Worked in the Tyson cooler Hot tub was needed! Came in late one night and room key didn’t work Had to drag tools and computer bag back downstairs to get new keys

not happy Found a note under the door in the morning Staff apologized and added points and $10 card to a restaurant for the inconvenience Wow, way above service for me thank you!

What a great place to stay! It’s in a great location with lots of shopping and restaurants around The parking lot is big and well lit with plenty of room for larger vehicles The lobby was big and clean and the staff was very friendly and happy

The beds were extremely comfy with lots of pillows to find your perfect sleep style But my favorite part was the breakfast It wasn’t a scrappy breakfast with some cereal and pastries It was a big breakfast with several protein options and even a pancake machine! We look forward to staying there again!#socialmediapromo#socialmediainfluencer#hotelsandresorts#(hotelnameandcity)#(brandofhotelifapplicable)#ignitehospitalityservice#hotelphotography#workandtravel#besthotel #hotelarchitecture #Traveler #hotellife #picoftheday #instatravel #photooftheday #hotelarchitecture#hoteliers #tourism #beautifulhotels #hotelmanagement #besthotels #hotelfun #hotelroom

I booked a 2 queen bed room for my family which I’d 5 people but my son is only 4 and when we travel he likes to cuddle with his mom so a two bed room would of been fine The hotel was gracious enough to upgrade us to a three queen bed room for the exact same price for free The room is superb beds are so comfy and spacious

The shower was very nice and everyone was able to take a nice hot shower after being on the road all day which was awesome seeing we have stayed and hotels before that were packed and seemed to run out of hot water I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the Sioux city area With so many fastfood and restaurants near by along with stores within such a close distance this hotel is a perfect stay

The front desk help was very easy going & efficient Breakfast was surprising! Many choices available & ran from 5am to 10am which is unheard of these days with the pandemic I had my ESA along & she put me on the first floor which was awesome bc most places put me on higher floors!! The bed was comfy, everything was clean

I didn’t care for the color scheme & the desk needed to be replaced Overall, it’s definitely a good value & we will stay again!

Jada Estrada

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at Always so clean and they have hardwood floors instead of carpet, which is so much cleaner! Only thing would be that the breakfast room is tiny/crowded and no black out curtains in the rooms Makes it hard to sleep during the day if you traveled at night

Otherwise, great location Right across the street from a Walmart and like ten places to grab food😁

An extremely perfect hotel and personally my favorite place to stay I came here with my family and girlfriend around a year ago and loved every second The staff couldn’t be nicer to all of us while staying professional

I don’t know what its called but the snack shop by the front desk had a very affordable and wide selectionTheir food they cook is delicious at a good price I want to come here again to relive the moment!

This Hotel is awesome, very clean, nice location, very nice staff, Leslie, the front desk person was so nice, The in-house restaurant is awesome, fresh cooked food, the Chef and waitress/Bartender even went out of their way to get me some lemonade because I dont drink soda I would definitely recommend this place to stay if in the area WE SHALL BE BACK !

Check in was at 3pm We didn’t get let into a room til 5pm and we were told 15min then 30min Then an hr wait

We were the only ones waiting for a room The others that were with us got there at 5pm and were told there room wasn’t ready either Really did feel bad for the two girls working the front desk There manager should have been the one dealing with customers Wasn’t not compensated or anything for our room

We made a reservation last minute at this place because the pictures online made it look alright and their website said their was a pool Our room was not particularly clean, stains on the carpet and bed skirts The stains were along both sides of one of the beds

Just a little unsettling The hotel was so busy with so many people in the pool area we couldn’t even use it There were wet kids going in and out of the pool to the outside of the hotel that the floors in the lobby were wet Is there an elevator? Never saw one and even looked around for one and the front desk never mentioned it We just lugged our bags up to the second floor We didn’t try breakfast, again because it was so busy the night before that we figured it would be crowded Went to Starbucks a few miles awayAll that being said, the front desk staff in the evening and morning were really nice Our room was super quiet I think they placed us away from the large group that was there and on the other side of the building we never heard anyone

Carla Lennan

The motel decided to asphalt the parking lot on the Friday we arrived (6/10/22) they did one part on Friday and second half on Sat (big inconveniece for parking) My tv remote didn’t work; front desk needed to get batteries Could only get about 4 channels (Disney, Nicklelodeon, Ion television and a news channel) The chair and ottoman in the room were very worn; didn’t want to sit on it; not sure how clean it was

My niece was told they had no extra pillows or blankets and was given 2 sheets I will NEVER stay here again!!

