NOT go here, this place is one of the worst hotels I have ever been The room was dirty and the shower didn’t work I asked for a room in the back side of the hotel away from the airport and was told is was full

In the morning across the hall that room was available Found this out because I had to use THAT ROOM’S SHOWER People were arrested in the parking lot when I was there, and it it was loud music half the night the music was louder than the jets!!! Never again! I should get a refund

Melissa Guilbeau

I need an itemized receipt to be reimbursed for this business trip I requested an itemized receipt upon checking out but was given a non-itemized receipt Two days later, I sent an email to the email address printed on the receipt requesting an itemized receipt

A week later with no response, I called the hotel and requested an itemized receipt, and also informed her that I had emailed this request She told me she would look into it and call me back It has been two more weeks and I still have no responseThe hotel itself was okay Room smelled moist and there was no hair dryer or iron Everything else about the room was fine Breakfast was served at 7am though the sign on the wall said 6am There was no milk at breakfast and the only creamer I could find for the coffee was in the lobby

Emily Childs

The only reason I stayed after actually getting into the room was because it was after midnight and already paid for Walking in the room we were immediately hit with the smell of mildew It was so strong it gave me a headache

The floor and sheets were damp and smelled awful There were multiple hairs and stains on the sheets My husband slept on top of the covers fully dressed, and I sat in the desk chair and read a book because there was no way I was getting any sleep Do NOT stay here I’m 100% positive the only reason they’re still open is because they’re literally across from the airport But don’t waste your money Stay somewhere else and drive the few extra miles

If you want affordable luxury, look no further This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed & my wife wanted to look into weekly rates! She liked how it was upscale without being snobby Maybe it’s just me but I felt the history of the building while appreciating the updated decor

And the staff was 5 star as wellWe booked through a 3rd party who got the reservation wrong The manager acted quickly and even upgraded us & added a complimentary bottle of wine We look forward to staying in the Van Gogh room next time

Mary Hansen

The complimentary breakfast advertised on the website consisted of store-bought breakfast sandwiches to microwave and cold cereal And even those were not on offer on weekends, when the only in-house option was a so-so $25 per person buffet! Parking was $25 per day in a neighborhood with posted rates of $25 PER MONTH There was shower gel but no hand soap in the bathroom! A lack of soft items in the large room and hallways made for echoes loud enough to wake me

The lights on the phone came on without reason There were lots of minor maintenance problems in the room and throughout the property, including a door lock that had to be partly reassembled each time we opened the door and carpet in common areas that wasn’t vacuumed over the entirety of our one-week stay The bed was the only upside — new and comfortable

Nancy Price

From the moment I walked in I loved the place Its so unique and clean!! The staff was very kind and accommodating!!I had to go to the spa as I’ve heard how great they are by locals and mutual friends!! Crystal Villarreal Aesthetics did my dermaplaning and then the signature plus HydraFacial in which you get the led light therapy A growth factor booster along with peptides & antioxidants infused

It was amazing!!! My skin has never looked so smooth and glowing !!!Crystal was so professional and kind and explained everything she was doing before she started and all along the way!! I’ve never felt so pampered! If you live locally it’s a must to get the wonderful spa treatments! If you are visiting the area and want to have the best facial ever, you will be extremely pleased and so relaxed when you leave!!!!!

The hotel looks nice and big The room was nice and it’s everything I expected The price is a little higher than what I would like, it would have been nice to include breakfast with this price

The pool looked good, nice outdoor sitting area However, the hot tub was under repair and looked like an eye sour The outside doors are locked the entire time, good thingThe app door opener actually works very well, that I need a regular door key I will come back to this hotel if I’m back in the area

Jordan Guidry

The hotel looked nice from the outside but it’s over priced for a room with a filthy bathroom and no complimentary Continental breakfast The bath tub was disgusting The floors in the bathroom were definitely not mopped

