Check in was very easy Finding the place was easy but it took us a few minutes to figure out where to Check in Our cabin was very clean

We stayed in the cabin by the barn Our first night a little gecko got in and we called the office The guy came and got it out right away Our hot tub was the perfect temperature Loved having the option to cook inside, on the grill or over the open fire Our fire pit was huge It’s a little distance from everything but so peaceful and serene If you don’t mind driving places and want a great quiet getaway then this is the place for you Sadly these owners have it for sale so hopefully the new owners will do just as good

Alex Vaught

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place, we bought a cabin and wile it was quite expensive, it came with a couple bed rooms, basically a fully prepared kitchen with utensils and pot and pans, clean towels and a hot tub They were very nice to talk to and explain clearly what’s going on with our reservation and what to expect He mentioned there is WiFi but he doesn’t advertise about it, I’m on it right now, it’s quite slow but it functions fine, better than nothing

All in all, I do recommend staying here, we had a great time (we were actually staying to go to cumberland falls, heads up its a little more than an hour out from the cabin Nice drive though)

Scheduled a tee time for two people for nine holes Showed up to play and one of us went inside to pay Told the cashier our name for scheduled tee time, he confirmed our time for two people for nine holes

Cashier drives cart over to our car and helps load both bags in the cart So far so good About halfway through the nine holes we are approached by a woman working for the course who claims she didn’t “remember” us coming through the club house and accuses us of sneaking on the course without paying Makes us show her our receipt and claims we did not pay enough She insisted we stop our round and go back to the clubhouse to pay more Once at the clubhouse the cashier says he accidentally undercharged us Even after paying the woman continues to follow us around the course and simply would not leave us alone Shortly after that our electric cart died and we had to call the clubhouse to bring us another We had no problem paying the full amount but didn’t understand the accusations of sneaking on the course, we were in a course golf cart, which died Will not be back

Joe Wolfe

We played what they called a championship golf course That was in the worst shape of any golf course I have ever played that was still open Nothing had been mowed except the greens

So tall couldn’t tell rough from fairway Tee boxes completely overgrown And they charged 50 dollarsWe had 8 playing and none of us wanted to play another round there if it was free!

They lady who welcomed us was so kind The hotel is VERY clean which you don’t see now a days We had the two room suite and it was so clean! It was quiet too! Lots of space for a family, can sleep up to 8 and has a kitchen

We had some minor issues with the ac but they fixed it Karen checked us out and her smile and kindness was just what we needed to make our trip home I will definitely be coming back Also lots of food choices in the area ! Also has an outdoor pool which was clean!

Uncle Mikey

The location of this property is excellent whereas you have major routes to take you in any direction There are several restaurant locations nearby along with other shopping The staff was extremely helpful and attentive

The breakfast and “happy hour’ selections were wonderful The room was comfortable other than the baby toilet and shower doors that don’t close and stay closed properly which i am finding to be the hallmark of the Hilton chain

Gina James

This is a very nice hotel for extended stays Very well kept secret, indeed It’s close to many eateries and major highways

Any store you need is less than 5 miles away Right off of Shelbyville Road though away from the heavy traffic near the mall area Rooms look to be newly remodeled with just the right vibe and trend Very easy to feel comfy and convenient Very clean and quiet space You will fall in love with the staff who care very much about your stay and comfort- it was surprising There was a small issue after check-in and they fixed it effortlessly right away I stay with the Hilton brand quite often as I travel for work This is by far the best Homewood Suites that I have visited I frequent the area several times a year, but will often book with the Residence Inn up the street I will start to consider this hotel instead Thanks for all you do

We Loved our stay here! We stayed here 5 nights The Staff was so Friendly, our room was wonderful and quiet The bed was the Best ever! Walking distance to Chick Fil A, Chili’s right across the street! We have family and friends that live here

This was our first time staying here and we definitely will be back!! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant:)

Stephanie Hood

If you’re staying and need restful sleep, do not stay here … the beds are like sleeping on a pallet of concrete blocks In addition, my bathroom was infested with ants, and the early morning coffee/ breakfast in the lobby requires you have have an extra 30-40 minutes to sit and wait 1 breakfast sandwich and 1 coffee to go = minimum 30 min wait and the price is premium for a flavorless meal

The people were nice, that’s really the only positive I can speak of Above everything though, the bed was absolutely horrible

Angel Welsh

This hotel was absolutely amazing a very much worth the price bed was huge and comfortable very clean in room couch turned into a twin bed everything new and modern didn’t even need block for phone charger it was installed in table already shampoo conditioner and body wash is also supplied smelled amazing as soon as we walked in air conditioner worked amazing I will from now on only stay with this chain also the front desk lady was super amazing actually held a conversation and seemed to care ! (Marked out person face for privacy )

I definitely do not recommend this Holiday Inn Express We checked in about 10pm Our room #215 had a terrible odor like dirty laundry

One bed had stained sheets And the air conditioner did not run properly Not only did it not cool the room, but it sounded like a freight train all night The bathroom had stains on the ceiling and pink mold on the trim as well this hotel is not maintaining the quality we are used to with Holiday Inn Express hotels Edited to add we are Holiday Inn Express members