DANGER! If you are a woman traveling alone or single mother,DO NOT stay here!My two kids and I were traveling without my husband We pulled in late to a dark parking lot Three men were strategically placed in the parking lot staring at us intently

One on the bench by the door, one on a picnic table in the far corner of the lot, and one walking through the parking lot My daughter and I went inside to check in and locked my son in the back seat to wait While we were inside my son witnessed the man by the door approach our vehicle trying to look inside, then looking at our license plate When my daughter and I came back out, the man by the door was gone My son stated that he had gone around back where people unloadThe man who had been walking through the parking lot was coming back through in the same direction as if he had lapped around the building He was staring right at me so I held my ground until he was a safe distance for me to enter my vehicle That man then approached the other man who was sitting on the picnic table in the far corner and they did a high five hand shakeLuckily my debit card had been declined for some reason so we left as quickly as possible The fear from this experience gave me adrenaline to drive the five hrs to go straight homeWhen we got home, we looked at Google reviews of the Sioux City Days Inn and saw that another woman had a similar experience

This place isn’t handicap accessible, including the parking lot Yes, they have handicapped parking spaces but not they’re regular parking spots no room for a wheelchair, also no elevator All the rooms on first floor was booked, got room on second floor

Needless to say made my disabled husband was strugglingAlso, this place is dirty and I mean dirtyThankfully we had sleeping bags and pillows in our car, we used those instead of there dirty bedding and after we left hotel went straight to laundry matt to wash our beddingI understand a place being outdated but there is no excuse for how dirty its was Walls, doors, bedding, pillows, shower, mirrors windows, bathroom absolutely filthyOwners need to get off the cell phones and clean this disaster up

Geordanis

Simple place but perfect to stay Always clean room and changed towels Service is great

The best man in the reception or desk is Victor Always smile and compressive This hotel is mostly occuped by Tyson food workers so they should have chances to have earlier breakfast for this workers as most of the shifts are early morning That’s the only suggestion I have Visitor is the best guy here the others are great but Victor is the best Sincerly G

We liked our roomOur only problem was with the staffNo professional attire, the woman on the front desk was having a Loud, personal conservation with a guest about all her body piercings and the infection problems she was having

Upon check out there was an older man on the desk, everytime I went by he kept asking if I was checking out??? I had checked out earlier, and was making multiple trips to load my car He stopped me with each passing asking if I had checked out, even though he had asked me each time just 5 minutes before My mother has a small service dog, this man was continually obsessing over the location of the dog, afraid he was going to be left aloneThe other problem we had was I requested a 1st floor room for my elderly, handicapped Mother When we got there our room was on the 3rd floor Thank God the elevator was working

Kenneth Hansford

Dan was horrible He has placed two of my driver’s on do not rent because of issues he caused One, arguing with a guy over giving a receipt

Driver needed a receipt and dan refused to provide it unless my driver would give his personal email address Other driver was in the room and Dan enters her room with her inside and did not knock She was placed on the do not rent list I have now placed this hotel on MY COMPANY DO NOT RENT FROM LIST

This hotel only gets two stars for three reasons: the low price, the friendly staff, and no bugs Otherwise this place is a bit of a dump Our room was so humid our book pages started to warp by the third day, our room REEKED of mildew, the hallways all smell of smoke, and every piece of furniture feels about 50 years old

Not to mention, the “continental breakfast” is merely a waffle maker, stale bread and biscuits, cereal, oatmeal packets, along with coffee and juice You literally sign a waiver before they give you your room key stating they are not responsible for stolen items, and no refund will be given for same day checkouts (if you change your mind about staying there) Would not recommend!

Beth Lisenbee

I never leave a review unless it is a very good and kind review But I decided to make an exception for this establishment We weren’t able to make it because of a road closure and a semi jackniffing and blocking the road in front of us due to iced roads

My husband and I were on our way to our first duty station for the military We couldn’t believe the people at the front desk were so rude and unkind They refused to work with us and are charging us anyway even though we were unable to make it Apparently they think staying there is worth risking our lives I hope the service improves in the future

Jennifer Peterson

Front desk made a key card for an intoxicated guest for my room at 12:30 am on a Friday night without checking the identify of the guest Manager said “that’s what deadbolts are for” Neither management nor corporate seem concerned in this breech in guests’ safety

I received a refund but no apology or reassurance that this wouldn’t happen again

NOT a Holiday Inn now Automatic doors not working, pool closed, old, dark, exposed wires where smoke detector WAS in room Lock mechanism pulled off of door on room directly across from ours

Water from faucets tasted stale as if no water had been run through in a while Should not be listed as 3 star hotel! Water damage on ceiling tiles NOT as expected!