There was a pile of grime in the corners of the Floor The non-slip decal in the tub was brown and gross The grout had mold all over it Would not recommend

Keta Rush

Staff was nice but very nasty hotel The showers are full of mold and they are just nasty Bugs was crawling on me and in my room

The first night I had to change rooms because the shower was very nasty and full of mold I have plenty of pictures I feel like I need free room at any Hilton for 3 nights and a refund The bed sheets were super thin and pillows needed to be in the trash Hilton hotels have really gone down

I enjoyed the room itself but the check-in process was very difficult I came in on a work trip with a room booked through my company and Mac at the front desk refused to help me check in I asked Mac what I needed to do in order to allow me into my room and he told me I should already know

Giving vague answers to important questions is very frustrating If he had given me a name of who to contact or asked for some type of proof I would have provided it to him Anyway, I ended up waiting for Mac to finish his shift and easily checked in when his relief showed up I had proper ID and company credentials Mac was just out to make peoples lives difficult If I were traveling on my own time I would never stay here because of my experience at the front desk

Brittney Kirkland

Overall the room was clean and the ac was great was nice and cold The staff was very nice especially miss brittney The location was just right close to the freeway and close to the shopping

Great breakfast However the pool was freezing cold due to their building design flaw the way they built it kept the sun from reaching the pool to heat it up When we stayed 04/29/22-05/01/22 it reached over 89 degrees outside and we all went swimming and had to get out immediately as it was freezing cold And their elevator is our biggest issue we had gotten trapped a total of 4 times Yes we can use the stairs but my husband is handicapped and has to use the elevator to go up and down A staff member was yelling and screaming help as she was stuck and their emergency phone inside the elevator is non working We would have given it a one star but the friendly staff deserves a star We were charged 45 dollars for 2 waters and a lunchable as well

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but the lady running the front desk during check in was on her personal phone on speaker every time we went through the lobby or asked a question and seemed uninterested in helping us The morning lady however was fantastic and friendly! My kids commented on how sweet she was! The shower did have hair in it and there was a piece of broken glass my kid found in the bathroom The pool was NOT clean enough to use unfortunately

Otherwise it was a decent stay and we will stay again

Decent hotel It’s definitely older but overall in good shape Good location right off the freeway but quiet and down the street from Walmart, gas stations, fast food, etc

Friendly staff Evening social was nice with burgers and beer Free Breakfast was good with biscuits, eggs, waffles, milk, orange juice Super hot water in the shower which is extremely rare at a hotel so that was a plus As stated above the hotel is showing some signs of age; it sounded like my ceiling fan was going to detach from the ceiling at any given moment My TV remote control battery compartment had been sealed with aluminum foil Small stained tub No daily housekeeping or towels unless you request Plenty of parking and the hotel itself seemed secure All things considered I would stay again

Cedar The Dentist

Great stay! Becoming a royal fan of Homewood Suite by Hilton Had excellent hot breakfast that is above the average hot breakfast from elsewhere Scrambles, omelets, hash browns, sausage patties, Chobani yogurts, and many many more! Spacious lobby, decent room and amenities

Most of the staffs were understanding and nice but some were sub-exceptional But that’s okay It can get little noisy with many families with children Well, my child was a bit loud, sorry bout that

N B

Great customer service !Terry at the front desk was amazing He over exceeded my expectations I had to cancel my reservation and get a new one because of Hilton Points but he helped all the way through, while having the 1-800 Hilton

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars it was the living room couches were stained 😟Not a very good thing for this type of hotel However, everything else was good Clean towels, clean beds and okay bathroom

I was very sad to see that with so much opening back up after the pandemic that they still are not offering Valet services especially with it being such a great distance to walk from the parking garage The casino looked like a ghost town! It seems that they have gotten rid of a lot of machines on every floor I’d honestly hate to be here on a night when there are a lot of people because you’d probably have to wait around for a slot machine! I didn’t witness anybody winning at all, as well as myself