Dennis Zavada

Website shows no pets, but yet dogs yapping down the hall like they were left there aloneI have never had a bad experience at Holiday Inn until now when I suggested they post a sign informing people that they allow pets so they could make other arrangements like a different pet free floor,or another motel if they wanted to be able to sleep without being at a pet shelter, front desk girl curtly said I should go up the road

Exactly what I will do from now on

This hotel was disgusting and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude We went here because all other hotels were booked and we had been driving for 14 hoursWe checked in around 1:00am and went straight to bed

After laying there for 19 minutes my kids said they couldn’t sleep because they felt like something was crawling on them We turned the lights on and found bugs We immediately called the front desk and they didn’t act surprised at all We got dressed, packed up our things and headed downstairs to get our money back They would not give us our money back Now I hope we didn’t bring their bugs home DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Lindsay Metcalf

If I could give this place – stars I absolutely would! Our beds were disgusting, pee stains, looked like someone spit tobacco on the blanket and just covered it up Went down to ask for clean blankets and I have never in my life been talked to so horribly by hotel staff This woman was BEYOND rude! Cussed at us, refused to call her manager, and threatened to call the cops

Just over asking for clean bedding We didn’t stay we ended up leaving and she refused a refund! I will NEVER be back!!

Passing through Somerset Kentucky, we stayed at the Hampton Inn Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Samuel Samuel later recommended a restaurant which we tried and enjoyed very much

He also was baking some cookies and hand-delivered a couple of them fresh from the oven What a treat! We always check out our room before unpacking our vehicle Our room smelled nice, looked neat and clean The bathroom was also very clean, very important to us! Our room attendant was Debbie, she did a great job!The breakfast area looked clean and was well stocked Every time somebody left a table it was cleaned and sanitizedThe grounds were well tended, the pool was clean and the area around the pool was clean and neatWe will definitely stay here again if in the area

I highly recommend this Holiday Inn! The hotels were very nice with comfortable beds and amazing huge windows! The entire hotel has been updated and was very modern My only issue was my toilet that was flooding when I first got to my room I didn’t check in until after 10:30pm

I then immediately went to grab dinner so I didn’t make it to my room until after 11pm I had driven for hours and was exhausted When I opened the backroom door there was water all over the floor and it was continuing to over flow from the toilet I turned the water off on the toilet and was able to then dry the floor Since it was so late and I was exhausted I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle to switch rooms for just one night and since the toilet was no longer flooding the issue was temporary fixed When I went to check out the following morning I let the front desk know about the toilet They were very apologetic Everything else was nice during my short stay and I would stay again

I often come to the area for business and always stayed next door at Hampton Inn or Courtyard I figured I will give this location a try this time May 8-12,2022As soon as I checked in at 6:35pm Sunday , my first impression of the place – clean and bright ( I like these) I was greeted by Lynn and she was extremely helpful and friendly

I explored the features both outside and in my room Great set of toiletries , room was clean , good desk to work on , comfy beds , good lighting etc Only annoying thing is the clock radio , kept buzzingAll employees I met were awesome – from the three front desk personnel and the breakfast lady My apologies that I forgot their namesWednesday was my last night of my stay and Lynn asked me ( she remembered my first name )- “ so , did we win you over ?”My response was —- “ definitely , I will be back in two weeks “Thank you for the great stay

May 26, 2022 My husband is an over the road truck driver and his truck broke down and is being worked on near your hotel It is Memorial Day weekend 2022 and he should have made it home but such are the ups/downs of trucking The 2 ladies at the front desk helped my husband get to stores not within walking distance to make his stay more comfortable

We are very grateful for your kindness and generosity towards him and may you be blessed 10 times over Thank you for helping, Chuck and Patty Malcolm

Stayed here for 2 nights during a small girls trip and it was the best decision I have made The staff was absolutely outstanding and everyone was so welcoming The rooms were very clean with comfortable and clean beds! Every second spent at this hotel was enjoyable and I can’t wait to go back! No complaints at all & I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a clean, quiet, relaxing place to be!

Stephanie Gregory (Stephy Lynn)

Can’t exactly rate rooms or services due to the fact that I slept in the parking lot in my vehicle after my boyfriend and I had a fallen out and I left for the night But very clean, safe and comforting parking lot for a woman who was alone Sorry comfort Inn but thanks for not disturbing me and making me go else where

Although my windows are tinted so they probably hadn’t even known I was in my car 🤫😳🤷‍♀️

Mandy Rice

Stayed on 3rd floor The floor and the bed was slanted When we walked into the room it smelt like cigarette smoke and hair spray

Even with a half bottle of febreeze it still smelt horrible We had absolutely no warm or hot water, which was hard to get ready for a wedding in ice cold water Hotel in general was not very clean We asked for swimming towels for the 6 kids and got 3 There were road construction workers outside drinking and partying all day long while stacking beer cans which was entertaining to the young kids I will say Staff was friendly