We were led to believe that this was still a holiday inn

not the case While very nice staff work there this hotel needs a huge amount of renovations The pool is shut down but I took a peekit’s gross and ruined Our toilet was broken the whole time and we had to use our other family’s room No crib for my child All I can say is it has potential

Loved the jacuzzi room with the balcony! It was a HUGE space with a fireplace and wet bar as well Giant king bed and was super comfy! Felt like a studio apartment The staff were very nice and helpful

Hot free breakfast was good with lots to chose from The indoor/outdoor pool is nice but often full of kids They do have adults only from 10p-11p Overall a great stay Only negative is its a little pricey but if your there for a concert or downtown scene it’s close to all that

LA Glickman

This hotel is well-appointed and you can feel the friendliness the minute you walk in the door and are warmly greeted by the receptionist A nice fire is burning in the fireplace and is plenty of seating area to sit and relax There was a piano there but nobody was playing it

The room is well-appointed and has everything a guest would need The swimming pool looks nice but it was crowded with young people There is a very large Courtyard in the back with comfortable seating outside

Mark Lego

Seems like a decent place with nice decorThe room could be maintained a little better and the beds were not the best quality Swimming pool was nice with indoor and outdoor options both connected through the wall, separated by a nice looking waterfall feature

Hot tub also available Overall not bad experience

Living life positively

We make it a getaway as this hotel is amazing exceeds many hotels we’ve experienced nationwide

Coming from Omaha it is worth the trip The decor they did in this hotel is beyond the Five Star rating they’ve been honored with as an Autograph collection BUT , with my family operating hotels nationwide I assure you its the Employees that standout … one was Holly in the bar area , she knows her Profession in handling all the requests It is because of employees like her is what us want to enjoy the bar lounge Our family always made sure employees were taken care of as it is a major draw factor for repeat business So, many companies forget this and it shows up in their numbers Her Assistant Ashley as well Holly were amazing to see how they handled the crowds It’s always nice to come back to familiar faces Warrior take care of these employees as our family did to their employees Holly you have a talent and easily could manage a hotel I write this second review as it is justified

Shayla Deppen

This hotel could and should be a 5+ star rating The rooms and common spaces are just beautiful The detail the designers put into everything definitely caught my eye and it is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in awhile

The amenities were top notch and their fitness center had everything I neededThe hotel was lacking in basic amenities and customer service at times We had to call and ask for an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and our room was never serviced even when they told us it was going to be I realize they are on a limited service schedule but I called one morning to confirm our room was going to get serviced (day 3) and was told it definitely would but they just didn’t have a definite time No problem We came back to our room early evening and our room and hadn’t been touched—trash overflowing Housekeeping was already gone for the day so they just emptied our trash basically I would stay here again but they really should improve on customer service/housekeeping and basic standard amenitiesThere is one person I would like to give kudos Forgive me for not catching his name but he had glasses, brown hair, and I believe an earring He had a great attitude and was helpful our whole stay Thank you!

B. MIchael McFarland

Honestly, I did not expect to find such an amazing hotel in Sioux City, Iowa This hotel rivals those I’ve stayed in in some of the great metropolitan cities Let’s start with the renovation and the entry

Sublime You know immediately upon entering that this is a world-class hotel The service was better than I’ve had in some much more “famous” hotels The staff truly wants your stay to be among the best you’ve had and they strive to make that happen The rooms are divine Too often in renovations of older buildings, the hotel chops up rooms to be ’boutique’ size (a synonym for teeny tiny), but this Autograph did no such thing Our room had more than enough space for the two of us, all our belongings, and space to relax, and the decor is a marvelous ode to the history of this building The rooftop bar is likely to become THE destination in Sioux City, in no small part thanks to the bartender, Deana, but also because of the incredible views and the firepits The lower level has a spa, a bar, and a bowling alley! Larry and Al made each night in the lower level a super fun time, and once the crowd dies down, Larry might just challenge you to a game of pool You will lose, but he’s a fantastic teacher, so take his pointers to heart Our stay was so fabulous we have determined to find a weekend we can getaway just to go to this hotel and not to stop on our way to another destination

First off, the staff that we interacted with were all super friendly and helpful The property itself is quite tired and need of updates It is still clean however

Suggestion to the owners: posting a notice that an exterior door may or may not open to allow you to exit isn’t really an acceptable way of addressing what should be an urgent maintenance item I’m not sure how long that notice was posted on the door as we only stayed one night but it did seem a bit concerning to me

Steve Davis

With a large tour group Check-in was terrible Called ahead to see if handicap accomodations could be made for a group of 3 to share same room

Upon arrival, majority of rooms were either not cleaned or were double booked A few rooms TV did not work After having manager called back in we were able to get everyone situated A few couples had to change rooms 3 times Rooms were clean You could tell this was an older hotel by carpet, plumbing fixtures, lights and drapes Staff was very accommodating and friendly considering situations Breakfast was okay Not a lot to chose from Hot food was limited, eggs and link sausage Make your own waffle Limited Cold cereal and pastry Overall not too bad Pool was out of order and not able to use

Jaden Wells

Was just stopping for the night on a long road trip and when looking up hotels found this one with good reviews and pictures that were showing us what looked like a new or newly remodeled hotel which was why we chose this hotel cause we weren’t looking for anything too old as we wanted a good nights rest some place nice Don’t get me wrong it was a pleasant stay the staff was great even with it being 1am, and we did sleep alright but we weren’t happy with the fact that we were mislead with a new hotel by their pictures and it was not that Price didn’t seem high until we saw what we got, to where I think it was a bit spendy for what you get