I know the odds are stacked against me already, but at least let me enjoy playing since there are so many negative things associated with coming here, lol I played several different machines and lost good money and never even got a decent bonus or play back However, the rooms still are very nice and comfortable I honestly can’t say that I would recommend this place as far as casinos go but if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, then this would be a good choice

Adrian Angelle

This was a horrible experience!!!! I regret choosing Sam’s Town as my choice of stay and play After driving over 200 miles, I was expecting a little more appreciation and customer service, but I received neither!!!I spent quite a bit of money, more than I care to talk about I even requested a comp meal after my expense playing spree, but was declined (This was a 1st ever)

The time spent driving, the lost of money, and the unappreciated choice made to stay and play, and overlooked value of being a customer is very upsetting and hurtful By the way I have allowed this to be done twice, never again!!! Anyone looking to be used and abused “Sam’s Town” is the place to be

We called this number that is listed as Sam’s town but it goes to a 3rd party booking service which lied to us about numerous things lied about the amenities the hotel was not what it used to be the casino should be called a game room not casino it was like a ghost town, no valet service no restaurants we actually witnessed homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks one came up to us while we were outside the door and was begging for money we contacted the hotel to address the lies their 3ed party had used to get us to book with them we were told we were gonna be refunded our money we reserved 2 nights then when we got there we found all the lies and only stayed the night we left as soon as the sun came up the 3red party continues to lie to us about refunding our money we are in the process of filing a theft by deception charge I will not recommend this hotel their business practices are shady at best

Be advised to inspect your room!!! Checked in at 6pm and left to have dinner Upon return from the evening, roaches were found on top of desk and entertainment area Took photo and reported to management

Management showed no concerned and only offered us to move with small children to another room We have stayed at several Comfort Suites on this family vacation and this hotel has been the 1st to have bugs in the rooms Customer service should have been more concerned being apart of the Choice Hotels Chain

I cannot say enough about this fabulous place! Such a thoughtful and clean hotel that I felt an overwhelming need to write a review! Loved every minute of our stay!! We really appreciated the breakfast, fabulous coffee and tea, and especially the chocolate chip cookies, popcorn and lemonade every night There are even board games available, which is super nice The staff was always kind and helpful in all of our interactions

Loved the location by all the restaurants and the horse track! The mornings were amazing watching the horses run! If I could give this place more stars I would! Thank you for making our stay wonderful 💛

Gregory Shepherd

The staff was very friendly and hospitable There were issues with the pool area Some of the lighting fixtures were barely attached and the light bulbs in these fixtures weren’t the same

Not something I would point out, other than it isn’t up to the high standards of other holiday inn express that I’ve stayed There was no snack bar in the lobby and only one drink and one snack machine on the first floor Hardly enough for a four story hotel On the bright side, the lobby and room were very clean and organized and the beds and linens were very comfortable The attendant working the breakfast area was definitely on top of things All the offerings for breakfast were fresh and well stocked Also The entire breakfast area was kept up nicely Only complaint there is no televisions You would think that during breakfast, some may want to watch the weather channel or local/national news It also would have been nice to have a couple of news papers like USA today and the local publication to read while eating breakfast A few small teaks and this location could really shine

Got into town late and went to several hotels, only to be told they had no available I was abt to give up but Thankfully they had a room available Gerald the front desk clerk was awesome

Make the Choice to pick another Hotel Stayed here in 2019 & it was clean & reasonably priced Not anymore

We’ll never stay here again We were checked in to a $200 room that was clearly not cleaned – messy bed & underwear on the floor Gross The hall reeked of weed (“100% smoke-free hotel”) We got another room on a different floor with: a wayward toilet seat, clogged tub drain, no screen or stop in the sink, one bar of soap, a swirly looking film on “cleaned” surfaces, a grease stain on the bed cover, & a microwave that wasn’t plugged in because that was the only way it could be turned off Guests were noisy, inside and out, throughout the night The hot breakfast was decent for hotel fare Clearly, Choice Hotels can do better – I’m writing this from the Sleep Inn in Park City, north of Wichita, Kansas, and it’s exceptional on all counts It is brand new, the staff has a clue, and it’s only $125

The CCC Family

Had an amazing stay The staff was extraordinary Extremely friendly and helpful

The front desk clerk greeted us with the biggest and warmest smile She was courteous and made our check in a breeze The room exceeded our expectations Comfortable bed, plenty of towels, cable tv, and the air conditioner was perfect We will definitely stay here next time

Mary Elizabeth Preston

When we called, they said they only had a suite for $164 We needed a room so we took it The room smelled awful

They had tried to cover up the “sour” smell with some room deodorizer but it didn’t work It smelled like wet towels that had soured The other problem was the TV was hanging on a wall in a different room than the bed was in It was difficult to watch TV from the bed There was no hurry dryer and it was very old and in bad shape I don’t believe this was a suite because the bathroom was for handicapped people The bed was comfy but the price was way out of line No discounts for seniors or military That wasn’t good We only stayed there because my husband had a procedure at the hospital early the next day and it was the closest

Everything was excellent We came here with our 3 young kids to enjoy splash Kingdom which is about 7 minutes away The customer service was great,Everything was clean and the knock on the door in the noon to make sure we didn’t need anything was great

Breakfast was good Everyone was so politethey also have an indoor pool which we got to try out, it was a nice experience Many restaurants near by

Karen Orozco

We arrived later than expected, one of the front desk people called to verify we were still going to stay the night, and allow the system to cancel our reservation, that was great When we arrived the lady at the front desk was on her cell phone while checking us in The room was spacious

Beds were firm Breakfast was good with hot eggs, sausage and waffles

Marcia Ratzloff

Needs updated! Borderline “clean and fresh” room (Room 204) The A/C only worked marginally in the King bed room Slept absolutely horrible between that and the very strange rumbling noise that loudly rumbled the entire night directly underneath us

sounding like a thunderstorm The water pressure was really poor, literally just a trickle at the sink, and the toilet “flap” had to be readjusted after flushing so the water would fill and it could flush next time We’ve avoided Comfort Inns the last while and this visit confirmed all over again that we would continue to avoid them! Definitely not work $170!!

The property itself is well kept but the rooms need some work, The lobby was decent In the room-light fixtures were falling off the wall, closet door was broken, chipped furniture, and furniture with stains All the Hilton properties I’ve stayed in recently provided sanitizer wipes in the room-this one had none

The remote had a sticky substance on it Everything was dusty & the air didn’t blow cold I wanted to be happy with this hotel since it’s in a good location but I don’t think I’ll go back unless there is some work done

Dominique Allen

The lobby was clean and friendly staff when I checked in but when I came back from an event, there were two dead roaches laying in the first floor hallway When I got up to my room, it smelled like cologne and musty There was a sticky substance on the cabinet handle to open the refrigerator

Carpet needed deep cleaning The tv in my room did not work! Awful 😞! The front desk staff told me to unplug it and plug it back inthey offered to come try it too I felt that was something that should’ve been checked prior to a guest checking in Behind the tv, where the outlets were, was filthy and dusty I only stayed the one night and found another hotel for the remainder of my stay

Mona M

Stayed here 3 nights while husband was in work meetingsPros: Very close to restaurants, stores, gas stationsThe staff was friendly and accommodating

Price was average There was a nice long desk in the room, which I loved There was a nice variety of channels on the TVBreakfast was just OKCons: Needs updating desperatelyThe king bed had queen linens and comforter The fitted sheet was replaced for a queen flat sheet that shiftedThe bed was SO uncomfortable my back is hurting terriblyThat being said, I’m glad we were not forced to sleep on the sofa sleeper It was worse
